I am not impressed at all with this list. It seems very random…

      • Lopezshopping

I agree with you!  I was waiting for this list to come out and not impressed.  The only one I see is the Multigrain Cheerios, but even that one I haven't been able to print the coupon for almost two months now… not sure why either.  Both of those links do not work and haven't worked since I first printed them.  Now I have to wait until next Tuesday hoping for a good list.  LOL!  Hoping Bi-Lo is better…

    • Neet

Keri Lotion, 15 oz, at $7.99 ($3.99) -$2 off Keri lotion, SS 4/17 or SS 7/17 -$1 off Keri lotion, June All You magazine(makes it $2.99)

$2 off would make it $1.99

      • Cdfox10

The Keri Lotion is B1G1 at $3.99 so you can use two of the $2 off 1 keri product coupons making them both free.

        • Amy

No, the regular price is $7.99. At BOGO, the sale price would be $3.99 and $1.99 after $2 coupon.

    • Brooke

Another slow week at Harris Teeter. Fingers crossed Bi-Lo is good this week!

    • Just4yall

There is a skintimate cream shave coupon for $1.50 and a skintimate shavegel for .75.

    • Lopezshopping

Is it just me or has anyone else not had luck printing the Multigrain Cheerios coupon?  I've not been able to print it for almost, if not over 2 months now.  It shows “Install printer” which I already have installed, and then says no more prints.  The other link shows that 7 day diet plan or whatever.  How long does it generally take for sites to allow coupons to be printed again?  Or is it per company or site?

      • BuckeyeSara1982

I can't get a coupon from either link, either. I think they are both out of prints and/or no longer valid.

        • Lopezshopping

Thanks for the confirmation Sara, I appreciate it.  Somehow I wondered if it was just me, but I guess General Mills just isn't issuing out anymore coupons for this product.  lol!  I had to get a box from Lowe's last week with their Cellfire 0.75 coupon, though the doubling on the printed coupon would've worked much better in this scenario.  lol!

    • Ukgirlintn

I am confused. Was there not supposed to be a super double this week? ( I weep)

      • Kimberly

I think it was speculation based on when the last one was, as far as I know, HT doesn't announce it until the ad goes live that week.  The rumor I've seen since yesterday is that it will be next week.

        • Ukgirlintn

Thank you Kim. I will wipe my tears and look to next week. *sniff*

    • Kimberly

My Express Lane is showing the Bob Evans sides as $3.50, which even with the good coupons makes them more than I'm willing to spend.  Hopefully it's a typo on EL and the add will show them as $2.50!

    • Maryleego

HARRIS TEETER HAS TRIPLE COUPONS starting wed 7/20  7AM thru Tues midnight

      • liz

Please, unless you have some sort of confirmation on this from a very high up source at HT don't start this rumor- it will only lead to insane amounts of very disappointed people tomorrow morning.  Now, I hope you are right because it would be the best birthday present ever for me, but there is no confirmation around the web that this is true.

        • Lopezshopping

I agree, though I don't see many deals on this list of items that I'd benefit from with triple… but then, I don't believe that they will be doing triple coupons anyway.  I'll be heading to HT so I'll believe it when I see it there… and then I'll take my stack of coupons that have not yet expired, and see what I can get whether on sale or not.  lol!  Too bad there's no such thing as a Triple Double (Triple value on coupons up to $1.98)  LOL!

          • Chele17rene

            Hendersonville,nc & Hickory,nc has triples every week unless it's SD's

            • Lopezshopping

Wow!  Wish the ones here did it frequently… lol!  Even once a month triples would be great here in Matthews, NC or Charlotte, NC

            • Brooke

hendersonville, nc doesnt' have triples every week… just more frequently than other stores.. that is where I shop.

        • Maryleego

The sign was at the Hickory, NC store today

        • Kimberlydiana

yeah i got super excited fast. better call the stores first people :) just be to absolutely sure

      • Margoren

        Maybe only your HT?

      • Sierra_26

where did you hear this from? I was just at the store today and asked and was told they only do triple coupons like once a year!

        • Margoren

From what I hear…. A few stores do triples quite often but most have it like once a year…

        • Maryleego

I was in  the store in Hickory, NC and there was a sign there

          • Sokrchk0101

we have triples every week except when we have super doubles

      • karen

Are you in the Western part of NC?  They do triples almost every 6 weeks (Hickory, NC).  We should head your way to get some furniture and some groceries!

      • Cdfox10

Harris Teeter in Winston Salem on Cloverdale is not doing Super double or Triple double tomorrow. I called and asked today.

      • Kimberlydiana

whhhhhaaaaaaat! thanks for letting us know! love ya for it haha. this will be my very first triple couponing experience! excited to see how it works out!

    • Helppleasethanks

Anyone know how the Johnson & Johnson First Aid To Go works with the coupon? The coupon does not specify for this exact item. Thank you!

    • Margoren

      The pizza meal:
Is it $12.98 for both pizzas or each?

      • Curveygurl

        both

      • CarolG

That's $12.98 for both pizzas.  That's a pretty good deal!

        • Margoren

          Thank You!

      • Kimberlydiana

i think its total for two?? haha it better be lol

      • CouponDiva

Walmart has the combo with cookies or wings for under $7, use the $2 off Facebook coupon and you get two for around $10.  Love the cookies and pizza combo.

    • Lopezshopping

Still waiting for the BI-LO sale and ads list but just got the email not long ago… guessing maybe some issues with the BI-LO ads for today's updating… hoping for better sales from BI-LO when HT doesn't have great ones… checked Lowe's and even they were disappointing this week.  lol

    • Rlynn103

Anyone know why the Kelloggs Fiber Plus .70 coupon didn't print a bar code,  just the long lined code??  Neither did the Kashi .75 off frozen item…

      • Margoren

I heard that the regular looking bar codes will be phased out (if that's how you say it) and at some point all coupons will have only the long line bar code.
In fact, I saw some coupons like that already in the paper inserts.

        • Rlynn103

Thanks for replying,  I was about to throw them out!   I guess I can just ask at the store before I try to use them.

          • ainman

I was scared to use mine that printed like that too but i just kept them in the stack of coupons and they scanned just fine.

        • Kcreviews

As long as you go to the Coupon Resource Center website and verify that it's a legit coupon, it shouldn't matter what the bar code looks like. It should still scan.

    • Karen

      Thanks Jenny

    • NFaucher

I tried to ask my cashier to do coupons first before scanning my VIC card, and she said my coupons wouldn't double.  Any suggestions when trying to use a competetor coupon like WD $5 off a purchase of 55$ or more?

      • CouponDiva

Same here, I had a $10 and I wanted it rung before the VIC and the cashier refused.  Suppose I don't have a VIC card? Then what?

        • Amy

The store has a special loner card if you want to use coupons. They will not double as per store policy.

      • Sierra_26

It's their policy that any dollar amounts off have to be after coupons. Most of the coupons say that right one there. Even if she scanned it before your card it would still edit it at the end. I just went through it with the $10 off $50 coupon from recyclebank. If you don't have a vic card then you won't get the sale prices and your coupons won't double.

      • Carrieluvsgreg

if you are trying to use the $5 off $55 and wanted to take it off before the vic prices come off you could give that q first, then the vic card in order to then get the sale prices registered and then your q’s which will then double.  (Your Winn Dixie coupon wouldn’t double anyway, so this would be the best way to give your q’s

The Harris Teeter in Hickory NC does super double and triples on a regular basis. My cousin lives there and told me about it. I called the store and sure enough it was true. The do each one at least once a month. They had triples this week and two weeks ago. I called and confirmed both times.

      • Sokrchk0101

I live in Hickory…we actually have triple coupons all the time.  The only time we don't have triples is when we have super doubles!!

      • Chele17rene

So does the hendersonville,nc store too!!!!!!

      • I live in Taylorsville and have been shopping at Harris Teeter in Hickory, NC.  I never can find Items I have for coupons the shelves are wipped out and they wont restock the items….. I spoke to a manager and they told me that If I'm not in line at 7am Wednesday morning I wont be able to get anything cause some ppl come in and wipe those Items that have coupons and are on sale by 8am… This is so bad when someone like me is trying to shop on a one household income and I can't even get what we need… Just saying…….

        • Lopezshopping

Try asking them for a raincheck for that item that you went to grab on sale but is no longer available.  Mine did here with a Dixie Crystals sugar sale I missed out on a couple of weeks ago.  Just make sure to present the cashier with the raincheck voucher first before ringing up.

        • Itsmecrystald

I've had the same problem in Hickory. I don't understand how the shelves can get cleaned out so fast when they are so strict on the 3 like coupon policy. They have given me grief at nearly every shopping trip there about my coupons. I've stopped going there as often as I was, because it always ends up being a huge headache.

        • Katie

Yeah when my store Raleigh, NC does doubles they no longer have a 3 coupon rule, or at least they don't follow it. I see people just taking everything on the shelf and having no problems at check out.

    • Jello_2001

How do you download the ConAgra coupons?  I can never find it on the page.

Also, is there a way to work around the fb coupons that want to access addtl info?

      • Lopezshopping

I've never had any luck at all with ConAgra… tried finding them but no luck.  Joined the site but nothing.  I don't think I've ever gotten anything in email for coupons for any of their brands.  Please share if you have any better luck.

        • Jello_2001

Jenny will post quite a few coupons that link to their site but I have NEVER been successful downloading one.

If anyone would help, I would love access since their coupons are usually pretty good.

          • Twoawilkes

I was on that site today and printed the coupons w/ no problems. It took a few minutes for the coupons to show up but other than that no problem

      • crisci

Regarding FB, I set up an account just for coupons and deals that don't link to my friends in any way. Like you, I didn't feel right giving out their info so I could get a coupon. All you need is another email addres, which you probably already have for junk mail. HTH.

        • Jello_2001

Thanks Crisci!  I will try your awesome idea!!

      • V_elaine

go to http://www.conagrafoods.com.  There are revolving tabs with pictures.  FInd the the one that has the red thumbtack that says child hunger ends here.  Click on Learn How You Can Help.  Then in the space where you enter an 8 digit code, type in 63829897.  The same code works over and over.  This will access the coupons and provide meals to kids who don’t have them.

    • Jello_2001

Does anyone know how often the Asheville store does Super Doubles and Triples?

      • Chele17rene

About every 4-5 weeks. Should be this week, but HT didnt do anything the month of July last yr. So not sure what is gonna happen next. About 2 months ago was Triples for the first time in 14 months, so anything can happen!!!! HTH

    • Eliza-K

I thought I read where the 80% ground beef was going to be $1.99? Anyone else see this posted?

      • Sonyrose34

It is on sale at Duram and Cary stores for 1.99/lb

      • Carrieluvsgreg

yes, it was at our store.

      • Jennapatrick8

Yes, this was in my E-Vic deals.

    • Kimberlydiana

      confused…jimmy dean bowls = 1.40 each?
the coupon says dont double :( so doesnt it mean they wont double it at harris teeter?

      • CouponDiva

I have seen coupons double that say don't double @ HT

        • Kimberlydiana

k trying to learn the rules but its worth a shot thanks

          • keuans

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.  From my experience they usually do double.  They are usually stricter during their super double/triple promos.

      • Carrieluvsgreg

this is another one of those grey areas… the cashier has to pull the q and force it not to double.  One might suggest that you could show it to them, others will argue that it's the cashiers job to go through and catch it.  As a mom of a 17 year old daughter that is a cashier at HT, it is often difficult for them to catch it when there is pressure to be fast, so often times they don't catch it.

    • Once again I find myself needing to correct misleading coupon matchups on this site. On the first aid to go packs, the $3/3 Coupon actually CANT be used. The coupon states: $3/d newborn skin care essentials: Johnson's head to toe baby wash (4oz+), johnson's baby lotion (4oz+), johnson's baby shampoo (4oz+), or any desitin diaper rash products, therefore canNOT be used on the first aid kits, and doing so constitutes fraud.

      • Dccouponer

Jenny does a lot of work for us and making a mistake is not fraud …if you dislike the information you get on this sight so much stop looking at it

      • CouponDiva

I know it seems wrong, but if the coupon scans and it is in the same product family, how is it fraud.  The coupons are put out for people to try the product or product family.  I don't see it being a problem, the store still will get refunded if they send in the coupons.  Just saying.

        • Amy

Sometimes stores do not get paid back for coupons that are used on the wrong products. It is fraud, it is not okay, and you shouldn't expect that kind of behavior to go unnoticed. I used to work for a grocery store and we wouldn't get reimbursed if someone used excessive gang-cut coupons, misused a coupon for one product on another (usually discovered because the 'hot' coupon was good on a product the store didn't sell), because some jerk put blank paper in the self checkout instead of their coupons, etc. Stores do notice that in their numbers and it does determine how they plan coupon events, mega sales, and so on. That being said, Jenny works hard on these match-ups and there are sometimes mistakes in them. If you find that your coupon doesn't match what you are buying, put it back or don't use the coupon. There are so many legitimate ways to get free/cheap grocery items that there really isn't a need to bend/break/get around the rules.

      • Kddnwinter

I noticed that too.  I also noticed the Honest Tea coupon doesn't match – it states it's for 16.9 or or 16 oz and the 12 oz Honest Tea is on sale for $1.00.  I don't think the Betty Crocker brownie coupon match will work either.  The brownies on sale for $1.00 are not the supreme but the coupon specifies supreme.

        • Lindy

In MY store, the 16.9oz  & 16oz are on sale for $1.00/1…so it will work for me :) Make sure to double check your Express Lane for prices…..

        • Carrieluvsgreg

yes,the brownies coupon does NOT work…

      • paravel43

Also, the sale on Gain is for 50 oz. liquid. The $2.00 coupon is for powder so why is it listed there? According to my express lane search, my HT doesn't even carry powder? I'll take it with me to check though :)

    • Kimberlydiana

i got tide sink packets 3ct for free with a $1 off ONE tide detergent. it didnt specify a size so i got it free. the register beeped at it but the manager was able to override it. dont know why it wouldnt take it. its definately legit to do that. but ima newbie.

    • Skintimate coupon $1.50 and you can get this FREE + overage at Walmart

    • Lyddiejay

There are some new e-vic coupons that make for some decent deals.  They are for the 50 oz HT laundry detergent.  Its 2.99 and the coupon is for $1 off.  The HT paper towels are $5 for 8 rolls and the coupon is $2 off.  HT cranberry juice is $2 per item and the coupon is for $1 off 2 items.  That makes them $1.50 each.  Thats better than I pd last time for cranberry jc.  Those are just a few I saw.  Gotta check the pg deals too.

      • Jen

I tried to use that paper towel eVic and it didn't ring up…the coupon says it's for the Ultra paper towels, and the ones that are $5 are the regular paper towels.  :(  The laundry detergent was a good deal, though!!

        • Lyddiejay

Too bad about the ptowels.  Since I go there any way I will still pick up detergent and crnbrry jc.

    • Kimberlydiana

ive been doing this for about a little over a month. im starting to get the hang of it but i still have SO much more to learn. im really confused about how people on extreme couponing are able to do what they do with the store policies. harris teeter and lowes food double coupons but their coupon policy says you can only use three of the same coupon a day per vic card. i split up my transactions like ive seen people do on the show, is that ok?? i brought my bf? 1 time so there wouldnt be a problem doing that. this couponing business is hard, but fun.

      • Carrieluvsgreg

Because you have a vic card, splitting your transaction doesn't help you.  The card you have will only allow you to double 20 q's per day.  All of the stores near me have similar coupon limits so doing what you see on the show would be impossible for me.  (not that I want 400 gatorades…)  And bringing another person at HT doesn't help either, unless that person has their own card.  Again~the card keeps track of your coupons, eVics and purchases.  So, there is no way around it.  I have found that, except on Super Double coupon week (or Triples) that I don't need more than 20 to double on a regular shopping trip… I usually have enough left to throw in a couple of free items that I just give away.  Since most of my q's are $1.00 they don't double on a normal week they don't go toward the 20.

        • Carrieluvsgreg

One more thing… they (HT) allow you to use 3 manufacture PLUS 2 internet q's for the same product bringing your total allowable purchase to 5 of those same items.  (Not always available at the same time, but useful info if it happens!) The doubling rule still applies, they will double only 20, so if those 5 are under 1.00, they will double but will leave you with 15 other q's to double.  (make sense?)

          • gastonclipper

No it's 3 like coupons per item total of which only 2 can be Internet Q's.

            • Carrieluvsgreg

I just verified with HT's q policy, it says:”We double up to three identical items with manufacturer coupon; additional coupons for like item will be honored at face value.”Under the internet coupon section it states: With the purchase of two like manufacturer’s products, we accept two internet coupons, per store, per day.I may be wrong, but this seems to state that up to 5 can be doubled, (3 manufacture, 2 internet) and there is no limit to manufacture q's if you don't need them to double.

          • google1084

carrie I work at HT and it is only 3 like coupons per item which 2 of those 3 can be internet coupons.

            • Margoren

Doesn't the new policy say 3 like printed coupons?

            • Carrieluvsgreg

Google, thanks for the input. My daughter is a cashier at our store too. We definitely can use 3 manufacture and 2 internet q's for the same item.  I guess it varies from store to store.

        • Jello_2001

I was unaware Harris Teeter only allows you to double 20 coupons a day.  Is that the same for all stores, specifically the Asheville store?

          • Lopezshopping

I believe that would be correct Jello_2001.  But then, 20 a day is pretty good considering you can go back the next day or day after and use another 20.  I laugh because that Extreme Couponing show is good for tips but has created some hoarders as well as a result.  I have about 10 boxes of cereal in my pantry, but won't need to stockpile 30 or 40 boxes as I see that the cereal typically goes on sale frequently anyway.  lol!  Funny how the show has created some OCD hoarders trying to buy 50 boxes of cereal or 80 gatorades even though they don't even need all of that now.  lol!

Thanks but 20 a day is a lot, unless you live 20 or more miles from the store and are planning a big shopping trip for extra savings as opposed to wasting the gas for multiple trips.  If it is a super double shopping day, then the 20 super doubled coupons dont get you very far.

btw- I have only seen 1.5 episodes of the show and really dont care for it because it seems unpractical to me.  I was inspired by my sister who saved my family thousands of dollars and helped my parents host a family reunion that they really would not have been otherwise able to host.  And this was pre-Extreme Couponing.  If she only lived in my time zone and was familiar with my stores, I would not feel so lost.

            • Lopezshopping

Oh I agree Jello… I don't really use 20 in a day at all either.  lol!  But for those that do try to use to the max, 20 a day isn't bad at all. For me, it's not so bad given that the HT is right up the street.. and on the other end, about 5 minutes up the street, is another HT and BI-LO across the street from it.  lol.

As far as Extreme Couponing, I agree with you in that it's not practical at all.  I will admit that watching this show once or twice got me motivated to look into couponing, even though most of the shoppers on that show are women.  That wasn't going to stop me though, so I decided to look into it further after seeing the show, and learned more.  So the show helped me in that way, but nothing more.  I will not become an OCD grocery hoarder as that is not practical at all.  I will also not buy brand names that I know I don't use just for the sake of couponing or saving money on it.

Couponing has however also helped me in trying name brands that I may have not thought to otherwise try at regular price, so that has been good.  However, since the show and my learning more about it, and of course with Jenny's wonderful site here, I've been able to save decently now as opposed to before.  Prior to this site, I NEVER was able to get FREE items, or to pay under $1.50 for items that are normally $4 or $5 bucks each or more, so that was a blessing as well!  I've also started a stockpile of things I know we'll use, such as toilet tissue, paper towels, and detergent… things that cost quite a penny when not on sale, so it's helped.  I see as well that couponing served as a great blessing on your end with your sister doing all she did and hosting a family reunion in the process.  That is really great to hear!!

It did take me a bit of time, but with some planning and research, it has helped me a lot!

            • Jello_2001

lol!  I told my sister she should coupon to save for a family trip to Hawaii.  She said she would be too afraid to be on that other popular show…Hoarders. :<)

            • Lopezshopping

LOL!  Yeah, I don't want to be like that either, so I don't blame her.  I'm not trying to change out our master bedroom closet for a stockpile room.  Right now, I'm content with how I'm saving, and it works for me.  The excel sheet, buying coupons, and joining manufacturers with my couponing email address has helped more than a bundle… wish I had known about doing this years ago!  lol

            • Lathamdm

I don’t believe in hoarding either, but if you can get items for free, women’s shelters and other charitable organizations always need food and toiletry items.

          • Me

Yes the Asheville store also onlu allows 20 per day.

            • Jello_2001

              Thanks Me!

        • Kimberlydiana

thanks for ur help. i have another one? they allow 3 of the same coupons per day? but i used 4 once for cereal and it let me no problem. am i understanding that limit right?

          • Karawtn

It is my understanding that you can only double 3 per day.  If the Q was 1.00 or over it will let you use all 4.  I could be wrong, but that is the way I see it.

      • Lopezshopping

The people on that show are more than likely allowed to go beyond the rules by the supermarkets because they're on TV.  The show is good for tips but is more than likely overinflated in what you can actually do.  That said, I feel that any savings you can get is good.  I've been couponing for about two months probably, and so far, I've gotten a few free Colgate toothpastes, free pasta noodles, and have saved over 60% on several products including getting boxes of cereal for $1.00 or less, boxes of aluminum foil for $0.49 each, Hefty bags for under $1.00 each, and more.  You can't do an Extreme Couponing type grocery because as you said, after 20 coupons, they don't double.  But, you can build a stockpile week by week by getting the items while they're on sale.  It's great!  Takes a bit of time but can be very great savings over a couple of months or more.

        • Kimberlydiana

cool yeah like they always say its too good to be true. so hows ur stockpile going?? mine is small but i still love it haha i think its genius to get it while its cheap so u dont need to buy it when u need it then pay full price!

          • Lopezshopping

Exactly Kimberly!  That show was too good to be true… but, the couponing and getting free items IS true, so I'm good with that.  lol!  My stockpile is coming along actually.  I started couponing in I believe end of May if I remember correctly, and it's slowly building up.

So far, I've managed to get 3 free Colgate toothpastes, 3 free boxes of Mueller's pasta noodles, and a few other things.  I've also built a stockpile of cereal, mainly 5 boxes of Cheerios (as my toddler loves eating them), some other flavors of cereal, in all about maybe 10 boxes.

I've stockpiled on Cottonelle toilet tissue when it went on sale and have about 2 or 3 packs, as well as Bounty paper towels.  Stockpiled on Reynold's aluminum foil when it went on sale B1G1 some weeks back and bought about 5 boxes for about $0.49 each, as well as Hefty storage bags at $0.49 each with the B1G1 and coupons.

Stockpiled on marinades and sauces, on some canned goods (though I WISH ConAgra would provide coupons for their DelMonte and RoTel products!!  lol), and stockpiled on a few other items we regularly use.

I still have a stack of coupons that I got, either from buying at CouponDede (I haven't bought a newspaper since finding that website link on this site), or from joining manufacturers with an email I created simply for couponing and printing coupons on items I need as they're available!  I made an Excel spreadsheet simply showing me the value of each coupon, the product it's for, and expiration dates.  I'll then plan my shopping each week and pull aside the coupons I know I'll use after checking the sales on this site for HT, BI-LO, Lowe's Foods, and sometimes Walmart or Target.

It's a bit of work, but it is really paying off.  I can't say exactly how much I saved as I don't know a total, but, I do know I've saved and can see a nicer and more full looking pantry, cabinets, linen closet, and fridge.  If I had to guess, I'd say I probably saved so far at least 50 or 60% since learning couponing.

            • Kimberlydiana

              *LOPEZ*

awesome! congrats hey thanks for sharing ur plan hopefully i can put it into practice myself. yes it is work but i agree its worth it.

the bad thing for me is i dont have the internet at home or printer :( i usually go to the library to look at blogs, but they dont allow much time only 1hr 30 a day. i def need more than that! lol. maybe one day i will get internet *sigh*
i just tried couponcollectors i dont know how it will work out yet im hoping to get oral b floss free at target. but the coupons expires 7-31. im hoping they came in mail today!

            • Lopezshopping

Does the library allow you to print coupons there?  If so, you can create an email account simply for couponing, and then let some of the deals come to you by taking a quick moment to subscribe to the manufacturers of the products you use.  I'd say that between this site, Coupondede (which I use to buy the coupons I want and spend no more than $7.00 on a stack of coupons that I know I'll eventually use), and the manufacturers, I've done pretty well.  I had checked into other coupon websites, but honestly overwhelmed myself when starting out.  I've learned a bit more, and now, those are my main areas… Southernsavers here, Coupondede, and the Excel sheet I created (which you don't necessarily need as long as you organize your coupons in some way to k now when they expire) so that I can try to take advantage of the specials when they come up.

            • Twoawilkes

I have a friend who lives in another state and she does extreme couponing. The storre she shops at has double coupons and does not limit amount of coupons. Since the show has been on the air stores are starting to put limits and other restrictions. I'm sure some things on show are manipulated but know that extreme couponing is possible in some stores… just don't know of any around Fay NC

            • Karawtn

If you have a Bi-Lo in your area that is the only store I can reasonalby “extreme coupon” in.  The only limit they have is no more than 10 “like” coupons.  They do not limit the number of coupons per day and my store (close to Charlotte NC) doubles up to 0.99.  I can usually score pretty good there, but I only get 5 inserts a week, so I don't know if that really qualifies for “extreme”…lol!

    • Tim

Does anyone know how to you get the angel soft toilet paper coupon? I can't find where to register on the site?

    • Kimberlydiana

single pac tic tacs are $1.29 reg. there is a coupon .75/1 so that would make it free. harris teeter will lower the price when doubling a coupon to make it free right? i know they will if its not a double coupon.

      • Google1084

they will only make the item free you will not get the full $1.50 off

        • Kimberlydiana

k thanks for claritying. the coupon policies so confuse me!

           free works for me :)
im not expecting overage everywhere, ofcourse itd be nice.

    • Google1084

For some people who are wondering since I work at HT i'll give a little insight.

On a normal day we double 20 coupons, but that doesn't mean we only take 20 coupons. Make sure if you are going to use 30 coupons that you give them all the ones you want to double first then you can give them the $1.00 and over.

Also having 5 vic cards doesn't make a difference as to how many transactions you can do in a day. All vic cards that have the same address will be linked in the system so if you have 2 people who live in the house with vic cards who registered them under their own name with their own phone number once one person uses 20 coupons that day the limit has been reached. They also link the cards as far as evics go as well so it's only per house hold not per person.

I know that it's nice to get things for very cheap or free just don't take advantage of the system because so many people taking advantage of the system ruins it for everyone that's why triple coupons isn't done hardly at all anymore.

Also remember if you are shopping and something is not on the shelf and its on sale GET A RAINCHECK those come in great handy when during super double and triple coupons and remember rainchecks never expire and can be used at any HT.

      • Jello_2001

Thanks your post was very helpful!

      • Jessica M

I've never run into that problem at my HTs.  I shop for myself and I also do my mother's shopping.  We both have our own vic cards under the same address and never run into that problem.  I guess that depends on your location.

      • Lopezshopping

Thanks for the insight from the inside.  And I completely agree with you Google, people try to cheat the system too much, and then want to get mad when changes are made.  I knew that the doubling was on 20 but that more coupons could be taken, but didn't think about making sure if I use more than 20 (which so far, the most I've used in a trip is probably 16), to use the $1.00 or more last.  I also figured there was some way within the Vic cards that linked addresses too, though I never felt the need to try to cheat for two vic cards.  lol!

Rainchecks I actually recently learned about when I missed a sugar sale at HT a couple of weeks ago, and asked a cashier about them.  They kindly wrote up the raincheck for me, and when the sugar was stocked back in days after the sale was over, I was still able to get them and use the coupons, so it worked out great!  Wish I had known about them instead of going to FOUR different HT's when foil was on sale and none of the locations had any left in stock.  LOL.  It'd be nice to see the triples come back into effect, even if it's at least 2 or 3 times a year for a 2 week period.  Wishful thinking.  lol

      • Aveverett

Thank you for the in-sight. I really like HT and am a little PO that many of the stores are not offering much do to the new coupon show.

      • TheChapLeigh

A reply about the first 20 Qs handed over to double then the rest over one dollar to double:

I had to make 2 separate purchases awhile back, one order for myself & the second for food pantry. I asked the cashier if i could do, say, 8 double-able Qs for the first transaction & then other's that were over a dollar, & then the remaining 12 double-able Qs in the second transaction, but a total of 30 or more q's over the two transactions (some under a dollar, some over). We both watched to see how the computer would handle this, & it was able to track the 20 total double-able Qs across the 2 transactions, despite the “over-a-dollar” Qs mixed in. No problem about the order or even in 2 separate transactions on the same VIC card.

    • Soniac803

will harris teeter have super double this month

      • Carrieluvsgreg

Probably not.  I have shopped HT for over a year straight, we have only had super doubles once and super triples once during that year.

      • Amy

Not this month. Guess it also depends where u live. We had sds every month since may.

    • 31withjennifer

Hi, does anyone know when the new $110 booklet is coming out?  It said check mid-July and there hasn't been anything all month, now it says check mid-August! :(  Am I missing something?

      • Agardner

        what booklet is this?

    • Savinmymoney

how do I get the Chef Boyarde Coupons?  All I can get to is the hunger site, i don't see any coupons there…

      Thanks!

      • Carrieluvsgreg

you have to have a code to plug into the box… I don't have a recent one, sorry!  :(

      • LLewis

63829897  I just used this one and was able to print the q's.

    • Ncrockhound

The HT in Boger City, NC, does NOT have the Bob Evans Oven Bakes that the internet coupon is for on sale with the other BE sides and will not apply those coupons to the ones that are on sale. Basically all the BE sides they have on sale are mac & cheese and a variety of mashed potatoes. Darn, I was really looking forward to those hash browns.

      • Carrieluvsgreg

our store in NE Florida doesn't have them either, plus our refrigerated sides were on sale 2/$7 which was not nearly as good of a deal… <sigh>
        </sigh>

    • Mysterygirl05

If I have the 2 dollars off milk when you buy two keebler products and another coupon off keebler cookies can I use them both since the 2 dollars is off the milk?

      • Carrieluvsgreg

yep, unless either specifies that it can not be used in conjunction with another coupon.

    • Dbc2cl

Lowes food is the best place to get kellogs cereal this week!!!!
For 10 or 70 cent per box stock up

    • alisa

      No super doubles this month?

      • Cherylannh27

I heard from someone that it was going to happen this week or so.

    • Carrieluvsgreg

Just to clarify, the meal deal actually is for two free pizzas…. they are on sale for 2/$10.98.  The amount taken off for the meal deal is $10.97, so you are paying for the soda, cups, spoons and ice cream (and a penny for the 2 pizzas…) which totals $12.68 at my store.

      • Kimberlydiana

ok yeah i thought i read that deal wrong b/c i went there last night n asked them since i didnt see a sign or n e thing. its not what i thought it was

    • Lopezshopping

Thought to ask but, isn't the Breyer's B1G1 free this week?  I noticed it on its own area as $3.50 instead of in the Buy One Get Ones section, unless that's my HT that lists it on the website flyer.  Just thought to mention it.

Go and get you some good deals :))

      • Carrieluvsgreg

I got some great deals on hair care products (Garnier, Pantene and Loreal) last Saturday. Today it was Honey Nut Cheerios, Colgate Toothpaste and the jumbo box of pop tarts.  The toothpaste was .36 after q's, the giant box of Honey Nut Cheerios were .45 and since I didn't have any more applicable q's for the pop tarts, they were an astounding $1.65.  Not too bad after I got both Gillette Deodorant and shower gel for FREE after my eVic savings!  It was a great day to be a HT shopper!

      • Kimberlydiana

daaaaang! aw the harris teeter i go to on capital in the boonies doesnt have that i saw carts in the freezer area. maybe ill double check other spots while im there today.

      • poocheroo

Yeah the HT in Suffolk, VA had the “scratch and dent” carts out 2 weeks ago and I got soooo much shampoo and conditioner that was practically free.  None of the shaving deals you got were there but still very very good.  Always check the clearance bins and take time to dig.  I have scored some good makeup and vitamin deals that way too!

    • candy

new to harris teeter what amount do they double up to?

      • kenz

.99 cents unles they are having super doubles or triples!

      • Lathamdm

They double up to .99 on normal weeks, maximum of 20 coupons.  Other coupons are rung as face value.

    • Jeannettaterry

Can I use my e-vic coupons, manufactured coupons, and savingstar coupons on one item? Or is the savingstar considered a manuf. coupon? If that makes any sense. Also whats the deal with HT taking competitors coupons? Went one day and they said they could went back a wk or two later and the cashier stated they only take ones that are like $5.00 off $25 purchase and I cant seem to find anything like that.

      • poocheroo

I believe you can use all three coupons but I could be wrong since I have not been using saving star for that long.  As for the competitors q's, go to Harris Teeter and print out the coupon policy and have it with you when you shop.  I can't tell you how many times i get a different answer from a cashier.  It is not their fault it is just improper training.  I know HT won't double competitors coupons nor will they honor free items.  I am also thinking that the coupon you described is one that they would not take.  Others on this blog would be better equipped to answer but having the policy with you is the best and when an issue comes up, you just pull it out (being polite of course) and ask to speak to the manager.

      • RebeccaFer

Yes, you can use all three. E-vic are store coupons which can be stacked with manf qs. Savingstar is linked to your card and HT doesn't track that since it doesn't come off on their receipt/end. It's those rare items that can actually be a money maker depending on the price and the coupons. Regarding competitor coupons, the first cashier was wrong and the second was correct. They will only take $/$$ coupons not store coupons from a competing store. HTHs! :D

      • Phyllis

Competitor's CouponsWe gladly accept local competitors’ manufacturer coupons. We also redeem circular or direct-mail coupons for money off of the total order. We do not accept any internet coupons from other retailers.

The above is right from HT's coupon policy. You can use a competitor's coupon if it is a manufacturer's coupon (has a mailing address and redemption instructions for the retailer ). I use lots of catalina's that print out from one of my local stores that doesn't double @ HT….HT doesn't double them, but they tend to be high value.

        • Twoawilkes

Harris Teeter is getting much stricter about inforcing their coupon policy to the t. The fayetteville store told me they do not consider Target a competitor and will not be taking their coupons unless it says manufacturer coupon on it. They started this 2 weeks ago

    • Helppleasethanks

i signed up for evic about a month ago but still havnt received their emails for it, but I am receiving the fresh catch ad that i also signed up for. Am i being jipped here? Anyone know how long this is supposed to take?!

      • Hmm

ya, anyone with input? i heard this happening a lot

      • Jennienallen

should only take 1 week. they e-mail every Wednesday.

      • Lathamdm

I had trouble with that too.  I called their customer service and asked them to help me.  The lady was very helpful, and I started getting the emails right away.  Good luck!

      • Karawtn

I had to get a new card at HT a few months back.  Mine was so old it fell off somewhere and I couldn't remember what phone number it was tied to.  They issued me a new one and I asked that it be linked to e-vic.  I waited a few weeks with no emails or specials.  I called customer service and the lady set it up in a matter of minutes, but she informed me that the individual stores are very slack about it and that most of them never get entered.  Thought that was kinda sad :(

        • Ibdqt34

I had the same problem. When the date came and went of when they said I'd be part of evic, I called their customer service. Someone even called me back on July 4th to correct the problem! I felt bad she had to work on July 4th but that is awesome customer service!!!

    • poocheroo

Off topic but I don't see Farm Fresh stores listed. If you have one in your area, they double coupons up to $1.00 every wednesday and they also do a lot of deals where if you buy participating items you get money off your next purchase.  On wednesday I spent $18 on a $44 bill and also got back catalina for $8 off my next purchase plus a free gallon of milk.  Not too shabby.  I make HT and Farm Fresh part of my morning routine every wednesday

    • Smichelle87

Has anyone tried to use multiple Kashi coupons at HT???? The coupon says one per visit but I know sometimes they double coupons that aren't supposed to be doubled and i wondered if it was kinda like that? Or if the system would kick it our after one like if you try to use multiple coupons on one item??

      • Shelandon

Not sure about Kashi and how much they are but I was just informed by my HT that they will not double more than 3 manufacturer coupons on the same product. So say your coupon is for .50 off, you can only purchase 3 with 3 coupons (since they will double it). But if you have a MF  for $1, you could purchase more than 3 with more than 3 coupons.

        • guest

Yeah, that is corp. policy, it's in there coupon “rules”.  If it's an printed coupon they will only take 2.

      • TheChapLeigh

I noticed this small print for the frozen entree coupon that came out a few weeks back… & I wondered the same thing, but I wasn't about to go back ANOTHER day just to buy the second entree. Worked just fine at the register, but I did purchase 2 different varieties of entrees.

I've read before somebody asking about using COUPONS on MARKDOWNS items, I just called customer service to find out because I got myself addicted to those markdown carts! there is always something I need! the answer is Yes, you can use the coupons as long the coupon doesn't  exceed the price of the item… that means, if the item is $1.99 and your coupons is $2off it won't work. I had no idea before, so the manager would overwrite it… but thought it was a good idea to share this info with you guys, good luck and happy shopping!!!

      • Mrs Lewis05

if i know this is going to happen i just tell them to redo the q to make it work :D

      • mamabelbel

I just got mine earlier this week.  I am not sure if I still have the mailing that it came with.  It may have some contact info on it.  I will post something if I can find it.  Since I just got mine a few days ago, there may not be a problem with yours, it may just be on its way!

    • Kimberly

I had a couple of evic coupons for the HT Your Home brand.  8ct paper towels, sale $5.00 – $2.00 evic coupon = $3.00.  50oz liquid laundry detergent sale $2.99 – $1.00 evic coupon = $1.99.

      • Kimberly

Just in case anyone was interested, the coupons have re-loaded for me after I've used them.  So far I have 2 paper towels and 2 detergents and another round of coupons to do it again.

        • Lathamdm

How do you know they reloaded?  I've never seen that.

          • Kimberly

The evic coupons are different than the evic email specials; the coupons are sometimes re-offered, but the specials aren’t.  On my evic coupon pages, the ones for the HT brand paper towels and laundry detergent just keep coming back up as available to select.

If you’re not signed up for the evic coupons you can do it here: http://www.harristeeter.com/promotions/e-vic/e-vic_coupons.aspx  Once you sign up, there will be pages of coupons you can select to attach to your card.  They don’t double, but you can stack them with paper coupons.

I hope that makes sense!  :)

I'm interested in that answer too Kimberly. I'd love to pick up 2 more Gains.

I went to HT today to shop and was treated like a thief. My 4 coupons would not scan and the store mgr told me that they would not take them. She implied that they were  not good. Mine came of Southern Saver. Anyone else  having problems with HT

      • Lathamdm

The HT where I shop is really helpful.  They always have to override the register and they tell me I've saved too much money, but they have never given me a hard time.  Personality, maybe?  Good luck!

        • Ibdqt34

I agree. The HT's I shop at most often are extremely helpful and friendly. If something beeps, they come over, assess the situation and override it. They've been great – which is hard to do with all the real thiefs out there! Maybe she was having a bad day? :-(

      • Hahasowhat

Aw, that sucks. That happened to me once during triple coupons, and I had about seven or eight printable coupons that just wouldn't scan, I was lucky that I had a nice cashier and manager on duty. They just keyed in my coupons for me.

Question for everyone here. I'm still new at this, but I love this site, it's been a huge help! I've noticed the Publix coupon sheets seem to have some great coupons, but there are no Publix in my area. Is there another way to get these? Thanks!

    • Boysssngirl

My Harris Teeter is telling me they can only take one Walgreens Register Rewards per order.  Anyone else having this problem?

Question about coupon doubling for HT… if I have a $1 coupon, will they double it up to $.99, or does the value of the coupon have to be $.99 or less?

      • kenz

it has to .99 cents or less unless it is super doubles or triples

    • Valerie1

There's a really good deal on Kellogg's.  Buy one fiber plus antioxidants cereal ($3) & a fiber plus eggo waffle ($3.19) and get a fiber pus antioxidant bar free.  If you buy 3 of each, use .70 double to 1.40 for each cereal then use 2 of the $2.25 off 3 you can get all of it for $9.87….retail value of $28.14.  You may be able to even do better if you have enough of the $.70's to use on for each of the 9 items, it'd then be $5.97 …..however, that is sometimes pushing it for the stores since the .70 ones are not really for the waffles or the bars.  Still, worth a shot.

    • Mlgrazier

hope this new weeks deals look better than the last few weeks..HT hasn't been looking great the last few weeks….ugh

Has anyone heard if they are doing Super doubles this month. It should start tomorrow, but I haven't heard anything.

      • Mela1055

Where did you hear they are doing super doubles? I have always been told they only do super doubles a few times a year and they just had them a few months ago…. Maybe I misunderstood or am mixed up :)

    • NC Savers

If anyone is heading out today for some last min. items – got a great deal!!  The Raleigh, NC area got a bunch of Harris Teeter brand coupons.  There was one for $3.00 of any Your Home brand paper towels in there.  Stopped in today and the 8 ct roll pack was on sale for 5.99, so with $3 was 2.99 BUT, there was also a $2.00 evic coupon for these paper towels that came off, making the 8 pack of paper towels only $.99!!!  Can't beat that!
