    • Yeah, this would be awesome, IF I COULD FIND THEM IN STOCK anywhere!!! I’ve been looking for four weeks- since this whole promotion started and no one has them. grrrr. thanks for the printable link. :)

      • kelli

I agree, they are VERY hard to find. I only have 1 Target store close to me and they’re always out of everything.

      • Keren

I got a few at our Target from the regular cleaning aisle although there weren’t alot, but when I got to the register – there were TONS on one of the end caps there. Wouldn’t hurt to look……

        • morgan

yep, I found mine on the end of one of the registers also.

    • Aymie

      thank you so much!!
Can we do this transaction twice to get two giftcards?

      • suellen

        yep

    • Rebecca

I tried to do this last night and you can only get the gift card for buying the new holiday scent collection of candles. I tried to buy the refills and they would not ring up for the $5 gift card.

      • Abigail

That’s odd. At my target in Charleston, they won’t do it on the holiday candles. Only the oil candles or the plug ins.

      • Zonya

If you take the products to one of the price checker scanners, it will tell you whether it is in the deal or not. The only ones I’ve been able to find are the cinnamon apple.

      • Sheila

I went earlier this evening and it didn’t work for me either :( I was trying to do the exact deal that Jenny mentioned above. (I was at the Super Target in Canton, GA)

      • Amy

I did it twice in Brentwood, TN and it didn’t give me the gift card. I went to the service desk and the first time got it ASAP, the second time i spent 10 minutes arguing with them – he said it was because I used coupons….i got my 2 gift cards at the end of the day! :)

        • Brandie

I tried the offer just as mentioned on here with buying 2 tins and 3 oil refills packs. I did not get the gift card. When I mentioned it was on the back page of their ad, the clerk looked at it and said my items must not be included in the deal. But, it did not specify which ones were. Any tips?

      • Sheila

I went again to a different super target in Alpharetta, GA. The one on windward parkway. They would not let me get the gift card. Oh well. :(

    • Katie

Does Target know that the Target Gift card is attached to this deal.. Where is it mentioned so I can bring it up to them if their is a problem?

      TIA

      • Dawn

It’s in their ad this week, on the last page.

    • karen

How do we get the $5 gift card from Target? Don’t we need that receipt to send to SC Johnson?

      • Heather

The $5 GC from Target is given instantly. Once the register sees that you bought 5 qualifying products, it prompts the cashier to give you a GC.

    • MelRae

Thanks, Jenny! Everyone I know is getting a Glade candle for Christmas! lol! I already have at least seven from previous deals.

OMGosh, how many times can we print this? I thought I would try for a third time, and it worked! I stopped at 4 prints.

      • Me too! I printed them 4 times! That never happens!

    • Phillis

Target in Murfreesboro would not accept the Free Refill wyb the Tin coupon. I argued and argued with the manager, but he didn’t get it. Funny thing is I had already done this deal twice at this same store.

Guess I will take my business to another Target that understands couponing!

    • Abigail

I’m doing this deal and using the $5 gift card to get Up. With the coupon and the gift card it’ll only be like $8!! And I’ll also be able to do the rebate from SC Johnson. YOOHOO!!

    • I tried this on Sunday and got so frustrated with the manager. She said since the refill oil candles were “not in the printed picture on the Target ad, they are not part of the $5 gift card deal.” I even explained to them that the sign underneath the oil candles said they were included! They would hear nothing more about it. Argh!!! I finally said, “Thanks, but no thanks,” and kindly walked out.

    • Here’s a question concering BOGO…

My coupon states, “Buy any Glade Scented Oil Candles holder, get a refill pack free.”

My Target clerk said this coupon counted as the 1 manufacturer’s coupon for both the holder AND the refill pack. I was under the understanding it would only be for the refill pack and that I could use a separate coupon towards the holder. Is this up to the store’s discretion?

      • Erin

I doubt it. I’m lucky to have a wonderful Target. I did this deal:
Bought 5 glade tins and 5 refill packs
        – used 5 $1.50/1 q’s on the tins
and 5 Buy the holder/ get the refill free q’s

Paid $5 for 10 items, got $10 in gift cards and submitted the receipt for the $5 rebate.

Now the cashier had NO idea how to handle the Buy the holder/ get the refill free q. She kept entering $3.99 (since the q had “up to 3.99” on it) and the computer kept beeping (because they actually cost $2.50, not 3.99) so I ended up paying $10 and then went to customer service, explained the situation and got my $5 back! :-)

    • Angela

The Glade printables also includes a .75 coupon on 2 Glade Aerosol Sprays. If anybody is heading out for another Harris Teeter Triples trip today, that would make 2 cans for free! The Glade Aerosols are on sale for .99 this week.

      • Rachel

I just got back from my almost-midnight run to HT to get the last of my coupons tripled. I wish I had thought to take my Glade coupons so I could have taken advantage of this!

    • MelRae

Jenny, there is a coupon from 11/1 SS that says B2G1 refill. Could we use that instead of the $1 off refill coupon? So, we buy 2 tins and 3 refills. Give the B2G1 coupon, and then give the 2 free refill coupons? That’s 3 coupons for 5 items. That is essentially paying only for the 2 tins. I dunno…the cashier may balk. lol! If anyone tries it and it works, let us know!

      • MelRae

On second thought, they would probably want you to pay actual money for the first 2 refills! lol! I will stick with Jenny’s scenario!

        • Heather

I have done that scenerio several times.
          2 tins @ $2.50
          3 refills @ $2.50
          Minus
          (2) $1.50/1 for tins
          (2) Buy tin get refill free
          (1) Buy 2 refill get 1 free
Total OOP $2 get back $5 GC

          • j.hayes

I purchased 20 refills and used 10 bogo free coupons. I paid $37.00 and obtained $20.00 back in gift cards. I used the cards to purchase to DS games for my kids with the $10.00 coupon. I only paid $1.00. I will also obtain $5.00 rebate. Thanks, Jenny for the merry that you put in my kids x-mas without you my kids would have no x-mas.

    • Kimberly

the “buy any glade scented oil candles holder, get free refill pack” has fine print that says … limit one coupon per purchase & excludes trio pack. Has anyone had trouble with this since the deal at target requires using 2 of these coupons with a $1 off coupon also?
      Thanks,
      Kimberly

    • Zonya

I’m loving this deal. There is a Blinkie at some stores (I found mine at a Pathmark grocery) that is spitting out the buy a holder, get a refill coupons. Unfortunately, most of the tins at the two Targets I’ve been to have all the 1.50 off 1 coupons pulled out already.

    • Amanda

In Jacksonville, FL, I was able to get this deal tonight before the Target closed. I bought One refill w/free warmer – used $1.00 off warmer refill. I bought two tin candles and two oil candle refills – used the coupon for free refills w/candle purchase. (As original instructions stated)

I also bought Target up/up 3 packages of toddler wipes for 97 cents – used $1.00 off coupon (computer did ring at 97cents) – the cashier let me use all my 3 coupons for $1.00 off each one.

With tax my purchase came to $7.02 – plus I got a $5 target card. Plus I plan on mailing out for my $5 rebate!!!

I’m loving this website! Thanks for all the freebies!!!

      • Mishell

Which Target did you go too. I went to the on Argyle Blvd and it did nto work. They said that the refills are already free. Your help would be greatly appreciated

    • Rachel

*Finally* got this deal at my Target (since I could never find the tins in stock) BUT the tins rang up at 2.99 and it wouldn’t give me my $5 gift card at the end. However the nice manager took $5 off my total instead! In my rush to get to the store I forgot to take my $1 off coupon I had just printed. Argh. Oh well, still a money maker with the SC rebate!

      Big hugs to Southern Saver!

    • Tonya

I just tried this today at the Target on Fairview Rd in Simpsonville, SC. They took the coupons but the $5 gift card didn’t ring up, the cashier pulled out the add and siad it was only on select Glade items so these must not be part of it. I thought I had seen it in writing where I picked up the candles but I didn’t have time to argue with them as I was late to pick up my daughter from school. Ended up paying $7.25 and will send in for the SC rebate so still not bad. May try again later in the week when I have more time.

    • Zonya

Grrrr…Target gave me trouble this morning. Both the cashier and the manager told me I can only use a total of ONE coupon and ONE target coupon PER TRANSACTION. What a bunch of bologna. Finally the 2nd manager came over and he listened to me explain how what I am doing is perfectly fine, and then rang up the transaction.

    • Ellen

My Target in Wilmington said that the only scents that counted were holiday scents, but unfortunately they were out of those in the candle tins and I didn’t see any candle refills. I did still get to use several coupons. $1.50 off 2/ jar candles (the only thing I got that was holiday), $1.00 off candle refill, and someone had left a BOGO for Candle holders so I got two cute apple cinnamon tins. I only paid $7.50 (plus tax) and can still send in for the rebate, so that’s not too bad.

    • Christy

This DID NOT WORK for me!!! I’m not really sure what they want you to buy in order to get the $5 back. I spent 40 minutes just trying to get (and then return) this deal. The manager said she thinks it didn’t work ($5 card)because I didn’t buy the “holiday scents.” She said she thinks a lot of her cashiers have been overiding the register when it won’t give the $5 gift card because the cashiers don’t really understand how the deal works. (In other words, those of you who have gotten the deal only got it because you had a nice cashier.) I used 2 B1G1 coupons and one $1.50 off. She also wondered if it didn’t work because after the B1G1 coupons the register thought I only bought 3 and no longer qualified for the $5 gift card. I left there wondering if any Target employee knew what qualified for the crazy $5 card! To their credit, they were very kind through it all (and I was very kind as well.) I just wanted to warn others that they might be in for a long experience…

    • My kids are grown up and away from home. As I do not know what they would want on special occasions the Amazon Gift Card is the only way to go. Anything they want they can find on Amazon and at the best price.
