This will be perfect!  I just went to Target this a.m. and bought $50 worth of the $5 gift cards with the LEGOS on them.  The LEGOS are for my boys, the gc for me ;)

I never could find these… where did you find them? On one of the displays through the store? or at the registers? TIA :)

    • Debbiesc

So is Target open on Christmas???

    • Snowdogmom

Wow can’t even stop shopping on Christmas Day. I think some of us have lost the true meaning of Christmas.

      • AM

No. Some of us are in financially desperate enough situations that we NEED to get deals whenever we can.
Please do not judge people if you don’t know their situation.

        • guest

If you are that financially desperate, maybe you shouldn’t be shopping online- even if it’s a good deal.

          • Livvy

Your ignorance is appalling.  And as for feeling bad for all those people working on Christmas, you should be thrilled for them.  They actually have a steady job in this horrible economy.  Millions of people would absolutely LOVE to work on Christmas day if it meant they had a job to go to.

          • Deps212

Who are you to judge when and how someone spends their money?  It’s THEIR money and THEIR time, it doesn’t effect you in the least.

      • Ranna18s

They have had these deals several times the past month or two… so it shouldn’t be an excuse to shop on Christmas. It’s so sad that you can’t just spend Christmas with family.

        • Ranna18s

Then again, it looks like it’s a online deal… I still feel sorry for the people working the call center’s etc. like my sister.

        Not everyone celebrates Christmas though.

        • guest

Even if you don’t celebrate Christmas most of the men and women working do.

          • Anonymous

Well then they get some nice holiday pay in this tough economy! Good for them. Time with family should be important every day anyway.

    • Aimee

I am sad for Target workers.  They need to be able to spend the day with family and/or friends.  A deal is not worth making others have to work on a day that they should have off no matter your personal financial situation.  There are plenty of deals out there that allow you to spend very little on gifts all year long.

    • Sonia

Target is not open on Christmas.  This is online only.  In all honesty, its Christmas people…play nice!  My mom is a nurse and she used to work Christmas every other year.  Some people have to work on Christmas regardless, its how the world operates.  Technically are we on the computer instead of spending time with our family.  You guys enjoy the holiday however you want.  Its your holiday!  Merry Christmas.

    • Ginger

Gosh, everyone. Is this really the time of year to be getting snippy with people over every little thing? If people choose not to shop, that’s awesome. If people choose to shop, that’s fine, too. Who are we to judge whether someone is “too financially desperate to be shopping online?”
My husband is one of those unfortunate peole who works most every Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’s not that big a deal. Generally, they do slightly shorter shifts so that people can still spend a large part of the day with their families. Honestly, how much of that day off would be spent sitting in front of the TV watching “Christmas Story” anyway?
Anyhoo. I wish we were all a little better about embracing the basics. Peace on Earth, Goodwill to men!

      • my classmate’s step-sister makes $79/hr on the laptop. She has been unemployed for 10 months but last month her income was $8999 just working on the laptop for a few hours. Read more here…CashLazy.com

Merry Christmas all!!  Looks like this deal DOES NOT require a gift card.  It’s just available to everyone!  And it’s online too – so no need to call Target or go to a store.  Everyone wins?  Best wishes!

      • Lisa K.

Actually I think the deal does NOT work with a gift card – so you’re better off saving the gift card for clearance shopping tomorrow. :)

God bless you, Jenny, for keeping us up to date even during the holidays.  it is so nice of you to think of us during your down time today!  as i am laid up sick, and the kids are watching a new dvd, i am looking to see what sales are coming up this week!

    • Karmah5000

Hmm, I’d like to order a toy storage unit that’s well over $50, but it’s still listed as 17.99 for shipping at checkout.  I thought it was free past 50?
