              Thank you!

            • Christina

Do you know if that coupon is still there? I looked and I don’t see where you are talking about.

              Thanks!

            • Ashley

It is still there, it says click and save on it

    • Ben Saving

Is there a way to print just the coupon without all the other junk that uses up my printer ink? I always try to print 2 coupons on a page to save paper. The Del Monte Fruit Chillers printed on the bottom of the page so right on top of the coupon on the other side. – wasted. ugh

      • Lori

I have a mac, so I click on Comand-Shift-4 and I get to drag a screen shot. It automatically saves on my desktop. Then I paste it on a document in Open Office, Pages, or Word. I can then print several different coupons per page. :)

      • Michelle

i fip my paper over after the first print (if there is only one coupon at the top) and the print on the other side (and at the other end). So I end up with a coupon at the end of paper but on opposite sides….a hassle but saves paper too……I don’t have a way to save ink though.

      • Julia

I don’t know how to just print the coupon, but if I can see the junk that will print and I know that the actual coupon is done, I just hit cancel on my printer itself. This stops the page from finishing and spits out the paper. (technical, I know) :) Then I can flip the paper around for the next print.

        • Diana

To save on ink I go under print settings-fast draft-and black ink only. The fast draft is great because it doesn’t use as much ink.

          • Jenny

Some stores will not accept anything but the color copies (because they will print only once from your computer and it proves that you have not just made copies of the same coupon).

            • Jennifer

if the coupon comes with a big ad at the bottom i cut my paper big enough for the coupon to print but not the other stuff. I can usually print 3 coupons per piece of paper this way. Saves paper & ink.

      • Rachael

Not sure where to send a comment but according to the Publix in Lexington they will not take coupons from Target – the Chex Mix coupons from this week, they say Target is not a grocery store so they are not a direct competitor.

        • My Publix here in Greenville SC told me they only take coupons from Bloom, Bi-Lo and Ingles…no Target or Food Lion.

      • Jenni

I do flip the page as well, but still get surprised sometimes. When in doubt of how a coupon will print, I use a fresh page and then save it until I have one to print that I know will print a certain way. BUT, whenever I encounter a coupon that prints with one of those pointless added ads, or it is insanely big (think the Con Agra coupons after playing that “recession game”) I write the company and ask them to change the way they print their coupons, and cite the reasons why, and that it will make me think twice about purchasing their product at all if I can’t easily and economically print their coups.

    • Jo

Just FYI, the $3 off a $10 deli purchase from FL was rejected. I was told they only take competitor’s for regular grocery items “out on the floor.” But Publix is so great who can complain.

      • Kim C

I can’t believe they rejected it. I’ve used that coupon many times at a few different Publix’s. I’m sorry that they did that. They are a wonderful company though.

      • Amos

I’ve been using that one at least once a week at Publix since it became available. You may want to try another Publix or ask the manager.

      • Judy

Mine was rejected too (Lexington, SC store). No biggie. I saved a ton of money this week!!

    • lydia

can you use like a target coupon and a mani couon together for exp. this would be .16
      Chex Mix $1.66 ea
-.50/1 Chex Mix SS 10/25 or printable or here or here (makes it 66¢ ea)
-.50/1 Chex Mix printable (Target coupon)
      Thanks for ALL your help

      • Chantelle

IF your Publix accepts Target. Mine does, but they don’t double them. So yes, I’m hoping for a few bags of $.16 Chex mix.

        • ~*Brook*~

If you buy 2 of the same items, can you use 2 Target coupons?

          • lydia

okay thank you so much i’m still learning all this, :)

          • AngelaDH

Depends on your store. At the Ooltewah Publix, no, but some others may let you.

            • lydia

I know that my store excepts target coupons but I was not sure if you could use 2 coupons or not, thanks for all your help

        • Shawna

Def. ask your Publix IF they will accept Target coupons. I learned today that they DO NOT. The man said they also do not take Food Lion. It’s always better to know ahead of time!

    • Vanessa

Jenny, you have the wrong link hooked up to the last or here for the Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers. That link is for yogurt.

    • ~*Brook*~

I sure wish I could find this Winter Savings booklet!! I have looked at 3 different Publix stores around my area! Anybody around Conyers, GA have any luck?

      • Chantelle

I have not found any coupons booklets at my Publix in months. I’m wondering if they are hiding them behind the counter. I hate to ask but how are you supposed to get them?

        • ~*Brook*~

It’s so aggravating to have to go on a safari to hunt these booklets down!! They should be displayed neatly at the front of the store with everything else!!

          • Cheri

I’ve become grateful that they put them behind the counter because otherwise I never end up getting one since people take stacks of them. It may be a pain to have to ask but I have better odds of actually getting the coupons now. They are always very friendly about it.

            • Michelle in Martinez

Whenever I ask at the counter (service desk) they look at me like I have three heads and say that they don’t know what I’m talking about!

            • JC

I agree with Michelle. Whenever I try to ask at customer service they don’t know what I’m talking about. They can’t even tell me what booklets they have in the store. They just tell me to hunt throughout the store and there “here and there”. Grrrr…. It’s so frustrating!

        • Misti

my store deliberately keeps books behind the counter because so many people take dozens of them at a time! so don’t be afraid to ask – if they do have them back there they won’t mind giving you one.

        • Call or email the Publix number off the site. They will mail you each booklet currently available….they will call over the phone to tell you they are shipping them to.

          • ~*Brook*~

Just sent an email, so hopefully I will hear something soon!

          • Carrie

If that’s the case this is a much easier solution that looking for them. I will try that and see if it works. Thanks! :)

          • Lisa

What site are you referring to? Publix’s site? What email address did you use? Did you just ask for all available booklets or just the Winter Savings booklet? Thanks!!

          • Tina

I tried writing an email about a month ago and never get any response at all. If it is hard for you all to find those booklets, it is 10 times harder for a legally blind person like me. All I ever get is the yellow or green advantage sales thingie which they put with their weekly sales ad. When I ask at the service desk, they almost never know anything! So I just look with envy at all those great deals you all can get. Sad…

Thanks Jenny for putting all the deals.

        • I always ask them if they know if the new booklet came out yet. They sometimes have them in the office in a box. No one has ever been upset with me for asking. Can’t hurt :)

          • Paula

Don’t ask a cashier or a Service desk worker. I always ask the stockers. They know where everything is!

        • Susan

Because of the volume of folks using coupons now, and unfortunately, some like to take the flyers by the stack, they have put them behind the counter so everyone gets a chance to get them. Go to the service desk and ask for any coupons they may have available. Whenever I do, they always give me 2 copies..understanding the need for B1G1 deals.

      • Steve

They were in Loganville on Monday morning, gone by Tuesday afternoon.

      • Margie

I haven’t seen a savings booklet from Publix since September. I even asked last night if they had any more Advantage Buy Fliers and they said they were out until Thursday. It’s just a little rant I have about Publix – but I still LOVE them for being so helpful. I think I’ll try the tip about calling for the booklets. :)

      • jennifer

i found one on the floor on my way out last week. i looked while i was shopping, but didnt see anything. good luck i guess!

      • Shannon

I am in Conyers and I have not been able to find it either. I looked at the one on Brown Bridge last night and they didnt have any.

      • Miranda

The Publix store on HWY 138 in Conyers has had the winter savings booklets for at least 2 days this week. I picked up one each day as I excited the store. I found them on a display just outside the door, closest to the Sunstrust ATM. They were right beside the Coke machines in a cardboard box display. As of last night there were still plenty there! Hope this helps.

      • Tara

Hi! I live in Lexington, SC and I finally found these coupon books today! Had to get them from customer service.

      • Nancy

My husband works for a company that delivered the Winter coupon books. They had to be at the store by Friday 11/13. They were shipped to our house in displays and we delivered them to each store. Maybe some places didnt have ppl in the company to deliver to certain places. Dont give up..maybe check friday..also dont be afraid to ask, I used to work at Publix and im sure if they know about the book they will be happy to give it to you. Good Luck!

      • Robin

        Hi all
Just some info, I work for Publix, and in regards to the coupon books that Publix puts out it isn’t that we aren’t putting them out, we are. But the couponers are taking them all in one scoop. It is a situation that has gotten completely out of hand. On Saturday we put out the new advantage buy flyer that has coupon’s as well. And by that evening every single one was gone. That was 400 flyers GONE. And this is happening every time we put them out. We at store level are at a loss, we have to put them out, we can’t “hide” them. But at the same time when they are out, greedy folks take them all and don’t give others a fair chance in participating in the great deals…
Hope this gives you some insight.! Happy couponing!!! Robin

        • Elizabeth

400 flyers gone in one day (especially if it was the first day they were put out) doesn’t seem unreasonable b/c I bet you get at least that many shoppers in one day. If you see a certain person take a ton, please speak to them, but don’t accuse couponers in general of being “greedy.” Why doesn’t Publix work out a better system, like putting one in each shopper’s bag at check-out?!

          • Susan

Putting them in the bag would be a good idea…But in regards to the 400, my store manager told me that they set up a display with booklets on all 4 sides at 11. They walked by the display at 11:15 and they were ALL gone! This is not a store problem…. unfortunately, too many people are only looking out for themselves, and not thinking that others are coming behind them….Hopefully these people will overplay their strategy and be exposed….

            • Brenda

I bet I know where those books are, EBAY!!!!! tHE PEOPLE STEALING THE BOOKS ARE SAME ONES WHO STEAL THE PEELIES OFF OF PRODUCTS!!! Yes they are greedy and they mess things up for the rest of us!!

      • Pat

The centerville store off Hwy 124 had a display full at the front door on Wednesday

      • ~~Kim~~

I was in the publix on Lake Dow yesterday and they had them in front of the customer service desk. That’s in McDonough.

    • Sarah

when i tried printing the softsoap coupon it printed instead a fake coupon that said in big black letters “you have exceeded your household limit” soooo glad my ink was wasted by softsoap.

      • Laura

I was able to print one, but my second one did the same thing. Grrrrr :(

      • Michelle in Martinez

        i got this message:
Sorry, you have already printed this coupon or the promotion has ended.
i haven’t printed any coupons, so i guess they are all out! :(

      • ~*Brook*~

I was only able to print one coupon

      • Carrie

I hate when they print to let you down and say “we wasted your paper but no coupon available”

        • Amy

Try sending the paper through with the ink side down so you can recycle. I hope this eases the pain of rejection.

      • Ann

I was able to print one, but the coupon does say Limit one coupon per household, so that may be all they are allowing to print.

      • kathyctts

Beware of the soft soap coupon! It prints in the middle of the page, I was using a short piece of paper, left over from another coupon, and missed out on the last half inch of the coupon. Why do they do this? Why do they go out of their way to make us waste paper and ink?

        • Jenni

In was able to print the soft soap coup, but it printed in the middle of the page. THANKFULLY, I didn’t have a coup already printed in the same area on the back of the page. But yes, it’s only one per household.

    • bhumi

thanks for all your help Jenny

    • Ashley

There was not a coupon in my WinterFamily Style Magazine for the Gourment Toppings. Does Publix have different versions of this magazine?

      • rydergal

The magazine that is mailed to you has the q’s in it. The version in the store has 1 q, but the one that comes in the mail had another page full of q’s. You can sign up on their website :)

    • Christy

I was not able to get a coupon for the Wisk or campbells soup….

      • Morgan

Me neither for the Wisk… :(

      • Jarrod

Me either, tried 3 different IP addresses and even dumped my whole cache….nothing..

        Ah well…dirty cloths for another 3 months…
Least I still have 6 bottles of Snuggle..

        • Carrie

at least they will be wrinkle free *wink*

    • Karen

I know you hear this all the time but this is a wonderful site, thanks Jenny.

    • Phillis

Hey anyone? Will the Target $1 off Doritos work on the Doritos? If so, makes Doritos $1. Not sure if the size matches up correctly though.

      • Jenny

They are not the same sizes. I think the Target one is for a 17oz. family size.

      • Meredith

don’t think so-target coupon says family size 17oz

    • Kelsie

Hey guys. Just to let you, keep your eyes open for coupons for $2 off milk when you purchase two Kellogg’s cereals. Today, I got the Special K with coupons making $.50 profit and then getting $2 off milk making it $1.09 for a gallon. They are on small cardboard hangers by the cereal.

    • ~*Brook*~

Anybody familiar with this Pet Savings for All Seasons booklet? I’ve never even heard of it let alone see any.

      • Esmelda

They came out a few months ago. I only saw them at one Publix in our area. ‘Took one that day and the next day they were gone. They were printed on very nice paper and had spiral binding. It seemed like a bit of a waste, but the coupons in there are very good.

        • libby

I never even saw these. I wish I could have gotten one though.

    • Steve

I never could find the $1 off Sorrento Mozzarello Cheese coupons listed in SS on 7/19. Anybody seen this coupon?

      • ~*Brook*~

I found this coupon today in front of this product in one of those little blinkie dispensers.

        • Steve

Brook, I appreciate your help but that blinkie was for Sargento cheese not Sorrento. They are 2 different companies.

          • Jennifer

She’s right, there is a $1 blinkie for Sorrento mozerella cheese and a blinkie for .55 Sargento cheese. Hope you can find the right one.

    • Amanda

There is also a $1.00 a Frozen Publix Pie from Baby Club if you have that one. (Makes one pie $2!!)

      • MW

There are several GREAT coupons through the baby club this month.

        • Shannon in ATL

Any suggestions for the Baby Club coupons, signed up last month and want to make sure I am making the most of these coupons…thanks!

        • Bonnie

How are you getting the baby club coupons? I signed up but only received 1 mailing.

    • Anne

Thanks for all your hard work!

    • Stephanie

Thank you so much for all the hard work you do. I am very new to the coupon business but with 7 kids it has become a vital part of my daily routine. I required some prodding to begin with from a close friend, but this site makes it all so easy!!! Thanks so much again!!!

      • rebecca

I have 7 also! :) LOVE this site!

    • Jarrod

      Link for Del Monte Chillers

      http://coupons.redplum.com/SouthernSavers/

      • LJ

What’s a good zip code for this Del Monte Chillers coupon? Mine didn’t work???

        • Jenny

          Try 90210 or 30003

        • I always use 30303. It seems to get many more coupons than my own. It worked for the chillers.

    • Abby

Quick question….I assume the Publix Baby Club coupons are store coupons. I know everyone has been saying you can tell its a store Q when its has a 4 digit # on it instead of a barcode, but these have barcodes. So….I just wanted to make sure I was right before I tried stacking some of them! Thanks!

      • RMD

You are right… a publix baby club coupon does have a scan bar, but if the coupon has a “lu#” & then four digits, it a store coupon which can then be stacked with a manf Q. Hope that helps!

      • Michelle

        Hi,

Yes, baby club coupons are store coupons and can be stacked with man coupons.

      • Abby

        Thanks!!!!

    • katie

      THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • ~*Brook*~

The No Yolks Egg Noodles coupon from ss 10/4 is actually a rebate of up to $2.50. So with the -$0.75 IP this makes it FREE with a PROFIT of $0.75!!

      • Lisa

Minus the cost of the stamps too…

    • Maranda

I have signed up for various subscription magazines and newsletters, clubs that Publix offers 2 months ago and have never received anything except the Publix pals cd game. I emailed corporate to let them know that my store never has coupon books at the store available and I haven’t been receiving any of the club magazines or offers. All I got in return was a call from the store manager telling me that what coupon books they have available(IF ANY) will have to be received at the service desk, no offer to mail me any and no emails from corporate or anything! Did anyone else sign up for anything with Publix and not receive?

      • Miranda

I signed up for the green wise & family style magazines sometime over the summer. I received the fall issues but haven’t gotten the winter ones.
I emailed corporate once about coupon booklets. The only contact info I gave was my address. I got it in the mail 1-2 weeks later.

        • Jennifer

Those magazines are quarterly. I received the holiday family style about a week ago. Keep checking the mailbox. I’m sure it will arrive anyday. If not, sign up again. I think you can do it online.

      • Michelle

Some quarters I get the one in the mail with coupons and sometimes I don’t. It’s hit or miss. I’ve tried resigning up but it didn’t work last season but this season I got one. I just never know.

    • Christine

Does anyone happen to know the page number in Nov. women’s day the glad coupon is on. I can’t seem to find it. Thank you!

    • Aymee

The Wisk coupon is not printing for me.

    • Kathleen

I got some $3 off 2 pkgs of Starbucks coffee peelies at Target weeks ago; used them to buy the Starbucks that was on sale at Publix a few weeks ago. BONUS: each bag of Starbucks was a “coupon” for a free cup of coffee at Starbucks!!! Saw some more peelies at Target last week and snagged them… so glad this sale came around again so fast, my DH will only use high end coffee, so a good price w/coupons helps!

Thanks Jenny… getting two more people where I work to start couponing using your site as the starting point. Your site is invaluable :]

      Kathleen
      ~Central FL

      • Michelle

Please do not take peelies off of products that you are not buying at that time. This is not fair to the rest of us!

        • Dale

I agree, Michelle…..wish they at least wouldn’t brag about it on this site. It is not right.

        • Miranda

I agree! Last week with the tostitos deal, I was only able to find ONE bag with a peelie for the free dip. It would have been nice if both bags I bought had one.

      • DJ

Did you steal the peelies off a product you didn’t buy or was there a pad? Taking a coupon from something you aren’t buying is stealing plain and simple.

        • Diana

          I agree!!!

          • LD

I do understand what you are saying . Have run into that lots of times or trying just to get the booklets at publix . But at least she is using them for herself and buying the product it was intended for . And she did not go to fleabay and charge someone 20 or 30 cents a piece for them . How many times have you seen empty tear pads ect. then go to ebay or even coupon sites for high fees . I think there is a lot worse out there than taking them for your own use . I cant do it, but this does not bother me, as she was using them for her own use.

        • Amy

I agree! It is rude and inconsiderate of another consumer that will actually BUY the product it is attached to! You STOLE that person’s savings! Have you no conscience or conviction to do what is right?

          • Paula

I have mixed feelings on the peelies. Sometimes I buy something that has a peelie and don’t use the peelie because I have a better coupon. Other times I might not see it at all. Before couponing (I started in Sept) I’d buy something with a peelie and not even use it. If the cashier didn’t notice it, it didn’t get used! Now I try and find items that DONT have the peelie if I have a better coupon. I share coupons often during shopping trips too.

The Publix booklets are often found behind the service desk. My publix (Vinyards, tallahassee) rarely has tearpads and only a few blinkies. I think people take wads of them for ebay.

I will also say I ran into Winn Dixie recently (first time in over 10 years) and found a lot of tearpads and blinkies and booklets. I did take some, but I bought some things there as they had a few deals along with the coupons–they had Sprite 4 for $5 and an attached $1 off. AND they had the elusive Wine tag coupons.

            • Jenni

Okay, I will fess up. I take peel-off coupons from packages that I don’t buy AT THAT TIME. But I limit myself to 2 peel off coups per item, period, any more than that feels wrong.

Also, I only do this when there is plenty coups still left on the shelf, the item is not on sale, and I know that a sale on them is about due to happen, but I may not be able to get to the store before “the crazies” (The people that wipe out an entire product. Some of whom enjoy bragging about it here, not realizing that they sound just a wee bit like a “CGG” – compulsively greedy glutton). If I don’t take the coup THEN, then when it does go on sale, I am not likely to remember about the possible peel off savings.

And I NEVER do it to re-sell them. That’s a whole level of evil crazy that I will never go to.

All this said, I am seeing more and more peel-off coups that say they HAVE to be removed by a cashier, and that should eventually solve this problem for all of us, eh?

      • Sarah S.

When you take coupons off of products that you are not buying, you are stealing.

        • Stacy

Peelies were missing from the cookie dough in the refer section today- I asked the guy next to me who was stocking where they all went? He said they were there earlier! Kathleen, were you in Georgia lately?? LOL Really, I’m sure after everyones picked on you, you wont do it again- at least not admit to it!! It is very aggravating though!!

          • Angela

I seriously cannot stop laughing at all these comments tonight!!! I don’t know what my problem is… I am in tears…

      • susan

Oh no….did you really do this. Peelies are only if you are buying!

        • me

in reply to all of the above –
          you snoooooooooooze you looooooooooooose
If you see a peelie on something you’d like to buy if it went on sale at another (or the same) store – grab ya a couple.
I am an advocate of only taking a couple and leaving some, though ;)
I always check the expiration date before I peel though, then decide how many I need….

          Flame away!

TY for the info on the peelies. I will definitely BOLO for them when I hit Target today HOPE I FIND BUNCHES

        :D

        • Kathleen

          Thank you me!!

I was hoping someone would not think I am that terrible.

I have been thinking about what some of the dissenters have said and have come up with some scenario’s that I would like their opinion on:

          1) looking for coupons using a zip code that is not your own????
isn’t this similar to taking coupons meant for others, since they
          are marketing to specific areas.
          2) using multiple computers to print coupons?? If you have more than one computer and print 2 q’s at each computer is this “stealing” too??

          • dj

Let me ask you a question. Would you tell the manager of the store you were about to take all the coupons off the products in his store so you could use them at a different store? Of course you wouldn’t because it’s wrong.

I live my life for God. Because of that there are certain things I would never consider doing no matter how tempting. Deception, cheating, and stealing really aren’t compatible with my beliefs.

            Good luck to you.

            • Jennifer

              DJ,

I completely agree. I’m so glad there are other ethical couponers out there. Sometimes I think greed & competitiveness takes over…. I have to save, I have to save. Live for God and everything else will fall into place.

          • marina

Now you’re just looking for excuses. Can’t compare apples to oranges!

            • Kathleen

              Marina,
I believe these examples are apples to apples situations… my reading of the comments indicates that the moral/ethical law I broke was to take the savings from another person. As commenter LD said, I used them for my own savings on the intended product, not to make a profit by selling them.

If coupons are for a specific zip code and I don’t live there, am I taking the savings from another person by using that zipcode to get the coupon?

If there are a set number of coupons released for a specific product and one person can print only 2 coupons on their computer vs someone who has access to multiple computers, is that not depriving others of the savings? What number of coupons from an internet printable campaign is acceptable for one person/family?

What about using more than one email address to sign up for sites that require you to do so to get a coupon?

Taking a tearpad coupon from store A and using it at store B… that’s not using it on the intended product at THAT store; isn’t the store losing out? Is that okay?? Would the store manager think so? DJ?? Diana??

Having CVS cards for all the adults in the house, so that a person can get the deals more than once. Is that not depriving others of the opportunity for savings when they notoriously run out of stock on the best deals???

I am asking these questions seriously, not as an excuse. I think it is an interesting topic. I think there are far more egregious misuses of coupons than taking a few peelies and waiting for a sale to use them. If the sale happened at Target, as they have had a few in the past six months, I would have used them there.

            • amy

sounds to me like Kathleen has done MORE than just take peelies off of a product!! She has come up with some different things even I didnt know about!! Oh well, I always say…. in the end, the one doing wrong will eventually end up having some misfortune come their way!! Great lesson for life!!

            • Kathleen

Really Amy?? Which of the 4 examples did you not know about? Using different zipcodes? Printing from more than one computer? Taking coupons from tearpads? Or having more than one CVS card?? All of the examples listed except CVS cards are talked about routinely w/in a Publix post.

            • lisaallynn

She does have a good point, multiple CVS cards in the same household, multiple computers used to print more than two coupons that are intended by the manufacturer are alittle on the dishonest side too. She ONLY took a couple and used them for her self. I have a bigger problem with the parasites that take ALL of the coupons and sell them on ebay.

I had to fight back the urge to use the self check out at my Publix today because I know that the cashers are going to use the double supression key on my coupons. I decided that it was not worth it in the long run. But! man was it hard! LOL.

I don’t think that Kathleen-sorry it I misspelled your name-thought that those two coupons would cause so much ado or that there was anything wrong with it. This is all a learning experence for all of us. I do think that attacking her will not anyone.

I am just glad that she got them before those ebay/fleamarket dirt-bags did.

            • Devon

On many, if not most, of the peelie coupons, you’ll see, ‘Save $xx.xx NOW!!!’ I think that clearly shows that the intent of the coupon is to be used on the product that it came with, at the time of purchase. Is that to say it can’t be used later? Of course not. But is the intent for it to be used later? No.

Stores get “scan-downs” from the manufacturers when these coupons are used during certain time periods. So if you take the coupon, and use it later, not only are you taking money from another person who intended to use it correctly, but you are also taking money from the store. Many probably don’t really care about it, but what if it was your store? What if you were giving the coupons to your customers?

As a former drugstore manager, I cannot tell you how frustrating it was when customers would come in and take the peelies off of products without buying them. We often advertised products with “Coupon On Package”. The vendor ships only a small set of extra coupons with the product, which is supposed to be used for products already in-store that don’t contain the coupon. These peelies are intended for use on the product at the store. Not for saving for a later date. Unethical? Not sure. Inconsiderate? Definitely. And yes, there are tons of coupon “tricks” that fall under the same umbrella. I don’t believe any of them are right either. As the saying goes…”If your friends jumped off a bridge, would you?”

        • Wee

I went to a rummage sale in Deltona the other day and found a bunch of freebies for sale. For example, about 40 Glade candles for $1 each, lots of cough drops, 25 tubes of Almay, etc. At the local Target nearby, all of the coupons that were supposed to be in the Glade tins had been stolen.

          • Jenni

The same thing happens at our local flea market. I’ve only been there once, but there were several stands that were re-selling items like laundry soap, candle, etc. Some people are desperate for ways to make money these days, and humble themselves to do it. As long as they did it legally, I have no problem with it. Sure, I sometimes miss out on deals, but as another person put it, “the deal train” will come around again, and I’ll be just fine.

      • Wee

Don’t do it Kathleen. It’s not worth it. Examine your life: aren’t you a little better than that? Do you really need the food that you’re scheming to get, or is this something that you just want? What if your neighbors, co-workers, or church friends saw you secretly stealing peelies at Publix? Wouldn’t you be ashamed and embarrassed? We’re all trying to be good steward of the money God gave us, but oh, how the Devil loves to take something ‘good’ and turn it into something sinful.

      • Kathleen

I have been called rude and inconsiderate and accused of being a thief because I talked about taking some peelies (5 total, $3 off 2 pkgs Starbucks) ) off a product at Target, waiting for a sale and when a sale came up at Publix, used the coupons there.

I am defending my taking of the peelies for use at a later time and I subsequently posed a few examples of other types of coupon acquisition scenarios and asked if those qualified similarly as rude/inconsiderate/stealing.

Thus far, no one has addressed the specific examples. And yes Amy, there many more ways that coupon acquisition/usage can be questioned. Or doing “deals” that can be questioned ethically.

booklets at Publix w/ mfq’s that say redeem at Publix (no wording only Publix) so, they can be used elsewhere; however, is this ethical? Didn’t Publix go to the expense to make the arrangements with the various companies to offer these deals.

What about posting deals that take advantage of a store accidentally programming their registers to do a full bogo instead of a bogo 50% off, that simultaneously results in the store printing 2 RR’s as in the Almay deal?

        • Denise.

          Kathleen,
I think that you shouldn’t worry about what the ‘others’ have to say. Maybe some should consider minding their own…There are far worse things that could be done. We’re talking coupons here! right? Ladies, is this all really going to matter in 2 weeks, 2 months, 2 years? Think about it, and try to use your time a little more constructively.

        • Jenny

Okay, stepping in now. I will try to keep an eye on this post any further comments in this string will be deleted. Everyone know’s my take here so I’m not weighing in or taking a position just keeping us focused, kind and on task.

          Happy Friday!

          • Amy

EBAY I have sold coupons that I am not going to use. Usually 2 or 3 per product. For a small amount of money. Not everyone that sells coupons on ebay is doing it because they have taken stacks of coupons. Sometimes when I am cleaning out my coupons I just realize that there is a good assortment that someone might like to use. I also give away coupons to people who tell me which coupons they use. Please do not be so harsh in judging people or generalizing.

            • Michelle in Martinez

I found a really great way to get rid of my unused (expired) or unwanted coupons…you can give them to military personnel. They are allowed to use coupons that are up to 6 months past the expiration date. What a great way to support our military and get rid of coupons that are useless to us (without having to go on ebay to try to make a profit). Please consider this next time you’re cleaning out your old coupons! :)

          • Brenda

My concern is that stores will crack down and we will all suffer. Everyone please be wise and think of others.

      • Miranda

        So tacky.

    • Patti

Hey, in case you’re in Forsyth County in Ga, have you seen the notices that as of Nov. 14 they will only be taking coupons for Ingles, besides their own, no more Target or Food Lion! Only true grocery stores in the county. I loved using Target ones, you could print as many as you needed to make it to the next sale. Bummer!

      • Annie

What Publix’s in Forsyth co.? I usually go to the one at Hwy 9 and Post Rd, they always take my Target q’s there.

        • Carolyn

Hey, Forsyth county. I am dissapointed as well. Mgr says its b/c the target is so far away. He says the one at 400 will still take them. What to do?

          • Susan

My Publix at Lanier Crossing (HWY 369 and HWY 306) will only be accepting Kroger and Ingles coupons as of Nov. 14…even though we have a SuperTarget fairly close by. Too bad!!!

            • Carrie

My Publix on 20 is still taking them, I hope ;o) I will know for sure this afternoon.

            • Bonnie

As of Monday, the Publix at ex 14 in Cumming still takes Target and Rite Aid coupons. Oh, please don’t let it change!!

    • Carolyn

I have been “southern saving” for about 3 months. All of a sudden, my wonderful Publix will no longer take competitors coupons except for Ingles and Kroger. This means no more Rite Aid ($5 off $25) or even the Target coupons! Rite Aid is just around the corner and Target is about 5 miles away. Needless to say, I am dissapointed. I have politely talked to the manager, and he politely apologized. I really understand that Rite Aid is not a competitor (not a true grocery), but our Super Target most definately is a competitor. Has anyone else had this problem? By the way, thanks. I have saved about $1000.00 since I began!

      • Angela

I don’t want to identify the specific Publix I use because they have taken away one thing at a time one day at a time… But our Publix does not take the $5 off $25 anymore… nor do they take any coupon of local competitors unless they are pharmacies (except Fred’s) or grocery stores… they also decided TODAY they wouldn’t double any 50c or less coupons if they say “DO NOT DOUBLE” anymore (this was automatically happening at the register)… I have only been doing this for three weeks, and I love it. I still love Publix because they have quality items. It is very difficult, though, not to become completely discouraged.

        • lisaallynn

Does anyone know why the manufacture’s coupons say not to double/triple? Why do they care if the store is paying for the double/triple? My publix also started to suppress doubling today. It sucks. But I guess that in that I should be glad that they double at all, poor folks in florida….

          • Mina

I was given an answer to that. The manufacturers wouldn’t care if it were actually the store doubling the coupons, but the stores that offer doubling have agreements that have the major manufacturers footing the doubled portion of q’s UNLESS they state, “Do Not Double”. Publix decided that they longer want to absorb the cost themselves. So, their stores are being instructed to suppress doubling.

            • lisaallynn

Thank you so much Mina. It really did not make sense to me, and that drives me crazy-it gets my OCD a-going! LOL.

      • SeeLifeMarvels

My regular Publix (Gulf Breeze, FL) tried to deny a Target coupon today because “They’re not a grocery store” and “There’s no SuperTarget in Pensacola.” As politely and as assertively as I could, I had the cashier check with a floor manager. Guess what? Target could be used, but she wouldn’t let me stack a Target with a manu q. So, as Jenni stresses, it doesn’t hurt to ask. I also let my cashier know the Target on the westside of town (Blue Angel Pkwy) has a pretty extensive grocery section and is considered a competitor.

So sorry about the end of doubling for all of y’all outside of FL. We’ve never had that option, but I’m still able to save considerable amounts of money.

    • Redd

Is anyone else having an issue with this link?

Kraft Stove Top Stuffing, 5-6 oz. box, at $1.69 (84¢)
-$2 off Butterball Turkey wyb (5) Stove Top Stuffings printable

I don’t see where to click once I am at the website.

      • Patricia

this coupon is also in the Nov issue of All You, page 68

    • Tammie

I used the $3 off $10 deli purchase at Publix in Duncan/Moore last week with no problem.

    • Ansley

I have a question about the huggies in ad coupon. I have a baby club coupon for $10 off 2 boxes of huggies, can that also be used with 2 of the in ad coupons, or are those both store coupons?

      • Michelle

Those are all store coupons….I would use the baby club coupon stacked with (2) $2 off Huggies coupons.

        • Ansley

Thanks, I will do that then. Pretty good deal getting both boxes for $26.

          • Sean

If you can get to walgreens, you can get 4 bags for $22.96 using 4 -$2 printables and the -$5 off $25 coupon in the weekly ad.

          • Stephanie

Can you explain to me how you’re coming up w/ $26 for both. Are you talking about the BIG boxes? I’m confused. I thought I saw them for $33 something yesterday. We can only use 1 store Q, right? Please fill me in cause I’m missing something!!

            Thanks a bunch!

    • DJ

Don’t forget about the $1 off bulk Apples Target q to make them $.99 at Px.

      • LD

Are the bags of apples considered bulk ?

        • Jess

I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure it is the loose apples they are referring to.

        • AngelaDH

I used it at Bilo and made lots of apple butter with my $.33/lb apples! :)

          • AngelaDH

I bought the bagged ones because I interpreted “bulk” as bagged.

            • DeeDee

Used mine on bagged apples also.

    • ashley

I have heard the the Publix off GA 400 exit 17 only will take Kroger and Ingles coupons. Still accept their own as well. Does anyone know if the Publix off GA 400 exit 14 take target coupons?? The one off 14 always seems more uptight abour their coupons and the coupoon policy seems to vary from cashier to cashier.

      • Emily

        Ashley,

I shopped at exit 13 publix forever – castleberry and bethelview – and stopped once they stopped accepting all competitor coupons. Sometimes they’ll take cvs, most times not. The publix off 17 is where I now go, even without the target coupons. I can’t find a publix up here that accepts target coupons now – the mgr once told me they only accept comp. coupons if the other store is very close to that specific publix. Hope that helps!!

        • Stacy

I shop at exit 12 Publix and they wont accept Target iether! Also, just told today new rules- your coupons cannot go over the cost of the item. I told the gal the store still gets the money, but no deal. They were very nice about it though and I still spent only 43.00 and saved 38.00! :)

        • ashley

          HI!
Yesterday I went to the Publix on Castleberry and Bethleview and asked the manager which comp. coupons they take, she told me Kroger, Ingles and target. She told me this in front of a cashier so maybe that will help. I will be doing alot more shopping there since they take target and none of the other targets in the area are.

          • Emily

OMG I was at the publix at castleberry and bethelview saturday with my kids and mother, and they told us BOTH they will only accept Kroger and CVS coupons because they aren’t close to any other stores! They need to get their policies in order. They have changed mgt within the last few months, and stopped accepting so many coupons and stopped carrying a lot of my gluten free items. They have so lost my business… publix off 369 and 306 it is, when I’m not at kroger :(

        • carolyn

Ok, sunday went to exit 14 instead of my normal keith bridge publix. 4oo was great! they take all coupons except Food lion. (makes sense….dawsonville area). anyway, told mgr i used to shop at keith bridge but now at her store b/c of coupon policy. asked her not to change the policy. she appreciated the comments and was shocked the other publix had changed their policy.

      • Jessica

I just shopped at the exit 17 publix and used a Walgreens RR. Cashier let me know that there is a small sign posted at check out that starting 11/14 they will only accept Kroger and Ingles as competitor coupons. No more target, Food Lion, CVS, Rite Aid or Walgreens :(..anyone know of any Publix in vicinity that still does accept the RR Rewards?

        • Mina

Ask your store specifically about the RR’s. Our stores haven’t accepted anything besides local grocery store q’s around here for a long time, but they DO accept RR’s and other Catalinas *As long as they state “Manufacturer Coupon” and are coded as MQ’s*. My store says they DO get reimbursed for those, just like any other MQ.

        • carolyn

Ok, sunday went to exit 14 instead of my normal keith bridge publix. 4oo was great! they take all coupons except Food lion. • Bonnie

You really think exit 14’s publix is more picky about coupons? There is only one day shift cashier I can think of that is a little “slow-pokey” about them, but she usually takes everything — she won’t allow an overage though. The manager is always super nice. As of Monday, they still took Target coupons.

    • Lindsey

Hey does anyone know if I can use two Food Lion $1.00 off Cherrios and use the $1/2 manf coupon as well for 2 boxes of Cherrios? I was told at FL that I couldn’t use more than one of those coupons per visit but will Publix allow two in one transaction?

      • Lana

        Not at my Publix.

        • DeeDee

My south FL has allowed me to use 2 Target Q’s at one time.

      • Tori

My Aiken, SC Publix let me use (4) of the $0.55 coupon as well as (4) of the Food Lion $1.00 coupon last week on my four boxes of Cheerios.

      • Susan

Jenny has suggested that since FL only accepts one a day that to ask Publix to do more than one is probably not best. They’re gracious enough to accept competitor coupons and I’d hate to lose that privilege. For those that accepted it, that’s great, but I’d rather err on the safe side.

      • Valerie

I used 2 FL $1 off coupons and 2 manuf coupons and got FREE cheerios last week at the Publix in Duncan/Moore, SC…

    • Leslie

      Thank you!

    • Jacki

Does anybody know if Publix honors a $5 off $20 without the barcode? I know they honor with the bar code; just wondering. Would appriciate any info, thanks!!!

      • lydia

I called mine (in Ga) and they said they don’t unless its off a certain product, but I don’t know about all the rest, :)

    • Paula

I can’t find the $1 off yo-plus yogurt printable. Any zip code suggestions?

      Thanks,

      Paula

    • Diana

      Dear Jenny,
Thank You so much for all the hard work you do. I started Southern Savers three weeks ago. I graduated last May as a Radiology Tech and have yet to find a job. I am of course feeling down about that. I am a very positive person but it’s been 6 months now. My first trip to Publix I saved 30 dollars. My second trip I saved 50 dollars. And this past Sunday my third trip I saved 172 dollars. Your website has really lifted my spirits. Thank You again you are very much appreciated by myself, my husband and 2 kids.
      Godbless you Jenny

      • Where did you grad from? I am a rad tech and got laid off about a month ago! There are just NO jobs!!!! Good luck with the job search… I think that if you speacialize you would be able to find a job easier. In my past experience anyway. I live in middle tn. Oh and Southern Savers and Jenny have let us continue to EAT, but not only that EAT REALLY GOOD!!! Good luck to you and GOD bless!

        • Diana

          Thanks Ginny……Charleston SC

          • Diana

I pray you have better luck as well.

    • jenny valdez

Thanks for giving us this info for free and letting us profit from it! I’ve saved about $500.00 this past 20 days. Thanks be to God and my Father of my Lord Jesus Christ for His goodness to me in how I’m saving so much money!

    • Susan

I went to publix this morning on harbison and they said they don’t take target coupons. Does anyone in Columbia/Irmo know which one will/ or if any of them here do?

      • Amy

None of them do anymore in the Irmo area. If it was a Target SuperStore .. with the grocery store/deli/etc in it .. they would .. but not just Target

    • jessica

hey jenny i looked for the .50/1 Ricola Sugar Free Cough Drops 19ct. Walgreens Diabetes Booklet manufacturer coupon and cant find it as a mfr Q… mine only says walgreens. did i miss it?

      • Deborah

I wasn’t able to find it either. I was looking in the “diabetes & you” booklet dated Fall 2009. Is that the correct booklet?

      • Mine says “Manufacturer coupon good only at Walgreens”. I was wondering the same thing…did I miss something?

      • jessica

mine is coded as a wags Q… thats why i was confused :( is there another one thats coded as a mfr?

    • lydia

I have a coupon for a free lb of Velveeta cheese, does Publix except the “free” coupons, does anybody know thanks

      • Michelle

        Yes they do.

        • lydia

okay great! thank you so much I cant wait to stock up on this for the holidays….:D

          • Sara

Where did you find that coupon?

            • lydia

A Friend of mine emailed it to me it is a PDF and does not expire, I have never used one like this before but it has a bar code and they have used and it was fine, Im excited to see how it works, great for all my cooking, :D

      • Jenny

        Lydia,

Out of curiosity was this a coupon you got in an email to print?

        • lydia

yes it is, it is from Kraft, I hope it Will work should I be scared about using, Im not doing something wrong am I? I am very new to all this and im trying to stay right on everything, I will email it to you if you want me to there is also a Reynolds Wrap too,

      • valerie

i work for publix and we are not supposed to take “free” coupons. our manager told us that the free velveeta coupons are not real.

      • Molly

No – you may not use this coupon. I received the same coupon and it is a fraud coupon that is going around. RIGHT when I gave it to the cashier she told me it was fraud. I assured her that I did not know and just received it from a friend.

The manager later told me that any coupon that is PRINTED for a free item can not be accepted. If you receive it in the mail (like the Herbal Essence) then it is fine.

Note: there is also a Reynolds Wrap Free coupon going around that is fraud as well.

        • lydia

Okay I got both of them, so I will ask tomorrow when I go in thanks for the heads Up!!!!! :)

          • Mina

I just read your posts, and I’m really glad that someone replied much sooner. Those Velveeta and Reynolds Wrap q’s have been on the fraud list for quite a few months. You will not find a legitimate q for a free item in PDF form, and you won’t find legitimate offers for bulk purchase of them on eBay. There are a few legitimate q’s for free items, but they are clearly straight from the manufacturer (Like the Kashi ones that were embedded w/a hologram, or the glossy printed Rice Krispy ones.)

    • Misty

I absolutly LOVE this web-site, thank you for all of your hard work putting all of this VALUABLE information together!

    • Sara

NEW TO SOUTHERN SAVERS: I see where some coupons say copies not valid. Is this true? As long as you are buying the number of items you have coupons for, do stores limit you just because the coupon is a photocopy?

      • Dawn

Photocopies are not allowed, just like coupons from the paper – no copies. When you print a coupon, usually each one has its own pin or some other identifying aspect that means it is unique and cannot be copied.

      • Lisa

Copying a coupon, or altering the value or expiration date, is fraud. It’s in violation of the manufacturers’ policies and is illegal. Your grocery store only gets reimbursed for each unique barcode. If you make copies, your store will not get reimbursed for any of the copies.

        • Sara

Thanks ladies! I have always just used one coupon per item…just learning about “stacking” and want to make sure I do it right. I was not sure how to buy multiples of an item that is on sale if AI only had one coupon. Thanks for the info.

          • Paula

While u cannot copy them there are ways to get more than one coupon! For sunday inserts I buy 2 papers and even have friends and neighbors who give me theirs. For printing, the print sites will often allow printing of more than one–but there are limits. Just depends on the coupon. If you have access to more than one computer you can print extras. I have my husband print me extras at work if its something that I really need!

    • Amy

Jenny, my ad from today’s paper says the coffeemate creamer is the 32oz bottles for 2/$5

Also, I have Q’s from SS 10/18 for $1 off Mayfields!

      • Jenny

The 16oz size is on advantage buy so that is why it is listed too.

    • Lesley

Just FYI for people who shop at the Gallatin or Goodlettsville, TN Publix stores. I tried using Target coupons for cereal on Monday and the cashier would not take them and with a not so happy child I decided not to complain and get the heck out of there. I called and spoke with the manager at both stores and they said that they will only accept competitor coupons from Kroger or Foodlion.

Hope this saves someone some time and computer ink.

    • Jessica

The receipt piture is great! My last receipt from publix I save $197 and only spent $63! It was my best savings ever! That is 75% off! If we sent that receipt in the may want to reconsider their coupon policy. I love to save money!

      • Dawn

Where do you live? Here in Florida the best so far I have saved is $65 I can’t seem to get above that. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or if it’s just Florida… PLEASE HELP!!

        • Kathleen

          Dawn,
Read Jenny’s getting started guide! She gives great explanations for how to work coupon deals. At Publix, if you only buy the bogo deals, you are already saving 50% on your receipt, so that is not the best way to look at things; I wouldn’t be shopping at Publix if there weren’t more savings to be had beyond the bogo.

Many long term couponers are only buying items at low prices matched w/ coupons to add to or replenish a stockpile of goods that were bought at good prices. So, their saving are not what you might see with traditional shopping (weekly), so don’t be discouraged. If you looked at the shopping carts, you would not see a “well balanced” selection of items that would feed a family for a week.

Matching multiple coupons with sales and bogo’s to build a stockpile, so that eventually, you can shop like this is best accomplished by building a stockpile of coupons too! Most of the couponers who are saving a great deal of $$ buy or acquire 4 – 6 Sunday papers (largest city paper you can get is also best). The $ spent on the papers will undoubtedly be offset by the amount of money you will save until the coupons expire. Find out what competitors your Publix honors, which is another great way to add to your savings.

Today I shopped at Publix using manf/target/harveys/food lion/ save a lot and publix coupons. Spent $45, saved $92, only $40 of which was from coupons (still great, but the majority of savings was from the bogo prices and since the regular price is usually $0.10 higher where I live than the prices listed on this site and MUCH higher than I could get at Walmart, it can be deceiving). I bought yogurt, cheese, lunch meat, half loaves of bakery bread, lettuce, tomatoes, fully cooked bacon, chex mix, nuts, gravy mix, frosting, soup, napkins and stouffer froz meals. Not the kind of haul that can feed a family of four for the week, but I only focused on the sales, cause I have meat in the freezer, cereal in the closet, pasta and sauce in the pantry, etc.

There are also a lot of websites/blogs that provide coupon shopping information.

          Hope this helps :]

        • Dana

          Dawn,

I live in SW FL, I just started following this site and really “COUPONING” about 3-4 weeks ago. My freezers & Pantry & Linen Closet are already very FULL! I was at Publix last night, spent $21.27 and saved $83.95. I only shop for the best sale items and items that aren’t on sale but I HAVE to have (which are very few & even these I use my coupons and compare prices/brands for the best deal). I bought these Advertised Specials: Progresso Soup, Betty Crocker Frosting, Del Monte Fruit Chillers, Glade Candles, No Yolks Noodles, Yoplait Yogurt Plus, Pillsbury Grands, Kelloggs Cereals – ALL on sale this week + coupons (& some Target Compet. Q’s for Cereal) — Also bought these “had to have” items not listed on sale but used Q’s: Lachoy Soy sauce on clearance (w/Q .25 ea!), Breakstone Sour Cream, Progresso Chicken Broth — Also bought these items at regular Price: Santitas Tortilla chips & Plum Tomatoes. Total Price:$105.22 Minus Q’s, Adv. Specials, Advt. Buys & In store Savings:$83.95 = $21.27 OOP = Savings of about 80% Not my best, but definitely a good trip!

        • Lisa

If you buy meat, dairy, fresh fruits and vegetables, then your savings are not going to approach 80% etc. unless you buy very little of them. You’ll notice that very few posts list buying these items in sufficien quantities to feed the average family for a week. This site has really helped me combine sales with coupons, with savings of about 50% to 60%, because my receipt includes meat, dairy and the fresh produce. In fact, since I’m saving more with coupons, I like to treat myself to some fresh produce I might not otherwise buy!

          • lisaallynn

This is so true, lisa. I keep forgeting that those really big savings that I hear about is mostly non-meat, produce, dairy items. I am saving 50 to 60% accross the board and that is what is important. My son is SO picky ( he is autistic/fragile-X syndrome and has sensory issues with different foods) so even when something is on sale or free with overage I can’t get him to switch brands! LOL I CAN’T tell the difference to save my life, well, he can in a instant.

The take home lesson for me is that all of this saving can become an obsession to me. I have to do a reality check about twice a week.

Oh, by the way, has anyone noticed that people who don’t coupon, really don’t like to hear about all of our savings. I have been called more than once…” oh, your one of those people.” Of course, I have no intention of stopping, so whatever.

      • DeeDee

I shop the sales at Publix. Stacking my coupons with the sales and get the best price I can. Most anything else that we need is purchased at Walmart. With out a sale, they usually have the better price.

But, a previous poster is correct in that you need to shop the sales and stock up. Build a stockpile, so that you begin to limit the amount of items that you purchase at regular price. “Someday” that should be things like eggs, milk, meat… (although meat has coupons at different times, for different items)

    • DeeDee

There are $2 peelies on Sorrento cheese (at least in South FL) again.

My local stores have a new sign in the window that states they accept competitor coupons. As of last week, that included Target and Walgreens. We’ll see if that changes…

    • mw

Thanks for all you do Jenny!

I don’t see the juicy juice coupon in the June All You issue…..anyone else found it? thanks.

    • Janet

The Greenville area Publix no longer take Food Lion or Target coupons.

      • ET

Target is now price-matching competitor’s ads and they consider Publix a competitor even if the reverse is not true. So take your Publix ad to Target and stack your coupons there, at least that is what I plan on doing! I don’t know if it will work with BOGO’s though…. Just an idea….

        • Courtney

They will only match a price not a sale…ie no BOGO or 50% off. Only if the price is listed and you must take the entire ad in the store. HTH I guess I will be doing the same since our store is no longer doing Target or Food Lion even though they are less tan 10 minutes away!

          • marina

            Does Target double coupons?

            • me

              no

      • Jenni

Thanks for the tip. I was planning a trip to the Woodruff Rd. or Five Forks Publix stores. *sigh* Target is ten minutes away on the SAME road. One would think that makes them competitors. Does anyone know if the Moore Publix might accept them? Or Simpsonville? They are even closer together there.

    • Janet

Where do you get the All You magazine?

      • rydergal

The magazine is available only at Wal Mart or through a subscription (I think you can order a sub through Amazon.com, or directly through All You)

      • susan

You can order all you from the Southern Savers website and then Jenny gets credit for the sale! Let’s help Jenny out! That’s the least we can do for ALL that she does! Thanks Jenny!

        • Diana

I didn;t know that thanks for the info.

        • Jenni

Thanks for the tip. I’m new to the site and was wondering about this.

    • Shannon

      Thanks Jenny!

    • Help! I can’t find the coupon for Krusteaz muffin that is on sale at Publix. It says it should be in SS for 10/11. Has anyone else found it? Thanks!!!

      • Michelle

No, I couldn’t find that one either!

    • Amy

I can’t find that one either plus I need one for the Betty Crocker cake mix! Does anyone know of a link?
      Thanks!! :)

    • Courtney

Just an FYI…the Cumming location(Lanier Place) off Exit 17 will no longer accept any competitor coupons after Nov 14 EXCEPT Ingles and Kroger. They have posted signage at each register and the cashiers were instructed to tell all customers. Boo Hoo…also they do not have the Holiday Savings booklet in yet (or so the CSM says :-))

    • I just love Publix and this site! Thanks Jenny for ALL that you do! I just can’t imagine paing full price again. Without this we would be so food poor! lol. Thanks again and thanks for publix for being so great! God bless all!

    • Lisa

Does anyone know if Publix will take Walgreens coupons? I’m in northern FL and there’s a Walgreens coupon for $5/$25 and I was wondering if Publix would accept this or not.

      • Melissa

Went to publix in Valdosta GA today. Used a CVS $5/$30, on top of Walgreens $5/$25, on top of Rite Aide $4/$20. Love my Publix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Total $60.36 Spent $8.98

        • Michelle

wow…that is awesome! Our publix does NOT let you stack money off coupons and, now they have started only letting us use one money off competitor coupon per day.

        • Tara

I worked at the Valdosta store for 9.5 years and it is a GREAT store.

I think the total should have been at least $75 to be able to do that. I think this was a cashier that just didn’t pay good attention. I know it was awesome to save that much money but I do worry that if we all take advantage of Publix’s generosity with coupons that eventually they won’t be able to be so generous. Not putting anyone down just throwing out something to consider.

          • Melissa

My intentions are never to take advantage of anyone. I’m new at this and I did ask a cashier if I could use all three and she said yes b/c they were all from differnet comp. as long as my total after each q stayed above that amt that they could take off for. I Love doing the right thing and if they would have said I couldn’t do it I would have had no problem. FYI everything I bought went to my church pantry. And my tolal was lower b/c I had other q’s. GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!

          • Melissa

Also I went to Harveys yesterday to get a 440.00 money order. Got home and realized that I had 80.00 in my wallet and only should have had 40.00. Went back to Harveys talked to the manager she pulled the girls drawer to see if she was short sure enough she was. Gave them back there 40.00. I’m all about doing the right thing not many people would have done that but I know there is a higher power watching. So God Bless Everyone. And thanks Jenny you’re the best!!

      • Phyliss

I used the Rite Aid $5 off $25 at the Lynn Haven, Fl store last night.(My sister tried these last week and they wouldn’t take them.) She said I could use up to 7 Q’s, but I only took 6 with me. That was $30 off right off the top!!!I spent $102.52 and saved $188.99. This was my second week so I am tickled with my savings. The manager was at the register talking to me and the cashier. I asked him about a couple of the booklets, but he hadn’t seen them.

      • Lisa

Does anyone know if there’s a Publix in Tampa that will take CVS or Walgreens coupons or rewards? I asked at two stores and they won’t take them. Only Super Target and Albertsons. (I’m a different Lisa!)

        • Dawn

I live in brandon and the Publix on causeway doesn’t take them. There is also another publix up the street from where I live but I haven’t had a chance to ask them yet. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

        • Jean

Mine does not take Target, CVS or Walgreen coupons. I am in North Tampa. They will take Food Lion and Albertson’s coupons, however.

          • Lisa

They take Food Lion even though that store is not in Florida? Thats great! I’m going to try that. I’m in North Tampa too; which store takes the Food Lion coupons? Thanks!

      • Andrea

So what you are saying is that you can use the $3/15 Rite aid coupon printed off of coupons.com at Publix. Even though it starts at the top that it is a rite aid coupon. I guess I have been missing this all along. Can someone correct me if I am wrong on that?

        • Kathleen

every Publix will have different policies regarding taking comeptitor coupons. My Publix will take the $/$$ from stores like Rite Aid, CVS if I am buying items that can be purchased at those stores, so, not fresh food. I did use one to buy candles one time and another time to buy Tylenol, before the “free” w/ coupons prices last week.

Call all the Publix that you can get to and ask specifically about the competitors by name.

          Hope that helps. :]

      • Carolin

I hope that you are able to find one. I live in Jacksonville and have tried several different Publix without any luck. I’ve asked if I can use more than 1 $5/$30 coupon if my total is 60 or more and have been told no. So I usually do different transactions. Sorry I wasn’t able to help. Hopefully someone will have good news for both of us.

    • Susan

there also was a $1 off 2 Kraft cheeses that I printed at some time from Smart Source i think. combine that with the FL 50c coupon for even cheeper Kraft cheese.

      • Susan

“cheaper” not “cheeper”- ha,ha that’s what 3 boys 3 and under will do to you- & lack of sleep!

    • There are several dates that you have posted that haven’t even gotten here yet. One of them is RP 11/15

      • Lisa

Those coupons will be in this Sunday’s paper. If you can wait until Sunday or next week to shop, you will be able to clip and use these coupons. She’s giving us a heads-up :)

        • meg

For those of us who get the AJC, the Thursday sale paper also usually has the coupon sections that you get on Sunday as well.

    • Alison V.
    • Angela

Does anyone know if the Pompeian Olive Oil is the Extra Virgin? They seem to do the two kinds on separate sale weeks. I desperately need some and this is my favorite brand. Thanks!!

      • Natalie

No it is only for regular and extra light tasting so I passed on it this week

    • Lisa

There’s a $1.00 off Pillsbury Grands Biscuits Q on the southernsavers home page so you’d only have to pay $0.50 each. Much better than the coupons listed above.

      • AmyN

I couldn’t access it or find the ad to click on. Any suggestions? Thanks.

        • michelle

click on the muffin…in the top banner. the muffin will rise up and then click on it.

    • Lisa

You can get a Yo-Plus free if you buy an Activia. Here’s the link to the form http://yoplus.com/guarantee.aspx. There’s a coupon in the SS 11/1 for $1/2 Activia. Maybe Activia will go on sale soon and this will be an even better deal.

    • Heather

Could someone please explain the soft soap deal to me? I see the price is .79 – .40/1 = .39 not free. Is that a typo or am I missing some detail?
Thanks to all of you for your help and thank you thank you thank you Jenny for all of your hard work!

      • meg

Publix doubles coupons under .50 the .40 becomes .80 !

        • michelle

thank you for explaining that…i was wondering too. unfortunately my publix doesn’t double. (south florida)

          • Heather

I never noticed them doubling at my store in Pensacola, FL. I also never noticed it posted anywhere that I do. I will have to ask about that today when we go. Thanks for the clarification. I was scratching my head:-)

            • Jenny

              Heather,

They do not double any coupons in Florida stores. Sorry.

    • me

good Lord take it easy. I can’t afford for Publix to go out of business, no need for anyone to take advantage of their leniency with coupons!! their deals aren’t good enough without that kind of nonsense???

      • me

this was in reply to melissa who used 3 different $/$ qs that didnt even add up to her total bill.

      • Morgan

Are you the same ‘me’ who said it was ok to steal peelies off other products that you are not purchasing?

        • Melissa

Thanks Morgan I was wondering the same thing!!!!
I did ask before I did that transaction and the cashier said yes, cant’argue with her.

        • lisaallynn

          lol!

    • Amber

I’ve been using this site to save tons of money for about 6 weeks. I had an unusual thing happen last night (at least for me) and I’m not sure if this has been addressed somewhere else. At Publix (central FL) I had 2 products (Tylenol and Purely Decadent Ice cream) and 3 coupons(a store & man. for the Tylenol and a man. for the ice cream). The 3rd coupon wouldn’t accept- said invalid coupon and the cashier got the manager. He was very nice and overrided the computer. He said the computer won’t accept more coupons than there are items. Has that always been the case? It was a new experience for me.

      • AmyN

That is always the case, however, a manager just puts in their code, and you’re good to go.

      • Atl Shannon

        Amber,
This happened to me last night (and happens often). What I try to do (if I remember) is to grab some small items so that the manager doesn’t have to come override the computer. I usually get garlic, purified water (never coupons for this, so I use as a filler), a tomato, banana, etc. Sometimes I don’t care and let the manager come override. But if I want to get out of there or if the store is at a busy time, I get “fillers” that have no coupons so that my number of items matches or exceeds the number of coupons I have.

      • Dana

Happens to me too, most managers will just override it no problem, but a few get picky or are unaware of the policy and insist that if it was ok the computer would take it.

I just started doing all this and was never really a problem (even if they aren’t always happy about it) until last night. BUT a positive, polite attitude very quickly resulted in the manager personally re-ringing my order, just to make sure they got it right and hand keying my last few coupons to allow me my total savings.

I LOVE MY PUBLIX!!! I will however try to throw in a few “Filler” items from now on just to avoid the hassle, especially since the cashiers are usually so friendly and quick to help! Why make their job harder when I’m already saving so much!

        • Amber

          Thanks for the info.
My Publix has been great- I didn’t have a problem and the manager said it was no big deal. I just wasn’t aware of the policy. Next time I’ll definitely grab a filler item. I’ve never had the problem before because I use the coupons with my weekly shopping of a million items. So much to learn and so much to save!

          • Dana

Went again today for more great deals. I had 28 items & 37 coupons. I threw in enough extras that I needed anyway and had NO PROBLEMS! I bought 2 apples & 2 Tomatoes & 1 onion(put them all in seperate bags at opposite ends of the belt so they rang in as 5 items total)& 4 packages of Koolaid. That way I had the same items as coupons and didn’t have to have a manager! YAY!!! LOL

    • KJ

My 11/8 RP had -$1/1 Chinet too. Since the IP caps you at 2, this was a way for me to get more FREE Chinet. :)

      • KJ

Woops – Its Vanity fair in the RP. I got over excited for “Free”!

    • aNnOn

I found a peelie on boxes of Rice Krispies: buy 2 boxes of Rice Krispies get marshmallows free in Chattanooga.

      • DeeDee

My Crispix has ‘save 2.50 off Cheez It crackers when you buy 2’ peelies. Made the smaller size box of crackers about 64 or 84 cents.

    • Ivy

My Publix, don’t know if it’s all, has Rotel BOGO $1.09. I live in Madison, AL. We use Rotel alot, but at $1.09 a can, I try to wait for a deal. Well, here it is. They’re $0.55 a can.

      • LD

There is a .50/1 on smartsource for rotel too. and the all you mag had coupons i think in sept for a 1.00 off 4 and there was one in the inserts not to long ago .

    • Andrea

Can the Huggies in-ad coupon in the Publix flyer be used at any other stores or just Publix? Can it also be stacked with the $1.50 off coupon from food lion or any other Huggies manufacturer coupon?

      • LD

I have not seen the coupon yet. If it is a publix coupon, and if stores in your area, accept competitors coupons you can . At Publix you can use a manuf. coupon with a store one on anything. At our store you can only use 1 store coupon and 1 manuf. coupon per each item you buy . Unless it is one of the competitors store coupons that say one per person [food lions has this] then you can only use one each trip . Hope that made sense

      • I did this exact transaction today. I purchased a box for $19.99 and used a Publix coupon for $5/1, Food Lion coupon for $1.50/1 and manuf. coupon for $2/1. No complaints from the casheir but the manager did have to come key it in. I guess to much $$ off requires a manager. She keyed it in with no problem!

    • Kelly

I cannot get coupons from coupons.com to print from my computer… SmartSource works. Is there any other way to get them?

    • Esmelda

Target sent out a home mailer recently that has $1 off Stacy’s Pita Chips and $1 off 4-pk or larger DanActive (both Target coupons). That will make both those free if you have the manufacturer’s coupons that are posted (and provided your Publix considers Target a competitor).

      • Katie

How did you get a home mailer from Target? Do you sign up at the Target website?

    • Joanne

Anyone in the Birmingham area find the Winter Savings book yet?

      • Colette

Found the booklet today at the Publix on Hwy 150 in Hoover. It was in the turnstyle as you go inside the store (where the weekly ads, green and yellow booklets, etc. are located).

    • Bonni

My Publix in Murfreesboro has started to not double the coupons when it says on the coupon “do not double.” For example, on the Steamers this week they wouldn’t double the coupons and on the Betty Crocker Potatoes last week they wouldn’t double the coupons. Just something to watch out for because products won’t be quite as good as a deal.

      Bonni

      • stephanie

I called my store in Mount Juliet, TN about it and they told me that same thing. I asked them was this something new and he said no. In the past they took every coupon and doubled whether it said “Do Not Double”. I am sad about this but still good deals out there. I wonder why they are getting tough on it now.

        • Jeanne

I had the same thing happen to me tonight. When I asked about it they manager said that this was always suppose to be the policy. It only affected me buying frosting which was still a good deal. This happened at the one in ballentine in SC? Anyone else have this problem in this area?

          • Sofia

Yes happened to me on Wednesday:(

      • Leslie

I also shop in Murfreesboro, at two different publix locations. This has happened to me a couple of times, but not always. I think it depends on the cashier. I have learned which cashiers to try and get :)

    • Aaron

My cashier wouldn’t let me use two of the $2 off Dove coupons. She said I couldn’t use the coupon on the “free” one. I think she was just frustrated with me for having too many Q’s. My favorite cashier was in the less than 10 items lane :(. She probably would have let it go through. Just a heads up.

      • Sebastian’s Mommy

My cashier did the same thing with me. I insisted that it was okay because I was buying 2 Dove’s even though one’s price was technically $0.00.

She continued telling me no so I asked for her to ask the manager. He came over and said yes with a shiny bright smile. : ) Yay for me.

Jenny, I love the new grocery list check boxes! I do have one teeny suggestion…(as if you should cater to our every whim on top of all you do for us–ha!): I wish the B1G1 items were included in the category sections instead of by themselves (maybe with “B1G1” with the price quote so we would know?). When I use the printed lists to shop, I have to do a lot of flipping back and forth, but if the items were listed under their grocery category (Frozen, Household, etc.), it would be much quicker and easier. Just an idea, but it’s great the way it is too if that’s too much trouble! Thanks for everything, Jenny!

      • I LOVE the BIGI being seperate…those are pretty much all I shop for at Publix! When you click “create your shopping list” there are options on the next page to add items in each category. You could just add a note for each BIGI that you are getting under the specific category. Hope that helps!

        • Dana

I agree, I LOVE it being seperate since this is also almost all I buy. I do see how it would be easier to have it in the other area too, but I like it being the first thing I see. Thanks!

Teton Valley Ranch Potatoes 26 oz., at $3.99 ($1.99)
      $1/1 Baked potato variety http://www.tetonvalleyranch.com/Promotion.aspx

      • Jenni

Some of the packages also had peelies on them a week ago for 1$ off one package. They might still be there. (because I’ve already mentioned I sometimes take peelies, let me make an example here: I took ONE peelie, and left all the rest on the packages, which must have been about 6 packages or so, and they were not on sale at the time. I will be buying them this week, from the same chain, if not the same store… IF there are any left (I usually have to get a rain check these days).

        • me

omgz you STOLLLLE a peelie??? shame!!!

          j.k
          :D

    • jessica

There is a $5 off enfamil coupon printing at target. And a buy one can enfamil get one pack of individual packets free baby club publix coupon. So basically I got a large can of formula and a pack of 16 individual packets for $12!

    • Jodi

3 things: The Publix on Pleasantburg in Greenville, SC does not take any Target coupons. Also, there was no in-store dispenser for the Kellog’s cereals that are on sale. I did get a great deal on the Kikkoman, I used the B1G1 Q online, also used the $1 off (2), plus one of the bottles I bought had a .55 off coupon! 12 cents each! Gotta love that!

      • Lisa

How can you use so many manufacturer coupons on one transaction?

        • Tiya

On the Kikkoman, I used the B1G1 and bought the Ponzu sauce which was 2/$3. I also used a $1 off q from Smartsource so 2 bottles for $.50. Also, I noticed the Save-A-Lot coupons are not listed on here for the Kellogg’s products. I was able to use $1 off coupons and get a good deal on the cereal even though they wouldn’t accept Target q’s. In Anderson, our price for the cereal was $3.81 so I saved a little more. Thanks Jenny! I love the site!!

    • Tina

hey, is there any ocala shoppers on this site?

    • JENNY! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!

    • Kelly M

Random question for Florida couponers. I am visiting my Mom in Madeira Beach (St. Pete area). What are the rules here and what is the best Publix to go to? I was told I don’t get to use two coupons on two bogo items?

      • Jean

Yes, you can use two coupons for BOGO. I am in Tampa.

        • danielle

We can use 2 coupons for each bogo. We can stack Publix with manufactures coupons. At “my” Publix in Seminole they will not take Target, Walgreens, Cvs,… But they will take Save alot and GFS and the occasional Foodlion. BTW Chinet had Peelies on them today which helped out since I could only print 2 coupons.

      • Tara

In the Miami area you can NOT use two coupons on the BOGO offers. If anyone knows of a store in this area that does accept two please let me know. Honestly, don’t know about the rest of FL.

        • AmyN

I understand in North Central florida they are revisiting their coupon policy, so that all stores (in NC FL??) are on the same coupon policy. Some of my stores will take two coupons on a BOGO, and some will not, so they are meeting to get all stores on the same page – I’m anxious to see how it turns out.

          • lisaallynn

oh no! I hope they don’t change the policy and not let us use two coupons on the bogo! What a nightmere…..

      • Kelly M

Thanks. I only asked a cashier at the Mad Beach Publix. What Publix in Seminole do you go to? I am just as close to the one at Seminole Mall and will go there if they will give me less greif.

    • Brenda L.

Will the Food Lion printable double since it is $0.50? I noticed that the price listed does not reflect it being doubled.

      • Jenny

They will not double any competitor coupons, just the manufacturer coupons.

    • Rosemary

      Jenny,
How can I e-mail you a question??? I can’t find where to contact you! HELP!!!!

    • Robert

So, if you have an MFR buy one get one coupon, can you use it on a Publix BOGO?

      • Kathleen

Yes!! In Florida, the register rings up the items at the regular price, then automatically deducts the price of the second item. Technically, that is Publix giving you that savings, so the item was “purchased”. With a bogo coupon, you will get the cost of the first item deducted as well, since you “purchased” two.

This is an advantage for places where the bogo is truly a bogo and does not ring up each item at 50% off, so it somewhat balances that we do not get coupons doubled up to $1.00 here!!

    • Jackie

There’s also a $2 off coupon for Zantac in the Walgreens November booklet!

    • sharon

I may be a little late for this, but all of you that are concerned about the amount of ink (and,of course the expense of it)- I have been using a Continuous Ink System (CIS) for about a year and a half now. It is wonderful! I can’t begin to tell you how much money I have saved. And, no, I don’t sell them at all. I got mine from eBay. Feel free to email questions, but just google it. There is a ton of info. Just buy the initial set for about the price of 2-3 cartridges of ink and you are set for a year.

      • LD

Thanks I was wondering about this . I have tons of questions lol but will try to google and see what I come up with . My biggest hurtle will be to get that amount of money together at once.

    • I was able to get the 213ct. Huggies Wipes for $2.99. Sale price was $5.99, I used $0.50/1 Food Lion Coupon (found the link here on SS), $1.50/1 Publix Home Mailer Baby Coupon and a $0.50/1 manuf. coupon (which doubled) from a SS insert a few weeks back (also available in Huggies home mailers).

    • Colette

In response to Joanne’s question about the Winter Savings booklet in the Birmingham area — I found the booklet today at the Publix on Hwy 150 in Hoover. It was in the turnstyle with the weekly Publix ad, yellow and green booklets, etc.

    • Carrie

      Jenny,
Thank you for your hard work. My husband could not believe that we walked out of publix with a cart FULL of groceries for $88.00.

    • lydia

    • lauren

I am new to southern savers, and I was wondering why when I try to print some manufactures coupons from their sites, it says “fradulent attempt to print, must be printed from smart source enabled website” ??? I have no more trouble shooting ideas!HELP!

      • Michelle

Try to go directly to the site to print. That usually happens to me when I hit the back button to try and print my second one. But if I go back to the beginning it will let me print it.

    • amy

Just letting everyone know … Publix has changed their coupon policy to not double any coupons that say Do Not Double. Didnt know about this until I went last night to purchase a can of frosting and used my internet coupon. She pushed some button that said suppressed. So I just told her to put it back, I could buy it somewhere else. Was not aware of the change until now. HTH, they have set there registers up to comply with these coupons.

      • km

The ‘bonus suppress’ button has always been on the registers and cashiers should have been doing it all along….probably with the increase in couponers and the economy being so bad, the customer service ‘corporate’ folk have ‘gently reminded’ the store managers to utilize this button (since it saves them money).

      • Natasha

Yeah I had that happen too… That is why I prefer coupons.com to smartsource, because all my smartsource coupons say do not double on them…. oh well!

        • Joy

If a coupon says “Do Not Double” then the cashier is only following directions. It’s always been store policy, they are just tightening up b/c they are loosing $.

    • Dana

I sooo new to this whole couponing thing so please forgive my ignorance . . . When I look at the Del Monte Fruit Cup BOGO deal and then on this website it’s listed with $1 off printable coupon (makes it 31cents) I’m having difficulty in figuring how it makes it .31 cents it’s not adding up for me. The same with the Fresh Steamers wherein it’s stated as making them free to 19 cents. Can someone breakdown the math for me on these 2? I figured all the others out . .

      • Kathleen

        Hey Dana,
Here is the deal as listed:

Del Monte Fruit Cup, Fruit & Gel, or Fruit Chillers, at $2.63 ($1.31)
-$1/8 Del Monte Vegetables, or Fruit Cups RP 11/15
-$1/5 Del Monte Fruit Cups RP 9/20
-$1 off Del Monte Fruit Chillers printable (makes it 31¢ ea)

The $1 off coupon for the fruit chillers can be printed by clicking the link, selecting the coupon (this is a red plum link), print. You can print this 2x, by going back to the site. Now you have 2 $1 off fruit chillers coupons that you can use for each of the boxes in the bogo deal.

Since you are getting the two boxes for $2.63 before coupons, deducting $2 for 2 $1 coupons = total $.63 for 2 boxes or $.31 ea.
So, the $.31 price for each is ONLY for the fruit chillers part of the deal.

        :]

      • Kathleen

        For the fresh valley steamers:
Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers, at $1.89-$2.39 (90¢-$1.19)
-.50/1 Green Giant Valley Fresh SS 11/15, 10/4 or printable or here
(makes it free to 19¢ ea)

the prices listed after coupons are only valid if your area doubles…

you will get 2 items for $1.89 ea w/the bogo before coupons
if you use a .50 coupon that gets doubled, this will deduct $1.00 per item…

for FL where there is no doubling .. we can use 2 x .50 to get $1.00 off the 2 items paying ~$.89 for 2 or ~$.44 ea

Jenny does the math for the majority who do get doubles!!

      • Dana

thank you! That makes total sense – hopefully I’ll get the hang of this!

        • Kathleen

absolutely, you will get the hang of it! I started at the end of April and now I can look at the post and quickly do the math for the q’s I have. I like to print out the list and do a little notation next to each item: # of items/# of q’s, than an estimate on how much I’ll be paying for the total # of items I’ll after all $ deducted from coupons. This way I know about how much actual $ I am spending before I go to the store.

Welcome to the world of couponing :]

    • Nancy

I went to Publix today first time using Southernsaver.com and WOW i spent $82.08 and total savings was $159.71! I asked the Manager at the store about the Food Lion coupon and he took it, as long as it had the bar code on it and he said there was a Food Lion within 5 miles. I’m so proud of myself and want to thank the one who does all this work to save me and my family money on groceries!

    • Michelle in Martinez

I just wanted to share the weird email I got from Publix, responding to my inquiry asking if they could send me one of each of the current coupon books (since my stores never have them), and I offered to pay the postage. This is what the reply was:

Thank you for your email. We appreciate our customers taking the time to contact us. In regards to your inquiry, we were informed that the majority of the coupon booklets have expired.

Again, thank you for taking the time to contact us. If we can be of any further assistance regarding this matter, please either call our Consumer Relations toll-free number at 1-800-242-1227, write us at the Publix Super Markets Corporate Office, PO Box 407, Lakeland, FL 33802, ATTN: Consumer Relations, or contact us at our website, publix.com and mention your reference number, # 672252.

      Sincerely,

      Leslie Spencer

So I guess that is their version of a shoulder shrug? I know from the info posted here at southernsavers that there are current coupon books out. It just seems so out of line with their usual excellent customer service!

      • Amy

I had the same reply over the phone. They said they might just once send me one of the books but by the time I get it the coupons will probably be expired. I guess the coupons are bothering them and they do not want to deal with them. Wish it were easier to get a booklet. I can barely find one much less more than one of each. I find about 1 out of 10 that I read about and I go to the store 3 times a week!

        • Michelle in Martinez

I haven’t seen any in the store the past two months! I had suggested they put them in the newspapers, like with the SS and RP inserts, that way everyone could get one, but I guess for whatever reason they don’t want to. Why even have coupons if you’re not going to give them out? :-(

    • Sara

On coupons.com I was able to print a coupon twice. The number above the longest barcode is the same on both coupons…does that make 1 of them “fraudulent”? The number under the funny looking barcode in the top right corner is not the same on both coupons. How do I know if it is considered a duplicate?

      • LindaB

They are both legitimate. They usually let you print two.

      • Kathleen

the funny looking barcode w/the different numbers underneath lets the company know that they are separate coupons. So, when they eventually get to the manufacturer, they will not be seen as fraudulent.

        • Sara

          Awesome! Thanks.

    • Mandy

HELP! Is anyone else frustrated with the linked coupons printing “DO NOT DOUBLE” on them? I’m paying more for these items, with my coupon, then the final price Jenny has listed. Is anyone else having a problem with coupons.com & smartsource coupons? Thanks!

      • Sara

Mine all say “Do Not Double” on them also…this is my 1st week of trying to be coupon savvy. I have not checked the coupon from the Sunday paper yet. Does the 11/15 mean it will be in this Sunday’s ad and you combine it with the printable one?

        • Mandy

the 11/15 mean it will be in this Sunday’s paper. However, you can only combine a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon. Hope this helps! (Publix is not doubling the coupons that have “DO NOT DOUBLE” printed on them!

          • Shannon in ATL

I was lucky today, mine were doubled…used the green giant and chex coupons, used them the target coupons for great deals!

            • Melissa

Mine are always doubled too. It looks like their system automatically doubles anything under $.50 here.

    • martha

I can’t find the Food Lion Coupon for the Cherios Cereal.

    • Upstate Michelle

I had a question… the link for the Coffeemate coupon is to the coupon (dot) com website, but I do not see a Coffeemate creamer coupon there. Can you guys tell me what zip will work? Thanks!
Also, thank you so much JENNY for taking the time to post such a great list. I am a coupon newbie and while I am not saving as much as I see some of you guys doing… I am saving money and that is such a blessing to this SAHM.
      Thanks again~ Michelle

try 30701 it was there yesterday,

    • Debra

Thanks Jenny for all your listings, it sure is helpful. I just came back from Publix and was so happy with my savings. I ended up getting $94.84 worth of groceries for $24.91, it was so exciting. The cashier asked me where I got my coupons and I told her sundays paper, magazines, and printable coupon websites. She was amazed at my savings. I told her to watch for the bogo deals and use 2 coupons for both products and that I never go to the store without at least a face value coupon of 50 cents so that it doubles to a $1.00. The cashier told me she’s gonna start using coupons if you can save that much, I told her good luck and watch how much you save.

    • Debra

Question? Does Publix take save a lot coupons? I got a book recently and wasn’t sure.

      • Kathleen

Call your local Publix to ask, every store seems to be different. Ask them to tell you all the competitors they will accept. This can help increase your savings, a lot!!

      • Dianne

I have that coupon book. Those are MQs so they will work at Publix.

    • Devon

I love your comment about the receipt. Last week, I saved $105!!! Between B1G1 and your coupons, the cashier’s jaw just about hit the floor! Thanks for all you do!

    • Shari

Publix in Gainesville GA will no longer accept coupons from Target, Walgreens, RiteAid. They said that they will only accept true grocery store competitor coupons.

    • Michelle

I’m getting frustrated with my Athens, AL Publix, but I still love shopping and couponing there. Everytime I go in and shop, it seems they are giving me new coupon policies.

      1. They used to stack Publix coupons with Food Lion coupons, and now they will not. Okay, understandable….they are losing money there and they are gracious enough to accept Food Lion coupons (even though we don’t have one really close.). I’m cool with that.

      2. They no longer put advantage flyers out in the rack…you must go to customer service and ask for them. This really gripes me on one level, but on another level I know there are people who take stacks of them. So I have to take an extra minute to go and get one. I can deal with that (because it is likely to ensure I’ll get one if I get there quick enough). I ased for one today and they are already gone and do not expect to get anymore.

      3. I used to do two sets of transactions so I could use two Rite Aid coupons. Now, you can only use one money off coupon per day. This one gripes me a little because they really aren’t preventing me from using the coupons, they are just asking me to spend more gas money and come back more often. Not happy about this one, but I can deal…still thankful that they accept Rite Aid coupons:-). All you who can stack money off coupons for big transactions – be very thankful!

      4. Today, I am told that you can no longer use a B1G1 coupon along with another coupon. Okay, I’m really upset about this new policy. I went and got the Kikkoman Soy Sauce. I purchased four bottles and used (2) B1G1 and (2) .55 cent off peelies. The cashier rang it all up but stopped me as I was going out and explained that she had missed this and so was going to let me do it today, but that their new policy was to not allow the .55 cent off coupons for the two bottles I purchased (in order to get the two free ones). I am really upset about this one, because these are all manufacturer coupons – nothing doubled….they are fully reimbursed! I am happy that I got to do this today, but this means a big loss for me on baby formula coupons. I had Kroger B1G1 free and $10 off one (which before this policy I could have used together – again, no doubling and fully reimbursed by the manufacturer. I don’t get this one at all….and this one totally irks me. I think I will call Publix and ask someone to explain this new policy to me as it doesn’t seem to make sense.

I am glad I have had a great year at Publix but I see my coupon savings there dwindling fast. I just wonder what will be next….

      • Lisa

#4 makes sense to me. I never understood how people were allowed to use more than one manufacturers coupon item purchased.

        • Michelle

Did you mean one manufacturer coupon “per” item purchased? If so, that is exactly what I was doing….If you have a b1g1 free, you are buying two products. You use the b1g1 coupon for the free item and a regular coupon for the product you had to purchase to get the free one. Therefore you are buying two products and using two manufacturer coupons. I actually didn’t even know that this was possible before learning it here on this Web site.

          • Kayla

I work at Publix, and a BOGO coupon applies to both items because you have to buy one in order to get one free. Therefore, that is the only manufacturers coupon you are allowed to use for that pair of items.

            • Michelle

Well thank you for clearing that up…I knew that was the case when a product says save $$ with the purchase of two but did not realize that when it was a b1g1 free.

            • marina

From my understanding if both items are ringing up at 1/2 price then 2 manuQ are allowed. At least thats how I’ve been doing it and never had a problem.

            • lisaallynn

I had the same issue the other night after work. I wanted to do the Kikkomen soy deal, but I could only use the bogo Q not the 55/1 Q. I work for publix so I ask if a coupon is ok b/c I don’t want to get into trouble. It kind of didn’t make sense to me in the first place, but I am learning about this so I clear all questionable q’s at the start. I need my job and I don’t want to get anyone in trouble. I think that some of the cashers don’t even check my coupons b/c I work there, and that worries me b/c I could make a mistake so I ask. I am getting some really great deals, publix has the best sales. I had no idea. Thanks Jenny.

    • Peggy Jo

Thanks Jenny for the work you do and teaching me how to save using coupons. I started in mid Aug. and today at Publix I spent 52 cents and saved $105. Praise the Lord!!!

      • Michelle

Nice…I couldn’t get away with that at my Publix (if I get that low, they make me purchase more in order to cover the taxes). Way to go!

    • Diana

What is the All You Magazine and how can I get it. Thanks

      • Lisa

It’s in the magazine section at Walmart. You can also subscribe to it at sites such as Amazon.com etc. Before subscribing, you might want to look at a copy or two at Walmart to see if they have coupons for products you buy.

        • Diana

          Thanks Lisa :-)

    • Kelli

I am clicking on the printable Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers coupon and cannot find it anywhere. Is this coupon still good?

    • Dave

is anyone else having troubles printing coupons from Kelloggs.com? I keep trying to print rice krispies and it wont let me…and I cant believe there are no coupons for Betty Crocker cake mix…lol

thanks for doing this site. I have been doing this for 5 weeks now and the savings keep going up…last week it was over 180.00 saved and this week so far we have spent 27.00 for over 100.00 of groceries.

      • lovingaunt

Yes I had the same problem Friday night. I never was able to get them to print so instead of getting my cereal for 25 cents I had to pay 99 cents. I can’t complain too much though but really wish the site would have allowed me to print.

        • SeeLifeMarvels

Same with me last night & today. Q wouldn’t print, and then I couldn’t stack. But cereal for $.99 is still a terrific deal!

    • Heather

Wednesday (11-11-09) I found printable Publix q’s for Philadelphia cream cheese, maxwell house coffee, planter’s nuts, cool-whip, etc…I have since misplaced them and need to reprint, but now I can’t find them…does anyone know where to find these?

    • Jacob

More of general suggestion here. I am very careful about not wasting printer paper when printing out coupons. It is great when I can print out three different coupons from maybe three different sites by cutting and flipping over the unused portions of the paper. Most of the time a single coupon will print at the top of the page and perhaps followed by an ad to fill the rest of the page – this is the ideal situation. Other times it will be an ad first and then a coupon toward the bottom 1/3 of the page. And then other times the coupon will print exactly in the middle of the page – that’s the worst. Would it be possible to add a code next to the link that would indicate the coupon layout on the page that gets printed? Something like this maybe…

      UP – Upper page
      MP – Middle page
      BP – Bottom page

I know this is asking a lot, right! :-)
Thanks so much again for your hard work – saves our family lots of money.

      • donna

If I know I’m only printing out one coupon and it’s at the top and the advertising on the bottom I just click cancel after the coupon has been printed to not waste ink.

I cannot find the SS coupon for Oscar Meyer bacon. Was it supposed to be in today’s paper?

      • Amy

        Yes, it was in mine!

    • Stephanie

There is a $1.00 off Stacy’s Pita chips coupon in one of my inserts today. The insert doesn’t have a name, but the front page was a coupon for GoodNites.

      • Stephanie B.

I realized later it was the SS insert. Mine insert had some apart in the paper.

    • every time I try to print the coupons from Smart Source it only prints out the picture and not the coupon am I missing something? Please Help! Thank you I am somewhat new to this.

      • Phillis

Elizabeth you may need to install the latest version of your printer drivers. This happened to me and it took me several months to figure it out. Good luck.

    • Michelle

I lucked out on inserts today – I got two sets of inserts:-). I love when that happens! I had intended on purchasing multiple papers today anyway for the Velveeta coupon. This actually seems to happen to me a lot and I was wondering if anyone in Athens, AL area also sees this?

      • Phillis

You must have gotten the ones that I was missing today. I was short smartsource in two of my papers today. Bummer…

        • lisaallynn

I had the same problem with both of my papers. They were missing both of the inserts. I was still at work and my dear sweet cs manager let me switch them out! I was so worried that I was SOL. I think that we are haveing a problem with people taking them out of the papers! That or a mistake with the printer. I hope it is a mistake, I am getting too cynical. Working at Wal-Mart for 5 years did it! LOL.

    • Erinn

Stove Top Stuffing is on sale at Target for $0.79/ea. There are also several other necessity deals!

    • Susan

Do not know if someone has already mentioned this. Save-A-Lot’s web sight has manufactor’s Q’s, I just printed 1 for $1.00 off any Kellogg’s or Keebler product (except single serve), and $1.00 off 2 Breyers ice cream (not on sale now, maybe soon though). There are a few others, but these are the 2 I could use.

    • donna

So I’m going to venture out to Publix for the very first time tomorrow in Ooltewah and not quite sure about the process or their policy. If you shop at this one I would greatly appreciate the info!! Jenny suggested above on
      3. Publix accepts competitors coupons (you can stack with a manufacturers coupon and a Publix coupon)

Does this mean to use 3 (publix, man & competitors) on 1 item?

      • Kayla

It depends on the store. The one I work at doesn’t. At the end of the night, when we add up cashiers coupons, competitor and store coupons get added together so they are kind of the same thing.

    • Melissa

Great deals at Publix! They are my favorite store! The crew at the one on Memorial in Murfreesboro is great! I spent 23.00 and saved over 30.00! I’m going back tomorrow on my lunch break from work! I can’t wait to save more!

      • lisaallynn

The one across from Hastins? or the VA?

        • Melissa

I go to the one across from Hastings! I love that store!

    • pickensmom4

Thanks for all you do Jenny! I saved $122.00 at Publix this week. You make saving money so easy for us.

    • Brooke

      Iam new to Publix Help

I going on Publix Hurricane Creek E Brainerd Rd Chattanooga, TN I need to know what there rules are & Do they takes Walgreen RR?

    • Sara

I started doing my serious couponing last week when I heard about this site. Headed out Sunday to Publix to see what i could save using Jenny’s list…AMAZING!! Between B1G1 and my couponing, I saved $104! I had a great $5 off $40 purchase at Bruno’s that they let me use. I have always been a Wallyworld shopper…NOT ANYMORE. My OOP was $69.99!! A little more than I had calculated, but i ended up getting a couple more things like milk and some Greek Yogurt for my hubby. But you can’t argue with $104 savings. He was amazed…maybe he won’t mind my constant coupon clipping in the middle of the floor so much now. :) I just wanted to say thanks for all the tips and making it so easy to save a fortune!!

    • Sara

Also, I got the last Winter Savings booklet from the Publix in Pelham (Valleydale and Hwy 31). I was so excited!!

    • Julie

does anyone know that the muellers pasta would be 9.5 cents per 16ozs boxes…. I have only gotten a few but going back!!! before the sale is over!!!

Jenny you have saved me alot of money…. by now my food stamps would be gone however I have still over 250 left……

I saved 68 out of a 82 order saturday…. only 14.54 for 82 bucks worth of food…. going to start blogging its so easy!!!

hey does anyone know where I can get a I love PUBLIX bumper sticker???

    • Jonathan

Once again, coupons listed in SS & RP are NOT in my SS & RP inserts! Don’t have the Emerald Nuts coupon nor the Listerine coupon listed. This is so frustrating. The only coupons I ever get are the printable ones. Do they not put all the same coupons in the SS & RP inserts?
      HELP!!!!

      • Jenny

They do not put the same coupons in every insert. There are a lot of differences every week from one city to the next. I try to give you an idea of differences here each week.

    • Has anyone been told that Publix is no longer accepting coupons from Target? I live in Columbia, SC.

      • Tarah

Yes. I shop at the Publix on Gervais St. and they have never taken Target coupons. They told me it had to be a competitor Grocery store only.

      • Margie

Forest Drive has never accepted them. I’m pretty sure you have to live near a Super Target (with full grocery store) to count Target as a competitor.

    • jessica

here with the ATLANTA paper we got a glade coupon for 2.00 off in the parade mag. that will be free plus!:) yeah thank you for all you do

      • Dianne

Have you tried to use that coupon? It is for The Fragrance Collection candles and they are not the ones on BOGO.There are too many different product names out there! :) Let us know if it worked!

    • Donna Rubright

This is the listing for the sale at Publix

Iams Premium Cat Food 3.5-4 lb bag $5.99
-$1.50 off Iams Cat Food Pet Savings for all Seasons booklet (store coupon)
-$1 off Iams Food PG 11/1

I don’t know what that booklet is? Anyone know?

      • Dianne

That pet coupon booklet came out this summer. No longer available.

    • Tara

Our Publix flyer has Pillsbury Flour 5lb bags on sale for $1.49 a bag includes bleached, unbleached, bread, and self rising. I am excited for this because I bake all our bread. I’ll be stocking up on the bread flour because it is usually excluded when my Publix has sales on flour.

    • Tarah

There is a $2 on any product from The Fragrance Collection by Glade in this weeks Parade magazine.

      • Cindi

I bought 2 papers this Sunday and neither of them had the Parade in them. What a bummer.

    • Amanda

Don’t know if anyone saw it or not, but Target has a 1.00 off doritos coupon!

      • Kayla

It’s for the 17 oz family size bags. Not the ones that are BOGO. At my Publix I’ve had a ton of people trying to use these.

    • Jenni

I just called a local Publix, and their new, company-wide policy (for SC, at least) is that they accept competitor coupons from traditional grocery stores within a 5 mile radius of their particular store. It’s a totally reasonable policy, if you ask me.

Also, the particular store I called (Simpsonville) is currently still doubling coupons that say “Do not double” on them, even though for a time they were not. It’s per the store manager, as apparently they had a lot of very unhappy couponers on their hands. But this likely varies by store and by store manager.

      • Jenni

I called the Duncan, SC Publix, and they consider Bi-Lo, Food Lion and Ingles to be competitors. So at least they still take Food Lion store coups. I off to hopefully get some Cheerios at a good price!

    • Cindi

I just have to let everyone know how well I did at Publix’s this past weekend. My total bill was $161.95 By the time the cashier was done with all my coups, by total came to $60.85 I was so excited and the gentleman behind me ask how I did it, and of course I gave him this web-site. The cashier said she had seen people use coups before but I must be a pro. lol.
I told her that I had only be on this website for about 2 months. And without Jenny’s help it would have never been possible. Thank you so much Jenny. I have recently lost my job and this site has help to out food on the table. My savings on this trip came to $101.10.
Sorry, I just can’t believe I saved so much money. Wish I could share my receipt, but it is very long. I told my hubby I was going to frame it…..
      Thanks again Jenny

      • Beth

This is another Thank You Jenny! This week I saved $103.86 at Publix and only spent $60.43!! The people behind me in line this week were giving me dirty looks instead of asking where I’d found the coupons. I just smiled kindly at them because I could see the amount I was saving going up and up and up on the screen! Thanks for all your hard work!

    • Sara

Can’t wait to see the deals at Publix this week!!

    • Donna S

My first time venture to Publix yesterday was awesome!! Love the store and the people. They were so nice! It’s a little ways to it but I think I’ll try to make it out there more often!! Some prices were different from what Jenny posted and were even cheaper! I’m so proud of myself! Thanks Jenny, you’re the best!

    • I’m looking for a link that I believe I’ve accessed before on this site before that provided coupons/deals for Old Navy, Kohls, Huggies, American Eagle…etc. I’ve looked for it again and can’t find it. If someone knows what I’m talking about, can you please share the link or point me in the right direction? Thanks so much!!

    • Jodi

Quick question with regards to Target coupons…will Publix take them as a ‘store’ coupon? So can you use a man coupon and then a Target coupon (using it like one of the Publix coupons) on the same item?

This past week was great, saved $122 and change and spent $57, I had brought my neighbour with me as she was trying to get a feel for the couponing.

    • Arminda

Ok, I have a question. Sorry, I’m new to this, so I’m still feeling my way around. If I get the 5 Kraft Stovetop Stuffings and have the coupon for $2 off butterball turkey, and then I have a coupon for $2 off a butterball turkey alone, is the first coupon technically for the stuffing rather than the turkey? Therefore, letting me using both and getting a total of $4 off a turkey?

      • Lisa

I would say yes, you can use both coupons. The first gives you a discount for buying the stuffing, the second for buying the bird.

    • Monique

Publix credited my Walgreens Ricola coupon as a store coupon not manufacturer so it didn’t double. I didn’t check until I left the store. But I guess still a good price.

    • Joy

Can I just say, as someone who uses coupons, but not to the extreme, how incredibly irritated I am. Please, if you already know what the sale items are at a store and what coupons go with what deals, PULL THEM OUT AND MAKE A LIST AT HOME. Don’t come and stand in the middle of the store blocking traffic and flip through our enormous book of coupons, rude and ridiculous. And don’t clear out an item using all your coupons and rain checks leaving none for the person who only wants one or two of the item. Oh, and as someone who has a family member who works in the grocery industry, why don’t you try being a little nicer to the people who check you out. If your coupon doesn’t do what you think it should do it’s because it’s not supposed to do it. I.E, double. Please, have some respect for the rest of society who enjoys saving money.

      • Parker

Wow. How ironic that your name is “Joy.”

      • Joy I am always nice to the person who checks me out

      • Arminda

Well, first of all, what you’re referring to as the “extreme” is what I think we are all doing with this site. And why wouldn’t we? I would rather see someone who is on a tight budget using the coupons and matching them up to the best deals, rather than living off welfare, or if they’re already on welfare, doing this so they don’t resort to illegal ways of obtaining money. What would you rather have? Someone standing in front of you at the register with a billion coupons to save some serious money so they’re kids can have a decent Christmas, or maybe a new pair of shoes that they so desperately need, while annoying you and slowing you down maybe 5 minutes? Or would you rather that person rob your house while you’re out shopping, to come home to nothing? I would assume the first. Some people today have no patience anymore. Is 5 minutes really going to make your day that horrible? What ever happeend to patience being a virtue? And I have never been rude to a worker unless they were rude to me first. I think most of the people on this site probably know a think or two about humility, and kindness. After all, we’re here looking to save some money, and sharing POSITIVE ideas with each other. Every single person has had something positive to say on this post but you, so I think I can guess where the rudeness lies. Also, I am new to this whole couponing thing, and yes, my first trip to Publix, I WAS a little slow, standing there with my coupon organizer, seeing what matched up with my list. No, I didn’t stand right in the middle of the aisle or anything, I stayed off to the side of an endcap keeping from traffic, but something tells me this would have bothered you too. Isn’t there a golden rule that says, if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all?

        • Joy

i have no problem with people using coupons. i use them myself. but i go through them before i go to the store and make out a list so i know what i have and what i don’t have. i mean, doesn’t this site tell you what coupons go with what items so you can match things up before you get to the store? and if you give the cashier a hand full of coupons, great. just don’t argue with them if they tell you you can’t use one. that is what i am referring to. having a family member who works in the grocery business and who is constantly beat up by things like this i am a little sensitive, so excuse me for being upset. and even if a cashier is rude to you first, doesn’t mean you return it. take the higher road.. oh and leave some deals for the rest of society to take advantage of as well.

    • Stephanie in SC

Summerville SC publix no longer doubles coupons that say not to double :(

    • Joy

someone didn’t post the rest of my comment …. i have the right to voice my frustration as well …

    • Sara

Made a final trip to Publix for the B1G1 deal on Chinet napkins and Betty Crocker icing. Got 6 of the napkin packs, 1 icing, 2 20oz drinks as fillers…paid total $3 and some change! Nice. Thanks so much again for this website.

      • Diana

Does anyone know how I can do this? I only got 2 chinet napkins bc the computer will only let me print two. How do you get more like Sara?

        • Lisa

They have multiple computers and print two from each one.
