    • Mom2teenagers

Not a bad week but I have a $10RR that I earned last week on P&G products so I can't use it on the Olay and Vicks scenario. Guess I'll have to find other deals to use it on.

      • Sean

Yes you can. Because the P&G deals are of different values, ($5 and $7 respectively) the RR will still print. The only way you would have a problem is if one of them was printing a $10 RR.

The Harris Teeter near me accepts the Walgreens RR coupons, so you might want to check at your supermarket.

    • Diane

I don't think I need to step foot in wag's next week! I won't miss it.

      • kcreviews

        Same here. :(

      • Tasha

Agreed. There are a couple that might be ok if I need to go there for something else, but man. Definitely not worth a trip.

    • Lisamarieonssi

Could I buy 1 trail size secret, 1 Olay body wash, 1 Olay renegenerist, 1 olay ribbons and that count as the 3 olay products to get the 7 RR ?
      use:
buy 1 secret get 5.00 off
buy 1 renegerist get olay ribbon free
      1.00 off regenerist
1.00 off olay body wash ??

      Thanks !

    • DLZA

Coupons.com has a coupon for Angel Soft save $1 on (1) 12-double roll or larger. That would make the sale even better than what is listed above!!

    • Guest

Does anybody know the exact meanings of the following coupon terms? Is there any formal definition written somewhere? This is not related to Walgreens but I did not know where to post the question.

      1 coupon per person

      1 coupon per customer

1 coupon per customer per purchase?

      Thank you!

      • Mcleodsc

I think one per person and one per customer mean the same thing. You can only use one of a particular coupon per each customer/person.

One coupon per customer per purchase is OPEN to interpretation by the manager or cashier. It could mean one per sale, one per transaction, one per day… It is best to just ask the manager or customer service before attempting a transaction. Sometimes I just take my coupon and cash over to CVS or Rite- aid or even the Dollar General if I think the manager or customer service is just making up rules on the spot. Sometimes the rules vary day by day, cashier by cashier, and store by store. Sorry not much help on this one.

    • MaryB10114

On my Hormel coupon it says $1.50 / 3, not 2. I had just looked at it because i was at the grocery store.

    • Queuepawn

the $1/2 coupon for cheez-its is for 9.75 oz or larger so it won't work with this sale

    • Pdudeck

My Wags doesn't accept Libby's fruit or vegetable coupons for the pumpkin :( It isn't very close to my house, but near the Y, so I don't try to do these deals very often. Usually the good stuff is out of stock.

    • Melissa

Anyone know the zipcode for the stovetop?

    • Dawnbakeringram

Am I the only person on earth who didn't get ANY PGs in my newspaper? I'm new to Louisville….I bought 4 that week, and NOTHING! UGH!

      • MadinLex

I didn't either in Lexington, KY. I complained to the paper and they said they only went to customers that got home delivery on that Sunday. I was livid!

      • Sweetheartface

Assuming your talking about the week of 10-31,I'm also in Louisville (KY), I'm thinking that the PG booklets only came out with home delivery of the newspaper, They were wrapped in the plastic that the paper came in. I saw other papers at the store and didn't see the booklets with them. The week of 11-7 PG did not come out.

    • Chasityc1984

When you get register rewards printed do you have to use them on items made by the same company that gave them out? I have 10.00 from P&G and 3.00 from crest and 4.00 from a razor for my husband. I am not sure how you can use them. I am kinda new to all of this. :)

      • LizA

no, you can use them like cash just be sure to use them before they expire.

      • Dakirk

Chasity, one thing to remember about the RR's, for example, the $3 from Crest…The week of the sale, you could not use this $3 RR that you earned from buying the Crest product to turn around and pay for another Crest product and expect to get the RR. Yes, you could use it to pay for the Crest, but it wouldn't print you out another RR. You would have to use an RR that was generated by another company/product. Hope this helps.

      • Chasityc1984

So I can use them to purchase any other item at walgreens??? I thought you had to use them to purchase and crest item the following week. Do you know if Winn-Dixie accepts register rewards since they are manf. coupons?

    • Heather_chan

cannot find abreva in-ad coupon for $5 off… anyone else find?

      • Diane

This is for the sale that starts this coming Sunday. At the top of this post it says it is for the Walgreens Weekly Ad 11/14 – 11/20.

      • Gail

Got a good deal the other day on abreva at CVS. It was marked down to $17., had a $3 Q from the red box…expired by 2 days but they let me use it, had $5. off $15 for selective health care also from the red box, had 4 ECB, and a $5. Rite Aid video Q, however, since the item was marked down would not let me use the Rite Aid Q…drat…but still $5. was nothing to sneeze at! The Rite Aid Q expires 11/27/10 if you want me to send to you, let me know. I am in Alabama. (email mrsmac1948@yahoo.com)

      • Insider

The Abreva ad coupon for Walgreen's is in the Sale Ad for 11/14-11/20 and it is on page 17 in the bottom right hand corner. It is a $5 off coupon.

    • Marissalmc

So this is probably the wrong place to ask, but I don't know where. I see a lot of coupons listed as “Kroger home mailer”… how do I sign up for these? Is it a store by store thing or the Kroger company as a whole?

      • macboy

It may be connected to their card or they may send it to households in their serviceable areas.

      • Mandi

Don't hold your breath. I've signed up for everything (except the credit card) and I have yet to receive anything.

        • Brinsonnicole98

If you have a Kroger plus card, you can register your card online but you want to make sure your information on your kroger card is correct. If your address is wrong someone else is getting your coupons and there is always something free. This month they have free eggs and butter.

      • I emailed Kroger about this a while back. The reply was that you have to establish a “buying pattern” before you receive the mailers. I have a Kroger card and it is registered, but I don't shop there very often because the closest store is 50 mikes away, so I'll probably never establish a pattern.

    • Mwalker1224

I went to walgreens yesterday and only had two 50 cent RR and the cashier told me I can only use one per order….is this something new or she just don't know her job?

      • kcreviews

As long as you are not buying less items than you have coupons for (one q per item–including RRs), you're okay. This is why Jenny includes fillers in the list–in case you have q's for everything you're buying and still want to use RRs.

    • April6

Just a funny thought yall might want to hear. Went to Walgreens , buggy full, cashier scanned everything, I gave her my coupons. She scanned the first one and then handed me all the others back and told me I could not use any more. I asked why? She said because the first one said “DO NOT DOUBLE”. I asked Are you serious? She did not understand. I then had to explain what that meant. So she said “Ok”. So she starts to scan the second coupon with her eyes closed and head turned to the side like it was going to explode when it scanned. It scanned and she gave a sigh of relief and said that was a close one. I laughed all the way home.

      • macboy

Wow. There really isn't much more to say.

      • speechless….

      • Missy

You should send that one to Walgreens.com or call their customer relations number on the back of your reciept….they could use a good laugh too! :)

      • Mlsshartz

I'm so sorry that I am just reading that now…I needed that laugh….almost brought tears to my eyes :)

      • Julie

Good one! I get a lot of “one per purchase” excuses as if only 1 coupon per entire order. Even if I have 30 different items with 30 different coupons! Dollar General will make you ring all your items separately if using multiple coupons!

    • CouponNERD

I am actually looking forward to this ad! has a few good deals I can use…

    • Jackie Hanson

The Walgreens deal on M&Ms is better than the deal at CVS. CVS is only giving back 3ECB on 4. Walgreens is giving back 5RR on four .

      • lisamarieonssi

plus the m&ms coupons make them 4 bags for $3 !!!

        • carrie

          What M&M coupons?

          • lisamarieonssi

In the 11/14 insert there was a $1.00 off 2 bags, – so you can use 2 coupons for the 4 bags.

            • guest

These were for Holiday M&Ms though. I went today and the normal M&Ms were the only ones included in this deal, so could not use those Q's unfortunatly!

            • lisamarieonssi

I guess they are still a good deal w/o the coupon but I plan on showing them their sale ad which pictures the holiday M & Ms !!! They'll get paid back for the coupons anyway so maybe I can talk them into taking them.

            • Don't know if you've been shopping yet, but when I was in Wags today, The Holiday Peanut & Cordial Cherry were included, but not the pretzel. I did not try the regular, but they are in the ad, so should be included. I bought 3 peanut and one cherry, used 2 coupons, and got $5 RR, so $3 for 4 bags!

            • lisamarieonssi

I went today and the holiday M&Ms were on sale so I didn't even have to show them their sale paper. It is obvious in the picture it's holiday M&Ms. I think your Wal-Greens is wrong, just ask them and show them the ad.

        • Marygreen_rn

          where't he m&M coupon?

          • lisamarieonssi

In the 11/14 insert there was a $1.00 off 2 bags, – so you can use 2 coupons for the 4 bags.

    • lisamarieonssi

Anyone know the cost on the Crest 3d white strips ? $20.00 off seems like a good deal !

      • Brinsonnicole98

I think they are like $50.00, I have a friend interested in these as well.

      • Insider

They are $29.99 at my store, there are several to chose from and they range in price so you could pay from $9.99 to about $20 for them.

    • Cathy

The Campbell's coupon printed for me as $1/4, not $1.50/3. Still seems like a good deal. Anyone else have this?

    • msivory20

      Technical Question for Wags:
Can you use a manufacturer coupon AND a store coupon on an item? I printed coupons from Wags website that say Instant Value at the top and have a number starting with 0. The print underneath says Man. Coupon good only at Walgreens.
For instance: I have a Triaminic coupon for $1 and a Wags coupon issued for the same amount for the same product, but can I use them together?

      • Libby

It depends on your store because my store won't but most wags will…

    • Rhiannon353

Just wondering if transaction #2 is going to work. The coupon is for “$5 off any ONE Olay Bar, Body Wash, In Shower Body Lotion, or Hand & Body Lotion” and the scenario is for 3 cleansers (I'm assuming facial). It doesn't seem like this coupon will work for facial cleansers to me. Just wondered if anyone has tried it (or does Wags not do early sales?).

      • Pachick

It work for me . also sinex could be amonth long deal,

    • Sbmitch

On the Zantac deal about this week, I have a $5 coupon from the paper and the $3 Walgreens ad coupon. Which one do I need to have them scan first?

      • Qqueen

        Always scan mft q first

    • Tiff715

Is sinex included again this week??

      • Rhiannon353

No, I checked my Wags and there was no sale sign on it.

        • Kristy

sometimes they dont put the sales sign up with it but you can always have them do a price check. At my store this did for the first time and it did print the $5 RR

          • Rhiannon353

Hmmm, I wished I'd tried then instead of just buying Dayquil. Last week the Sinex was out all week so I couldn't use my coupons. Hopefully it won't be sold out before I can get back in there!

      • Tiya

Yes I did it today and use the $4 off coupon and got it for the sale price and got my $5 RR.

    • Dianne

I hope this hasn't been asked a hundred times already, but where do you find The Flu is Ready booklet?

      • Guest

its usually like right inside the door on a rack by the weekly ads. These booklets are super awesome if your publix accepts walgreens coupons! HTH

        • Barkleybabe_4

oops, I just realized you might not be talking about the coupon booklet i thought. I was referring to the November walgreens coupon booklet that says Save More Jingle on the front but it talks about the flu on the back so i assumed this was the booklet you were talking about but maybe not…..so sorry if i gave out the wrong info!

      • jhoran

Check by the pharmacy or ask someone who works in the store.

    • JrCouponator

Feeling suspcicious about the free Nivea Body Wash deal 10/23. I got rainchecks but not a bottle at any Walgreens since. One clerk said they re-stocked one day and it was gone in a few hours. Clerk at another store said they are placing orders but never receive. Hope Walgreens didn't decide they're sorry the sale coincided with a great coupon & they just mysteriously won't receive any body wash until after the coupons expire on 11/30. Anyone else having problems…or successes?

      • Insider

They are on order, but you have to remember that not too long ago this same deal was going on, they just get restocked then they have the sale again, and this is every Walgreen's so you know it's hard to get it back in stock. PLUS that exact same sale is coming up again. It has nothing to do with when your coupon expires, they have absolutely no idea when those coupons come out and when they expire.

        • Jrcouponator

That makes me feel a little better. It was starting to feel a little suspect. Guess I won't be getting any body wash this go round as I don't want it at just the “sale” price. Rainchecks will go in the trash. I'll try again another time.

      • Cheri

I have had problems with alot of Walgreens ads. domino sugar a while back and they have yet to get it on there shelves. Now the brown sugar is not available. Although the gain dish soap is 89 cent with coupon and there is a 1.00 coupon in the October P&G which make it free with an overage. I got 20.

    • Diana

Could not find the Lindsay Olive Q in the RP10/17. Did anyone find it for another week?

      • M

Check out Bi-Lo.com There is a store coupon there for the .50 off the olives. If your WG takes competitors coupons, this might work for you.

    • Laura

What is the in store coupon I need to make the french fried onions 99cents?

      • redteapot

The in=store coupons are in their flyer. You will need to cut it out and present with your manufacturer coupons to get it for .49cents each. Hope this helps you.

    • Diana

I an not find the in ad coupon for the crest whitestrips. I also went to my local Walgreens and they could not find it either.

      • BG

Hey Diana. You should look for the November Coupon book that is on a rack right when you walk in the door of your WGs store. It is rectangle in shape and this month it has a green background with red lettering. Good Luck!

        • Diana

I also looked in that book and did not find a coupon.

      • macboy

They were in my ad. You can go to the website and print out the coupon from the circular online. My Wags has taken a printed store coupon before. Anyway, does that $10 off store coupon with the $7 coupon make the Whitestrips a good deal? Every time I go to the dentist, the hygienist tells me to look into bleaching but to try the OTC stuff first. I keep saying, “i will look into it”…

    • Cindy

There is a man. Q for $2 of triaminic product in the Flu booklet from Publix, also there is a Q for free Nivea lip care product wyb Triaminic product. I don't remember which insert. Will make them both 3.99.

    • Nita Royal

The freebie for Ecotrin seems to be limitless! I used the store Q to make it 1.99, and the $2 off to get them for free. When I brought home the 3 boxes to my hubby, he decided to open them and consolidate the bottles to save space. Surprise – inside each box is printed another $2 off coupon!

      • Firstbrownie

I thought so too…….until I read the fine print; coupon in box says 60 ct. or larger and the ones on sale are 45 ct.; Oh well, I still was able to get several free bottles with the coupons I did have.

        • Nita Royal

OOPS – thanks for pointing that out! I did already use some, and they took them – now I feel a little guilty.

          • Firstbrownie

lol….you didn't know and obviously the register took it!

      • Heather

I just came from Walgreen trying the Ecotrin deal and they said I couldnt' use the $2 coupon since it was $1.99. The manager came over and started getting an attititude with me. I was like you haven't had noone else in here trying to get these with the coupon as well. No m'am. It got me so frustrated. So I'm glad to see that Walgreens does let you do this. Even though I was told they can't make the coupon down to the 1.99 sale price. Okay i'm off my soap box. I'm new at this and I felt like an idiot!

        • cara

Heather, that used to happen to me all the time. I finally filled out a complaint form on Walgreens.com, which asked me to name the specific store. I got a call from that store manager soon after and she said she hadn’t realized the employees and other managers there didn’t understand the policy and would make sure they understood. She was actually very nice.

So they definitely are allowed and encouraged to change the manufacturer’s coupon value down to what they can accept. A lot of the employees and managers just don’t know this.

    • I had a great trip to Wags today. I bought 2 Sinex, 3 Ecotrin, 4 M&M's, 1 Kids-EEZE. I started with $7 RR, paid 9.61 (including tax), and got back $15 RR. That makes $1.61 total for everything.

      • Insider

The Nyquil and Dayquil will be on sale again the week of 11/28-12/4 so if you still have those $4 Sinex coupons left and they don't expire before then you can save them for that sale, then it would be like a $3 profit when it prints out the $5 RR.

    • Tiff715

Just an FYI, I saw the ad for next week and huggies are going to be on sale for $8.99 and get $2 RR.

I always try to look ahead for the diaper deals

      • Michelle

RA has the same price this week with $3 UP points…..if there's one near you.. :)

      • Insider

The Huggies will be on sale again the week after that (11/28-12/4), It will be for the larger quantity packs though, 56-76 count, on sale for $17.99 get back $1 RR. Pampers 20-50 count will be on sale the same week of 11/28-12-4 for $7.99 get back $1 RR.

      • aandfmomma

This week at Rite Aide, Pampers and Huggies are on sale for 8.99 w/$3.00 back in store rewards. There are also 2.00/off coupons from a recent paper…not sure which one.

    • Ilovewdw

I got: 2 DiGeornio Pizzas (these are my treat instead of delivery….but I hate to pay full price for them!), 2 Au Gratin Potatoes, 1 Gain dish soap, 2 french fried onions, 4 hormel chilis…..used all the match ups with no problems…..and I had $6 in RR from the Schick deal last week. So spent $10.24 OOP including sales tax & saved $23.24 and left with $1 RR for next week.

    • redteapot

These are some things I discovered that weren't in the deals that Jenny posted.
I found some .25 off any one Puffs in my binder. Exp 11/30/10. I am not sure which flyer it came from because I cut mine but it is out there and makes the puffs .64 each. I also found some 1.25/2 for any Ziploc bags. Makes them 1.24 each with in-store Q.and the Scotch tape is a good deal at .49 with a -1.00/3 Manf.Q.
Hope this helps. I can't wait to go to Walgreens tomorrow. Hope all are in stock.

    • redteapot

-1.00/3 Scotch tape Manf. Q makes it 16 cents each in my area. Expires 11/19/10 but not sure which weekly flyer I cut from.

    • Christie

I know these are on sale at Walgreens, but the Energizer Batteries are 100% back in rewards this week at Office Depot for a 20 pk., at $12.99. Limit 2.

    • simone

Save your rr for next week its going to be lots n lots of deals especially free deals (walgreens employee)

      • Pat

I saw the ad for next week and I'm having a hard time figuring out all the good deals you are talking about. Not many register rewards. So what do you have to say about that?!!!!!!!!!!

        • Mcleodsc

          What deals??

          • Pat

I have a copy of next weeks ad. I did not see many great deals. Not many RR's . Maybe there is a special ad for black friday? Hope so . Somewhere I heard about 5 off of 25. but I dont know?

            • Insider

I was going to head into Walgreens today, but while going over my coupons I noticed that the deal idea and coupons don't match. **Deal Idea**
      Buy:
      (3) Secret Travel Size $1 (kept next to regular secret)
      (3) Olay Skin Cleansers $7 ea
      Use:
      (3) -$5 off Olay product WYB Secret product, PG 10/31
      Total Due: $9
Get Back: $7 RR, makes it 33¢ ea
      ****************

-$5 off Olay bar, body wash, In Shower body lotion or hand and body lotion WYB Secret product, PG 10/31

The coupon doesn't include skin cleansers. So now what? Has anyone done this?

      • Michelle

I noticed this too. But I found olay body wash for 4.99 and the trial size secret for 1.00 and used the coupon and it worked so $1.00 for both.

I need suggestions from somebody out there in the know, so to speak. I see all the deals and comments about using RR to pay for items and getting RR in return. My Walgreens here in Beaufort (at least 1 of them) tells me I cannot use RR's to pay for items and expect to get RR's in return. No qualifiers, no exceptions, just bottom line. I even mean if it is a different manufacturer of the RR's because I know they cannot be used to purchase items from the same manufacturer. It doesn't matter if I use or don't use regular newspaper or internet coupons. I remember in the past using the RR's and getting RR's in return. I have even spoken to the manager and he says the same thing. Cannot be done. I cannot use RR's and expect to get RR's in return. Does anybody know if this is a store by store policy or corporate policy or what? I had called corporate to begin with and they just refered me to the manager. Thanks for any input.

This is a tough question to answer because it will depend on several things. In MOST cases you can use a RR or Manufacturer Q towards any product that will produce a RR when purchased as long as the RR you are using is not the same company as the product you are buying. HOWEVER, that being said it also depends on the company and what kind of sale it is. On some products if you are suppose to get a $5 RR back from your purchase and you use a $5 RR towards the purchase, even if different companies, then you could not get the RR on the product you are buying. Also, if you are getting an item on sale and it specifies a certain amount and you use a RR you might not get the RR back on the purchase. For example, if you try to purchase an item that is listed for 2/$10 , get a $5RR so it's like paying 2/$5 and for some reason (any other kind of discount) it rings as 2/$9.50 then you will not receive the RR no matter what you do use or don't use towards the purchase. So in saying that and probably confusing you (sorry) I would recommend to not use the same company RR towards the same company purchases and if the clerk or manager tells you it won't print then tell them you will take your chances with it. If the RR prints it has nothing to do with the clerk or management. They can or can not make it print. BUT if it does print they MUST give the RR to you, they can not keep it or trash it, it is their policy and the clerk will be fired. Good Luck.

I just learned this and it's kind of frustrating b/c it's only a “sometimes”. I go on Tuesdays b/c I get 15% military discount. I went two weeks ago and did the dayquil deal twice, so with the discount it rang up $8.50 for 2 and then with 2 x 1.50 MQ's I paid 5.50 OOP and got back 5 RR. Well, I did it this week and no RR. The store manager came over and said, “just for grins and giggles let's run it through without the military discount and see if the RR prints” (this was on sinex which wasn't listed in the ad) and it did print! So, the manager was super nice and gave me that RR, but now I now for in the future that I might get my RR's and I might not. I had also bought the sodas and the kids EEZE with my discount and got those RR's so it's pretty confusing/hit or miss.

Thanks. I understand what you are saying but my store is saying they don't care if it is the same manufacturer or not. I only asked a cashier if I could do it incase something got messed up and it was suppose to print an RR and it didn't then I would have something to back me up so to speak. They are just flat out saying if you use a RR to pay for something and are expecting to get RR's in return they will not print. Never any explanation as to, well depends on manufacture, depends on…….. Just a flat out no and I have bought things with a RR(different manufacturer) and did not receive a RR in return and questioned it. That is how I knew there was a problem starting because I had done it in the past many times. Thanks for the info though. I'm afraid to try again with the hostile cashiers.

I also had a frustrating experience with the register rewards because they have so many limitations…not good on dairy…counts as “coupon” and total # of coupons can't exceed # of items, etc. BUT my CVS in Florida WILL take them. So, anyway, now I don't even worry about the Walgreens restrictions and unless I see something that I really need from WAGS, I just spend them @ CVS where they are so much easier to work with. I don't know if this policy extends to all CVS stores or not but it's worth asking about. Good luck!

I had an interesting experience at my local Wags a couple weeks ago. It was a busy week for me and I didn't end up shopping there until a couple hours before closing on Saturday (wanted to take advantage of the week's deals before they ended!). Practically everything I wanted to get didn't have correct price tags on them saying they were “on sale” at the shelves. Turns out, my Wags doesn't have a night stock team, so late on Saturdays they start to take down the sale adds for the week before and put up the sale signs for the next week…but the computer isn't updated yet. It was very confusing until I figured that out. So, if you shop late on Saturday, don't be discouraged if the things you think are on sale don't look like they are. Just do a price check before committing to the sale. :)

That is not necessarily true for all Walgreen's. My local store puts the new signs up around lunch time on Saturday but BOTH sales are active, in other words the week of and the next weeks sale are both active and you can get amazing deals. The computers have a setting on them that can allow them to be set at what time they want the sales to actually start, so if they put the signs up before the sale starts it's their mistake it has nothing to do with what they can actually do. So not all Walgreen's do this, maybe try another one.

I usually don't shop Wags, so I have 6 in RRs that I let expire a few days ago… do they still take the expired ones??

    • Greatdanejes

Didn't see it listed here but I was able to get the Arm & Hammer Spinbrush B1G1 with (2) $2 coupons = Total $4.49!

I got a great deal on the Phillips Sonicare Essence Rechargeable toothbrush. It only has one brush head. The sale price is $39.99(retails $77.00 although they listed a different retail price in the weekly ad) and used my $10 off any manufacturers coupon. Then it printed $5 off any one multi-pack brush head coupon. I have a $10 rebate I will send in. So, my final cost after tax and the rebate is $22.39. I also have a $5 manufacturers coupon for brush heads for future purchase. They also have the same sale price at Rite Aid. So, I am very excited to continue finding my great deals.

    • Teresa Morgan

In my previous post I said Rite Aid had the same sale price. Actually, their sale price is $34.99. So, it's a better deal.
