      • Linda

Thanks Amanda, that's a great coupon!

    • Beth

I rarely shop at FL. Can I use a store coupon and manu. coupon on the same item?

      • KAWilson

Yes….. I have never had a problem with that when I could find matches.

      • kcreviews

        Yes, you can!

      • so you can stack both. I think I tried this before didn't work

      • heather

My FL does NOT let you do that…..uurrggghhh!!

      • denaSC

My FL will not stack in ladson sc

      • Melanie

My FL in Anderson, SC will let you stack manu. with store q. :)

    • Bholmes75

that's a good deal on pampers

    • MaryT

Why is it that my P&G never has the $1 coupons, only the 25-cent ones? I didn't realize it, too, is regional like the RP and SS. The Bounty and Charmin won't be nearly as sweet for me. :o(

    • kcreviews

My FL no longer takes B1G1 internet q's so I need to find another place where Sobe is on sale. :(

      • Scoutmom316

CVS has them for 77 cents! I went today and they were out tho

        • Tbmdean

When I printed the coupon, the SOBE site let me print four of them…just by using the back button. My CVS is really good about rain checks.

      • happymom

        CVS!

    • Chrstyamyrs

There's also a really good deal on Wishbone and Hunts ketchup. Wishbone is 3/$5 paired with $1.50/2 q makes it 91 cents a piece. Hunts ketchup is $1 paired with 20 cents q makes it 80 cents. Not bad in my book.

      • Lanavdixon

        There is a $1/2 Hunt's ketchup FLIP. exp 7/20

        • Chrstyamyrs

          Oooo even better!

      • Cinderellamuth

I still have some B1G1 coupons on Hunts ketchup from All You (I think the June issue) Sounds like a great deal!

    • Thall561

MY FL will no longer let you do multiple transactions. Probably due to the great Capri Sun and Cheese FLIPs from the last few weeks.

      • Sheila

how can they prevent you from doing multiple transactions? I am asking because I am sure my FL will try the same?

      • Chrstyamyrs

They tried that with me, so I left the store and put my 1st transaction in the car and came back in to do the 2nd on at a different register.

      • nina21007

I actually asked my manager this as I work at a food lion and he said the coupons are supposed to be a limit of one print per person. Also, the coupon even says “Limit 1 per purchase of specified prodct, per transaction, per person, PER DAY” so I will not be surprised if all Food Lions start that.

    • When I try to print the pampers coupon it says check back Aug.1st.

      • happymom

Go to the Grocery Store Coupons tab at the top of the Southern Savers Home Page. Scroll down and you can find the Pampers Q. If you've already printed from the Food Lion website, click on PDF and you'll get it that way. HTH!

    • Stacey

If I buy a package of pampers and a tub of wipes can I use these 2 coupons together? Or do both coupons count as 'diaper' coupons?

      1) buy any one pack of diapers, receive a free wipes 72 ct or less
      1) $2.00 off any package of diapers

      • happymom

You should be able to use both, but FL can be stingy. Ask your cust. service desk when you go in. Where did you get the free wipes q?

    • happymom

OK- I got excited about the Pampers deal stacking a Food Lion Q with a manu. Q, so I called my local FL just to make sure. Well, my bubble has been burst. They will not accept a FL Q with a manu. Q on the same specific item. If the FL Q is for a $/a general purchase (like $1 off ANY Gerber product, then you can also use a Gerber Q, but the key word is ANY). I called 4 other Columbia stores just to double check and all said pretty much the same thing. Hope this saves someone a disappointment in the checkout line. BTW, if someone does know of a Columbia area atore that will let you stack, please let me know!

      • Lanavdixon

The stores in teh Spartanburg area allow stacking.

    • leigh

That Purina $3 coupon is actually only a $1 – not worth the time of filing out the info. BOOO!!

      • Mommy Of Coupons

I filled out the info and it said I'd be mailed a coupon, but then a button appeared to print, so I did and it was $3!

        • PriscillaRN

          Mine was $1.00

      • Runfromreality

        mine was 3.00…must be regional…

    • Tonya

I found something new a my Food Lion in Elgin, SC today. Just as you enter the door, a center, very similar to CVS, is there to scan your MVP card. Once scanned, a one page print out is given. From what I saw they are customized per each customer. Mine had coupons, an ad, and a recipe. The coupons are specifically for that current shopping trip. Other stores may already have them, but it is new for us. Yippee! More coupons!

      • nina21007

Every store will eventually get this. There are usually about 6 coupons to use that shopping trip and 4 manufacturer coupons that expire at a later date. While it may seem like it is customized according to you card, I have got adult diapers and baby diapers in th same sheet…I don't use either! But nonetheless, we are extremely excited about it!

        • Belr1333

that happens when you let other customers use your card.

          • guest

I actually dont let others use my card and the same thing has happened to me!

            • MaryT

I also have never let anyone else use my card, and I get dog food coupons — you guessed it, no dog! I do know my coupon sheet that prints is different from other people's because I've seen them left in the paper catcher under the printer. It must be random selection. FYI, ask your cashier if you can use other people's coupons left behind with your MVP card — I was told “yes” and actually was able to use one. Sometimes others' coupons are better than my own!

        • nina21007,
The reason that you may get coupons that aren't related to your personalized shopping habits is because there are three kinds of coupons the MVP Savings Center prints: personalized, targeted, and general.

Personalized coupons are based on your previous shopping habits, targeted coupons are for similar items you buy but of a different brand (i.e. Ball Park franks when you usually buy Oscar Mayer) because they want you to try something new, and the generalized coupons are those unrelated ones you posted about.

          I hope that explains things.
          Best regards.

      • Tonya,
That would be our MVP Savings Center kiosk. It's great. I found my original MVP Card and the coupons were definitely more personalized than the replacement card I got. The first three times you scan your card you get personalized coupons. Afterwards you get more generalized coupons.

I think it's great and I scan it every day.

        Best regards.

    • Melissa

It was mentioned that the papers towels are a good price during the three day sale this week. Just wondering what people consider a “good price” for paper towels? I always get confused between the big rolls and the double rolls and the super big ones or whatever they're called… there doesn't seem to be any consistency.

      • Amy

It depends on the amount of sheets in the roll. Check for the number of ply sheets – usually the super big have more ply sheets than 2 regular rolls.

    • Anonymous

      Take a quiz here http://www.coupo.us/foodlion/guidingstars.htm and get a $1/1 Foodlion Veggies. :D

      • Owensnmb

        expired

        • RebeccaFer

Hmmm, I don't know why it was expired for you. I just tried it again and I was able to take the quiz and get the coupon once more. Maybe try another browser? Strange.

    • Couponmama62

Food Lion Flips are gone!! The coupons now up to print are from Red Plum :(

    • CONNIE

I HATE THAT YOU HAVE TO GO ON FACEBOOK FOR THE BEST COUPONS SOMETIMES; ESPECIALLY POST YOUR PICTURE FOR 2.00 COUPON!!!!!!!!!

      • MaryT

When I do a Facebook “like” to get a coupon, I “like” them, print the coupon twice and then go into my FB info page and edit, removing the page I no longer want to be connected with. That way I get the coupon and have my privacy back!

        • M4bigmacs

i like the way you think. i too do not like to have to go to facebook to get coupons.

    • DD

Got this message off the Kellogg's website when about to print coupon.
On June 25, Kellogg issued a voluntary recall of select packages of Kellogg’s® Corn Pops®, Honey Smacks®, Froot Loops® and Apple Jacks® cereals.

    • Kimcook82

I was told by the Food Lion near my house that they don't even accept Food Lion coupons from the internet. That they are frad. I tried to do the capri sun deal last week and they threw away that coupon.

      • ASmith

I would contact Food Lion corporate or a regional office or something. I receive the coupons in the email directly from Food Lion. I have never had any problems using the coupons.

      • Kimcook82,
I work at Food Lion and I thought that the Capri Sun $2.00 coupons were fraudulent until I complained to my Manager on Duty. He then printed out a corporate e-mail that was sent to the managers, a list of Food Lion store coupons that we were supposed to accept.

They likely think the coupons are fraudulent because the managers are not checking their e-mails or as in my case they are not communicating the information to the front-line associates.

        I apologize for the inconvenience.
        Best regards.

    • Meruncw

went to FL this morning to take advantage of the pampers deal…they scanned both the store coupon and the manft coupon…looked at the receipt to verify…FL one rang up $1 (supposed to be $1.50) the manft rang up correctly
make sure you don't lose your $0.50 like i almost did!!!

    • Jennylovessummertime

Just had bad experience with my Food Lion in Murfreesboro TN. There are a few unhappy cashiers that are always angry to see my coupons. They just can't compete with Publix – I will only go there to get the coupon books to use at Publix, from now on. I would rather give Publix 50 cents for peanuts than get them for free at FL, and have to put up with the unpleasantness, anyway.

      • Jennifer C

We have two FL stores in my town, one is just as nice as can be, the others are complete weiners about coupons! You really have to watch them, if my coupon doesn't scan they just keep going, they don't even try to figure it out. I try to just go to the friendly store but sometimes I have to go in the other if there is a really good closeout deal. Food Lion has been having some really good closeout deals lately so I have been frequenting their store more, I just have to pick my check out person carefully!

        • Patsy

I had this experience on Friday! The cashier didn't scan 3 of my $1 off coupons!!!!

    • Jennifer C

Just hit a school supply mother load at the Food Lion, they had 4 buggies filled with clearance items in the front of the store. Bought a scientific calculator for 2.00, sharpie 8 packs(different colors) for 1.75, sharpie highlighters (4) for 62¢, all kinds of different Cutter outdoor insect repellant $1.25. And for some reason a 64oz Welches Juice for 1.25 (50¢ after my coupon). A ton of stuff, hope you get lucky at your store!

    • Julia E

I went to Food Lion Friday morning to take advantage of the GREAT deal on the Bounty paper towels and was very disappointed to see them marked $5.99 instead of $4.99!!! I decided to leave and just get the Marcal ones at Bi-Lo instead.

      • Richboy3657

I work at foodlion and they are priced 5.99 but it takes 1.00 off at the register.

    • Jamie L

I'm new to couponing but I did get to FL today and with a combo of coupons and MVP card I saved just over $49. I was hoping that I would have less out of pocket ($79 to be exact) but I still don't think it's that bad for my first time out. Tomorrow I can't wait to try the CVS deals.

      • Meganclaycohen
