Have you found any other codes?

    • Thank you. I could definitely use them.

    • Aimee

I don't know if it's me, but I never have any luck getting these codes to work. Inevitably, I always get charged for the movie because it shows up on my bank account statement. So, I can never use these “free” codes. Do they ever work for anyone? Am I doing something wrong?

      • Migalie13

You have to have the movie back by 9pm on the following night. I found this out when I returned a movie after 9pm and got charged for another night. This could be the problem. Hope this helps.

      • I've been able to get them to work before. There's been more than once, though, when the movie I picked would not dispense and I lost the free code when I tried to go back and pick another movie. I figured out that if that happens, to go and add another movie to my cart BEFORE deleting the movie that wouldn't dispense. That way I don't lose the code and I don't have to start completely over. I don't think that's what happened to you but I thought it was worth mentioning in case it ever did.
It is important to have the movie back by 9 the following night or you will be charged $1 for each add'l night. Personally, I've had better success with Redbox codes than I have with BBX.

I've tried several times at Publix on Wade Green, Kennesaw-never has worked for us.

      • Freemn4

I live in Summerville, SC and rent at the Publix store. I have been able to use most of the codes for free rentals, but I have had a few that did not work. If you are going to rent a movie anyway, they are worth a try. Good luck!

We had a BBX charge on our statement online for about three days. Then it disappeared, like it had not been there at all… It was as if the code worked, but we were charged, then it was refunded, but they just removed it from the statement. Not liking the way it was done, but appreciate the free movie…

My husband tried the Publix codes this afternoon at Publix and he could not get any of them to work. What gives?

      • L337momma

Same here, first 3 on the list didn't work for us :(

    • Aimee

Sometimes they work for me and sometimes they don't. But if the code isn't excepted then I usually cancel my order rather than pay. Eventually I get one that works.

      • Aimee

        I meant accepted!

    • CCShad

Seems like I used one of the codes and the movie wasn't totally free – it was like if you pay for the 1st night, you get the 2nd night free. That happened with the Publix easter weekend code. Does that happen to anyone else who has used these codes or do you get it totally free?

      • Katie

The Publix Easter Weekend code was meant to be a buy one night, get one free because the idea was that you would rent the movie on Saturday night and return it on Monday, but only have to pay for Saturday night, not the night of easter. I've never had a problem like that with any other codes.

      • nessa

yeah thats what the code was for the second night was free because they were closed that second day …

    • Bh

when you enter the code make sure it is in parentheses which means the price is being deducted. I figured out after being charged twice but returned between 8-9 pm that was either on eastern time or machine time was off so now I return before 8 pm and have not had a charge since.

      • Just a tip

Good tip about double-checking, but don't let BBX push you around setting their kiosk times wrong and then charging you extra. I have had to fight with their customer service to finally get them to set my kiosk correctly (personally, I think they know what they're doing; that, or they are incompetent). Call them up and make them set the time correctly, and insist they refund the fraudulent charges.

    • You can use the code WELOVEMOM for a “rent 2 get 3rd free” discount….good thru midnight on 05/08/11

    • Lanimommy

Worked for me! They always do. Awesome! Got Little Fockers! Can't wait! Thanks again Jenny!

Why not just download what you wanna see?

    • Dee

These codes aren't for new releases. It's best to put your promo code when you first see it.

    • Melissa S.

Tried the first 3 codes at Publix and none of them worked

    • Shelleyschu

QUIKTRIP works at the QT locations. think it is until 6/30 too.

    • T.R.

I've recently moved and I found that at my 'Old Publix' these codes ALWAYS worked- at my new publix NONE OF THEM EVER work.  I personally think that the person behind the dispenser can set them to work or not- and I think that the person over my new publix kiosk won't allow any codes.  Just a though.

    • I find these never work for me at the kiosk, either.  HOWEVER, if I choose the same kiosk at blockbuster online, and buy it with the code there, it works.  So I think everyone's right about some of the kiosks being rigged to not accept codes, and just pull a bait and switch.  Also, at least a third of the time I am charged, even when I use a free code and return the movie on time, so I've started noting the date, the movie and the code I used, and calling to get a refund as needed.  Huge pain, but better than paying $5/movie at the Blockbuster stores.
