Did you find anything else at your store?

    • Is this the regular price for the E.P.T?

    • MarySC

Rite Aid had all their summer stuff on clearance at 90% off. I got 2 skimboards (regularly $30) and several beach toy sets for less than $10!!! The supply was pretty limited of course… all was 75% off until yesterday morning.

    • maureen

Sally Hansen products are on sale for 40% off plus buy 2 items and get a $3 coupon off your next sally hansen purchase or buy 3 and get $5 coupon. Use with Sally Hansen .50c coupon and some items are free or money makers.

    • April

The Tag deal does not work at RiteAid unless you have a cashier who is willing to put the full price one, not the half price one as the “Free” item. The cashier at my RiteAid would only take the half price Tag as the free item and $2 off the full price Tag. AT $4.99 regular price, that still has you paying $2.99+tax. I was hoping to get these super cheap as they make great presents, but was disappointed as usual at RiteAid.

      • Becky

I have a great cashier (just have to catch her shift) and she LOVES watching me come in and save money…and she takes notes on what I’m doing. She gave me the $4.99 off because she said the $2.50 was already the 1/2 price one…so I got the $2 coupons on that one, too! All in all, I bought four Tag sprays (which my teenage son LOVES!!) and paid $.98 + tax…not bad! You are so right, though, a willing cashier is worth everything.

    • Taylor

Clean & Clear products are listed for 2/$9 so use the $3 off Rite Aid coupon with the $2 off printable and it’s FREE plus overage!

    • Courtney

Also at Rite-Aid, they have Reese’s pb cubs B1G1…use with the B1G1 coupon that came out a few weeks back, and you have yourself some free Reese’s cups…great stocking stuffers! I just got 6 for free!

    • Bethany

I was at Walgreens last night and overheard someone saying that K-mart is rumored to start doubling coupons up to $2 on 9/27. Has anyone else heard of this? I hate K-mart, but if this is true I will definitely start frequenting my store.

    • Michelle

At Walgreens I bought Arm and Hammer carpet deodorizer for $.82, Pledge Revitalizing Oil $1.39, Tide Simple Pleasures Vanilla and Lavender $2.29 and Tide Total Care Cool Cotton $2.29. I had coupons for everything but the Arm and Hammer but it was a great buy even without a coupon!

    • Michelle

In regards to post #7 Kmart does several promotions a year where they double coupons up to $2 but it’s only in select stores. You will need to contact your local store to find out if they are participating. The next super doubles event is rumored to be Sept. 27th – Oct. 5th. Hope this helps.

    • Sarah

on the clean and clear deal- both coupons say “manufacturer coupon” even though the rite aid one says good at rite aid only, they are both manu. coups. No way my rite aid will do this deal.

    • Sheryl

      Sarah #10,

The rite aid one is a store coupon – although it does say ‘manufacturer coupon’. A manufacturer coupon can be accepted at any store however this rite aid coupon is a store coupon and will not be accepted at any other store.

    • MW

I went to Walgreens the other day with $3 RR and nothing really that I needed. I wandered around, found the clearance, and left with 2 red wagons (perfect for stuffed animals) a roll of wrapping paper, a bottle of aspirin (my dad can use it) and two bottles of contact solution! I only paid .68 out of pocket! None of it expires until late next year!

    • Kelly

At my Walgreens, Huggies wipes (216 count) are on sale for $4.99. I had a $2 off coupon so I got them for $2.99. Basically it’s like 3 tubs for $1 each! I was so excited. I also got the Bic Soleil razor deal, used the $3 coupon and got the $1 RR so it was like I got them for $0.99. For the wipes and the razors I only paid a little over $5 OOP. I was thrilled.

    • Luana

In the clearance section I found a whole box of seeds that said 75% off.
There were all kinds: cantaloupe, radishes, zucchini, beefsteak tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, sweet basil, onions, chives, etc. When I paid
for them they rang up for .05 each. (original price of .99) There were
also flower plants and other herbs, but for the life of me I can’t figure out why ANYONE would buy seeds for Morning Glories!!! All total I paid less than $1.00. (I made 2 trips)

    • Lisa

Our Walgreens had the ept (clearanced) at $3.29.

    • nc girl

please somebody help me…cannot find the 5/20 coupon anywhere…

    • My Wags did not have the ept singles at all. It looks like that store doesn’t even stock them (checked the clearance and the regular aisles). But they did have plenty of the Carefree Ultra pantiliners, which is a month-long “free after RR” deal. Guess everyone grabbed them the first week and then forgot about them. I’ve been able to pick up one on each of my Walgreen’s runs for the last two weeks.

    • Caren

Just in case someone needs to know, Dollar Tree has pregnancy tests for $1 all the time. Just be prepared, they aren’t the stick kind. You have to use a cup and it comes with a dropper.

    • Adrian
    • Jenny

My wags had the EPT for 3.29. No detergent. Scotch sponges were marked down to 0.62. Thanks for all you do.

    • At Rite Aid got the Rite Aid deal for diapers, wipes, Clean and Clear, Proantinox, etc. Over the past 2 weeks, I have spent $141, and by the time I get my SCR and Fall Savings gift card, I will have spent $6 oop! Thank you Southern Saver (Jenny) for making my life easier and all you do for us! Love, love, love this site!!!!

    • Sorry that last comment I wrote should have read I got $141 worth of stuff for $6 oop!

    • Sarah

could someone please explain to me how this works? i’m so confused…

Clean & Clear products $4.50 ea
-$3 off Clean & Clear Rite Aid Coupon
$2 off any Clean & Clear product printable
(Buy 2, use both coupons make it FREE)

if i buy 2, wouldn’t it make it $9, but i only have $5 of coupons? or can i print those coupons twice and use them for both?

thanks!! i’m just learning about this world of coupons, slowly but surely.

      • jo

I’m very confused by this too… :-/ any help? I’d love some free clean & clear but I don’t understand the deal.

      • LaTasha (NC)

I believe that because the Rite Aid coupon in exclusive to RA and not a manufacturer coupon, you can stack one RA coupon and one man. coupon for each bottle.

        1 bottle Clean and Clear = $4.50 Use 1 RA $3 coupon and 1 man. coupon $2

        HTH

    • meredith

I bought the ept test. It was regular 13.99. They had only one left. That was a great deal.

    • Tara

I was a hog on the E.P.T. tests, since my hubs and I will be trying for baby #2 in December. I got 6 EPT tests for $2.69!!! Can you believe that? My receipt said I saved $82. WOW. I love this site, it is such a blessing!! (I did leave one test on the shelf, so I didn’t clean them out) ;)

    • Anda

If you register with Clean & Clear they will send you coupons via email. I received a coupon for $5 off the blackhead eraser. I do not use the Clean & Clear products or coupons but for those who do they are there! :)

    • Kristy

      Sarah,
I’m with you. I”m just trying to figure Rite Aid out and I can’t figure out how you can get 2 free. I understand 1 plus .50 overage but not 2. Can someone please explain? Thanks so much!

      • Becky

Hey Kristy…My math was slightly off (my apologies…look at the times of my posts…was I really thinking I could add at that time??). Anyway, here’s what I got and how:
        Bought 4 Tag Sprays at B1G1 1/2 off so they were $4.99, $4.99, $2.49 and $2.49.
Used 2 B1G1 coupons which took off both the remaining $4.99’s
Used 2 $2 coupons on the remaining $2.49’s…paid $.98 + tax for all four…not bad considering just one would have been $4.99, so $20 worth of Tag spray for $.98! My cashier had no issues with this at all and congratulated me for working such a great deal.

    • Becky

FYI, Target has Air Wick i-Motion Freshmatic Starter Kits on temporary price cut right now (at least at my Birmingham location). They are normally $13.99…price cut to $5.99 – great time to pull out those $6 coupons from last weeks paper. Also, remember that Bicycle playing cards coupon from a while back? $1/any two packages…I found them on CLEARANCE at Target, Rite Aid and Walgreens! Made them between $.45 and $.85 each…great stocking stuffers. Target has Johnson’s bathtime buddie soap for $.97 and we have those great $1 coupons (makes them FREE) and they have the travel size games (connect four and hungry hippos) for $4.99…with the $4 coupons, they are only $.99 and perfect for stockings also! Check out the travel section for FREE Tide ($1 coupon), Ponds face wipes are FREE with the $1.50 printable coupon and the printable Target coupon for $1 off two Market Pantry cheese products makes 2 of the single cheese snacks FREE. Pair a printable Aquafresh iso-active whitening toothpaste $1 coupon with a Target printable Aquafresh $1 coupon and it is only $1.49! I also snagged eight packs (10 in each) of BIC pens with the Target $1/2 Bic products coupons that I had looming in my binder…they were clearanced in the school supply section for $.25/each. Lots of games are on sale right now so it’s a good time to use those $5 Hasbro coupons and start building your Christmas stash. Sorry this is so long…I had lots to share!

      • monette

Where’d you get coupons for the hungry hippo?

      • Lori

Please, give details on where the q’s u listed were found. I’ve very interested in many items for stocking stuffers as well :)

    • Becky

You guys make me jealous with your Walgreens posts. Mine is terrible. RR’s don’t print half the time and cashiers won’t let you do multiple “rolls”…say the RR’s are meant for “another time.” CVS is much easier to work with.

      • kelli

I totally agree with you. I’m always jealous when I see all of the wonderful Walgreens deals and people taking advantage of them. The 3 times I tried to shop at Walgreens for stuff with RRs, it went horribly.

The first time, they were out of the item that I wanted. They gave me a raincheck (which was just the cashier circling it in the ad and signing her name) and when I finally got back there to get the item, I got it for free, which was great, but it would’ve been a money maker with the coupons that I had.

The second time I tried I bought some shampoo that was free after RRs. I asked if I could do it twice, even the the limit says 1 and the cashier said yes. She even asked if I wanted to use my RRs from the first purchase to pay. I thought that that was great, so I did it. I ended up having to buy a piece of candy because the RR printed out at $4 and the item was $3.99 and then when I paid for it with the RRs, the new ones didn’t print out. She asked her manager about it and he said that it’s because you can’t pay with the RRs for the same item because the system know what you’re doing and that the limit is 1. So he had to refund it so that I could get my other $4 in RRs.

The third time, I had to spend the $8 in RRs. I hate that they’re only good for 2 weeks…. so I went in there on Sunday morning prepared with a few ideas for money makers. I was hoping to start rolling my RRs like I do with my ECBs. Well, they didn’t have anything in stock that I wanted so I ended up blowing the RRs on random stuff.

I also hate that you have to have as many items as you have RRs.
Sometimes I really dislike my CVS but they’re so much easier to work with then Walgreens, at least in my experience.

    • Annamarie

Went back to Rite Aid for the Clean and Clear deal AND the TAG. While I was there, I decided to use my covergirl BOGO coupon and had the $1 one too. They didn’t use the $1 one but kept it. :(
Anyway, it came out to be 41.10 before Q’S and I only had $6.43 OOP
She had to ring me up twice though and in the end they seemed confused about why the register was taking all those stacked coupons. I’m wondering how long this will last…decided to not use another $5 off coupon again for awhile.
Deal of the century though was in Walgreens…
Had another BOGO on the toothbrushes to use so I picked up that and a bottle of sally hansen for my daughter. Paid for that (2.90 OOP and the receipt says I saved $8) and noticed an employee carrying a bag of Starbucks coffee with a clearance tag on it for $2.39. She said there was one more so I finished that transaction, got my $2RR and ran over to grab it…$9.99 bag of coffee used my RR and paid OOP 44cents! :D

    • Becky

Anyone know of a cooperable Wags in the Birmingham area…the one on Hwy 31 & Valleydale is horrible…thank goodness its across the street from a good Rite Aid!

      • marie

I just tried the RR for the first time at Walgreen’s…I bought the Crest then went to take the toothpaste to my car and go back to use it on a couple of other RR items but the store was out of everything we needed…found a bunch of Disney stickers on clearance for 25 cents each and a few other things so that I was very happy with my total and with my service…they did not seem to mind I left and came right back…while I was in the store looking clueless several employees stopped to see if I needed anything…it’s the store in Cahaba Heights…there is a Rite Aid, a Walgreen’s and a CVS all within two blocks of one another. Hope that helps. Oh…there is quite a bit of make up on clearance that may be free or cloase to free if the will take the coupons from past papers.

        • Becky

Thanks, Marie! Will give it a shot! I went to three different ones last night out of sheer frustration and the determination to find one that worked. The one in Alabaster was friendly and helpful, but the computer beeped several times and the cashier was frustrated. The manager quickly came over and fixed things with an apology. That was nice.

    • anne

I got 2 bags of Starbucks 12oz breakfast blend today on clearance at $2.39/bag. Had two $1 cpns from Starbucks booklet earlier this summer to make the deal even sweeter!

    • jennifer

I also picked up the EPT test on clearance for 3.29. I used a 3.00 off coupon so paid .29. A friend of mine used the 5.00 off coupon and didn’t have any beeps. Lucky her it was a money maker. I got the 2 count, it was priced at 11.99 but ran up 3.29. All the other bargins are already gone :(

    • Amy

I have spent $57.23 including tax at Rite Aid in the past month…receiving $41.98 in Single Check Rebates and $25.00 in gift cards…thank you God and you too, Jenny, for all your hard work. You make our life so much easier and affordable!

      • Kim

I just got my single check rebate in the mail…would have put it in the junk pile if I hadn’t looked twice. Is it a check or something that can only be used at Rite Aid. It says ‘Use your check toward a purchase at any Rite Aid Location’. Please help.

        • Lori

          Kim,
Its a check, you can deposit or cash it at ur bank OR use it at Rite Aid like a gift card. Although, i’ve always cashed/deposited mine or I’m not sure about using it in the store.

          • Becky

I used mine in the store just like cash…presented it to pick up prescriptions.

    • Teri

Jenny, I cannot get the Rite Aid Clean and Clear coupon to print. Is that promotion over or am I doing something wrong?

      • Deb – Clemson

You can print this coupon once you’ve watched the Rite-Aid Clean & Clear video. I think there is a link to the video on their main page.

    • Becky

Also, friends, I found some GREAT deals at Target today. The Loreal Ever Pure sets went to 75% on the clearance endcap…$3.98/set and with $2 coupons, I was able to snag four at only $1.98/set…NICE. Also,3-packs of Crystal Light on the clearance endcap in grocery for $.68/each. There were $2/2 in one of the last two weeks papers making them FREE (they’ll adjust the coupon to match the price). Playtex tampons were on the clearnace endcaps for $4.64 (Normally $8) and with $1 Playtex coupons, they were a bargain for my household with three teenage daughters. They were out of Glade candle tins, but still had travel size games (connect four, hungry hippos, etc.) for $4.99…used with your $4 coupons, these make great stocking stuffers or Dirty Santa gifts at $.99! The school supplies that are left over from the back-to-school section are at 75% off and there are some bargains there. Bic pens (10-pack) for $.25…I had Target coupons for $1/2 Bic products so they were FREE. Four-packs of spiral notebooks (college and wide ruled) were only $.15 and 2-pocket folders were $.03. Also, check the freezers…there were bargains on clearance priced things all throughout the freezer. Travel sized items are always affordable and several are on clearance there as well, making it an even better deal. Also, they have some great movies for $5…pair that with $2 Columbia movie coupons (many of the $5 movies are Columbia) and you have more Christmas goodies to stash away. Watch your register receipts in Target…great coupons are printed on them!

    • laura

I just printed the RiteAid Clean and Clear coupon, and it says “manufacturer’s coupon” right on top. I’m not sure how I can combine this with the other manufacturer coupon to get it free?

      • Susan

It works—the upc on the Rite Aid one starts with RA—can only be used at Rite Aid. Definitely combines with a regular manufacturer’s coupon that can be used anywhere.
