was at Officemax today & used all the coupons.  The filler paper is B1G1 free too, so you get 6 packs of paper for $.60.  I had to ask the manager because the coupon was confusing, but this is what he said it should be.  note – the filler paper only has 100 sheets, but for $.10 i'll take it.

I didn't even notice the exclusion of HP ink on the $5 off coupon, and used it this morning on HP ink.  I was able to combine it with the $10 free gift card for buying $39 or more in HP ink.  I thought it was weird they would offer both deals at the same time, but had no trouble using them both this morning at all.  Ended up with an ok deal, only because I needed it soon, and couldn't wait for some to be delivered from Ebay.  Didn't want to miss out on any printable coupons, ya know !?

Is it true that publix will no longer take multiple manifactuers cupons on a single product?

      • SMF

I have never known Publix or any other store for that matter, to take multiple Manu. coupons on a single item.  In fact, most all coupons even, say one coupon per purchase.

I got my email from Office Max yesterday morning and apparently the coupons were not in their system yet.  I thought it would be a quick stop.  The cashier and manager had to fight with it but they were awesome.  The filler paper coupon was confusing because it says 20cents per pack PLUS buy 1 get 1 free and limit 6.  I had to ask if that meant I could buy 6 at 20cents each and get 6 for free, but they said it was 6 total.  The pens coupon rang up fine but apparently combined with another promo they were having so I ended up getting 1 pack of them for free.  The manager said she didn't even want to fight with it over the 20cents so I got 5 packs of pens for 80cents.  The 1-subject notebooks were an issue as well because they were on sale for a different price than the regular price and the coupon didn't adjust it properly.  The 2 ladies were wonderful, though.  My Office Max also had the little hand-held pencil sharpeners for 1cent (limit 2) and packages of (24, I think?) cap erasers for 1 cent (limit 2).

With all the school supply deals, my kids are stocked for life on most things.  I frequently donate to the schools, too.  We have an electric pencil sharpener so we don't need the hand-held manual ones but for a penny – the teacher can give them away.  My kid's 2nd grade teacher had cap erasers on her classroom wish list last year, too, so I am sure someone will love getting those.  Our schools have “treasure boxes” in their classrooms as well so everything will find a home somewhere.

It was a confusing shop for us too, but well worth it in the end.  Just be patient that the computer isn't necessarily ringing them up right and if you have the teacher reward card, it's worse.  Be on the lookout for several store coupon tearpads on the back-to-school displays.  There were three store coupons I found – one for $5 off 3 sharpie or expo products: bought 4 packs of sharpie pens on sale for 2 for $3 and used the coupon to get the 4 packs for $1.  The second coupon was for a free tote when you buy two scotch-brand or post-it products and the third was for buy any bic item and get the second for 50% off.  All expire the end of September, so I'm hanging on to the them while I wait for a good deal to pop up.

I went today and apparently yesterday there was confusion w/ the coupons. From what the cashier said, they were emailed out, but not put into system yet. The filler paper was 20 cents but BOGO, so 60 for 6 packs, awesome deal!! I am disappointed w my Office Max though, they did not put out the expo coupons. There is a place on the cardboard display that states “put coupons here”, but no coupons. I do not think someone took them all either b/c I was in there right after they were put up. Boo! I really could use some Sharpies!

I went today and got 12 packs of paper (.10 ea with BOGO and .20ea coupon), 5 spiral notebooks (.20 ea), 5 packs of 10 pens (.20 ea), 2 boxes of erasers (.01 ea), and 2 pencil sharpeners (.01 ea)== Total with Tax $3.29… Yay me!
