The Kellogg’s gas card rebate has ended early due to popular demand. The rebate was supposed to be available through April 30th, but they will not be honoring any more submissions.

In the FAQs section Kellogg’s states that the rebate was very popular and supplies did not last long. Kellogg’s will be honoring all rebates sent in before April 2, 2012.

So, please be aware that if you have not sent in your rebate or if you sent it in recently, they will not honor it.

Search for more Kellogg’s coupons.

(Thanks, Stacey!)

UGH!   I had mine ready and kept forgetting to put it in the mail!  Sent it with my husband this morning to mail!  :(

    • Lisa

I’m saving my UPCs in case they do this again. Then I will be that much more ahead.

      • Ambedelia

That’s a good idea. I missed out on a Kellogg’s rebate that ended 12/31/11, but I saved the UPCs. I was able to use those to get this rebate.

    • Veganpadua

      total bummer

    • Donna

I just found this out from having my rebate rejected!  Thanks for the comment about saving the UPCs in case they ever have another promotion like this again.

    • tee54

sent mine in weeks ago and have had no response

    • carrie

Thanks for letting us know! I was planning on sending mine in this week…guess I’ll just hold on to them for now.

    • cindharb

Dishonoring their commitment (to a 4/30 end date) does not seem like much of a way for them to maintain customer confidence.

      • Snowski824

Most rebates have “while supplies last” in the fine print.

    • Khjbcoupons

i wish we had a section that listed the rebate deals, gift cards etc that are currently in progress.. including drug stores like cvs and target, manufacturers like kellogs,

    • the QPWNR

I just checked Kellogg’s on eTrade, and as of last report, the company had $430 million in cash.   Claiming that their supply of rebate money has run out is simply dishonest!

      • KARENR

No, it isn’t. The allotted cards/money for this promotion ran out. NOT DISHONEST.

    • Ugh! I only sent 3 of my 5 allowed rebates.  Oh well.  I will save the other two.  I bet they will do this deal again.  they did it last year with a deadline of 12/31.  and I participated then too.

It did say “WHILE SUPPLIES LAST” on the form.  I guess this is a lesson to me and all of us to be prompt… next time!

    • JeffVL

To cut it off that early.
I do not think I will be buying ANY Kelloggs products for quite some time.

    • jen r

not a great pr move on kellogg’s part!  i will not be buying the rice krispies i planned to buy this week at publix!!!!

    • Judy

I mailed in my rebate form on April 2nd. Today, it came back to me with the envelope marked Undeliverable as Addressed (even though I had copied down the address correctly). Thanks for telling me why this happened. This was the first time I’d bought Kellogg’s cereal in years. Big mistake on my part…

      • Annodal24

me too just got it back in the mail :(

    • stacykinney

Mine came back today in the mail. I thought maybe it was a scam, but even worse to find out they will not honor the rebate when the form clearly states must be postmarked by 4/30/2012. I personally bought 50 boxes and my father 40 boxes and gave to the local food bank. I had the 4 ready to mail this week. There must be something that can be done. This is terrible and false advertising. Any suggestions?

      • KARENR

No, it is NOT false advertising. The rebate form clearly says WHILE SUPPLIES LAST or 4.30.12. whichever comes first. Not in those words, but put it together and that’s what you get. Sorry you didn’t get to submit yours.

    • jen r

i just contacted kellogg’s with my concern over the ending of this promotion…i might suggest that we all do the same!!!

This is why I don’t participate in rebates that say “while supplies last” because to me that means “at your own risk” !

    • guest

Two of mine came back on yesterday. Well life goes on I’m sure there will be something bigger and better .

    • Nonnie Mouse

Thanks for the heads up. Dang it. Coupon deals run out fast these days…
Will hold mine for next time and send them in sooner.

    • Crgates33

I read they were honoring the ones mailed before April 2.  Well that’s not true.  I sent mine Mar 31 and it was returned saying address unknown.  I know it said while supplies last but its still disappointing and confusing to return it that way.

    • Sg

I rec mine back in the mail Saturday afternoon.  Next time a gas reward card is offered it goes in the mail that week.  Just enogh time to get me to the store.  I sent mine in on April 4.
