Check out these (2) unadvertised deals that make toothpaste and liners FREE after coupons and ECB’s!

When I went to CVS yesterday to test the toothpaste deal, the ECB’s didn’t print for me… So be aware of that and make sure to check your receipt. Once I showed the cashier the sign, she checked the deal and my ECB’s rounded up to $3 due to the mistake, so it ended up working in my favor!

Don’t forget to grab the rest of the CVS deals when you shop.

were the kotex liners a clearance/sale item or were they in the travel section? Thanks! :)

      • Ellie

Right next to the regular liners.

Just a head’s up- at my CVS I was using my 20% pass from last weekend’s paper and I bought 2 of the 2.7 oz toothpaste, and a $6 ECB printed. I paid $4.43 plus tax and received $6 in ECBs. Good luck tacking that on to a bigger
      trip…

I couldn’t find a 2.7 oz size in my store. Is that a normal tube, like travel sized? Plus my ad says the $3 ECB is on Crest multipacks…very confused. I did see a 3-pack of 0.85 oz travel tubes on clearance for $1.59 but wasn’t sure if that would trigger the ECB, it wasn’t marked for ECB. I hate “trying” things to see if ECB will print and then finding out it doesn’t qualify.

      • I did try that clearance travel multipack and it didn’t produce anu bucks. Oh well.

I store hop the CVS stores around me, and one of those stores actually had a sign on the toothpaste indicating an ECB deal. Of course, it wrote “Buy one for $2.87, get back $2.87 in ExtraCare Bucks = FREE.” I bought two, and at checkout, $6 in ECBs printed for me. It sounds to me like it’s becoming common knowledge among couponers that when the double packs generate an ECB, this one does too…

    • Aimee

My Walmart had double packs of this Crest on sale for $1.50 and I had a $1 off coupon! 25 cents each, not bad! :) Also, my CVS would not let me use the CVS $2 off coupon on the liners. The coupon states “This coupon good only on product sizes and varieties indicated.” It also said they were considered trial size. :(

The All Detergent is pend 30, get 10 EBC, it was also involves some of the scott from a couple of weeks ago!! I also got a 4/20 coupon this today!!!

My ECBs expired! Will they accept expired ECBs?

      • momof3

Depends on how many days ago. The Cvs I go to the cashier knows me well, and said if it’s only a few days yes.

        • BlueWaterGirl

The CVS in my area is now taking all expired ECBs, expired MCM Q’s, etc. No expired manufacture coupons though because they won’t get reinbursed for them. Corporate is trying to keep their customers happy in this economy so ask your store. hth!

          • momof3

            What are MCM Q’s?

            • BlueWaterGirl

Magic Coupon Machine, aka the red box. :-) Some CVS stores are not cooperating as you can tell. Hope yours is!

Not all CVS stores are allowing expired ECB’s and store coupons. One of the local stores (Anderson, SC) clerks explained they had just had a “big, big” meeting about that very subject and they were not allowing expired store coupons, etc. I told her about reading the above mention on Southern Savers and she wasn’t moved at all. She is not coupon friendly so I am wondering if I should take her as the final word on the subject.

My ECBs expired! Will they accept expired ECBs?

    • MelRae

My CVS gave overage on the Kotex liners. They were $1.57/package, but the coupon scanned off $2. I may try to print more coupons on another printer and make another trip!

      • MelRae

I should specify it was the CVS store coupon that did that.

    • courtney spiers

Question.. Say i can print out 2 of the kotex coupons. can you use both in the same transaction?

      • courtney spiers

meaning buying 2 boxes and using both coupons at the same time?
