      and i got a 5 off 30 in the e-mail!!

      • Anonymous

5 off 25 here.  Gotta use on Sunday tho.

        • Amandar787

new to all of this but how did you get the coupons for 5 off 25?

          • Anonymous

Make sure you sign up for emails from CVS.  They will randomly email you coupons.  Some folks get lucky and get them often while others do not.  I got them evey week for a while now all I get are online only offers from them,.

      • Anonymous

me too!! i love these coupons and have been getting them ALL the time!

The Lysol no touch coupon, it’s only showing me a .75 off not a 3.00?

    • Crafty_cat_86

Good week to be a chick.  FYI, that Huggies deal is good, but the next week there’s a 10 ECBs wys $25 that includes Huggies jumbo packs for $9 ea. plus formula, food, etc.. I’m stocked from cheap slip-ons, so I’m saving my q’s from Sunday’s paper for next week.

      • Amy

Get rainchecks this week and use it that week. That way you are paying 7.99 for the diapers.

        • chance83

That is a great idea but will you still get the $10 ECB back?

          • Guest

The $10 ecb will print automatically next week, but they might refuse to give you the $1 ecb from the raincheck since it would overlap with a current deal.

    • Stacyannw

I am prettty sure that the i wick i motion kit is not on sale for 499 its the refills and the 4 dollar off q is for the kit not the refill, so i don’t think that transaction 3 will work

      • laura

It does say kit in the ad. It says i-motion refill 0.8 oz or kit

        • Amandar787

where you able to print the 3.00 coupon? When I went to the site only the .75 was available.

          • laura

I’m not sure what $3.00 coupon you’re talking about. I’m going to use the $4 coupons from this Sunday’s paper for the I-motion’s.

      • Elisa

the coupon is for the freshmatic ultra or freshmatic compact ……not the i motion….two totally different products.

      • laura

$4 off Airwick Ultra Freshmatic Reg or Compact kit is going to be in this week’s paper that’ll work with it.

i can’t believe this ,I just got a $829.99 iPad2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HDTV for only $251.92, they are both coming with USPS tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prices at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HDTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for. I use http://xub.me/ab

    • Anonymous

Looks like it will be a great week at CVS! I just hope they have everything in stock!

    • Glidinggirls

They NEVER send me any coupons in e-mail-just the purchase online ones. I’ve updated my e-mail and everything but still…..

      • Dix

Me, neither.  It’s been many months, probably a year or two, since I’ve had any email ones.  I did, however, get the $10/50 ones a while back from the red machine.

    • I need help on something so here is my ? …. Just got my 5 off 25 this is what I am wanting to do ….

My total after all my Manufacture Q’s is about $27 and then I was going to use a 10 ECB to help bring the total down to about 17 is that going to not let me use the 5 off 25 then?

      • Anonymous

Last wk i sent my $4 off $20 coupon to my card and it took it off before coupons.

        • HOPEFULLY this happens because then it will BE A SUPER AMAZING DAY FOR ME!!

          • Krista

You’ll want to hand them your $$ off purchase Q before you give them your other Qs and it will be fine!

            • Well the reason I am really wondering is because it was sent to my card so I am assuming since its on there it will come off as soon as I hit 25 way before I have even had time to give them my coupons … AM I RIGHT!?

            • They should scan your card first.

            • Anonymous

That’s how it worked for me! Before I handed her my coupons I looked on the screen and it had taken the $4 off. I’m always iffy about coupons on my card, but so far they’ve worked at cvs!

        • I went into cvs and went to the red machine and it printed me off a coupon for 4 off 20. Well, I guess what happened, which I didnt know was supposed to, was when she finished it automatically took the 4 off and so when I handed her my coupon she took another 4 off!! I wasnt trying to get a free 4 dollars but I think I did lol!

      • Anonymous

just give them your 5 off 25 first

      • Nancy

yes just make sure to hand over the $5 off $25 first.

    • Calgontma

ok, the talking hand on the summer’s eve site was disturbing.  Granted I didn’t have the sound on.  And thank goodness my sons weren’t reading over my shoulder like they have a tendency to do! lol

      • Anonymous

I DID have the sound on and could not hit the mute button any faster!  HA!

        • LOL  Funny you mentioned that.  I had to race for the mute button too.  lol

      • Libbyferris31

Right?  I was embarassed reading the page without anyone reading over my shoulder too.  Is that really necessary :P

      • Anonymous

Had to check that out after your post. Good grief!! What were their marketing guys (oh, maybe that’s the problem..) thinking?!

      • nancy

OMG my husband walked in as I was printing the coupon and he flipped out, that what was I doing on the internet and blaw blaw blaw. BEWARE when printing Summer’s eve  coupon

    • Nonnalene

the coupons i have for the peanut butter say redeem at walmart…is that the only place i can redeem them?
      ?

      • I think you can use them anywhere unless they say “Redeem ONLY at Walmart”

    • Woohoo!!   Awesome ad.  This CVS Queen is stoked!!! :)

I think on your deal idea of the puppy chow, you meant to say buy 4 not 2.

    • Guisler

Is anyone having trouble getting the .75 Softsoap Body Wash printable?

      • Anonymous

yes, it said it printed, but it never did..

      • swirlypop

It printed for me.  Let me print twice.

    • Amber

      My plan:

T1: Rephresh tampons, softsoap – 8.03 OOP, 8.79 ECB back.
      T2: 2 packs of bounty papertowels – $26 – 8.79 ECB from T1, $5 off Q from email = 12.21 OOP, 10 ECB back.

This is a great deal…BUT…it makes me nervous having 10 ECB left over. What if the next couple of ads aren’t that great? Then I’ll have nothing good to use it on.

Well played, CVS marketing people…well played.

      • If I wind up with left over ECB and no good ad, I go to CVS and buy something like toilet paper or something that does not go on sale, just to use them.

      • Anonymous

Amber, I always worry about this to so go to Iheartcvs and check out next weeks ad.  Sometimes there is even 2 ads ahead.

      • Gilpritchett

Keep in the back of your mind you can always get food items you’d not normally find Q’s for when you need to use a big ECB.

      • Brooke

Had that happen to me I had 26 dollars ecb and the ads the past two weeks were awful so I had to go spend them before they expired now I have none!

      • wendyc33

you  could get the 10 ecb and go back and get other items, like the allergy reflief tablets,  aspirin, softsoap whatever etc. use your 10 ecb to pay, and get back smaller amount ecbs.

      • Firstbrownie

My CVS takes my ECB an extra 30 days past expiration, so that helps a lot. It doesn’t hurt to ask your store if they do the same!

    • Sue

Why does it list separate transactions? Do I have to go to the counter on separate trips to ring these items up, or all in one purchase?

      • Anonymous

Some shoppers prefer to roll their ECBs into the next transaction and reduce the OOP expense of the trip.  I myself actually do one larger transaction and just have more ECBs left for next week.  They both usually work out the same in the end I just spent more OOP at the very begining, since then I have been rolling my larger number of ECBs into the next week’s sales.

For example, Jenny starts off her transactions with $2 ECBs from last week, I did not shop this week so I am starting my week is $18 ECBs.  Same end result, I just walk away with more left over for next week.  it really is just a personal preference.

    • Linda

new to this, my question can you really stand in line all this time and ring all these different transactions?

      • Anonymous

You can do as many transactions as you want to, but remember limits on different sale prices and ECB it’s not like walgreens. :) Just be courteous to the cashier by being organized and ready so it doesn’t take very long and to fellow customers by going to the end of the line after each transaction.

        • Anonymous

yea I try to either go during a time that isnt as busy, get in line when no one else is, let others go ahead of me, and get at the end of the line after each transaction to be respectful of others

      • Spoony4u09

haha i live in ohio they open up another cash register when i walk into the store =0)

    • lmrv

When I do the math on transaction 3 I am not getting .66.  I am new to this whole coupon thing! Can someone explain it to me please!!

      • Aggie

        Your total is $21.00- $12.00 (4 Airwick cpns)= $9.00-$1.50 (2 Finish cpns)= $7.50-$6.79 (ECB)= .71 My total was off by 5 cents from hers.

    • Sue

The printable CVS coupons say Limit one coupon per purchase. Is that per item, or per cash out? ex: vitamins are BOGO so can I print and use a coupon for each of the 2 I get?

    • Rach3lbu11man

I see that the AirWick is for the I-motion, but if I get the freshmatic for 7.99 and have a $4q and a $2e-q from savingstar I can use both right?? i just started couponing and haven’t used any e-qs yet …I think this is how this works!  I can only use the e-q once though :((

      • Guest

You don’t ‘use’ a savingstar coupon, it credits to your account later.  It will still credit just fine even if you use a manufacturer’s coupon at the time of purchase.  But it takes several weeks for the $2 credit to show up in your savingstar account.

    • a little counfused are the airwick 4.99 or 7.99

      • Rach3lbu11man

        I don’t really know either!!

      • Nancino89

there are actually two different kinds one that is 7.99 which is the freshmatic kit and the other that is 4.99 and is airwick refills and what looks like a plug in kit.. if you have a chance to look on the cvs website it has a preview and it show the pic of the items..
what i would like to know will the 4 dollar coupon work for the plug in too???

      • Guest

The large ones are 7.99 and the smaller ‘compact’ variety is 4.99.

    • bm911

was any one able to print the soft coupon?

      • Gilpritchett

yes, got 2 on each computer-I’ve got 3.

    • ok so this is my plan what do you guys think let me know
buy 5 AirWick 4.99 and something small to push total to 25.00 dollars
use 5 off 25 and 5 4.00 off pay 50 cents.and get back 10.00 ecb woohoo cant wait

      • bm911

Is the $5 off $25 on any product or only food?

      • jhoran

That deal is 10 ebc wyb 20.00, not 25.00

      • Jhoran

Sorry, I now realise that you have 5 off 25 cvs coupon

      • laura

That’s a great idea but the cheapest thing to get for that deal is $2.99 but even then only paying $2.49 you’re still making a $7.51 profit!

        • laura

Nevermind I’m having a moment, apparently! You only need to spend $20 for the airwick …sorry!

    • on any prouduct

    • babyluv120

I was told that there was a way to buy just the coupon inserts only? Could someone tell me how.

      • couponingtosurvive

you can buy them on ebay or from coupon clipping service. google it and you will find many sellers.

      • Guest

on facebook look up Insert Insanity

    • amym

On the deal with the Finish Gelpacs and the Airwick, if one store only has one or two of these items and I buy them, then go to another store to get a few more, will my card keep up with my purchase amount and then print the ecb’s when I reach $20 or does it all have to be in one transaction?

      • yes

      • Misty

It’s cumulative, so yes, your ECB will print whenever you reach the $20 limit as long as it’s before the next sales week.

    • Minniel0ve

      FYI on the Purina Scenario, Buy (4) @ $5, not (2) @ $5

    • Anonymous

      anyone have a colgate zip?

    • Tonyacortes

I have a ? I sould know this answer but not sure. On BOGO manufacture q can you use a Manufacture q on the BO item.

    • I just worked out a pretty sweet CVS scenario!! After ECB and $5 off $25 it will be like making $0.83.

      2 Herbal Essences 5.98, -$2
      1 Playtex 7.99, -$2(Manuf), $1(CVS)
      4 Dawn 3.96, -$3
      1 Rephresh 6.79, -$1
      1 Soft Soap BW 2.99, -$.75

      Total Due $27.71
      -$5 WYB $25
      -$9.75 Q
      -$8 ECB
      Total OOP $4.96
      ECB Remaining $13.79

I don’t prefer doing multiple transactions. So I always leave with bigger amounts of ECB. I’m pretty excited. My first scenario to write out myself.

      • Vgreene

Type your comment here.I didn’t an email with a coupon from cvs this week. Did you get your 5 off of 25 by email?

    • I have at my CVS before… but I’ve seen others say that it’s not allowed. If it helps I handed over the B1G1 first and then my cents off coupon. You can always try. The worst they will say is no.

    • Anonymous

When exactly can you buy these items on sale? Can you get them late on Saturday or do you have to wait til Sunday?

      • Garbayo85

One option is to go to the store around 11:30 on sat., start picking your items so that you can pay for them after midnight when it’s already sunday and the items are already on sale. If you buy them late saturday it will not work (at least it hasn’t for me). Hope that helps!

        • campingmommaof2

          Thanks :)

          • Stacyannw

i usually can get things late on sat, usually after 6, and you can just scan something at the red box you know will be on sale the next day, if the sale price comes up then they have the sales for the next day in the system

            • bitsy

The key difference here is that 24 hour stores you need to wait until midnight and stores that close have the price keyed in the system late on Saturday

            • Liz

I’ve tried going on a Sat after 7pm. Sales prices were in effect but no ECB printed.

            • Anonymous

My ECBs always print on Saturday evenings.

      Read This regarding Skitimate Qs

      A) CVS and manuf Qs both can be stacked. They are one store and one manuf Q. without a doubt.

      B) Usually one alike CVS store Q on the same product is allowed per transaction. Therefore, buy only one item per transaction.

      C) The price is 1.99 and it will ring up so if you scan your card the very first in a transaction. Since the second Q price will overage by a penny, CVS register does not accept overage over the products price. Therefore, no matter what, the second Q in the row wether cvs or manuf Q. will beep and needs to be adjusted to 0.99 cents

      D) The mauf Q. from the insert had coding error. The coupon that is out there is meant for “cream shave” as written and pictured for the tube. However, manuf Q shows upc code (the first set of numbers) for the can “shave cream” variety. It looks like their own IT department were confused about “shave cream” and “cream shave”-

They both are two different products. So, if you buy according to the wording/picture “cream shave” tube, no matter what, the manuf Q will beep. However, if you buy the can “shave cream”, you will notice that upc code first set match in both Q and the Q will not beep. The CVS Q seems to go for the can also without a beep.

Thus, you may either buy the right product the cream shave tube and educate the employee if issue arises or simply buy the can and the manuf Q will not beep on it.

      E) If you NOT scan the card first in that transaction, then both Q will go just fine for the can. Regardless, the Q will beep for the actual correct item which is the tube.

      F) Regardless, always buy separate if you will be using alike CVS Qs on multiple products of the same.

I am typing it fast, so let me know if there is anything confusing. All above is fact for sure

    • Shanqs

I’m having trouble printing the -75/1 SoftSoap Body Wash Q. When I click on “printable” it takes me to SoftSoap special offers web site, but I don’t see a coupon.  Help

    • Rach3lbu11man

can someone tell me if i can use savingstar e-q and mfc together for the airwick fresh 7.99??? or CAN i use the $4 off on the i-motion??????

      • Yuliyaporter

        yes, you can use both.

      • Anne

Oh my goodness!!  I did the airwick deal yesterday, and forgot about the savingstar coupon I had already activated!!! 2 more bucks in the account!!!  How awesome is that?!?!  Oh yeah, you can definately use both!!!

        • Anonymous

how does the star thing work??
          thanks

    • clue

what really gets to me I brung all my coupons to the store and they do not scan all my coupons so I still lose money and they still get there money back.

      • Anonymous

I usually hand over my Qs one at a time & pay close attention as each one is scanned…this always helps to make sure everything deducts as it’s supposed to.

    • Marisa

      What is “Select PG products”

      • Liz

        Procter & Gamble

      • Yuliyaporter

Some boxed Pampers  have  coupon  booklets  inside

    • Sue

      (3) Air Wick i-Motion Kit, $4.99

      (3) -$4 off Airwick Ultra Freshmatic Reg or Compact, kit, SS 9/11

Will the coupon work for this product?  She has i-Motion kit–but then she has listed a coupon for Freshmatic.  I just want to make sure I am planning my trip right.

      • Momnwife

i was questioning that myself. i hope someone knows the answer.

        • I googled “Airwick i-Motion” and it brought up pictures of the box which reads “Airwick Freshmatic i-Motion” so I believe Jenny was just abbreviating.

      • Guest

You need to buy one that actually says ‘freshmatic’ on it.  There is a freshmatic compact – it’s smaller than the large 7.99 one.

Is anyone else having trouble getting to the Skippy peanut butter coupon?

      • Jessica

It is at the very bottom of the page (took me a minute to find it too). But make sure you’re printer is ready, because when you click the coupon it wants to print right away.

    • Kswildcat92

Help!  I am having trouble printing the printable coupons.  It tells me I have to register first.  But I thought I heard Jenny say that you shouldn’t have to give a bunch of personal info to print these coupons.

Also, I was trying to print the target coupons and I did give my info but it still would not print.   Any suggestions??  I appreciate you.

    • Firstbrownie

Check your CRT scanner coupons……I have a 50% off any CVS allergy (5 ct), a $4 off any $20 allergy relief, and a $5 off Allegra (30 ct.). I hope to use all three (plus a manufacture q for the Allegra) and snag a great deal. Two of these coupons just printed off last week, too. I hope that helps someone else get a good deal on allergy meds!

    • Mbaideme

you had on there a couple of days ago to buy 5 airwicks use 5 coupons total 4.95 get 10 ecbs…i dont see that on here now is their a limit to how many airwicks u can buy now?

    • Wethedeans

A burning question…. This is kind of cheating, but I finally found the soft scrub at CVS, got 5 for 0.00 dollars using the 1.50 off coupons and using a 5 dollarECB. I originally got a raincheck for the 5, but my CVS restocked. Can I go back with my raincheck tomorrow-new sale day- and use the raincheck to get 5 more with another 5 dollar ECB?

      • No… ECBs have a limit per card. Most are 1, but some are 2… check your receipt. It tells you if the offer limit is reached.

    • Guest

on iheartcvs, the ad shows the coke 12-pks as $2ECB WYB  (3) 12-pks for $11.00 not what Jenny has listed.  I wish I knew which to go by so I can plan my trip :)

      • Deecheers4rv

You can look on the CVS website at the upcoming add. Upstate S.C. add shows 4/13 with 3 ECB

    • Ryanandwendy2005

Question for all you regular CVSer’s.  If I use a free product coupon that I have.  From facebook, on the aussie and herbal will I still get my extra care buck?

      • Emhcoupon

yes. I plan on using mine tomorrow

      • Emhcoupon

yes. I plan on using mine tomorrow

      • yes

      • robin

yes…and I just went and used mine.  I bought one herbal essence and two aussie shampoo& conditioner used one free herbal essence and one free aussie coupon and the cashier gave me the full 3.99 value, so I got them for .33 cents each and got three ECBs.

    • Anonymous

Jessica, thanks so much—just printed the Skippy coupons!

    • No airwick coupons in the early edition of the AJC.  Bummer.

    • etw

Isn’t the Skippy coupon just for Wal-Mart

    • Couponing_Rocks!

Just had a great trip to CVS…and yes, the compact imotion kits are 4.99 & do qualify for the deal so your 4.00 coupons will work!

      Here’s what I got:
3 Airwick Freshmatic Compact Imotion Kits 4.99 each = 14.97
      2 Finish 20 Ct. Dishwasher Detergent 2.99 each = 5.98
      2 Dawn Hand Renewal Soap .99 each = 1.98
      1 Softsoap = 2.99
      1 rephresh Tampons = 6.79
      1 St. Joseph’s Aspirin = 2.00
      1 CVS allergy 5 ct. = 3.69
      50.00 in iTunes gift cards = 50.00
      Tax = 3.39
      Total before coupons = 91.79

      Used:
      3 – 4.00 off Airwick Freshmatic kits (12.00)
      2 – .65 off Finish (1.30)
      2 – .75 off Dawn (1.50)
      1 – .75 off Softsoap (.75)
      1 – 1.00 off Rephresh (1.00)
      1 – 1.00 off St. Josephs (1.00)
      18.00 in ECB’s (18.00)

      Total OOP = 56.24
      Received $33.79 in ECB’s

Then I realized the Cokes were on sale so I went back and got 4 – 12packs
      4 – 12 packs of Diet Coke = 13.00
      Tax = 1.01
      Used 13.00 in ECB’s
      OOP = 1.01
      Got 3.00 in ECB’s back

      Overall Cost:
      OOP Transaction1 = 56.24
      OOP Transaction 2 = 1.01
      ECB’s Used = 31.00
      Less: ECB’s Received (36.79)
Net Cost = 51.46 & that includes a 50.00 iTunes Gift Card!!!  One of the best CVS trips I’ve had in a while.

      • Do they start the CVS for Sunday on Saturday for all locations now?

        • Guest

No, it is on a store-by-store basis.  They have to actually ‘do’ something in their computer system at the store level to activate the sales, so each store could potentially start the sale at a different time.

    • Anonymous

i don’t understand why the deal on the finish doesn’t say to just use 4 of the 75 cent off coupons instead of 2 75 and 2 65

      • Guest

It assumes that some people may only wish to buy 2 papers.  This site is a guide, not an order.  Do your deals the way that works best for you – often you can come out with better deals if you are experienced and have more coupons.

    • April

Quick question on CVS, I have a $5 off $25 on my ECB card, is that before coupons?

      • Firstbrownie

        Yes, it is!!

    • April

Quick question on CVS, I have a $5 off $25 on my ECB card, is that before coupons?

    • Firstbrownie

The Freshmatic compact is included in the 10 ECB sale and it is 4.99, too. Thank you CVS for some great deals this week.

    • I just went to CVS to get the Airwick deal. The compact freshmatics were $4.99. I did the following.

      1 Rephresh $6.79 ($1q)
      4 Airwick compact $19.96 ($16q)
      1 Skinny cow $0.99 *raincheck*
      1 Softsoap bodywash $2.99 ($0.75q)
      1 Suave deodorant $0.99 ($0.50q)
      2 Dawn Plus $1.98 ($1.50q)
      1 Hershey Air $0.99 ($1.19q)
      1 Hershey bar $1.19
      1 Pantene Shampoo $3.49 ($3.49q)
      1 Pantene Conditioner $3.48

      Total $42.85 + $0.38 tax – $5/25 – $24.43qs – $11ECBs = $2.80 OOP
Remaining ECBs $22.78 including a greenbag tag. Great trip to CVS

      • Allforthe4leggrers

It should be 4 bags not 2

    • Anonymous

Great News!! Just got back from CVS, mine starts their Sunday ad on Saturday evening…..The Airwick compact imotion .08 oz @ 4.99 are included AND you only have to buy four and you still get the $10 ECB even though it was .04 short. So, 19.96 – 16.00 in coupons = 3.96 OOP and $10 ECB!!

      • Guest

what coupon did u use, the only ones i see listed are in tomorrows paper

      • Kayla

I just got back from CVS and I got 3 compacts and 1 refill = 19.96 and they would not give it to me. Had to buy another refill :( Still a good deal though.

        • Guest

What do you mean they ‘wouldn’t give it’ to you?  Did they physically tear off the ecb when it printed (b/c I KNOW it printed, b/c the deal works a few cents short just like ALL CVS deals).  If you bought 19.96 worth of items and  your cashier physically took your ECB or would not give you your receipt, PLEASE call and complain to corporate.  That is unacceptable.  CVS programs their deals the way they do for a reason.  The reason they program deals to print when a few cents short is that they used to get a LOT of complaints and people contacting customer service to manually make their ecb prints b/c it was ridiculous for them to price items with 0.99 ending numbers when a deal called for whole dollar amounts in order for the reward to print.  If I’m reading this right and your ECB printed but the store physically would not give it to you, PLEASE call and make a complaint.  It is not right.

    • Lisa

Anybody get the $3 lysol coupon??

    • elisa

the airwick coupon from 8/14 does work on the imotion kit, i had them check it at the store today.

      • The airwick freshmatic compact size 0.8 oz was $4.99 and the coupons work on those. HTH

      • sue

i just tried the imotion kit using the $4 off coupon…and it didn’t work.  the cashier said it had to be used on the $7.99 one.  i hate when you have it all planned out…and then it doesnt work.

    • crystal

im in houston,tx i just got my early sunday papper i did not see the 4 off air wick coupon in ss did anybody els see it please help my cvs shopping list needs it

      • January42003

I think I read earlier posts that they were from the 8/14 insert. Hope you find it! :)

      • Tana

        Crystal,
I am in Houston also – did you only get 3 inserts because my paper is missing one of the Smart Source Inserts – the one with the airwick coupons.  I are having them send me out a new paper – but now I am thinking that one will be missing inserts too.  Oh Well – I may end up buying an extra paper at the store.

    • did anyone get the airwick coupon

    • Nichola2

Question…. I see where people have 3 or 4 Airwick Freshmatic kits in their transactions…. aren’t those coupons one per purchase? Or should I be able to use them in one transaction?

      • Anonymous

1 coupon per purchase just means 1 item= 1 coupon. Some coupons now are also worded with “limit 4 per transaction” so you can buy 4 items and use 4 coupons in 1 transaction and you should not have any problems.

    • Louisville Ky area and I have absolutely no air wick coupons, none in my SS 8/14 and none in this weeks SS 9/11 is anyone else having this issue? I was really excited about the deals!

      • C Shay

I live in Trimble Co, and I get the smart sources in the mail a week before they come out in the courier journal. Neither of my smart sources had them in it.

      • Kellyhouse67

none in mine either. There are ALOT of coupons that are in this info that I didn’t get, way more than usual. Everytime I go to match up, i’m dissapointed. Oh well, better luck next week!

      • April

I live in BG, KY and I got it. However, I did NOT get the $1 on St. Joe asprin.

    • C Shay

The red box printed a 1.50 off axe shower gel. With the b1g1 coupon we got in the inserts a few weeks ago, makes for a good deal. They were 5.79 b1g1 50% off. The cashier gave me the full 5.79 off for the b1g1 coupon, plus used the 1.50 redbox q. Got them for something like a dollar a piece.

    • KCapozziello

FYI to the Orlando area, the Orlando Sentinel has TWO different Smart Sources. Some papers have a yellow Diabetes smart headliner, some have a flag headliner. Only the flag headliner contains the $4 off Airwick coupon. I bought 5 papers and had to swap out two for the flag headliner SS.
I proceeded to CVS to do the Air Wick deal plus I had a MFR for a Free Jumbo pack of Huggies (I won an Instant Win game for Enjoy The Ride program). I always scan my card at the Magic coupon machine the second I step inside. Glad I did, I got my free Pampers jumbo pack (Pampers Extra Rewards buy6g7 free).
      Bought:
Pampers Jumbo $11.99 -$11.99 CVS Free
Huggies Jumbo $8.99-$11.99 MFR Free (they even gave me the overage!)
4 Air Wick Compact kits $4.99-$4.00 MFR
1 Air Wick Refill $4.99- $1.50 (Couldn’t use it in the end)
      $5 off $25 CVS q.
      Total: $45.93 w/o tax
After q’s= $0.95! So, they wouldn’t use the $1.50 off refill q. With tax I spent $3.82 OOP. SCORE! Earned $11 in ECBS

      • Brooke

Thank You for the heads up about the Orlando papers…I’ll have to check my delivered papers when I get home this afternoon…may have to call for redelivery tomorrow if couons are missing…they are always really good about it!

        • Brooke

Just FYI, I finally got around to opening my papers, which I have delivered, both SmartSources were in my papers…if you call the Orlando Sentinel, if you call and ask to speak with the lady in charge of coupons, she will typically mail you the missing inserts.

    • Jbush27

Did anyone print the Rephresh coupon?  Mine came out teeny tiny.

      • holl

my coupon printed small as well

      • Srgordon

Mine did too and it still scanned

    • Crywalt

Does any one have Luster products, will trade Huggies coupons

      • Bryant6_t

I have (2) $6 off Luster 1 hr. white and (2) $1.50 off Luster White 7.  I don’t have a need for the huggies.  Is there anything else you are willing to trade? No big deal if you don’t, I can still send them to you as I will not need them. You can email me at bryant6_t@att.net

    • Got a Coupon free a FREE box of Crackerfulls or Newton Thins from the red coupon Mac. this morning, Also bought 4 I-Motion kits used the 8/14 $4/1 q. = $19.96 and it gave me the $10 ECB back… I was prepared to buy the 5th if I had to… OOP was A BIG FAT $.00  Used $4 ECB got back $10.. I’m lovin it…

    • I went to CVS this morning and tried to get 2 Absolutely Divine cookies and milk to get $3 ECB but they didn’t print. At the bottom of my receipt it says:
      Cookies/Milk, Buy 3 Get 3 EB
      Quantity Toward this Reward 2
Quantity needed to Earn Reward 1
Does this mean I have to buy 3 cookies and a milk? Or did something get messed up in the computer?

      • Same here! I am going to go back to CVS tomorrow w/my receipt to request the ECB. So weird…

        • I just called 1-800-SHOPCVS and they are only open Monday-Friday 8-5 so I will call again tomorrow. If anyone finds out anything before then please let me know. Thanks!

    • Victoria

Just want to let everyone know, the Freshmatics are marked in the ad at $7.99, but actually ring up $4.99. Great week at CVS! Happy shopping!

      • Kathyvabch

thanks so much!  I was wondering how that would play out!

      • Guest

There are TWO DIFFERENT Airwick Freshmatics.  The large one is on sale for 7.99, the smaller compact version is on sale for 4.99.

    • Christophersmommy

You can print a 1.00 off coupon for the finish dishwasher detergent from their website and use the dollar off instead,of 75 cents… It let me print 2

    • Anonymous

New cashier this AM. She went thru all the fine print on my coupons. Told me I could only use one Freshmatic coupon per purchase. So I said fine, ring each one up seperately. Then she read my Dawn coupons that say limit one per purchase and limit 4 per transaction. A light bulb went off-she proceeded to ring up everything togeather without another word. I was very polite and did not argue-if she wanted to make extra work for herself then go for it. :) SHE learned something this morning.

      • Guest

One per purchase means 1 per item.  An item is a purchase.  If the manufacturer wanted to limit you to 1 per transaction or day, they would write that on the coupon.  Other companies do.

    • Avon4ava

all of my air wick kits were 7.99 in nc. bummer. still with everything I bought was $72 and paid $15 with $17 EB for next week so I shouldn’t complain but still bummed.

      • Srgordon

I live in Lenoir, NC and found the compact ones furhter down in the aisle for $4.99 might just have been that store

      • Darn! Im in Fayetteville NC and ours were 4.99 were you getting the right ones?

        • Srgordon

I bought 4 of those and it printed ECB

        • JAS

Did you only get one insert in the fayetteville observer?

    • JenB33

I got a coupon for a free box of Ritz Crackerfuls or Newton Thins. Happy bonus to an already great trip!

    • A few weeks ago I found a Conair flat iron on clearance for 7.99 and I thought the 5 ECB’s wouldn’t print but they did :)

    • Anonymous

Great Deals this week!  Got Finish (20 ct) for .54/ea with Jenny’s info above.  Also did Nestle deal and got 16 lbs of dog food for $5 when paired with manuf Q & 5/$25 deal and a couple of the smaller ECB deals to get to $25.

Really Nice Extra:  Red Box printed Q for free crackerfuls or Nabisco Thins.  I got the NThins.  Love them!  Like a cookie but not as sweet.  Good luck on your trip this week!

    • Mustangmom207

Went to CVS this morning…On their clearance 75% off table was oxy clinical face wash and cream…reg.8.99,sale price 2.25..and each one had a 1.00 off coupon! I bought several!! Awesome deal!

    • Rosey4u8

I went to CVS and wanted to buy some newspaper…Im glad i doubled checked because most of them were missing the SS with the airwick Q. There were two additionals inserts :)

      My Scenario

4 Airwick Compact kits 4.99 each
      1 bengay $5.49

      Total due $26.45

      coupons used

      CVS $5 off $25
      4 airwick $4Q= 16
      1 Bengay $5Q
      total in Q= 26

      Total OOP=$0.45

      Got back $10 ECB

      • Wethedeans

        Score!

    • I was actually going to skip CVS this week, but realized I really did need dish detergents, so I did a pretty good trip this week, maybe more OOP then some would like but ok for me.

      1st transaction:
      5 Finish Powerball 14.95 less 5 .75 off manuf Q
      1 Airwick I motion 4.99 less 4.00 off manuf Q
      1 Garnier Moisture 8.79 less 2.00 off manuf Q
      Also used 5/25 CVS coupon
      Paid 15.40 OOP (with tax)
      Got back $10.00 ECB

      2nd Transactionn:
Newton Crisps 2.50 used free coupon CVS less 2.50
      1 Aussie Styler 2.99 less 1.00 manuf Q
1 Quaker granola 1.00 (needed filler for ECB redemption)
1 Act microwave popcorn 1.00 (needed filler for ECB redemption)
      1 Garnier Moisturizer less 2.00 manuf Q
      Used 10.00 ECB from above
1.49 OOP, .71 cents of this was tax.
Got back 6.00 ECB for next trip!

Spent 16.89 OOP for 71.70 in products (full CVS retail) and still have 6.00.  I am pretty happy with this trip!

      • TRACEYKENNETHCRUM

we dont have to have fillers at my CVS. I can but 1 item and use a manf q and ECB.

        • The filler was only to get to a value over 10.00 so I could spend my full 10.00 ECB, I did not plan for any other items so I grabbed two dollar items.  My total with using my coupons was going to be just over 8.00.

    • Notwantingtosay

Went to CVS this morning and got everything I wanted except the asprin, the lady checking out beside me when the cashier told her limit of 2 cards per day, and she got upset. I just don’t understand how people think it is fair to even have more than one per household she actually had the nerve to ask have you ever heared them limit 2 cards per day I said no but I only have one so that really doesn’t matter to me, I should have said that is to eliminate fradualent cards but had only rested 4 hours mind wasn’t thinking clearly

      • Srgordon

fingers crossed she doesn’t read this because she probably have it out for me anytime I see her

      • Anne

Funny thing though.  I only have 1 card, and when I have went to use ECB’s a few times they told me they were attached to another card.  I’m not sure what is going on there, and they do take them after I tell them that I only have one card.  I mean the ECB’s even have my name on them, and have been scanned by the only one card I have. I would just like to figure out that mystery. :)

    • Got a $3 off Vicks dayquil nyquil or new nature fusion cough and cold Q and another one for Free Crackerfuls or Newtons thins! I am going to go back later this week and get the Dayquil and Nyquil and it should come out to be about 1.50 each after ECB!

    • Couponkelly1414

Re: $3 printable coupon for Lysol Healthy Touch No Touch starter kit: When I log in, it offers me a $0.75 coupon.  Not the $3 one…do I need to log in a different way to get the better coupon?

      • Guest

The $3 coupon may not be available anymore.  This site is really bad about not updating when coupons change or disappear.

    • I am glad to see that the Airwick I Motion deal worked for some you. I went to my CVS (Atlanta area) and they were priced $7.99!!! I didn’t end up doing the deal because it was not worth it.

      • Jbush27

Those are different.  They were out of the Imotions that were priced at 4.99.

        • Wethedeans

I had to scan a few of them at the red box before I found the correct ones at the 4.99 price.

      • Guest

The one that’s on sale 7.99 is the full size.  The 4.99 one is the compact.

    • I am glad to see that the Airwick I Motion deal worked for some you. I went to my CVS (Atlanta area) and they were priced $7.99!!! I didn’t end up doing the deal because it was not worth it.

Ok, this is unrelated to CVS but on alot of the extreme couponing shows they showed stock pile rooms with wooden shelves. Do they buy them somewhere or do they build. I would like one or two for my garage for dry goods.

      • Br Coupons

We’ve been re-using plastic shelves that we had gotten at home depot or lowes (but the upfront expense is pricy if you ask me).  I subscribe to a local recycle group through yahoo.  Members post what they have to “offer” or “need” and other members reply if they want it or have it…everything is FREE, NO CHARGE, you make arrangements to pickup/dropoff…it’s a great idea and keep LOTS of usable stuff out of the landfills.  Good Luck!

      • Costley

You can try CraigsLlist on line. We just outfitted my daughters new college room for under $100. Bed, desk, dresser, hutch, table, love seat, and chair. Part of the things were free.

      • Guest

IKEA makes some that look really nice but are fairly inexpensive.

Please don’t act like the people on the show though.  They are a disgrace to the couponing community.

    • Castro Coupons

Red box gave me a free box of Ritz Crackerfuls or Wheat Thins, there was a printable for $1.00 off the Wheat Thins and another for .75c for the Crackerfuls so, either one MM!!

      • Just4yall

        ?

      • Lauren

I also got that coupon today. I was wondering if anybody knows if you can combine the free coupon (because it’s a store coupon) with a manufacturer coupon and use the overage toward another item?

        • Just4yall

Coupon policy states….The coupon amount will be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied. (For example, a $5.00 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value). So if you use coupons honestly than no.

        • Anonymous

I’ve done it before with no problems, but it probably depends on the store/cashier. Just4yall, they will adjust individual coupons when they are more than a product, but combing store and manufacturer coupons is a different story I think.

    • JFHmom

Has anyone had any luck printing the coupon for LIfeSavers?  Is there a zipcode that works?  Thanks!

    • G8rleslie

This is probably old news, but I LOVE that you can put the $5 off of $25 on the Extra Care Card instead of printing it. Saves me paper and ink! Score!

      • Anonymous

How do you do that?  I haven’t gotten $5 coupons in a LONG time.

    • michelle

Did anyone else have trouble finding the $1.50 off Colgate sensitive toothpaste?

    • Susan

Where do I find the “Booklet” for the select PG products?

      • Wethedeans

Go online and sign up at proctor and gamble website. That’s what I did

    • Traceykennethcrum

I have to brag a little. I just went to CVS and got 42 ct prilosec, softsoap bodywash, 4 airwick kits, milk, 2 sodas and candy for $17. I saved $75. Go me!!!!

      • Traceykennethcrum

        I mean 5 airwickk kits.

    • Anonymous

Found a Q for $4 off Bounty ultra soft paper towels in one of my P&G booklets. Think I got it from a box of Pampers. Anyways did everything as above, but ended paying $7.01 at end including tax. Yay!

    • how are you guys using the airwick freshmatic coupon for the airwick imotion? it is not the same product.

      • I went this morning and there are 2 types of imotion. One type is freshmatic and the other is not. I accidentally picked up the wrong kind first. I’m not sure what the difference is, but my coupons wouldn’t scan to start with, so the nice cashier showed me which kind I meant to pick up. The ones I have read “Freshmatic Compact Imotion.”

    • I got mine at ikea pretty cheap.

    • Teri

I just got back from CVS and I bought 4 airwicks and 1 finish, it did not print my ECB’s. The manager said with some products now when you use man q’s it deducts down the ECB’s. It sounded like they were making it up as they went along. I know it’s that way at WAGS now and the managers have no way of knowing which items will not not print RR when a man q is used. Has anyone else experienced this? I know all my items qualified because my receipt showed offer limit reached. Thanks

      • I would call 1-800-SHOPCVS tomorrow. They are open between 8 and 5. I got the same deal and mine printed, but I had a problem with my milk and cookies so I also have to call tomorrow. Oh joy :)

      • swirlypop

I got 3 airwicks and 2 finish, used Q’s for everything and my ECB printed.

      • TJ

I got 7 finishs and and used 7 .75 off coupons and my 10 ecbs printed.

      • Guest

The manager was either lying or extremely confused.  Using coupons or ECBs will NEVER affect whether a new reward prints out.  Sometimes there are glitches in the system where it cannot connect to their mainframe or whatever you call it, which can prevent ECBs from printing.  They easily could have printed your $10 manually for you if they hadn’t been busy making up excuses.
Question, though, you said your receipt showed ‘offer limit reached’.  Had you already done the $20purchase/$10ecb deal before?  It is an offer limit of 1, after all.  You will not receive a second $10 ecb for buying more product, you are limited to 1 reward for the week.

    • actually got up early before work this morning so that i could swing by our cvs before everything was gone…still only able to snag two of the airwick sets but that was fine because i wanted the finish more anyway…with that deal and some cheap softsoap, dawn, bengay, lifesavers ( what can i say, i have a sweet-tooth ), and some free allergy meds i ended up ~$12 OOP and received $15.69 ECBs…but what made the trip really shine was my wonderful cashier; our household has two cvs cards, one we actually use and one i had to get another early morning when i forgot our regular one..well, of course id forgotten the “real” one again and all my ECBs were attached to that account…i was almost willing to go ahead with the purchase but then my cashier told me just to come back later….i told her by the time i would be able to come back half the stuff i wanted to purchase would be gone..lol..but she told me that she would put the merchandise up for me for when i came back…i work in a restaurant and that’s what gets people to patron your business; going above and beyond to please your guests..that made my day

      • Rosey4u8

next ime give them your phone number and you will be able to use the ECB .

      • Chrissy

I am new to Southern Savers.  What does ECB and OOP mean?

    • Padgettfamily05

1 brawny papertowels 12 rolls (12.99), 1 charmin toliet paper 16 megar rolls (9.99) ritz crackers, 3 puffs klennexs with lotion (1.50) my total  after coupons $0.19 and i got back $10 ECB i had some a bunch of saved of ecb’s which helped this total but my cvs did not receive the right puffs klennex products to go with this deal but the manager went in and manually printed our $10 ecb after our purchase she let us susbitute equal or lesser value!! now if cvs can go in and manually print our ecb why can’t wags?? idk but loved my trip today that listed above was one transaction i got $75.90 worth of products today at cvs and spent $20.70 with $10ecb for my next trip.  Very impressed with my cvs trip this week…i’m teaching a friend how to q and her jaw dropped when i paid $0.19 for all of that listed above!!!

      • Guest

Wags cannot manually control the catalina machines that print out their RR’s.  The catalina machines are controlled by a third party (the catalina company).  Wags can’t just create a code to make RR’s print out since they don’t program the machines.  It is frustrating especially b/c they can’t do rainchecks like CVS, but it’s something you just have to learn to work around.

    • I did fantastic today at CVS… I got about $76 worth of stuff for about $5!  Wooowhooo!

It’s about time CVS had a good sale.  Very happy with today’s shopping trip and so thankful for this Southern Savers!  Thanks Jenny!

    • Rach3lbu11man

Very good trip!!!  Spent $6.98 OOP  Saved $90.96!!!!!!  Had coupons for everything plus several ECBs, but totally worth it!  I even got back $22.48 in ECBs!!!  I have been couponing at CVS for three weeks now and I must say I am HOOKED!

    • Aranacoleman

My Red Plum today did not have the $5 coupon for Bengay..did anyon get theirs today?

      • Nita Royal

yes, but it was only for the “cold” version….not the one on sale

        • Anonymous

The Q is NOT only for the “Cold” version. It is stated on the Q that it is for the regular as well.

      • yes – my Cvs took $5 off each one- as long as you get the one that stats $5.49- youll get it for 49 cents!!!  great deal!!

        • Guest

Please check to be sure the coupons you use are actually for the specific items you buy.  The Bengay coupon is only for very specific types which may not be included in the 5.49 sale.

      • Anonymous

In Florida, the Bengay Q was not in the Redplum. It was in SS. Check there, the page opposite the Tylenol Precise Q.

    • mer_ber7

does anyone know how to get the $2 off huggies store coupon? it says printable, but you can’t click on it…

      • Tori_rn

It is no longer available… the prints are gone… sorry…

      • Guest

        It disappeared weeks ago.

    • Had a great CVS trip this morning

OOP 8.78 and got back 13.69…. so really I only paid 3.44 for everything so happy

    • january42003

Swiped my card at the Redbox and it printed out the free Newton’s Fruit Crisps! Yay! Only had to pull out 20 cents for tax. Not too bad. :)

    • Meagan

Did anyone else have trouble using the $4 off coupon on the $4.99 Airwick product?  My cashier wouldn’t let me.

      • Anonymous

I bought both 1- I-motion 3-freshmatic and coupon went through for both w/out beeping.

        • Meagan

          were the freshmatic $7.99?

          • zebby

The freshmatic starter kits are 4.99.  I got a few today, was totally surprised to see the shelf fully stocked at 2pm.

      • Rosey4u8

Just make sure you are using the correct product with your coupon. I think I bought the compact kit. speak to a manager. I think someimes the cashiers wan the deal for themselves

        • Meagan

Well, nothing on the $4 off coupon says iMotion…but that is the deal that Jenny posted and that lots of people said they are getting…so, I guess I am just confused.  The $4 off coupons all say Freshmatic Ultra or Freshmatic Compact…which I believe CVS has priced at $7.99

          • swirlypop

The freshmatic compact was $4.99 at my cvs.  Scan them at yours and check price.

          • Guest

The freshmatic compact is regularly 9.99 (slightly higher in some stores depending on location) but is part of the $4.99 sale.  The item that is on sale for 7.99 this week is the Freshmatci Ultra (big package), it is regularly priced at something like 14.99.

    • Ylevans1982

I noticed on the list it says that the summer’s eve products start at 2.47, that’s the douche only and the coupon states that douche is excluded. Just sayin…=)

      • There was Summer’s Eve products that worked with the coupon on sale for $2.99 BOGO at my CVS which is still a pretty good deal ;-)

    • hello i need a little help I am going to make my first cvs trip with coupons and after reading the comments im a little apprehensive I am intersted in getting

      Dawn for advertised price .99
      – i have (2) .75 coupon for it

The Air wick i motion deal
      – i have the (2) 4.00 coupon from todays paper

      Softsoap
      – printable -.75 coupon

i have got my card yesterday but have not aquired any “ecb” on it yet, is this going to effect my savings? Is there a certain order i should buy these items in to get the most out of my coupons…. Im sorry this is all very new to me a little insight would be greatly appericated.

      • Rosey4u8

you need at least four newspaper so that you can get $10 ECB and buy 4 airwick

    • Savannah Loxiong

I went to CVS today to try and buy 4 AirWick Spray Refills at $4.99 with my $4 Airwick Ultra Freshmatic Reg or Compact, kit, SS 9/11 coupon, and the cashier wouldn’t let me.  Even though it scanned ok, she said I could not use it for the Spray refills – only the kits.  I told her that it said I could use it online, but she refused.  It totally messed up my day, and with people in line behind me, I decided to just pay full price for the ones that I didn’t have a “useable” coupon for.  :(

      • Anonymous

You can’t use a $4 q for the kits for just the refills.  Your cashier was correct.  You only q that you could’ve used for that was the b2g1.  It clearly states kit and it was meant for the kits.

      • Gingiraffe

The cashier was right.  Jenny just posts coupons that are available for the sales and in this case she was posting that the kit coupon was available for the kits.  Use this website as a guide, not a be all end all for coupon use.  You have to always follow the wording on the coupon otherwise it is coupon fraud.

      • Christen

The sale is on the refill and the kits so you could have used the coupon if you had purchased the kit instead.

    • Simplysmiles1

I can’t find the St. Joseph coupon in either the 9/11 or 8/07 from AJC. Is anyone else having this issue?

      • ShelleySchu

I could not find it in the AJC either.  Glad I bought the All You Magazine.  I found it in there.

      • Tiff715

      • spooky

Awesome trip to CVS yesterday! I got $61.27 in stuff for $2.10 oop! Here’s what I did:
      Transaction #1:
      (1) Newton’s thins
      (1) Softsoap
      (1) Huggies jumbo pack
      (1) CVS allergy
      (1) rephresh
      (2) Summer’s eve wipes (16 ct. BOGO @$2.69)
      Used:
8 ECBs, $5/$25, FREE Huggies jumbo pk. (CVS CRT from buying 6–8.99), FREE Newton’s thins, $0.75/1 Softsoap, $1/1 Rephresh, $2/2 Summer’s Eve
      Total: $0.11 (negative subtotal)
      ECBs received: 2, 1, 3.69, 6.79
      Transaction #2:
      (4) Coke 12 pks.
      Used:

      ECBs received: 3
So, I used 8 ECBs, paid $2.10 in cash, and now have 6.69 ECBs for next week! It’s like I paid $3.41 for $61.27 in products (94% off!!!!)

    • I posted yesterday that my $3 ECB didn’t print for my milk and cookies because it said I only had 2 credits towards it. I called 1-800-SHOPCVS this morning, and after answering 100 questions and being put on hold 3 or 4 times, they said my bucks should print at the Magic Coupon Machine in 48 hours. So if anyone else has this problem, just call them. :)

      • glad they fixed that for you!! and that is way ill always be a cvs fan over walgreens lol they are way nicer to me

    • Quembel67

In one of the deals, you have us buying 3 of the same product and using 3 coupons. (I think) I was told that you could only use 2 coupons for the same product per visit. Is that true?

      • you can use 1 store and 1 manufacturer coupon per item that you buy. however, if you buy 3 different items you can use 3 coupons on them (3 manufacturer, 3 store, or 3 of each). you can use as many extra care coupons as you want and you can also use a $ off $$ store coupon ($3 off $15). Hope that wasnt confusing, you can always read and print off the coupon policies too so that you dont forget

Buy:(2) Purina Dog or Puppy Chow, 4-4.4 lb, $5Use: (2) -$2 off Purina Dog Chow printable -$2 off Purina Puppy Chow printable -$2 off Purina dog chow dog or puppy chow food printableTotal Due: $12Get Back: $5 ECB, makes it $1.75 ea.
I don’t get this deal idea…to get the $5 ECB, you are supposed to spend $20. This scenario only shows $10 being spent…am I missing something??

      • Zee

I think she meant to say buy 4

      • April

I think it’s supposed to be Buy 4 and use 4 $2 man q’s. I think it was just a mistake.  Buying 4 with the 4 q’s, it would make the total $12 with $10 ECB’s back.

    • JennLuffman

Has anyone had any luck with the Purina puppy chow coupons?  The bricks coupons say I’ve already printed my allowed times, but I’ve never printed any Purina.  A friend tried it on her computer for me, and it told her the same thing.  I registered on the site for the other coupon listed, but I never saw a link for the coupon or got an email with a coupon.  We have two puppies, and I really wanted this deal:(

      • April

I also had the same issue :(

      • Momnwife

i had the same problem and so did a friend

      • Jessica

I’m having the same problem.  I sent an e-mail to them to try and figure this out. Very frustrating!

    • New couponer

I love CVS!  They had a sign up marking Purex down to $1.99.  However, it rang up as $6.29.  When I showed the clerk, she said that sale was over on Saturday but since they forgot to take the sign down she would give it to me at that price.  Had a $2.00 coupon from Sunday’s Redplum so I got it for FREE!

      • Guest

The coupon was only good for the 128 oz purex.  I don’t think CVS even carries that size, do they?

        • New couponer

Yikes,  I guess I must not have read the coupon close enough.  I feel really bad now.  Hope I didn’t get anyone in trouble especially since I shop there all the time.

          • Guest

Everyone makes mistakes, just take it as a learning experience to always check the details and fine print.

      • Ctcjsbag5

Kroger marked their Daytona Purex down to $1.89 but you cannot use the $2.00 off coupon because it is for the 128 oz bottle.

    • Chelsealivingston

My CVS was out of the Newtons and Crackerfuls and the manager substituted regular fig newtons (rather than the crisps) instead with no problem since the coupon that prints was only good until tomorrow. Got 5 Airwick Freshmatic refills for $1.92 (used 6.79 ECB from RePhresh tampons, B2G1 man Q, and 2 1.50 off qs). Got the tampons for free then some with the ECB from the allergy meds and q. plus got a 30% off q!

    • Shopperrebecca

Check your email!  Just checked my email before going to CVS – got a beauty club email with a CVS Garnier printable:

SAVE $1 on any GARNIER, MAYBELLINE or ESSIE purchase with your ExtraCare card.* Offer valid now through Monday, 9/19.

Also, my CVS was out of the Ritz and Newton Thins, but my friendly cashier wrote me a rain check and wrote “please honor” on the coupon.  They did offer me $2.50 off any other Nabisco product, but I had just stocked up at the grocery store.

      • Tiya

I also got $1 off Nivea in the same email.

    • Brainardcoupons

I purchased 2 Almay items at CVS – a bottle of eye makeup remover and a container of makeup removing wipes.  They counted 1 toward my $10 for ecb’s but not the other. That doesn’t seem right.  Any advice?  Thank you.

      • Zee

always check for signs, it might not have met the requirements

      • Gingiraffe

Make sure one wasn’t on clearance.  Cleareanced items don’t count towards ECBs.

    • cassidy

I got 36$ worth of stuff for 3$ with 8.79$ ecb     I got 3 dawn dish soap, a venus embrace razoe and 36ct. playtext sport. after sales it was 20.95 but i had a 4$ of 20$ purchase coupon e-mailed to me then 2- .75 coupon of the dawn and a .50 of dawn then 2$ of the razor and 2$ manufactor coupon of the tampons and a 1$ cvs coupon off the tamons and 8$ ecb from last week totaling in 1.95 with 7ecb. then i got a softsoap body wash 2.99 and tampons 6.79 i had a .75 off the softsoap and 1$ of the tampons with 7 ecb from last transaction wich totaled in 1.03$ with 8.79 ecb left over.

      • Wethedeans

        Awesome!

    • By_ch0ice

I have plenty of the 4.00 off airwick starter kits if some one would like to trade.. I’d love to have  the 2.00 off crest complete in 9/11, or dawn 1.00 off or .50 cent off

      • Crywalt

Can you email me crywalt@att.net I have the 2.00 of crest coupons

    • Anonymous

If you got the Playtex tampon free coupons, this is a good week for them. Even if they only take off $5, with the CVS coupon too it makes it $1 money maker!
And even though it’s a limit one, you can buy a smaller box and use your other coupon and another CVS store coupon and make another dollar!

      • Anonymous

you can also use them at Walgreens to make a dollar. 3.99 get 1RR back

    • Pnutele77

Nestle Deal also includes the individual Skinny Cows, unfortunately I used my coupons last week at Publix cause I needed to get them for my household and only had two of the B1G1 for the individual. Wish I could remember where I got them!!

    • Goonies3

I didn’t see the advertised softsoap body was for $2.99 today, I did see the softsoap 15-18oz bottles for $4.99 and I attempted to buy the Dawn today, and the cashier told me it was on sale last week for $0.99  I double checked the item on the CVS website in my zipcode and it was there, any ideas????

      • Anonymous

scan it maybe they forgot to put the signs up

      • Dharvn

the cashier is mistaken, it was on sale 2 weeks ago along with the gas card promo…. and now it is back on sale this week but sadly w/limit 5 and no gas card promo.

    • Katblue1987

Has anyone had any luck finding the colgate coupon? I clicked the link but I can’t find it.Thanks!

I’m not sure, but when I clicked on the Irish Spring .50 coupon, it sent me to a colgate page.  I didn’t really look at it cause I think it was weird.  Maybe that’s it?

        • Katblue1987

Thanks! I did find a 1.00 off  there for the Sensitive Pro Relief.

    • TED8365

Can’t believe you found 16 boxes of Finish Dishwasher Packs!  Impressive!

        • My store had about 20 when I went on Sunday.

      • Ctcjsbag5

Who needs 16 boxes of Finish?

        • Doublezizzle

          dishes never stop getting dirty!

        • For three families (which is what she says) that would not be all that much…I would think.  In my house we run the diswasher about every 2-3 days, eating in most nights, husband and I both work from home so dishes are used all day long.  Just sayin.

        • TED8365

mom and daughter run theres every other day and there is 4 of us in my household, 3 work, one in school and we have breakfast each morning and dinner each evening and we all pack lunch so we have tupperware and utinsels coming back each afternoon, so we run it at night(last one to bed starts it and washing machine) so we sue one tab per day, one box lasts not quite a month.  so it was a great deal for us and makes it easier for us to keep up and not order or eat out for convienence, wish i had 16 more boxes!!!!

        • Michelle

Why on earth is it any of your business??  She shouldn’t have to explain herself to you or anyone else.  Good grief!

    • Susanizanurse

Went to CVS after leaving Walgreens frustrated & reaffirming why I haven’t couponed at Walgreens but once in the past 3+ months …  At CVS:

      (4) 4.5# bags Puppy Chow
      (4) 4.5# bags Dog Chow
      (2) Pantene shampoo
      (1) Herbal Essence shampoo
      (1) Always pantyliner
      (2) Nestle Crunch bars
      (2) Rephresh tampons
      (2) Softsoap bath wash

My total oop was $10.36 after coupons & ECBs. Ditching my Walgreens hangover – PRICELESS!

      • Lindz821

Hi. I want to get more than one of the Rephresh tampon deals however it says “Limit 1”; how did you get 2 of them?  Thaks!

        • Dharvn

you can always buy more, but you will only get the extracare bucks once.

        • Anonymous

She probably has a card for her husband.

    • Lindz821

I cannot find the $5 off Bengay in any of my RP’s. Anyone else having this problem?

      • Anonymous

These must have been regional because I didn’t get one either (Columbia, SC).

        • Ally

We did here in Central FL. Both Daytona News Journal and the Orlando Sentinel.

      • Anonymous

I got 5 off bengay coupon in ss

    • Bekahbekah7

There is a $1/1 soft soap body wash coupon out there from the walgreens summer coupon booklet from a few months ago, it’s a manufacturer coupon.

    • Gingiraffe

There is a mail-in rebate for Carmex Moisture Plus on the product in CVS stores.  $2.99 back and it sells for $3.19 – makes it 19 cents.

    • Bamagirl1997

I had 11.68 worth of expired CVS bucks, had asked about them, got different answers.  I thought I would try just giving them to the cashier and see what happened.  She took them, no problem.  They expired last month, which is what I had heard before if they were within 30 days.  So glad, did not want to lose that!

      • yes depends on the store. where I used to live one guy said 3 months, another guy at the same store said a week lol. The store near me now said well only a few days lol just depends

    • Ctcjsbag5

Reach dental floss and Access flosser are on sale for .99 cents this week.  It was unadvertised.

    • LizB1979

I can not for the life of me,  find my $10 ECB print out from a couple weeks back.  This is the first time I have lost one & I figured I would ask if there was any way that CVS can look it up or credit it or if I just bite the bullet and start over…lol

      • Proudlyamom

If you have an online account (& maybe if you don’t), you can re-print them.

      • same as what others said, or call customer service they can send it to your card to print out at the machine

    • Tiya

A lot of people complain about people having multiple cards. I have
multiple cards but not because I signed up for two. I had my regular
card and then because my insurance changed they gave me a different card
with extra benefits including percentage off CVS brands. I already had
ECBs attached to the old card so I was not gonna throw them away. I am rolling my ECBs on both cards. I do not clear shelves, but I get deals that benefit my family.
If CVS wanted to eliminate multiple cards, they could do it. My
intentions are to eliminate the old card by buying the much needed paper
towels and toilet tissue as soon as one of the stores stocks up.

      • Angie

You can call 1-800-SHOP-CVS and they can balance transfer your “credits” on the old card to the new card so you don’t lose them.

        • Tiya

Thanks I didn’t know that. That would be easier.

      • SarahR

We have two for the same reason.  They sent my husband one because his prescriptions are through CVS/Caremark.  His card gets the e-mail coupons so I use his more often.  I use one or the other, never both in one trip.

    • Does anyone have any Dog Chow coupons they are not going to use?

    • Barnesaubrey

Tonight was my first real time couponing at cvs and I got 59.00 worth of products for 10.00!  Yeah!!!

    • Savn2gether

Just got back from shopping! I’ve seen a few questions concerning the air wick kits as I prepared my list. I was able to get the starter kits for $4.99 (the sales price wasn’t liisted on the shelf, but it scanned that way at the coupon machine). Also, the $4 coupon also worked for the refills. So, I was able to get 1 starter kit and 3 packs of refills (plus a jet dry rinse) for the $10 ecb deal. I thought that might help anyone still planning their list!

      • Anonymous

Just because the q worked for the refills doesn’t mean that you should’ve used it for that.  That was definitely a misuse of that q.  Manufacturers are going to stop putting qs out because of people misusing them.  If the q states kit, it means kit!!!  It says clearly what the manufacturer wants to give you a discount on and that is what you should use it on.

    • Lindsey_821

I had a successful couponing trip yesterday at CVS however as usual, most of the items I went to buy were gone! This is very frustrating week to week and with my work schedule, I go as soon as I find the time!

      • Teri

Lindsey get rain checks so that you can also get in on the deal. They will also write how many ECBs you should get on the rain check.

    • Anonymous

      CVS 9/14 trip
Newton this, 2 colgate optic white, 4 airwick kit each 4.99
      used
      (2) 1 off CVS colgate optic white,

      (4) 4 off airwick kit 9/11 ss
Free newtons thins from red machine
      oop= 6.94+ tax
      ECB received = 10, 3
      profit $6

      • Barnesaubrey

where did you find the cvs colgate optic white coupons? :)

        • Anonymous

its on cvssavingcentral site….and its still availble

    • Jjfrugalfriends

The dawn plus is included in the dawn that’s on sale this week isn’t it? If I have a $1 coupon they should adjust the coupon down shouldn’t they?

      • yes its included, but most of the stores ive been to they were out pretty quickly. but also look towards the front because they can be placed on different shelves for customers to see. The cashier told me I could use my hand renewal coupon for a regular dawn product since the hand renewal was out. Fine with me since the regular dawn has more ounces in it!

    • Judy

It looks like CVS could limit the Extra Bucks card to one per household if they really wanted too.. They get your address and could simply say one per address you can’t have another one in your Husbands name etc.  So why doesn’t cvs do that?

      • Anonymous

That would not help people that have roommates.  Dont penalize the good people for what the bad ones do.. Thats why we  have to have an ID to buy allegra D and why we cant buy spray paint if under age 18 and other nonsense ….because of how others misuse and abuse.

    • Carrie

Still new to the coupon thing, do you have to do seperate transactions?

      • Anonymous

NO you do not have to do seperate transactions.  Doing seperate transactions reduces what you pay out of pocket in the beginning.  I tend to do one large transaction.  I spent more my first time but then I have way more ECBs left over for teh next week.  For example; Jenny starts her week with just 2ECBs from last week.  I am starting mine with 22.  If I did Jenny’s transactions I would spend nothing OOP and have almost 30ECBs left for next week.  It all works out over teh long run just do whichever you feel more comfortable doing.

        • Good to know. I kind of wondered if separate transactions actually saved you more money or not. It didnt seem to me like it would (since addition and subtraction are commutative) but it sure feels like Im spending more.

    • Tjt1397

Had a great day at CVS today!  Bought tons of stuff for only $30.  That’s not the best i have ever done, but I had to buy some big stuff today.  Love this site! thanks!

    • Ssmithet

The Conair promotion actually does not exclude clearance items.  I found a straightener/flat iron on clearnace for less than $9.99 and it gave me the $5 extrabucks.  I did not see a limit on this offer.  I got the $9.99 hair dryer and then later got the clearance flat iron.  Both gave me the $5 ecb.

    • Beth Anne Saves

I am SOOO confused on that $10 ecb for household products. My mom went and bought 4 airwick air freshners for $4.99 used $4 off coupons and on her receipt got $10ECB for buying select household products. But then on the bottom of our reciept it says she needs $0.04 to get $10 ECB so do we need to get some other household item to get another $10 ECB. Is this right? I’m so confused…

      • hmm..I didnt know they included tax for what you have to spend, because 4×4.99 is 19.96 which is 4 cents from spending 20 dollars. Are you sure that the 10 dollars she already received wasnt from another deal? With what you said it seems as if she IS 4 cents from THAT deal because she wasnt quite at 20, I could be mistaken but they have never included tax for the deals at any of the stores I’ve been to. Otherwise, I tend to not look at the bottom of the receipts because those “spend this much til you get this” are so confusing to me. I had a raincheck from last week’s “spend 15 in dove products, get 5 ecb back” but had a rain check for the last dove because they didnt have enough on the shelf. so i finally got the third bottle today, the 5 dollars printed out, so i thought that deal was done. but at the bottom of the receipt it says I spent 6 dollars toward another deal. even if this week had the same deal, the code for last week’s was entered so it shouldnt have counted towards this one. been doing this for awhile and still dont understand how the bottom of the receipts work

        • Beth Anne Saves

thanks. we’re going to go back tomorrow and buy some finish or something else on the promotion and see what happens. I know it’s sooo strange because i also bought the Herbal Essence and I only bought 2 (the limit is 3) and it says I need to buy 1 more for some promotion. I need to get a job writing the receipts for these stores so that a monkey could figure them out lol

      • Phillips

You only spent $19.96 on the Airwicks, but it gave you the $10 ECB anyway since you were so close to $20.00. It does say you have to spend $.04 more, but you will NOT get another $10.00 ECB if you buy another product. I just did this deal a couple of days ago and have also done some just like it in the past. The computer knows and will not issue another $10 ECB if you buy another product. They do this because a lot of their prices end in $.99 and in the past customers got mad that they had to purchase a whole extra product to get the ECBs when they were only pennies away. I hope this helps.

    • I’m almost always the only person in the store scanning my card to get the coupons and people look at me so weird cuz it does that loud music. The ONLY time I’ve EVER seen someone scan it was last year this 80+ year old woman came in behind me and said “any good coupons today?” (so cute lol). Once in a blue moon I’ll see someone scan to see the price of something. I always want to tell every customer in the store to scan their card especially when theres a free item coupon but I’m scared that 1) they might not get that coupon and get mad for wasting their time, 2) store clerk will get mad, or 3) they’ll look at me weird or they dont even have a card and then I’ll feel embarrassed lol. I dont know why, I’m not shy but everyone seems to be in a huge rush in CVS but it’s weird i’m always the only one

      • Beth Anne Saves

I agree!! There was supposed to be a free one but I didn’t get it. Actually we only got 1 coupon today it was so weird! I don’t care I always check you never know what you’ll get.

Last week was the first time I ever saw people use it and they were couponing like us hehe

      • Cqueen1

Make sure to always scan your card twice when you scan it  it will give you a second set of different coupons

    • angie e

I use to be able to do this(view ECB’s online), but for months now I never have any ECB’s available to view. Kinda of a pain, not sure why it quit working, but it did.

      • LizB1979

        Yeah :(  I can’t see them online.

    • Marilynmanente

Has anyone had an issue with not getting credit for prescriptions if you have BCBS federal insurance? This is a group health insurance for federal employees, not funded by federal gov. When entered into the system the code automatically prompts to a federal code. I’m in the process of investigating this, but wondered if anyone else has had this problem.

      • Anonymous

I have that insurance, but am not familiar with what you are talking about.  Please post what you find out.  Thanks!

just went to CVS…bought $187.97 worth of product for $35… :-)

    • Catherine W Brewer

Jenny has several Upromise e-coupone offers listed this week.I was not offered the e-coupons for the Charmin, Bounty, or Puffs. Does anyone have any ideas about why I wasn’t offered them? didn’t use the ones from last month, live outside a certain area, only can offer a certain number or something I can’t think of. I also joined saving star & wasn’t offered these there. Thanks for your ideas.

    • Cpshirey

Just thought I would mention this and give a heads up on the Rephresh ph tampons.  I printed the coupon that Jenny had, took it to my CVS this morning when I ran errands, they would not accept it because  it was an ” illegal”  coupon because it was “copied” not the orginal.  Has anyone else ran into this?  I would like to know if it is just the one in Calera, AL  or everywhere?  Seems like they are getting harder to please!  Almost every coupon has the phrase “void if copied” on them. Right?
