      Hi Jenny,
I went to Walgreens this afternoon and did very well with coupons & RR combined with the 15% discount…Thank YOU!!! I had one of the sales people ask me how I got such good deals, I ended up leaving her with the Walgreens match up list I printed off your site so she could get some deals too!!!

    • Susan Stevens

I so looking forward to the Purex deal! I haven't every used it before but some friends do and .99 laundry detergent is hard to pass up!

      • Shannon

It's really a good detergent. .99 is insane! I love it. Glad I didn't get the $1.99 Purex at HT this week.

        • MIchelle

I am really excited about this one too, I have been saving my coupon hoping the 2.99 sale would come back, and now I am all set

        • Jmcgrawmt

it says with in-ad coupon. Does that mean that if I want to buy 10, I have to have 10 in-ad coupons to go with my manufacturer coupons?

          • Anytime I have used an in-ad coupon they just scan it right from the sales flyer as long as I mention it. Then use the same one over and over without cutting it out.

      • Shannon

It's really a good detergent. .99 is insane! I love it. Glad I didn't get the $1.99 Purex at HT this week.

      • Lisa

If you have a Target near you, I would go there for Purex, I was able to get them for free!! I used the $2.00 off coupon from the paper and a $1.00 off from target.com and the Purex was $2.99 so it was FREE!!

    • Amgtt_18

The month long deals are those all through April?

    • SB

I can't find the Jergens deal in the paper, am I missing it or is this the same deal advertised earlier. I tried it today at Walgreens and did not get the 5RR, but I needed some lotion and it wasn't a bad deal.

      • Guest

I think the Jergens deal ended on March 26. Not sure why it's showing in the list above.

      • Cathy

I tried the Jergens deal today too – since it was listed as a month long deal. RR didn't print for me. :( Bummer!

        • Debidobbs

A sales lady gave me one at the store …worth asking at your store I'm new at this also..

          • Debidobbs

i hit reply in wrong place….ask for 1 at the store …..and sorry Cathy

        • Kristina

I also tried it and it didn't work. Will it work starting Sunday?

    • Katie

When I went to the Sample Showcase website and asked for a free sample of Purex, it gave me the option to get a coupon instead of a sample. It gave me $1.50 off of Purex with Zout, just FYI. HTH.

      • guest

Thanks Katie!! I had already printed the softener coupon, but that coupon is even better since it is on sale!! :)

    • savinmavin

Went to WAGs today got 2 Red Baron pizzas, 2 soft soap body wash, sinex, puffs tissurs, 2 colgate tooth paste, 2 easter cups, carmex hand lotion, 24 Dasani, 2 packs of 5 gum all for only $2.16. Earned $4 in RR's great deals with the 15% off coupons.

      • savinmavin

Oh forgot to add the 2 boxes of Dominos brown sugars.

    • MelRae

Hey Jenny, I think the Pampers deal is even better than you have listed. If you factor in the $2 off Wags Infant care coupon, then then total due is $12.47 (I think I have that right!)

      • Laurel

Yes, this is what I figured, too. After the $5 RR, that makes it $7.47 for all 3 products (2 diapers and 1 wipes). Awesome deal!

    • guest

      Wouldn't the scott paper towel deal be $3 instead? $5.00-$1 man.q -$1 store q?

      • sealey5

I was just about to copy and paste the exact Scott deal as well. I thought it would be $3 also. Not a bad price for a 6 pk of paper towels (especially if you already have RR's racking up, lol) :)

      • Tim

Found a printable man q from Scott for $1.50 off plus the in store q would make it $2.50! Go to scottbrand.com and click on Scott Savings.

    • Sey216

Went to Walgreens on Devine St. in Columbia, SC tonight. Assistant manager wouldn't let me use my coupons on deodorant, even though they did not exceed the value of the purchase, then my RR for the “buy $10 worth of travel products” deal wouldn't print because he applied the family & friends discount on the items before he rang them up. He was a total jerk to me, and the people in line behind me trying to ask him a question about shampoo.

      • lucy

same thing has happened to me on devine st! i switched to wags in 5 points and got ripped off a few weeks ago on deodorant. new guy also started working register and complains about coupons everytime i approach him with a purchase. i am about to give up on this store all together!

    • Savvy62488

So my Walgreens would not accept any competitor's coupons… Are the rules for each location different?

      • msivory20

Yep! Neither my Wags or my CVS accept competitor's anything :o/

    • Crm0525

Hey. I am very new to couponing. Quickly becoming addicted though. I have never been to Walgreen's. We don't have one in the county, but I plan on being in Gaffney tomorrow & thought I would go by there. Can someone tell me where the store coupons are located? Is it in there sale paper or do I have to sign up for them, etc? Thanks in advance

      • Brooke

They are in the ad paper and in a coupon book located at the front of the store. There are some coupon books I have yet to locate…..lol

      • Jnn_horan

At the front of the store by where they have the sale ads….the new coupon booklet came out last sunday for month of april.

      • ChrissyPunkin

I have to warn you that Walgreens is the most complicated. I'm not trying to discourage you, but I only go in there if it is a super deal. They don't have a card like the others so there aren't limits, but one thing to remember is that you can't have more manufacturer coupons than items. RRs are considered manufacturer coupons. That is why Jenny lists a filler item. Start slowly, like Jenny recommends, and you'll be fine!

    • need some help

does anyone know where to get the proctor and gamble 110 book?

      • Katie

it was a rebate offer when you spent $50 (i believe) in P&G products around the end of 2010. They sent you a booklet with coupons expiring in February, April, and June

      • Gatorginger

Try going to the protor and gamble web site, I did the rebate thing and got one but I also requested one on the site and got another so give it a try

    • KA

I had a walgreens cashier/manager today who would not accept (2) $1 off degree coupons when i purchased 2 degree deodorants. She told me that the coupon states “one per purchase” even though I tried to explain to her ' one per ITEM purchased.' Has anyone else had this problem? Dont want to contact customer service because you cant leave a comment without your name/address/phone number and then they call you. Its frustrating, but not worth that. It was not an issue of the # of coupons/ # of items, but simply because it beeped she wouldnt take it, and said that she would lose her job if she over-rode it.

      • Jennydh

The monthly coupon booklet is with the weekly sales ad at front of store and sometimes also at the pharmacy. The Spring beauty coupon booklet is at the cosmetics counter. The infant care booklet (if there are any more) was on the baby aisle near the diapers

      • RebeccaFer

This is a standard problem because most people (myself included before I started couponing) don't know the difference between purchase and transaction. If it would say something like only coupon per item purchased, that would solve things. It's frustrating to say the least. I would have asked her to call the manager to see if they could solve the problem. I can't stand cashiers who tell you that they are going to lose their job though. I highly doubt anyone could be fired for something like that and if they did, I'm thinking they've got some kind of crazy boss! Sorry you had this issue.

        • Susanizanurse

Same exact issue I had at Walmart last week with the $3 Gain coupons. I bought 7 boxes of dryer sheets & had 7 $3/1 coupons. The cashier said I'd have to do 7 transactions. I told her “no thanks” & tried to explain the coupon wording to her as clearly as possible, but after another cashier & a CS rep said the same thing, I told them to void the transaction, return my coupons, & that I'd contact corporate, which I did upon my arrival home. I rec'd a call from the store manager about this on Monday. It is a VERY COMMON problem w/ cashier at all stores I've found!

    • scombs

Was in Walgreen this evening and Purex sheets are at 3.89…………….might check your stores

    • The5heads

Tried the Curel deal today didn't get the $5 RR? Is there anything I can do? It shows that it is a month long deal on here?

      • Yeah I did the Biore today, the manager told me it was last month's deal…Not this month. It would've switched over on the 1st. I've been trying to find an old ad that had it so I could take it in and show them if it has a date on it that still shows its good. OTHERWISE, I'm suspecting ALL of the month long deals posted here are expired and need to be disregarded.

    • Lcmlee99

Looking for the $2 off Revlon Beauty tools coupon mentioned in Jenny's scenario – link didn't work for me. Any suggestions?

      • Mlg Cmg

it was on the Target site where the coupons are. it is not a Target coupon it is a manufacture q.

        • Imousework

I couldn’t find it; I only found $1.00 Revlon cosmetics item.

      • Leaz

I couldn't find it either. Did you have any luck?

    • I also tried the Jergens deal with no success. Where do you find the monthly deals? I've found different blogs that list them, but I can't find them on anything “official.” One website listed that the deal ended 3/26, but another couple of them say it goes on for 3/27-end of April sometime.

      • Guest

I also didn't get my RR from the Jergens deal. When I called the Catalina company, they said it was because the deal ended 3/26. Maybe it's going to start up again on 4/3, I don't know.

        • Ami

I went in to Walgreens yesterday and the manager said it ended 3/26. So I returned the items as well.

      • Savemoney08

It happened to me yesterday. I called catalina number and they said it ended 3/26 :( I actually called again this morning and got answered the same thing :(

      • Megz

Month long deals run the same dates as the Instant Value Coupon book. Check the dates on that coupon book & you will know the dates for the month long deal. Also, if you read the tags that are on the product that state the deal they SHOULD have the dates the deal is good for printed on them.

    • sealey5

      Got a question for y'all: Hershey’s Candy 1.4-2.5 oz, 39¢
      -$1/2 Hershey’s Reese’s or Cadbury centerpiece items, 2 oz +, SS 4/03
      (makes it FREE)

Wouldn't this be a 22 cent overage that could be applied to something else?

    • Bamagirl43

My add also had Wonka Exceptionals Bars 2/$3. There were $1/1 coupons not long ago, making them .50 cents each!

    • Kenzbug

Why does the Walgreens ad not list the month long deals? I saw a lot of comments where the one listed above were expired. How do we find the month long deals for April?

    • msivory20

I just love it when the customer behind me in line says “Wow” when they see my total due at the end of a transaction :) Its like enjoying a little miracle once a week.

    • Ok I have a couple questions….I have been reading through everyones comments and it seems that the month long sales are over…is that what everyone has figured out the hard way? I dont want to start cutting coupons for things that are not going to work. Also on the Always month long deal it says “$4 RR WYB (2) Always Leakguard Plus 20-22 ct or Liners 30-34 ct $3 ea” and the coupon suggested to use with it…the $1. off coupon is for 38 count or higher. So those coupons from 3/20 RP wouldn't even work right? But since its in the month long deal I am assuming it doesn't matter anyway?

      • Kenzbug

I think the ones listed above are over. Surely there is another for April but I don't know how to find it. I did find a good deal on a blog I found that said the Chinet Plates are a month long deal until 4/30. B1G1 for $2.99. Sign up at Chinet website & they will email you a coupon for $1 off any 1. Print 2 get them for .50 each.

        • Awesome ty! Yeah wish I knew where to find Aprils deals.

        • This what I have found so far…

I got the always pads today, they are still going on :)

    • Crickettjd

Just a tip for Walgreens shoppers:
The people @ my Walgreens are so great. I had some $2 off coupons for lotion last month that were going to run out the day before the big sale started the next day. I went in to my local Walgreens and the girl told me to come back that evening after 5pm; that is when they start putting out all the new sales prices on the shelves, and the registers are reset to the sales that start the next day. If I come in then I can use the coupons for tomorrows sales ad and the register should allow me to use the coupons that expired that day. She said if it didn't work they would fix it for me. It worked just as she said it would. So in the future if you have coupons that are going to run out before that big sale starts the next day do what I did and save yourself some time and money.
Since Jenny has made it so easy for us to see the ads before they come out the next week I was able to save myself more money. Thanks Jenny for all your hard work.

    • ChrissyPunkin

Quick question. I am interested in the Venus razor deal and the Always pads deal. Can I just keep doing those deals until I run out of coupons if I do them in alternating order? Do the Venus, then the Always, then Venus again, etc.? I understand I will need fillers.

      • As long as there is no limit thats what I have been doing. Even if there is a limit since there is no member card like at CVS they really have no way of knowing how many you get. Hope this helps ;)

        • ChrissyPunkin

OK, thanks. I don't plan on clearing the shelf or anything, and if there are people behind me I always get back in line for the next transaction. I just don't do Walgreens that much so I wasn't sure.

      • Lzbacnik

        yes you can

      • Katie

arent they both Proctor and Gamble products? you can use a P&G RR for another P&G item, but the register reward wont print. I am not sure if they are or not, but you need to roll your RR into 2 products from different manufacturers. The RR usually say “courtesy of proctor & gamble” etc on them

        • Anonymous

OK, that’s what I was wondering. Thanks!

    • With the $3RR when you buy $10. worth of items….is that $10. before coupons?

      • sealey5

        yes it is

    • Kjscortez

I'm new to couponing….what are the FILLERS for?

      • At Walgreens you have to have the same amount of items that you have coupons. Which also includes the RR coupons. So for example if you have 1 coupon for shampoo and 1 bottle of shampoo yet you also have a RR to cover the balance then you would have to buy a cheap filler item so that you could use both the coupon and the RR. Hope that makes sense.

        • Kjscortez

Okay thanks! That makes perfect sense to me, thank you for explaining!!

    • Lorraine

Please let me know if there certain Walgreen stores that have the B1G1 Zyrtec? I tried the local Walgreens, but they said they were unaware of this special?
      Thanks.
      Lorraine

Great filler item: my WG has small Easter tins clearanced to 25cents. Great to give away, I am going to keep the extras for shower gifts (the ones that are pastel, but don't read “Easter”) they're a great size to slip a couple of sweets or even a gift card into.

I was at Walgreen's Friday and was going to get the 2 Jergens lotion @ $4.29 and use the $3.00 coupon. The sales clerk told me that was last months deal. Where do you find out in print the month long deals?

      Thanks,
      Phyllis

      • Charmainepinto

I DID IT TODAY THE JERGENS DEAL AND IT DIDNT PRINT A R.R. SO SAD

        • Couponcuttingsaver

I had the same problem today but I brought it to cashiers attention. I showed her the signs on the product and in the paper and told her how many rewards i was supposed to have and she went right to the register and printed out another ticket with the rest of my register rewards.

          • Kristen

The monthly deals booklet should be on a rack along with the weekly sales adds. If your Walgreen's doesn't have them out, just tell them could they please give you one of the montly coupon bookletts. If they don't have them, (which happens the first few days at the start of the sales book at times, due to shipping issues), call around to a few walgreens and ask them if they have one.

        • Alabalatu

I did it too but ended up returning the items… no RR printed :(

        • Jlcasey4

If you are suposed to recieve a register rewards, you should alwyas call for a manager. They will give you the RR is cash off a product.

    • Letty391

Can some one tell me where I can find the Get More From Your Pharmacy booklet please. Thanks

      • 2kiddosmommy

I'm not 100% positive, but from my understanding, I think this was a booklet that was at Kroger's Pharmacy counter at one time. At least that's what some responses have been when people have asked this question before. :) I don't have the booklet so I can't say for sure!!

        • Letty391

          Thanks :)

    • Amymmhc

I went to Walgreens today and the clerk at the make up counter gave me a coupon for a full size John Frieda Foam hair color. An 11.99 Freebie!

      • Amandaf2004

there's also a $2 RR on this product. Not only do you get it for free but you $2 coupon back! :D

        • Amymmhc

Yep I got the 2 dollar RR!

    • harolyn

I have seen no mention about this booklet. Get Your Bunnys worth. Picked it up at Walgreens Beauty counter over $235.00 in coupons

      • msivory20

I think that is what Jenny refers to as the April Wags Booklet :)

    • Wellsbiz

Thank you so much for providing this weekly list. One question as a newbie: Tonight a manager told me that he was not allowed to accept both a printable coupon for ($2.00), in addition to a newspaper insert coupon (1.50) toward a Opti-free Replenish Contact Solution 2-pack that was on sale. (Even though I had fillers). He said only one manufacturer coupon per item. Was he wrong? I was trying to use both as this is how I thought this whole thing worked…

Also, I'm interested in possibly using a clipping service but curious about average costs… Any guess as to what the going rate is for 5x the weekend inserts (as a whole, uncut) would cost? And then those same 5 coupon sets clipped?

      • LindaB

He was right, one manufacturer coupon per item. You can look at the coupon itself to determine if it is a manufacturer coupon. It will state it at the top of the coupon. and the number will usually begin with a 5. If there is a store coupon available then you can use it too. (As in the Walgreens monthly booklet) You need to have 'fillers' when shopping Walgreens. That is a small item that is the least cost you can find. This brings your total of coupons to the total amount of items you buy to make you eligible for your RR's. You can always refer back to Jenny's tutorials on drugstore shopping to refresh your skills, I used it all the time when I was getting started.
As for the clipping service. I don't use them. I buy my extra newspapers with my RR's. Personally, I usually never leave Walgreens with RR's in my pocket, they expire too soon. I buy items that we use that you can't seem to find coupons for. But everyone uses their RR's in different ways that best suits their needs.

        • Wellsbiz

Thank you so much Linda! Well, I'm taking it alot better coming from you, than by that manager who I thought was trying to pull something over on me, LOL! =) Thank you for all of your great advice and I'm so grateful for finding such a helpful community!

          • Calpurnia78

I just started too. I bought some coupons on ebay for $2 including shipping. I bought a variety of 100 assorted. It def paid off. But instead of doing that from now on if there is a great deal, like the osteo bi flex pubix coupon on $6, I knew there was also a mfg coupon for $6 floating around- so I searched on ebay and bought 10 of them on ebay for $2. I also just bought 10 razor coupons for $3 off. That cost me $1.65 but Im going to do the razor deal multiple times now. All the ebay sellers are couponers themselves and will get them in the mail quick.

            • Susanizanurse

The 1st coupons I ever bought were Colgate Total coupons & I bought them off Ebay. I bought them right after I took a coupon class last spring. I bought a lot of 20 of them & they expired 12/31/10 so I knew I'd get great use out of them the remainder of the year and I did! I used 19 of them before 12/31/10! I think I paid $2 for them too!

            • Wellsbiz

Great idea! I'm starting to get the hang of it…

        • haha, I do the same with my RR's(buying papers) this way I don't have to think about the using the RR on same brand thing… I get 5-6papers depending on deals that week.

      • Tammie

Couponing clipping service: put it in the search at the top of Jenny's site and you will find where she wrote about it. When you look at the sites, some have a minimum of the coupon that you have to buy and possibly a small s/h fee. I have never done this, but have wondered. I don't know about whole inserts. I have also heard of people buying off of Ebay.

        • Wellsbiz

Thanks for the tip Tammie! (I tried Ebay last week and was thrilled to receive them…until I received a 7 page Red Plum instead of a 20 page one, like from the Houston Chronicle). When I asked the seller about it, she said that every region was different and that I should have read her description where she listed the 6 or so coupons that were in it. =(

          • Guest

The seller would be correct. Each region has a variance in the coupons that are included in their area. And you should always read the description area where they list the coupons that will be in their insert along with the value of the coupon. Coupon values also change depending on what region they are in. Jenny has an area on here that will show you the different coupon variances that are updated weekly. The Insert Preview that is posted each week shows you what coupons are being released for that week, doesn't always mean it will make it into an insert in every region. As far as my region, I have yet to have a week where I get every single coupon that is to be released. It would be great if they would, But they don't.

            • Wellsbiz

Thank you for the tips, I see the error of my ways and I'm learning more and more everyday. =)

          • Wellsbiz

Yes, the seller was ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. I say this because I was definitely the one in the wrong. She's a really cool person and I'm grateful for her and all of you helping me get trained on the couponing path.

      • Susanizanurse

I buy whole inserts and have done so since Aug 2010. It simply took too much of my time to cut & file coupons each week so I buy inserts & file by the insert. When I plan my shopping trips, I cut the needed coupons & head out. It's just simpler for me but this does not work for everyone. I receive 5 sets of each Sunday insert from the Pittsburgh area. For me, I find the inserts from the northeast better suit my needs & are the higher value coupons. If I don't have a coupon that I want, like the $2 Smart Balance coupon, I order from a clipping service but I don't do this often. I have also bought off Ebay but I am very careful to read the list of coupons provided by the seller before I buy. I have a standing account with an insert seller that costs me on avg $40-$45/month. I pay by the month & know that I will receive 5 sets of each Sunday insert without fail. Again, this is easier for me as I do not spend my time hunting inserts down, buying newspapers, watching Ebay auctions, forgetting to get my inserts then finding this out when a sale hits & I need them, etc… This works out great for me as I make infrequent, large shopping trips (think living in the boonies w/ no Publix, Kroger, etc.. remotely close to me!) where it is not uncommon at all for me to SAVE $350-$450 at a time (I saved $421 last week when I shopped at Publix). I don't like clipping services b/c you have to buy a minimum amt. I like Ebay since there's no minimum; however, the prices on Ebay can really stink for a hot coupons (the Smart Balance auctions for the $2 qs had BINs of $7 & >!). Anyway.. just my 2 cents on how much it costs me for inserts! HTH!

        • Wellsbiz

          Thank you Susan! =)

        • Xmandys

Would you mind sharing which site you get your inserts from. I would love to do a standing order. Thanks in advance!

      • Kristen

I don't know anything about the clipping service, but you can only use one manufacturer coupon per item. So you had the Contact solution, and two manufacturer coupons for that solution. They both count for only the solution, and won't work for other items. Once the cashier scans the first manufacturer coupon, the item the coupon was for becomes 'invisable' to other manufacturer coupons, and the register will say “No Item for Coupon” or something along those lines when you scan another manufactuere one. But you CAN use walgreens coupons for the same item, there's no limit on those.

      • gjf

YOU are able to use 1 store and 1 manufacturers cpn. If you are using a RR and you have a mfr. cpn for the item you are buying and u want to use the RR and the mfr because they are both mfr cpns then u will then need a filler=) It will work as long as the total exceeds the amount of the RR. Hope this helps!!

    • Ashley

Does anyone have the coupon code off of the infant care booklet for the pampers? My walgreens cashier said she would just type in the code for me because they don't keep their own walgreens coupons. I used to have them but used them up and forgot to ask if I could keep them. Thanks!

      • Amandaf2004

        just tell her #5521

        • Ashley

          Thanks so much!!

      • angela

the coupon code is not listed but the upc on it is 0-0000005521-5 if she punches it in it should reconize it as a walgreens coupon.

      • gj

U only need this 4 digit #5521. I work @ walgreens and we just throw walgreens cpns away unless it says to keep(which is the ones for the vendors product…ex..pepsi things like that) Here is the Huggies wipes (184- 216ct) #5519. This takes $2.00 off 1 pk. Here is the cpn #2844 for the Walgreens Brand Jumbo pks $2.00 off each pk. Hope this helps=)

    • Chollylee

does any one know t he zip code for the $2.00 off aleve?

      • Strausstr

        try 48507

    • Lauren

I have a coupon policy question.. I read the coupon policy, but I want to know if you can use multiple manuf. coupons for 1 item b/c it sounds like you cant. Ex: Downy $3.99, can I use (2) $1.00 off downy coupons, and (1) $.25 for just ONE bottle of the downy which would make it, $1.74???? I haven't done Walgreen's yet, just CVS, and their ad this week seemed good if that was the case.

      • Isu2014

You can only use 1 man. coupon and 1 store coupon per item purchased. Also at Walgreens, you must have more items than coupons. So if you bought 1 bottle of downy, you could use 1 $1 off and 1 .25 off (if one coupon is a man. and one coupon is a store) , but you would need to buy a filler item, like a .10 candy to use both coupons.

        • Lauren

Thank you!! That totally stinks.. I am not sure Walgreens shopping is worth the time then. I am currently doing CVS only! Thanks so much for your help!

          • tygirl13

Actually you have to have the same number of items as you do Manufacturer coupons. Store coupons don't count. As with all coupons, you can only have one Manufacturer coupon per item. The only time that you need fillers at WG is if you are using a RR and have a coupon for all the other items you are buying. The RR is actually a manufacturer coupon; therefore, you have to have an item for it to attach to. For example, on transaction three Jenny needs a filler to be able to use the RR because she has three manufacturer coupons and three items. HTH.

        • Actually if 1 is a store coupon you don't need a filler. Store Q dont count as Reg. Manf. coupons only Manf and RR count as coupons per items

    • Candace

      Buy:
      (2) Pampers Diapers $8.99
      (1) Pampers Wipes $2.49
      Use:
      (2) -$1.50 off Pampers diapers or pants, PG 4/03
-$1 off Pampers product, Proctor & Gamble $110 booklet
      Total Due: $16.47
      Get Back: $5 RR

You can also use the $2/1 Pampers coupon from the Walgreen's Infant Care book to make it $14.47.

      • Melanie

REALLY DISAPPOINTED! I was so excited with the Pampers deal and the RR is $5 off your next Pampers purchase only… It's still a great deal but I like to decide how to spend my RR!! This happened last week on the candy deal (RR was good on your next candy purchase.) Is this a sign of things to come with Wags??

        • Kristen

As far as I know, RRs have always been good only on your next purchase. They only print after the transaction is complete, and if you return the item, you have to surrender your RR, or can only receive your money back for the total price of the item, minus the amount of the RR. I think this has always been how it works, at least, it has been for as long as I've shopped at Walgreens (about a year and a half).

          • sealey5

I think what Melanie was saying was the RR's that are printing out from the Pampers deal are only good toward another Pampers item, not any old thing she wants. That's what i'm understanding anyways.

      • angela

you should be able to use 2/$2 pampers coupons from infant booklet making it $12.47

      • Bellalisa3

It almost makes me wish my kids were little again to get all these free diapers…well …almost!

    • Tasha010986

does anyone know if the travel size items are still on sale?

      • Isu2014

I think that was just last week, because it was in the weekly ad and those run Sunday-Saturday.

    • JrCouponator

Can someone tell me what the Spring Beauty Guide Book is?

      • msivory20

It is a coupon booklet that Wags put out about a month ago at their beauty counters. You could ask a cashier to hunt one down for you if they still have them at your store.

      • Gatorginger

THey are usually located at the cosmetics counter

    • Jnester

How do you get the monthly Walgreens coupon booklet?

      • Tammy

In the store right by the sale paper:)

        • Jnester

Thanks so much. New to Walgreens, but will definately become a regular.

    • Gkeller5

HELP!!!!! Transaction #1 Said, Alway Leakguard plus Pads @ Walgreen's are $3.00 but my paper for Walgreen's said the sale price is $6.99. Jenny said you get back $4 in RR but my paper said you get $2 in RR. HELP PLEASE

      • Kristina

The ones that are normally $3.49 – $3.99 (20 -22 ct) are the ones that are on sale for $3.00, if you buy 2 you get the RR's back.

        • GrammarDiva

Well, I tried to do that deal. They rung up at $3 each but I only got a Catalina for Carefree, not $4 in RR. I was not happy …

          • Karen

I did that “month long” deal on Friday, 4/1 and it rang up at $3 each and I got my 4RR back. I wonder if the month long deal may have ended on Sat since it's not working now.

    • camsnana

I have 2 coupons b1g1 for the gillette body wash and deodorant and its on sale for b1g1 50%off, can i still use both b1g1 to get both of them for free.

      • no you will have to get 4 items if you want to use 2 B1G1 coupons, Id the sale was B1G1 then you could use 1 coupon and get them both free…

      • gjf

You can use them, but it would've been better if you would've used them when they were B1G1 free. Then they both would be free. Now you could use the B1G1 cpn and use a $1.00 on the one you are buying and it would be a pretty good deal. Remember anytime you have a cpn that is B1G1 FREE always use a cpn on the one you are paying for unless they both are FREE. I do it all the time=)

    • Monica

Walgreens has free and clear Purex for $1.99 this week. I love that stuff. Limit 3. So go back everyday til you get what you need to the next sale cycle! Or go to 3 or 4 different Walgreens in 1 day. Happy saving and shopping!

      • There is a $2 off Q when you sign up for the sample and select the Q instead. Makes it free. :)

        • Etan999

where to u sign up for that?

        • Crissy

The coupon is for purex complete with zout and the add is for purex 2x. Has anyone tried this coupon with the sale to see if it works or not?

    • Couponing Rocks!

Here was my trip for the week…

    • Candi

I am really bummed I missed the Aleve coupons. Has anyone been able to print/find them today?

      • gjgtn

you can get it at the aleve website

    • Tguyette5

The sale on 3D whitening stripes are the ones that are $54.99, not $29.99 as listed, at least they are at the Walgreens in Richmond Hill…I was so excited for them but didnt want to pay $34.99…bummed:(

      • CarolinaGirl843

I found the same to be true for the Walgreens in Summerville regarding the whitening strips.

      • Hey! I shop at the one in Richmond Hill too! Nice to see you here. I work in Richmond Hill but live in Ellabell. :)

    • msivory20

Just so ya know….the cheapest Aleve that qualified for the st. and m. q's was $6.99 at my Wags.

    • Asparks922

The Jergens RR did not print for me last week ;(

      • GrammarDiva

        Me neither.

    • Jenni

Has anyone done the pampers deal? Sometimes if you use maf. q's for PG products the RR won't print, anyone had success?

    • BoxerMom

Just a heads up the TheraBreath Multi Symptom Probiotics item on register rewards is a new item that we just added in the dental department. Because of issues supplying our warehouse, it hasn't shown up in our store yet. So chances are none of the walgreens have them in stock right now. It's not the stores fault from lack of ordering, because when we try to order the item it says “new item coming soon”…..

    • Guest

When Walgreens says “$3 RR WYB $10 of participating products”
do they mean $10 worth before my coupons or after my coupons?

Like, let's say I buy a participating product that rings up for $10.49. But then I have both a Manufacturer's coupon and a store coupon, bringing that item down to $7.49.
Will I not get the $3 of RRs because the new total does not exceed $10? Do I have to buy another participating item to get back up to the $10 worth? What about grocery stores? Randalls has a (3-day promotion?) where if you spend $75, you'll get $10 in a Catalina(?) back. Would this be after $75 before / after coupons?

Still looking for a Proctor & Gamble $110 booklet. I couldn't find it on their site last I checked. I love this website!!

      • sealey5

you will get the $3 RR's as long as your total is $10 before coupons. Hope that helps!

        • Wellsbiz

          Fabulous, thank you =)

          • sealey5

            You are so welcome :)

      • angela

your supposed to but some walgreens i have had problems with the rr not printing because of the total after the coupons.this is a ga store but i think it has since been fixed to print now.

      • gjf

I bought 6 pks of swiffer cloths, the colgate toothpaste & paid $2.68 and saved $29.73. I got a $3 RR on the colgate and $3 RR on the swiffers. Honestly as long as the total before the cpns is over $10 u should be just fine. Hope this helps:)

      • Gatorginger

You have to spend ten before coupons and I absolutely love that lol

    • ANGELA

FOR THE PAMPERS THERE IS A WALGREENS STORE COUPON FOR 2.00 OFF IN THE INFANT CARE BOOKLET SO ANYONE THAT DOES THE DEAL SCENARIO CAN USE TWO STORE AND TWO MANUFACTURERS MAKING THE DEAL 4.00 CHEAPER.

      • gjf

I work for walgreens and when using walgreens store cpns you only have to have one. It will take off for each one u buy w/ only one store cpn,but of course you will need 2 manufacturers. When we take the Walgreens cpns we just throw them away. U might want to ask for yours back. Just to let you know=) Have a great day!

        • Em S.

I never even clip my store coupons. I just take my circular, flip through it, let them scan the coupons, and take it with me. They never think twice about it.

          • Boxer Mom

Yeah i tell my customers to save the ad, don't tear anything out i just need to enter in the last 4 of the upc

      • Andrews07

My Walgreen in W.Tennessee says that the Infant Care Booklet Pamper's coupon is a manufacturer's Q. Has no one else had this argument at check out..

    • momof3

I did not see the month long deals in the add. I went to the store and it was not signed as getting RR, is this sale the same in Florida?

    • Lorraine

Can anyone tell me if you can find a Walgreens in or near Lexington, SC that has the month long deal on BIG1 Zyrtec? I really need to get some. Thanks for your help.
      Lorraine

      • I saw that there was free Zyrtec at Target. I don’t know if it is still…

      • DM

        Lorraine,
I did the Zyrtec deal at Rite Aid this morning in Lexington. I didn't double check..but I think it's a better deal!

      • Savasidi

I went to Target and had a target coupon and a$5.00 coupon and only paid about 6 bucks for zyrtec

    • Msmusicgirl

Where did you see the month long deal on Jergens' Mosturizers? It was not posted at my store and I want to have something to back it up if the RR doesn't print. My store should be same as yours I think—in GA

      • Skdoss76

I was at my WAGS in Ellenwood, GA last Friday and the Curel/Jergens lotions weren't on a RR deal…checked the shelf tags and the sales ad. :( Maybe it's a regional deal? I would have asked an associate, but I was in a rush that day.

      • Cathy5kids

Mine in Okee, Fl is not RR. I learned the hard way.

    • Xraychik512

Does anyone know if Wags has the Swiffer Sweeper Vac? Jenny has it in the coupon list for the swiffer deal; what is the price and is it included in the deal?
(it's not on the wags website, it checked ;)

      • BoxerMom

No they don't carry the swiffer vac

    • Leticiag30

The Jergens deal is not available in my Walgreens in Memphis, :( but I found Aveeno Nourishing on sale $7.45 I think. I have these coupons but I don't know how to use them in order to get the best deal. What do I use and How many bottles can I get?

      Pleaes help.

2 coupons Buy any 2 and get 1 free
      2 coupons for $3.00 each.
2 coupons $1.00 of any aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion

      • msivory20

Correct me if I'm wrong, but i would get 3 and use..
        (1) B2G1
        (2) $2q

That would be around $9 with tax for 3 bottles :) And would be even better if you had some RR's to add in, but you would need to add a filler for each one.

      • Sbonazzi

I think you can do this:

        Buy 3
        Use 1 B2G1
        2 $3 off

Should work out to $8.90 for all three (2.97 each). Not too bad of a deal.

        Happy shopping!

    • My Walgreens in Wilmington, NC did not have the Jergens lotion as a RR, although I surely did try!

    • Kpatcamp

Has anyone tried to make a Money Maker out of the $5 Hershey's coupon (printed out from register) from last week?

    • Mommotes

I am having a hard time finding the Get More From Your Pharmacy booklet. I live in Central Florida, can anyone let me know where to look for it?? I asked my Walgreens Manager and the Pharmacist, neither had heard of it…..Thanks

      • Sbonazzi

I asked about this once and was told that it was a coupon booklet from Krogers that came out several months ago. Chances of finding now are slim, but definately worth a look, if you have a Krogers.

    • Sbonazzi

Got burned this morning at Wags…grrr. So, maybe I can save you from my mistakes! First, do not do the “deals” on Biore' and Jergens in the same transaction…you will not get all of your RR. They are by the same manufacturer and therefore you will only get one of the $5RR. This is per the manager…who is coupon savy. Second, the RR that you get for the Pampers deal is $5 off of Pampers products…not the usual $5RR. Which is great if you normally buy Pampers, but I do not. Now I have to either go back this week to use this coupon on another Pampers deal or wait and hope for another great Pampers deal before the exp. date. BOO:(

      • Kristin

I got burned on the Pampers deal, too. Even the manager said, “oh, they were sneaky on this one!” Jerks. Thankfully, my daughter wears Pampers. I may go back tomorrow and use my $5 Pampers reward and my $3 RR to get another pack of diapers for almost free. I think I'm about done with Walgreens – their coupon policy irritates me.

      • Boxer Mom

If you look back up at the biore/jergens deal the jergens part has been removed off the site. There was never a jergen's deal for the month. Mistakes happen, it's just a shame how many people try to make it Our fault at the store because the register reward didnt print for them , when in reality it was just a mistake made on this website.

    • Calpurnia78

I just did my first Wags trip today. The $3 RR did not print out for the 4 pepsi products, the 2 other RRs that I did printed. The manager said she would have to “force a coupon out” LOL which reminded me a little of childbirth, lol..She did for me by ringing up 4 Pepsis. First she tried to tell me Dr. Pepper was not a Pepsi product. I looked on the sign and it said includes Dr Pepper but I had diet doctor pepper so maybe that was the problem? She said no Dr Pepper also means Diet. I tried to use the RRs at Publix but they will not accept them there. The consider them “Store” coupons not Mfg coupons. I tried to explain but they kept saying “we only accept Kroger coupons”…They were out of the toothbrush that gave RRs. They were also out of the Scott Toilet Paper. Ill have to go back. Someone left 2 Wonka Qs plus the store coupon IN the candy, YAY that makes it simple, thanks whoever it was!

    • journey4life

Has anyone had this issue? I bought the Gillette Fusion Razor system and used my $5 coupon. I did not get my RR. I was told by the manager of the store that since my coupon was greater than the RR that it would not print. I do not see this in their coupon policy. I have a call to the corporate office but wondered if anyone else had this problem. I am truly upset because this makes no sense.

      • Mrs. Ellis

No, that should not have happened. I just bought one and used a $5 coupon, and received my RR. Though I got burned on some other stuff, that one worked.

      • Isu2014

If they tell you that a RR will not print because you used a coupon, show them the ad. It clearly states that you will receive a RR and often shows a symbol for coupons in the Sunday paper that can be used with a product. How can they put it in the ad if you they won't print?

      • Gracie

I had that happen last week on the Dove mens deodorant. I did not get my $4.00 RR's. So I went back later to ask and was told it was because I used the coupons. The manager said I could not use the coupons and get the RR back since the coupons would make it less than the $4.00. I know this is not right but what good does it do to argue with the manager. I told him I had done it before and he said.. u just got lucky. So I got a refund and called it a day. It's frustrating to have to waste MY time going back to Walgreens to get a refund because THEY screwed up and won't make it right. But I can't complain because most of the time their deals are great and they are good to me.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

I would not count on managers: They make up things as they go along. Using $2.50 on Oral B TB did generate $2RR; so it could not be exactly what he was telling you. Something to note is that the Catalina machine is separate from the register (just linked with wires). It is possible that the catalina was off or there was some glitch that it did not communicate well with the register during the transaction.

        • BoxerMom

It depends on what store you're shopping at. I work for Walgreens and I'm a manager and I go out of my way to make sure my customers get their Register Rewards. I've even been called over to help my fellow managers so we can make sure everything is rung up correctly to get our customers their rewards. So saying not to count on managers makes us all sound bad

          • Gatorginger

I agree with you because I have the niceset employees where I shop and that includes the managers, I feel sorry for most of these people because I don’t have half they problems they do.

    • Mrs. Ellis

Okay, once again I came away from walgreens irritated. I was overcharged $5 between my different orders, and when I pointed these things out they were unhelpful and basically said too bad. Thankfully I got all my RR, but ended up spending more OOP than I was wanting to. It's not my fault if something is labeled wrong, shouldn't I get the price listed on the shelf? (date and upc matched).

      • Calpurnia78

I have to agree, I left wags kind of irritated too. I had one RR not print. Then they would not take the second store coupon for the Wonka chocolate. I paid too much OOP, going to return 2 bags today. I dont know if it is worth it, it seems easier to deal with Rite Aid.

    • Snow6343

I am VERY new to couponing and tried Walgreens for my first shopping experience. I purchased two Always products and the colgate toothpaste. I did have a .75 off coupon for the toothpaste and 2 ($1) coupons for the Always. So I was thinking that I should have received 4RR bucks (2) for each Always products and 2.99 for the colgate. Instead I only got 5 RR bucks back. Then when I tried to buy something else using my RR bucks, during another transaction I was told I could not use a coupon and RR bucks. I was confused! Help Please!

      • Isu2014

RR count as a “coupon” and you can not have more coupons than items. You needed to purchase a filler item, such as a .10 candy, in order to use both a coupon and a RR. Hope this helps!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

If you pruchased correct items, then you should have gotten one 4RR and one 3RR for a total of seven dollars worth RR.

For your second transaction, you should have bought some small item such as 39 cents hersheys bar so you could use a manufacture Q and the RR you were trying to use.

    • Robin

The Always Leakguard buy 2 get $4RR Monthly deal was not marked in my store and did not produce RR. Does anyone know where these monthly deals are in writing so I can take it in to my store. They also were not aware of what I was talking about when I called customer service.
      Thanks!

      • Mommyakc

I had the same problem today. Nobody had heard of any monthly deals. I had the manager going through ads with me and checked all the labels in the store. I left without getting the products I wanted to purchase. I was just getting ready to post your question but you beat me to it.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

I think it is advertised for RR this week. Check the flyer. Make sure you are buying the exact item/variety/count to generate RR. If the item does not ring the advertised sale price (with RR), then there is most likely a chance that RR will not print. Ringing up sale price is a good indicator if it will generate RR

      • Jenni P

I did this deal last week, and it worked. Just make sure you have the exact items. AND that you use coupons that are for the right count.

      • Tinamatlack

        Okay same question here!

    • SD.

Ok im fxin to head out with my guns ablazin to Walgreens. Will they let me ring up 4 colgate toothpaste separately so I get my $2.99 RR on each one? Thanks

      • SD.

I answered my own question. Just got back from WAG and got 5 colgate and used a $1 coupon I got in junk mail last week. With tax and RR it came to .10 cents. No problem ringing up 5 separate times….well besides a few dirty looks. :0)

        • Ruth

Did you have 5 of the $1 coupons? Did you do 5 separate transactions?

          • SD.

I only had 1- $1 coupon so I used it on the first transaction then I had the cashier ring me up 4 more times for a total of 1 transaction at $1.99 + tax with $3 RR back then 4 transactions at $2.99 each + tax and $3 RR back each so I got a total of $15 RR back and the $1 coupon coverd my tax. Hope this makes since. Not bad for 5 colgate toothpaste.

            • ponygirl19

I am going to try this tomorrow. Now, could you have done this 10 times and it work the same way ? Thanks still learning.

            • Firstbrownie

It would depend on the store on whether or not they would let you do 10 at a time! Speaking from experience though, you do not need to buy 10 everytime they are on sale, unless you will be going through that much every few weeks! I have been drugstore couponing for over a year and free toothpaste comes along ALL THE TIME! :) I usually bought 1 or 2 during the sale and I have so much in my house right now!! I buy it now only if I absolutely need to spend the RR that week and their is nothing else that I want/need. hth!

    • TheAnnoyingOne

Colgate Max. I didn't see the coupon for .35/1 in SS 4/03. However I did find .75/1 on Colgate Total SS 4/03, and $1/1 Colgate toothpaste in the P&G 4/03

Was this a typo or do I have a different coupon set?

      • Guest

I used the $1 off of any colgate from this weeks SS. There was one kind with the mouthwash beads that was on clearance for $.87. Still got the $2.99 RR. Had to buy a cadbury egg to make up the difference between the coupon and the price of the toothpaste.

        • Tammy

I got the same toothpaste for .89 cents:)

      • Boxer Mom

the coupon in P&G would be a crest coupon not colgate. Colgate is made by Palmolive

    • Mistydwn

ok i am confused on walgreens. When do you have to have filler items? I just don't understand.

      • Slgumm

You can't have more coupons than you have items. For example, You are buying 6 items and you want to use 6 coupons plus an RR. You would need a filler because an RR is considered a coupon. Hope I made that clear enough, happy couponing!

      • Calpurnia78

I ran into this yesterday on only my second attempt at WAGS- I had 3 RRs that it wouldnt take- I had more coupons that items! I had to buy 3 small filler items, cadbury eggs, to get the coupons to work.

    • Jaimemarie

Alli Starter kits are on clearance at my WAGS for $12.99!! There is a coupon in RP 3/20!!

      • reynoldsja

Would like some input on Alli if any of yall have tried it…Is it worth it?

        • Kccoupon1

i spoke with my local GNC store in re to the product and they stated that if u do not mind carring a change of clothes with u were ever u go while using it then u will b ok, lol, i was like ugh i need to wear a pamper then, he was like basically. :) i am not expert tho. he said they suggest this on the box. now that is what really made me lol

          • Mary

My mother had the same “intestinal problem” beware lol

        • ponygirl19

Yes, I did try it. Did I loose weight…. a few pounds but I probably would have lost more had I included exercise.

WARNING !!! let me try to phrase this as polite as I can… If you eat properly it will be safe to eat out… However, if you decide to “cheat” then I wouldn't eat far from home !

        • JaimeMarie

I just started taking it. So far so good. I am super careful about fat content in my food! Not sure if I have lost any weight yet, its only been 3 days! I think its worth a try at $12.99, I dont think I would ever pay full price for it!

    • Mommotes

I asked earlier, with no answer so I'll try again.. Does anyone know where I can find the Get More From Your Pharmacy booklet????

      • ChrissyPunkin

I read on another page that it's from Kroger.

      • ChrissyPunkin

Also, someone did respond to your question below–shortly after you posted it, it looks like. You can make it so that you get an email notification if someone replies to your posts.

    • Stephanie

Just curious if the Pepsi 12-pk sale does include Dr. Pepper ? An employee at my store said it doesn't. Any answers on this? Thank-you

      • Boxer Mom

No it doesn't include Dr Pepper, even though we get Dr Pepper from Pepsi, It goes on sale when the A&W, Sunkist, Hawaiian Punch, Ginger Ale goes on sale.

      • Calpurnia78

My RR did not print out when I bought the Dr Pepper but the sign right under the Dr Peppers says $3 RR when you buy Dr Pepper. I showed it to the manager and they “forced” my coupons out by scanning some Pepsi.

      • stacy

No, it doesn't. Dr. Pepper is a Cadbury product, Pepsi is just a disributor in some areas.

      • Tara

I did the same thing. Walgreens doesn't consider it a pepsi product like grocery stores do. They consider it its own vendor. They did credit my account though and switched out.

      • AmyD

Where I live Dr. Pepper is a coke product. So depends on where you live I would say.

      • Save4four

Dr. Pepper is a Coca Cola product in some areas and Pepsi in others. Crazy huh?

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

      A) The coupon for $4 on Gillette Proglide RP 3/20 listed above reads cartridge, not for razor. There is $3 Q out for the razor in PG 4/3. Please list if there was $4/1 razor Q out there

      B) There are $2.50/1 Oral B TB coupons out there in dental offices or similar. If you have access to any such place, try looking for note pads with several Qs for the TB, and they do not expire for months

    • reynoldsja

On the pampers deal, the $1 q in my P&G $110 booklet is on diaper, not on pampers products.

      • Jenndennmk

I was able to use that one for the wipes. I even told the associate it may not work, but she took it and it did.

    • Melinda

Okay, I’m very new to couponing and I have a question. Is Register Rewards something you sign up for or does it automatically print out when you buy an item with the Register Rewards sign on it? I was there on my lunch hour today and wanted to buy some items that had Register Rewards but was afraid that I had to sign up for something to get it to work. Please let me know what to do! Thanks so much!!!!

    • new2q

my WAGS store does not carry Almay & they don't have the infant care book. I asked the cashier & she said that smaller stores don't carry those items.

      • Kccoupon1

if u email ur address i can pick u one up and mail u 1 if there is not another wags by u mine has plenty to spare. kccoupon1@hotmail.com.

    • Birgit Gilbert

I have Neuragen pn ointment and Celadrin Inflame away softgels that I want to donate where do I take those?

      • Tinamatlack

My advice is check with your local churchs or police station.

    • coup10

Has anyone tried to buy a single Hershey's easter egg, use the $5.00 Hershey RR from last week, and have the excess $$ go toward other purchases? Just wondering if it would work.

      • 3monkeysmom

I had thought about that to but I was scared to try it. And with 3 kids, more candy was ok with me :) I can tell you that the coupon beeped even though I had $5 worth of Hershey's products but my cashier entered it manually. Depending on your cashier, if it beeps, and you only have a single egg, they may not push it through.

    • AnneFL

REVLON DEAL: my wg has bonus 2pk(select colors) ColorStay liquid lipstick for the same price as 1 ($10.49). Counts as one item, so then you still get another Revlon item for 50%off. If you get another 2pk,or even just one more item – you've gotten 1-2 extra items (don't forget another $4 off (2 $1 wag cpns and 2 $1 manuf. cpn) for free!

    • Susan

At Wags today they had Crayola Color Explosion and Color Wonder, the small On the Go packs, they were marked $1.99. I used the $2 and $1 coupons (SS 4/3). To my surprise they each rang up $1.50 used both coupons, and no beeps, so they were free. Nice surprise. Now that I write this I hope there wasn't a size restriction?

      • Jenni P

No size issues, but the $2 coupon was specifically for Glow Explosion. Is that what you found? I hope so, because I'd love to do this deal. But if not, it doesn't match the fine print.

        • JLW

I just went and there wasn't any Glow Explosion in the Walgreens here. I did pick up 2 of the Color Wonder on sale for $1.50 each minus $1.00 each coupon which made them 50 cents each. There was only one choice of this at the store here.

        • Kmueller80

Was just at my Wags and they had them Color Wonder and Glow Explosion for $1.99. I only grabbed the Color Wonder. I would say that it is worth a trip to look and see what they have.

        • Jenni P

I went there today, and found the Color Wonder On The Go packs in a cardboard end-cap display in the toy aisle, and they rang up at 1.50. I used the $1 Color Wonder coupon on each. Only 50 cents for a great Easter basket stuffer! The Walgreens at Five Forks had a LOT of them. Only saw Color Explosion, not Glow Explosion, so while that “worked” for you, it's not correct to use the Glow Explosion coups on the Color Explosion items. That would have been a sweet deal, though!

          • Jenni P

Five Forks in Simpsonville/Greenville, SC, btw.

    • Zgingrich

The W diapers are a pretty good deal this week with the rebate. Buy 4 packs at 6.99 each. Use $2 off W brand jumbo pack Q from Infant care booklet. After $10 rebate, you have 4 packs of diapers for $10 or $2.50 each.

      • Dianne L

Do I have to have a separate coupon for each pack or will they scan the coupon in the booklet 4 times?

        • Corey G

They just scan it once and it will automatically take off the $2 for however many packages you bought.

          • Dianne L

            Thanks!

    • Akmrn

Any suggestions or guidance on how to choose what order to group things in for transactions to maximize RR? I have a long list and want to do a few transactions using RR to reduce my OOP….

    • Tinamatlack

I haven't seen the infant care book at either local WAGS. They don't carry the Swiffer Dust & Shine. There's also no RR for Jergens lotion here. I still walked away OOP $4.96 before previous RR & Q's $72 so still an awesome week. Then earned $5 RR for my next trip so basically $72 in products free. Wish I had gotten over my drug store fear sooner!

      • Jenni P

Mine didn't carry the Swiffer Dust and Shine either. :( AND they put a limit of one, PERIOD, on the Colgate. I only wanted two. Boo. Oh, well.

      • Mrspumpkinsquash

Sometimes you have to ask for the coupon books- they almost always have them in the back

    • Jenndennmk

I have such a love/hate relationship with Wags!!! I keep telling myself to just stop shopping there, and then they put out another great deal on Pampers. UGH! So, I know you can't use a RR from Pampers to pay for more Pampers and get another RR during the same week. However, I truly thought that I could use the RR I earned two weeks ago to pay for my diapers. I would have broken up my transaction otherwise. As it turns out, you can't use the RR you get for Pampers two weeks earlier to pay for this weeks Pampers. I just really get frustrated everytime I shop there! Sorry, had to vent :) I feel much better now.

BTW, I'm guessing there really wasn't a RR deal for Jergen's this month since it's no longer listed…didn't get my RR for that either. Still wound up getting those for a decent price since they gave them to me at B1G1 half price and I had a q.

      • momof3

I've decided they aren't my friend either. I don't like all their rules, and the employees at mine are grumpy. I'm sticking with CVS! They have pretty much the same deals anyway, they are right across the street from the grumpy WAG, and they are super nice! :-)

      • reynoldsja

Yeah, you can't use an RR from the same manufacturer at all, ever. It's not just in the same week. Sorry you have problems with your wags. There are a lot of rules and stipulations, but I love my wags! I would rather shop there than CVS. The customer service at CVS is great, that's not the problem…the problem is the lack of stock in the store. It seems like every time I go in mine, I come out with a raincheck for something. Yes, they have really good deals, but when it takes them 3+ weeks to stock up on and item, my coupon has already expired! LOL

        • Mrspumpkinsquash

What is funny is I have the same problem at Walgreens- because there is no “card” and no limit on how many transactions, the crazy coupon ladies in my area clean the shelves of all the really good deals- it is very frustrating to show up at noon on Sunday and they are already sold out of the things I wanted- I never have that problem at CVS unless I don't go unitl later in the week (tuesday/wednesday)

          • reynoldsja

I think in my area, all the crazy coupon ladies shop CVS, so for right now, the Wags that I frequent is wonderfully stocked, even though they are out of the Purex at the moment!! :)
I don't even try to venture out on Sundays! The 3 drug stores are within 3 minutes of work, so I hit them up on Monday during lunch and 9 times out of 10, CVS is cleaned out!! LOL
I like my Riteaid also, but their shipment comes in twice a month, so I try to go right after their shipment comes in.

I have been blessed with 3 great drug stores right around me that all have great managers and cashiers, can't complain…

PAMPERS RR: Am I the only one who did not get RRs for the pampers deal?! Instead, it printed a $5 off manuf. coupon. I pointed out to the manager that it should be RRs that I could use on my next purchase and she just said, “well, that's not what printed.” I know I bought the correct items.

      • BoxerMom

It was supposed to be a $5 coupon off your next Pamper's purchase. If you read the ad and the tags on the shelf. It was a mis post on this site that it's a $5 RR

        • BoxerMom

There's been a few mistakes on this ad not just the pampers, but the jergen's deal and saying that Dr Pepper was including in the pepsi promotion. I just suggesting you might want to check the ad to make sure the deals you want are listed correctly before trying to make it the stores fault. We aren't responsible for things being mis-posted here

          • Rclay18

I always double check any ad as I am planning my shopping trip. Sometimes ads vary regionally and sometimes people do make mistakes. :)

            • Alb123

My complaint wasn't about what was posted here. Instead, about Walgreens not honoring what their ad says. Our ad said $5 RR, not a coupon.

          • Ambersiress

I just bought the Dr. Pepper deal and it worked at my Walgreens just fine, but the Jergens did not give out any RR at all. I had a cashier help me with different sizes and none of them spit out RR or anything.

    • Wilto

      Here is my Wags purchases….

      $39.30 Value and I paid oop $7.68
      2 Gillette Fusion Pro Glide
      4 Colgate Max tooth paste
A lot of filler items and more easter candy!!

Went today. Bought 4 Pepsi 12 packs and the Colgate Max; used $1.00 Colgate mfg. q. Spent $15.59, got back $6.00 in RR.

      2nd transaction:
3 boxes of Puffs: 1 Wags Puffs q, 1 mfg. Puffs q for 1 box
      1 Dawn: 1 mfg. q
      1 Scott 6 paper towels: 1 Wags 1.50 q, 1 mfg. 1.50 q
      2 bags Easter MM's: 1 2.00/2 mfg q. ( I forgot to use my Wags store q, also)

Also gave her my 2 RR's from previous transaction. She took these off first. The last q in the stack was the $2/2 MM's. She told me that the computer wouldn't take it because I had more coupons than items. I had already let someone go in front of me with one item, because this is a busy location. There was a line behind me. It's 40 minutes from my house to any Walgreens. I just said ok and took my coupon back. It looks like to me that they “counted” my 2 RR's as mfg. coupons. I have never encountered this at Walgreens before, but I don't get to go a whole lot either. I would like to know if this seems wrong to those who are more familiar with Walgreens than me. If it is, I will contact Corporate.

This, combined with a sad trip to Publix, has been a bad couponing day! I think I was too tired to coupon effectively today!

I Think this is what happened, You bought a total of 7 items, and since your 2RR's were used first you would have had to buy 2 filler items to use your M&M coupon since it would have attached to both bags ($2/2) Walgreens has always counted RR as manf. coupons. If you had bought 2 smaller filler items you could have used all your coupons including the M&M coupon. 9 items for 9 coupons

Thanks for the help on that! I think it's kind of cheesy for them to count their Register Rewards as coupons, when it actually represents cash! I'm sure that subject has been beaten to death at some point by all of us trying to coupon.

          • Firstbrownie

RR are not store coupons; they have actual barcodes on them like a coupon, so Walgreen's will get reimbursed for those from the manufacture on them.
Walgreen's system for couponing is alot more complicated due to that system; that being said, I'd definitely prefer to shop at CVS over Walgreen's anyday!

            • Dana

Yes! Well, I probably won't mess with Walgreen's anymore unless something is a great price on its own! I like Rite Aid the best and it's closest to me!

For those of you confused or upset about the pampers deal, the add states a $5 register rewards good on your NEXT Purchase of Pampers. A register reward is a manufacturer coupon. I do believe this one can be rolled!

I”m confused abut the $10 Wags rebate with $25 of participating Wags products. Only certain Wags products are included for rebate, right? Can I save receipts from the whole month and combine them for the $25? Do you have a copy of the form so I can see what products qualify? Thanks!

will i need a filler if i want to buy 4 m&m and use 2 $2/2 and the wags $1/2 coupon. Just want to know how to do this to have no problems and be sure.

      • Gatorginger

The only time you need a filler is when you have more coupons than items so it appears your using three coupons and getting four items so you should be fine

Anyone have the infant care book? Can you look up the 4 digit code on the bar code for the Pampers store coupon? My store won't require the actual q to scan if I have the code. I would LOVE anyone's help!
      Thanks!

      • Mccuen

        the code is 5521

Has it been determined for sure where the “Getting The Most From Your Pharmacy” booklet was from?? I checked with my WAGS pharmacy and general manager and no one had heard of it. I am new to couponing and this site. I also went to Jenny's Couponing 101. I have also found many errors in the coupons listed under the items. I am wondering if mistakes are common on this site????

      • Mamaberry

Not sure who you asked at the store. There are Store Managers and then District Managers. Store Managers are not privy to everything, and quite honestly just miss a lot. They tend to be hiring a lot of college grads assuming that education gives them the ability to run a store. That being said, any booklet posted has been confirmed found by Jenny or one of her helpers somewhere. It may not be available in your area, but it does exist.

The other thing you should know is that mistakes are not common. There are regional variations. So, you may not have a q that she lists because of the area you are in, or the value may be different. If you go to the Sunday Ad inserts you can look and see if the variations for your area are listed You can print it out each week for future reference. If your paper is NOT listed, she is more than welcome to accept your weekly reporting of what variations are in your paper. Just contact her and she will tell you how to do it.

        hth!

Is the pampers deal $20 before the infant discount or after? thanks!

    • Wellsbiz

The other day when I used a .75 cent coupon to pay for the Colgate deal, it accepted it, but then it didn't spit out a $2.99 RR….She said because I had already got my 'savings' from them.
So now I'm hesitant to use coupons on the new one for 4/10 this coming week, even though it's featured here.

    • My Walgreens had a Gillette ProGlide Razor “Smooth Comfort Pack” that included a small bottle of Gillette shaving cream for the same price and RRs as the razor alone. Awesome!

    • Mcleodsc

Catalina machine spit out a 2.50 off 6pk scott naturals paper towels that are on sale for 5.
      5.00-2.50 =2.50

      • JJ's Bowtique

Plus there is a $1 off Walgreens coupon in the April coupon booklet that you can stack with the $2.50 off coupon to make them only $1.50 for some great paper towels! I was so excited because I just ran out of paper towels!
