Thanks, Jenny! Finally a week where I can go to Wags and get a deal.

    • Cngaedk

So the scotch magic tape is free then right?

      • Minniedress

As far as I understand it, the tape and the glue sticks are completely free.  Both coupons are on the same pdf.

    • Veronica

I can’t figure out how to get on the list for the Walgreen’s home mailer. Anyone know?

      • guest

        Me too.

    • Grindle_s

my paper is not showing the $3 RR on LOreal :( i'll still buy it

    • Lzbacnik

Where do you get Vitamins and Supplements booklet?  I'd like to get the Viativ coupon.  thanks

      • MarySC

They are in a pamphlet holder in the vitamin aisle.

        • Lzbacnik

          Thanks Mary SC

    • Cngaedk

I might have missed it, but the Pure Silk shaving cream will be .99 with in ad coupon and there is a .80/1 coupon from 7/10 RP I believe. Makes it only .19 cents.

    • Sha08

When shopping at Walgreens, do you have to do separate transactions if you want RR from 2 different deals, or is it like CVS it will print multiple in one transaction?

      • Margoren

If they are different deals they should print in same transaction.

      • Mandyward67

you can buy them in one transaction. as long as they are different deals, you will get the RR to print for each deal.

    • TK

Anyone know the zip code for the Summer's Eve coupon?

      • Janell_wolfe

There is one on their website. just google summers eve and you can get the $2/2 coupon.

        • Kelly Valentine

          Coupon no longer available. Booo!

    • I got a $1 off Eggs or Produce wyb  2 Oscar Mayer Fully Cooked Bacon tearpad coupon from Publix a while back that expires on 7/31. The Oscar Mayer bacon will be 2/$6. Their dozen eggs tend to be cheaper than my area grocery stores. I think I got a deal!

    • Mallory_18_2003

    • FLmomof2

I don't like my local Walgreens they are always sold out of everything, no matter how early I go!!  I LOVE my CVS though…….they will price match Walgreens so I just do all my shopping there and they always have everything I need!  This way I get the deals from both places plus my purchases go towards my quarterly extra bucks and my beauty club!!  Cant go wrong with it!!!

      • Shannonw1983

i didnt know cvs did that, do they match after reg rewards?

        • FLmomof2

There are only a couple around here that price match……I live in Florida.  Like for example the Neutrogena thats on sale @ Walgreens it is BOGO 50% you can match that with the sale @ CVS for buy 2 get $5 ECB……makes for great savings!!

          • Martina

Florida, what city? I am in Tampa, and my Walgreens store is not very good, they are always sold out almost on everything and my CVS is the same. I never hear about price match at CVS

            • FLmomof2

I live in the panhandle of Florida…….near Pensacola.

        • FLmomof2

They match after the RR……if the item is $2 before RR and $1 afterwards they take the $1 price!  :)

      • Never heard of a CVS price matching.  mine won't accept competitor coupons or anything.

        • FLmomof2

I know there are only a couple of the CVS stores around me that will price match, not all of them.  I guess it depends on the management at the particular store?

        • Galveston 2000

          same here

      • Couponj

AGREE!!! One of the CVS stores in my area started taking Walgreens coupons… I'm hoping this is adopted by others.  I'm not sure if they take the RR's but they take the store coupons.

    • Veronica

I can’t figure out how to get on the list for the Walgreen’s home mailer. Anyone know?

      • Margoren

        Would like to know too…

    • SB Traveler

I thought I saw a coupon for Reynolds wrap / $.75 off that ended 7/31.  Anyone know what I am talking about?

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Unfortunately, that excludes all smaller size ones

    • Clineleann

Do all of their RR say Redeem at Walgreens only?? I read I can use them at commissary but all mine so far say only walgreens…

      • USMCcouponmom

They recently changed this.  I've always used mine at the commissary, but 2 weeks ago they changed.  I confirmed it with Walgreens.  They realized people were using them elsewhere and they were losing money.
Very frustrating for me, so less trips to Wags!  HTH

        • guest

Yes, you are right on that policy change.  I also shop at the commissary, but they will not accept manufacturer coupons that say “redeem ONLY at…”.  It was nice while it lasted!

          • USMCcouponmom

            yes it was!!!

    • Couponmom

I am finding that I am NOT finding most of the coupons you list on the different stores in The Sun News here in Myrtle Beach. I realize a lot of people are couponing now, so the companies seem to cutting back. I am using a lot of red ink to print the Sunday list each week, meaning there are a lot of missing coupons for me. Also, I have to check the papers carefully as there might not be any coupons in them.

      • Carol

I have found the same issues. I get the Sun News in Garden City. The coupons that are listed on this website under the variations sections do not match what I am finding. Who submits that information for the Sun News?

        • Couponmom

Carol, I find that it is better to go the gas station or up to the Dollar Tree at the Mall ($1.00 each there, but you have to go soon after they open) to get the papers. They ususlly don't mind my going through the papers to make sure the coupons are in there. I never assume that because one has them all will have them-learned that the hard way one week.

      • Jjfdv

I quit with the sun news.  I purchase the charlotte observer  and I always check for the coupons before I buy.

        • Babette711

I buy Sun News and Charlotte.  Every other week Charlotte I find huge variations in each paper.  Which is fine because I get different coupons.

    • Wooburne1

How can you use 3 coupons on the Viactiv Calcium Chews?
Viactiv Calcium Chews, 60 ct., $8.99

      -$3 off Viativ, in-ad coupon

-$2 off Viactiv Calcium Plus D soft chews (Walgreens coupon), 60 ct., Answers at Walgreens: Vitamins & Supplements booklet

-$2 off Viactiv soft chews dietary supplement, SS 5/08

-$1 off Viactiv soft chews printable

(use both store coupons & $2 off coupon, makes it $1.99)

      • Becuz the “in-add” coupon isn't really a Coupon.. It doesn't count towards you Coupon=items

    • Mkerryann35

I have a question. Walgreens have a slim saving booklet that you get from the store. Can you use (1) coupon from the booklet + (1) coupon from the ad in Sunday papers + (1) manufacturer coupon for that one item?

      • ireneY

You can, but the hand manufacturer's Q over first. Their registers are very finicky.

    • karen

      Thanks jenny

    • Jessica

Where are the monthly register reward deals printed?  I tried to get the cottonelle deal last week, and the guy at the register had no idea what I was talking about!

      • HI Jessice, Last week I also tried the cottonele and did not work. I got so confused and curious. SO i drove to different stores, actually 2 others Walgreens, and I  got the RR from cottonelle. If you did not get any, you should talk to the manager, if they can print you one, that would be great, if not, just return it. I did canceled the first one, because my main idea is to save money by getting the RR. I don't think the manager and cashiers know about UNADVERTISED DEALS. The same like Infant Book Care, at one store in my area, they think I am a bit crazy talking about INFANT BOOK CARE. But at the other stores, they have a bunch of them, they explained to me that not every store carry this INFANT BOOK CARE

    • There is no Scotch Magic Tape coupon in the link provided. :(

    • Priscilladef

Hi everyone I am new to couponing and am a bit confused… I was wondering if somone would please clarify as to how the item becomes free with the rewards from walgreens or cvs. Do you have to purchase the item first and then you receive the reward and then you can make a second purchase of the same item and that one is free? Thanks for any help received.

      • Hi Priscillia, I think its normal that you get confused, actually SouthernSavers is a good website for you to start. You can print on Scenario Idea on the page, Jenny has been good putting up everything together to minimize your Out Of POcket and still get item for cheap, free or even profit. She makes it easier for all of us.  You must also learn each store coupon policy to maximize your saving. Good Luck Pricilla. Don't be afraid to ask

        • Priscilladef

I appreciate the encouragement. it is very consuming to coupon but very worth it. I can say it's almost addicting lol. The thrill of seeing how well you can get at it. Also do you have any suggestions as to what stores are better for couponing, thanks for you reply :)

          • I love CVS. Beacause you can use 1 Manufacture coupon, 1 stores (if  you have one) 8and unlimited ECB..I don't really Rite AId, because they always run out with the stock even on the first day of the sale. I had a stack of rain check, but never got my item in stock. until i lost my binder yesterday. did you check my site?I love to get deals on Diapers. everyone different. you may want to set your priority needs, so you won't spend on a nything you don't need even if its on sale. unless they are free

            • Mysterious_Mentalist

              Spammer in disguise…..

      • ChrissyPunkin

You can look at it a couple of ways.  If you spend $2 and you get back a $2 reward, it's “like” you got it for free.  A better way to do it, though, is to “roll” the rewards.  You have to pay some out of pocket to get started, but let's say you take that $2 reward and use it toward something else that costs $2 and produces a reward.  Now, you're getting it for free–except for sales tax.  That's rolling.  It's tough to roll at Walgreens, though, because you don't want to use a reward to buy the same exact item that gave you that reward–it won't print the second time. So what you said is true, just not at Walgreens.  Just start small and get the hang of it and you'll see how easy it is after a while.  Good luck!

        • Priscilladef

Thank you so much for replying. I actually gave it a try today, a bit overwhelming. I did not understand the concept of filler items, the cashier was kind enough to tell me afterwards. Do you have suggestions as to what stores are a bit easier to coupon with? Thanks. :)

          • ChrissyPunkin

Walgreens is the hardest one.  It takes time to learn all of the rules and tricks, so just be patient.  The tutorials on this website are really good.  My favorite store is Rite Aid. They have the best store coupons (in-ad ones and video values) that you can stack with manufacturer coupons, and they offer a lot of total purchase coupons (like the $3 off $15 survey coupons that come on your receipt).  This isn't the best week at Rite Aid; next week (7/31-8/6) will better, I believe.

          • Jjfdv

CVS is the easiest! I gave up on walgreens about a year ago.  I agree tho that rite aid has some great sales and I stilll shop them on occasion.

        • Calpurnia78

i did great last week rolling the Dial Mens soap into the Mitchum deoderant and then did it again to buy the soap and then another deoderant. It worked perfect but I did have an initial outlay.

    • Calpurnia78

I know we have heard it all about Wags employees..well my friend started couponing a few weeks ago and today she went into wags to do the mitchum deal with the $1 off mfg coupon that came out. The cashier told her she was not allowed to use the coupon because the product was already on sale!!! so she believed him and bought it anyway..seriously did you ever?

      • ChrissyPunkin

Bummer!  I hope she keeps trying.

      • Liz5979

wow. I'd tell your friend to return and rebuy!

    • Taffyclarkcda

alright..I'm still learning how to shop @ Walgreens, so I have a few questions:: Don't you have to have the same # or more items as you do coupons?? If so, how can you use the “filler items” if you have to use the in ad coupon to get it cheaper???  So like if you're buying an item and want to use a str + manf coupon, but need a filler item …how do you use a filler w/ in ad coupon?????  Pls help, trying to get  my list together for tomorrows sale

      • Bamasaver

The Walgreens coupons don't count, it's only the manufacturer & RR ones that you have to take into account.

      • They won't count the in ad coupons for you filler items. You may need to find the cheapest filler item, and again IT'S not necessary to do this if you can find something else you need more even if you don't have a coupon. I found a lot of Smart Source $1.50/2  for Johnson Johnson First Aid hanging by the shelves at Walgreen. If you need First Aid, this can be a good option others that small office supplies above, Price $0.99 each , buy 2 and use $1.50/2 coupon, makes them $25 each. Not bad

      • Shellie

think of the in-ad coupons as a “price changer” not a coupon!

      • Angelascoupons1

Yes…in ad coupons do not count against you.  That is why you can use an in-ad and a manuf. Q on the same item (I did it with pantyliners at Wags today).  You need fillers mainly to help you use the Register Rewards.  So if you buy two items and have manuf. qs and in-ad qs, to use any RRs you will need a filler item for the RR to “attach” to.  There are some easy ones this week with school supplies, but I generally either 1) pick the cheapest thing I can find…candy or whatever or 2) pick something I know I need that is “reasonably” priced.  Today, I bought something I needed…but Wags had folders for $.09, which would have been a very cheap filler.  Hope this helps!

You are smart to work out your deals before you get to the store.  I generally do them several ways to get my out of pocket the lowest.  Dont' try to do it in the store…it will drive you crazy and you will likely make a mistake (have done that too myself!).

    • Rebecca_lc

how do i get the walgreens home mailer or any of the other walgreens coupon books?

      • They are in the Walgreens store, usually by the front store next to the store ad

    • Liz5979

Just went to Walgreens.com and printed a few store coupons(sc), There’s a $3 off Lamisil sc u can use w/ a $3 Lamisil manf coupon (mc). $1off Hot Shot sc use w/ $1mc. $3 Tylenol Precise sc / use w/$5 off printed coupon. $4off Lumene sc use w/ $4 mc.$0.50 Kleenex bundle sc / use w/ 0.50 mc.

Sorry, don’t have prices to any of these products. Just figured if anyone needed these, these might help :)   Going to Walgreens now.

    • Timetosavetogether

      I can't find this in RP 07/10:
-.80/1 Pure Silk shave cream, RP 7/10

We looked like four times, even looked in SS 07/10. We live in 33810

      • Bamasaver

Inserts are regional.  Some areas get a coupon for a different value or don't get a coupon at all.  Stinks, huh?

        • Timetosavetogether

Yup. makes sense tho. Thanks for the reply  :)

      • Mcleodsc

I looked and did not get it either:(!

    • JC's girl 2536

I tried the dentek coupon printable from smart source and it worked!! Just thought some of Y'all might wanna know.

      • Lyndsey

i do not see it.  what zip did you use for dentek?

    • Tiffany

I'm not sure how the Walgreens works where you are, but in TN they've changed their coupon policy to where if you pay with a RR on an item that's supposed to give another RR back, it voids that new RR from printing.  Anyone else seen this happening???

      • Thall561

That is if you use the RR from the same product.

      • Parawen

Yes, I've had that happen to me in NC as well.  I always have to make sure I'm not paying for any RR items when I used my RRs.  CVS isn't like that.

    • Taffyclarkcda

Ok, I have another question…w/ the in ad coupon, do you need one for each of that item, or will one scan of that one in ad coupon apply the savings to as many of that item that you buy??

      • Bamabobbie

If you purchased say two of an item then the in ad coupon the cashier scans takes off the amount two times.  Give your mfg coupons first then scan in ad coupon.  Sorry just read the rest of your question.  LOL  Yes it will take off as many as you buy with one scan.  Don't know if you go over the limited number thought.

    • Mcleodsc

Tried to shop before church at the 24 hr WAGS. NONE OF THE SALES OR RR had been activated. Manager said that the office in Chicago did not activate yet and there would not be anyone in the office there until 8 AM. So looks like I will be busy after church!

      • Coupons090

they really need a new system,7/24 sales should start at 12.01 on 7/24 for the 24 hr.stores.i would be really upset if i returned after church and everything was gone.

    • Parawen

FYI – The Lysol website also has a rebate form for Buy 2 Get 1 Lysol Wipes Free program. (Up to $3 rebate when you buy 3 Lysol products, including at least 1 wipes.)

Did anyone get schick razor coupons?

      • Guest

yes I did in the paper and I still had some left that expire 7-30-11

    • John

Page 16 of the weekly ad has 42 cnt Omeprazole for 19.9. You get a 10.00 visa gift card as a rebate. Its valid 7/24 through 7/30

    • By_ch0ice

I got some of the 8 count walgreens tampons pay 1.50 get back 1.50 and the register gave me a 1.00 off coupon on a pack of 18 or more.. expires on 8/21/11..i was a happy camper

    • amyo2006

scored $90 worth of stuff for about $20! I love Walgreens. Once you figure out their couponing policy its great to shop there. Also I wish my region was having that “$4 RR WYB (4) Garnier Fructis Select Products at $3.50 ea” sale…sadly here in south Florida its not in the ad. I had already printed out coupons for the sale. Oh well, I'm sure there will be another Garnier sale soon, if not I could check out the sales at CVS.

    • Tahjuannia

im having problem with java. its showing it in enable, but it still will not print the smart source coupon. now the coupon is no longer available. does anyone have summer eve coupons.

    • Amberj

What is the walgreens coupon calendar? Is this the booklet they put out each month with the regular sale ads or something different. I'd love to have that crayola coupon, but don't remember seeing it.

      • Ash

I found miine in Montgomery, AL when I was visiting family. They were in the clearance section. They are regular calendars with coupons at the bottom. Looks like they were $5 originally.

    • Jeffcoupon

My local Great Clips (Piedmont,NC) had $4.00 coupons off Schicks Quatto Titanium Trimmer and the Refills. My local GC had them on the checkout counter. And after coupon it makes it like paying $1.99 after RR.

    • Fcasvu13

Are the IVC coupons in the little booklets considered manufacturer's coupons? I tried to do the huggies baby wipe deal for a friend and the cashier told me that I couldn't use more than one manufacturer's coupon on one item ( I was also using the .50/ huggies wipes coupon). He said that ALL of the coupons in that book are not Walgreen's coupons. I was really aggitated with him but I did what he said. What was so confusing is I went into the same store YESTERDAY and they let me use 2 milka chocolate printed coupons and the $1/2 from the July booklet. The cashier even checked with the manager and he said it was fine that those were Walgreen's coupons. Anyone else having this problem?!

      • JenW

The cashier HAS to scan the manufacturer's coupon first, then the Walgreens coupon, won't work in the reverse order.  Some cashier's know this, some don't.  But it WILL work if they scan them in the right order.

        • Fcasvu13

He wouldn't even try to scan it. He looked at my coupons and handed it back to me and said he couldn't do it. I am just frustrated with my Walgreens and there isn't another one anywhere near by :(

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Does the coupon from IVC booklet say “Manuf Q” on top? Does it have upc code that starts with a bunch of nubers that are alike the numbers on manuf Q in your hand?  If yes to either, then the cashier was right. You could only use one or the other.

      • Gatorginger

You have to give them your manufacture coupons first and then give them the walgreens coupons and you shouldn't have any problem otherwise the register beeps

    • Mpcliff

My Walgreens in High Point, NC had some great deals in the clearance section…tuna for 49 cents and Hunt's spaghetti sauce for 79 cents, just to name a few.

    • Ssnracine

West Columbia walgreens on Agusta Road now have there clearance items on half a ile for 75% off

    • infantrn

I have a question. If i am purchasing just the huggies wipes, do i have to have a filler item if i use the walgreens coupon and the manufacturer coupon? tried to purchase today and the register wouldn't take the maufacturer coupon?

      • Tiggered_1972

        Scan manQ first

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

WAGs store Q and manuf Q can go together hand in hand. In other words, store Qs can be ignored in total Q count are irrelevant. If your subtotal was still higher than the manuf Q that beeped, then it is a register problem and they should have pushed it thru manually.

      • guest

The number of coupons used can't be greater that the number of items purchased.  If you bought one package of wipes and you wish to use two coupons (one store, one man.) you must have a filler item.  Jenny usually includes a list be cheap filler items with the Walgreens deals.

    • Angelascoupons1

I love when Wags does the Scunci deals…I stock up since they are free and my kids are always losing them.  Had my first experience using RRs at my Harris Teeter for groceries.  Went off without a hitch.  They scanned, no beeps.  I've decided that I will not try to hard to roll my bucks at Wags anymore – since I can always apply RRs to my grocery bill.  Either way, it saves.  If you have not asked your local HT about accepting them, you should.  They will scan fine.

    • Ann in VA

I saw the Noxema razors are BOGO.  Can't we use the $2 off from 7/10 for those?

      • Bamasaver

Yes, you should be able to (two items, two Qs).

    • Janell

My Walgreens had Crayola Crayons 24 count on sale for $1 with $1 back in RR making them free :)

      • Mcleodsc

Was it in your sales paper? It is not listed in mine but I am going to buy one pack just to see if it is on sale in SC too

        • Janell

It was in my sales paper, but it was an additional ad wrapped around the reg. Walgreens ad and it only had school supply deals on it. Hope it works for you :)

    • Lacy Thompson

Has anyone else run into the problem of Wags not letting them use the wags coupons in addition to the manufacturer coupon? They tell me that the coupons found in the pamphlets are actually manufacturer coupons. It actually does say “manufacturer coupon” in the fine print. Just wondering why some wags allow it and not others.

      • EJ

I had the same problem yesterday. I was purchasing Huggies like Jenny indicated at the top. Used a Manufacturer coupon for 1.50 and 2.00 from Walgreens + 5 RR I had from the week before. The clerk would not only use the 2.00 but wouldn't use the 5 RR.  I was so upset because the least he could have taken was the 5RR because that is like cash.

        I definitely like CVS better.

        • Gatorginger

You may have just needed a filler out.  RR's are considered coupons and if you only bought huggies then you had three coupons and one item so you needed two more inexpensive items to make it work cause you can't have more coupons than items

      • Scubatown

I had a cashier void out the Wags coupon  THEN  they resacanned the manufacutrer's coupon and the register THEN let the wags coupon scan.  So I always hand the cashier my manufacturer's coupons FIRST then give them the Walgreens(wag) coupons.  Hope this helps!

      • Gatorginger

What you have to do is give them your manufacture coupons first and then give them the walgreens coupons otherwise it will beep.  It took me a while to learn this but now it works every time

        • Cmat17

Yeah, I had this problem with the Viactiv calcium chews today.  I was so frustrated b/c I knew it was supposed to work.  Now I know what to do.

    • Mhmazzoli

OK–can someone explain to me how RR works? I dont know anything but am interested in starting to go to Walgreens to coupon.

      • Bamasaver

You might want to read Jenny's “getting started guide” in the upper right corner of this page.  It will be very helpful in understanding how to effectively shop at Walgreens.

    • My Wags has the Crest Pro Heath For Me toothpaste you buy 3 you get a $3 RR and a $2 Catalina. :)

    • Butterfinger_5568

on the baby wipes does the WG booklet coupon count in your number of coupons per item ratio? Also,on the noxema razors B1G1 can you use 2 of the $2.00 Mc to get them free with overage?

      • Bamasaver

Store coupons shouldn't count in your ratio & I've been able to use two Qs on a B1G1 (just make sure you have something to absorb the overage).

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

The store I go to, such over-value coupons always beep and do not carryover the overage to apply to something else to absorb. I don't know why individual store registers would be different

    • Janell

For the Scunci deal, I found packs w/ an additional pack attached. So I actually got 4 packs of the hair ties for the same deal! First good trip to Walgreens in a long time. I was about to give up on them!

    • CWalker

I bought the Bayer low dose that was on sale today for my dad.  I had the cashier check to make sure it was buy one, get one 50% off, before purchasing, and it did ring up that way.  i didn't notice until later, but once i used the manufac. coupon and the walgreens coupon, the register adjusted the 50% off bottle to a lower amount.  did i hand my q's in the wrong order?  i realized that it made the 2nd bottle 50% off from the instore price minus the walgreens q from july booklet.  i thought this was weird.  I thought about going back in, but i think it was going to be 50 cents, and it still was a great deal.  Just didn't know if this had happened to anyone else.  i want to get him some more, so i don't want to have this problem every time.

      • Calpurnia78

Im not sure about your question but I take those low dose aspirin too and I have never paid anything for them. That is one of those products you can get for free over and over again. You may have to wait a little bit but a freebie deal on them should come along soon again.

        • CWalker

i have never seen the bayer low dose on sale.  it is always the bayer extra strength, so where have you seen them on sale?  i want to make sure i look out for them because he has to take two a day for the rest of his life and i would love to be able to get it for him for free.

          • Calpurnia78

Ive gotten the deal at Walgreens a couple of times in fact. Different brands and also I think I got a few boxes at publix but of course now I cant remember. It was def the low dose 81 mg. Okay now I looked at my stock – the ecotrin I got at Publix, that is a low dose 81 aspirin. If you look at the coupon data base there are always coupons for ecotrin. I am sure it will eventually come back on a good deal and then you can find them for free.

      • Mcleodsc

The registers at my WAGS ring up weird too. The BOGO items are always some strange amount like the first one is 3.67 and the second one 2.33.  I don't know understand it.

    • Raynesmw

Uggh! I was almost out of ink and paper (gotta figure out how to save on ink :-) and I didn't print the scotch coupons from my welcome email. Dummy me didn't save them either and now they have changed. Did anyone save the pdf and could send it to me? I really could use some glue sticks and tape for my classroom. I will never not save a pdf again, lesson learned. My email raynesmw@gmail.com.

      • Emily

Can't help you with the scotch coupons, but Walgreens does refill most ink cartridges (epson and canon excluded). Hope this helps with your printing costs.

      • Janice

My suggestion is to get a laser printer. Jenny posts whenever the office supply stores have a special deal going on. You can even get a black ink only printer. The ink lasts FOREVER in them (mine lasted over a year!).

    • Ilike2coupon2

Just got back from my shopping trip and couldn't be more happy.  I purchased:
      3 memo books
      2 mini composition books
      4 m&m pretzels
2 crest pro health care toothpaste
      2 oral b indicator
      2 dentek flossers
      2 irish spring deodorant
      12 packs of scunci
      1 loreal sleek shampoo
      1 loreal sleek conditioner
1 loreal sleek frizz taming creme serum
1 loreal sleek humidity defying leave in cream

      $14.73 out of pocket
      $3 rr left
$72.73 total value purchased but if you also minus the advertised savings the total value purchased was $107.32.

Either way I paid 20% or less than full price for all these items.  If anyone wants to know the transactions let me know and I will post it…..don't want to post if nobody is really interested LOL!

      • infantrn

I would like to know your transactions and coupons!

Like I said I did quite a few extra transactions just to not confuse the cashier but you could do this with cashing out a few less times than I did.

          • Hippiecouponmama

Love the planning on your part — amazing. Did you have to write it all down? Also, how did the cashier/other customers react to 14 transactions?

            • Ilike2coupon2

I wrote down everything I knew I wanted first that gave rewards and then just made sure that I didn't by the same product with my RR so I kept getting more RR.  I didn't do all 14 at one time….I cashed out when no one was behind me so that I wouldn't make customers mad….I did 4 transactions, then 4 more, then the last 6…..I had everyhing I needed for all the transactions I wanted to do at once and then  seperated it for the cashier one transaction at a time…..the cashier was very nice and thanked me for knowing how I wanted to pay for everything and having it seperated…..she said it didn't add any extra work for her…..i guess the key is to just be as nice as possible and try to do the extra work ahead of time so you don't inconvience anyone.

            • Mcleodsc

All I can say is 'WOW!!!” The WAGS here would never have allowed anyone to do that many transactions. I want to got to YOUR WAGS!!!

            • Lisakathleen

I also do the same thing at my Walgreens! They know me – one of them I even went to HS with many moons ago. They appreicate the different orders because they say it leaves less room for errors that way. I also plan out in words instead of a table what I am going to buy, it just makes more sense to be that way?!?!?! I do it from home so I can take time comparing this site, my coupons, and the flyer. My son also appreciates the planning – shopping trips anywhere and the time is cut WAY down when you go through your coupons and everything at home. I still carry my coupon box though!!!

    • Alicia

I dont recall seeing this in the ad, just came across it while in store. Walgreens is having a sale on Wisk Laundry Detergent for 6.99 and is giving away a 50 count snuggle dryer sheet with purchase. There was a 2.00 off coupon for wisk a few weeks back, dont recall what paper. So for 4.99 you get Wisk Laundry deteregent and snuggle dryer sheets.

      • Caroline Jones

Yes, same thing in my store, and they had the $2off coupon on the wisk laundry detergent, turned out a sweet deal… $4.99 for Wisk detergent and snuggle dryer sheets.

      • BoxerMom

It's on the bottom left corner on the back of the ad

    • If the ad says 2 chicken broths for $1 (2/$1) and it says a limit of 4, does it mean 4 cans, or 4 of the deals (so 8 cans)?  I think it means 4 deals but I'm not sure.  Thanks!

      • Bamasaver

My experience has been that it would be 4 cans.

        • I went yesterday and asked about that and the cashier said it meant 4 cans too

    • infantrn

What is the walgreens home mailer listed for the huggies coupons? i have the infant care booklet but that one wouldn't work. Is there a coupon code i can give the cashier for the diapers?

    • Corysarah12

    • Jas

??? The noxema razors are 2.99 b1g1. Can I use 2 $2 off coupons? if so will the second coupon be adjusted down to .99 cents or will there be overage and I just need to get more items? also if i get a raincheck for an item with rr and it doenst come in until the following week when the sale is over do i get rr? or is it like rite aid were the up rewards are just deducted from your total? I read the getting started guide and couldn't really find the answer to my questions…Thanks in advance for the help!

      • Alicia

I think with the rain check you will not get the RR. That is my experience with them. Also, you can use two coupons when it is b1g1f, as long as you have two products for your 2 coupons. And I believe most stores make you get a filler item if they owe you money. Especially if you are using RR.

        • Jas

thank you! I was able to use two coupons and also got a dollar overage but i had other items to make up for it!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

I do not think any Wags gives RR on rainchecks-They do not have the ability to do nor do they deduct RR value-But double check with your store.

Many in here have said two coupon will go thru and the overage will be applied to any your sub-total if you buy something to absorb the overage amount. However, in my experience at one store I go to, coupon would consistently beep when the amount runs over the actual price balance of the mentioned product. In other words, second coupon will beep because there is now a balance of pnly 99 cents on the product (even though you may have several dollar balance in subtotal from other products). In that case, sometimes cashier swould tell you he couldn't use it. But you must insist because it is legit to use the second coupon and that they will have to adjust the second coupon value to 99 cents (though they can also choose to push full $2 value so you could benefit from overage).

        • Boxermom

You guys are both right , we can't make it print the register reward of a raincheck. But we can print you something to mail into catalina so they can send you your register reward and when you get it from them, they usually are dated for a month or so out :) Happy Shopping everyone

          • Jas

            thanks!

        • Jas

          thanks! I did get overage!

      • RaquelFL

yes everytime its a b1g1 always use 2 coupons so it will be less money that comes out your pocket.

    • Brandi

I didn't see it on here, but i thought my ad also had crayola crayons 1.99 with 1.99 in RR and also BOGO backpacks at 9.99.

    • Jgutierrez

So I did my first trip to Walgreens today I was frustrated  one because I forgot my list at work,  two because I only had one hour, and three because they did not have the items I need it but I am not giving up this is my break down

    • Calpurnia78

This was a new one on me. I had 6 coupons and 6 items and it didnt work because one of my coupons was 50 cents off of 2. So that ONE coupon counts as 2 coupons because it is applied to 2 items. I dont know if this is explained in the tutorials but I often hear and read that coupons must = number of items. I had 6 lysol wipes for the deal and 3 of 50 cents off 2 coupons and 3 RRs to pay with..that equals 6…well as we know the RRs are mfg coupons so since the 50 off 2 was already applied to my 6 items then it beeped. The cashier, who understands this– told me I should have handed her my RRs first, which I have also read here, but in most cases, it doesnt make any difference. In this case it did! She started screaming at me that she understood the system and I didnt know anything and she taught me about the coupons and the system another time I was in there so I should have KNOWN to hand her the RR first (I gave them all in  a stack) she re-entered and it worked while berating me for being such a dope!!!

      • Lonestar9

Wow…your a nice person, I don't know if I would take a cashier screaming at me, I'm liable to scream back..=).
That happened to me before, I just had to add 2 filler items, which turned out to be chocolates, Then the system took all my coupons. Oh well, next time I'll see about handing over the RR first.

    • Jgutierrez

So I when back to my local Walgreens, I Palmolive dish wash on sale for a $1 I have a .25 coupon I found a men speed stick deodorant on the sale aisle for a $1 I had a .50 coupon, then I got 2 of the carefree pads for a $1.99 each and had a coupon of $3 for 2 I PAY TOTAL $1.28  I am going back to this Walgreens because the prices were cheaper then the one I when yesterday I don’t know why.

    • Cswart

I know this is probably a silly question, but how do I get a Walgreens home mailer?

      • Candace

I just realized I have the mailer in a stash of coupons.  I think the way I started getting it is signing up online to their website for my photo uploads.  There is not a choice in the “my account” page.  They just ask your e-mail preferences, but I think they send it automatically when you sign up.  So, set up an account for Walgreens.com and maybe you’ll start getting them.

        • Cswart

Thank you!  I will give it a try!

      • Candace

Not a silly question, I'm wondering too!

    • Dandydanielle

does any one have the code for the huggies store coupon and can u tell me how it is that u get the home mailer

      • Mcleodsc

$2 off any one Huggies Diapers Big Pack or Wipes 184 or 216 ct.
        0  00000 05519  2
I have the Infant Care Booklet that I asked for at the Cosmetics Counter.

    • Lmille16

I went to my local Walgreens today and their sale for the 2000 Flushes Blue with Bleach 3.5 oz was 2 for $5.00. I had a $1.00 off manufacturer coupon I printed online and a $0.55 off manufacturer coupon from Sunday's paper. All in all I spent $3.75 for 2 and saved $4.53!

    • Savingmoney11

If you are looking for the crayola 10 pack kids markers that are the larger sized ones, my walgreens in Nashville had them for 99 cents as well as the 12 pack color pencils. Just wanted to post this for those that are still buying scho supplies. It was the best deal I have seen on them so far so I picked up three of each.

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

Wisk detergent 20oz/12 washes are for 99 cents. They look like cute baby bottles and have $1.50 off Qs on next wisk (70 oz or larger) purchase

    • Sachita831

I have the WAGS $1 off Q and 19 man Q's for the Huggies wipes. If I buy 19 will the WAGS Q automatically deduct $1 off of all 19 boxes? Is there a limit to how many it will apply to? Trying to avoid any problems at the register!

      • Mcleodsc

I do not know – I do know that it WILL take off for 5 products. That is the most I have tried. Please let us know if it takes off for all 19. Also has your store tried to limit the number of mfg. coupons/sales items you purchase?  One of my WAGS has recently started trying to limit the number of coupons/sales items. I am not talking abour RR items. I know the limit on them is one. Just yesterday, the manager wanted to limit the number of TIC Tacs I was purchasing (I only had 6 with 6 coupons). She said I'll let you do it THIS TIME.
You would think that the store would want to sell as many of each sales item(that are not limited in the ad) as possible. I thought the purpose of WAGS was to sell stuff and make a profit!

        • Sachita831

I haven't been to WAGS in a few weeks but I've never been limited in the past. I have a specific WAGS I go to even though there are several in my area. There is a lady in the beauty dept that understands couponing and has always been extremely helpful. I may just have to do 5 at a time. With my luck there won't be 19 boxes of wipes anyway!

      • Lonestar9

I've been to 2 in the last 2 days(upstate of SC)…not even 1 wipe to be found. Good luck finding that many!

    • Jen_poppet

I guess I'm behind the times, haven't been to WAGS for a while, when did they introduce the rule that if you get a RR, you can't apply it to your next purchase during “the same visit” even if you make two transactions.  The cashier even said that I'd just have to go to another store, leaving and reentering didn't work :(  Just reiterates why I don't like WAGS as much as CVS, at least CVS are fairly clear!

      • Candace

No way!?!  This is news to me too and I was about to go…just got my list planned and everything.  Does anyone know if the RR count as coupons?  I mean, if I have 3 RR and 3 manuf. coupons, do I have to get 6 items to make it work?

        • Lisa

Yes – the RR's count as coupons – I always end up buying filler items – which can get pricey. My Walgreens is friendly – but the computers are programmed to take one coupon per item. It is a PAIN! So six coupons means six items.

      • Amberj

On monday (and again on Tuesday) I  purchased the scrunci pony tail holders with the 3.00 RR. I then turned around and used it on my next transaction of school supplies with no problem. Maybe it's just certain walgreens stores.

    • LaurenD

I think Walgreens shopping requires a lot of work, figuring out what to buy and how to use certain coupons and when, is pretty difficult when you have a 2 year old talking to you the whole time. That's why I like Kroger, it's easy, it's on sale, use a coupon, they double it and it's that easy.

    • Laura

Advil Congestion Relief 20 count, sale price $10, buy one get 50% off second.
      Use 2 $1 off coupons, pay $13.
Submit for July rebate $5 wyb 2, select W gift card & get 10% extra

makes it $7.50 total ($3.75 each)

    • Mskimj63

      Crayons 24 packs $1.99 get $1.99 RR

    • Angela

My Wags is clearancing out some of their baby stuff: Pampers Baby Dry Size 1 (50 pk) for $3.19, Pampers Easy Ups Size 2t-3t for $3.19 and Wags brand training diapers Size 5 for $2.29.  If they're not marked down at your store, price check at the register.  I checked on some that were marked down on the shelf from $11.99 to $10-something, but when I had the cashier check the price, it was $3.19!

    • Betsy

Where are you getting the coupons for the deals at Wahlgreens and the other pharmacies.  I am having a hard time understanding your posts and what they mean.  Really new to this so need alittle explaining..thanks. Betsy
