One of the most awesome parts of Easter is teaching my kids all about the amazing love of Christ.  One way to teach them is through videos and songs geared just to kids.  Instantly that brings to mind VeggieTales.  They are loved by kids and adults of all ages, and in our house we can burst out into any number of songs at the drop of a hat!

For Easter VeggieTales has a new movie that was just released this March called ‘Twas the Night Before Easter.  Through the story kids learn the true meaning of Easter and what helping others is really all about. It is currently being carried at Walmart and, if you pick it up there, you will also receive a VeggieTales Easter Egg dye kit.

VeggieTales has partnered up with World Vision for the DVD release and the DVD contains a special feature with Bob and Larry encouraging child sponsorship through World Vision.  You can learn more about sponsoring a child through World Vision by going here.

VeggieTales also has other things that you and all of your family can enjoy together.  One of these is  Hosanna!, a new worship album full of songs sung by VeggieTales characters and kids.  The album features Grammy and Dove winning artists Amy Grant and Mark Hall from Casting Crowns.

(I remember girls in my dorm in college signing the theme song at the top of their lungs over and over again.  When I confessed I had new clue what this was, they then sat me down and made me watch at least 3 hours of movies.  Loved it ever since!)
