It’s a tad past Friday now, sorry for my tardiness tonight.  This has been a fun busy week.  I got to Kroger and Harris Teeter this week.  My Harris Teeter trip was not during super doubles, instead it was to write down all the deals I could find before super doubles.  I only grabbed the Saturday one day eVic deals.  If you don’t get Harris Teeter emails you want to!

Harris Teeter
Total Before Sales & Coupons: $34.91
Total Spent: $15.10
Total Saved: $19.81 or 57%

Kroger
Total Before Sales & Coupons: $43.65
Total Spent: $19.41
Total Saved: $24.24 or 56%

At Kroger I focused on the free deals and produce, and then my husband found a deal that rang up wrong.  Kroger has a fun pricing error policy in our area… you get $5 off your purchase!  Go husband.

If you missed the Kroger mega even you have a few more days.  Though I’ll warn you most of the free items are probably gone now, so find out when your store gets a new truck in.

How did you do this week?  Leave a comment or a link to your savings post.

I had my best week ever thanks to this site. I made two trips to Harris Teeter ( went to 2 different stores to get out of stock items). I split 1 transaction to use Solo products catalina on next order. Total retail value for both trips was $395.05. I payed $167.90 which is a savings of $227.15 or nearly 74% off!!!!
Almost everything is food NOT household. and yes I did buy a number of non-sale items (we needed lots of cheese and some Nutella to go with all those Blue Diamond  crackers!) I don’t need to buy anything except fresh fruit/veg and lunch meat for at least 3 to 4 weeks AND I have FOUR full bags of food to donate to my parishes christmas food drive!!!!!!!
Thanks you to Jenny and the Southern Savers site!!

Today was my first day trying out the Super Doubles at Harris Teeter…and what a blast! Saved 58%!!! I am on my way!!!

what is the Super Doubles?  I love HT and find I save so much more there than Kroger. This makes me happy.  I can never figure out how to use multiple coupons on one item or get things free.  Every Saturday I go through all of my coupons….and spend hours on my system.  Help please!

You know how HT usually doubles q’s up to .99? When they are doing Super doubles they will double q’s up to $1.98 so a $1.75 would theoretically double to $3.50 but they won’t give you anything above the actual price

Went super doubling today…..got 141 worth of groceries for $59!!! Including the free Smart Balance Milk, Dawn dish liquid and a bunch of other goodies! I have one more coupon for the milk and I have some rain checks……so looks like I’ll be hitting up another HT in my area Monday after I get out of school!
