They won’t let you use the 30% because they are on sale for b1g1 50% off.

      • Malaika

Exactly. The CVS percent off coupons are not valid on any items that are on sale OR on clearance items.

    • Malaika

Agreed, Rachel. I keep seeing posts for combining the percent off store coupons with manufacturers coupons, but they CANNOT be used on ANY sale merchandise. This deal will NOT work.

    • Katy

It’s still a good deal without the 30% off. Comes out to less than $1.25 for two bottles of lotion after coupon and ECB.

    • Sandy Reynolds

Normally the % off coupon does say not valid on sale items. But… this one does not say that. It only says that Extra Care card must be presented to get these savings, so this should work. I will try it tomorrow and post if it works.

    • JG

the 30% will work on the full valued item but not the one for 50% off.

    • guest

Reading the terms and conditions on the CVS 30% off coupon states ‘excludes sale & promotional items… etc…’

    • Denisec

Nivea lotion is not B1G1 50% for week of 1/11. It is buy 2 get $5 EB.

    • hijo

Deal is: Buy 2 of Nivea Body Wash 16.9 oz, Scrub 12 oz, ANY Nivea Body Lotion or Creme get $5 extrabucks® rewards. All men’s items are included (face wash, shave gel etc.), plus the Smooth Indulgence hand crème. Pretty much all Nivea products.

    • Meekalo

You cannot use the 30% off sale items and the deal is for B2 get a $5EBuck. I was confused last night trying to score the deal for the promo ending 11/10 and in the end, scored nothing LOL!

      • lsdktd2

The % off coupons apply towards regular priced item. So if it is B1G1 50% off it will apply towards the B1 only ( if it’s at regular price) but not towards the one your getting 50% off. So people use it !!!!!!

    • RB

I did the deal today (Sunday, 1/11) and it worked fine for me. The lotion is not on sale so the 30% comes off. The lotion is $8.49 at my store, so they weren’t “free”, but they did end up $1 each after you figure in the $5EB. 2 lotions at $8.49 = $16.98 – $5.10 with the 30% off any lotion redbox coupon – $5/2 manufacturer coupon = $6.88 out of pocket (plus tax). The $5 EB means the TWO bottles of lotion net out at a total of $1.88 + tax. Or about a $1 each.

      • RB

Jenny’s post is wrong regarding the sale info and the pop math…. – but if lotion is priced at $7.49 at your store and you have the 30% off red box Q and the $5/2 manufacturer Q, then the two bottles of lotion should be almost free. Quite a good deal and only good for TODAY only because the coupon expires today. (but the deal is NOT a money maker as Jenny’s post implies)

        • RB

I mean oop math (out of pocket math) – the “Total Due” will be about $5.50, not $2.86. For me my Total Due was $6.88 because the lotions are priced at $8.49 at my store.

    • Cheryl

I don’t see any b1g1 50% off at my CVS and you couldn’t use the 30% on that anyway.

      • Denisec

It is not B1G1 50% in the ad. The above post is incorrect.

    • Khatima

If you’re using extra bucks to help pay for this deal then you subtract all coupons including extra bucks BEFORE you subtract your % off coupon. This will give you your true oop cost before tax. HTH

      • Khatima

Sorry subtract cvs coupons including extra bucks 1st, then % off coupon, then manufacturer coupons.

    • Meme007

This deal worked on the smaller tubes (Smooth). Not as good savings but still a nice sale.

    • R_Butterfly

I did the deal yesterday and while it still worked out nicely for me they were not B1G1 50%and they were 8 something each. but it did let me use the 30% off which saved me almost $5. Which brought my oop down to under $1 when all was said and done.
