I used to live in Texas and did not realize until recently how much I was missing out on great deals.

    • Brandi

Thank you so much for doing HEB! That's pretty much my only choice for shopping around here so this will help me a ton!

    • Jacie

      We Texans thank you Jenny!!!!

    • Jacie

      We Texans thank you!!!!

    • When I lived in Texas, HEB didn't accept printed internet coupons, does anyone know if that's still true?

      • Kenzi

I know the one I shop at does. I've used several printed internet coupons there!

    • Kenzi

Thank you so much for adding HEB!!! This is where I mainly shop and could never find a blog that would post HEB deals.

    • Ellie May

I really miss H.E.B.! They are a fantastic store, and their brand names (Hill Country, for example) are truly excellent. I've never dealt with a store brand that consistantly exceeded my expectations like that one did.

They do a weekly meal deal where you buy one item and get the rest of what you need for the meal free. They also have a children's “Buddy Bucks” program where your kids can get a buddy buck to put into a claw machine (it keeps letting them play until they win) for stickers that add up to free products – kind of like green stamps used to. But playing the game is so fun, the kids really don't care that much about the stickers. They are a great store and I really miss them.

    • Sassy Stephanie

I double puffy heart love you for now including HEB!!!

    • I used to live in Texas and I loved my HEB! How I wish I had one in Georgia!

    • Jennifer

Jenny you are the best! Thanks for doing HEB!

    • amy

Thanks so much! Please note that HEB doesn't let you double up on their coupon and a manufacture's coupon. I really dislike their ads. Most is for their brand and a lot of time they don't give you the price. It's just $X off the price that's listed. I usually have to go in the store and search for deals.

    • Helen

So excited! I cant wait to let my sis in Kyle know about the awesome deals she could be getting

    • Tamarie

Thank you SO much for posting HEB! You're awesome!

    • MANNNN I wish I had known about y'all BEFORE I went grocery shopping 2 hours ago at HEB!!! :-D

Also, they have a combo type deal…buy Oscar Meyer Lunchmeat & Kraft amer slices & get a free loaf of bread & squeeze mayo.

    • Farrah

Thank you so much for adding HEB! Like the others, it is my only choice for groceries besides Walmart. I don't like their ads but can usually find unadvertised deals that are pretty good.

    • Norma

I really appreciate you adding HEB. No other site I have seen does. You are amazing and I really don't know how you do it.
      Thanks!

    • jhoran

Thanks ever so much for posting HEB. Its a great store and the deals they have never cease to amaze me. I always end up buying more than what I came for. This was such a nice surprise when I logged in tonight. I can't wait to tell my neighbour. We all love HEB!!
For anyone who's interested, the couponmom site does HEB but her site is a little hard to follow. Also the grocerygame, but you have to pay for this one. Trust me though, I have never saved as much since I found out about Southern Savers!!! Thank you, Jenny.

    • tgirl22

OH MY GOODNESS!!! I am so grateful for this website! HEB listed.. :) Haven't found a GOOD website for us Texans, they may say “everything is bigger in TX”, well NOT websites for couponers. LOL We have Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Target, Randalls, and HEB… not all the other glamorous sites with all the other great deals. I do use 2 coupons, I use the MFG coupon first and then the HEB coupons at the end and usually do not have problems. I hope you keep up with the HEB deals…. Thanks again!! :)

      • NotfooledbyHEB

If you are using an HEB yellow coupon with a manufacture's coupon then you shouldn't be doing that. Their yellow coupons ARE manufacture's coupons. In the bottom corner there is an “M” which stands for “manufactures”. HEB gets credit for all their little yellow coupons out there which aren't always as good as what we find in Smart Source, Red Plum and printed from the internet. Just a head's up. The only time they let you “double up” is when they have the meal deal. If you're buying X and getting A, B, and C free then you can use a manufactures coupon for product X. Sometimes that is a good deal. But they do have GREAT produce!

    • nowkacoupons

Yea! I used to live in Texas (Bastrop) and I loved my HEB. I haven't been a happy shopper here in Alabama until I found out about shopping at Publix with coupons! Now I'm so happy for my Texas friends and I can share my coupon strategies with them. !!!!!

    • carrie

thank you sooooooo very much for adding HEB. it is really the only grocery store that is available to me.

    • fastfixin

      Thanks for mentioning Fast Fixin'

    • stormyr

Thanks for doing a HEBs post. I will be a Texan (Austin) in a little under 6 months. I was sad to see when I researched that HEB pretty much rules the Austin area as far as grocery stores go. I sure will miss my BiLo :( But I suppose its a decent trade off considering I will aquire CVS and Target which I don't currently have in my local area.

    • Meme

I wrote my daughter to let her know about your posting HEB. She helped me coupon while visiting in February. She helped me organize my coupons a little better (clipped the coupons and made an envelope with the front cover from each insert). This helped speed up my process in gathering my coupons. She said it didn't pay for her to coupon because HEB didn't accept coupons. So she will be pleasantly surprised to learn they do.

Like all the other posters, she loves the HEB stores. She loves Austin too. I have found it to be one of the friendliest cities to visit. The people are phenomenal ! I have many good memories from our visits there.

I also loved the diversity of the foods in the markets. Great place to live if you can drive like a maniac.

    • Tana

To reiterate what Amy stated above. For a good amount of the sales at HEB, you have to use their yellow coupons to get the sales price, meaning you cannot also use a manufacturers coupon along with this yellow store coupon (ALL of them seem to be manufacturers coupons). I live in Houston, TX so have a Kroger, Randalls and HEB right by me. I rarely ever shop at HEB because of this coupon issue. Even for its high prices – I actually find Randall's putting on the best sales sometimes – you can actually use a store coupon and manufacturers coupon and get thing dirt cheap.

    • SOLEI

      Jenny!! Jenny!! Jenny!!

I hope you understand what a *true* blessing you have been in my life! We were really struggling over a year 1/2 ago, which is when I found your site… and have been couponing and following your site ever since! ( for cvs and walmart that is ) And now that you added HEB to your list… OMG!!! I am sooooooooo happy!

You're right, us poor Texans don't have much choice other than HEB or Walmart for groceries… so I love that you will help us find those hidden deals!!!!

      THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH!

    • brooky78

I live in Austin, TX and was one of the many requests for H.E.B. to be included in your grocery stores. Thank you so much for granting that request. My husband and I clipped our first set of coupons last night and we are anxious to get started. Randall's also has good deals so I will be using your RP and SS lists to help me find deals there too.
