I couldn’t find the Dole coupons.  Can anyone suggest a zipcode that has it?

      • Lisaholiman

we had dole coupons at 38843.

    • Cetheri3

When are the crescent rolls going to be 10 for 10 again? They used to be that price all the time, making them $.50 each with coupons :(

      • Jameson

Probably after the holidays.  I miss them!

thank you jenny iwas out of cereal need milk and need the pineapple

      • Perow35810

Oakwood and Drake are by far the WORST!!!!! Avoid them if you can and shop Publix.

    • Atbryant70

The Kroger in Waycross,GA has drastically changed their coupon policy that a person has to make numerous transactions.  It’ ridiculous.  Has anyone else found a problem?

      • Aturner527

Yes – I was told last week at the Kroger in Huntsville, AL that I could only use 2 total internet coupons in a transaction (not two of one item).  That makes it a little difficult to shop! I’ve emailed Kroger for a copy of the new coupon policy but have not received a response yet.

        • Kedmunds1

Which Huntsville location? I need to avoid that one.

        • Stephanie

My mother had this problem in Suwanee, GA two weeks ago.  She convinced them to go ahead and let her do the transaction, but she’s just never going back to Kroger for anything now.  Publix is so much easier to shop, and no “new” rules!

          • Bryarsmom

Agree! Will only shop Publix for grocery items.
            Don’t need the frustration.

        • Bonniewabnitz

This is a copy of what I wrote to kroger on their wb site on customer comments~
please  write your own and send!

I had a very poor experiance today the mananger was extremly rude and went so far as accusing me of copying coupons~which i know is fraud~I informed her that all the numbers were different~she didn’t seem to understand. I think instead of imploying a very extreme coupon policy it may be wiser to inform your staff on what a conterfit coupon intails.~just a suggestion. Five like coupons printed or clipped seems sufficiant to me to limit ~but this buisness of two printed per like item or  manuf. is crazy. I left whole cart load today and I don’t beleive i’ll be spending one more dime in your store. I am a widow with two small children and we live on 1600.00 a month without coupons we can’t afford to eat healthy. Please think about who this new policy is going to hurt. and in the end you are going to lose alot of money~I’m aware that you get reimbursed for every coupon +shipping.Kroger used to be my favorite store, now I feel like I’ve been treated like a criminal.

I have had the same problem with Kroger in Tupelo, MS today.  A manager tried to tell me that this has been the policy for several months, but i knew better. I was completely thrown off when the check out girl started handed several of my coupons back to me without so much as a glance explaining ” you cant use these, we can only except 5 manufacturing coupons per item and only two internet coupons per checkout.” I was so upset, I let them know i would not be back. The only problem is there is no other stores around close that will double coupons like kroger.

        • Bonniewabnitz

I also had the same frustrating experiance ~new coupon policy is more extreme than that stupid show!
Two like printed coupons/manufactor per day ~five like newspaper coupons~ no blurry printed or in any way looks tampered or copied.
It’s all printed out at every register her in Cincinnati Ohio.
I walked away and left whole cart~load.
it was mega ten it took me an hour to shop!
Management was rude and went so far as to accuse me of coping coupons~I  informed her that all the numbers were different~anyways I’m done w/Kroger’s~ I did come back w/my mom and we did seperate trans. for my remaining coupons~but I’m done unless we team up~  I’m so mad at Kroger’s they’ve literly took food outa my kids mouth~we live on 1600.00 a month were not by any streach of the imagination conning Kroger

We were told on Friday that you can only use 5 of like coupons. They did not make us do different transactions, but told us next time to make sure we dont have more than 5 of the same coupon. I think it is crazy!!!!

      • Linette

I was shopping this past week in west TN and they told me only 5 like coupons and only 5 per manufacturer allowed. So, I could only purchase 5 P&G  products either 5 like or 5 different but no more. He gave me a hard time about my bogo schick coupon and said I already had 5 P&G products(computer beeped and that was message) and I politely told him that schick is not a P&G product. He wasn’t gonna let me use my bogo and he wouldn’t let me use my $2.00 off the one I was buying but let someone else with me that checked out in another aisle use hers together. He basically said that if I was to come in and pay with cash and not use coupons there was no limit but because I had coupons there was. Now how fair is that.

I was told last Sunday at the Brandon MS Kroger that you could only use 5 like mf and 2 like internet coupons.  The cashier took all of my coupons and spread them out on the belt and went through and took 2 internet coupons from each stack of like items and handed me the others back and said I couldnt use them.  I’ve also been told at our walmart that I couldn’t use more than 1 internet coupon per like item when I went to buy the Kids Hormel meals that were 1.66 with the 1.00 internet coupon.  She said if I had 3 different “types” of the meals I could use them but that I couldn’t buy 3 of the chicken and noodles and use 3 coupons.  She tried to say that the coupon stated you could onl use 1 coupon per item per transaction (which is correct) then she said that meant i couldn’t use 3 like coupons on 3 like items and she was the manager nice right!  I think these “extreme couponers” are ruining everything for the ones who are just trying to save money on things we use.  I also witnessed a group of about 25 people at our Kroger being “taught” how to coupons and the lady teaching them was teaching them to clear the shelf… it took everything I had not to speak my mind to her!

        • Sarahh569

the extreme coupon show has ruined couponing period, and it will continue to get worse…

      • Poet31501

Yep, had a cashier there (Waycross Kroger) inform me that I could only use 5 like coupons and I had to complete 4 separate transactions. And yes, it is rediculous. Especially since they still allow you to buy the items and use your coupons, just takes a lot of time.

        • bumblesmommy

i know! they are going to let you get them anyways.. it should be per day (or per card.. etc) if they are going to limit.. if they limit 4 like coupons but still allow you to make multiple transactions..  it makes no sense and some people will still be able to clear the shelves – just have 15 different receipts!  (not saying that you do.. just in general)

      • Ahjohns

That is weird, because I went Friday and nothing was told to me about only using 5 like coupons.  Of course, I rarely use 5 like coupons, but you figured they would have something posted.  That did not stop the Dole tomatoes from being sold out, but maybe that will help with the shelf clearing.  I can only go after work around 4:30, so that will work for me.  Of course, Waycross Kroger is no longer open 24 hours so that may have helped with everything I wanted being in stock, but the tomatoes and Cambell’s gravy.

    • Millerjam109

There are $1 off 2 coupons for Heinz gravy under the label on select Heinz gravy jars.

      • Laura

All the ones I saw already expired (10/31).

    • Mikenjuliesanders

Last Wednesday in Kingsport, TN I was told I could only use 5 like coupons, but they allowed me to use at least 20 internet coupons

      • Sjmgirl

How do you get 20 of the same internet coupons?! It sounds a little fishy to me.

        • Wethedeans

She didn’t say “same”. Probably trolling the coupon sites like I do. Sometimes if there is an awesome coupon I print my 2 at home and go to work and print 2 more each off our 2 computers at work.

        • KriK

          EBAY

        • ace

multiple computers…2 laptops, 1 desktop can get you stocked on quite a few items….and some coupons–like the .50/1 honey nut cheerios, I’ve found at least 3 different sources that each allow you to print 2 from 1 computer! .75/box is an awesome deal! especially when you go through 5-0 boxes cereal a week!

    • Slhafter

Funny how all of the Krogers are so rude to the normal people who are not shelf clearers, but were on Extreme Couponing this past Wednesday. I did not see them following any of these so called “new” rules. I refuse to shop there. They are rude and could care less about customer service. I just go to Publix and Bi Lo where I never have a problem and everyone is always nice. They even compliment you on how much you save!

      • bumblesmommy

i agree.. i went to publix tonight with my mom who is visiting from out of town.. wow, what a nice cashier i had! the guy was as friendly as could be and genuinely happy to be working there.  i always get on here to check the kroger ads.. but i rarely go anymore..

    • Mel

I’m in the mid-Atlantic area and here the General Mills deal is buy 4 participating products and save $3 instantly (limit 2 instant rebates).

      • Anonymous

Same here….we should be able to get4 boxes of honey nut cheerios for .75ea!! :)

    • Tadonda2

I actually had a cashier tell me her store manger said that people who coupon are bordering on theft…well this “thief” will not give Kroger any more money.  I will continue to shop at Publix where I am treated very well and will make sure my friends all do the same. I don’t think Kroger realizes how much business they are going to lose with their policies and horrible attitude.

    • Ramseycrew

Here in the  Wichita ks area when the policy first changed in Oct. and broke on the news. we were being told the same thing at first.( 5 like coupons for the paper and 2 internet per day period) Though when they ran the story on the news the spokesperson for kroger said 2 internet per product per day. I contacted my stores manager and he looked into it and they decided that they were reading it wrong and that it is per manufacturer, which is better but not good. Today I spoke to them again because some items are difficult to tell if the are from the same manufacturer, some times like with GMills ALOT of items fall under that. And how do we know. They told me that it would be ok to use even 2 pillsbury bisq, and 2 pillsb cresents, and 2 bugels and so on as long as they were for completely different products and not just different amounts off. Theat it didn’t matter if they were actually owned by the same company and such. So at least here it seems it is now allot better. I hope everyone else is able to find someone to speak with that can come to some sort of understanding. I d think a lot of stores are interpreting the policy in the wrong manner. Because the spokesperson on the news which I think came out of either Chicago or Ohio said it was per product which is really the same as the 5 like coupons policy just 2. Although the 5 like they have said you can have 5 others for the same product as long as it is a different coupon, say it’s worded differently or for a different amount or exp date and so forth. I hope this helps any one.

    • Asolstice06

I have had problems with Kroger many many times. I actually live right across the street from one, and it is the only store close to me. We have a publix about 15 minutes away.
At the beginning of this year I could see a big change in my Krogers attitude towards coupons. I actually had a cashier get in my face and tell me that he wouldnt take my coupon. A few weeks later another cashier accused me of counterfitting coupons. And soon after that a different cashier actually turned her light off when she saw my husnand coming towards her line.
I could sit and complain about Kroger all night with you fellow couponers, but it wont make a lick of difference.
If you want to see a change in Kroger, then you need to stop shopping there…. even when they have excellent deals and freebies. Continue to email them and tell them how you feel and what your bad experiences are. And be sure to email the stores you are happy with and tell them how you feel and why you like their stores.
The real couponers will stop shopping at Kroger until their policies change, and these fake “‘extreme” couponers will continue to shop their until they get boared with couponing. When that happens Kroger will have no customers left.

      • Jessdmny

I had a serious problem with them last week. I was stocking up on some free toothpaste that was 10/$10. When I came to the check out the cashier told me that I couldn’t get 25. I told her there was no limit set on them. She looked at my coupons, rolled her eyes and said, “Only 4 like coupons per transaction.” I looked at her and said, “Well ring me up 7 times if you’d like.” I had 7 transactions and then the manager told me not to bother coming back.

        • AAA

How many teeth do you need to clean for stocking up on 25 tubes?  I’m all for getting a great bargain but there is excess.  Chances are you will find this deal again in a month or so.  I’ve never had any problems with Kroger but I also use common sense when it comes to the number of items I buy, not to mention being respectful of all shoppers (couponers or not) who might need to get it as well.  Nothing is more frustrating than trying to pick up an item and find it out of stock over and over again.

        • Lillian

WTF!!! YOU are THE reason why SOME Kroger’s HAVE TO limit the number of coupons! I DON’T care if you’re sending them to the troops, or giving them to the homeless shelter. I do that, but I DON’T buy 25 at once. PRE-ORDER or I hope they BAN you…..stupid show

        • Anne

I was unable to get any toothpaste at my local Kroger because someone cleared the shelf.  I am a single mom, who gets up early to work and has to work late.  So when I get to Kroger everything is gone because of people buying 25, I would have like to have gotten one free toothpaste.

        • Leah

          wow…thats rough.

        • Seriously!

Seriously….can you use up 25 tubes of toothpaste within a 6 week period until it goes on sale/free again?  That is the reason they have had to make the rules.  I never get more than 3 or 4 of an item…..but now, I’m only allowed 2……thanks to you.  I’m not angry, just stating the facts.

        • Gmcouponer

Did anyone bother to ask if they called in the order for the toothpaste? Or did anyone ask if they donate this amount to the missions? I understand that alot of people are having a very hard time with this new policy and I am very sorry you have been miss treated by the cashiers. but please every one we must keep our humanity about us. This does nothing but make up more upset about the situations. I am sorry if the manager and the cashier was mean to you Jessdmny.
I am sorry that all of you have had a rough time, but please be kind this is a season of great stress with 2 big holidays back to back and money is so scarce.
I am not judging but please try to be civil…..

          • Lillian

ya, I said I didn’t CARE if they were donating… I donate and don’t have to buy 25 at once. IF I felt I needed to buy 25 at once for my local food bank, I would CERTAINLY strike an agreement DIRECTLY with the STORE MGR….NOT the GROCERY MGR or the FRONT END MGR, but the STORE MGR. very basic stuff here

        • CYR

i think you didn’t do anything wrong unless kroger wants to put a limit to the number of transactions in their policy.
I think if the coupon states per transaction and you do multiples then you are doing the right thing and its crazy for a store to prefer that they pay the cashier but not let that cashier ring you up so the store can make more money since they ARE getting reimbursed…
          doesn’t make sense to me!

      • Julie

Sorry to hear your local Kroger is treating you so horrible. Here in Springfield,Mo the Kroger/Dillons is very flexible with their coupon policy.I have never been limited.Guess it also helps that a Hyvee opened up a few weeks ago across the street.

    • Jessdmny

Kroger is going to hurt for this new policy. With both my husband and I unemployed and a brand new baby at home, we have no choice but to coupon. My husband spends all day every day trying to find work and I stay at home with my coupon binder and sales papers trying to make ends meet. Luckily enough my Publix in Macon, Ga just started doubling coupons up to .50 -which is what Kroger has always done around here. I’ll be happy to shop at Publix from now on. Knowing that every dime I spent there stayed out of Kroger’s pocket is enough to keep me happy.

    • Jodi J.

What zip code do I need to use to get the 0.75 e-coupon for Clorox bleach?  It’s definitely not in my list and I need it.  Thanks.

      • Teecee

It came up when I was searching — my zip is 38506

        • Jodi J.

Thanks for the answer, and how funny that you should answer.  15 years ago I lived in zip code 38501, and my mother-in-law now lives in 38506 :-)

In the Krogers in Georgetown, Ky they have never been nicer to me. Even to the point of one of the Mgrs, Tim, greets me if he sees me shopping in the store and offers to open a seperate line so i dont have to wait or get anyone frustrated who does not coupon behind me. I will ALWAYS give them my business…But it is because of the people not the store..The employees who work there are the reason I keep going back. Keep up the good work…

      • KriK

Hey Neighbor ;) I’m in Richmond KY and I love shopping at Kroger. They are very coupon friendly and never have any problems using coupons. Keeping my fingers crossed they don’t change the coupon policy.

    • Wethedeans

Ok, so I went yesterday to my forest, va kroger, had the ICBINB coupons for a dollar off each, and the coupon for buy 2, get free bread, and they would not accept the free bread, stating I had already used coupons for the butter. Anyone else get by with it? It didn’t seem unreasonable, 3 coupons, 3 items. Also now they have a limit of 5 like coupons, although they did not, thankfully limit number of Internet coupons. I just had her put my other 5 like coupons on a new transaction, which the people I was holding up in the line thought I was a criminal. (they were not using coupons). Too many rules to remember!

      • Cowgirl139

Our Kroger (Southern, OH) limits us to 5 “like” coupons. Meaning that I cannot get 5 Crest toothpastes & then also get 5 Colgates. I was under the impression that it was “like” items, per manufactorer. Guess not! They said toothpaste, was toothpaste, period! They also only allow us 2 internet printed coupons towards our total order per day. Some cashiers watch to make sure you’re not coming back in for a second shopping trip as well. Higher value coupons, that will not double, I choose to take to Walmart. Our Walmart unfortunately, isn’t one of the pilot stores that are experimenting with doubling, but they still price match. I used two $1/1 ICBINB + the free bread coupon & they price matched mine to Kroger’s for $1.79 each & I got free bread also. Kroger should really clean up their act & realize that alot of us aren’t there to clear shelves & get everything in our carts for free. Most of us coupon because we work hard to feed our families while the cost of living is on the rise & my hourly wages are not!

        • Jen

Our Kroger does about the same thing.  Only 2 internet printed coupons per product. So If you have 5 crest toothpaste you can use 2 internet printed coupons, and 3 newspaper coupons, you can still use more internet printed as long as it is not a “like” item.  This is Covington, GA.

        • Wethedeans

What’s it to them if go out and come back in to do 5 more? Golly gee whillikers!

        • bumblesmommy

well, if “toothpaste is toothpaste” i guess you can use any brand coupon for any brand toothpaste then! =)   or anything else for that matter.

      • Leah

i had problems somewhat the same thing. I got four butters, and two breads. So i was gonna use 2 of the 1.50 off 2 icbinb. and then 2 free breads coupons. the girl said i had to have four butters to use both of those coupons. I said but i do have four butters, so i should be able to use both the 1.50/2 coupons. I got frustrated and left with 2 butters and one bread. Whatever! Im not gonna argue over bread and butter!!!

      • vs1999

Here in Roanoke, Kroger has gotten real bad.  I get treated like I am presenting food stamps instead of coupons.  The cashiers are just down right nasty.  I wish Harris Teeter would come to this area.

      • SuzyQ76

I had the same problem near Nashville:( It was my second transaction in order to use the printed coupons because they only allow 3 printed coupons per transaction. I only had 2 butters and one loaf of Bunny Bread, with a coupon. The register was not taking the coupon, the young cashier looked over the coupon and said I could only use one or the other. To use both I would have to buy 4 butter and get one free loaf of bread. I couldn’t take it off because it was part of my mega 10 items. I was frustrated but the young cashier was very pleasant about the situation. In the whole picture the butter was still a good price and I got a free loaf of bread. My family was happy to have “good” bread as they call it instead of store brand bread that is stale in a couple of days.

        • Suzyq76

During these tough economic times its really isn’t very nice to make comments about people using food stamps. I am very fortunate my husband has a good job but millions of Americans are not so lucky and they depend on this to feed their families. I am not typically a fan of government welfare programs, I think they are abused by too many, but in these times this is one that is important. I am not trying to be nasty it’s just that many of the people depending on this are themselves embarrassed to have to apply for government assitance to begin with. But like I said when you lose your job and have children to feed to do what you have to do. I think it is great when I see people using food stamps also using coupons. They are getting that much more food for the amount they get. Helps  them have money to buy other household goods beings in many cases the amount they get isn’t really enough to feed there family to begin with.

Have a blessed day everyone and happy couponing:)

          • CYR

I can’t figure out exactly what comment you were referring to, but if it was the “I get treated like I am presenting food stamps instead of coupons” comment, I don’t think they were putting down food stamp users.  I think that they were saying that people have a tendency to look at those who use food stamps in a negative way.. ..and as you stated yourself, “I am not typically a fan of government welfare programs.  I think they are abused by too many” you can easily see that there is a social stigma about using food stamps (eventhough you dont have a problem with this particular program, many do because they still think ppl are abusing this program… and truthfully a lot of ppl still are and I know some ppl personally who are abusing it so I can say that it does happen)… anyhoo. just saying I don’t think that the comment was about their opinion of ppl who use food stamps, but that society in general looks down on those ppl and has a tendency to treat poorly and that’s what they were saying… It wasn’t meant as a personal attack on food stamp users…

      • Kelly V.

I had the exact same experience.   The guy kept saying “But you already used 2 coupons on the butter. You can’t use another one.”  I kept explaining that the third was for free bread IF you bought 2 butters.  He couldn’t wrap his brain around it.  He finally just keyed in $2 to get rid of me most likely.  I was okay if they couldn’t take a printed “free” coupon, I didn’t really expect them to but I knew I was using the coupon correctly. They wouldn’t let me use the free bag of Community Coffee coupon either.  They said they wouldn’t get reimbursed but the address was clearly stated on the coupon.  Oh well, sometimes it’s just not worth arguing over.

    • Pork N. Beans

Limit 5 coupons or 5 of the same item??????????My Krogers was out of milk again THIS IS WAR !! I will just go through the line over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over!! I AM NOT A SHELF CLEANER just enough till the next coupon comes out !! BUT KROGER SHELVES ARE ALWAYS EMPTY AND OUT OF BASIC ITEMS !! I will complain and take pics of bare shelves over and over and over and over over and over and over and over over and over and over and over THIS IS WAR!! the PORK&BEANS NATION has spoken !!!!

I went to Kroger today and when I checked out, the cashier told me they had a new coupon policy, but couldn’t find it anywhere to show me.  It is not posted anywhere in the store.  Finally, another cashier presented it and told me it was also available on their website.  I haven’t looked yet.  They would not give me a copy of the policy.  It makes no sense.  I understand limiting to 5 like “paper” coupons as it says, but it limits to 2 internet printed coupons from the same manufacturer.  So if I want to buy Lucky charms and Cheerios for the milk deal, per the policy I can only use 2 coupons (one for each) even though I have 2 cheerios and 2 lucky charms coupons.  Same thing with Pillsbury cookies, piecrusts, biscuits.  Kroger is shooting themselves in the foot.  And then the front end manager had the nerve to tell me that Publix was only allowing color printed coupons.  I very nicely told her she was mistaken, because I had just left Publix and most all of my coupons are in black and white.  People copying coupons is what is causing the issues.  Both stores (Publix and Kroger) have told me that is a real problem.  They should be looking at the pin numbers and security codes to ensure they aren’t copied, not penalizing everyone.  Thank Extreme Couponing folks.

        • CYR

its weird though about the “color” thing because you can make “color” copies so I don’t get what they think only taking “color” coupons would accomplish except making the wallets fatter for ink companies ???

I read on one blog about wal mart not wanting to accept a coupon because it was pink!!!

She said the cashier said “I’ve never seen a pink coupon before” *implying that she thought it was a fraudulent coupon* and the customer replied, “Its just a regular coupon printed on pink paper”

          I mean… seriously???

      • Seeallmycoupons

Problem is…They don’t care..They never have…I took pictures of the dairy section infested with dead flies!!!…like literally a hundred or so of them….called twice and my answer was..well you going to have flies when you have dairy…Ummm I dont remember EVER seeing a dead fly in the Publix dairy section…pluss can anyone tell me why Kroger pockets the overage on item price and coupon..?????

        • june

you should have called the board of health! if you still have the pic, i would call today. just to give them a heads up how the store runs so they can make a few unexpected visits on the store.

      • Peg938

Really? I hope that you’re not serious. We all want/need to save money when we can, but if it’s that upsetting to you, then maybe you can find another ‘outlet’ for your energy besides couponing.

    • zoeyjane

so just curious about this but at my kroger they are adverstising bic disposable razors for b1g1 and i have coupons for b1g1 . they are  6.22 a peice but they ring up for 3.11 (@half price ) totaling 6.22 which technically b1g1 so whjen i did this last night and used my b1g1 cpns she marked the free price on   my cpn as 3.11 off not 6.22 which was the price of one. so im confused shouldnt both of the razors have been totally free..??

      • pnutsmommy

not when grocers do b1g1 (different from publixflorida), they are half price, so you will get 2 for 1/2 the price of 1. Not 2 totally free.

thats why a lot of drug stores dont do b1g1, cause there you would get both free

      • Ramseycrew

I believe that most places don’t let you use a b1g1 on a b1g1 sale. Though Krogers b1g1 items ring up 1/2 price which lets you take advantage of only having to buy 1 and get a deal if you so choose. In the case where a store does this then usually they let you use the b1g1 coupon but it takes off the price that you are being asked to pay for one. Krogers b1g1 sale aren’t really b1g1 they are really half price sales. Which I think is better because sometimes you don’t want 2 of something or don’t have room for it or what ever it just gives you the choice. So I figure 3.11 for 2 is better than not allowing the coupon. Although free is always best.
I have seen some krogers are still giving trouble with even using the b1g1 coupons in this instance. I think that is just a store by store problem just like all the other issues. Hope this helps,

    • jennaj81

I just wanted to thank everyone here for their comments. I have not shopped at Kroger in about 8 months after a horrible experience. I had been toying with the idea of trying again, but after reading all of the previous comments have decided “ABSOLUTELY NOT”!!! Thank you for saving me from the stress, headache, and irritation. I’ll just stick with Publix, they are awesome to couponers and appreciate our business!

      • Hilda007

I have had several bad encounters with Kroger in the Macon/Warner Robins area.  I go into the WR one now after 11 pm – there is only one U-Scan attendant and he is nice – patient with the coupons too.  I just learned to avoid the rude ones.  It has taken awhile, the management doesn’t care if the associates are rude…  they do have good prices on some things.  For customer service it is Publix , hands down!

        • ericswifeowensmom

we’ve had trouble with rude cashiers and customer service employees at our local Kroger. We called to inform the manager about a few bad encounters. He said he was aware of the problems but they can’t do much because they are Union.

      • Pjbamerica

I was at Publix the other night, the cashier read every single coupon I used, very rude.  I wish they would take that show off the air.  I have also noticed the coupons that come out in the papers aren’t as good either lately.

        • Kikercasey

I don’t think it is rude of them to read coupons. They should do it, it is their job. I know I have accidentally used a coupon for the wrong type of product and the cashier caught it and gave it back. I didn’t mind because the store might not get reimbursed if the correct item is not purchased. Then they lose money. That is the main problem with this extreme couponing. People knowing use coupons fraudulently. They use a high value coupon that is specific to a specific item to buy a less expensive item from the same company. That is how they get stuff for free and get money back on the total bill. It is wrong and the stores are putting a stop to it. I am not implying that you were doing that. Just saying that is why she read the coupons.

          • Lillian

FYI, the only way the store wouldn’t get reimbursed for a coupon used and a different item bought is if nobody ever buys that item without a coupon for a couple of months. and that’s only if the coupon beeps and the cashier pushes it thru.

        • Anonymous

I wish they would read the coupons everywhere all the time.  Maybe it would stop some of the fraud and allow us to enjoy couponing a while longer.  It is only a matter of time until everyone is enforcing stricter rules, like Kroger just started.

    • vstump

I don’t see an ad for the free milk in my Sunday Kroger ad. There is an ad for save $3.00 when you buy for participating items though. Am I missing something?

      • Anonymous

Some states have dairy laws that prohibit the free milk.  It is the same difference.  Milk is $3.  I think I would have rather had the $3 than the milk.

        • Anonymous

Me too–since we’re leaving early next week for the holidays, I don’t see us being able to finish a whole gallon between my Saturday shopping trip and when we go. Any other time it would be a great deal for my family!

          • Wethedeans

You can freeze anything but lettuce and jello. That includes milk!

      • Jcwiakala_44

No that’s our region. Jenny didn’t list it.

      • Wethedeans

There was a blinkie at the cereals for the coupon. Buy 3 cereals of a certain kind, get free gallon of milk. Great expiration date in January, too. I got a few of the coupons. I’m too lazy to get the coupon out of the car to be more specific. But today kroger rocks. 8 boxes of honey nut cheerios for .75cents each!

        • Wethedeans

I think I get it now. Our kroger ad is to buy certain cereals 4 for 10.00 and get 3 dollars off instantly. Not the milk thing. My blink coupon is to buy another type of cereal, 3 boxes, and get a gallon of milk. But I did get a 2 dollar catalina if I buy 5 cereals of the blinkie coupon type and get the milk. Worth doing this week I think. I’m in Lynchburg, va

          • LynchburgBeth

I’m in Lynchburg too and have a terrible time with the Boonsboro Kroger. They are soooo mean. I’ve found the best one is in Forest- what about you as far as coupon acceptance goes?

      • Couponjulie201

Yep, my online ad is for the $3 off 4 boxes of cereal or other participating product also. I’m in Knoxville.

      • Purplewhit

I’ve been told that in TN we’ll never get the free milk. Always something else.

        • Cyndi

I live in Knoxville.  I had talked to the manager in the past when I had coupon for milk.  He told me that in our area, the dairy farmers have some kind of right (law?) that they make so much money off of milk (don’t know what the exact amount is), so they could only take that coupon I had if the final price was above a certain amount.  They were very nice about it and I have a feeling they took my coupon anyway, but that is why we can’t get free milk.  So it is not Kroger’s fault – it is out of their control.

          • Dee

That is true!!  I couldnt believe it but it is very true.   No problem for me since we are buying more almond milk anyway.  I cant believe my kids love almond milk in their cereal!  I havent found the courage to try it yet.  Although when I think about it, it sounds more appetizing than drinking a cows body fluid lol!

    • Kittykat_1502000

Did anyone notice if the Pillsbury Toaster Strudel is participating in the buy 4, and get $3 off promotion?

      • Brit_5582

        Yes they are

    • Yearofthecat1974

today when I went on my weekly Kroger run, I got an earful from the cashier. Kroger Acworth has a new coupon policy????

      • sunshine

I shop Kroger on 41 in Acworth.  What was the new policy?   Just a few weeks ago they went to five like coupons and only two internets.  Now what?

        • Oh, dear. I hope that doesn’t invade the perimeter. We shop at the Brookhaven Kroger and I haven’t gotten any lip yet. Only sighs and eye rolls, which makes me want to use even more coupons in retaliation.

        • Barbe

I shop at the one on 41 in Acworth too. It’s the best Kroger around, IMO. Is the new policy only 5 like coupons & 2 internet printables?

          • sunshine

Yes, Five like coupons and two (total) internet printables.  I do not  mind the five like Qs since I rarely by that many of anything.  But the two internets means you cannot have more than any two.  So not even three for three different products.   They also  said no one could do multiple transactions.   These 5 and 2 limits were per day.  I shop a couple of times a week so I probably will not be much effected but still seems pretty strict.

      • Staci_marie

Which Kroger/Acworth? I shop at the Mars Hill Rd store.  Have never had any coupon trouble, but I also don’t use large #s of multiples.

    • Cherry

***** WARNING ******* – my software indicates that the Chobani link is infected with an explotation virus.

I would avoid this link at all cost! It isn’t worth getting a 30 cent coupon and infecting your computer.

I have protection to keep from being infected – you may not have strong enough virus protection.

The horror stories I read!!!!!!  I guess I am lucky.  My krogers has no problem.  The managers just helped me use coupons for a donation I was doing.  They actually loaded my cart for me took it to the cashier and told her how to ring for me to be free.  Then complimented me for being so patient with them.  I kept thanking them.    Then I took the items to the charity and they were so excited…. Then ran into the pastor who runs it and he was looking for a person I lnew to get some more donations…..Gave him the number to reach him…..Then ran into a person who needed help and I sent them to the charity.  Long story short.  Being nice, asking for a blessing on my gift, passing the blessing, this was the best Saturday, I could ask for……Thanks Jenny for all you do!!!  I am thankful to couponing.

    • Tony

Don’t read anything below this unless you want to listen to a bunch of whining!  Kroger is a business and though you (myself included) may be struggling…they may be, too.  it is their choice to change policies if it’s not working for their bottomline.  Nobody needs 25 tubes of toothpaste at one time.  This will help those of us who only want 1-4 items of something.  Thank you kroger.  i support you.

      • Carla

Yeah I ran into two items that had been cleared from a couponer lucky for me I found them hidden in another area only a few left of course. My Korger is nice and wanted to help us find anything we needed. Of course I am not a pro yet so I only use about 8-15 coupons each time.

    • xs0407

I am super disappointed with Kroger Richmond Hill. I went last nite to take advantage of the Mega Sale before it ended and cashier told me they had change the policy and they were only taking 2 alike coupons from now on. They told me the policy had changed completely starting yesterday. I asked them to give me a copy of the new policy, but they told me, they do not have a copy yet. As I was waiting for the manager the head cashier kept making comments about us “couponers” trying to get groceries for free. I explained to her that I always followed the rules of each store and that was why I wanted a copy of their policy. She was very rude and kept saying she cant believe how we want to get free stuff, just because of the tv show.

      • Macon,GA

One of my Kroger stores in Macon, GA told me they were allowed to only accept two of the same IP coupons.  It meant she had to void off some of my items, but as she was doing it she was telling me about how the “copied” coupons were killing them.  She was apologizing, but I told her that I certainly didn’t want her to do something that was against their policy.  You know, I’m just not going to argue over coupons…..

        • xs0407

I know, that’s what’s  so disappointing. I explain to her I understood their side and thats why I wanted their new rules. But she just kept going. I just hate when they treat me as if I was stealing from them. I told her I dont care what the policy is, I just want to know what it is.

          • Macon,GA

I know…it can be very frustrating when they change the rules….and we don’t find out until we’re in line with a buggy full of groceries!  It would be so nice if….when stores had changes in their coupon policies….they’d just put a sign on the door saying they had a new coupon policy and that we could pick up a copy at customer service.  I think most couponers are like us…truly want to follow all the rules…we just need to KNOW what they are!!  :0)

      • bumblesmommy

hey,  i am near richmond hill… did they happen to mention if all the surrounding krogers were doing this? i go to the rincon one on occassion. I never buy 10 of an item, or even close.. just 3 or 4.. so i am hoping this isnt all stores.. as i wont be shopping at kroger anymore.. publix is much friendlier with coupons (in my opinion and experience)

        • xs0407

i didn’t really ask about the other Kroger stores, so I m not sure.

        • Carla

my kroger only makes you buy 10 items if you do not have a kroger card

      • Kdoverby

I think the show on t.v. has really given couponers a bad name and it has caused some backlash on those using the couponing wisely within the stores.

        • Anonymous

          yes it has …….

        • CTaylor

Yep!  I wish everyone would quit watching it!  It’s just trash.  If everyone quit watching it – they would cancel it.  I think it would help a lot of things. =)

        • Blueyes13

I totally agree! I have been doing this for several years now. Use to our Kroger would allow you to stack digital coupons with Manu, and I said as soon as that show came out they were going to start changing because of that show, and sure enough it wasn’t a month or so later they ended that. And it seems that everytime I go back they have changed something else. Now rumor has it our store is going to do away with double coupons, and then that will lead to no coupons at all im sure. It’s a crying shame for those of us who are doing and have been doing it for years to save money for our families, not to be hoarders!

      • Pjbamerica

I was at Kroger in Villa Rica GA the other nite, wanted to buy 10 Febreeze Sprays, they told me I could only use 5 coupons.  They push the buy 10, I know you can mix and match, but I wanted 10 bottles.  They act as though its coming out of their pocket.
That show is giving couponers a bad name and allot of the newer couponers are not helping.  Publix was a pain the other night also.

in v a its 5 per item per day started nov 1 to cut back on shelve cleaners sorry

      • Lynn22

Do you know the size of the boxes of cereal?  Are they small?

    • Caroline

Went to Kroger in Irmo, SC Saturday for Mega sale.  They told me I can only use one prinable coupon per item.  I was buying 8 boxes Annie’s mac & cheese and was only able to use one of my five printable coupons.  They said it was their new policy for one printable copon or five “regualar” coupons per item.

    • Elle

Is the covergirl makeup included in the P&G?  There was an ad in my insert that seemed to indicate it was – anyone know for sure?

    • Rebecca

The Carolina Pride coupon for the cocktail smokies is a do not double.  So the actual cost is $2.00

      • Vickinewman

it depends on the register sometimes it automatically doubles.

      • Godsprincess91

did your coupon barcode start with a 5? If it did, it should have doubled!

Pom Wonderful Pomegranates were not at my Kroger (outside ATL).  They came from another company.  Publix are Pom Wonderful Pomegranates and they are 2/$4 as well.  I used the coupons there.  It’s my husbands all time favorite fruit.

    • Anonymous

Pom Wonderful pomegranates were only 3 for $5 at my Cary, NC Kroger so I picked up a couple for 67 cents each.

in v a my kroger has scented warmers for 10.00 wm they are 15.00 and scented candle blocks are 1.97 very nice at wm the are 2.00 rather get at kroger it helps on gas have got in a lot of c h ristmas items  now the cashier said alot of it is ringing up cheaper than marked so ask please  happy shopping

    • Okay……this post doesn’t seem to line up with my ad.  We have a $3 off wyb 4 participating items…Nature Valley granola bars, cereals, etc.

      • Ejroberts86

My ad (Louisville) is also doing $3 wyb 4 items, not free milk.  However, here the price of milk is $2.99 so it’s virtually the same.

    • Jhellek

I was really surprised that Jenny didn’t list the differences in ads based on regions.    As another person stated, in the Louisville area if you buy 4 of the participating GM items, you get $3 off, not free milk…which personally I’d rather get the $3 off.  Just like a mega event, the tags on the items had the price listed after the instant savings, which I loved.  You can’t beat $1.75 (before coupons) for those items!  I love Kroger!

WHO”S BEHIND KROGERS NEW COUPON POLICY ??!! UFCW UNIONS  That’s right your friendly cashiers are plotting with their Union Reps to get rid of couponers in Krogers for good!! Many stores have labor contracts with Kroger that FORBID paper coupons!! KROGER will be going to all electronic coupon system cutting out the middle men like Smart Source and Redplum In return Krogers can get rid of the employees that process the coupons (mostly non-union clerical) and the store employee get a easier gig not having to deal with EVIL COUPON SAVERS !! THANK YOU TLC’S EXTREME COUPONING AND Krogers ,who appeared in 14 out of 18 shows, for creating this monster!!!

      • Lillian

i hate unions, specifically the kroger one, but the manu’s won’t go for this

      • Dee

Where did you get this information?

        • Pork and Beans got most of that information from me – I did the research on the number of shows Kroger took part filming the episodes so far the CORRECT number is 15 of the 19 shows Kroger heavily promoted and was the star of TLC Extreme Couponing. It appears Kroger may be on next weeks show too with Joni?? Only one union in CA has a contract that forbids coupons to prevent the workers from excess toil in their cashiering efforts and also prevent couponing customers from visiting their stores. BRINGBACKDOUBLES dot com and on facebook for more details.

    • Gmcouponer

Well I was in Ky this weekend and decided to visit the local Kroger to see what they do about the coupon policy. After talking with them and re-educating myself about my local Kroger, here is all I have learned. Each store is responsible for setting there own coupon policy. So my Kroger will be different form the one in Ky., and it was. But the managers said they are responsible for setting the coupon policy in their store. So for those of you who are being hit hard, you must have a lot of couponers in the area.
They told me they are trying to slow down the couponers from clearing off the shelves. I asked why do you not place a paper up so that the people who need to purchase large amounts can order their stuff, like on TV. Of course the response was if they see it on TV they know to come and ask up. But anyway the reason it is so very different everywhere is, the stores set up their own coupon limits…..
That is what I was told anyway…..

      • Hildawins

The only thing that changed in Central Georgia was a limit of 5 items with coupons.  That is not a bad deal.  Unload and come back if you have to shop for a large group like a church social!

    • Sherryl

My mom said she saw a Kroger commercial that they have Carolina turkeys for .59 lb, has anyone seen this in the store? We are in the Atlanta area.

      • Cyndi

        Hi Sherryl,
I live in Knoxville and got an ad which says they are 79 cents per pound (for turkeys 12 lbs and up), but could be cheaper in your area!

        • Hildawins

There are three different labeled turkeys, each a different price.

      • Elissa

They are .59 a pound here up in Jefferson too..

      • Hildawins

yes, my 12.9 lb turkey cost me $7 and some change.  Sweet – I think all turkeys are the same, it is how you prepare them.  I use a Ronco Rotisserie (yep I do) and I inject it with spices, pesto, and butter…. it always comes out fantastic.  I wish I had freezer space for several more.  I am waiting until after the holiday to scoop more!

    • Ky’s mom 2

Jenny, despite those who like to complain about everything, I want to say thank you for all of your hard work.

@Those of you who are constantly complaining about ads not matching-up, I attribute this to you being new to this site. Those of you who have frequented this site should know by now that prices and ads may vary by region.

Otherwise, a nice “Thank you” goes so much further.

      • DEE

Well said!!  Glad someone finally said something!  I wish some people would be more positive.  This is FREE  and very helpful despite mistakes.  I guess those who do NOTHING, never make mistakes and have plenty of time for complaining.  Thanks Jenny!  Your hard work saves me time and money.  I  appreciate you and recommend your site almost daily!

(Savannah GA Mall Blvd Location) Like someone else mentioned, I also noticed the Schick Razors on sale for B1G1 free and remembered I had a coupon for B1G1 as well. I thought to myself “Sweet, I can get 2 packs for free” because I know at Publix and other stores, if something is B1G1 free, and you have a coupon for b1g1 free, both will be free. Well, the items rang up 1/2 price each ($2.99), instead of one normal price, one free. I asked the cashier, I said “But they will still both be FREE right?” She said “Nooo, you will just get them both for $2.99.” I said “well, at other stores if you have a B1G1, and a coupon for B1G1, the are both free.” Well, in a smart snooty attitude voice, she said “Well, we are NOT most stores!!” and she is one of the managers!

      • Lillian

        my publix doesn’t do that

      • At our local publix stores it has always been that Buy One Get One meant the item is half price – so if you buy two $5 items on sale bogo, you pay $2.50 for each. So yes, if I used a bogo coupon I would pay $2.50 for both items, not get both free. They have always had that policy around here! You are still saving a good amount!

        • Hildawins

Not in Florida, as my son pointed out after moving there with my coupon savvy knowledge!

      • CYR

since your BOGO is a 1/2 price bogo and not a true BOGO (where one rings up full price and the other at zero) then essentially it would work like:

        Razors $3.00
razors per pack on 1/2 price BOGO sale = 1.50 each
buy 2 @ 1.50 minus 1.50 for the FREE pack from the BOGO coupon.
@e8cebc84f27bb66255d7380b3dc10229:disqus so you get 2 packs for 1.50

        Hope this helps.

If you were in an area with a TRUE bogo then yes they would both be free.  One free from the store sale and the “Buy” one free from the coupon.
(that’s why when you do deals at drug stores they work this way because drug stores do TRUE bogo where one rings up full price and one rings up zero)

        • CYR

reread that post and realized that the razors were 3 after the bogo savings
          so that means:
          Razors 6.00
razors per pack after bogo sale = 3.00 each
buy 2 @ 3.00 minus 3.00 for the FREE pack for the bogo coupon
@e8cebc84f27bb66255d7380b3dc10229:disqus so (why does it keep putting “rebecca” there? UGH)
you get 2 packs for 3 dollars.
          not bad cause that’s a 75% savings.
12 dollrs worth of razors for 3.

    • Mrsdchastain

The Pampers.coupon I have from 10/30 is a Target store coupon.

    • Christine

That doesn’t even make sense. Why would they print Buy 1 Get 1 Free coupon and not just hand you two free….that is what buy 1 (2.99) get one free ( 0 ) means…ergo…you get two for the price of one….ergo you pay for one and get the other one free….basically you pay 1.50 per…etc….
What you say would only make sense, if you have a coupon stating…have coupon and get two free.

Finally figured out how to make Catalinas work for me! Just bought 3 NV cereal bars, 3 boxes cereal, 2 pks cookies, 4 boxes of Nut-Thins and 4 nestle choc pouches all for 12.00 with a 4.00 OYNO cat! Pretty good!

I went to Kroger this evening. Did two transactions. I got 5 things of tide 8.99 a piece. used the 2 off kroger ecoupon and 4 tide 2.00 off coupons. got 10 nv breakfast bars, 6 betty crocker gummies, and 1 thing of hostess donuts. I only spent 10.68 but I did have a 44 rx transfer but still 90% savings!!

Our Kroger won’t let us use a Kroger ecoupon and a manufacturing coupon together on the same item.

she had five items.. used one ecoupon and four paper coupons, didn’t stack because you can only use an ecoupon once

I would like to say that I started reading the website maybe one month ago and my goal of course was to help our family financially b/c I work part time right now but will go back ASAP. Now I have a goal of never shopping at Walmart for food. I read and reread and watched of few of Jenny’s videos and I think I just about have it figured out. I am so excited about transitioning to Kroger from WM! I am going to write to Kroger Corporate and my local store manager and thank them for having sales and coupons b/c now they can have 100% of all my grocery business to where WM had all of it for many years.

        I do have a question…
At my Kroger this week instead of the free milk we have buy four GM cereals get save $3.00
I have a catalina coupon for save $1.50 on 3 GM cereals, MC save .50c on honey nut, and a MC save $1.00 on 2 GM cereals

Can I get one box Honey Nut and three Lucky charms and all of the above savings would apply?
I think they would except if the special 3.00 savings and the catalina are both considered Kroger coupons they couldnt be used together, but I dont hink this is the case b/c the $3. savings is a sale.

Carla, you can only use manu coupons that apply to a total of (4) boxes of cereal. Catalinas are considered manu Qs. So…if you used all the Qs you listed, you would have to buy a total of 6 boxes. The $3 off your order is not a coupon however, and you can layer coupons on top of of that special discount, as long as you buy as many boxes as the manu Qs are for. HOpe that helps!

Thank you for taking the time to help me out! :)

        • Hildawins

My Kroger took a Catalina for 5 boxes of cereal plus my coupons for Lucky Charms and Honey Nuts and o’s.  At the check out the milk was scanned and then a $3.00 credit!

Good for you, if we could only close Wal-Mart, then maybe family stores would come back.

Just got a catalina ad at kroger saying 4x fuel points for gift cards are back starting Sun.
11/20 to 12/11. It has a pic of 8 diff cards but says 100’s more to choose from so they all must be included this time. YaY

Had a terrible experience at the Kroger in Springfield, Tennessee.  I had 8 coupons with my order and 5 of them were print at home.  They say the policy is that you can only use 3 print from home coupons per transaction.  I have never heard of this before!  Publix is looking better and better!!!!

That is the store I shop at. It has been like that for about a year now. Sucks but if you are ok doing more than one order its not to bad.
