looks like i will be buying a few papers this sunday so i can get the bonus fuel perks!! everything counts these days!

      • Nichole

How do the fuel perks work? I have like $3.15 in fuel perks. i have never used them.

        • Holly

WHAT!!?? It's the best thing!! You have to go to a participating gas station. They usually have the instructions posted for you. You scan your bi-lo card and it will take off the amount in fuel perks off. I think you'll end up losing some since gas isn't that high, but maybe it will carry over. For example though, gas is 2.70 and you have 2.40 in fuel perks, you would scan your bi lo card first and watch the amount per gallon on the pump drop to .30. Then scan your debit card. You get the discount for a max of 20 gallons. You would leave paying 6.00 for 20 gallons of gas!!

The Bi-Lo fuelperks website does say that fuelperks OVER the price of gas WILL carry over. So Nichole should be able to get 20 gallons of FREE gas, and still have around .45 per gallon to carry over depending on the price her local station charges.

      • Christa

What is bonus fuel perks? Thanks

    • RebeccaFer

      Thanks for the list Jenny!

I am so happy to say I talked to my favorite cashier at my favorite Bi-Lo and they had a big meeting where they were told Bi-Lo is now out of bankruptcy! YEAH!!!! I really hated the idea that I could lose Bi-Lo where I have found so many awesome deals and come to know some great people working there. Now, after finding that out, I also found out that the only people who have been filling out the surveys must be those who had bad experiences. I say this because they were told they have some of the lowest scores through their surveys.

I'm asking those of you who may shop at the Bi-Lo in Charlotte on Prosperity Church Road to take a moment and fill out your survey at the bottom of your receipt. You can do it online and you will be rewarded with a free item coupon once you've filled it out.

That store is awesome for so many reasons but here's a great one, they take Walgreen's Register Rewards! Not only that but if it just recently expired (less then a week before) you can talk to Jonny at CS and she'll most likely allow you to use it still!!!!

They are happy to order anything they are out of for you. They will happily give you a RC for anything they are out of too. And they are happy to give donations to worthy causes if you bring in a letter on official letterhead requesting donations.

Not only that but they are going to be working on getting new registers that will be able to ring up faster as well as some of the cute shopping carts for the kiddos! OK, you already know this as well but they have Fuel Perks going on and the BP on the corner of Ridge & Prosperity uses the program too so you don't have far to drive to save on gas!

Please shop there and please share your (hopefully) awesome experience there. I really would hate to find that they close this Bi-Lo because I wouldn't only miss the deals there, I'd miss the friends I've made who happen to work there too! They are definitely worth saving! :D

      • Tzchaika

I haven't shopped at that BiLo, but the one in Stanley (Gaston county) is also wonderful- the people are the BEST! and really sweet. Very patient with all my coupons and my two little girls love them because they treat children well too. They are also really good about issuing Rain Checks, and honoring them. I haven't noticed a survey on the receipts but will start looking- because they deserve to get credit for the great job they do!

        • RebeccaFer

That's great! I think some stores don't bring it to the attention of the customers that there are surveys so only those who complain look for a way to tell corporate. It's sad when a good store doesn't get recognition for a job well done. I'm sure your store will appreciate it very much too. :D

    • Meme

Jenny, I wanted to point out that I received my free sample packet today from Kraft foods. They had a coupon (several actually) that is a rebate form. It says you can also go online to get the rebate form http://www.web-rebates.com/kraft The rebate dates start 5/23/10 so if you want to wait to buy the Kraft items at Bi-Lo this is a heads up on that.
Have to buy $30 worth of Kraft items (many to choose from) and get $10 rebate. Items do not have to purchased all at one time.

      • Melissa

I am excited about this – thanks for the reminder to pull out that rebate form and start on it when I shop on Monday

    • DuncanMomof2

I am so excited about the extra fuel perks this week. I plan to buy 3 Starbucks Frappuccino in 1 transaction (a treat for myself) & 3 packs of the Frito Lay Snacks, 20-22 ct in my second transaction. When I leave the store I will have $2.15 total in fuelperks. When are leaving for Walt Disney World in June & my goal is to have at least $2.60 in fuelperks when we can fill up for free before we go. The Frito Lays snacks are a plus b/c I can take them on the trip with us & use them for snacks. Next week I'll buy 3 Ragu's & that will bring me up to $2.25. I LOVE FREE GAS!!!

      • Christy

It says Limit one PER DAY. So, I think even if you do two separate transactions You can only earn the fuel perks once. I'd maybe do one each day.

        • Amanda

Can you get both the 10c and the 20c reward together in one transaction, or is it one or the other per transaction? I hope my question makes sense.

          • DuncanMomof2

I went to Bi Lo today & was able to get (2) 20 cent rewards in 2 different transactions. I bought 3 of the Frito chips in 1 transaction & (2) starbucks and 1 frito bag of chips in the second transaction. I left the store today with $2.20 in fuelperks. I will do the Ragu deal next week before the sale ends & that will bring me to $2.30 in fuelperks. The answer to your question is yes if you do them in separate transactions.

            • Amanda

I do not want 2 of the 20c or 2 of the 10c. I want one of each. Can I get one of each in one transaction is my question.

            • Amber

Yes, you can do the 10 and 20 in one transaction.

        • DuncanMomof2

Thanks for the heads up Christy. I went to Bi Lo today & it is a limit of 1 per transaction not per day. I just did 2 separate transactions & got the rewards that way but thanks for the heads up. I appreciate it.

      • angeljoy

It never occurred to me to do separate transactions. I always have my “big haul” up there and am just trying to get through! Thanks for the tip!

      • Christa

Is there a maximum amount as to how much you can earn in fuel perks?

    • pureromancebychriste

      Does Bi-Lo take Publix Coupons

      • I have not heard of BiLo accepting competitor's Q's- but, who knows, maybe, like Food Lion in Atlanta, they will catch on!

      • DonnaTN

Some areas do accept competitor coupons but only 3 per day or it may or it may be per transaction.

      • andy

BiLo in Hixson takes up to 3 competitor coupons. I was just there yesterday and I asked. They also told me they accept Target coupons which I used for the Cottonelle; and I was able to use the manf. q also.

      • Mandy

i dont think any of them do. the only one i know for sure doesnt is the one in West Columbia. Something about we dont get paid for it if its from a competitor

      • Valerie

The Bi-Lo in Mauldin, SC does accept Publix coupons even though they don't get reimbursed!

    • Karen

Does anyone know if you can submit for the Activia Challenge more than one time ? This is at least the third one they have had this offer and they have all had different P.O. boxes for each expiration date. Thanks

      7/20 – 11/15 2009 … PO box 2064
      12/15/09 – 3/31/10 …PO box 7008
      4/15- 8/31 2010 …..PO box 1070

    • Christy

Anyone who shops the Moncks Corner,SC Bilo….Don't go to a cashier names Judy, older lady with white hair. She is very rude and doesn't know how to interpret coupon wording. I don't have a problem with not knowing about coupons, but the rude part….not cool. I love my Bilo and have never been treated bad by anyone else, so if you avoid her, you should have a nice shopping experience.

      • sc couponer

I know exactly who you are talking about! I avoid her like the plague. The management there is totally coupon friendly, though, they are wonderful!

      • SB

I had the same experience. But all the other cashiers are excellent and try hard to please the customers. It's a great place to shop.

        • lacey

yeah, i love the moncks corner bilo! The manager, CS, and cashiers are great. I used to go to the one in goose creek but after two trips with coupons and the cashiers being rude, not scanning coupons, telling me I couldn't use them, etc, I said I would never go to a bilo again. I went to the one in moncks corner on a particularly good sale week to try it out and I was thrilled! now i go there just about every week.

i dont know the old cashier mentioned, but i do appreciate the heads up!

    • georgiamom

Just a reminder that this week is the last week on the price lock items. I am now fully stocked on Dawn dishwashing liquid, Puffs tissue & Snuggle fabric softner sheets! All FREE! Yipee!

      • mamacocoabean2u

Hi how did you get the tissues free please share thanks

        • DonnaTN

Vocalpoint had coupons sent to members of friends for .50 so I'm guessing that's how she got them free, as I did this deal too. As for the dawn…I've only had .25 for the regular dawn so making them .50 still not a bad deal for the reg size. Those are from the Home made simple booklets. There were .50 q's out in the papers before, not sure when sorry.

      • Nancy

Georgiamom….I can't find any of these q's and I am a veteren at this game! can you offer me any help? Thanks, nancy

    • L Williams

I have a mentos .55 Q that xpires the end of this month, but I cannot figure which SS I cut it from. They are on sale this week 4/$5. Does anyone have any info on which SS this came from?

      • Chrissy

They are in Smart Source 2/21/10 and Smart Source 4/25/10

    • Nancy

I don't think the Ragu Q is going to work…it is for a 2lb plus size. PLEASE correct me if I am wrong..I already ordered my q's :(sad)!

      • Mandy

as long as the last 4 or 5 numbers of the coupon and the item match, it should work.

      • mzperk

The .60 Ragu coupon is for the larger size jar (45 oz I think) but there is one in the same packet for $1.25/3. You can use that and get the .10 fuelperks.

    • Supermombeaufort

I have some Nature's Own 75 cents off Premium Specialty Bread that was an insert in my last weeks Sunday paper. I wonder if these will work with the bread that is on sale? Did anyone else find these coupons?

      • Chrissy

I had them as well and used them yesterday – worked fine for me!

      • mandy

Compare the last 4 or 5 numbers on your coupon and with the bread, if they match, then they coupon will work!

    • Amber

Don't forget that you can earn 10 cent fuel perks by ordering a bakery cake ($14.99 or higher). :)

    • kayse smith

My Bilo in Statesboro GA has marked down the Pantene shampoo/cond …. I got both for under $5.00 then used a $1.00 off coupon. Nice deal!!

    • angeljoy

      ConAgra's 1.50/4 coupon offer has expired. :(

      • DonnaTN

Bi-lo will usually take an expired coupon up to a certain time if you ask yours to see. HTH

        • angeljoy

I should have been more specific. The printable ConAgra coupon for !.50/4 is no longer available. When you click the link it says the offer has expired.

    • Heidi

      Any suggestions …..

Purex Liquid Laundry Detergent printables will not print – says I have already printed my maximum number of coupons – I havent printed the first one at all – gives me the same message – regardless of what computer I am attempting to print from – and I have about 12 work computers that I have tried to print from …….. any ideas?

      • DonnaTN

They say that when the print limit is reached.

    • stacey

I just want to say that the Bilo in Black Mountain, NC is the best grocery store ever, and this is coming from where Ingles is headquartered, Ingles is awful and is very picky about what coupons they take, the cashiers and managers really seem to enjoy how much I can save with coupons and will take all of my coupons.

    • stevemurph

On the fuel perks 10 or 20 cents, does it mean you have to buy three different items from the list or could you buy 3 of the same, say 3 jars of Ragu?

      • Trish

I did this twice yesterday and you can buy multiples of one item!

        • stevemurph

          Thanks!

    • sew

How do you know what is a P&G brand, is there a list somewhere.

      • Janice

If you use the link to find more info on the P&G rebate, when you get to the P&G site, there is a tab that list all their brands. HTH

    • Amy Edwards

Just so you know – navel oranges at Bi-lo are $0.69 each, not $0.69/lb. I went to get some last week and was disappointed to realize it was more than I was expecting it to be :(

    • fullhouse

I would like to know if anyone has had the Breyer's catalina print at bi-lo, I went to day and it didn't print, and the manager had not heard of this deal either. Is there a way to find out for sure if my purchase qualified for the catalina?

      • Amanda

i just wanted to say i didn't get one either :-( in Simpsonville

    • Melissa

Looking like a good week for groceries and Fuel Perks! Also, that Kraft rebate has a few things that qualify. Thanks Jenny!

    • mommie52906

I went to the Bi-Lo in Pelzer, SC, today and the Lawry’s Marinade is $2.65 instead of $2.88. As a BOGOF they are $1.32 each plus each bottle has a $1.00 off q attached!! I got 2 bottles for .64 cents!!!

    • Coupon in SS 5/23 for Margaret Holmes for .35 would make them .28 a can….. Also RP Ragu coupon is .60/2…

      • mzperk

My Ragu coupon is .60 for the larger size jar, not the size that's on sale. But there is one for $1.25/3 which would get you the .10 off on the gas.

    • stevemurph

SH eggs were .74/doz limit 5 doz today at Bi-Lo in Summerville SC

    • dana

      Hey ladies…
I was wondering.. Is the ad the same in the lower part of the state as it is in the Upstate? We are going to Myrtle Beach next Sunday and I will need to pick up some stuff for the condo. Thought maybe I could have my q's together before I get there since I will be unable to print any. Thanks so much for any responses!

    • mzperk

For the B1G1 M&M's, there is a .75/2 coupon in the 5/23 redplum so you can get two king size packs of M&M's for $0.44!

    • Nicole

I'm having trouble with the tearpads and pullable coupons. I can never find them. Sometimes I do & they're empty. Most of the time I just can't find them at any store. Any advice?

    • Valerie

The Bi-Lo in Mauldin, SC does accept Publix coupons even though they don't get reimbursed!
