    • Beth

Is anyone else getting a msg. about the print limit being reached on the Softsoap coupon?

      Thanks in advance.

      • Amanda

        I just printed one out.

      • Caity

        Just printed fine for me…

      • Betty

Yea, I got the same message and I've never even printed one!!

    • Nurs_mom

If you have the $3/2 Right guard q you can get them for free this week! Just got 4 for free.

      • guest

Where did the $3/2 q come from?

      • Lex

I went to Walgreens and got the 4 Right Guard TD5 B1G1 Free @3.99 each, ($7.98 savings on just d.o.) and used 2 coupons @ $3.00/2. Is the RGTD5 on sale too at Bi-Lo? My local ad (SC) says select varieties and shows the regular Right Guard saving up to $3.26 on 2 w/bonus card at 2/$3.00.

      • Nccouponmom

I am assuming this is a sale that's ending tonight?

        • Lex

Yes, ends tonight. (10/12) Price Lock Items are locked in for 8 weeks. Gain dish detergent is on the lock but have no idea when it ends. Guessing it is still going as it didn't state it was ending. Anyone else know? But Walgreens RGTD is good thru 10/16. :-)

    • amyl

Does anyone know when these price lock items go off sale? I forgot to check on my last shopping trip and was just wondering if anyone else remebered?

      • Mjsizzle

I think I remember them going until 11/3……..will double check in the morning when I make my first run of the week :)

        • Crazet

Ours have all different dates. Some were yesterday. Some 11/9 Some next week.

    • Asmyers01

Is the decaf. Tetley tea on sale for this price as well?

      • Guest

I don't know for sure, but normally decaf is more expensive and often excluded from sales. :(

      • Sweepinsc

24 Count Select Varieties (Excludes Decaf) Save 55¢ w/BONUSCARD

This is from the website. I use decaf as well.

    • Paige

There were also 75 cents off 2 coupons on the back of the Cinnabon cereal I purchased this week which will double for me :) making the Cinnabon pancakes 75 cents each!

    • Leahdpettit

I had a great trip to Bilo today thanks to the additional post! I loved getting the applesauce for $.04! It doesn't look like much this week, though. Thanks so much for all your hard work, Jenny! I would never have done this on my own!

      • Jogarrett63

I was excited as well about getting the applesauce. However, my friend went this evening to the Bi-Lo at Verdae in Greenville, SC only to find a man with a shopping cart full of applesause, and parmesan cheese. She said he had a stack of coupons 6 inches thick and assured me she this was no exaggeration.

She said the only reason why she was able to grab two was that he got a call on his cell phone and got distracted. He had every intention of getting it all. I know that some here will think its OK, but I don't think it is. I would almost bet he will be selling it Wednesday or Sunday at the flea market.

        • Nccouponmom

You're right. It's not okay. It just common courtesy to leave some for others.

          • Mum2grlz

And what I try to remind myself if I miss a sale or a coupon–there will always be other good deals.

        • Guest

Well, at least the guy had the common courtesy to wait until the last day of the sale. I agree it stinks when 1 person gets everything and others are left wanting, but we do all have the freedom and ability to request a raincheck, too. And if he is smart enough to get stuff for next to nothing and then sell it to make ends meet, well then more power to him. We're in a capitalist society with a free market, and he's using the resources that he has available to him. Yes, it's sad when someone misses out on the deal, but once again A) it's the last day of the sale, so at least he waited and B) anyone and everyone can get a raincheck and come back to use it when they re-stock.

          • Donna

It's not really OK to do that, honestly – it's greedy and not good for any of us couponers since that's the kind of behavior that causes stores to put limits on quantities. For those who just want 2 or 3 or a small, reasonable quantity, that kind of behavior will end up hurting us all in the end if quantity limits are imposed! Just my opinion, of course.

            • Windowdresses

My local store was out of the cheese but the manager made a substitution and took the coupon to boot!

            • Freedomspradley1

If the stores end up putting limits on items it shouldn't be a bother for those only getting 2 or 3 of each product with coupons because I couldn't imagine the limit would be less than that so you would not be impacted. The only people who would be “hurt” by the limits are those who buy massive amounts using coupons. The limits would also “hurt” the store because it would also limit purchases by people who don't use coupons which I bet is the vast majority of their shoppers.

          • Leistend

I agree with you but looks like we are in the minority but that's ok. I stockpile like that but donate all of my extras to a food pantry. When you see someone stockpiling don't assume they are selling it at the flea market. I agree that is what rainchecks are for.

Bi-lo this week bogo for 3.81. I got 4 yesterday!

        • RebeccaFer

I agree with you that it wasn't right. I would have been so brazen as to interrupt his phone call and ask if he was giving it to a food pantry. I'm sure he would have been sputtering or at the very least saying yes. If he said yes and it was true then good for him but if he not, shame, shame, shame. I do hope your friend got a raincheck! I'm mad at myself because this was something I really, really wanted to get and I totally forgot about! Ughhhh!

        • Where did he get so many coupons just 2 days after they came out. I would not think that there would have been time for him to order them.

          • Jogarrett63

I have no clue, unless they were able to order from a clipping service, or have some way of purchasing leftover papers. Maybe they have a paper route. Who knows.

            • I normally buy the Greenville News in the Clinton, SC area. On many occasions, I have not been able to find a paper that had all of the inserts. It just makes me wonder.

            • momto2boys

Maybe that's where all the missing coupons are……hmmmmmm?

        • Gophersavingcash

If the stores put in a policy limiting the number you could buy PER DAY, at least you would make it a little more difficult for these fiends to operate. And although I can't stand big government, there should be some legislative guidelines on selling food products at flea markets. Make them buy the business license and submit quarterly sales tax just like the stores. If they want to go into the grocery business, that's fine. Do it the right way and not on the backs of Bi-Lo or consumers who are trying to save money so we can put food on the table.

          • Jogarrett63

I agree with having some sort of policy limiting the number you can purchase PER DAY. Bi-Lo for the most part is very flexible and rarely do I have any trouble shopping there. I would hate for them to implement a policy like Ingle's.

            I

        • pennywiseinasheville

I agree 10 times over. We have a pretty good sized Flea Maket near Asheville, and I was there a couple weeks ago and there were 4 or 5 women there with tables full of stuff from coupon specials, I told my husband that I could pretty much tell which store and which deals they were from. I'm all for making money and all about saving money and buying surplus, because I love to donate my surplus, but for Heaves Sake, leave some for the rest of us. This is why I don't get in a big hurry to go shopping on Sunday or Wednesday mornings, because I know most of the shelves will be empty and I can still get RC's.

      The Meal Deal:
I find it disconcerting that pizza, soda, cheese knots, pie and ice cream can be considered a meal. I wish they would include a bag of salad then at least there would be some nutritional value.
      Yikes!

      • lmiller

I thought the exact same thing erins_deals!

      • Morgan

I think the same thing! Additionally it would be nice to have something like juice instead of soda…

    • Nccouponmom

Are you kidding me? In looking for coupons for the Keebler Cookies/Fuel Perks Deal, I found SEVERAL in my collection for the items being featured that expired SUNDAY!!! AARRGGHHH!!!

      • Freedomspradley1

Some stores take expired coupons if they are within a couple weeks of expiration. You should check with your store before tossing the expired coupons.

What's with the Red Baron coupon? I've been trying to find it on that site for 2 weeks and all I get is that silly game!

      • Courtney

i cant find it either :(

      • Crazet

        I can't find it either.

      • Mommy2hayden2006

Check at a local Family Dollar. I found a tear pad on the freezer door for .55/1 off ANY Red Baron and they are good until 3/2011. :)

    • Paige

Sometimes my ad seems the same, but this week I am definitely seeing a variation to the ad. My ad has some additional items in the 20 cent fuel perk promo. Heinz Ketchup (20-24 oz) for 1.97 and I know we just got a 75 cent Q for that, Ball Park Original Franks 2/$5., Bush's Baked Beans or Grillin Beans $1.79, Duncan Hines Family style Brownie 4/$5, and Vlasic Dill Spears 2.19.

    • darissa

I left a message yesterday about this great site and the nearly $100.00 savings on my first shopping trip after using all the tools here….The only comment I wanted to add is….since that was my first time printing coupons online I didn't know that they print automatically…..so I checked coupons that were .50 cents thinking they would be doubled….when they printed they said “no doubling” I was disappointed that I had used my ink (which is not cheap) to print these….maybe you could let others know they will not be doubled…..or maybe it's here and I missed it…Thanks again for all your hard work!

      • Dianna

A lot of coupons say “no doubling” but the stores don't pay any attention and they double them. I have been couponing for almost 2 years and have never had a problem with a $.50 or under coupon not doubling, even when it says “no doubling or tripling” on the coupon.

        • Mommy2hayden2006

My experience on doubling is this…it doesn't depend on the store but on the cashier. Some cashiers at my local BiLo will supress the doubling and others won't. It's very frustrating. I don't understand why mfrs care if the store doubles them, the store eats that cost and no more money out of the mfr's pocket.

        • Leistend

Publix in Anderson, SC also suppresses mine if they say DND. It's the only store I know that does it.

      • Wmllewis

I have never had a coupon that starts with a “5” not double, even when they say DO NOT DOUBLE. Hope you find that to be the case at your store. :)

      • Nonniemonroe1

im glad you saved some money..please dont throw away your coupons just because they say DND…if the number begins with a “5'' it will double…nationwide….its in the programs…i have NEVER had one not to work…………good luck…this site is the BEST…

    • CCShad

Check your local ads, b/c mine has more sales: Pick 5 for $19.99 includes some meats and seafood, and then Pick 4 for $9.99 includes certain produce items. Also a spectacular wine sale. These all are good from 10/13 to 10/19 at my store in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Thanks, I asked the rep at my Bi-Lo if they were doing the fuelperks and she just looked and me all dumb. So I said, “ok, I guess not, thanks.”

        Thanks for sharing this!!

hi! thank you so much for all you do for us “thrifty moms”. in the bi-lo ad this week (10/13) the fuel perks promotion 1 has heinz ketchup (20-24oz) for $1.97. there is a 75cent coupon that expires on 10/31 (not sure which ad it came from) making the ketchup $.47.

Don't know about your local Bi-Lo, but most do not double any coupons over $0.60.

        • Guest

a lot of Bi-Lo stores actually double up to 99cents in order to compete with area Harris Teeters.

    • guy

new to couponing! when I double coupons is that literally two of the exact same coupons (printed from the same website) for one purchased item?

      • slocklair

Welcome to couponing!!! I'm just learning too but I know that you cannot use two of the same coupons for one purchased item. It's actually the store that doubles the value of the coupon up to a certain value…For example if the store you are shopping at doubles coupons up to .60 and you have a .60 coupon, that coupon at that store is now worth $1.20 off of that one item. Great isn't it? This is a great site and has a ton of info in the Learn to coupon section at the top of the site!!!

    • Caniac

Bi-Lo blows! We ordered a birthday cake for our daughters 5th birthday 4 days in advance. We stopped to pick-up the cake on the way to the party location. At first they couldn't find the cake, then they had the audacity to tell my wife that she didn't order the cake. Needless to say a disaster in the making. Thank God for the bakery at Wal-Mart. They had some pre-made cakes that came close to what we wanted. I sent a scathing e-mail to the Bi-Lo corp, and basically, have not received much of a apology. I will never spend another dime at Bi-Lo. Unless they're giving their crap away, they've lost a customer for life!

      • momto2boys

I'm sorry that happened to you :(. Incidentally the same thing has happened to me at Sam's….twice. Needless to say I will never get a cake there again. The lady wrote on the order “for next saturday” but failed to write in a date….soooo instead of calling to confirm date for pickup, they just didn't make it at all, so they had to run around like nuts and make me a cake. I'm not sure why they didn't make it the second time, very poor customer service.

    • Janet

Where do you find the price lock prices that are listed on your site? I've tried two weeks in a row to get the 24 count Nestle Pure Life water and the customer service rep at my store said they were not on sale for $3.48. I also checked the Bi-Lo site and could not find it listed. Thank you for your time.

Went shopping last night and bought 1 Cinnamon toast crunch B1G1 @ 1.60 minus $0.55 coupon and 1 Reese Puff B1G1 @ 1.85 minus $0.55 coupon. I got a Catalina for $1.50 off 3 General Mills. I'm going back today to buy 3 boxes of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, use the Catalina and 3 $0.55 coupons, and pay $0.09 OOP!!!! Great to donate =D

      • Guest

That catalina coupon is a manufacturer's coupon, which sadly means that you are not allowed to 'stack' it with the 0.55 coupons since those are manufacturer's coupons as well.

        • Drseusnc

thanks for letting me know before i got into an argument. thought it was store coupon. still a great deal with the $0.55 coupon, and still a good thing to donate!

It doesn't look like the Yoplait smoothies are for sale. Could this be regional? I love these and would have loved to get them for free!!

      • Guest

It's the refridgerated ones (by the yogurt), not the frozen ones. I hope that helped.

        • Guest

          Thanks!!

      • Cheryl

i was so bummed that it was the fridge ones, i had 3 coupons for the other smoothies. oh well, maybe they'll go on sale another week! :)

    • Mdavis1205

I was in Bi-Lo last night shoppping, upon check out the manager told me they no longer accept coupons from smartsource. She accepted mine last night because she knew I frequented the store often. Has anyone else been told this?

      • Drseusnc

i haven't had a problem yet. however, i hope they won't change at Cedar Springs in Spartanburg. I recently started shopping at Bi-Lo and have been thrilled with the bargains, but i won't go somewhere that restricts coupons (the reason why I go to Ingles once in a blue moon)

      • momto2boys

Smartsource printables?? Mine were taken today without trouble…she sounds like she's confused.

    • Ann

Referring to the no limit on coupon purchases…..My Bilo limits coupon purchases to 10, using the same coupon, in one shopping trip.

      • Guest

the corporate policy does not limit it to 10 like coupons, they only limit it to doubling of 10 like coupons. You can use as many as you like but beginning at like coupon number 11, they are only redeemed at face value.

    • Ann

By the way, I can't find the Red Barron coupon either….

    • Ann

I had a great trip to Bilo this week too…..Total before sales and coupons $144.00 total after sales and coupons $77.00!!!!! Almost half off! Love the pick 5 and pick 4 sales….Got 3 bags of Salmon Filets, 1 bag of flounder and 1 box of fish sticks for $19.99. Got 2 bags of russet potatoes, 1 large bag of carrots and a bag of onions for $9.99…I may go back before the sale ends and get more fish…. This fish is normally $7.99-$8.99 a bag……… My final total might have been better but there were some things I had to have that weren't on sale and I didn't have a coupon for it. I usually don't buy it if it's not on sale or if I have no coupon but it just worked out that I needed these things this week….

At my store in Chester the Marcel facial tissues aren't on sale any more…

    • I found Mint Moon Pies in a clearance bin for $1.14, which ended up costing me $.04 per box after my $.55 coupon (from recent Sunday paper insert) doubled to $1.10.

I had a nice shopping trip to a Bi-Lo I am not familiar with this evening.

I somehow got 4C grated cheese on my Bi-Lo list for this week. Was this originally on here and removed? I haven't figured that one out yet. But, in talking with the stock manager I found out that 4C cheese is one of their hardest items to sale. He said the cheese gets old and dark colored. He personally sends it back when this happens, but I am wondering how many of us buy it marked down not knowing it is actually too old to be safe. He said it is a fresh product and should really be stored in refrigeration. Just a heads up to all to be careful.

    • trish

Does anyone know Bi-Lo's policy about returning items that were purchased with coupons? I've been couponing nearly a year, and this is the first time I've ever had to do it. I've been having trouble with my knees, so last night I bought two Futuro knee braces with $3 off coupons. When I got them home, I tried one on, and I hated it (too bulky, itchy, kept slipping off my knee area). I went back today to return them. I felt like I should be honest, so I told them I'd used coupons, and I said I'd understand if they couldn't give my coupon back and had to give me store credit. The person at the customer service counter conferred w/ someone else who I assume was a manager, and said they'd only give me the purchase price minus the coupon value, so I'd be losing the $6 value of the coupons. And the store would be making money products they didn't sell, which I thought was illegal. I ended up keeping the products and called Bi-Lo corporate customer service when I got home. The lady said she'll forward the issue to upper management and someone will get back to me in a day or two. So I guess I'll get my answer eventually, but I wondered if anyone knew Bi-Lo's policy, and I also just wanted to vent. That'll teach me to be honest; I guess I should have just let her give me the entire price back and kept my mouth shut about the coupons!

      • tambry

They should give you the FULL price back unless they want to dig out the coupon from the register. The store will be getting the money back on the coupon. I had the same thing happen at target with coffee a while ago and the lady wouldn't give me back my coupon just a full refund, which was more than I paid.

      • trish

FYI…The store manager called me back and said the cashiers were just following the regular policy “no cash back for coupons,” which, in general, is correct. He said they rarely have anyone return items bought with coupons, so they just didn't know any better (I'm sure it happens more than they realize; most customers probably don't call attention to it!). He said since they no longer had my original coupons, he'd be glad to give me cash back for the entire purchase price. Here's the kicker…since they had been on sale for $2 off each, but the sale was now over, when the cashier scanned the items, he ended up giving me back an extra $4. I even pointed it out to the manager, but extra money. Well, I guess BiLo has successfully retained me as a customer! : )

        • trish

Oops, something got deleted when I posted. That should say that the manager said it would all work out in the inventory, so I should keep the extra money!

    • Nwjohnson

I do not understand the price lock deals. Can someone explain? I went to Bi-Lo expecting the cost to be as posted in price lock deals but it did not ring up this way and after talking to the manager they said it was not in the ad paper so they would not honor it. What gives?
