My Kroger had Huggies “Santa” diapers marked down to $4 in their clearance section.  I don’t know why they decided to get rid of them so early…but keep your eyes peeled!

      • hil

        what location?

      • Planetmalou

I was at Kroger yesterday and they had pampers diapers size 3, 5, and 6 that were marked as managers specials. They were more half off the regular price. Too bad they didn’t the size my son wares.

Happy to see the Schick BOGO sale, hopefully when I pick up my newspapers from my parents’ house tomorrow, we will have the BOGO coupon as well.  Here in the Kroger Delta Region we have true BOGO sales, so 2 packages of razors for the cost of tax!

      • J Medley25

What’s a true BOGO sale mean?

        • Wendy

In some areas, when they have a BOGO sale, the items actually just ring up half-price so you don’t actually have to buy both items to get the sale.  With a true BOGO sale, the first item rings up full-price and the second one rings up free.

      • Karen

        Wendy,
I am new to couponing and left a remark last asking how this BOGO thing works on the razors.  You seem to understand how this works..could you explain to me?  Do I use both the $2 off and the BOGO and if so, how many am I taking to checkout?  4??  I can’t get the math to work out for me.  I’m not getting how they have .49.
        Thanks a million,
        Karen

        • Akingil123

Karen, some krogers have true BOGO sales, where you buy 1 pack of razors for 5.99 get the other pack free. Otherr stores have buy 1 get 1 free sales where its like 50 percent off sale.
Kroger #1- buy 1 pack of razors for 5.99 get 1 free. Some krogers allow a coupons on the free item, others dont. Let’s pretend they do allow a coupon for the free item. You could use two $2 coupons and you get 2 packs of razors for 2 dollars. Some stores allow you to do you buy 1 get 1 free coupons on buy 1 get 1 free sale in which case you would get both items for free.
Kroger #2-with this Kroger each item rings up for 50% off. If u use a BOGO coupon it will take off 2.99. leaving your total at 2.99. you can use a second coupon because its not “a free item”. You then use a $2 off coupon bringing ur total to $1 plus tax….make sense now?

    • Amber1011

Their Kotex maxi pads are $1.99 each (part of the mega deal). I bought 4 packs, used two of the $2/2 coupons, so I got each pack for $1! Then when I checked out, a  catalina printed for $3 off my next order…so I really got 4 packs of pads for $1!!!

    • Danielle

Just an FYI, the Fage coupon ended a while ago.  :(

    • Bethcwarren

My husband just got strawberries there for $1.99! Can’t beat that this time of year!

    • Karen

Can someone please explain to me the BOGO on the Schick razors?  I don’t understand how you get both for 49 cents.  I am brand new to couponing and these kind of offers are complete greek to me. Do you use the BOGO free coupon and the $2 off and if so, how many are you taking to the register?

Schick Razor BOGO =2.99 each; Use B1G1 coupon makes it 2.99 for 2; then use $2 off coupon makes it .99 for 2 or ~.49 each. GOT IT Karen?

      • Karen

Yes and no to be honest.  haha.  I wish I had done that yesterday when I bought the Axe body wash.  ):
So if I’m understanding correctly, I take both coupons($2 off and BOGO) and will take 4 packs of razors to register(??) and get it for 99 cents??  Is that right..4 packs to the register?

        • Damahurin

Take 2 packs to the register.

        • Karen

Oh wait I get it now.  2 pks of razors that are discounted to 2.99 due to both BOGO sales, then the $2 off makes it 99 cents for 2(.49 for one).
Thanks for the explanation!! Took me a minute to figure this one out!

    • Kris

Why are they only taking 2.99 off? They should be taking the whole 5.99 off because they are not 2.99 each. They are 5.99 each but they are giving you one for free. Yes the free one makes it 2.99 each but that is not the actual price. Our BOGO coupon should take 5.99 off making it FREE. Can someone explain to me why this is not the case?

      • Annachis07

When Kroger has a B1G1 sale, the two items ring up at half price each so when you use a B1G1 coupon, you get one of those half priced items for free.  When a pharmacy like CVS has a B1G1 sale the items actually ring up as one full priced and one free so if you used a B1G1 coupon there you would get them both free. HTH.  Jenny actually has a video up about this somewhere on the site.

        • kris

          ok thank you

    • kris

By saying that they are 2.99 each is saying that one of them is not acuallly free.

    • Bbenton76

can someone please tell me the rules of bogo? I get it about using 2 coupons but how can you use a b1g1 coupon AND a 2.00 off q??? I want to have something to back this up because I know how my store is. They will definitely give me a hard time. Thanks

      • Anonymous

By Kroger policy, you can only use one MQ per item.  A B1G1 coupon is a coupon on your 2 items, so the only way you can use a second MQ (for $2 in this case) is if you buy a third item.  If one of the coupons is a store coupon, you can use both, however.

        • kris

That is not true. The BOGO coupon is for the FREE item which means you are actually buying one. You can then use the 2.00 coupon on the one you buy-using one coupon on each item

      • Anonymous

But reading through this site, other people are able to use both coupons at their store. I think it just depends on your Kroger, I know that mine does not allow it.

      • Rrbarr

        Hi Bbenton76!

It depends on how the coupon is coded.  Usually there is a 12 digit bar code with one digit to the far left, then two sets of five digits in
the middle, then a single digit out to the far right. Look at the two
digits just prior to the last digit that hangs out to the far right
side. If that number is a 14 the BOGO coupon attaches to both products
and you will not be able to use another Q on the other item. If that number
is anything other than a 14, it attaches only to one item and you can
stack another Q on the other item.

I explain more fully about BOGOs on my website couponingwonderland dot webs dot com.  HTH!

    • mommaofcrazypants

I get the bogo rules but have another question that’s a little similar. Our Kroger is having the mega event again and Air Wick candles are on sale for $3.99 each. There were q’s this week that came out for $3/off two and a separate q for Air Wick if you buy 2, get one free. If I bought two, used the first $3/off two q, could I still use the second q in conjunction to get a third candle? Seems like this works at some stores, just not sure about Kroger

      • The Lunch Lady

Techinically you should be able to because the first q applies to the first 2 and the 2nd q replies to the 3rd one….Just depends on what store you go to.

        • mommaofcrazypants

Thanks, it works out so they’d be $1.67 ea…thought they would be nice in gift baskets!

      • Majohnson

You can definitely do this as my sister in law and I both bought candles with them.

    • Pjbamerica

Went to Kroger this evening, they had the Febreeze on sale buy 10 price is $1.99 each.  They would only let me use 5 coupons $1/1.  They claimed this was there new policy.   They push you to buy 10, and I know you can mix and match the 10 items.  But it is a stupid rule.  I am going to look up there policy and see if this is true.  If anyone has had this same experience, I would love to hear your input.

    • Rrbarr

Kroger in Griffin Ga had tons of stuff in their clearance boxes located bt the pharmacy and the deli (the hallway that leads to the staff break room).  I wish I could remember prices, but items included

      boxes of Tide
bags of Mahatma basmati and jasmine rice
      Ronzoni pasta
      Hefty trash bags, etc.

All priced about half or more than the normal price.
