    • Ahays

Has anybody ever ordered from ajcinserts.com? I live in a small town and only one grocery store sells the Atlanta paper. I am wondering if it is a reputable site. Thanks

    • Kay

not a lot of food coupons this week

      • racecitymom

seems to be the trends as of late… :/

        • Chana White

I have only been couponing for about 4 months but have all the health and beauty items I need for my family of 6 for the year.  Is this a cycle and it will get around to more food coupons?  I agree with the others that I need food coupons.

          • IMACOUPONER

Coupons ARE cyclical. In the south coupons/deals typically come back around every 6-8 months; in the north it’s about every 8-12 weeks. I’m not sure about the midwest or west.

There really are NOT a lof of food coupons this week, but you will be pleasantly surprised by next weeks coupons.

        • Pat

How do you know what the coupons for next week are? Oh that was a silly question, because you will not tell us how you know.  Another thing, Where do the people that sell coupons and inserts get them. Thay always have hundreds to sell.

    • Liedes

from another website the dial has no size restrictions so it will be a 1.03 mm at walmart.  buy the sample at .97 and save

    • Couponsforval

Why oh why can't they get back to putting food coupons in these.  I cannot feed my family razors and cleaning products.

      • Bella

I don't know Lysol Lasagna sounds a bit yummy!! I know what you mean, if it continues on this trend on I may cancel my subscription

    • Nquinones65

DO They Put coupons for food………EVER????????

    • Noelle704

I think I'm going to skip out on this week's coupons

    • Guest

I've been couponing for 2 1/2 years, and the trend is starting to show much lower coupon values, and extremely fewer needed coupons.  So disappointing!!!

      • Diannaspivia

Im very disappointed too they could do so much better. We need all the help we can get to take care of our families.

    • ozzishep

Wow, all I can say is what boring coupons!  I must be the cleanest person in my area with all of the deoderant, razors, toothbrushes & toothpaste that I am accumulating.  It is great having a stockpile of this stuff but it would be better to have a stockpile of food for my family.  Hopefully next week will be better!  :)

      • Edavis51907

      • Mandy cooper

Lol! My husband said that when they come to collect our dead bodies that we will at least have clean, shaven dead bodies in our clean house with our clean clothes! There haven't been many “good” food coupons out in a while!

    • Me

Wow, these coupons keep getting shorter & shorter in expiring dates..Few food coupons, I just hate how stores dictate what I'm eating – but it is what it is..I do save money.

      • Melanie

Don`t mean it in a bad way but maybe you should learn to cook something else. ;)

        • Melanie

          Sorry, reply was for Shanalex74

        • Shanalex74

I cook way more than just that…we only eat it once a week…and that is on nights when we need to cook something fast before church or ball games.

    • mark

dont u think that alot of us/you are our own worst enemy? i am not calling out anyone specifically but when I go to bloom to buy a box of ronzoni pasta that will be free and every single store is gutted, and then I do the same with a few other products, it kind of ruins it for everyone. I dont think the manufacturer or the store was wanting people to go and get 20 or more of each item and leave none for the average consumer. Everyone wants to be the next big couponer just like when poker got big. The people who are thinking that couponing is great and just started are going to be discouraged by the tactics of the couponing companies currently being employed and quit soon. And I am pretty sure that is what they want. Imagine if you didnt coupon and you just want to buy some yogurt or toothpaste or gum or whatever and its always gone. The store looks bad and customers dont go there anymore. Expect worse coupons and limit setting from stores soon. Someone always ruins a good thing for the restr of us

      • Shanalex74

I go to walmart and they price match the prices with in a 50 mile area….they are always stocked up. So when I buy 30 boxes of Hamburger helper that only last me 1 month…I don't feel bad

        • Bee

Oh believe me, you can have my share of hamburger helper.

          • and mine lol :)

            • Sarah

and mine too! Who eats 30 boxes of HH in a month anyway? That requires hamburger meat so its really not that cheap of a meal

            • Dharvn

i actually may buy about 10 boxes a year, my family likes hamburger helper.

there are so many varieties of hamburger helper (lasagna, stroganoff, parmesan etc) and it doesn't have to made with ground beef, you can use ground turkey, chicken, or no meat at all…

        • Mystery8girl

yes you can price match at walmart but they changed the policy now that you can either price match or use a coupon, but not both. Or at least in my area that is what they have told me.

          • Dharvn

chances are that your store manager doesn’t know the corporate coupon policy and since walmart stores are not franchises store managers cannot set individual store coupon policies.

you can go to this link to view and print walmart’s coupon policy: walmartstores.com/7655.aspx

          • Shanalex74

The policy as of May 12 says you can do both….I have had major issues with our local store manager regarding coupons. He stands there and watches like a hawk…he just waits for a friend of mine and I to need the key turned…Which we never need it turned. We abide by policy and do everything on the straight and narrow. 1-800-walmart will help you in anyway they can.As far as the HH goes, I make it 1 night a week and we make 4 boxes at a time. I never pay over .50 per box and that is pushing it. I cook for 6 people plus enough for 2 adult lunchs the next day. Today I sent 20 boxes to a friend who cooks for her farm hands and they process their own meats. and I will be the first to tell you…Send me your HH…I know a lot of military familes who beg me for it all the time.

WalMart is THE only store I know of who restocks anything they run out of every night, so I'm never worried about not getting the deal I want. Plus, their sales typically last almost two months,,

      • Joanna

My PhD is in History, but I was talking to some of the
profs from the Anthropology Department at school. I was asking them why
we have this innate need to “hunt and gather and hoard” a bunch of
junkfood we normally wouldn't look at twice? One idea is that our
specific society is very “things” driven. Now that so many people don't
have the extra cash they once did to buy electronics and gadgets and
other toys, they're redirected their focus onto buying mustard and toothpaste because they can justify these as necessities and feel less guilty.

Still doesn't make snatching up 100 bottles of bottles of body wash right. Hopefully this fad will fizzle out once people get sick of their houses being  cluttered with mounds of fatty cakes.

        • yoy

what about the innate need to annouince to a bunch of strangers you have a phd? i find that perplexing. haha

          • Joanna

I was adding validity to my statement. After years and years of sitting in an office doing research it's second nature for me to site sources, etc.  Truly wasn't trying to be uppity. Just pointing out that I had an academic discussion about this very topic earlier this week. I whole concept is super interesting to me.

Too bad I don't have a coupon for a cold 6-pack. This is discussion has gotten heated! :)

    • emily

Yes, wow can we get our homes any cleaner… I agree… where are all the food coupons…??? Can we write these people who put out the coupons and tell them were so unhappy… I have ton of razors, scrubbing bubbles and cereal…

    • SCMel

Preach it, Mark. Thank you for sharing a frustration that many of us who are just trying to help make ends meet have with hoarders. It does give us all a bad rep.

    • Christie

I havent been couponing all that long but I do have to say I have been finding a lot more coupons in the stores on products now.  I never use to see them that much, but it seems like everytime I go in for something theres always a coupon on it ecspecially for snack stuff, I am well stocked up on chips, cookies, yogurt for my kids for the summer.

    • Rumrumat

i have come from a generation of couponing and never have i seen it so extreme as it is now! i agree with mark! especially that new show ppl have been watching thinking that its the way it works when it doesnt!! i wish the hoarding would stop1 you cant use 1,000 toothpastes it will expire… i'm just sayin

      • You might not be able to use it all yourself, but you can donate it. And that is what most people I know do. =)

        • Jenn

Donating is a great, but, how many bottles of mustard can any one food bank take?  It's always a good idea to check with them to see what items they can use. I volunteered at a non-profit during college and while so many people had good intentions, they were a little misguided. We had limited space and some products were just not practical. Just a thought, not a criticism. :)

          • CouponMama

Jenn-  My local church gave over 4 tons of grocery items and personal care items just last month!  And we are considered a small church!  Trust me, there are ALWAYS people in need!

            • Jenn

Awesome! I really love hearing such great stories about neighbors helping each other out.

      • Ifsogirlcpn

I agree on the hording… I think all the local food banks need to hire on extreme couponers to fill the kitchens! :) that would be cool. ;)

    • Nikki

I'm sort of new at all the new strategies of couponing but I would like to raise a question.

I was at the store yesterday and I overheard the cashier (who also coupons since she had her binder helping out a customer in the aisle) tell the customer that she could use three Clorox spray cleaner coupons for the Clorox bleach.  She told the customer she had already used her coupons and received the items free.  Currently, this store has a sale for Clorox bleach buy 3 for $5.00.

Isn't that coupon fraud?  I stopped and told her that but she said the first set of numbers of the coupons were the same and it would scan at their store as long as the product was the same.

Was she correct?  I don't think so.  Is something wrong with their registers?  Don't stores pick up on that?

      Let me know.  Thanks.

      • Bee

They were using the “family of products” tactic, and yes it's fraud-maybe one of the more offensive types.

I would have walked right over and told her manager.

I am told that eventually all stores registers' will be programmed to stop this.

        • Nikki

Okay.  Thanks, Bee.  Just making sure..I told my co-worker that and we both thought the same thing.  I told her I would email the site to get the correct answer.  I will pass this knowledge along.  Thanks.

        • Shannon

Hey maybe Chris Harrison will do a show on the extreme fraudulent couponers and invite TLC to watch them busting everyone. Now that's a show I would love to watch!

          • Joanna

Chris Hansen “To Catch a Couponing Thief?”  I like it!

          • Tnjcent

Let's writen him nd see wh doesthisand how can we stop this theif?

            • Tnjcent

Let's write him and see if we can catch this theif…I mean…how do they do this…and get away with it?…

      • Melanie

Thats exactly why that lady from the tv-show got in trouble. Imo, it does not matter if the number match up or not, it is important what the coupon said and in this case it said pray cleaner and not bleach. This is what gives us a bad name.

        • Lacat

          What is “pray” cleaner?

          • Sarah

She meant spray, don't be so pety!

            • yoy

          • Sglock

Guess you've never keyed a typo???

      • Lacat

My daughter used to work at Bilo and told me years ago that if the first numbers on the coupon match the code on the product, you can use it!  I don't see where it is fraud, the company reimburses the store.  I went to CVS the other day, I had $3 off coupons for Loreal which I used for the lipstick, the cashier said it was for the face and lipstick certainly is for the face, I even used the $5 coupon for John Frieda, which was for hair color or something, on the $5 shampoo, no problems!!

        • Shannon

If I run a redlight when no one is looking, it's still a crime.  Just because you get away with using a coupon because it beeps at the register, doesn't mean you didn't use the coupon fraudulently and commit a crime.  You are part of the group causing everyone else to suffer.  Read your coupons and use them as you are supposed to be used.  Come one, let become an honest person for everyone else's sake.

          • Lacat

I guess they should just lock me up, then!  really, I still don't think it is wrong, if I find out it is, I will stop!!

            • Shannon

Well, just go to couponinformationcenter.com and it clearly lists the following under Facts and Questions
              What is coupon fraud?
Coupon fraud occurs whenever someone intentionally uses a coupon for a product that he/she has NOT purchased or otherwise fails to satisfy the terms and conditions for redemption
You didn’t buy the specified item, you commited a crime.  Plain and simple.  IT IS WRONG, YOU ARE WRONG.

            • Bee

This statement is directly from the Coupon Information Corporation site:

              What is coupon fraud?

Coupon fraud occurs whenever someone intentionally uses a coupon
for a product that he/she has NOT purchased or otherwise fails to
satisfy the terms and conditions for redemption, when a retailer submits
coupons for products they have not sold or that were not properly
redeemed by a consumer in connection with a retail purchase; or when
coupons are altered/counterfeited. These activities are almost always
in violation of Federal, State or local laws.

Coupon fraud costs consumer product manufacturers hundreds of millions of dollars every year.

Coupon fraud also increases costs for consumers and makes it more difficult for honest consumers to legitimately use coupons.

I'm not sure how much more plainly it could be spelled out. The wording on the coupon is what you go by, period.

If it says “1.00 off ANY Maxwell House coffee” then you may purchase any size and any flavor/variety, etc.

If the coupon says “1.00 off 12 ounce or larger Maxwell House French vanilla” then you can't use it for anything else.

I don't see why any of this is a joke.

            • Annabik1278

well some folks just don`t have that moral fiber and as long as they get what they want then it does not matter what comes after

            • Lacat

              Who has no moral fiber?

            • Sillysnicks

The one who uses coupons knowing they are not for the correct item…didn't you say you did that?  The one who thinks it is funny…lock me up lol…

            • Lacat

“Great Spirit, grant that I should not judge my neighbor until I have walked a mile in his moccasins”.  You don't know me, I am not a thief, I said I didn't know it was fraud and that if I found out it was I would stop!!

            • Jenn

Looks like you can stop now….

            • Annabik1278

I had no intention to point my finger towards anyone,I meant that some people know what are they dong s wrong yet they still keep doing it.

Also,as a christian I know very well what gluttony is.

I really love this community and I took my first baby steps in couponing here on Southern Savers :))

            • Shannon

Well Said Bee.  It's no different than copying a coupon you printed from the internet.  It will scan at the register and you will leave with a discounted item.  But no matter how you spin it or try to make light of the situation, it was fraud and the person knows it wether they want to admit it or not. I feel for the children who have these people as parents.  What good lessons are they passing on? None.

        • There is a $5 coupon for John Frieda shampoo and conditioner in last Sunday's paper.

          • IMACOUPONER

I bought 6 John Freieda products and my total came to -06. cents, yet I had to pay $1.20 for tax. I didn't mind – to get that many high quality hair products was a big SCORE for me. I was surprised to see they had the same deal that was about 3 weeks ago; but I sure didn't mind.

      • MarySC

Unfortunately this is true at the moment; the manufacturer has to depend on the consumer and the clerk to use a coupon only for the product it is intended.  Obviously in this case the manufacturer intends the coupon to be used on a much higher priced product that they are trying to promote, and to use it on bleach is coupon fraud.

You know how there are currently two bar codes on each coupon?  Well, the second one is a much more advanced program that allows the manufacturer to get very specific about which product the coupon is for, and also includes the expiration date.  The new codes are supposed to be fully implemented by 2014…. and then there will again be only one bar code on a coupon.  (The new code is called GS1 if you'd like to google it!)

      • Sbillingsley

Yes, it is fraud.  You must use the coupon for the specific item.  Why would someone be dishonest and use a coupon on a product that it is not specified for.  Even if you can, you should not.  Karma will come back every time and get you.

    • KendraTsongranis

If there is genuinely an item that you want or need a coupon for, try writing the company.  It sounds like a time consuming task, but honestly posting a complaint on here takes just as long.  I write companies frequently and I often end up with coupons for FREE items, or high dollar items.  You do not have to complain to the company, but instead simply say you love the product, but you need a more affordable way to purchase it, and a coupon would be greatly appreciated.  You will really be surprised by the response.  While you may not get 15 coupons for the product, you will probaby get one really great coupon.  Be thankful and move on!  Just a suggestion!!

Also, try utilizing the coupon traders on Southernsavers, or elsewhere.  I personally use lots and lots of health and beauty coupons, as my extended family does not coupon, but when they need toothpaste, shampoo, etc… they call me.  We eat mostly fresh produce, so coupons for food are rarely used in our home.  We do not eat hamburger helper or similar items, so if I don't trade these they just end up expiring.  I too wish we had higer value coupons in the papers lately, but it is what it is, so I find alternative ways to deal.  Happy couponing!!!!!!!

I sent a very short e-mail to Morton Salt company a week or so ago and told them I loved their Nature Seasoning Salt but never see a coupon for it. I got a reply the next day and a few days later, got a coupon for a free bottle. Granted it was only one coupon but I was so grateful for it because it meant one less bottle I had to pay almost $3 for. So writing these companies truly does work.

        • couponcrazy

I know it works to because after someone posted on here that they wrote to Bushes Beans a few weeks ago asking fir a coupon I did to and I was surprised when only 4 days after I wrote they sent me 2 $ .55 cents off any can coupons. now that may not sound like a lot but I appreciated it and looks like the company answer mail real fast to.

          • IMACOUPONER

I have been calling mfgrs for many years now and they are more than happy to send free samples AND coupons. Be sure to go to P&G website to get a small booklet full of their coupons about every 6 weeks.
I also get free items in my mail box 5 days out of 7. There are so many freebies out there that so many people are not aware of.

            • Sajantz

Are you talking about food freebies, or household freebies? I've never written to a company to request samples, and I'm not sure how to search online for them…do you have any pointers for me?

      • Angelascoupons1

A wrote to sugar in the raw…they sent me six coupons that never expire plus sugar packets! I also just wrote to was, a company that males these sports recovery powder mixes my husband uses. Got a response the next day that they are mailing me coupons! It really does work!

    • Annabik1278

Last week  went to Publix to get my newspapers and we saw a lady picking inserts and stuffing in the paper she was going to buy. That was so rude,we alerted the cashiers.
I`m new to this but I never go to get 10 boxes of pasta as my family consists of only two.I shop all the time at the same store and I don`t want to end up being a problem for the managers.

I ALWAYS look through my Sunday Newspapers at the store to make sure someone has not pulled the circulars; this happened to me one time and the mgr was kind enough to save a circular for me for the next day. It truly is sad that people stoop so low. They are out and out stealing. Do they have no moral compass? Do they not have Jesus in their lives?
When I see a cheater I rat them out! I don't care if I'm called a tattletale; if people continue to get away with stealing and altering coupons it will only make things harder for us folks who follow the rules.

        • Dtcox1

you are so right in my small town a lady was getting coupons out of mail boxes and putting back the papers  on sunday she got 30 days in jail

          • Jessmender

There is a lady in my neighborhood who steals the free papers with coupons in them from people's driveways….

        • J2msurvey

I also look through the sunday paper in the store before i purchase it. I have found numerous times the coupon inserts have been taken from the papers by greedy people. If i want more than one set of coupons i purchase a second paper or get the inserts online. I also try to limit how many of an item i buy so others have a chance as well. Who needs 6 boxes of the same exact cereal when 2 boxes of each of the various kinds will do? I get tired of the same thing everyday and want a change.

        • Lcline29

good for you…and no they don;t have Him or they wouldn't do those things

    • Kroemerk

I am working on putting together a reasonable stockpile for my family.  I make sure that if I am getting more than 2 or 3 of an item that I do not clean the store out and leave them with nothing.  The only time that I have shopped big was for the ronzoni deal from a month ago or so.  My Church food pantry was having “pasta month” and I stocked up.  I made sure that the store knew exactly what I was doing and why, and they didnt have a problem.  that seems like a reasonable compromise.  That way if the store knows they will be running low if I stock up, I can split my purchase between a few stores to even the load.

    • Gloriajartos

Sadly, greed is consuming a good number if people- I am apalled to see coupons ripped off of packages- went to Publix a few weeks ago to buy ziploc bags and every single box in every size had it's peelie removed-does ANYBODY really need that many boxes of ziploc bags? In my mind that's stealing from the store and from the prospective buyer- Come on- there are always coupons for that stuff- where is our self- respect?

I absolutely, 100% agree with everything you said. The TLC show, EXTREME COUPONING has been good and not so good. It's great that more people are couponing, but it saddens me, makes me angry, AND feel sorry for all those hoarders, not to mention folks who do not use coupons, yet still need products that are wiped off the shelves on the first day of the sale. In the ATL they are putting limits on how many items a person can buy,but they WILL NOT obey this rule; they will just get back in line and keep rechecking out.

        • Willie Erving

I get very angry when the shelves are empty.  Because I  have integrity and I'm not selfish, if I have enough coupons to buy 20 of my favorite products, I don't use 20 because I want someone else to enjoy the savings as well.  I hate it when the shelves are completely empty. People should have more compassion than that.

          • The dude

lets face it, there is a TV show about it, so it “hip” now, give it a few weeks/months and things will die down, just like jersey shore, everyone was suddenly from jersey for a while and its dieing down.. hopefully some of the hipsters will pick up on swamp people and start hunting alligators and leave the savings to us LOL

            • Completely agree.   Shows like “Extreme Couponing” make the goal of clearing a shelf with coupon saving more and more desired by some.   But as mentioned this will pass.  Now I have to go and buy some Storage Units for a thrift store I intend to start.

          • Lcline29

I agree  with you.  We are buying items for my son's schools food drive.  When I want more than two or three things for ,myself, I special order them.  I go ahead and pay for the item using a coupon to help cut the cost and then wait for your order to come in.  I have had store managers offer to clear a shelf when it takes a few weeks for something to come in that I have ordered but I tell them no thanks that I don't want to empty the shelf.  Publix even told me that if I need to get a raincheck and the coupon is getting ready to expire to give them my coupons and they attach it to the raincheck so if the coupon if a couuple days past when the items comes in they will still accept the coupons.  Of course i am talking 4 to 10 items….not what you see oh the TV show.  As much as the local amimal shelters, county government run and private need items…I wish I could get 200 boxes of pet food once in a while.  Maybe I am a softie, but most people can receive food assistance.  By negligence people allow over population of animals and these animals cannot walk in and get food stamps or whatever they are calling them these days.  I started really trying to coupon and save money and far as not being brand loyal 3 mos,. ago to help offset other rising costssuch as fuel.  What does make me upset is when I am in a store and I see someone who can't speak english buying meats and other items my family cannot afford using food stamps.  We both work and are very frugal.  There are several people I have known over the last 30 years who at certain times in their lives needed help and couldn't get it so to see others who have not lived, worked and paid taxes in this country for years bothers me.  Like people who take peelies or clear a shelf it doesn't seem fair to everyone.

          • Susduncan

I agree it does make me very angry when its just a game to some people just to see how much they can make off an item.I have to do it to feed my family of four. One thing i dont do is empty a shelve.Just like last night on the show the lady bought 77 bottles of mustard her husband doesnt even eat mustard or the lady that bought 115 bottles of nighttime pain meds no one could ever take that much meds!

          • Scott in GA

Don't always blame empty shelves on selfish or greedy couponers.  I, too, am disappointed when I can't find a particular product.  However, you can also blame it on the store.  Case in point….two weeks ago CVS had Ragu available for $.67 after q's.  I proceed to find that the shelf is FULL with 7 jars.  The store should stock up on items that they know are going to go quickly.  Another case…Nivea body wash at Kroger available for $.49 profit after q's last month.  After they had sold out of 10 or so of them, they refused to restock the product until the qpon had expired (an employee told me this).

        • WendiBrooke

Yes, the Atlanta area is cracking down on  the amount of products that are purchased with coupons. I am in Douglasville , Ga .

        • Fireyred

I truly believe these “new couponers” that are trying to do what the show does will get tired of it quickly and things will go back to usual soon.  that show is not realistic for weekly, monthly, or ever quarterly shopping unless you are buying hundreds of the same item and have a hundred coupons for that same item.

        • Dtcox1

i watch the show just for a laugh .. i love my savings of 58 percent a week or more ican eat good and smell good .how does the people eat cat food and barq sauce all the time wheres the real food .

      • Nguyenbchi

I've been using coupons for a long time and I have never seen anything like this until after that Extreme Couponing show aired.  The shelves at every WAG and CVS I go to are empty by Monday, peelies are missing, coupon inserts missing from Sunday papers.  People walking around with their binders.. holding up the check out lines because they aren't organized.  Then what really sickens me is when I go to the markets and see booths after booths of people selling these item for $3-$5 a piece!!  Personally, I don't believe in using coupons to make money.  I use it to maintain my household and if it's free I will pick up a few extras to donate.  I live in FL and there is no doubling of coupons anywhere but I am OK with that because I can still get things for fairly cheap with stacking coupons.  As of late I've seen so many people complaining about the coupon policies and why this why that.. I am just happy that there is such a thing as coupons.  I afraid that the day will come where stores will tighten up their coupon policies because of a few people's greed and this will hurt the people who depend on the coupons to feed their family..

        • Jan

SInce the show aired, I have had so many people asking me about couponing since they know I do…the first thing I tell them is “If you think you are going to do like the show, you will be extremely disappointed…that is the only true EXTREME thing about the show”…I think it's good getting people interested in saving money but it's ridiculous the uproar it has caused.

          • Nguyenbchi

That is so true Jan.  I tell people the same thing when they ask me about couponing.  I had a lady tell me that she coupons for the “sport” of it and said that her stockpile is just there for bragging rights??!!  Really?   I don't have a stockpile of anything and I buy as needed for my family.  I save about 55-65% on my groceries bill each time and to me that is FANTASTIC!  I read a post earlier that couponing is the new “trend”… can you believe there are sites selling “starter kits” for new couponer for $20+??  It's pretty much a binder with some inserts, dividers and some coupons.   I hope this trend ends soon because it's giving real couponers a bad name.

      • it would be interesting if a security camera covered that wouldn't it?

      • Alona

seems like these people are just takers and don't care a thing about anyone else. the whole world seems to taken by these people. WHAT A SHAME!!!

    • I don't know what is going on tonight, ladies and gentlemen.  Usually, Southern Savers is a very supportive group who instruct in love.  Tonight, there seems to be a lot of bickering and rudeness.  We all need to take moment to breath and remember that a real live person is at the other end of the messages we are sending.

      • Sargent

And if it wasnt for all the ppl who participate in helping each other we couldnt be thankful for all our help in savings.. and sometimes ppl dont clear the shelves and just alot of ppl know about the couponing world now :) be patient your savings will still be there again

    • Jodi Mcdan

i'm new to couponing and recently went to one of jenny's workshops. i have really enjoyed some savings but i'm almost ready to give up on anything but shopping at publix. i made 2 trips to cvs, one on sunday and then on monday since they said they would get a truck in during the night on sunday…everything i planned to get was gone! it just seems like it creates frustration. am i giving up too easily? anybody feel like i do?

      • Jlwingate795

I went to one of jenny's workshops about three weeks ago and I had trouble finding stuff in the store until this week. I went to riteaid and they had everthing that I wanted that was in the ad. With the coupons. Have you tried riteaid? I've tried every store and riteaid got an A+ this week with me.

      • Lawson4901

Get rain checks at CVS.  You can still get your ECB's and if the coupon expires before you are able to get the items some managers will still honor them.

      • The dude

try finding that store that kinda out there and never buys, (24 hour stores normally are the worse)  i live in myrtle beach and if its a really good sale i know a CVS and a walgreens that are “off the beaten path” that typically have the items there.

      • Dtcox1

do not forget your rain ck i went to jennys work shop loved it i have got in this habit now  it takes time i have went from 100.00 a week with not much stuff to 50.00 a week and loys from groc and cvs now my hubbt loves this .

      • Jessmender

Always ask someone to look in the back if an item is not on the shelf.  I was at CVS yesterday and all of the Oral-B Pulsar toothbrushes were gone from the shelf.  There was even a lady asking for a raincheck for them at checkout.  Just for the heck of it, I decided to ask one of the stocking guys if he could check the back for me.  Two minutes later, I had two of the toothbrushes I wanted!  Of course, this might not always work, but it's worth a try!

    • pjcouponer

I have worked for a food broker and was a rep for some big food companies. the reps put peelie on certain items to move slow moving items or soon to expire items so the items will sell before they expire, or so we can have movement on slow moving or new items so they will not have to be discontinued, so  please do not remove the peelies unless you intend to buy the item. We are also graded by the peelies when  our supervisors audit our stores. I am a big couponer myself and I would like to continue to enjoy the benfits of couponing.

      • fireyred

This is one of my pet peeves.  I went into Harris Teeter  few weeks ago just to get the Excedrin that was on sale for 99 cents with the instore coupon (which was a peelie), and all but three were taken.  There were about 40 boxes but only three peelies left and you could see where people had taken the peelies….ugh!!!!

        • Jessmender

You can get an 8 count of Excedrin for free after ECB's at CVS this week.  I know your post was about peelies, but maybe this will ease the pain….

    • Sashamxm

I'm excited , I just bought a new phillips sonicare head on clearance for $10.00 didnt work saw them at walmart (the right kind for 24.99). So just to try to save money I looked in Publix and waLLA  16.00 and i got the right one.. yeah for me, well my hubby..

    • Sajantz

…could someone PLEASE fill me in on how people manage to get FREE toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent??..it just seems impossible. These items are sometimes on sale, and even when they are, the 35cent and 50cent coupons BARELY put a dent in the final price of these items!

      • jess

If you shop at some of the drugstores like Walgreens or CVS you can use you ECB/RR to cover the price of those items. Just remember that you have to have an item for every coupon, so you have have to purchase a “filler” item.

        • Kimberly

Wow, you guys cleared up a few things for me in these replies :)  I wondered what the acorn symbol was and also wondered what the “filler” items are for.  I have read some of the “how to use this site” stuff, but not much.

I don't have a Walgreen's in my area…only a Winn-Dixie and Wal-Mart so I don't get to double on any Q's and rarely get anything for free.  However, I've only been couponing a month and know that I can go into WD, buy $150 worth of groceries and come out with enough food for my family of 5…along with my 3 dogs and 1 cat…for $60 or less…something I'm ecstatic about!!

I have started shopping our local CVS and even Family Dollar.  I've gotten more comfortable with CVS and their ECB's which makes our town's limited selection of stores a bit more bearable.  Family Dollar issues store coupons every week and allow stacking so I've started watching their ads too.  Some things may be a bit more expensive, or the size may be smaller but I come out doing fairly well if I plan my trip and my stacking.  Occassionally I make a drive up to Dothan, AL to visit my parents and hit up one of their Publix stores (which accepts WD store Q's…awesome!!)…and also make a quickie stop at Walgreen's.

One last thing…I've learned that if I take even 1 of my children, it throws off my whole plan and I come out buying stuff I didn't have on my list, lol.

          • guest

When you get comfortable w/ couponing, start taking your kids w/ you and explaining it to them. I have a 20 yo and a 22 yo and both have told me they appreciated my teaching them how to shop before they were on their own because they see how their peers struggle. But I was couponer WAY before they were born so it was easier for me. I am helping my neighbor learn to coupon and we can't even take her 14 yo along yet.

          • Jan

If you live in Alabama, your WInn Dixie should double…If you live in Florida, I don't think they do…If you live close enough to the Alabama line, it may be worth it to make a “acorn” trip about every two weeks or more if there is a good sale at Publix.

            • Jahpayne1214

Dothan, Alabama Publix and Winn Dixie stores do not double coupons. Bummer…

            • I asked the lady at our Winn Dixie and she said the only Winn Dixie down here that doubles is Andalusia. Big Bummer but Food World here in Enterprise doubles up to $0.50 coupon.

          • Patti

I know exactly what you mean!  Thank goodness I'm not alone….I can't take my kids either!

      • The dude

if you are talking about that doctored up show on TV, they have the register rewards they have saved up they use for the show, also remember sometimes you come out better buying the smaller package than you do the big package, like with tooth paste sometimes 2 onces makes a big difference

      • winniesanders

Look at the different stores listed above.  Then, the items are listed and the available coupons.  You have to look at the final price…after the sale, coupons and rewards.  You cannot just cut a coupon and run to Walmart any given week.  If you research the lists that under each store each week, you will find the free or nearly free items…look for the little acorn symbol next to the item.

      • Angelascoupons1

Sajantz, I think there are some items that are pretty darn near impossible to get for free.  Other items are always out there for free if you wait around for the deals. I think the Extreme show is very misleading.  I just don't think this represents the average savings.

When I first started couponing, I was always wondering about using my coupons too early and not waiting around for a product to get to its rock bottom price.  Jenny has a list on this site for what you should expect to pay for items….check it out.  It will help you.  As you will see, she does NOT list TP or paper towels as a typically “free” item.  However, many other items are!  Hope this helps!

      • Jpentrack

SajantZ,   I get totally free laundry soap rarley but never pay more then a couple dollars   first  dont use .35 or .50 cents off coupons at stores that dont double i always save my high value coupons for cvs walmart etc i buy most of my detergents at cvs walgreens i use my coupons with my rewards also when you contact most manufacters they tend to send higher value coupons and some times free

      • pjcouponer

a couple of weeks ago CVS had purex laundry detergent for $1.98 each had a $1.00 coupon and ecb from another transaction and was able to get 6 bottle (the limit per card)  for free.

    • Sunnyaulaura

If I buy 5 tooth past do I need 5 coupons for that to save money or do I need only one coupon for the 5 tooth past? I really don't understand couponing yet but willing to learn to save money.

      • Frenchy2004

You will need 1 coupon for each item

      • The dude

yes you need 5 coupons one for every item, allot of stores if you do the buy one get one free deals you can use two coupons, just did it tonight with ragu pasta sauce, it was bogo, i used two coupons so not only were they half price but also got additional savings on each jar

      • Livenfree2005

yes you will need a coupon for each one. so if you have 5 then you need 5 coupons….have fun I love couponing

    • Dtcox1

might buy two papers this sunday not very good for me this week .

    • bizzymomdct

In regards to the earlier comments, I work for the local newspaper and I see people raiding the recylce bins.  Please be advised that this is ILLEGAL.  The manufactoring compaines have issued warnings to all persons who work for the paper and to distributors who deliver your papers as well.  The warnings is as follows:  you must dispose of any unused papers, ads, coupons etc. accordingly.  Meaning to the recycle bin it goes.  We can not give out coupons as a courtesy for it is theft, since we are not paying for the subscription… so where am i going with this, when they show on Extreme Couponing that people are taking from the recycle bins, if caught they will be charged with theft.  Stealing a newspaper is a Class E Felony and you can be charged with a hefty fine. So please do not steal your neighbors paper either.  In addition, when a paper is delivered and then goes missing the distributor suffers, while they know they delivered the paper the customer still did not get it, therefore some companies will charge the distributor for the missed delivery regardless of where the paper ended up.  So keep in mind the “behind the scenes” of the delivery person as well.

      • Guest

Yes!  My Father is a paper carrier and he has complaints all the time from people not receiving their papers.  He is very meticulous and knows exatly where he left papers and what addresses.  HE gets charged for every complaint.  So if you're stealing the papers you're stealing money from someones paycheck!!!

        • MrsVeronicaR

Thanks for sharing this info. I wish there was a way to raise awareness about it. I had to flip through 5 newspapers this Sunday before finding one that someone hadn't taken the coupons out of and just can't believe that people think its okay to take coupons from a paper they didn't pay for.

          • Jennifer

I have that problem where I live in Mauriceville Texas. Every paper has been gutted. People put in their money into the paper machine, and if they don't just take all the papers, they take all the coupons as well as the sale papers. And when you put your money in, you have nothing worth a dang. I can't imagine how these people think it's okay to do this. Sometimes, I feel like people around here act like animals.

      • Freezu2

I agree that if someone is taking someones paper ..that is stealing however once it is in the trash ie recycle box and on the curb it is public domain….please read the laws and ordinances in your area…you dont have to like …it is what it is..the newspaper company cannot deam it illegal if taken out of the trash …

      • Suzy Payne

I buy all of my papers for my coupons.  Don't do any dumster diving here!!!  So you guys are making paper money from me.  But gosh, keep selling the double papers and help keep helping a gal out herre!!!

    • S Powell

Yesterday I shopped at Harveys, they had Tetley tea BOGO. Price was $2.19 ($4.38 for the two). I had a .50 cent Q for each, which doubled at the register. So, I got 6 boxes (used 6 Q's) and paid .66 cents for 6 boxes of 24 count Tea!  That was fun!

    • Khjbcoupns

has anyone found the sunday ajc.. atlanta paper… early edition and final edition bound on sunday mornings recently.. i used to get the early edition and final edition on sunday mornings bound together for 3.00 .. saving 1.00… the last 2 sundays they have not been bound… one cashier told me that they were no longer going to bind the two editions… grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

      • Corrie_sigler

We were in Atl last weekend. I found the papers bundled at a Shell station over by the Cumberland (?) Mall near the Galleria.

        • Nichole

I got a bundled paper today at the Douglasville Wal-Mart. I also got the 2 sets (well 4 since I bought two papers) of coupons referred to in this post as well.

I **did** go before noon, so perhaps that's why I had no problem.

      • Vonzuvius

I too couldn't find the two AJC papers bundled together last week.  Ended up buying two seperate papers so that cost an extra buck.

    • Deesc38

Hi – Did I miss the variations from the different papers for 6/12. These are so helpful.  I cannot get the link to work for me.

    • Corrie_sigler

I am very new to all of this and love the challenge of reducing my weekly grocery bill which is currently around $180 for a family of 3! I do agree that E.C. is misleading. Last night one mom stated when she finds a great deal she uses a clipping service and orders tons of that coupon. Our local service charges $.65 PER CLIP. I don't see how that equals savings.

      • Joedee98

That is really high!  I have seen them as low as .08.

      • 7308cls

yeah i wouldn't use that service if i was you– seems to defeat the cause–some sites are .05 for everything–i can't see how that service sells much

    • Sonexaymok

I bought Sunday Newspaper on Sunday May 28 and there was no coupons in there. Is that normal?!

      • Tnjcent

Coupons do not come on holiday weekends

      • Jessica

it is because it was a holiday weekend…i've never understood why, but on holiday weekends there will be no coupons

        • Tnjcent

I personally need a break on holiday weekends! I coupon too much…lol

      • Bridggood

yes, coupons are not in the paper the weekend before a holiday. you can always tell if coupons are in the paper because it will tell you the $$ amount of savings on the very top of the front page(The Header)

    • Tnjcent

Heads up on the pillsbury coupon, $1/2 WYB frosting or brownie mix. Publix has a store coupon for $2.00 off a gallon of milf WYB any 1 frosting AND any cake or brownie mix! Found it in the yellow flyer(booklet) “Summer Specials”.

      • Tnjcent

Frosting and cake mix are on sale ths week. Am not sure about the brownie mix.

        • Holleigh

brownie mix is .99 too :)

      • Andywill811

        gallon of milf?      that's great

    • Shelbyford1971

the past few week there has not been very many food coupons why is that???

      • Tljcnj

because half the country is now couponing and they know it.

    • Mamacita40

Hi, I just started couponing, extreme since 4 months ago, I am been doing pretty good, plus give a lot of stuff to the animal shelter, for extra coupons I buy 5 papers, plus I work at the library and they received newspaper and the insert got thow to the the recycling so I grabbed them, plus I go to the my town recycling center and dumpster diving, the lady know me already so not problem at all, if one coupon, i really need I buy them in e-bay, very cheap, plus sometimes they send you extra coupons as a courtesy…

    • Basketcreatonsva

Found B1G1 free at my local Walmart for Colgate Sensitive toothpaste, they were packaged as a set, We have $1.00 off coupons for those, I probably could have used two coupons for each package of two, but I forgot…..so I ended up getting them for a little over a dollar per tube, but you could do much better if you use coupons for each one, making them around .60 cents each!!

      • Jmharding421

I was wondering about “twin packs” tonight.  Can you use 2 q's on them?  Or is it counted as one item?

        • Esingleton23

Twin packs are considered “one” item since there is one bar code it will scan as one item. Pick up two twin packs with a BOGO and you are getting twice the value out of your coupon! Yay!

    • Sandreca77

i live in ky, i have meijers walmart and kroger here, i cant seem to get anything extream i have not gotten the good coupons in the paper i have gotten my bill cut in half any one have any clues whats going on in my neck of the woods

      • Wvladybug72

I live in WV and I Kroger, Walmart, and Food Lion. I can't find the extreme deals either. Our drugs stores have slim pickins too. I hear ya. Half to 60 percent total is all I get matching sale items with coupons.

        • Sandreca77

my  husbands family has  all kinds of stuff has getten 3000 bucks worth of stuff at walmart and got 500 cash back he lives in ohio so im figuring its my stores

      • Tina'sCoups

I live in Fort Walton Beach, FL and have Walmart, Winn Dixie, Food World and Publx and have found Publix the best place to save. ALTHOUGH I cannot seem to save anymore then 45 to 50%. I also do very well with Walgreens and CVS on occassion and Target every once in a while. I do follow Jenny very closely to get the maximum savings as possible but do find the Target deals do vary. I guess it depends on the area you live in.

      • Relentless43

I live in WV and I notice that the coupons that are avaiable now has lost its value greatly. Alot of coupons now require you to get 2 items for the same discount that you use to receive for 1 item. In my area my Sunday's paper have no inserts at all. I find myself printing more now. And I too am not saving as much as I use to. The coupons' world is continuing to change well at least in my area.

      • Sclark060102

I am between Athens and Jefferson and Carnesville. Can you please hook me up with them.

    • Tammy Miller

I when to a Dollar Tree Store and found out that they do not accept coupons.  I sent an email to the Corporate Office, and they said they are running test stores in Chicago, IL and Indian.  If they have good results from these stores they will consider accpeting coupons.

      • Dtcox1

dollar tree is agood place to buy papers on sunday for a dollar and always coupons in them in v a stores

    • Em

I just received the Washington Post and it only had a Red Plum insert. No Smart Source insert. Has anyone else noticed this? Or did I just get shorted a coupon insert? Just need to know because I will contact the Post and let them know I didn't get it.

    • Steph Patterson

If anyone would like to buy inserts from the Atlanta Journal, they are available now on koupon-kash dot com.

    • Casgoodthoughts

When I have an Q that I will never use, I sometimes leave it on the shelf in front of the item or put it with the item.  I have only been using coupons more seriously for 3 months.  I have been frugal since I was 16, now in my late 40's.  I save 40 to 50% on my bill now.  I am happy with the outcome.  I do not extreme stockpile and I will give away items.  I do not clear the shelf.  When I shop, most times there are only two to four of the items left on the shelf for those less than a $1 deals.  I don't get upset.  The less I spend the more I save.  I have high ethical and moral values and would never steal a paper or take more than is needed.  Since I do work full time, I find this to be time consuming.  I like it but will never love it.  The hour it use to takes me to shop now takes two.

This is a great website and a great forum to learn how to save.  Keep up the good work!  God Bless

Question: A coupon for B1 Gillette body wash G1 free can I use two B1G1 coupons that way making the body wash free??

      • No, that would be using 2 manufacturer's coupons on the same item.

        • Aroberts14

Walmart let me use a Buy one Gilette deo G1 body wash free then I used a $2 off the body wash making it a really good buy.

      • Alsobrook

Nope.  But if CVS is running B1G1 and you have a B1G1 coupon, then you can do it.  You have to explain it to them, but it is legit.

    • Sgrant0805

I have only been couponing for a little over a month and have found this site to be extremely helpful. The hardest thing for me is knowing when an item is at it's lowest price to use my coupons and purchase. I have referenced the list in this site but my question is does everyone wait until toothpaste, tooth brushes etc. are free before purchasing? I have yet to run into these type of deals. Also I will never use coupons for haircare products. Loreal, john Freida extra and I am willing to trade for any cetephil or dove coupons. Any responses will be greatly appreciated.

      • Alsobrook

Hi!  I would love to trade hair care for cetephil.  Weren't those in last week's inserts?  If so, I got 4 copies.  If they are on-line, I'll print them for you.  My email is alsobrook@knology.net.  Email me if interested and we'll switch addresses. :)

    • Colleen Catania

No Smart Source in the Montgomery Advertiser (looked through several papers) but a big one in the Birmingham News.

      • Colleen Catania

Oh yeah and got my first $6 ECB with the motrin PM purchase!  YAHOO!!!

      • Stacey

I got Smart Source in the Advertiser, but they were horrible.

    • Tristaprista

None of my St. Pete Times had the Red Plum this week!

      • Carpe

Thats prob because the RedPlum was supposed to have the $2 off and Dial ( making it a money maker ) at Walmart.

    • kp

      My inserts were so weak!

    • Carpe

I really got to wonder if someone on the top might be stealing inserts as NONE of the papers in this area have 50% of the coupons listed in the preview. Not the $2off Dial, not the $1 of tic tacs, not 1 single food item. the inserts where crap and thats saying it midely.

      • Bsanders71

My Redplum only had a few coupons in it. And none of the good ones. Maybe 4 pages total.

    • Spiresj2003

Does any one know where I can get the Birmingham News in Montgomery?

      • Stacey

I get mine at Publix at Cornerstone shopping center.  But they run out.  The inserts in te Advertiser were awful.

      • Elizabeth h

The gas station at the Chantilly exit has them

        • Stacey

I found that out too.  But I was too late when I got there.  I'll be going early next week.

    • shelly

My AJC did not have ANY coupons!  HELP!  Anyone know why?

      • Nd

Someone must of taken them. I bought 2 and they had both inserts even though not all the coupons were there.

      • Kim the Coupon Shipper

Hey Shelly,  I can guarantee your AJC inserts every week for just $2/paper.  If you are in ATL you can pick them up from me locally and pay no shipping.  Please contact me if you would like my help!  kim at thecouponshipper dot com

    • laura

In Gainesville GA i got 2 different SS and RP inserts…So excited…

    • Christina

Post & Courier in Charleston, SC didn't have Schick razor coupons.  Ugh!  Was I  the only one?

    • Mel

I bought 2 papers today…one had NO coupons in it.  One has only the SmartSource coupon insert (no Redplum).  I went to buy a third newspaper and it had ZERO coupons in it.  What gives??

      • Ev

I hate it whan that happens!

      • That always sucks! I've had it happen a couple times myself, so now I stop and check ALL my papers before I buy them. I go into Walmart and get 4 papers every Sunday, and I stand at an empty counter and check all of them. When I was checking today, 2 papers were missing inserts… So I had to check through 2 more to see if they were in there. I'm sure people look at me funny, but I always put the papers back neatly, so it's not like I'm causing any harm. I just refuse to pay for a paper in which I'm not receiving all of the contents.

        • Mel

I was really wanting to go through them but I unfortunately had my 20 month old with me and he had other ideas ;)  so I just paid and ran.  hahaha Now I know!

        • Teresa

That is really irritating.  What's even worse is when you are paying for home delivery and the inserts are missing.  I'm cancelling my subscription after today.  This is the third time the N&O has done it to me after promising that my paper would be personally checked for all the inserts after the first two times.

          • Liz

I cant understand what the problem is!!  Why is it now a big deal for them to put the inserts in the paper? Over a month now and no coupons in my area!!

    • Ashley2

I'm trying to start couponing but have no idea which papers will have the coupon inserts in them.  Please help! I'm tired of paying full price for things!

    • Kim

I always check to make sure the coupons are still in the paper because I have the same thing happen to me, not a good experience after you get home.

    • Greta

no schick coupons in my Smart Source.

    • Liz

Here in Layland WW and for the past month or so, no coupons in the Register Hearld papers. Does anyone know when coupons will be available again ?

    • Advptts

no schick in my florida paper. but went to the actual paper to buy xtra copies a few weeks ago and the lady told me to check that the coupons were in there, they only get so many. they go first to home delivery and then if there are any left they go to the ones in the stores so make sure you check before u buy.

      • Nina

I went to walmart and bought all of my papers and I didn't get any Schick either.

    • Cammy

No Dial lotion or hand soap coupon in my RP! Did anyone else not get it?

      • Cherelle

I didnt get any RPs at all! And I bought 4 newspapers! UGH I was definitely wanting that dial

    • Nina

I didn't get any Schick Hydro coupons in my Smartsource

      • Cbcb5913

Neither did I. Did anyone get them?

        • Elisefeagle

          Fla times union did

    • Me_n_jazlyn

i set my alarm for 3:30am and i go look through  the news papers and make sure my coupons are in there before i pay that  way i am sure to get them :)

    • Margecoupon

My coupon inserts in Chattanooga were awful! The RP especially!

      • Sandy

Savannah as well. I'm getting to wonder why I subscribe to the newspaper.

    • Pandak1968

There were no inserts in the Sunday paper in Greeneville, Tn. so aggravating. I spent $2 and there were a nest of wasps came after me from the paper box. I'm going to order the inserts on the web.

    • Kellie

No huggies coupons:(( will gladly trade if anyone is interested!!
      Email me at kelliemerola@yahoo.com

    • Savn2gether

I receive the Savannah and Georgia Times Union papers. A lot of the coupons vary from those listed above. I know a list is usually posted the next week of coupons that are different in those papers from the list above. But, are those coupons entered into the general database on southern savers? I've been cutting all the coupons that vary to keep from missing out on a deal. Is that necessary, or are those usually included in future lists of deals for specific stores?

    • Zadieshay

I bought the last 2 Birmingham news today and they only had the smart source insert in them. Has anyone else had that problem or did I just get sorted?

    • Lisa

      I didn't receive the Red Plum insert in my paper…..SO disappointed…..wahhhh! :-(

      • Amidaniels29

Neither did I (FL here) and at first I thought someone had stolen them (happens a lot) but I bought 2 more papers from another store (middle of stack) and same thing. Just the SS was there. Ugh.

    • Justlikene0n

No Dial coupons, no Lysol coupons in my RP or SS in Savannah, GA. I buy 10 papers every Sunday, and double check for all inserts, and then get home to find that my coupons don't match up to what's listed on the site. There goes my big shopping trip for this morning! :(

      • Palmettotaylors

Mine didn't have the schick either. Did your's? I was looking forward to that one.

    • Sherri

pandak1968, how do you order just the inserts?  Sounds like a good way to cut costs.
      thanks, Sherri

      • Pattcoupons

You can order them from koupon-kash dot com.

      • Pandak1968

I had coupondede dot com but I just checked out Koupon Kash and place an order. It seems to be cheaper. We'll see.

      • Kim the Coupon Shipper

I send out inserts from the Atlanta Journal Constitution for $2/paper + actual shipping costs.  If you're interested just contact me at kim at thecouponshipper dot com!

    • Hullwatson

when will you update the walmart deals for this week?

    • sweetie3989

i live in upstate SC (honea path to be exact) and I usually have to buy two different papers from two diff cities (the anderson independent and greenwood's index-journal) in order to get all of the coupons.  Anderson's only had redplum and Greenwood's only had SS (or maybe it was the other way around).  Luckily our local Bi-lo carries both since we're right in the middle of both counties.  I wish I could find the Greenville News around here though.. anyone know where I can get it?

Oh and I got the Dial Lotion or body wash coupon and will be using it at Dollar General where they have the lotion on sale for $3! It'll only be a dollar after the coupon. Just fyi in case anyone else needs some lotion =)  Seems to be the cheapest price for this lotion after looking through everyone's ads.

      • That Coupon Guy

Try Hickery Point gas stations. They usually have the greenville news (im here in Anderson off of 81 and they always have Anderson Independent and Greenville News)

        • sweetie3989

Thanks so much! I didn't know they carried it. Does that paper usually have different coupons than the anderson independent? Just wondering so I don't make a trip to Anderson this Sunday for nothing.

          • Yomama542

Most places do carry the Greenville News.  I live in Anderson as well and almost every store carries the Greenville paper as well as the Independent.  I always buy Greenville because it's cheaper.  Greenville's inserts are the same as Anderson's, only be careful when you clip them [if you do] because they are sometimes printed differently.  Same coupons, only printed in different orders!

      • Susan

I got my Dial body wash for free at Publix.  Actually, I made money on the deal and the clerk gave me cash back!  This was the first time this has happened for me and I was so excited!  I think the sale ended yesterday.  I wish I had seen your post earlier.  Don't know if you have Publix in your area.  I'm in North Georgia.  You got a great deal, too, however.  You saved money and got the best bargain you could fine.

        • Aimeewhittle

Where do ou get your coupons Susan?  I am in North GA too and the Atl journal is $3.25 each!  OUCH!

    • Kim the Coupon Shipper

If you are tired of looking all over time just to find your inserts have been taken out of your paper or you didn't get all the coupons I'm here to help!!  Please contact me at kim at thecouponshipper dot com and I'm happy to make sure you can relax on Sundays and know that you're getting your inserts.  $2/paper and I only charge actual shipping costs (usually $5 for priority flat rate).  If you go in with some friends you can really save on shipping.

      • Aimeewhittle

        your site isn't loading…

    • Sunshinye

I did get sunday's paper but all of the coupons was not in there.  I don't understand.
