I've had problems with the Walmart I go to accepting the full value of a coupon, mostly with internet coupons and have to watch when the coupon is scanned to make sure full value is accepted. Many times only half of the coupon value is accepted. I have had a manager change it so that the full value is accepted but one would be wise to watch as coupons are scanned.

      • Kelly C

I've had that problem too, there and once at my Publix. I always make a quick count of how much my coupon total is, then compare it to my total before I pay.

    • Jluvsmadd

There is also a $4 off coupon in the PG insert for 1/30 for the Gillette Fusion ProGlide razors.

      • kjmiller

Yeah, I brought that with me intending to use, but the Proglide razors weren't on sale.

    • Andre

      Aveeno offer ends today (1/31)

    • Amysbrock

Last week I was told by the cashier at my Wal-Mart that I could only use one of each coupon. That was new to me, I know that I've used more than one of the same coupon in the same transaction before. Anyone else been told this??

      • Katiekittie18

My WalMart lets me use more than one. I think I used like 4 of those Reach coupons a couple of weeks ago (for the free floss).

      • Paige

I have seen other people commenting that also. I also saw one person comment that the cashier would only allow ONE coupon for the entire transaction!! I guess it depends on your Walmart!

        • Shop Now

Ask for manager… if you don't get relief… leave without the purchases (abandon your entire basket). Tell them frankly that without the coupons, they are not competitive, and take your business (and coupons) elsewhere.

      • Shon

Had never had the experience you're describing UNTIL TODAY. That stated 1 could only use 1 of each IP coupon I had, yet was gonna allow multiples of the Qs clipped from the circular. What????? When I challenged them on this they had NO answer and finally said that it would have to apply for all the coupons. Yet then said if I'd like I could split the items into 6 different transactions and use them that way. WHAT??? If you're gonna take them all from me what difference does it make whether I use them ALL in one transaction or over several transactions. Needless to say, I left a cart full of groceries there and walk out.

    • Chelshataysam

Our Wal Mart in TN has marked their Beef Terryiaki (?) Maruchan Yakisoba Noodles up to .87 and left the chicken flavored ones .52. Guess more people were buying the beef.

      • Paige

That is what is so annoying about Walmart. They only carry what everyone buys, no variety, and then what everyone buys, they increase the price!

    • Kristi

my walmart has tear off coupons on the case for the digornio pizzas $3/2…making them $2.48 each! (i think they are good through feb 12thish)

    • Jessica

I have tried walmart several times, but after having such a hard time with coupons there I've given up.

      • Mathisi

amen sista! just came beck from walmart to use some good coupons expiring today and didnt have time to go elsewhere. tried using 2 $3 coupons on gillette clinical strength and 2 b1g1 on any gillette deodorant. cashier wouldnt let me use both b1g1. she was only going by the picture which showed 2 of the same deodorants, not by what it said, any gillette deodorant. she brought a manager over after i explained the coupon, did a visual of the products i was buying, she kept asking how many deodorants and how many coupons— 4 of each. the manager finally said since i was using the b1g1 i couldnt use the $3 off the other ones i was buying. needless to say, i had to let my good coupons expire and leave without deodorant. my walmart is not too coupon friendly :(

        • Couponj

Most walmarts aren't and I have had the same issue with cashier's not reading what the coupon says and just looking at the pictures. I'm like ok… they can't fit every product on a tiny coupon!!! Or maybe they don't know how to read.

          • Shana

I think they just don't know how to read….

    • We2ding

Are Wal Mart ads going to be posted on regular basis?

      • Ajladd

She just recently started posting. Yes

    • Jenny too

I'm looking for the $1 off Athenos yogurt coupon. Can't find it at the link above. Do I need a certain zip code or is it gone?

      • Cami White

you can find it on the Kroger printable coupons…Go to kroger.comclick on “in stores”then click on “Printable Coupons” to the right and you should be able to get 2 prints off o that…I couldn’t find it on coupons.com either.

      • Cami White

You can get it on the Kroger website under “in store” then click coupons, then printable coupons. I was also able to print it from the coupons.com app from my iPad and my husband’s iPad…and if you have an iPhone you can print or email it from there also.

      • Frugal4eva

        Try 28210

    • Cami White

I don't see the Gillette Fusion razors on the ad…is this just the normal price and a good deal? Or is this an unadvertised deal?

      • I think it is just their reg price…I know it was that price the last time she mentioned the Walmart ad as well. But, I never could even find a place at my Walmart for the 4.50 ones- they were all 8 and up. So, not real sure.

        • Cami White

maybe it's for the refills…I'll check next time I go. But for now, I guess I can use the online Kroger coupon for $4 along with the mfr coupon to make them about $1.50…still a good price…

      • Amiller2835

I looked high and low and couldn't find.

    • At my Walmart, the Borden cheese slices 8 count is only 1.25. The Borden cheese coupon is for 1 off, so it makes it 25 cents. Also, that particular coupon is a pdf so you can technically print as many as needed. Since it was the 8ct pack, I grabbed 10 b/c I needed to buy for another family as well.

      • JRW

Where is the Boden cheese coupon? TIA!

        • Couponj

There's a link in the Publix ad… Yellow Advantage Deals

      • Shon

I did the same thing a couple weeks ago. Its much cheaper than buying the bigger packages.

    • JB

Wal-Mart??! Blech. I keep up with SS so I won't have to go to Wal-Mart! :)

    • Bguidry49

Went by my local Walmart and it had select variety's of Stove Top Stuffing mix for .25 cents. I bought 27 boxes and used 9 coupons for $1.00 off of 3 boxes. The $2.25 overage paid my taxes. All was free. I am so proud! My first big score.

    • Em_7984

Yea, my Wal-Mart won't accept a coupon if it is over the item price….She wouldn't even adjust the coupon to the item price. Just another reason why Wal-Mart sucks!

    • Bguidry49

I was waiting to see if she would adjust or tell me she would not do more than 1 like coupon, she did both.

    • Kdhproc

Just printed the challenge tuscan butter coupon and it was dated to expire TODAY! Never had that happen before!

    • Amccullough28

I have had trouble with Walmart scanning the coupon and keeping it and it not actually coming off. I have had to go to the customer service desk b/c the girl at the register can't do anything about it.

    • jules

ugh, I hate Walmart. I wouldn't go there if they were giving stuff away.

    • pharmSCgirl

Does anyone have a zip code for the Athenos Greek Yogurt $1 off coupon. Thanks!

      • mullins

    • Ebroyles2001

At my walmart they have the scrubbing bubbles sprayer starter kit for $6.97 and I had a coupon for $5 which made it less than two dollars.

    • NoMoreWalmart

I am now avoiding walmart at all costs. Yesterday, my friend & I went there to buy a sunday paper, along with a few other items. We were in line waiting to checkout, and opened the newspaper to make sure it hadn't been tampered with and all the coupon inserts were in it, and were approached by an employee and told we weren't allowed to open the newspaper, and were accused of trying to steal the coupons from it IN THE CHECKOUT LINE. They're just rude and completely obnoxious. And its not worth dealing with the mad crowds and traffic. I will be shopping at grocery stores and target from now on.

I bought my Sunday paper at Walmart this week, too. They keep them in front of the customer service desk. I looked through every paper I got right there in front of the greeter to make sure they had the coupons in them. It was pretty clear what I was doing but they were definitely watching me. I know people do steal the coupons out sometimes so I understand their concern, but that was totally uncalled for to be rude to you (especially as you were clearly buying them.) Anyway, I always look through the papers wherever I buy them, but I always do it at the stand in front of the employees so they can't dare say anything about it.

I do the same thing at Walmart. Last week, I stood there talking to the greeter while I went through my paper. She was so nice about it that she even gave me the inserts from the paper she was keeping up front with her. The pharmacy keeps a week old paper for people to read while they wait, and they let me have the inserts from it, too.

Walmart's Ad states they accept competitor coupons. Can you use Target and Publix store coupons (especially if they don't have a bar code)?

      • Couponj

Do they mean competitor prices cause i've never seen them take competitor coupons… they rarely want to take regular coupons… LOL

      • Guest

no you can not use these.

My Wal-mart in Concord, NC will not let me use printed coupons from the internet. Said that was there policy. It has been all along, but they are now enforcing it. I just went to another one and they took them.

      • Ctkearns

Look at your recipet it says on the bottom that walmart accepts internet printed coupons ! so show that to them !! and its also stated in their coupon policy so i would print a copy of that and show it to them next time !

      • Cklaborde

It is printed in their policy that they accept internet coupons! Some cashiers at my local Walmart try to tell me they don't accept them, but I always challenge them on it and I win. :) All I say is, “Just try to scan it and if it works then it works, and if it doesn't then I won't push it any further.” My printables always scan, and I don't usually have any more problems.

I had NO problem using printed out coupons at our walmart in spartanburg sc. I went in and got two dozen eggs making each dozen only 62 cents :) and two first aid kits 22 cents each! :) So i was a happy camper. I think it depends on the cashier you have

I discovered that many of the Beech Nut Little Steamies packages at my Walmart have little $1 off coupons on them. They just reduced the price to something like $2.24, so that makes it $1.24 for two easy meals. My Ingles sells the same product, but none had the coupon.

      I'm in Weaverville, NC

I have read many of the comments in which people are experiencing problems with coupons at Walmart. Today, three of my coupons didn't scan at WM and the cashier said,” You know that you can't use these if they don't scan”? I said that I had used them before, that the cashier just entered the numbers. She said again, that I couldn't use them if they didn't scan. I asked her if she could check with her supervisor. She didn't want to, but did, came back and entered the numbers without speaking to me. I thanked her and she said nothing. etc.,,etc… I just went online to look at WM's coupon policy, and copied/ pasted this part: There should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer and a scannable bar code.
Because this statement says a “scannable bar code”, is this why they don't want to enter the coupon number???? ( If the coupon doesn't scan.) Any comments on this part of the policy?

I also had this same problem today. My cashier said that if they didn't scan that I couldn't use them. She had a problem with two not scanning but she tried until I thought she got it. When I got home and added up my coupon savings, I was shorted $2. I have never been to Walmart that I didn't get shorted, therefore, I wasn't surprised. I agree with Jenny that Walmart is not the best place for couponing but, every now and then, I do go there when my coupon is about to expire and no one is having a better sale. I absolutely would not go there with a large number of coupons because I know they never count them all — and I don't like wasting my time and money. One last thing; why can't they program their receipts to print the total savings like other stores? It would certainly help identify discrepancies before leaving the store.

I found that the stuff you have on your sale list wasn't on sale. The gillette proglide razors were not $4.50. They were $9.96, normal price. The colgate was not on sale and the Rotell wasn't that price either. I am just wondering where the info for this sale came from. If it is printed in a add other than the one I looked at at Wal-mart today, I would like a copy of it to carry in my wally world.

      • GA Girl

I also found the prices did not match. I was dissapointed that I didn't get the razors, Pedigree Good Bites, and the Rhodes Warm and Serve rolls to name a few of the items which were not priced as listed above. I would like to know also where this advertisement is located.

Ther is a coupon for the spic and span save $1/2 that I printed from (says coupons.com on the coupon)

    • Christy

and there is a couponfor Peter Pan $1/2 in January All You Magazine

    • Donna

I went to my Wal Mart (Suwanee, Ga) armed with my Gillette Fusion coupons $4 expecting to buy the razors for 50 cents and couldn't find the product. I even asked the manager and she hadn't heard of them on the shelves and I looked at the ad and they are not in there. What gives?

    • Karendhardee

I am new to this but I think I found a good deal. I used B1G1 on Stayfree pads and $1.00 off (printable) on Stayfree pads, now that I am home and think about it I could have probably used an additional $1.00 printable since I bought (2). But anyway, I got (2) 66 jumbo pack (total of 132 pads) for $5.00….if you do this try using (2) $1.00 printables and it would make it $4.00 for 132 Stayfree pads. The pads are $6.00 a piece. Hope this is a good one!!

i see im not alone in my grievences against wal-mart! there are 2 near where i live, and one of them recently stopped taking printed internet coupons according to 2 cashiers, because of somany fakes. i never heard of that, but was aggravated nonetheless. i then went to the other walmart, and they took them! so i went home and printed a copy of the coupon policy and the first walmart didnt have a choice but to honor my printed coupons, lol. i felt empowered, sad to say!
i find usually though, it depends on the cashier you get as to how you get treated when having a bunch of coupons. most of the time they are willing to put the number in the machine if my coupons dont scan. but i have yet to see a walmart that will let you use a B1G1 and $ off the other product. they say because the B1G1 theoretically includes both products, the other $ off coupon is extra. how dumb. youd think the largest retailer in the world would want all of the business! if they did coupons and had store specials like publix and walgreens, no one would be able to get an edge, i do believe, lol.

    • Mvtdeal

Jenny, You are kind to have added Walmart however I know why you prefer other stores. Better deals and much less HASSLE. I went in w/ your list and my coupons- some prices varied -regional difference. No problem just didn't get the razors or rolls. When I got to register most of my coupons didn't scan. I felt badly for the young cashier-she tried her best to get them to work. I ended up waiting a LONG time w/ line backing up before manager came and got coupons all through. Both cashier and asst- mgr were nice but it just isn't worth the hassle. Cashier said several times they had just had a big meeting about coupons…. I don't frequent Walmart and after this experience will take my coupons and most of my business elsewhere in the future.

I found a few great buys at WalMart last night. Not sure if they are in every store but I am in central Alabama if that helps.
      Clearance Items:
Febreze Flameless Luminary Starter Kits (Winter Special Edition) $7.00
      $5/1 PG 1/16
Febreze Home Collection Reed Diffusers (Winter Special Edition) $4
      $2/1 PG 1/16
Glade Scented Oil Candle Refills (Winter Special Edition Scents) $1.00
$1.50/2 (not sure which paper but check the Coupon Database)
      Cascadian Farms Granola Bars $1.50
(Had a printable coupon but not sure from where or when I printed it…once again…check the database)

I thought that these were great buys considering I got the Flameless Luminaries for $2 and they are normally $14.97 at WalMart. I am not a huge WalMart fan, but this was exciting for me. Plus…I had a great cashier!
