Here are the differences in the coupon inserts you received Sunday 3/13.

Click on the paper near you to see what coupons were actually in the inserts around the Southeast. Check out the differences to really get an idea of what paper is the best to buy.

A few ways to use these lists:

  1. If you see that you did not get a coupon that was released, you can go to online coupon sites and order it.
  2. Print the list for your area and keep it with your inserts to quickly know if you have that coupon.
  3. Use it as a way to decide what paper is the best paper in your area to buy.

A legend for the list:

Black = You got this coupon!
Red = Not in this insert

Blue = A Change in value or a new coupon not in the preview.

North Carolina Raleigh News & Observer can always be found here http://projects.newsobserver.com/taking_stock

    • Chrystal

I am really confused by this post. I get the birmingham news. I can't click on it. So how do i know what coupons I got. And is this for Wednesday's paper or for Sunday's paper?

      • Couponjunkie

Maybe no one has volunteered to go through the circulars and post what is and is not in them. These are for Sunday's papers.

      • Guest

If there's no hyperlink (blue text), then there's no info/volunteer for that paper. Jenny depends on volunteers to get information for the cities/papers listed.

P.S. I've always wondered why the stats aren't listed in alphabetical order. Jenny?

      • April

I was on vacation this week and wasn't home to get the paper or verify coupons… email me if you're still interested and I will send you this list when I get finished with the next list. Thanks….

    • MBGirl

I am also confused. Every time I click on the link for the Tennessean (Nashville) I see the coupons that were for LAST week's paper (3/13). Do you just update them as they come in?

      • Couponjunkie

3/13 is the LAST Sunday's paper that was printed (a few days ago). It gives volunteers a few days to go through and post what was in their paper.

      • NolaGirl

For upcoming coupons, go to Sunday Coupons Preview. The purpose of this post is to let readers know which coupons were actually included or NOT included in their hometown's paper from the preceeding Sunday, which in this case is Sunday, March 13th.

If you compare what's posted in the Sunday Coupons Preview to your local paper, there are significant differences. These differences are shown as red or blue text in the links above.

    • Guest

The tennessean did not get a post cereal coupon- it is only for post snack bars. :(

    • Susan

OK, so I think I understand now. So these are for LAST Sunday, even though the header says 3/16 was Sunday? And we wait until next Wednesdays post for the variations for THIS Sunday's paper (the 19th)?

      • Kris

Yes. The inserts come out on Sunday, i.e. 3/13. Between Sun and Wed, volunteers reconcile the official list with what we actually got in our papers and send the info to Jenny. She post it on Wednesday so that as we clip in the future, we can reference what we actually got in our local papers.

        Hope that helps.

    • Missak610

The tennessean I got didn't have a red plum at all only smart source.

      • Cuponesdebassquez

you know I have noticed some differences in The Tennessean depending on which part of town I buy it at…sometimes I buy it up in Inglewood at Kroger (on Mondays I teach in that area) or sometimes I buy it at Smyrna Kroger. The Inglewood Kroger seems to frequently be missing inserts, which I think may have to do with the provider who brings them the leftover papers on Mondays…I think they stuff them wrong. I also noticed that one of my SmartSource from 3/6 had different coupons than the SmartSource 3/6 I bought in Smyrna. When I looked closely at the small type print on the side of the insert, one was notated as the insert for the Tennessean, and the other was for a long list of small papers like the Gallatin Sentinel, Murfreesboro DNJ, etc. or something like that. Interesting….

        • Pfamcoupons

I have noticed when I buy my papers at CVS ( for a $1) in Madison, where I live, I have an abundance of coupons. I went to Kroger this last time and my coupons were kind of skimpy. I think I will be going back to CVS.

      • Hildawins

I was told at a seminar that the store papers (Kroger for example) get their papers last – the home delivery gets the first ones, so if they run out of coupons it is the stores first. It is cheaper to have a subscription than to buy at the store.

    • Mcleodsc

THE ITEM, Sumter , S.C. usually has only one insert or sometimes none. Why? Who decides which newspaper gets which inserts?

    • Sanran0116

I wonder if it would pay me to order the New York Times Paper…does anyone know?

    • Pfamcoupons

Does anyone know where I can find the Missing Eggo Coupon and Ragu coupons from Redplum? I'm in TN-

      • faith

I can mail you my eggo coupons. Went to store today and my son said he didn't want any…I think I have about 2 or 3. Let me know. No charge to you! lwisdom101 at msn dot c o m

    • Littlelawyer

Birmingham did NOT get the KC Masterpiece coupon! I am BITTER!! the south not getting a BBQ sauce coupons???…what idiots!!!

    • malou

Is there any stores in north alabama that doubles coupons up to .99 cents?

      • Hildawins

In Byron, GA the Freds store triples coupons on Saturday – but only up to 77 cents? I guess it is a good way to use your 25 cent ones if item is on sale.

        • Pamwil88

Is that just Byron Ga, or is it all Freds?

      • Terrayfic

not sure if you have a piggly wiggy around, but the one in Hoover doubles to .99

    • Crisci

I get the Fayetteville Observer in NC. Is there any way that either I or someone can get a list of the coupons in this paper. I'd be glad to post the coupons if I knew how to get them.

    • Kenzbug

Is anybody living around Macon, GA? I am getting a ton of inserts each week from a friend and would like to share them with someone, there is no way I can use all of the coupons.

      • Hildawins

I am in Byron, I would love to sway out. Do not use any baby coupons – or makeup at all.

    • Eremtgal11

I live in Augusta GA and would love your coupons:)

    • Hildawins

Macon didn't get the Red Plum BOGO for the Irish deodorant last week. ;-(. My DH works in LA and I am thinking of recruiting him to get the ads from the hotel paper on Sunday…

      • Kenzbug

It seems like Macon never gets the “good” coupons. I'm thinking about trying out the Atlanta paper.

    • Kleirer1

I did not get any coupons in the Birmingham News! Is that right? It's looking like from this list that maybe a lot of people had that issue…I think its weird that I have been getting coupons without a paper subscription and this is the first Wednesday I had the paper delivered and no coupons :(

      • Nikki

I have had this happen so many times I cancelled my subscription! I know solely order coupons inserts online! Me and 3 other women go intogether to offset the shipping, and it equal to about the same BUT saves on time and hassle of finding papers for only $1 at the Dollar Tree!

      • MBGirl

I have gotten to the point where I stop and check the paper for the coupons in them before I buy them. I have gotten them home and not had any in them when we were supposed to have 2 or 3 and that is really aggravating. Since all I buy the paper for is the coupons anyway. They won't say anything to you for making sure they are in there before you buy the paper.

        • Ilmsweethearts

we have had problems with people taking the coupons from more than just the paper they bought. Always check before you buy to make sure they are all in there..

    • mary

the AJC insert variation print-out says for 3/6 but I think it is actually for 3/13, is this correct?

    • Stacynorris

You know, I buy both AJC Atlanta and a Chattanooga Times Sunday paper and it is really crazy at the coupon variations between the 2 papers.

    • Lisa

I got a good one for all you couponing people. I went to Ponderosa today 3/17/11 for breakfast and got a free Boynton Beach Forum newspaper in Florida and it had both Redplum and Smart Source coupon inserts. For FREE can you believe it.

      • faith

That happened in my weekly ad flyer this week in Greenville, SC

    • Lisa

      Oops! I meant Panera.

    • where is texas?? we're southern too!

    • Joney Lightsey

Another place to get free coupons in Florida if you are in Broward county is Pompano Forum, Hi Riser and I think the other is Jewish Journal they all are FREE!!! and they all have the Smart Source and Red Plum coupons.

      Just learning,
