On http://www.simpleanddelicious.com you can print out a SmartSource-driven coupon for $1.25 off wyb 1 pack of Orville Redenebacher’s Popcorn and 1 bag M&M’s. Perfect for the RR deal!

    • Sharon

I have a RR question. If you bought 2 boxes of cereal in one transaction and then two more in the next transaction, would you still get the $2 RR BOTH times provided that you did NOT try and pay for the second batch of cereal with the RR from the first?

      • Amy

RR are not tied to a card or specific account. You can do the deal as many times as you like. (As you said, as long as you don't try to pay with RR from the same manufacturer.)

        • Jenn

That's what I LIKE about Wags! Also, if you didn't care and had nothing else to buy, you could still use the RRs and just not get more back.

    • Mary_P

Redplum coupons are not working today. Thur Kellogs and just the regular Redplum. A lot of your links our saying no more prints available too! :( I know it is not your fault, maybe they will reset???

    • Mary_P

opps, sorry had my printer unplugged from when I was printing from laptop! LOL I have LOTS of pending coupons printing right now!

    • Brooke

I have a question about the febreeze products. Are the RR based on the original price or the sale price? Specifically, if I buy two Noticeables refills will that make my $10 purchase requirement?

Check the Orville Redenbacher link.. I believe there is a coupon for 1 box of popcorn and 1 bag of M&M's for $1.25. There is also a $1.00 off M&M Coupon (Redplum, I believe) from a few weeks ago. Lastly, check the Walgreens' July Coupon book. There is another M&M Coupon in there.

      • bfew0711

Any tips on finding the M & M redplum coupon?

        • polly77

there was $1 off M&M pretzel in the 7/25 redplum – AJC edition

I noticed that the Swiffer rebate that you linked said that all purchases must be made before 6/30/10.

    • bfew0711

Is the Popcorn and M & M deal $2.50 each or do you get both of those items for that price?

    • Couponyvonne

Regarding the Walgreens in Helena, AL…am I the only one that is soooo annoyed with them? Every time I've gone in, the clerks are not friendly, mistakes are made on my receipt at least half the time. I'm just about at the point to forgo the savings and just stick to CVS where they are always pleasant.

      • Cathy

I'm in North Myrtle Beach, SC and my experience is exactly the opposite. My Walgreen's is just wonderful – they know me by name now and are so helpful. The people at the CVS closest to me are very rude and completely uncooperative regarding multiple transactions and coupons. I love my Walgreen's.

        • Kim

I am on vacation in N. Myrtle Beach and just went to Walgreens and they were awesome! I love my Walgreens at home but this Wags made me feel at home and helped with the Visine coupon confusion and were more than willing to let me do separate transactions. I have to agree the CVS across the street couldn't even tell me when they would be getting more Sobe in stock!

      • Deshaine

Come to the WAGs on the corner of 31 & Valleydale. Ask for Jan. They are good.

    • ATay

So, when talking about transactions, do you just do all in the same trip or do you have to come back. Wouldn't they get annoyed with you doing 5 different transactions at one trip?

      • Monica

you can, or go at a time that is not busy and I find mine very understanding and willing to do the transactions. Just be ready when you get to the counter so that they are happy to help you. Good luck!

        • kjmiller

I agree, you really want to avoid digging around for your q's in your purse, checking exp dates, and redoing math etc. at the register. . I don't even try to check out unless I am all squared away (i.e. have a list of which items per transactions, which coupons, what order, etc..). It's almost unavoidable that someone behind you in line will get antsy, but everyone's a whole lot more sympathetic when you're prepared.

Your coupon for complete is for Canada only. That is why it says .ca in the address. When you print the coupon it will look different than our coupons and it won't scan either.

        • Hope Noelle

They took my complete coupon in Florida yesterday!

          • ugh

Technically that is coupon fraud if you really think about it.

            • bran

I don't know Hope Noelle but I'm willing to bet that she didn't commit coupon fraud on purpose. And if she did, then that is on her. It's not up to up to judge

            • ugh

Not judging just stating the TRUTH.

            • Hope Noelle

What is the big deal about this coupon? It’s not fraud. Complete Multi-Purpose is a Canadian company but nowhere on the coupon does it say you can only use it in Canada. It is for the right size also. I was only trying to be helpful to others who might want to use the coupon. Whoever doesn’t want to use the coupon doesn’t have too. Sorry for trying to help!!

            • ugh

Well a lot more stores are starting to “ban” printed coupons…and you wonder why???? We need to use coupons for their intended purpose. If this coupon was intended for use in the United States it would have been on the US site for Complete. Don’t just be satisfied with “well my store took the coupon” because that isn’t the way it should be. That’s like saying, “Johnny did it so why can’t I?”

          • Taylor

They may take it, but that doesn't mean the store will be reimbursed. Also, I am pretty sure the bottles on sale are only 355 ml, not 360 as the coupon states.

        • Medanielle1

ah so thats why it wouldn't scan! My cashier couldn't figure it out so just did a price adjustment on the complete to $5.99. I was worried I wouldn't get my $8 RR but it worked out fine! My complete had a $1 peely that I was prepared to use if he wouldn't let me use the $2.

    • MW4

I am new to Walgreen's and a little confused. Can I buy 3 packs of crayola crayons and get 3 RR? If so, can they be all in one transaction?

      • Melissa

        no

      • debbie

you can get 3 packs and get back 3 rewards. However, you must purchase each crayola crayons seperately. Hope that helps.

    • alibcat

I found $2 coupons for Tylenol Precise at CVS–there was a little cardboard display near the pharmacy.

    • Jessicaharrison1123

      • meg

        nope. same here.

    • Margaret

I’m not finding the Ban printable on coupons.com. Anyone have a zip code?

      • SMF

        33974

    • meg

I went this morning and had a fairly successful trip. Some notes:

The visine ad coupon is only for regular visene, not visine-A (which I actually use), so the $2 off visine-A printable won't work.

For diapers, we primarily use cloth but Huggies are our back up. I have avoided buying pampers because I don't like that they're scented. It was such a good deal, however, that I went ahead and got them, and what do you know…one of the elastic edges in every diaper in one pack is melted and stuck to the liner of the diaper! It can be pulled off, but either the elastic rips, or the liner rips! I was going to trade the pampers with someone who has recently stockpiled huggies, but now I get to call Pampers and complain.

      • Mot2232

There is also a $2.00 off coupon in the August Walgreens coupon book for Visine. It worked for the Visine AC for me today.

    • CouponJenB

anyone having trouble with the Children's advil Q? I filled in the form and submitted it. it said thanks for your interest in children's advil and has a print Q button but when I clicked it, nothing is happening….anyone else have this trouble?

      • meg

Yep. I filled out all the info, and when I finally got the “print” screen to come up another “give us your info” window popped up. I gave up and will try again later.

      • SMF

Same problem here. I tried the Dimetapp coupon to see if it would work. It did. It must just be a problem with the Children's Advil coupon.

    • Mcleodsc

24 HR WAGS is already out of some of the school supplies. Looks like I will have to make a trip to Walmart to finish getting what I need. Is your store already out of some of the school supplies?

    • Kris

I went ot Walgreens today and had a problem. I bought 1 crayon, 2 kelloggs and 1 Visine. So, I recieved 1 1RR and 1 2RR that I wanted to use when I bought 1 Tide @5.99. I had 1 $1.00 mq that they took off, however, the machine would not take either one of the RR's. Just kept beeping. Have anyone had a problem wiht that? A little frustrating. It seem that there ia a problem everytine I go to Wag's.

      • Mot2232

You need a filler item. You can't use 2 coupons on 1 item at Walgreens and they count RR as coupons.

      • Deshaine

you CAN use 2 coupons on 1 item, but you have to have atleast the SAME number of items as you do Qs/RR. So, if you are purchasing 1 high dollar item, like diapers, and you want to use 1 MQ, 1 SQ and RR, you will need atleast 1 filler item. The SQs don't count toward your “Coupon” count. RR count as MQs. HTH.

    • artmommy222

Which of the Visene are 3.99? My store is sometimes bad about putting up the sale notices on the shelves, and all of the different Visenes were more than 3.99. I saw in the August coupon book another -$2 for Visene; can you use an in/ad coupon together with a monthly book coupon? They had different bar code numbers.

      • wagemp

you can use both coupons this week!!

        • Melissa

Can I ask how you made it work? I helped a lady yesterday and we couldnt make it work with both coupons. We tried even with filler items.

    • Sheehypmcoupons

I went to my normal Wags in Mt. Juliet this afternoon and bought 2 packs of Pampers diapers for $8.99 each and 2 packs of Pampers wipes for $3.99 each totalling $25.96. I gave the cashier 2 Pampers coupons for $1.50 off each diaper pack and 2 Pampers coupons for buy a pack of diapers and get the wipes for free. My total was $18.36 and after I paid I asked about my RRs and they said that since I didn't pay them at least $25 OOP my order didn't qualify for the RRs. When I brought it to the attention of the manager, he was very rude to me. Is this correct? Can anyone tell me about the RR policy when it comes to spending a certain amount to earn RRs.

      • Ashley

No. What happened is that you didn't buy 25 dollars worth of the products that were listed. The free wipes are 70 count and lower which aren't part of the deal. It's got nothing to do with coupons. Hope that makes sense.

        • Sheehypmcoupons

          thank you.

      • meg

Ashley's right. You have to follow the scenario and get 3 packages of diapers. It worked for me, and the cashier at my store was impressed.

        • Sheehypmcoupons

          thank you.

      • Cbourque1021

I know my wags doesn't count free items towards the total to get the rr. Because the wipes were free your total wasn't $25 for rr. :(

      • Amy

If you mean Mt. Juliet, TN……..Good luck with this store. I don't think I have met a caring manager there yet. FYI, the manager that I talked to there informed me that they would be going to a card system soon so they could track purchases. Don't know what this means but I say Hermitage Walgreens here I come.

        • Melissa

You guys can come see me, I work at the walgreens in Hermatige. Come see in cosmetics. I will try my best to make things work for you!!

          • Jackie

i havent been in awhile but im sure you have helped me before so thanks!!! ill be in this weekend

      • Ruth

I don't think those RRs are printing right. I bought 3 packs of the diapers and 3 of the wipes, used the 15% F&F Q as well as the 6 P&G Qs (3 for wipes and 3 for diapers), & then I bought 2 packs of paper clips as fillers, since I was using an $8 & $10 RR. There shouldn't have been a problem but it didn't print. Luckily the manager was super nice and just gave me a $5 cash refund. At a diff. Walgreens, I had a similar problem with Purina dog food and the 15% coupon. I bought 4 bags for a total of $20 but the RR didn't print. Again, the manager at that store was very nice & accommodating and gave me a $5 refund. As far as I understand it, the promotion is your total before Qs, but sometimes the Catalina won't print if your total is less than it thinks it should be.

    • DuncanMomof2

FREE CRAYONS & 9 CENT PENCILS. I LOVE WALGREENS!!!!

    • guest

you can also use your friends & family discount this week to save an extra 15%

      • Amtcoleman1

        What is this?

    • Tigerfamily99

oh my walgreens hated me today and was oh so rude. I indicated that I was going to have 5 seperate transactions and the cashier said I have to get my manager. They told me I was beating the system. Really? What jerks.

      • insaneshopper

I have never had that problem with CVS and they have deals just as good as Walgreens…

      • Readteach42

One of the walgreens in my area is so great that one day I was in a hurry and was just going to check out once and use my RR the next time and the cashier who was the manager said well let me run the cokes first so that you can use your RR today, I don't want them to expire on you. I go to the walgreens all the time now!!

      • Hope Noelle

I find that the CVS clerks are way nicer to me than the Walgreens clerks! And when they tell me that I can't do more then 2 transactions I just walk out the door and walk right back in to do the others.

    • I bought both the scented washable markers today and the regular washable markers. I did this in one transaction and received only 1 rebate form. When I asked the cashier if I should pay separately to get another rebate form, he said usually rebates only print on one catalina form. I asked him to verify this and he called the manager over who said the same thing. IS THIS CORRECT? Will I get $6 ($3 rebate for each) by submitting the receipt and the one rebate form? I tried to call the number on the form to ask but the customer service office was closed. HELP!

      Thanks!!!

      • No, you'll only get $3 back per rebate form…you needed to do them in separate transactions to get both rebate forms to print.

    • Aynnie

I bought 2 Kellogg's cereals and used one $1 off the purchase of 2 cereals. My $2 RR didn't print. The manager said it was because you can't use a manufacturer's coupon on the RR deals. Is that correct? Has anyone else had this problem?

      • meg

I used mfr coupons on several RR deals today. This is something certain stores are doing, and I'm not sure if it's legit. I'd contact corporate.

      • Deshaine

Read the signs VERY carefully. Sometimes they will put a product line on “sale” when not ALL of the products product RR. Example: coke products a couple of weeks ago… some WAGs put three coke products (coke, diet coke & mtn dew, for example), under a sign that says “sale”. But if you bought the mtn dew, to meet your “limit” to get RR, you won't because the mtn dew is not included in the RR deal. Make sense? HTH.

      • Doloresa8001

I had that problem today too. Since when? Wags would NOT let me use RR to pay for anything that I had a coupon for? The manager kept saying “it's something new, they've reset our computers and you've hit your “coupon limit.” This happened at two different stores! Anyone else here about this change?

      • Melissa

I bought 2 boxes of rasin bran today used dollar off two and the RR printed.

      • Bryarsmom

Odd everyone else on the planet can get their RR's when using Q's.
This is typical WGS mumbo-jumbo-they adore making it up as they go along-always excuses.
He was playing with you-suggest you call Corp.

      • amom2twins

Not long ago in the actual Walgreens ad it had a little note beside a RR deal saying “additional savings with coupons in todays paper”! So how can they say you can't use manny's on RR deals?

    • dharvn

I used the $1 cpn in the Wags August cpn book and purchased 3 Huggies Wipes. The Wags cpn took off $3 and I used my manufacturer's cpn.

I also bought some pens, so you may need a filler item or 2.

    • Bev

Does Walgreen's have a limit on how many times you can purchase an item and get RR like CVS w/ ECB's?

      • Deshaine

No. They don't have a card, so there is no way to track it. The “limit” noted in the flier and online here, means “per transaction”. So if there is a limit of 6, like for 2-liters or something, you can buy 6 in an unlimited number of transactions. HTH.

    • Tracy

Does anyone know what the limit is on the Crayola Marker Rebate? Doesn't state on the rebate form.

      • Kim

From what I have read right now you can submit as many as you have but apparently tomorrow the rebate will print with a limit of one per household. I noticed the same thing!

    • Katarain

I don't understand how the popcorn and m&m deal is $1.00 each after coupon. Explain, please?

    • guest

Please Help! I am trying to start using coupons…but ONLY on things we USE! Question: The BIC disposable razors…they are b1g1 this week. Does that mean if I have two manufacture coupons, I can use both for each pack? I just don't want to get to the counter and have this whole “couponing” thing all wrong!

This was my plan: Walgreens- BIC Disposable Razors B1G1- I have a $3.00 coupon and a $2.00 coupon plus the 15% off….does this sound right?

      • Sklotz2009

yes you can use each coupon per product despite the sale og BOGO

    • Jaybird114blue

I have a b1g1free coupon on bic razors there on sale big1 50% off
can I use the b1g1free coupon how will this work

      • Jaybird114blue

I meant buy one get one 50 % off

      • Jbstransport

        I was able to:
Buy 2 packs of razors (as per specifed) – the ones I picked were $5.99
        – used the B1G1 coupon which took off $5.99
        – used a $3 coupon from ALL YOU Magazine on the one that wasn't free
        – at the end of the receipt it took off the 50% off the 2nd one
(so another $3 came off) – so I got 2 packs free! yay!

    • Medanielle1

      my transactions:

    • Melissa

Hey I was going to to tell everyone, I work for walgreens. There are two coupons for the “visine” this week. One that is in the coupon book for this month and one for the week. You can only use one. I worked with a lady yesterday trying to use both and a regular coupon. It wouldnt work. She tried buying fillers too.

      • It worked for me today! Both Coupons on each bottle of visine-a, and I got both for less than a dollar! You have to add a filler item, I added 2 KitKat bars and it worked fine.

    • Cristy

Is the Walgreens Coupon Booklet something that you have to sign up for? How do you get it? Thanks!

      • Dianne

It's in the store up at the front where they have the weekly ads for you to pick up.

    • Guest

Hello, I usually shop CVS, but I have a rain check for BOGO Free deodorant at Walgreens (the kind my husband likes). I now found a BOGO Free man Q for the deodorant. Does Walgreens work like CVS – can I get both deodorants for free? Thanks so much!! (I did look through the blogs and getting started guide a bit, but I couldn't find a reference to this issue.)

      • Guest

I was able to get both deodorants free!

    • Lisanole78

Great Walgreens trip today – spent about $12 total OOP for 2 packs of pampers, 2 wipes, crayons, vitamins, contact solution, a notebook and pencil box….would've been less, but my $2 Complete coupon didn't work. Thanks to Larry at the Walgreens on Roswell Rd. and East Piedmont in Marietta – he was great about splitting up so I could use RR and made sure I also got the 15% discount on each transaction. Love Walgreens!

    • Ruth

Walgreens rocked today! Altogether I spent $17 OOP on $108 worth of stuff. I had several issues with the Catalina RRs not printing, but everyone was so nice & just gave me cash instead. My only question is about the Visine. I had the $2/1 Visine A Q & the $2/1 store insert Q, but the Visine A at the store I went to was $6.49, which meant it wasn't free. Did anyone else find a way to get Visine for free?

    • Pam

Walgreens on So. Lake Dr., Lexington would not let me split my order and use RR on the 2nd order. I was told it was “their policy” and RR's are good on your next visit. So I went to a different Walgreens and was allowed to split the order and use the RR on the 2nd order.

      • kaseyshadow

The one near white knoll? I was in that one and the cashier took the 15% off, my clartin in ad Q, and the $4 Q off the Clartin box but didn't scan my $5 off zergid. I did get my 5 RR. I didn't notice the $5 Q was missing until I got in the car and with 2 kids and the husband was not going back in. Not a huge fan of Walgreens but the one on emmanuel Church and Old Branwell are super nice and always Q friendly.

        • Pam

Yup, it was the one near White Knoll. I had to go over to 378 so I stopped at the one close to Target. They were great and let me split the order and use the RR's on the second order.

    • Sabatycki

I need some help and advice…went to Walgreens today and purchased:
      Trans 1:
      Alive Vitamins – $1 coupon
      -15% Fans and Family Discount
      OOP= 7.50
      $10 RR received
      Trans 2:
      3 Pampers diapers – (3) $1.50 coupons
3 Pampers Wipes (72 count) – (3) Buy 1 diaper get wipes free coupons
      Index cards (.29)
      -10 RR
      -15% Fans and Family Discount
      OOP= 10.88
I did not receive the “spend $25, get $5 RR on Pampers” deal; what did I do wrong?

      • Nancy

It's probably because of the 15% F&F coupon. It put your subtotal under $25. You'll need to purchase a filler item to keep your purchase at or over the $25.

        • Mcleodsc

The problem is the 15% off. Each item rings up at 15% off. I did not get my $1 RR from my Tide yesterday. I thought maybe I picked up the wrong size, No-it was the right size, it just rang up with the 15% off as the price. I guess the registers are not programed to recognize that the Tide was the correct item because the price is different (because of the discount).

      • Coupons4emily

I had the same problem with the pampers. They told me that since I had used a coupon when I bought the pampers, then the $5 RR is also considered a manufacturer coupon so I couldn't take advantage of both 'manufacturers coupons' on the same transaction. They said they have no control over which RR deals print – they also said it is up to the manufacturer as to whether they will honor the RR when a coupon is used in the transaction and they have no idea in advance which ones will let you use a coupon and receive a RR. They were pretty rude about it too. I was not happy when I left there. That may be my last trip to Walgreens……

      • Dotrchau

I also bought 3 pampers diapers and 3 wipes like you with your coupons and the fans and family discount and did Not get the RR so, we (the manager, the cosmetic lady, and myself) figured it out. The 72 count wipes are not part of the pampers deal, I had to purchase an additional wipe refill for $6.99 for the RR to come out. FYI..so if you try the deal again, I would highly recommend getting an additional pack of diapers *which with another $1.50 coupon along with the 15% will come out to be $6.14 for that pack* which is cheaper than getting the refill that doesnt have a coupon like I did. Hope this helps.

      • Hope Noelle

I did the same thing but without the 15% coupon and it worked for me. So I think thats why it didn't work for you. Your total didn't end up being over $25

    • Kpatcamp

I tried to use 3 RR's worth $7 and 2 coupons on 4 items I bought at Walgreens yesterday. The cashier said I could only use one coupon per item so I only used 2 RR and the 2 coupons. Is this normal?

      • Amy

Yes, that's normal – 1 manufacturer coupon or register reward per item. Walgreens store coupons don't count though. Jenny lists filler items for us so that we can grab something cheap if we have more coupons & register rewards than items to purchase. It took me a couple trips to Walgreens to figure it out, but now it's pretty easy to manage. It's been great lately because of the cheap school supplies as fillers. I'll be sad when those are gone because it can be difficult to find cheap items sometimes that make it worth it.

      • 3monkeysmom

        Unfortunately, yes :-(
RRs are treated as coupons and since they are, you can't have more coupons than items. You had 5 coupons and only 4 items. Usually, people just buy a low-priced “filler” item so the “extra” coupon can be used. I usually look on the clearance aisle for something cheap or sometimes they sell individual pencils for around 10 cents. I won't pay any more than 50 cents for a filler item because the more the filler costs, the more it defeats the purpose of using coupons/RRs.
Also, keep in mind that a $1 off 2 coupon ( or any coupon that is any dollar amount of 2 items) counts for both of those items so you have to be extra careful with your coupon to item ratio!! So if you have 5 items and only 4 coupons but one of them is a $1off 2, then basically it will be like having 5 coupons and you can't use another RR with it.
Hope that all made sense :-) Walgreens is the most complicated of the drug stores…so much to keep up with!!

        • Jaybird114blue

I bought 3 glades at cvs and 3 coupons and I had a register reward and it worked but i stilled owed $2.00 so is that why it worked for me???

          • 3monkeysmom

Hmmmmm…I've never heard of that happening before….was one of your glade coupons a Walgreens coupon? Those aren't supposed to count as a coupon.
Or maybe your cashier just pushed it through( not sure if they can do that, though).
Other than that, I'm not sure why that would work…..

            • Jaybird114blue

this was at cvs and I bought 3 glade and use three coupons plus I had a cvs $5.00 coupon like register reward and I paid $2.00 so maybe becaus I still owed $3.00

I'm new at this but I also went to walgreens and everything I bought I had a coupon for plus I used register reward I bought bic razors b1g1 50 % off and used b1g1free coupon maybe thats why it worked for walgreens

            • 3monkeysmom

Oh sorry :-) I didn't see where you had said CVS…just saw register rewards and assumed you meant Walgreens.
For CVS, the ECBs don't count as a coupon. You can use as many of those as you want, with coupons or without, as long as your subtotal does not go below $0.
For the razors at Walgreens, if you only bought 2 packs and you had the b1g1 free coupon plus a register reward, then you had 2 items and 2 coupons.
Since you're new at this, I recommend reading the tutorials (top of the page)…it should put you on the right track. It can get very confusing in the beginning :-)

    • Amber

Some one please help me. Everytime I go into walgreens I end up spending money I dont have to waste because the machines always end up beeping or somehting for whatevr reason. I now understand the coupon to item ratio thing, as well as the RR thing.

Buy three tubs of Huggies wipes $2.99 each
Buy one Visine eye drops $3.99
Use one 15% off discount (will deduct $1.94)
Use $1/1 Visine product, any – 06-13-10 RP or $1/1 printable (IE) or (FF)
Use $2.50/3 Huggies Baby Wipes, 64 ct or here
PLUS use $2/1 Visine in ad coupon
PLUS use $2/1 Visine Walgreens Aug IVC (exp 8/28/2010)
PLUS use $1/1 Huggies wipesWalgreens Aug IVC (exp 8/28/2010) (deducts $3)
Pay $0.52 cents for everything after coupons

If I have a $2/1 visene manufacturers coupon, can I use that instead of a $1/1 if I add a $0.49 filler that doesnt use any coupons? Would my total be $0.01?
And will it beep because youre using 2 wags coupons for 1 item? My walgreens is SO touchy about coupons & if the machine doesnt agree with them then forget about it, even if whats clearly staded on the coupon says otherwise.

And I wouldnt ever try to use 2 wags coupons for one item, but I found this on another reputable blog…
      https://docs.google.com/View?id=dfshx3vs_207cdmz53gt
      (second bullet)

I would LOVE any feedback on this!

    • Nancy

I'm starting to get SUPER annoyed with Walgreen's coupon policies. If they didn't have some good deals this week, I wouldn't be shopping there at all. Period.

    • Ariel

Just an FYI – I went to Walgreen's on Hwy 1 in West Columbia (SC) today and the manager was SOOOOO NICE. I didn't get her name, but I will def. return to that store because she was very helpful when a RR didn't print out. She didn't give me any grief, and that was nice.

Also, I went to Walgreen's in Lexington as well. Deidre at the photo counter is as nice as she can be. She is already friendly with my sister who is forever printing photos of her kids – but last night she didnt give us any problems with the 15% off coupon(s) and our 5 sep. transactions, and even helped me when I didn't calcuate totals (with tax) correctly to redeem RR!

    • anhoover

my $5 register rewards didn't print off for my pampers. i bought 3 jumbo packs and 2 wipes. i used many coupons for all of them plus a 15% off friends and family plus register rewards i had gotten in a previous transaction. Didn't think this should matter. I went back in to ask about my register rewards and an assistant manager said it's because i used so many manufacturer's coupons on the diapers and wipes. is this true? what can i do if i am entitled to my register rewards and they won't give them to me?

      • dharvn

did you buy the 72ct wipes? the RR is for the 180-216ct wipes. the 72ct wipes are just free with your manf cpn but don't count towards the RR.

        • anhoover

thanks! i thought the guy was wrong about the rr. i did buy the smaller
wipes and since i used the 15% off coupon it would have brought the total of
the diapers under 25. mystery solved. now i feel better- at least i
understand. guess i shouldn't have used the q for 15% off. have a great
          day!

      • Adek0320

The total needed to be $25 after the 15% discount and only works on the diapers, not the 72 ct wipes. The 180+ count wipes were part of that deal as well.

    • nesta

if i were to use the fusion razor rr for similac purchase do you think i would get the rr for the 25 dollars? i have 5 $5 off similac checks!

    • Tamara

I have a question, on the Swiffers which is mentioned here, the rebate ran out on 6/30? Or am I missing something? If anyone knows a change, please let me know :) Thanks!

      • Sally

I went to print my rebate form tonight and I saw the purchase by 6/30/10 also. Wish I had seen this before purchasing the products. Oh well, they were on sale and I got the extra 15% off and the $2.00 RR. The $10 would be nice though. I guess nobody knows of any change since there has been no reply to Tamara

    • Wilsonj

I purchased two bottles of Nautre's Bounty Your Life vitamns this week. The price was $9.99 for 90 tablets. Walgreen is running a BOGO free sale. I used two manufacturers coups for $3.00 and $2.00. I picked up a candy bar for .69 so I could also use my $2.00 RR coupon. My final cost $3.68. I love coupon shopping and now I will be healthy enough to contiune for the next 180 days. Thanks walgreens and Southern Saver

    • GA Girl

The cosmetic clerk at Walgreen's Hwy 58 in Chattanooga said she could not accept my B1G1 and $2 q on the Bic Soleil razors because they were already on sale B1G1 50% off. I showed her my receipt for that exact purcase from East Ridge Walgreens where my q's were accepted and she very rudely stated the East Ridge store was wrong. My feeling is that she was in the wrong but I didn't argue with her. Her rudeness just put a cloud over my afternoon.

      • Frances

Hmm I just bought 10 packs of Bic razors, used 5 bogos and 5, $3 off coupons no problem. I am in Huntsville, AL though…but the cashier didn't even flinch when i handed her all the coupons. She rang the $3 off first, then the bogo's.

        • GA Girl

Thanks for letting me know that I'm not crazy. I took my coupons to Walgreens Fort Oglethorpe and they accepted them without a hitch. I'll be staying away from that Hwy 58 Walgreens in the future….or else ask for the manager the next time I get flack from an wrong/rude cashier.

          • Frances

Glad you got to use your coupons!:)

      • BlackCat8

Call Corporate. That usually helps. Sometimes the associates need “couseling”.

    • Jaybird114blue

If I have a register reward of $5.00 can I use it on the gillette razor and get $5.00register reward back

      • Tamara

You should be able to, but I had a hard time with getting a RR when using a Manf. coupon, but then the manger wasn't very nice today. *Walgreens on Edmundson in Nashville*

But I have noticed that you can't use a Gillette razor RR on a Gilette razor or anything P&G. So check your RR's and make sure you have more in your card than items made by that company :) Hope this helps :)

        • Jaybird114blue

thanks so if I have a register reward from P&G I can't buy p&g products and use rr

    • amanda

I have a question about RR (I got $5 from the special K protein shakes). I used the 15% off coupon and had no idea I was supposed to give that 1st. The cashier was super nice about it and redid my order. When the RR printed out the 1st time she rang me up, she pulled it out & laid it on the counter. So when she rang everything up again, she saw it laying there and asked if it was mine. I told her no, it came out with the 1st order. She said I could keep it and gave it to me. Of course, another one printed at the end of the “2nd” order. So now I have 2 $5RR from only buying 2 of the protein shakes. Am I going to be able to use the 1st RR since the order was voided?

      • Tamara

Voiding an order doesn't void the RR's so you should be fine with it Amanda :)

        • amanda

Awesome! Thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure since the RR say that you must forfeit if the qualifying purchase is returned. I live 2 blocks from Walgreens and feel like I live there lol so I don't want to start having problems.

    • Melissa

Question about the RR's. If I buy 5 packs of crayons for $1 each, will I get $5 RR's? Or do I have to buy each in separate transactions?

Also, since these RR's are actually manuf. coupons, can you use them at Publix since they take competitor q's and mq's?

      • Ebunnie63

1 pk crayons gives u 1.00 reward, if u buy 5 pks, you'll only got 1.00 reward, cuz it's 1 reward per transaction/ offer. do each on separetly. and u'll get 1.00 reward for each one. the second part of question, i'm not sure, but i believe i read somewhere that they count them as mfg coupons, correct me if i'm wrong..

    • Scoobyt7189

First time doing the couponing at Walgreens and was pretty pleasae when I was done.

      2 transaction

      1st transaction
      Alive multivitamins $10.00
      1pk of Crayola Crayons $1.00

      15% off coupon
      $1/1 Alive multivitamin
      Total was $8.41
      Gave a $20 – cash back was $11.59
      RR 11.00

      2nd Transaction

      1 gillette fusion progluide $9.89
      1 pk crayola $1

      15% off total purchase
      $1 RR
      $4.00 off Gillette fusion

      total was $4.48
gave them a $10 in cash got back $5.14
      RR $5

So in the end I made $1.73

    • Dahmulls

Hello, I have a question. I went to Walgreen's tonight and purchased the 3 packs of pampers and 3 packs of pampers wipes and used the 6 coupons from 8/1 paper just like you highlighted in the Walgreen's specials for this week. I LOVED getting such a great deal but when i was finished they did not print out my register rewards. The cashier said it was because the coupons made the price lower than the $25.00 and that I was not eligible to receive the register rewards. I was just wondering if you could verify that the cashier was correct or incorrect.

Thank you so much! I love your site!

      Alicia

      • Dahmulls

never mind i read below and see what i did wrong! Thanks!

    • savvyshop88

Could someone clarify something for me. I went into Walgreens and tried to buy 2 Bayer AM boxes. I had 2 of the $2 off coupons from the Walgreens coupon book, and 2 of the $2 off coupons from this sundays papers. The register took the first two coupons, then on the third one BEEP! The cashier said it was because I had more coupons than items. I informed her that the store coupon and manufacturer coupon should work together. So I ended up paying 50 cents for a candy bar I didnt want/need. Could someone explain this please??

      • Amy B.

I think you only need 1 wags coupon and it will apply to all the items. Someone correct me if that is wrong.

        • lovedbyGod2

I have found this to be true!

    • Sara

At my Walgreens they had no Nabisco Crackers and the cashier new nothing of them being B1G1. The Visine-A was not included in the Walgreens and it was $6.00 so the $1.50 coupon would not make it free. On a good note I did get the Bayer and they also had Crest Pro health on Closeout for 87 cents so with my 75 cent coupon out of the paper I got is for 12 cents!

I went to 2 different stores and found GREAT deals at Walgreens today:

      1st store:
      1st transaction:
Alive vitamins for women-10.00 (used 1.00q and received 10.00 RR)
      2nd transaction:
      2 Pepsi Max 2 Liter–1.25 each (used B1G1 Free q)
      2 Bayer AM 50 count–4.99 on sale (used 2 1.50 q and 3.00 q from Wags Coupon Book which took off 6.00)
      2 Rembrandt 2-Hour Kits–21.99 each (used 2 5.00 q's and 10.00 in-ad q which took off 20.00)
Used 10.00 RR from 1st transaction
      Subtotal: 6.21

      2nd store:
Alive Vitamins for Men–10.00 (used 1.00 q and received 10.00 RR)
      2 Pepsi Max 20 oz–1.39 each (used B1G1 Free q)
      Visine AC–3.99 on sale (used 2.00 catalina q and 2.00 in-ad q)
      2 highlighters–50 cents each
Subtotal: 9.38 (I think the cashier scanned another Visine q that ended up taking an additional 2.00 off based on my receipt–I didn't catch this until I got home)

TOTAL BEFORE TAXES: 15.59 PLUS I still have a 10 RR for future use, so it is really 5.59 for all this stuff!!

I went to Walgreens today and purchased the Special K protein bars 2 packs/$10, used a $1/2 coupon and got a $5 RR- all good so far. I then went on to purchase 2 boxes Special K protein shakes @2/$10 (should get $5RR)- I had a $1/2 coupon and my $5RR from previous purchase. I was told by the mgr that I could not use the coupon and the $5 RR, so I chose not to use the coupon, but did use the $5RR. I did not get the $5 RR that I should have gotten with purchase of protein shakes. When I asked mgr why I did not get the RR, I was told I could not pay for the product w/ $5RR and get another $5RR. What's the deal? Has anyone else run into this at Walgreens?

It is because the first RR were used to purchase something from the same manufacturer.

    • Sweezin

It is because your RR probably said Special K or Kelloggs on it. The RR's don't usually come out with specific product names on them but with manufactures names on them. If you buy anything from that manufacture your will not get another RR. Just like Jenny was talking about with the Gilette razor and the pampers. They are both P & G products so you will not be able to use the register reward and get another one back.

So I have never had a bad experience at Walgreens until yesterday. They didnt let me do any of the transactions listed above. I asked him why the problem now and he couldnt give me a good answer other than they cant do that. I asked for Corporate's number and his name. haha. :) Ill be shopping at another store now.

same here – and I am considering returning my purchases… having to pay for something that I had enough in RR and coupons to be free was aggravating… I have always loved Rite Aid…

        • BlackCat8

It just really upset me because I literally spent 40 mins before hand getting everything all organized and everything in my cart that I wanted,in the order I was going to buy them.. and if I hadnt spent that much time beforehand I wouldnt have called Corp. I was just really upset. We dont have Rite Aid where I live, but in California I was used to them. CVS hasnt been rude to me. I have just heard way too many people on these blogs saying they havent had good experiences with Wags.

          • lovedbyGod2

I have read that too – they are now off my list! The amount of time we spend figuring out the deals, coupons, and then which order to use them in to get the best deal isn't worth it at Walgreens to me…

    • lovedbyGod2

ok…. I need help… I don't get it… today I did my first Walgreens trip for Register Rewards. My second transaction included buying the contact solution ($8 RR) and the crayons ($1 RR) totaling $9 in RR that she gave me. My last transaction were the vitamins ($10). I had a $1 coupon that Jenny linked us to, and gave her the $9 RR from my last purchase. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FREE. It wouldn't take. She had me add two items (I choose .66 lip balm) and ended up paying $2.11 for what should have been free vitamins. She said something about it having to be over or it not accepting, she tried ringing it up coupons and RR first (and vice versa).

I don't understand it, I plan to call Corporate to see if they can explain it to me… I did not have fun, and I am considering not shopping Walgreens for RR again.

It is becasue you used the $1 alive mfg coupon and Walgreens makes the RR mfg coupons so you can only apply one mfg coupon per item. IT IS STUPID. The manager had to come explain it to me and I was upset. If you see at the top of the RR it states mfg coupon. Not like CVS – I LOVE CVS :)

        • lovedbyGod2

thank you! I'll be sticking to CVS and Rite Aid.

      • di

i no walgreens is a mess to deal with.for ever coupon u have and or rr u have u have to have an item.so all ways have what they call a filler item, which is the cheapest u cand find like gum or piece of candy like 39 cents or so.there way of doing coupons is very well stupid…. and u pay the tax for whole order even after all coupons and rr are taken off.hope this helps …………..the walgreens i shop at is great..but all the other walgreens dont no much of nothing mostly the cashiers are not trained at all in how the coupons work.

    • Myhopestuff

Does anybody know if walgreens has changed its coupon policy?

      • lovedbyGod2

according to other commenters here they have! They now consider a RR to be a MFG. coupon.

    • Myhopestuff

I forget to explain why I asked my question…yesterday I purchased the women's Alive! vitamins. First I handed the cashier the $1.00 off coupon then I handed her a RR I had from a previous transaction. She didn't scan it but said I could only use one coupon not both. I ended up using the RR only. It's still a great deal but I left the store confused.

    • Maficken

Just a heads up- I tried to use a Complete coupon I found on line today. I couldn't use it because the bar code was incomplete. Evidentally it was a fraud. Beware of this coupon.

If I buy 4 of the special k shakes will i get 2 $5 RR? Thanks

    • Susangoff

Wags changes their rules every other day. I think I am going to stop shopping at Wags until they change their rules or at least be consistent and train all employees the same!! I tried to use my 5RR from the special K shakes on the pampers and it did not print out a 5RR for the pampers deal. The cashier said it was because I used a 5RR to get a 5RR. I had NEVER had this problem until today. Ridiculous!
