We’ve had a fun week this week.  For once my husband was traveling for business, and the girls and I hunkered down and enjoyed girl time.  We got the house spotless and then painted our finger nails.

I ran out for two little trips this week and realized both times the amazing help my husband is!

CVS:
I Bought:
(4) Revlon Nail Polishs $3.99 ea
(2) Black table cloths $2.50 ea
Used:
(2) -$2/2 coupons
-$5 off Costumes, Decor or Accessories printable
-$10 ECB from last week
Total Due: $2.09
Got Back: $12 ECB

Publix:
Total before sales and coupons: $47.66
Total Spent: $21.40
Total Saved: $26.26 or 55%

I just ran into CVS again tonight to see what might print from the coupon center and got another $5 off coupon!  Bought 5 glow sticks, spent nothing and went home happy.  If you are out and about tomorrow run in and see if you get another coupon too!!

How did you do this week?  Leave a comment or a link to your savings post.

(We also have a new link up now, Menu Plans… if you have one, join in the fun.)

I got a $2 off 5 GM cereals printed when I made my purchase, so I dropped everything off in the car & went back in to do the GM deal again. Jenny,
thanks for posting everyone's deals. This is my favorite part of Southern Savers. I eagerly wait for each Friday evening knowing that it means that tom i will go out for one more deal of the week. I have never kept up with all my deals for the week as to i just stop by one of the stores when i am driving by. However for the New Year I plan to keep a journal that i will record what we are going to budget for each week and how its spent, what we got etc.
Also every week i am going to donate a goody to someone or to some cause.
