I’m loving the free honey nut cheerios!  I downloaded the publix coupon sheet.  Since it is a pdf, I can print it out as many times as I want.  I was thinking about getting no more than 2 boxes since the store won’t be getting any profit from me buying these.  Does anyone have any input on this?

      • Anonymous

The coupon is not for the size that is on sale so you cannot use it.

        • Anonymous

How do you know that it’s not for that size?  It is not specified on the ad.  It just says “select sizes”.

          • Anonymous

You’re right.  I had seen a sneak peek on another site and thought it stated the sizes.  It is doubtful that the big boxes for the Publix Q are $2 though.

            • If they are the same as their 2/$5 a few weeks back it is the same sizes. We got roughly 20 boxes of cereal for less that $3 oop, that is using the Publix coupon that was IN the ad :) They aren’t stating big boxes, the lowest size is 12.5 oz which is a normal sized box

          • If you read the Publix coupon and its punctuation (comma), the coupon is good for any size cereal except Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Cinnamon Toast Crunch must be (15.6-25.5 oz). Perhaps they meant something differently, but that is the way the coupon reads.

          • PiperSimon

The bilo ad does state select sizes….the public coupon is for 15.6 oz or bigger…when you go into bilo you will find that only the 9-12 oz boxes are on sale so the coupon cannot be used. I understand that free cereal is very appealing but it would be lying to use the coupon or just dishonest to even try. I am sure that an awesome deal for products will soon come around that will be an honest deal to take.

Where is the Kelloggs special k coupons?  I don’t see the “target” coupon in ss 8/21 or the ecoupon (I’m in charlotte) thanks

      • Anonymous

Anytime you see a “target” coupon listed you’ll need to go to Target’s web page, scroll to the bottom and click on the coupon link.  HTH

      • you have to go to bi-lo’s website and log in. once you do that you will be able to see some green tabs …you will need to choose “eCoupons”. You will then be able to click on several that are listed (i just add them all because you never know when you might use them). Then you will need to click on “browse for more coupons” right below the searchable box where it says “search for coupons”. There are the coupons that are listed on the front page of the ad will be there. ..and also some others possibly. hope this helps:).

If your store takes Walgreens.  The 08/28 ad page 3, bottom left side has a coupon for Kraft Mayo 30 oz  $2.49. Use it with the $1 coupon = $1.49.   Limit of 3/coupon.

    • Anonymous

I thought the competitor coupons had to be scanable, but these publix q’s are not, they do not have a bar code???? so does bilo still take them?

      • Anonymous

Yes, the cashier has to manually key in competitor store coupons.  They will not scan in their system.  Therefore, it doesn’t have to have a barcode.

    • ashley willis

The Lloyd Bbq at my store is 6.99 i believe buy 1 get 1 free. I have the 75 cent off coupon that will double since my bilo doubles up to 98 cent. So it will be $2.

Just a note…the Tropicana juice is not 1.50, but rather 3.00. Too bad! Though I thought it sounded too good to be true… :(

Is anybody else having problems with the UPromise website? I log in and go to the ecoupons page. I can see coupons to load when the page comes up then I press the down button to move the page down and they all disappear. It tells me I have already loaded all available coupons but I haven’t and my list of coupons to use is empty.

    • Anonymous

FYI, the General Mills $2 cereals are the 9-12 oz.  The Publix store coupons are for a larger size (15 – 25oz) and do not apply. Bummer!

Also, the Tide matchups above show a mfr, bi-lo, and target coupon being used on one item (if I’m reading it correctly).  Bi-Lo and Target are store coupons. You can only use one mfr and one store coupon per item.

      • If you read the Publix coupon and its punctuation (comma), the coupon is
good for any size cereal except Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Cinnamon Toast
Crunch must be (15.6-25.5 oz). Perhaps they meant something differently,
but that is the way the coupon reads.

        • Anonymous

The coupon is listing all the cereals, then the ounces included in those cereals, just like a sales ad will list several like items, then the ounces included afterwards.  The coupon isn’t going to list each individual cereals ounces on the coupon.  It’s giving you the range of ounces that are included for the cereals listed.  It wouldn’t list the ounces for only Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

          • Grammatically, it is as I explained above. If you choose not to use the coupon, so be it.

            • Anonymous

I’ve been in the grocery business for 20 years and I know what the coupon states.  Some folks will try to manipulate a coupon’s wording so it will work in their favor.  The coupon would not specify ounces on just one particular cereal listed in a group.  Honestly, it’s common sense.

            • lol…

            • lol…

            • Anonymous

Abusing coupons increases the likelihood they won’t accept them in the future.  That’s why stores are getting stricter on their policies.

            • There’s a comma in between each one of them, it’s only good for ANY from 15.6-25…..  Don’t try to manipulate the system and make it harder for us to deal with the cashiers after they get in trouble…

        • The coupon is for larger sized boxes so I have removed it from the matchups above. Thanks for the heads up everyone!

      • Anonymous

Regarding Tide coupon match-up, the Bi-Lo coupon is an e-coupon and can be used in conjunction with mfr & competitor.

    • Anonymous

does anyone know where I can get a bi lo booklet?..my store doesn’t have them..would really like to have 1..maybe someone could mail me 1 if you have extras??..will trade some coupons for it..thanks

Still wondering if we can use Publix coupons that do not have bardcodes??????

      • Anonymous

I can at my Bi-lo. They just type it in manually.

        • Anonymous

Which Bi-Lo do you go to?  I just called mine and they told me no on coupons without barcodes.  Now I’m back to square one wondering if I got good info or not! UGH!

why are so many impossible match ups being put on here?

      • Jennifer Ball

maybe we should just be grateful that Jenny takes time to put this up for us every week

        • Rustycrack

I guarntee you that Jenny makes a better living than you do by posting the WRONG match-ups to the items.  If you don’t do your job right does your boss say O it’s ok, we are just grateful she came in today?

          • Anonymous

Perhaps you should go find another site to be ungrateful on.  We don’t make ugly comments on this site.

            • Rustycrack

Perhaps.  But just think about it……. How much you think they get for all these ads?  I am not the only one that has noticed such horrid match ups.  It’s true though, if someone is paying you to do a job then it is just like couponing…..do the job you are paid to do (not using a coupon that applies to a 50oz product on a 20 oz product).

    • Anonymous

The way I see it the coupon for the General Mills cereal does not match… Jenny would like your opinion

      • I double checked and I didn’t have the sizes in the coupon database. The GM coupon is definitely intended for a larger size so it can’t be used on the sale cereal.

    • Anonymous

where is the Tide ecoupon ? I don’t see it.

      • you have to log in on bilo’s website and then go to the ecoupon tab. if you have already added all the ones listed. look under where there is a search bar. it should says “browse for more coupons”. Click that and it should take you to more than are just for this ad specifically. hope this helps:).

    • Anonymous

Just got off the phone with my local BiLo (Emmanuel Ch. Rd. in W. Columbia) and they told me that they will accept other store’s coupons but they DO have to have a barcode on them.  Also, I asked what size Cheerio’s are on sale.  He checked and said the ones that are on sale 2/$4 are the 12.25oz boxes.  Then I called my closest Publix (Hendrix Crossing in Lexington) and was told that the sizes listed on the $2 coupon apply to all of the varieties of cereals listed on the coupon.  He also gave me a few prices on some of the cereals listed.  The Cheerios are the only ones on sale for B1G1 and a couple of the other cereals not on sale but that the coupon would also apply to are roughly between $3.49-$4.59.  I’m bummed because I was looking forward to some free cereal deals!  Oh well.

      • Anonymous

The store is confused on the competitor coupons.  Not all competitor coupons have barcodes.  Either way, the store has to manually key them in.  Even if it did have a barcode, it wouldnt scan in Bi-Lo’s system.

      •  I don’t think any “store coupons” have barcodes…

      • Hmmmmmm…….I just went to that Publix and they took the $2 q for the Cheerios for me.  And thats the BiLo that I go to also, and the cashier told me they will take any other store coupons, they manually key them in.  Crazy how two people can have opposit experiences in the same store.  lol

    • Anonymous

I normal shop at Publix but am considering giving Bi-Lo a try.  Can anyone tell me what competitor coupons are accepted at the Charleston area Bi-Lo’s that way I can have a good idea on how their store policy works before I walk in to the store.

      • I am a loyal Publix shopper, mostly because I’ve found that my grocery bills are lower.  If there’s a REALLY good deal for an item I have a .55 Q for, then I’ll go to Bi-Lo (it’s next door to my Publix).  I live in Greenville and have found that I normally spend more time waiting in line for Customer Service to get them to honor their stated coupon policies than it’s worth.  I’m also not crazy about their store brand.  Hopefully you’ll do better in Charleston…

      • The store in Summerville takes Target, Publix, whole foods, HEB, and Food lion.  I have heard they take Dollar General Qs but have not tried that yet.

      • Anonymous

If you’re in Sptbg. area-forget it-just stick w/Publix/ingles this week.

      • I’m in Summerville.  I shop at the Bi-Lo on Bacons Bridge Road.  I have never had a problem using any competitor coupons.  My store will take almost everyone.  I personally have used: Publix, Target, Dollar General, Walgreens RR, Food Lion, CVS, and Rite Aid.  The only store I know of they won’t take that is actually in our area is Whole Foods.  The competitor has to be within a 10-15 mile radius.

    • I hate to admit that I am not that impressed with the Bi-Lo ad this week. Not much on the Fuel Perks and the Meal Deal. Glad that we don’t really need groceries this week.

    •  A question for mothers with infants: Are the top care diapers good quality diapers? I’m going to a baby shower this weekend and I was going to give a gift card. But with the fuel perks deal I thought I could give a gift card + diapers, but only if the diapers are good. No kids & I don’t know one end of a diaper from another! Thanks!

      • Honestly Idk, But diapers are different on every kid. I have 4 and huggies worked on some and not others.  I would get the GC, If you get the diapers give them the receipt… In-case they want to return them…

I would go with a bigger brand like Huggies, Pampers, or Luvs personally.

    • FYI there is an error on the Kashi cereals – the price is $2.99.   $1.90 is the amount of savings not the price. However with a $1 off coupon that’s still under my price point for Kashi.

    • EVERYONE, don’t forget about the Kraft family book, the coupons were good through Dec. Idk why there are never listed anymore, but just letting you know..

Also Why is the General Mills Publix coupon list on Bi-Lo but not on Publix ad match up, just wondering

      • Any good deals with the  Kraft Family book?

        • I haven’t really looked in detail yet at all the adds, But I’ve almost missed some cuz I forgot about them in the past several weeks

      • Mommymadness

Where did you get the Kraft family book?

    • Are fuel perks before coupons or after. I am asking b/c last night I did the 3/$10 deal on MM’s if you spent $10 you got 0.10 in fuel perks but I didn’t get mine. i hate to go and complain at the store b/c my total bill was only $0.81.  Any thoughts??

      • momto2boys

        Before coupons.

    • Anonymous

This is the best ad for buying meats and other pantry items I’ve seen in some months.  I’m stocked on paper/cleaning/toiletries but low on food so this couldn’t come at a better time!!

    • Anonymous

For the Kashi cereal you can use the 2 dollars off any Kashi product recycle bank coupon on the Kashi Cereal and it makes it 99 cents a box

    • Not sure where the Tropicana OJ is on sale.  They are 2 for $6 at the Bi-Lo near me.  Take off the $1 coupon for RP 8/7 and it will be $2.

Tropicana Pure Premium or Trop50? Orange Juice, 59 oz, $3

-$1 off Tropicana Pure Premium product, RP 8/07

-$1 off Tropicana Pure Premium, 59 oz, September All You magazine

-$1/2 Tropicana Pure Premium products, 59 oz, RP 8/28

      -$1/2 Tropicana pure premium, 59 oz+, RP 7/10 (EXP 08/31)

-.50/1 Trop50 lemonade, raspberry lemonade, or any other flavor, 59 oz, RP 6/19 (EXP 08/31)

(use $1 off, makes it $1.50)

    • Just came back from Bi-Lo store in Simpsonville, SC… 120 hwy 14… And the Manager Confirmed to me that they do take other stores coupons W/OUT barcodes. ALSO they do accept RRs from Walgreens… Whoo hoooo!!!

    • Anonymous

Just so y’all know where not to go….BiLo just off of E.Main St. in Sptbg.–Had one “mgr.”tell me that I couldn’t use a Publix “yellow flier”Q because it had no bar code. The next day I had a different “mgr.” tell me that the first “mgr.”was right. So,I tried to use a Target q,and she said that since it was a store(and not just a mftr.q w/a target ad on it,she couldn’t take it either.Showing the “policy” proved fruitless.I’ve used quotation marks for their “mgrs.”because all they “manage” to do is hold me up and p- – –   me off.Seems like walmart is training that store.

      • Anonymous

That store drives me nuts!  I stopped shopping there!  Reidville Rd is much better but not yesterday!

    • Anonymous

For those living in Orangeburg, SC sadly enough we don’t have a Publix in town, so we can’t use them as competitor coupons!  Learned the hard way…thought I was going to get some free Cheerios! Oh well….

      • Chasityavinger

What competitor coupons will they accept in Orangeburg?

        • Pamdcoupon

They only accept local competitors like Walgreens.

          • Chasityavinger

We go to Columbia too. =)

        • Pamdcoupon

I know.  I live in Orangeburg, but work in Columbia.  I have started going to the Columbia stores instead of the ones in Orangeburg.

    • Does anyone know if in fact the Chinet Casuals coupon will work for the BOGO Chinet plates this week?  I don’t want to order the coupon if it isn’t included.  Thanks!!

      • i just used it on regular white chinet. no problems

      • It’s not included and the Casuals are much more expensive, As to the person who said they used them, PLEASE STOP … It worked becuz of the coding, but it’s not correct… Same thing J’amie Kirlew did and got in trouble for.. The Casuals Plates are much more expensive then the classic, PLEASE EVERYONE, USE THE CORRECT COUPONS…  I like everyone else LOVES a good deal but I’m not going to fraud the system to get it…

      • Mommaof1

If they are included or not they will still work, but you are not suppose to use them unless you are buying that specific item. However, the plates are not much of a price difference if at all. They are on sale at Ingles this week for 2/$5 and the casual and regular are included for the same price.

      • Anonymous

I took the Casuals to the register yesterday and they did not ring up BOGO even though they were in the row behind the BOGO sign.  They treated me like a criminal when I asked that they be taken off my order.

I hate that Bi-lo has gotten all “bait and switchy” like walmart.I actually preferred shopping there before they made all of the changes. At least you knew what to go there for–fuel perks(I usually save $1.10-$1.80/gal once every three months) and doubling the over $0.50 coupons…even then..I had the Fernwood store add 10 cents to a 55 cents coupon instead of doubling it–making it 65 cents off instead of $1.10..and the coupons were from one of their own booklets that had doubled several times before. As soon as I caught it,I went straight to the service desk to return the item(s).They weren’t happy and the smart a_ _ mgr. actually said to one of her unders,”He’s just mad because he wanted it for (almost) free”.No I’m mad(actually disappointed) that the mgrs. there either can’t read or are just flat dishonest(bait & switch). One more reason to love Publix…Ingles has a good ad this week too.I’m not driving across town just because my Bi-lo stinks.I guess I’m back to shopping almost exclusively at Publix.

    • GOOD DEAL ON MEAT!! My Bi-lo just let me use Earthfare coupons, FREE whole chicken when your order is over $10. Also used Earthfare coupon for FREE 1 lb ground chuck. No problems at the register, so buy the biggest chicken in the store. Charleston, SC Bi-lo on Sam Rittenburg.

      • Anonymous

        Wow!!!!Which Bi-lo??

        • Anonymous

          Sorry-didn’t read your complete post…still–Wow!!

    • Anonymous

      More competitor coupons:
I believe there is a dollar off tropicana coupon in the walgreens september book.  You can also print those out from Walgreens website.  Also, there is a 1 off coupon in the yellow advantage flyer for the fruit snacks. Gatorade also has a 25 cent off coupon on rite aid’s vidoe values coupons that you watch.  Hope that helps!

      • Anonymous

Also there is a target buy 2 get 1 kraft salad dressing making that even lower as well.

      • Anonymous

the Publix Huggies one won’t work because it’s for the larger sizes. :(

        • Anonymous

$3 off Huggies Diapers, Pull-Ups or GoodNites, 27-158 ct.
I copied that from the Publix list for the in-ad coupon.  I don’t think there is any size smaller than 27 diapers.  Looks like it’s a go.

    • Am I the only one that saw the emailed Labor Day sale flyer for Bi-Lo stating that Tide was 2/$4 with e-coupon??????? I looked at the e-coupon on Bi-lo’s site and it doesn’t match up to the advertised price. I am hoping that if I show it to management that they will honor that price. I printed off the ad just incase they deny the advertised price. Has anyone else seen this email?

      • Allison Salmen

I saw it. Please POST if they honor it, Its in my inbox too.

      • Darcigervaise

I saw it too….If it’s true that will be a great deal with the coupons!

      • Emyalf_mk

I believe a revised e-mail was sent out.  Bummer.

    • Anonymous

I am so disappointed I was informed by our local (Rock Hill, SC)Bi-Lo store manager that beginning tomorrow they will no longer double coupons up to 99 cents…will only double to 60 cents.  I know this has been a Bi-Lo policy for awhile and was at the descretion of the stores but it makes me sad….guess I will become a more local Harris Teeter customer where they still double up to 99 cents.

      • Anonymous

That stinks! I also live in Rock Hill, which store was it? Is it supposed to be all of them or just 1 particular store?

      • valerie

i hope you have enjoyed .99 off then because my bi lo has always been .60, I’m in Lexington SC.  Freds doubles .75 (i think)

      • Anonymous

Just FYI, I went to the Super Bi-lo on Cherry Rd this morning and they still doubled my $0.85 coupons, no problems.

    • Anonymous

I tried to use a Food Lion “store” coupon with a manuf. coupon, and the Newton, NC store wouldn’t let me.  The CSL said one competitor coupon OR manf. coupon,  not both!   I guess I thought FL coupon would be considered “store”.  Am I not understanding their coupon policy?

      • Anonymous

If the Food Lion coupon was an actual “store” coupon, and not a mfr coupon with a FL logo, then yes, you are allowed to stack a FL store coupon with a mfr coupon.

      • Paige

I am in Statesville and they will not take any coupons for Food Lion unless they have a manufacturer’s coupon writing on them. I cannot use any coupons that say store coupon for Food Lion.  I don’t get it.  I can use a manufacturer’s coupon anywhere.  I have written to corporate and have yet to see a response.

        • Rlynn103

I finally got a manager from the Newton, NC BiLo to contact corporate, and they agreed that you CAN stack a competitor coupon with a manuf. coupon, as long as it doesn’t exceed the price of the item.  Corporate stated that it is totally up to the manager to decide which stores are considered competitors.  They are including stores within 5 miles.

    • Paseo paper towels 8 pack are $4.99 and the $1 off coupon makes it a great deal for 8 rolls.

      • Anonymous

There is also a store coupon from the Bi-Lo meat booklet, makes it $2.99 for the 8 pack :)

        • I don’t think it is a store coupon.  Mine is a manufacturers coupon.

          • Anonymous

The one I had said “store coupon” at the top. I made sure to check it before I used it.

          • Anonymous

Sorry, just realized it wasn’t in the meat booklet.  It was one of a few linked together that my MIL gave me. The rest expired 8/31 but this one doesn’t until 9/30. Maybe she got them in the mail? Darn, that ruins my plans to go get more! Sorry for the confusion!

    • Anonymous

Does anyone have any Kraft Velvetta dinner coupons $1.00 off that they are not gonna use i have a rain check because our store sold out and it has no limit on the raincheck,  Thanks i am willing to trade

    • Anonymous

jenny please put the publix cheerios coupon back up bi-lo is accepting it thanks

      • Yours may have excepted them, but it’s not correct.. Thats why she took it off. the coupon is for a different size then what is on sale..

        • Eric Evans

They took mine.  10 boxes for free.  $0.00 due.  Beautiful

          • like i said they may have not noticed and u just frauded the system, So now when Bi-Lo changes their policy back to NOT accepting other store coupon we have all the frauders to thank… They don’t get there money back on these people… only Manf. coupons do they get their money back…

            • Eric Evans

Mine was very clearly for the product on the coupon size and all.  They were on sale 2/4.  How was that Fraud???????

    • Eric Evans

They had no OJ on Sale for the Tropicana.  It was on sale actually 2 for $6.  Not $1.50 each.  Sadness:(

    • Anonymous

Got some good deals at BiLo tonight, especially using up Qs that expire today…but a couple deals will still work with competitors Qs this week:
      Kraft dressing 2/$4- use $1/2 Q with Target B2G1 Q= 3/$3, or $1 each
Butterball Turkey burgers B1G1- used Ingles $3 Qs (from register)= 1.99 each
My register total tonight, after sales, was $59- after Qs, it was $32! I was pretty happy… :)

    • PiperSimon

Bilo has Heinz ketchup in the 32 oz size for $1.68 each. It is on price lock until October 11. Public has the same size for $2. Bilo clearly has a great deal…I think. Jenny…did you know about this price and if so I was just wondering why it was left off the list.

    • Amie Totherow

So I went to the York, SC Bi-Lo tonight and took my email that showed the 2/$4 on the Tide.  The register does not ring it up correctly but the super nice store manager did an override.  I think there may have been a flaw in her math now that I look at my receipt but ended up getting 10 of the Tides for 11.70.  I did not use ANY coupons as I didn’t know if the deal would go through anyway.

    • ashley willis

At my store French’s Worcestershire sauce was on sale for 1.59 i believe and their was a 75 cent off coupon in the paper a couple weeks ago. So it would be 84 cents. If you store doubles to 98 cent it will only be 9 cents. I wondered why so many were gone, but i did’nt check my coupon binder for any coupons. I just had out the coupons i knew i wanted to use.

      • Guest

Is there a harris teter near you? if so, the 10 oz french’s worcestershire is on sale for 1.25, with the .75 cent coupon doubling it is free :)

    • Lanierlori

Theres a mistake on the juice, $1 off would make it 2.00

    • Aprilmangham

so i was told last night i was stealing from bilo and i owe them thousands of $ because i use coupons r u kidding me i was so mad i walked around the block 2 times to cool off still in a bad mood about it and i just want to walk in and kick him where it hurts he is a true butt head dont hate because i can do coupons and u cant!!!!!!!!!!

      • valerie

who told you this, an employee/manager or a customer?  tell ’em, you can hate the game… don’t hate the player :)

        • Aprilmangham

it was a manager he told a employee and she told me because she dont mind me comming she loves to ring me up to see how much i save and she also uses coupons but he told her she could not ring me up only a manager because i was stealing and he was tyred of it then he said u cant use too coupons on one item i said i can use one store and one man. q on the same item he said im gona have to call corporate on that because u cant do that i said u never had a problem before he just bit his lip and tossed my item down the belt to be put in bags he has been watching me like im doing something wrong and it makes me feel like crap!!!!! what should i do? i dont want to get her in trouble but i just hate feeling like this

          • Rebecca Eddy

April-I am sorry you had such a difficult time with the manager.  May I offer a bit of advice?  Don’t give it one more second of thought and call corporate right away.  Do not worry about the cashier in this instance.  She is doing her job-which is SERVING the consumer!  She obviously had a problem with the manager making such a nasty comment.  She chose to share the information with you for a reason.  While it is true the manager may have made a smart comment as a joke or maybe had a bad day, poor customer service is uncalled for and hurts Bi-Lo.  You have a reason to contact corporate.  Please feel empowered and stand up for the other consumers who may be subject to this manager’s treatment.  I assure you Bi-Lo is thankful for their customers and want to make the shopping experience pleasurable.  Please let us know who this pans out.

            • Aprilmangham

thank you i will be doing that he has always been nice to me and i have never had any problems with him ive been going to this bilo for 8 years and started couponing 2 years ago he has help out our childs bus driver last year when i told him that her child was killed in a car crash and has helpped the school out 2 times that i know of he seems like a good person so i think he may have had a bad day but i dont like what happend and i dont feel like i was done far thanks for ur comments i will try and let u know what happends thanks again

            • I saw on Channel 4 where a Kroger manager told a woman he would not take her coupons! She was furious, she took the video of him telling her on her phone and it was shown. I would have wanted to call corporate right there but the news was a good idea. They need to teach managers how we are actually making them money since they get paid for cashing in coupons!

            • judi

I would not tell corporate or the manager what the cashier told you.  She told you something she thought you would keep to yourself, and I feel like it would get her in trouble or make her life harder there.  She is your friendly cashier and we couponers need to support them when we can.  But you can talk about how the manager treated you and not get the cashier in trouble. Just my thoughts. HTH

            • Aprilmangham

i was thinking the same thing i dont want to get her in trouble and she is the best casher they have!!! i think im gona let it go for now if something else happends im gona go from there we will see how the next couple of weeks go thanks for your comments hope u have a good day

    • April Thompson26

My Bilo would not let me use coupons on the meal deal, does anyone else have that problem? And I never see where my coupons double but they always say they do it

      • valerie

no coupons are good with the meal deal… talk w/ a manager – they need to educate the cashiers on it.  Look at the bottom of your receipt… it will show the coupon savings in one place like .50 then a little further down you will see another .50 store savings.

    • Fkennedy614

Loving Bilos.  New at couponing and was not able to get great deals like everyone else was posting.  Until yesterday 8/31–Purchased 2-Kosher Dills, Bugles, 2-Pop Secret, Santitas chips, 2-Lays Chips, Tostitos Dip, 2-Kelloggs cererals (S-K), 2-oreos, 2-Marinades, Sandwich thins, Tortilla wraps, 4-Pils. rolls, 2-Kraft shred cheese, Crock butter, sour cream, 2-Klondike bars, bologna, cantaloupe & bananas. • feehan21

Has anyone had problems using target coupons at bi-lo. They told me they will not accept them. Than I called coorperate to see what was going on and they said they don’t accept any competitors coupons that are printed of the internet. Please help. And sorry for the miss spellings.

      • Mommaof1

I have used printable coupons from Target and Whole Foods without a problem.

        • JamieLeigh26

The BiLo off Lawyers Rd in Mint Hill, NC told me they take any kind of competitor coupons.  I’ve used Target coupons there with no problem.  The manager just has to key them in manually.

          • feehan21

So what should I do? My store is in Huntersville, NC?

      • Pamdcoupon

I used 2 Target coupons today with no problem.  The cashier entered them as vendor coupons.

Try going to the Smart Source site…put in the zip code there. When I used the link on this site, it kept changing the zip back when I’d click “next” to go thru the pages…hth

      Cherrios Dilemma,

Ok so the regular sized boxes are not on sale! BUY THE BIGGER BOXES! They are 4 dollars. Use (2)$2 off coupons, use your $1/off 2boxes ecoupon, and the $1/off2 Manufacterer coupon and they are STILL ONLY: ONE DOLLAR EACH :) FOR THE HUGE BOXES!! :) To me that is a great deal one dollar for the HUGE cheerios box!

      • Amoody1981

Sorry guys i meant to say the regular boxes are on sale, but the BIGGER boxes are not! Sorry!

      • Boys3insc

Can you use the publix store coupon and the bilo ecoupon that would be 2 store coupons for the same box of cereal.

    • Cheap Zyrtec! I had a $4 off 25ct or higher Zyrtec coupon from the magic coupon machine at CVS. I combined that with the $5 off man. coupon and got a bottle of 30 ct. Zyrtec for $6! Hope this helps someone else!

I also stumbled on one of those that ws left on a shelf but that’s not the new Bilo coup booklet is it?A friend said the Bilo in Easley SC had their boklets out but when I went to the Powdersville SC they didn’t have any.The last booklets were there for atleast 2 mnths when they came out.Does anyone know if they are just in some stores or are they suppose to already be out in all of them?

    • Clemson_JS

Has anyone been able to get a straight answer about which competitor coups the Clemson, SC Bi-Lo will take?  I’ve called 3 times and can’t get a straight answer, so I’ve been afraid to walk in with a stack of coups not knowing which answer is correct.  Last week I was told they will take all store coups.  Yesterday I was told it was all stores except Publix. Today I was told it was only stores in the Clemson zip code.

      • Anonymous

I have used Publix, Target and Walgrens coupons there.  I asked the little girl at the service desk and she said – all drug stores, Ingles, Publix and Target.  Oh, and I also used a coupon for Lowes on a large package of Bounty paper towels.  Michael and Joshua have both came to the register while I was using Publix coupons to show the cashiers how to key them in.  Take your stack of competitor coupons and go shopping.  HTH

        • Clemson_JS

Thanks Debko!  I’m going to head up there today!

Let me know how it goes.

Had a really exciting trip yesterday.  I got three packs of huggies slipons and two things of gushers for 5 dollars before tax!  I used three of the $3 man coups for huggies, 3 $3 publix in ad coups printed from publix’s website (I bought 27 packs so the coupon was for the the right size) and two publix yellow ad coups for the gushers with 50 cent of man.  I also had a piggly wiggly 5 off 25 that was stuck to the Thursday’s paper (The State).  Love this new competitor coupon idea! It’s so nice BiLo is moving forward when so many other companies are moving backwards when it comes to couponing.

      • Amy

I can’t find the huggies coupons on the publix site.  When did you print them?

Has the End Childhood Hunger campaign (or whatever the correct name is) ended?  I tried to enter the code in order to get Marie Calendar coupons and before I can type in the code, it flips to another screen that says something like thank you for helping to end childhood hunger.

      • Missy

        That program ran through 08/31/11.

Does anyone know if the Bilo in simpsonville, SC is taking comp coupons? I haven’t tried yet.

      • The one on Main st, and Hwy 14 does… If you have any trouble ask for Matt. He is the Manager and wonderful… Actually they are all great.. U shouldn’t have any trouble I confirmed it with the desk also

      • Trish

The one on Fairview Road also takes competitor coupons and has for quite a while.  They are very coupon friendly there.  It’s a great store.

    • Can you use the ecoupons from SavingStar along with other coupons?

      • Anonymous

Yes.  They will not come off your total bill but will build a credit on their site.  Once you get to five dollars, you can cash it in for a deposit in your bank account or an amazon giftcard.

    • Kim

I can’t find the .55 coupon for the Jimmy Dean sausage on that link. Is it hidden somewhere? Can someone help me? Thanks!

I just got word today that as of Sept. 7th, 11 Piggly Wiggly will begin doubling coupons up to .99 cents. Yah its about time

      • I’d like to know which Piggly Wiggly stores will be doubling up to .99. I’ll drive a few extra miles for that!

Hey, why isn’t Piggly Wiggly on the list of stores on this website anymore?

        • Karen

I always figured it was because they didn’t have very frequent good sales and they had a cruddy coupon policy. The one in our town has some grumpy/misinformed cashiers when you try to use more than a few coupons.

Piggly Wiggly is not on the list here because their sales and prices vary tremendously by region. They are the only grocery store in my town and their sales are mostly on store brand products. When they have name brands on sale, there are seldom coupon match-ups. Although, sometimes they do have decent meat sales. I tried doing the matchups on my blog a few times, but there was so little to post, that it really was not worth the time involved.

I am a cashier at Piggly Wiggly. I am pretty sure that it will be in effect for all Piggly Wiggly stores. You can only use 10 a day and only 4 of the same coupon. So if you use 11, it will just not be doubled. And you can not get overage on anything. So if you are buying a product for $.75 and have a coupon for $.50, it will only take off $.75. Also if you have a manufacturer coupon that states any other store’s name it will not be acepted. It is a very restrictive policy.

I’m sorry if this has been posted already but Bi-Lo will be running a 3 day ad Sun-Mon. It includes Dixie Crystal sugar-1.99, Oscar Mayer bologna-.99, and Tony’s pizzas-.99. Sorry if this has been posted but just wanted to share!

My BILO in Greenville SC says they will not accept Walgreens CVS or Target Q BC they are not “grocery” stores. Does any one else have this problem? Is there a corporate policy or do individual stores have the right to exclude some as a competitor? Thank You

      • Anonymous

Every store has their own competitors.

      • Which Bi-lo store in Greenville?

      • Michelledalton36

I’m also in Greenville SC and my Bilo takes all stores who sell groceries coups. As long as it’s a certain amt off like $1 off blank. They won’t take one that is 2/$5 ect.. I’d call corporate and ask because I read somewhere that it is not up to the indiviual mgr’s of the store.

I have a question that does not relate to bilo, but I did not know where to post. I can not use the coupon data base to look up coupons does anyone know why? Thanks

      • Anonymous

i have had problems recently. It will connect to southern savers; but not to the coupon database. Finally had to change search engine  from Internet 8 to Google Chrome to test whether this would help and it worked. I dont know what your particular problem is  but I think there are some glitches out there since the coupon database has changed on southern savers

I’ve noticed that most of the e-coupons say “No other coupon may be used with this coupon” when you click on See Details.  Also, they don’t double e-coupons and unless it is specified otherwise, they are only good on one item, so if you buy more than one, the others are full price.  I only use these when I need or want an item but don’t have any other coupons for it.

Check your catalinas, bilo gave me one for $3.00 off the turkey burgers, however when I went shopping they didnt even carry the turkey burgers that are on sale this week. I’m going to try another bilo today before the sale ends.

      • We had those for lunch yesterday, pretty good with grilled onions. I hope you find them!

Bilo has the Lance Cracker Creations on sale for $2.00, use the $1.00cp. Great price for after school snacks!

how can I get dixie crystal sugar coupons. Millie

    • Anybody know about the General Mills Box Tops bonus thing at Bi-Lo this week?  It says buy 5 participating General Mills products in 1 purchase and get 20 bonus box tops.  I have done it, and I have the receipts, but the receipts don’t say anything, the Box Tops for Education website doesn’t say anything, and Bi-Lo’s website doesn’t say anything.  Plus, I’ve discovered that Bi-Lo, or at least the location I shop at, has a bad habit of putting items that *aren’t* on sale above the tags identifying sales, so you think you’re grabbing the right item and find out it isn’t.

      • sha

your 20 bov tops print at the catalina machine…i made them redo my order yesterday to get this..the catalina was down on the register i checked out at.

Hi,I am working on a program for couponing and tracking savings on a store basis/ weekly basis/ monthly basis and year to date. You will be able to enter each item and corresponding q, it will figure your qs depending on qty bought and qty of Q’s with separate store Q’s and man Q’s, it will figure reward, value after rewards, savings, and goal OOP per transaction. Being able to log multiple transactions per trip or week. It will keep a item/q qty count, let u deduct rewards and oth discounts, it will figure ur overall q savings, reward savings, total value, total OOP, and your savings percentage and allow for entering your actual amounts from your receipt after the purchase so you can tell how much you are spending over your plan. It will have areas separate ares for: pharmacies, grocery stores, superstores, general stores, dept stores, hardware stores, dining, entertainment, services, and “other” store not listed. It will figure data and savings from all the above so you can see your savings on a long term view. What I need from you….. Is there any other features you would like to see on this program?I plan to have it finished within the next month or so. You can look for it under “sherriduncan76’s couponing and savings tracker”. I will be sure to post the info for it on all the main coupling sites. Thanks for any other ideas you have, and keep an eye out for it!
