Wow, punctuation is your friend.  We’re not trying to decifer new languages here.

        • Lori

          Chill out, crazygrl.

      • AndreaJGrossman

Whats the deal on the Palmolive?

      • Sandra

        What is the palmolive deal?

      • 2smart2u

the palmolive deal is the colgate palmolive on page 4 lady speed stick, colgate total etc buy 12 get 6 ecb back combine with coupons and ecb from shave cream money maker it was a great deal

    • Just4yall

The Skintimate deal is and is not an Error. They even have displays with it posted in the Red and Yellow signs. The error part comes in where it is supposed to be a limit of 1 not 100 they will be fixing that if they have not already.

      • AmandaMiclle

A coupon blog I read said they already changed it to a limit of 5.

        • anna

It said that on my receipt but every time I bought them it keeps printing the ecbs and saying quantity needed to earn reward 1

      • Shelly Nabb

It’s 1:50am PST here and still hasn’t been fixed. :)

    • Livserge331

Some of the John Frieda hair color shades are 75% off which makes them 3.24. There was a $3 off coupon in the 12/04 SS (exp 2/01 so hurry), which makes them less than 50 cents with tax. Just check the box at the scan center first to make sure it’s on sale.

    • Mcclellanda79

I got 2 1 Oz axe bodyspray on 75% clearance for .54. I used them as filler items. Plus since my husband travel alot for work, he has the travel size.

    • guest

Meaning you can do it five times= $4 EB x 5?

    • Esyke623

Hmm.  I don’t think my store is doing this.  I tried buying the Schick shave gel, but I didn’t get any ecbs from it.  When I scanned the Skintimate shave gel at the red machine, it didn’t show a difference in price, and the price was around $4.15.  I didn’t see any other shave gels.  Anyone else having this problem?  Congrats to all those who were able to get it!

      • Jnn_horan

only the shick hydro sensitive  and the skintimate skin therapy was prinitng the ebc.

    • Guest

I went this morning and bought 5 Skintimate shave gels for 3.89 each, and received 20 extra care bucks!  It’s a real deal, they have a sign below the shave gel.

    • Guest

I went to 3 different CVS locations today and 2 of them were offering the shave gel offer, and 1 was not.  I’m sure it’s a glitch, but let’s get a deal while we can, right?  In the stores that did have it, it did say limit 100.  And the great thing is that the schick hydro gel was included and on the end-cap, they had a $2 off coupon on it.  So not only were the schicks free, but they were a $2.11 mm.  Score!

    • Moe

This is true,I purchased 4 this morning with each with $2 peelies on them and got back in $16 in ecb’s!  :)

    • Pollard

I just went to CVS for the shave cream deal, they said they just received an email from corporate saying this was an error.  They were taking the $4.00 RR sign off and said corporate was suppose to be correcting this.  I had already bought mine before they removed the signs.  I live in central FL.

      • Just4yall

LOL error. They printed it not just on tag but on Boxes!! Then made spots for the Shave gel in those boxes. Are they really saying it was an error?

      • AndreaJGrossman

I am in Melbourne… It was working for me earlier today. :/

    • Coupon Girl

I just bought 5 shave creams, 2 planters peanuts and 1 reeses peanut butter egg, and CVS paid me to take them out of the store. My total was 17.96 and got back 20 ECB :)

    • Niddi

so glad I got in on the skintemate shave gel before it was fixed. Mine didn’t have the peelies and I didn’t have coupons but free is GOOD. I only bought the sensitive skin ones and left all the scented for someone else. Made a bunch of Christmas baskets and my supply was depleated. Nice to be ablestock up again.

    • Anonymous

I missed out on the Skintimates. They were all gone from the display. Either someone wiped them all out or the store pulled them. No Tom’s tearpads or clearanced mouthwash to be found. And the only Easter candy were the Cadbury eggs. Was anyone able to find the advertised Reese’s or Hershey’s?
At any rate, my trip wasn’t the success I had envisioned.

      • Mcclellanda79

You should have looked in the isle. The end cap ones were the first to go since those had peelies.

      • Bamasaver

I got one of the Reese eggs, but realized later that the ECB didn’t print :(

    • Christie

I just got the Shaving gels, about 30 min ago… 3:30pm. So if it’s an error, It’s not fixed yet…. They all had signs for them to…

    • Wendylane4au

My CVS had the pullups for 75% clearance which made them $4.69 plus my $2 off coupon!!!

    • Tpierre27

Just came from CVS and my store just put the $4 ECB signs on thr skintimate shave gel. I bought 4 with $2 off coupon attached. I got $16 in ECB back. Wooo Whoooo! Plenty left for others.

    • Brewerbaby06

I went by my CVS in HSV to do the RIGHTGUARD deal and they had some on clearance! 75%  So I got what was left only 4 @ $1.14 and had (2) $1/2 right guard products and then still got $2 ECB printed!!

    • Amy

Double check your Cadbury eggs, mine didn’t ECB.  I called CVS and they’ll take care of it when I come back, but it would have been easier in store.  There is a $6.00 ECB deal on Colgate and Dry Idea, plus a buy one get one dry idea coupon, and several valid colgate coupons for $1.00,  Both are on sale.  I cot 4 Colgates, and 2 dry ideas for $10.00, got $6.00 ECB, and in this eeks coupons, there is a $5.00 rebate on cogate for black history week.  It was a moneymaker!!

      • Bamasaver

The Reese egg didn’t print my ECB either :(

    • gkhtoys

I just got back from our local CVS and I scored 8 cans w/$2 off coupons on each one!  Made a $12 profit on it all!

    • gkhtoys

The limit is 100 per household according to the tag!

      • canes

lol my CVS crossed out the 100 and put limit 1 they had about 20 of them(no peelies) but i didnt want to risk buying them all to get 1-4ECB

        • Tala

I was in the store 1,5 hours ago. It had about 18 skintimates different kind and 2 Schick – sensative skin. I bought 8. 5 in one trasaction and 3 in another one.

    • Kensav006

I got 3 of the skintimate for 3.59 each and the dawn dishwashing detergent had .50 cents coupon used ecb from hallmark cards 3.00 and .87 cents from egg and 7.00 ecb from previous transaction got back 12.00 ecb paid only 1.57 oop oh buy the way mine did not have the 2.00 peelies on them.

    • Daughterofdarkness13

Anyone From central southern VA That knows anything about the shave gel deal

    • April

Went to my local CVS and they said it was only for certain types (the Sensitive Skin Schick wasn’t included). Unfortunately, the girl also told me that someone had been in earlier and bought EIGHT cans. I mean, how greedy can you be? Needless to say, they were ALL out.

      • Mcclellanda79

The men.s Schick sensitive skin hydrogel is included in the deal. I bought 4 today and got the ecb for $16.

        • April

I’ll have to stop by there today if I get a chance and see if they’ll do the sensitive skin one. They only had the tags in front of the regular Schick and the Skintimate in the pink can (I’m guessing…because there were none left for me to see), and one of cashiers told the cashier who was ringing me up that is was ONLY for the ones where the tags were. Go figure.

          • Ginger

Went today and did not get ecbs and I bought exactly what was said to buy

      • Ashley

I hate it when that happens :( especially when you had your whole trip planned out.

        • April

Yep, and I only wanted one can of each. One for my husband, one for me. I just
just think it’s crappy that someone would buy them completely out. Even
if they buy 3 or 4, at least leave 4 on the shelf to give someone else a
chance to buy it, too. Ya know? But I was able to get a few other clearance items. Colgate kid’s toothbrushes (Spongebob) were 50% off, and I had a 25% coupon on my entire purchase, so that was good. They also had quite a few shower gels on clearance. Tone, Nivea and the CVS brand of some sort. (only certain ones, of course)
So, if you need shower gel, be sure to check out your CVS before the ones on clearance get bought up by one stinky person who needs 10 bottles!

      • Jnn_horan

The hydro sensitive is the one you need to buy.

        • Ginger

I bought 2 of the sensitive hydro and 2 skinmatick and they didn’t give me any ecbs

      • Stefluvs2sign

at my CVS it was ONLY the Sensitive Hydro not the regular.

    • SCarolinaBrooklyn

I got 12 cans of shave gel. I have always frowned on shelf clearing but I think we all have that one product where we say sorry you should of beat me! For me that’s shave gel. I’m sharing these with my mom and friends!

    • Michelle Eck

I got my 4 cans of Skintimate, 3 greeting cards, 1 cadburry egg, 2 dawn, 2 bags of reeces pieces, 1 chocolate milk (for my son), 2 Natural Instincts Hair Color (both free), 4 deordorant, 2 body wash.  Total OOP = $13.77.  Came home with $10 ECB.  Of course, the unplanned chocolate milk was $1.55!  Not too shabby.

    • Stefluvs2sign

Don’t hate me but I got to CVS and the shelves were bare bc it WAS advertised at my CVS (there were tags indicating it had the $4 ECB). I voiced how bummed I was they were out and the manager opened 2 cases! One for the Skintimate and one for the Hydro and SCORE EACH CAN HAD A $2 PEELIE STUCK TO THEM! WOOT WOOT!!!!! I bought 4 cans of each and paid $16 (really only $6 bc I had $10 gift card from the coke deal last week) and I have $32 in ECB’s to spend. FYI I bought 8 cans bc we have 5 people in our house that shave not bc I am greedy.

      • April

Then why not just buy 5 cans? 1 per person who shaves? That way someone else out there who shaves could have gotten in on this awesome deal and saved $4, too? To me, that IS greedy. Sorry.

        • :)

Maybe a couple of them participated in “No Shave November” and really needed some extra for all that hair..lol

        • Christie

Wow how rude are you….. VERY… Well then this will make you real mad. I bought 6 mens and 4 womans, WHY because it’s a GREAT deal and I stocked up so I will not run out and have to pay FULL price for it..Isn’t that what Couponing is about (Stock up at the best price) Maybe by the time I run out it will be on sale again… U coupon police people  need to chill …. Sorry.

          • April

Yes, I was the rude one. Thanks for pointing it out. I will try to be more understanding from now on when it comes to stocking up and shelf clearing, and   remember that being a couponer means there are no rules of courtesy…especially if it will mean you truly can’t stock up on an item. But seriously, I need to put most of the blame on CVS for not being well-stocked on an item they KNOW will be in demand. How’s that?

            • Judy

Yes, blame CVS for only having a few on the shelf.  I missed out on this deal, but I am not mad at others, I am glad they got the deal. You could have got a raincheck and all would be well.

            • April

I just really need some sleep. Believe me, shaving gel is not so important in my life that I need to argue over it. I’ve been stressed, I’ve lost a lot of sleep dealing with two sick kids, and of course trying to keep up with house cleaning (nothing sours a mood like a messy house). I am SO sorry I ever posted in the first place. I don’t expect anyone to understand any of this, but I’m hoping that at least one of you understand how easy it is to mentally “snap” after a rough couple of weeks. I apologize. Now, please go enjoy your shave gel. :-)

            • Remember

I bought 24 packs of the 75% off Pull ups.  Yes, I wiped them clean. Do I feel bad, NOPE! Because over hald will go to chairty.  Please do not judge people on hat they buy…as you do not know who/where the supplies are going.

        • Occupy

Oh for goodness sake. A person who lives alone is considered a “household”. Does a person who lives alone “deserve” more shaving cream (or anyhting else) than a person who lives w/ others?
And CVS will write rainchecks that included ECBs so “get over it”

      • Raquel in FL

I think that is fine if you take all or not, if you wanted it then you should have gotten there faster!

        • April

You know, you’re right. I’m just a lazy couponer who needs to be at the store when the doors open. Nevermind  the fact that I’ve had two sick kids under the age of 5 to care for,  or that I haven’t gotten more than 4 hours of sleep each night for the past week. Or the fact that I have other things to do outside of couponing  that might prevent me from rushing to CVS for a can of shaving gel.  Yep, next time I’ll try to be a little quicker. Thanks for the valuable lesson.

           :-)

If you were lucky enough to get the FREE John Frieda Foam hair color coupon in the mail buy it this week at CVS. Buy $15 in John Frieda products get $5 ECB. Well the hair color is $12 (free) and the shampoos and conditioners are $5 so it is like getting it FREE! Hurry that coupon you got in the mail expires Wednesday 2/1.

    • Amberlee30

I bought the Huggies Pullups (also on sale is the 3T-4T) and although the sign says 50% off at $9.74, they actually rang up at 75% at $4.96..plus I had a $2 off coupon..WOOHOO!!

      • Thom

I got the same deal Amberlee30 and I almost screamed in the store. Those things are regularly $19.99 and I got them for under 5 bucks. I had the $6 ECB from an earlier deal and one $2 coupon. So I purchased 2 packs for a dollar and some change. OMG, you can’t beat that with two sticks!!! (My mom says that).

    • Spammy81

      • Busycarebear

what coupons did you have to match the colgate?  I did not have any CVS ones left except for colgate sensitive and I did not know if it works on the 2.74 sale colgate sensitive.

      • Thom

I’m high fiving you too Spammy81. That $5 rebate is making my 5 dollars and some change trip to CVS yesterday come down to just change! And I’m on my way to a second ECB reward and another $5 rebate! Gotta love couponing!!

    • Rena

      • always_smile1st

Me too.  I could not believe it.  Dallas Texas

    • Mamaeaves

I have to say CVS is a great place to get really good deals! I am a mother of 8. Me and my husband do every thing we can to meet each and everyone of there needs. I started doing couponing within the last year and a half and have saved wow can’t even tell ya but a TON! And even though at times i see things on the self and I no we could of used all of them, but yet I can’t bring myself not to leave some for the next person as we no how upset we get when there are none left! :( I Get a TON of inserts every week as i go into around my town and pick them outta the trash its just tossing money away! I’m always up for Trades So if anyone is in need of anything let me no. I’m looking for Breathright strip coupons as we didn’t get any just some for my Mom and Dad. Let me know whatever you all may be looking for Thanks! Amanda mamaeaves@yahoo.com

    • Aaron

There’s a Living Social deal to get a $20 CVS gift card for $10 right now!

      • Christie

ugh, couldn’t find it, what city…

      • Gesswho

        expired

    • Confessions

I got a couple of cans of skintimate on the Southside of Atlanta this morning and the deal worked fine. I told my mom who lives East of Atlanta. She tried to get 3 cans at her CVS and NO extrabucks printed. She had the right ones, the Skin Therapy 7oz. size. So, has CVS corrected this deal and stopped it completely? Anyone else have success with the Skintimate deal after lunchtime on TUes?

      • Merdie

ECB’s did not print for me but they still had the sign up, so they printed them for me manually. They still had a ton of both kinds when I went…I’m tempted to go back!

    • momoffive

I just got 4 Schick Hydro shave gels and no ecb’s printed. They did fix it for me though since the sign was still up. I also had $1 off coupons. Awesome deal! No skinmates left, though, got a raincheck. My CVS takes expired coupons up to a week and forever if they are with a raincheck. :)

      • Christie

It’s only on the Senitive ones, not the reg… If you bought the Sen. I’m glad they fixed it

    • Mcclellanda79

Cheap chocolate. This is a sale not clearance so it.s probably only good this week. In the Valentine candy section are butterfinger 2.1 Oz bars with 2 for $1 printed on the wrapper. My daughter (who likes to price check everything) scanned and they showed .25 each (reg. .50, sale .25). This would be a great fillet item if you are only cents away from your value needed or ecb redemption amount.

    • Mcclellanda79

I also want to know if anyone else has a store that does not put out clearance tags? I went to a store other than my usual today and didn.t have even 1 clearance tag anywhere in the entire store. I had to individually take items (that I had seen on clearance at my store) to the price scanner to see if it was on clearance at that store as well. Took me over 30 minutes to get the items I wanted. Got 2 bic disp. Razors, 2 old spice bodywashes, 3 Tampax pearls, 1 always pads, and 4 of the below mentioned butterfingers. Paid $8 plus change for everything.

      • Mccrary612

This also happened to me, fortunately I found a friendly clerk with a hand scanner who scanned all the hair dye for me and picked out the clearance!

    • Merdie

Had a great day at CVS!

      1 Reeces Egg
      3 American Greeting Cards
      5 Shaving Creams
      1 Pull-Ups
      2 Colgates
and I must be forgetting something!

Redeemed $7 ECB and paid $29 OOP but got $29.87 ECB’s back! Exciting, hope next weeks ad is good so I can spend my ECB’s!

I went to 2 CVS stores in Charlotte, NC and didn’t see anything about the shave cream.  No endcap, etc.  Anyone else in Charlotte find a store with this deal?

      • Vrgreene

I bought some in Matthews this morning and it worked ( no tags) but my sister bought some this afternoon and it didn’t wotk . Yesterday in Monroe the store had a sales tag.

Heads up to all Beauty Club members.  Please make sure you are carefully checking your balances.  After the reset at the begining of the year most razors and shaving lotions were taken out of the system and are not counting towards your balance.  I spent about two hours on the phone with extra care this morning for myself and my daughter trying to get it straightened out.

Finally after being told over 5 times by the rude guy on the phone and his supervisor that they didn’t qualify for the beauty club they allowed me to speak and show them on the cvs website where it clearly states that razors and shaving lotion are included.  They then credited my account.  When I called back the second time for my daughter they said they just recieved an email about a whole bunch of items that were deleted but shaving wasn’t on the list so I had to go throug the whole story again to get it fixed.  Needless to say she told me that even if they do fix it in the system soon more than likely it will not be retro active to items already purchased.

My advice is to go back to January 1 and check all your reciepts.  With all the clearance shampoo, hair color, razors, make up and lotions I purchased along with regular sale items my totals were off over $150.   That’s $15 free ECB’s.

Please make sure you call Extra Care to let them know.  The more people that call and complain the faster they will get it fixed.  To find it on the website to show the customer service agent (they will not believe you) search for Beauty club in the search box.  When the box comes up to search for qualifying items choose skin care/for men/shaving and hair removal and three pages of razors and shave gel will appear.  Remember it takes 48 hours for purchases to appear on your balance.  Good Luck.

      • Jane

Good for you setting them straight! I feel like customer service people so often just make stuff up when something doesn’t work or goes wrong instead of asking around and figuring out why. So frustrating sometime.

      • Leah

I think CVS has had trouble with the Beauty Club since they changed it. I had to contact them to get my 5ECB I earned last year. I was not able to go to CVS before the year changed and the 5ECB disappeared (I imagine). I kept my receipts because I figured it might be a problem. They have fixed this for me. . . but the lesson is keep those receipts!

Why is it that the people who were not able to get the shaving gels are being SOOOO hateful…. Sometimes you win, sometimes you don’t …. But don’t take it out on the people who were able to score this GREAT deal… Who cares if they got 2 or 20…. My store only carries 6 of each at one time so no one got 20-30 at one store… They traveled around so they deserve it…CHILL PEOPLE…

      • KatSlay

I agree.  I have had to learn to go early if I want the really good deals.  And to be honest, it isn’t right to assume that someone bought ALL that was on the shelves.  Perhaps many people bought a few but they all just got there first.  Secondly, really the store should put more out.  And I know several people who buy for more than just their family.  My family donates much of the stuff that I get from couponing.  I find that our dollar goes further when we coupon and donate than just giving a $1.

    • Julie A.

Hey all, the speed stick deal is a great MM. I bought  6 deodorants @ $1.99, used 3 B1G1 q’s. The q took $3.99 off instead of the $1.99 so in essence the  q paid for both deodorants. I paid $0 oop and got $6 ECB back! Going back tomorrow to see if I can get another 6. I heard it worked for some people and other still had to pay OOP. Guess it will just depend on your store. Still a great deal either way.

      • Squeakinby

I did the same thing here in North Port , Florida…..awesome deal!

At my CVS in Millbrook, AL- The pull-ups were $4.74 and I had a $2.00 off coupon. I only had one, but I am grateful to this site!

    • Couponing_mom3

I went to a CVS that I normally don’t shop at today and they had hair dye on sale for 2.49 each I got 6 of them, I also got 2 root touch ups that was on clearance for 1.24. I used 3 $5.00 off and 2 $2.00 off. ended up only paying 62 cents oop. I was super excited!!! :)

    • mommaofcrazypants

I know CVS has had hair color on clearance for a few weeks but I found a pretty good deal the other day on accident while looking for John Frieda stuff. They had certain shades of John Frieda color foam on markdown for 3.49 and there is a q out there for 3.00 off which made it only .49 oop. These normally retail between 12-15 dollars apiece depending on where you buy them and I been using them for several months and think it’s the best product out there.

I bought the hydro sensitive this morning…no sale signs…and crossed my fingers that EB would print, but they didn’t:(  Will CVS take it back if I bring my receipt next time I go? $4.39 is too much for shave gel. I guess this sale wasn’t in all stores.

      • Testifying

Yes, they will take it back.  I just had the same issue.  It appears that they have updated their system and now it will only print the ECBs on the razor.

        • Guest

Thanks.  Bummer, I missed the sale:/

      • Guest

Just walked out of CVS.  Bought the hydro sensitive with 2$ peelies  NO ECB!  The sign was still up so the cashier printed them off for me

    • Precious2mama

I didnt see it posted anywhere but hte Men’s Dove+Care Deodarent is clearance out to $1.22 and there is a $1/1 RP 1/2 making them $0.22ea…..

      • luv2save

Only the Unscented were on clearance at our store. And they were all sold out this morning.  Is there another scent that you found on clearance?  I scanned another to check, but it was full price.

    • luv2save

Just went to the CVS in Clayton and the Shave Gel signs were STILL out, most were picked over, as I expected –  I honestly thought all would be gone since I was so late on this.  But there were 4 left, and I grabbed them and also some of the speed stick BOGO and the Right Guard deals with coupons.  My totoal after Q’s and and ECB I had was abt $18 OOP.  I received 2 ECB for Right Guard, but nothing for shave gel.  When I mentioned there was a tag stating ECB on the shave gel, the cashier said, those should have been reviewed bc it was a computer error, but since her team did not do what she asked them to do, she would honor.  I just got home home and checked the ECB she printed for me – it was for $24!!!  Maybe she thought I had bought 6?  Anyway, spent 18 and got $26 in ECB – good deal for a late player in the shave gel deal if I do say so my self :)

    • Guest

Personally I love the stores that do not properly put out there signage. This site typically gives me a heads up and I go price check the items to be sure of the cost. This error on their part typically keeps more items on the shelf because people complain about having to check prices for themselves even to benefit from a great deal. Two stores in my area never update their prices in a timely fashion so they always look crazy when I checkout with clearance items. Good for me and boo for you if that extra momement is a waste of your time…

      • couponmama3

Me too! It’s funny, if there’s a sign on something people will buy it all, even if it isn’t a great deal- just because it’s “on sale”.

    • Randa

I went yesterday and the signs on the end cap with the Schick ECB’s were present.  The Skintimate ones were also, but were not on All of the 7 ounce varieties.  One of the CVS staff showed me that the deal, on the Skintimate in particular, was limit 100* per household, and this deal does not end until 2/25!!!  She did say that sometimes these signs automatically get pulled by mistake after the weekly sales end.  So there should be enough time for us all to take advantage of it.  I will also ad that I purchased one Schick and one Skintimate and the cashier had to force print them because they did not do so automatically.

    • Lowes91

Went in my CVS store today and checked to see if they still had the shave gel and of course they didn’t but the 4.00ECB tag was still there so I asked for a raincheck and  was told that I would still receive my 4.00ECBs since the tag was still up, the cashier took the tag down and taped it to the back of my raincheck in case I have any problems getting the ECBs back on them..Love CVS

    • Thom

The Lady’s Speed stick at the CVS in Hillcrest is .94. Good deal but I fell short of the $10 needed for the rebate. Ha!. May have to buy a couple more to get it.

      • Ginger

what rebate is everyone talking about

        • Tthompsonjob

Sunday paper had a Black History Month $5.00 Rebate. Buy $10 of qualifying product and get $5. This is from Colgate. Cant remember which insert though.

          • Ginger

            Thanks I’ll look for it

            • Johnpurcellministries

It was on the same page as the BOGO free coupon for the speed stick.

      • Bwissing

It does say “buy Palmolive products in the same transaction” ..think it will work if you have two receipts?

    • Guest

I printed out a list and my store had NONE of these deals, I’m discouraged from couponing as my local stores never seem to have these same deals. Don’t think this is for me….I’ve wasted way to much time on finding the lists and coupon for deals that are never what they seem.

      • Dsmith41098

Do you get a raincheck when stock is out? Those help a lot. I have long ago figured it I REALLY want or need it I will A. Not get the coupon, B. Store will have none or C. the deal will not work for me as it did for someone else. But I STILL save a lot and am a much wiser shopper b/c of the info I get. Look at it as lifestyle and not a lottery :) Good Luck

      • Hairxpert4

find out if your cvs starts its deals saturday at 4 or 5pm. I found if i don’t get there by sunday morning, most deals are sold out. I dont like rain checks so i go to another cvs that is slower and larger, and usually it works out fine, but timing is everything with so many of us couponing! good luck!

      • Rk

Spend your time at the Grocery stores.  CVS and Walgreens are very frustrating–especially to the new couponer.  My CVS NEVER stocks up on sale items so I basically do not go there for anything anymore.  I get GREAT deals at the supermarket and have not missed this stress.

        • V_wainright

One way I learned to work this out at CVS and Walgreens was to find out when the trucks delivered that week. Usually the items were then in stock when I go, like Wed/Thurs in the late afternoon before 5:00.

      • Anonymous

Some of them are programming mistakes that are good until they are corrected in the system. In the mean time, people wipe out stock. If you don’t get there first thing, chances are they will be gone.

      • Rclay18

Get rainchecks. CVS rainchecks include the sale price and ECBs and they are good FOREVER! :-)

    • tee54

cvs no 4.00 ecb’s but did find 2.00 coupon on each skintimate.,so got my $ 4.00 . I was late in the week going to cvs so all the  close outs were gone as usual. but did get the pepsi products.

    • couponmama3

At my local CVS, pull ups & good nites were 75% off! Plus pair a $2 Q for the pull ups, made a $19.99 pack cost 2.99.

    • Mrsrichardsontobe5

can any one tell me if i can combine two ECB coupons in one transaction so in the end the item is free. EXAMPLE  if i have a $3 ECB coupon and a $6 ECB and the razor is $9, will the cashier take the $9 in ECB to pay for it??

      • tina

yeap u can use as many as u like but u still have to pay tax

      • Cbjhart

yes, you can absolutely do that :)

    • john35077

I ran into a cashier in cullman Alabama that refused to scan the speed stick coupons. She said she had to write the exact amount in. My question is why would an employee want to write a lesser amount in that line that keeps a larger amount from coming to the stote? All in all, our short time of couponing I have really enjoyed learning and thankful for starting.

    • Cbjhart

CVS in lyman SC has their CVS brand training pants for boys 75% off – looked to still have plenty still on the shelf when I was in there an hour ago.

      • rrrmkm

great i hope there’s some left when i get there :)

    • Kenren801

Plenty of Huggies Pull ups AND GoodNites on 75% off…. Both have $2 off mfq= $2.69.  In Louisville, KY

    • Laurie

CVS has drop the price on the huggies pullups they are now $4.82 which is 75% off , and yes CVS has caught on to the speed stick deal and they are manually entering the price now,but watch some of the prices I had on ring up for $0.94 there for not making it trigger the 6$ ECB.

    • Veronica

My local CVS scanned the speed stick coupons at 3.99 today.  It was WONDERFUL!!!!  Didn’t have enough for a second $12/6 deal so I’m going back for toothpaste & bodywash. I absolutely love our CVS :)

    • LCook530

The Skintimate deal is officially over.  I went to CVS today as they got a truck in and I’m SOOOOO glad I got the raincheck a few days ago!  The cashier did not believe me when I told her she owed me $40 in ECB’s and called up a manager.  He said that it WAS a mistake on corporates part and it has ended.  However, all rainchecks have to be honored.  I got 10 (did NOT clear shelves!) for free and made about $5.  :)  My only slight complaint was that I had to pay more OOP because I couldn’t use the ECB’s from the first purchase and I now have 2 $20 ECB’s….oh well.  Free cash card this week?  I think so!

    • Jrmartin

I went to a CVS near my eye doctor yesterday, one I’ve never been to before. They had the signs up for the Skintimate deal, but my ECBs didn’t print on the five cans I bought.  I took the tag to the cashier and she sarcastically said that they forgot the “point” in the 100, so it should have been 1.00.  I replied that I’ve never seen limits using decimal points before, only integers, and she said there was no way they would “allow” a customer to buy that many shave gels.  Anyway, I wasn’t about to waste my time arguing when she was treating me like a nuisance and not a customer, so I said I wanted to return the four for which I “could not” receive ECBs.  She told I couldn’t return them b/c I had used “coupons” (ECBs) to pay for them.  I said I was sure that was not true – I’ve returned stuff that I bought w/ ECBs before and got the money back on a money card (not things for which I received ECBs) – and she said she was sure, but she’d ask the manager.  He came to the register and said the same thing, but said he’d make an “exception,” but I should know that you’re not allowed to return things you purchase with ECBs. It still took about 10 more minutes for him to come up w/ a solution because he said he couldn’t make it work b/c it’s not something you’re supposed to be able to do, but he eventually gave me my money back in ECBs and I got the ECBs on the one can of shave gel the cashier allowed me to purchase w/ the deal.  Anyway, I can honestly say I was not rude to them – I go out of my way to be a kind couponer, but they were horrid!  I could not believe that no one in the entire store knew what to do.  I wanted to tell them the names of several people at the two different CVSs where I normally shop who would be able to help them, and/or call corporate and ask them to clarify the issue right there, but I didn’t want to cause a scene.  Needless to say, I will never go to that CVS ever again, and I’m telling everyone I know not to go there, either!

      • Raj

true – returns using ecbs aren’t easy.  technically, cvs should consider giving you a gc.  so, didn’t follow – you got only 1 ecb of $4 ?  and not 5 of them ?  that stinks, but it isn’t just that one cvs that does that.

      • Raj
