public gardens

Looking for a great FREE Spring outing for the kids? Celebrate National Public Gardens Day, Friday May 9th.  It’s a little ways from now, but I wanted to give you a heads up so you could plan your outing.

The family can enjoy any participating Botanical Garden, Arboretum or other public garden for FREE! Search for participating gardens in your area and download their offer coupon to bring with you.

Bring the kids and perhaps have a a family picnic in the gardens to celebrate mom (since it’s 2 days before Mother’s Day) and enjoy the beauty.

      hi i live in Durham NC
      we have a participating garden here but in the coupon it said only Enjoy a 15% discount on purchases in the Terrace Shop on May 9, 2014. Excludes books & sale items.
      It didn’t mention about free admission.
      To enjoy the free admission does it need to say it on the coupon.

        Normally you don’t need the coupon.. or at least here in Nashville you don’t. You should call the gardens to make sure.
