Can the promotional credits be used on any Amazon purchase or are there restrictions?

      • Jenna

You can only use the credits on products in that category that are sold by Amazon. For example, if you purchase the beauty box, you can only use the credits on beauty items sold by Amazon. If you purchase the suds box, you can only use those credits towards cleaning items and soaps sold by Amazon.

Amazon did this a while back with samples of luxury beauty items. I was able to use the credits later on to purchase the big sample box that went up for $8.99 or GWP about a month later. The box I got ended up being valued at around $100. It was mostly foil samples, but it did include a full size Julep polish and a full size VL eyeshadow trio.

I just received my samples of suds. Well worth the money. How do I find my credit?

      • Jenna

They’ll send you an email. It’ll also show up in the order detail when you go to purchase a qualifying item.

Anyone else have any experience with the value of these boxes? They are vague on what all is in them.

      • Jenna

I just got the suds box and the protein bar boxes in the mail yesterday. I’m still waiting on the sports nutrition box.

I was SHOCKED at how good the value was, personally. The suds box included full sizes of a couple of items. I have enough dishwasher tabs to run a load every day for nearly a month. I have enough laundry detergent/tabs to do laundry once per day for about six weeks. Definitely worth more than the $7.99 I paid, and I get that money back to buy dishwasher tabs that I’d normally but from Amazon anyway. (The credit does stack with coupons and the 5-15% Subscribe & Save discount.)

The protein bars were another shocker as to how much stuff was in it. I normally look for a price point of around $1 or less per bar. I got 12 full size protein bars (or pouches in a couple of cases) for $9.99, so the value was there. And again, I can use the credit toward a S&S item that will be stacked with a coupon AND a 15% discount.
