I am new at things, but when I got to Walgreens today, none of the month long RR’s were marked. Is there a way to find out what they are in my area. I didn’t see them in the circular either? Also, everything was gone. Is there certain days they restock or do you need to be there first thing Sunday morning?
      Thanks, Monica

      • Candace

        Monica,
I work at walgreens and I would recommend asking a MANAGER what days they get a truck. Also corporate is requiring all stores to make an endstand of all the register reward items (usually they will be in displayers) and most of the Hot Buys in the had like cereal or paper goods these will be at the front of the store near the front of cosmetics or the front of the hallmark aisle. And the reason why they have taken the tags down is because they get new tags every sunday during the store hours they have to have time to take the previous week down and put up the next week, which most stores have that done of saturday so they are ready for sunday. They rotate the tags by color. One week there will be blue tags and the next red. If you have trouble finding a sales item Please ask an associate. Walgreens is all about customer service! Good Luck

        • Karen

          Monica,
A friend of mine also works at Walgreens and said the manager told them that starting soon, customers could only use 1 RR per TRANSACTION. Have you heard of this? Thanks! :)

          • Jodi

The walgreens here in upstate SC will only let you one coupon per item so ex.if you are getting 3 theraflu and use 3 coupons and a RR you will need a filler, cause that would be consider 4 coupons and only 3 items. Is it like that for you?

          • Cheri

The cashier at my Walgreens only let me use 1 RR last night and I had more than enough items to use my second one.

            • Karen

I’m afraid they’re going to start this 1 RR per TRANSACTION (no matter how many items you have) to make it more difficult to use all of the RR’s before they expire……. :(

            • Beth

This happened to me last night at a Walgreen’s where I’ve routinely used several RR’s in one transaction. The store manager said it was a new corporate policy. He seemed to know what he was talking about and not just giving me a line.

            • LH

I had a similar experience about a month ago. The cashier had a nasty attitude and told me that I couldn’t use more than one RR per transaction. I complained and she said it was the manager’s rule. The manager then went on to lecture me about not paying taxes. I wasn’t trying to avoid paying taxes. I was trying to use my RR on an arm brace, color pencils, and I had two papers. My total was close to $21 and I had $15 in RR. The difference would have been my newspapers and taxes. After a slightly heated discussion, the manager said he would do it this “one time”, but not again. Since then, I’ve shopped at three different Walgreen’s and had no problems. I have to say that I’m limited the amount of business I give Walgreen’s.

    • LD

On the Ricola that has the weekly in add coupon, there is also a .50 off 1 in the healthy savers book. Can I use both of the Walgreens coupon on the items? then use the manuf q ?

      • Emily

If I understand it correctly, you can only use 1 manf. and 1 store coupon per item.

      • Susan

Sometimes Walgreens’ registers will accept an in-ad coupon combined with a healthy savers coupon, or the children’s activity book coupon. That’s how we got free bandaids this week. You can always ask a clerk to try and see if it will work. My clerks are always more than willing to help me see if a deal will work with their computers.

      • Beth

I used the in ad coupon, plus the .50 off PLUS the B1G1 coupon.

    • KIm Fordyce

the Gillete Fusion razor deal expires 10-17-09 I heard this and checked it out. The register reward ticket says it expires the 17th of Oct.

      • Jenny

It is actually advertised in this weeks ad, so it runs through the 24th from what most can tell.

        • Debbie

The Register Reward will expire 2 weeks from when it printed when you made your purchase. CVS is 3 weeks.

    • Lisa

Where can I find the healthy savings booklet?

      • Susan

They are usually by the front registers, or back by the pharmacy, but you can always ask. :)

      • Sam

My store is out of them, but they keep one at the register for the cashiers. They told me that if I needed to use a coupon from it to tell them when I check out and they will scan it for me. It doesn’t have to be put into the register, so it can be used over and over. that helps. You might call your store. I went to 3 and they were all out! In fact 2 of the managers had no idea what the booklet was!

    • Ann

I would also like to know how I can know (prove) that the month long items are indeed still good when they have taken the tags down. Is there something I can print out to show the manager if the RR’s don’t print? I had a problem with the Dentek RR’s printing last week but luckily the red tags were still on the shelf so they gave me a $2.00 off rain check for them. Please answer this if you have time.

      • Jenny

Frustratingly there is nothing in writing besides the red tags and shelf displays that talk about these deals. Some stores will put them out and others never do. They should print in all areas though.

        • Debbie

The box for the Robitussun that has a rebate actually told about the Rebate and the dates. It was a big card board box used to stack the medicine in for display. The problem is they take those out and put the meds on the shelf and the box gets ditched.

    • Kim

Walgreens also has a $5.00 q for Benefiber in the Childrens Activity Book @ the pharmacy. It cost .99.

    • brandy

this printable shopping list is the best thing ever!!! thanks for sharing!

    • Tori

Hi, i have the Children’s Activity book, but there is no Benefiber coupon in it. Is there a new one or is it the same one with the band aids coupon??? Help please

      • Marlene

I found the $5.00 Benefiber Coupon in the “Walgreens October Coupon book”. It was up front in the rack with the sales papers.

        • Debbie

yes, it is in the monthly coupon book that is the same size as the old rebate booklets.

    • Karen

      What does wyb mean?

      Thanks!

      • Angel in Charleston

        wyb = when you buy

    • Karen

Is there a link to your site that gives all of the abbreviations? I can’t wait to try some of your deals!

      • Tammy

Check the top of the screen. Getting Started Guides. There is a choice FAQs and Lingo. I think that is where all the abbreviations are.

    • Shelly

I am new to all this…under the scenario idea #3 – why do I need the filler item? Would I also need a filler item on scenario #2 since I wouldn’t have the same # of coupons as items being purchased? Is this true for Walgreens? Do I have to have an equal item to coupon ratio?

      Thanks!!!

      • avenlee

In scenerio #2, a store coupon is used. You are able to stack a manufacture and store coupon on one item.

        • Debbie

The filler item is so you have something, an item, to match up to the Register Reward so you can use it. Also, there are several grocery stores that will take the Register Rewards so you can use them there instead if that is easier than rolling these deals.

          • Jackson

What grocery stores do you use the register rewards at????

    • Carolin

I can’t seem to find the FREE Ricola Natural Mixed Berry Cough Drops wyb Ricola Cough Drops, SS 10/11. Does anyone else have it missing from their newspaper. I’m from Jacksonville, FL.

      • LD

I got it in mine , FL Times Union. HTH

    • Andrea

I purchased the Vaseline Sheer Infusion last week and expected to get RR since it was a month long RR item. My RR did not print and I inquired about this to the manager, explaining that the item should have given me RR b/c it was a month long RR item. He politely explained that I was mistaken, so I returned the item. It would have been great to have the lotion for my dry skin. Sigh

      • avenlee

This is a month long RR item. Did you get the correct size? It’s the smaller one that will produce the RR.

      • Marlene

I received the RR tonight for the sheer infusion in Evans GA. I have come to find though that many employees of the stores really don’t have a clue :/ so sometimes you have to just try it and see if it works. I am not afraid to return something if I am only buying it because of the sale and I don’t get my “reward”.

      • Jodi

I recieved my RR today as well, it is the smaller one and it was in the front of the store as you walk in next to the cosmetic section.

      • stellalunay2k

Do you live in the Charleston area, Andrea? I have and extra Vaseline lotion that you are welcome to.

    • Debbie

Here is the scenerio I’m doing:
#1 Buy 4 packs of Halls in 4 separate orders: $1 – .75Q=.25 cost each order, get (4) $1 RR

      #2 Buy Zantac and 4 Pencils (fillers):$8.99- $5Q=3.99 cost + 4 pencils (.12 each), less (4) Halls RR=about .50 cost, Get $8 RR

      #3 Buy Gillette Razor $8.99-$4Q = 4.99 and Chapstick $2.99
and 1 Filler (to make order go over $8 RR amount) =just over $8 less $8 RR for Zantac, get back $3 RR and $6 RR

      #4 Buy Zantac $8.99-$5Q=3.99 – $3 chapstick RR = .99 due, get $9 RR

      #5 Buy Vaseline $5.99-$1Q=4.99
Buy Walgreens Batteries at .99 with ad Q
Buy 1 Filler Item = .12 Pencil (to make it go over RR amount)
use: $6 Razor RR = small total due, get $7 RR for Vaseline

      #6 Buy Razor $8.99-$4Q=4.99 and Chapstick 2.99 = 7.98 – $7 RR from Vaseline Lotion = .98 due, get $6 RR on razor and $3 on Chapstick

(this is just like #5, u can keep rolling the razor into the lotion. then the lotion into the Razor)
      #7 Buy Vaseline Lotion $5.99-$1=4.99
Buy Walgreens Batteries at .99 with ad Q
Buy 1 Filler Item = .12 Pencil (to make it go over RR amount)
use: $6 Razor RR = small total due, get $7 RR for Vaseline

At the end, you will still have a $99 RR from the last Zantac to start next week with!
      I hope this helps someone!

      • Debbie

I meant to say a $9 RR left, not $99. oops!

        • Rebecca

Now that would have been one serious roll Debbie! I was trying to figure that out when I finally scrolled down to see your oops, lol. Love the scenarios! Thanks Jenny! I’m going to see how good I can do tomorrow and report back. :D

          • Debbie

I actually did exactly 25 orders, spent $11.37 oop, got back $28 in RR (made a profit!) and saved $187.96! I had to see exactly what I did for my own benefit b/c it was a lot of work so I thought I’d share.

    • Jennifer

Hey I just found a coupon for the Vaseline Sheer Infusion just go to Vaseline.com its for $1.50 YAY!! I have a question can I get 2 of the vaselines and get back 18.00 RR and how does the 2.50 RR work on the Oral B prohealth (9.99 – 2.50 RR – BOGO coupon makes it 2/$7.49) will I get back a RR with just 2.50 on it so far Ive only got back 1.00, 4.00, and 6.00. I’m new at this thank you for the help :D

      • Kristen

        YAHOO!! Vaseline coupon!!!!

      • avenlee

You can only get one RR item per transaction. So you will have to do two separate transactions purchasing the vasoline to get the two RR’s.

    • Carole

The RR reward will print if you get the right chapstick. I just bought one today.

    • J

NONE of the Register Rewards printed this morning…and the manager tried it on two different registers…and another lady that purchased Zantac by itself did not get a register reward either…big waste o time! (I am not new at this btw!)

    • Shelly

I don’t see the Zantac RR offer in today’s sales paper. How do I know I will get the $8.99 RR?

      • Amy

It was on the back of the flyer next to the Zyrtec ad.

    • Susan

I asked a clerk today where I could find the children’s activity book and was told that none of the stores in the southeast have those. Where do you find them? Also was going to buy the Trident gum and they had no clue what I was talking about when I told them they were a month long deal with a $1RR back!!!!

      • Kathy

That is not true we have some in South Georgia. They may not have shipped them to these stores as of recent but I just bought one at the end of this past week.

    • JEAN

Where can one find list of month-long deals? Store in New York City doesn’t have , aisles not marked with any stickers (if they are they are out of date!) and manager says they don’t know what I’m talking about when RR doesn’t print out – they know nothing of month-long deals. Any suggestions? How do you guys know your area’s monthly deals?

    • Esther

The ZANTAC coupon said it was expired.

      • Amber

        for me too!

    • amy

I live in simpsonville south carolina and went to the walgreens on fairview rd this morning. I have only been doing this coupon thing for several months now and would like to pass along my experience with everyone. I was treated as if I were trash this morning. I used coupons and when the cashier started to take them off, he accidentally added one instead of taking it off. To make a long story short, the manager sighed about twenty times and told me i was wrong and he thought that was ridiculous for me to ask for the 1.50 back. I showed him math then and he then found the error. I walked out of there with tears and will never return. His name was Gary and he is the asst. manager. This is not the first time I have been treated disrespectful by them. But, it will be the last. I am passing this along in order to prevent it happening to someone else. I love this sight and what Jenny has done for all of us. But, to me its like taking chances on if the cashiers want to do their job.

      • carol

I hate you had such a lousy experience. Let me recommend the 5 forks Walgreens….Great Staff! the girls in there helped teach a friend of mine how to roll his rewards…They are lovely…Skip that Fairview road store and head over to 5 Forks. The manager is wonderful too and tell them a satisfied customer recommended their store to you, cuz she did!

        • amy

Thank you very much.. I will try there next time!! You are greatly appreciated.

      • Momof2 (Greer, SC)

Why would allow someone to treat you this way? I don’t care if I am using coupons or just paying straight out cash. You never allow someone to treat you this way especially to the point where they have you in tears. Remember you control how you allow others to treat you. Stand up for yourself.

      • Angel

I agree completely about the walgreens in simpsonville. My family has had several bad experiences there. I do not go there unless it is absolutely necessary. The cashiers generally will not speak to you. I want to purchase something that was on the top shelf and they complained for 15 minutes about having to use a ladder to get the item. If they give you the wrong price on something, it is the end of the world for them to correct it. I would recommend not going there if at all possible.

      • I have a story for you also. A friend of mine went in the Fairview Rd store to buy her newspapers. She was buying 3 I believe and was LECTURED by the cashier about how it was not right for all these couponers to come in and buy multiple newspapers JUST for the coupons and then throw the newspapers in a landfill! He was so rude to her and she was furious. She said he ranted the whole time she was checking out and this was a CASHIER!!! Unbelievable! I have all but quite shopping at Walgreens. I’ve been tempted a few times, but it’s not worth the hassle. I’ve tried 3 different stores around the Simpsonville/Greenville area and they are all the same-RUDE! I have not tried Five Forks. Don’t know if I want to drive that far out of the way. I never go anywhere near that store.

    • Dena

I dont see the $1.50 coupon for Triaminic in my SS?

      • Debbie

it It may not have been in your regions coupons. All the regions coupons are different. Check Ebay and you can buy them if you want. I have had great success with this so far.

    • Debra

This is what I bought today:

      (2)Pert Plus shampoos
      (2)- Oral B Crossover Toothbrushes
      (1) Zantac 150- 24 count

      coupons used:
      (1)5.00 zantac coupon
      (2)1.00 off pert plus coupons
      7.00 RR
      2.00 RR
My OOP was $5.39 and I got back $2RR, $3RR and a $9RR for next week to use. It was a very good day and I saved $23.06 which was great.

    • Colleen

The .12 Halloween pencils won’t work as a filler- I guess because they have to scan the in ad coupon to get the sale price and it was counting as a coupon. I kept getting more pencils so that the computer would take my $5RR. Finally I “had” to buy a .50 Snickers bar and it took it. I guess I could have taken off the pencils but there was a line by then…. and it was only .36.
Sadly, I ate the Snickers I hadn’t planned on buying…. :) l already have too much candy from my Halloween candy deal at CVS the other week and my waistline didn’t need it that’s for sure!
But I got my kids’ Triaminic for almost nothing! I did have to go to two stores though. The first one wouldn’t take my MANUFACTURES coupon for the Triaminic from the Publix What Ache flyer because it said Use only at Publix. But I took all my coupons to another Walgreens ( they’re on every corner it seems like here in Nashville) and it was no problem there!
      Thanks Jenny!

    • melissa

Just wanted to let everyone know to look at your Walgreen’s Oct. coupons (the green one with the ghost on it) The manager in Gaffney said these coupons will NOT ring up multiple times like the ones from the coloring book does. I bought 2 Revlon foundations (the deal from last week, B1G1 50%)anyway, I tried to use the $4 off thinking it would take off $8 (like the scenario said) but it didn’t and she showed me where it states on the coupon “1 per customer per transaction”. Bummer! I made them refund cause it just wasn’t a good deal without the extra $4 off :( They were nice about it, though. She said to really watch the q’s from now on. They were going to be changing some things.

      • stellalunay2k

I did the Benefiber/Gas-X deal using the “ghost” booklet and I used only the one $2 coupon from it and it took off $8 (I had 2 Benefiber and 2 Gas-X)….so it works at some stores.

    • John Buckley

I went to Walgreens in Athens, GA to work this deal per Time 2 Save site:
      Buy 3 Theraflu
Use (3) $2/1 PRINT (IE) PRINT (FF) *You’ll need 2 computers for this
Use with $2 Walgreens Healthy Savings Booklet (will deduct for all 3)
      Pay $2.97 + Tax ~ Get back $8 RR

I only saw a Halloween discount book with NO $2 Healthy Savings Booklet. I asked the store clerk about it and she was clueless about any addition booklets. Where are the Healthy Savings Booklets? Does anyone know?

      • susan

These were in some stores about a month ago… but not all stores had them. Theraflu deal didn’t work for me today with this coupon.

    • Susan M

I’m thinking I can keep using a Zantac ($9 RR) transaction followed by one with the Vaseline lotion ($7 RR) + Robutussin ($2.50 RR) as many times as I like, and end up getting Zantac for 50 cents plus the taxes until I’ve gotten all I can use (I’m starting with $9 RR from last week).

(Pay $9 for Zantac, get $9RR back. Buy lotion and Robutussin for $9.50, pay with $9RR + .50 — get $7+$2.50=$9.50 RR back. Buy Zantac plus , pay with $9.50 RR, get $9 RR back. And then start it all over again.)

I haven’t been doing this long, so I wondering — am I missing something here? It just seems crazy that I could get as much Zantac as I wanted for basically no money!

      • Carol

The good news is you are not crazy. That will work!

    • heatherh

When I registered today for the Zantac $5 off coupon the website said the offer had expired.

    • Hsv mom

I have blinkies I found in Publix that says “Buy any Glade Scented oil candle holder, and get a free refill pack”. Can I use 2 of these and a $3.00/2 coupon on the two candle holders I purchased. I know I could at some stores, but am not sure about stacking at Walgreen’s. I figured it is like using a BOGO and then using an addition dollar off coupon. Does anyone know if that would work here.

      • lynn

yes! if i read you correctly…
        you’re going to buy
        (2) holders
        (2) refills?
so the ‘buy holder get 1 refill free’ coupon attaches to each refill.
then the 3/2 holder coup attaches to the holders!
        awesome!
just remember if you have any reg rewards to use too u’ll need a filler! :)

        • Hsv mom

This worked as you said! I got 2 of the tins and when I went to smell them, a piece of paper fell out and it was a $1.50 off coupon on one tin. So, I used 2 of the “Buy one Glade candle holder get a refill free” blinkie I found at Publix (Checked again tonight and the are still there) and 2-$1.50 off one holder from inside the tin. Woo-hoo!!!
          (2)tins 2.50ea
          (2)4 count value refills $2.50ea
          Use:
(2)Buy one get a refill free
          (2) $1.50 off each tin
          total OOP $2.00 plus tax

          • Hsv mom

The one coupon is a Buy one tin get a refill free.

    • Melissa

Is it just me or does Walgreens seem a little difficult with their RR and coupons. I am very pleased with the customer service that I have received, but the computer will kick out my good deals regarding the use of coupons. The computer will only allow so many coupons. I am starting to lean more towards just ignorning Walgreens and concentrating on CVS. Anybody else have this experience?

      • lynn

i think most would agree walgreens is a little more complicated because rr are manf coupons but there are also a few good deals to be had ….. once you get use to the system and learn the order to give your coupons it does gett easier good luck happy couponing

      • chris

Make sure you always have the same number of items as you have coupons and then it doesn’t seem to matter in which order you give them, at least for me it doesn’t.

      • lynn

just make sure you hand over the instore coupons LAST. and of course just one man q/reg reward per item. sometimes the register will fight with you when you have a next to nothing balance. i always seem to forget the exact ideal order, but i’m pretty sure it’s reg rewards, man q’s, then instore. good luck! i know the system at wag isn’t perfect but for their deals it’s almost worth the annoyances! :)

      • Susan

I *love* my Walgreens, and have never had an issue there. There is another in town that won’t let you use your RR’s right away–even if you leave the store and come back in. But mine is awesome, and as long as I follow the rules–Rr’s count as a coupon, and you can’t have more coupons than items–I get incredible deals, and they are wonderful to work with. Find out specifically about the coupon requirements at your Walgreens, and then see if you can work within their limitations.

        • brenda

I just got back from Walgreens and after studying my receipts I came up with this conclusion: for instance I spent 10.58 (4 items), then you start to deduct coupons (manufacturer, reward coupons, or in store coupouns), let’s say for a total of -9.08 (includes 5 coupons of a mixture of manufacturer, reward and instore coupons)which left a balance of 1.50, I could not use another reward for 2.00 unless my total was over 2.00. If you put fillers in to get to 2.00 then you end up just paying the taxes. But I still think you can only use 1 coupon per item (manufacturer and reward) but you can use walgreen in store coupon and manufacturer coupons on the same item. Now this may have worked for me just this time, but I believe rule of thumb is item per item you need a coupon per coupon. Hope I haven’t confused anyone too much. Thanks.

    • mama

I got Quilted Northern Bathroom Tissue at Walgreens today and I got $2 coupon for Cottonelle :)

    • Sarah

So I live in Wilmington, and there is no Vasaline Q in the SS 10/18, and I got 2 N&O and 2 Star News???

      • Sarah

I found it in the red plum

    • Sean

Would this scenario work, or does the BOGO coupon attach to both Tridents?

      Buy:
      (2) Trident Layers $2
      (1) Vaseline Sheer Lotion $6.99
      Use:
      (1) BOGO Trident Layers
      (1) $1 off Vaseline
      $6 RR
      Total Due: $.99
      Get Back: $8 RR

      • Susan

It should, Sean. You have 3 items, 3 coupons, and it appears to follow the wording of the bogo coupon.

      • Rebecca

Yup! That’s the deal I did today along with several others. I have to sit down and figure it all out but I’m pretty sure I got everything for free and about $2 extra. I did have some oop but ended up with a $9 and $8 RR for the next deals!

    • Christy

Me too mama, and I went to CVS and got the cottenelle 12 pk for $4.

I tried to use my airwick coupons today, but the airwicks on sale at my wal-greens are the manuel ones, not the I-motion and half off they were still $7.50.

      • Christy

The coupon for the cottenelle is a MFC, so I could use it anywhere. CVS had cottonelle on sale this week.

    • sara

sean. ur scenario sounds fine! was ur question if you used a coupon that attached to both u wouldn’t get ur rr?? even if you used two coupons you should still get the rr. :) i had planned to do that last night actually when i saw the bogo coup! good luck!

    • sara

wait..christy. i’ve never shopped at cvs, but they take walgreens reg rewards????

      • Christy

        Sorry sara, I meant walgreens….

    • Susan

      **Rebate on Sure for Men!

I hadn’t seen this posted, so I emailed this to Jenny and wanted to get it out there ASAP.

On the Sure for Men deodorant, there is a “try me free” sticker, with the website http://www.trysurefree.com

What an awesome deal to go with the Walgreens sale! You need to print the form, and send in the sticker and your receipt. Here’s the link straight to the form:

      http://www.trysurefree.com/forms/try_mens_free.pdf

    • Sandra

My Wags has Purex 3-in-1 on BOGO for $8.99. Anybody know where to get a coupon?

      • Susan

There are $2 off purchase of 2 inside the package of most Purex 3-in-1’s. It’s shrink-wrapped right on the inside of the back (you can see it from the outside), and I wouldn’t mind at all tearing a hole in the plastic and pulling it out if I was purchasing it.

    • Rhonda

My Walgreens refused to except my $4 Q for the Airwick i-motions @ $3.99 ea. And was VERY RUDE to me. The cashier and assistant manager said that because the Q was more than the price of the item they could not except it. I called corporate and they confirmed this policy. Corporate also told me that they do not price adjust.

      • Susan

My Walgreens accepted them, *but* I could not ring them up by themselves. I had to have something else, such as a cheap candy, because the register will not accept the coupon if the total goes into the negative, even by a penny. I had a clerk check that out for me ahead of time. It worked perfectly.

      • chris

next time add a Halloween pencil with the in store coupon for .16 cents and you would have only had to pay the taxes plus your .15 subtotal

      • Rhonda

I had other items in that transaction totaling up to around 3 dollars on top of the 3.99 airwick. The 4 dollar Q was the first she scanned when the register beeped, so there was no way the register was going below zero at that point. I dont know what the problem was. I went to the other wallgreens across town and did the exact same deal and it went thru no problem. And I had the correct Q and item. Im baffled.

        • Mandie

Hey sista! Sorry Wags cashier was rude to you. I’m glad you found one that was nice and that took your Q. Why some stores beep and others don’t is beyond any of us?? Wierd.

    • lynn

will the .75 coupon work for the Scotch tape dispenser? The coupon says it’s for the easy grip tape dispenser, and the sale ad shows the regular tape dispenser, not the easy grip.

    • Carrie

Regional or just my paper? Clear Care Coupon for $3 is not here in my SS 10/18, but I do have $1.50 off Clear Care. Any reason why us poor GA people get the shaft? Even coupontom.com lists it as a $3 coupon.

    • Melissa

Has anybody in the Charleston, SC area tried the new Walgreens that just opened on Hwy. 17 and Main Rd.? I’ve always had the use the James Island Walgreens and now we have one just 10 minutes away. (yippee) Just curious if the cashiers are coupon friendly.

    • scott

hi…i live in southern illinois and have ?. page 17 has ad for RR “buy 30.00 or more, get 10.00 RR”. the mylanta is , i assume, part of deal. ? is….if i buy 8 for 32.00 and then use 4 of the “save 4.00 on 2” bringing my total due now down to 16.00 due, do i now not qualify for the 10.00 RR ? i would think that i should. thanks, scoot,,,,,p.s. love your site.

      • scott

        shoot…..scott not scoot……hey, i’m a poet and didn’t know it

    • mama

I saw two coupons $2 AND $5 off for Benefiber from Walgreens Children’s Activity book. Can I use both in the same time?

    • Carrie

      For the Glade Deal:
This does not appear to be workable. The online printable specifies $1 off when you buy (2) oil refills, and the coupon from SS 9/13 expired on Oct. 17th. I have a feeling Glade will have other deals though so I am not bummed by this.

      • Carrie

Let me correct myself…the coupon from SS *9/20* expired on the 17th.

    • Mary

Where do I find Walgreens healthy savings booklet in the store? No one at Walgreens seemed to know.tks,

      • Mary

found your notes… it appears that I’ll need to continue searching

      • Rebecca

I found mine sitting on the counter back at the pharmacy. There was a large stack of them thankfully. HTH!

    • brittany

I received my $9 rewards from the Zantex, now I have a question. If I purchase another Zantex and use a filler for .10 and use a $5 manufacturer coupon, do they give me back $4 in rewards or cash. How does that work?

      • Rebecca

I am just going to use my 2nd Zantex coupon for a second RR. If you have another RR from a different deal, it works out better for you.

    • Erica

I tried to buy the airwick imotion starter kit which is on sale for $3.99 and use a $4 off coupon and the cashier said she couldn’t reduce the amount of the coupon! I had other items to purchase so I wouldn’t have a negative balance due. I explained to her that she could reduce the amount of the coupon and she said she couldn’t because that wouldn’t be fair to the company. Is there anything that I could have said differently?! Help!!

    • GG

My local Walgreen would not let me use the $4 off coupon on the Airwick I-motion on sale for $3.99, she said register will not take it and she could not reduce it down to $3.99…….oh well, will use it somewhere else……..

      • Hilary

The same thing happened to me today1! I was so mad!! But I think Target has them on sale for $3.99 this week and someone told me they DID take the coupon… Just FYI. Im going to try it tonight.

    • Debra

Question? Does anyone know if you can use more than 1 RR in a transaction?
