Thanks for sharing!!  I think you have it backwards though….it should be, in your post, $25 certificate to REI for $15.  You have it right in the title.  Thanks again!

    • Hhbeverly

      WOW!  Spend $25 get $15!  What a deal!! :)

    • Jdfloyd

      $15 for $25……hmmmm??? I might hold out for a $15 for $15 deal…

    • Kelsey

We all know what she meant to say ladies. $25 value for just $15. She is human and everyone makes mistakes.

Thank you Jenny for all the hard work you do to present us with awesome deals.

    • Apparently I need a mid-afternoon coffee!  The deal is $15 for a $25 credit to REI stores.

    • Jdfloyd

Thanks for all that you do for us, Jenny. My comment was not a knock on you. Just trying to bring a little(very little) humor to shed light on the mistake.

      Dad’s Christmas gift…..check!!  Thanks Jenny!!

      • Allison Feix

I bought this today with my father in law in mind. Unfortunately, the voucher states the price you paid and has your name on it. I decided to go to the REI website, and I used my $25 voucher to buy a $25 gift card. It came with free shipping. I like that the gift will have the look of a normal gift card now, and as an added bonus, it won’t have the April expiration date that the voucher does!

Now that’s a savvy shopper… and a great tip! I did the same thing so that I could give this as a gift too. Thanks!

        • Ssklayman

Me too!!!  What a wonderful idea!

I got three of these (you are allowed to get more than one if you get each under  a different city) so I could get my mom some Vibram five fingers for Christmas which were previously more than I wanted to spend. I had to convert them all to egift cards first so i could use them on one order, but the little time spent was worth it to give her a gift she’d really love.

As a bonus, the Vibrams were $80 exactly (my mom has big feet and no one ever seems to have her size on sale lol) and I saw they had a code FALLSAVE20 taking $20 off $100, so I bought 2 pairs of Ininji toe socks for $10 each which made them essentially free.

Even with Tennesse’s terribly expensive tax, I came out of pocket $57 total for the shoes and two pairs of socks…$53 if ebates cash back comes through.

So sad I missed this — especially knowing I could have gotten more than one. Greenville, SC just opened a new REI and would have been the perfect gift for my husband… oh, well.
