Want to get a free rotisserie chicken for buying things at the grocery store that are already on your list?

The Publix One List Life promotion is back and you can earn a FREE rotisserie chicken when you buy 3 participating P&G items  now through May 11, (or May 10, depending on your sale cycle).  For most of us, the items that are part of this promotion are already items you need and use so why not get a free chicken with them!  This makes dinner a breeze whether you eat it on it’s own or do my go-to of using it as pre-cooked meat for other meals like chicken tacos.

Need some ideas on how to use your free rotisserie chicken?  I’ve written a post with some rotisserie chicken recipe ideas.

How it works:

-Buy any three of the participating items.
-Pick up a rotisserie chicken at the deli.
-Check out with your chicken and three items and the chicken will show up free on your receipt!

May OLL Product List

Yesterday I got the got my rotisserie chicken and it was a deal!  The Tide alone had an awesome deal going on and when I bought three, it was about the same price as the chicken would have been.

    • Janice

I was intrigued for years when I read about people who could get 3 meals from a chicken. With 2 adult males, 3 adult females and an 11 yr old boy it seemed incredible, but we now do it! Dinner with sides for night one, chicken on lettuce salads for mom and dad, and chicken salad for everyone else the next lunch, and then crockpot the bones, and make “junk soup” using the last meat scraps, orzo, and mixed veggies. Not bad for a free chicken!

I pull the skin off the breast and cut it into small strips to fry and make yummy crunchy garnishes for the salads my hubby & I will enjoy later once the kiddos are asleep. Any extra breast meat ( usually not any left, lol) will be made into wraps for leftover lunches or chicken salad. I also keep the bones in a slider bag in the freezer to make stock from later…. Everybody wins & there is no waste ????
