    • Doe

check your emails before going this weekend i got $5 off $25 and ma got 25% off purchase!!!

      • Katie

I did too but mine says it excludes all sale items. So not such a good deal

        • I don't think the razors are on sale, they are just part of the deal, at least that is how it looks to me, so the % would be off of the razors, be sure to hand them this coupon FIRST.

          • Zee

            Thanks for pointing that out!!!!!!!

    • Catherine Taylor

There are also a few CVS coupons for the Schick razors on their website that are store q's.  Makes the Schick mm even sweeter!

    • Beth

Is  “cream shave” included? It appears to be different than shave cream.

      • Jcwiakala_44

I've been reading from other message boards that the cream shave is more than 2.19…closer to 3.99.  It should still count towards the deal but won't be quite as cheap.
Incidentally, I noticed that my Kroger had the cream shaves on sale for the past two weeks $2/2.

        • Janell

When the printable coupons first came out, Jenny showed a picture from the ad that showed the cream shave being included in the price. So, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

      • itsjustsweet

i was at CVS this week and the price on the cream shave at my store was $4.69, but they do have bottles of “shave cream” which looks like the gel.  Not sure if the coupon will work on the one in the can though

    • Misty

My $4 off Renu coupon (SS 6/12) was for a 2 pack, not a single 12 oz. bottle…

      • Just4yall

I am almost sure it is mistake.

      • Erin

Agreed, this is a mistake. It's still a moneymaker thought with the $2 off.

    • Sha08

For the Playtex and Schick deal, can you do a mix of the two brands or do you have to purchase $20 of one or the other to get ECB?

      • sassafras

        You can mix and match

      • Bamasaver

You can mix & match them.  I just hope our stores are sufficiently stocked for this particular deal…that's usually a problem around my area.  I don't shop on Sun. mornings because I leave for church at 9:30 & stores don't open until 10:00–good deals are often gone by the time I get there!

    • Just4yall

Ok I have a question about the $3 herbal/aussie coupon. It says “$3 off ONE Herbal or Aussie styler when you purchase ONE Herbal or Aussie product.” Does that mean you can purchase ONE shampoo with $1 coupon and then use the $3 coupon to get $3 off a styler?

      • Zee

No, the way the coupon is coded it takes $3 off of TWO products. No other coupon will be allowed on those same two products.

        • Deecheers4rv

I went and did a trial run and both coupons went through fine.

          • Adriane

I bought 2 Aussie stylers and used 2 $3/2 Q’s at both CVS and Walmart. At Walmart they are $2.88 so totally FREE. My CVS also let’s me use a man. Q and store Q on free items. So whoever asked that question yes you can. I rarely have a CVS store Q but when I do I stack with no issues. Good luck :))

      • Justineandtodd

Yes you can use both coupons. I just talked to the manager at cvs and he said the $3 is off the styler and the $1 is off any Aussie product.

      • Eli

I guess I would read that differently.  It says $3 off one if you buy one – so you are paying full price for the second one and the coupon attaches to the first one (not the second) so I would think you could use another coupon for the 2nd item.  Unless it says $3.00 off 2 – then I would agree with you that you can't use any other coupons

      • Carol

I did this scenario a couple weeks ago at CVS when Aussie products were on sale. I bought a shampoo and a hair spray. They did accept both coupons! Great deal!

        • Jjfdv

I did this as well.  It definitely works using  boths coupons.

          • Just4yall

Thats awsome, wish I had more then 2 of them now.

      • Kaela

Ive used these 2 qs before with no problem!

    • Just4yall

BTW the styers on sale to so you can use the $3 off coupon its not up there.

    • ThomasHGNS

I got $31.68 f.or a XBOX 360 and m.y mom got a 17 inch Dell laptop for $95.84 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $53.79 to get. Here is the website we are using to get all this stuff GrabNow.com

    • Hmm

anyone know how the $5 ECB WYB (2) Neutrogena Facial Cleansers
starting at 2.99 works? wish the price estimates were listed and which of the 3 coupons is this deal using?

      • sassafras

I would go preview the prices of the products in the store before. That way you know what coupons you can match with the products and what your out of pocket cost will be ahead of time.

    • Sabelyne

Ok… this will be my second week CVSing so I'm still not proficient, but if I am looking at everything correctly, I am going to walk in with 6 ECB and $5 and walk out with $48.21 in products (pre tax) and 11 ECB.  If this works the way I think it will….. I will be sold on this for life!

      • Just4yall

Yeah, this is a really good week.I am working on making most $30 this week with the olay rebate. Using 2 sept transan & 2 $10/50 coupons. I am going to cvs on friday and saturday hoping for another one.

      • mommyof1

its hard at first.. but it is so worth it.. last week i got over $35 in items and only paid $.33 before tax.. and still got back $7 in ecb! sometimes i amaze myself at the great deals u can do.. lol! yay cvs! and good luck!

    • Stephanie

I am really new at this and have a question, if I do separate transactions and end up with two separate ECB's, can I then turn around and buy something else and use both ECB in the same transactions? Sorry if this is confusing.. I am confused.

      • sassafras

Yes! You have it correct. ECBs can be combined from any transactions.

        • Stephanie

Thank you sassafras.. I am going to be banking it then…

      • Allison

Sure can, or you can use the ECB from transaction #1 to lower your out of pocket cost in transaction #2 (as long as the ECB are less than your pre-tax total). HTH. There is also a great getting started guide and video on the top right box of this page. It was really helpful for me when I started shopping at CVS.

      • EB

CVS treats their ECBs like “CVS money” – no special rules and restrictions like at Walgreens – the only main stipulation is that they will not give you change back so you forfeit any value of ECB you give them that is more than the cost of your items (without the tax – you have to pay the tax yourself)

    • Mounit98

Could someone tell me which coupons would be best to use with the Neutrogena deal?

    • Ashley

I printed a cvs coupon from their website for $2 off of schick disposable razors..will go good with the schick ECB deal

    • Just4yall

She didnt add it but their is a CVS coupon for $2 off any Schick Disposable razors on thier website so you can make an extra $2 on that deal. And if you are like me and do not have the BOGO coupon you can print out 2 and use both if your store has the 4ct xtreme 3 to make it $8.36 before ECB.

      • Jen

What zip code did you use?  I don't see the coupon.

        • Just4yall

It is on the CVS webite under Instore coupons.

          • cassia2

Do you have a zipcode in there though?  I looked there as well and though I found 3 pages worth of coupons none of them were for the Schick.

            • Just4yall

my zip code is set on 34758 and is showing it.

            • cassia2

Thanks!  I see it now.  For some reason the fact that it was labeled “Energizer” instead of “Schick” threw me off before.

            • Walli

              try these 90210 or 86351

      • Lindem22

Can't you use two even if you do have the BOGO Q? It would be a $2 CVS and A BOGO MQ for one and a $2 CVS and $1 MQ for the other. Will that work?

        • Just4yall

You cant take $2 off 0

          • Erin

They allow coupons on both items in a BOGO sale, would that be the same thing??

            • Just4yall

Maybe would have to ask someone that knows CVS better. I know my cvs dosnt even allow me to use a second coupon with a bogo coupon.

            • Kissingvampires

i have worked for many retail stores. B1G1 free coupons covers 2 items (not just the 1 free item).

        • Mommy2Boys

Yes, 1 MQ for each item and then the CVS coupon.  The bogo coupon is used to to get the 1 item free and the the $2 CVS and $1 MQ are for the the one you are paying for.

        • Kissingvampires

No. B1G1 coupons count towards 2 items. you can still use a store and manf. but B1G1 counts towards 2 items. if the cashier over rides it, they are risking their own neck in coupons fraud.

          • Kissingvampires

and i've worked for walgreens, cvs, ect. believe me i know.

            • newbie

So ? if a store starts their sales early on saturday will the ecb still print?

      • Margoren

        Wow! Thank You.

      • JennLuffman

I've checked for the coupon; doesn't come up for me.

    • Stephanie

I have a question about the 25% Q. Is the item considered on sale b/c it is part of the ECB deal? I'm wondering about the pens and Renu.

      • Bamacat

It has been my experience that the 25% coupon doesn't work on anything that is in the add, even if it is regular price in the ad.  It also doesn't work on any ECB deals.

        • Tracey

I took my 25% off to CVS today to purchase the revlon mascara that happen to be B1G1 50% off, even though I was only purchasing one and it was regular price the cashier told me I could not use it because it was in the ad.

          • Kaela

I printed mine to see if it'll work on the shick slimtwin disposables b.c. they aren't in the ad.

      • mrsmadayar

I used a percent off reg price beauty q a couple of weeks ago. I used it on a couple of items that did not have a sale price but did give ECB. It worked just fine. I hope that answers your question.

      • Kissingvampires

25% off does not work on sale items but if the item is it's regular price with ECB it should work. Now if the item is $1 off and has ECB it won't work on that item.

    • WooHooo!!! LOL! No seriously, I am very excited about the CVS sales this week.  THanks, Jenny!

    • Free Neutrogena Facial Bar at CVS starting next week with coupon

      • Margoren

        What coupon? Thanks!

        • Did you get the coupon Margoren? You can print out 2 coupons… Make both free!!

          • newbie

i dont see that coupon either where did you find it?

            • Its on the site, and click on it, will direct you to olay website, click offers, and you can see so many coupons you choose

          • Margoren

I am not familiar at all with this products. So I went to their website and did not see any coupon that said “bar”. I saw some that said pads… Is the bar coupon gone? Thanks!

    • Stacyannw

Just fyi i believe that the $4 off Bausch+Lomb Renu Fresh or Sensitive Multi-Purpose Solution, 12 oz, SS 6/12 is for the double pack not the single pack so i don't think it will work, however it is still free + a little profit with the $2.00 off from the same ss

      • Mel

Yea! I think Jenny should change that so no one  uses it.

      • Kaela

It is for the double pack.

      • Mary

I have a Renu coupon that says Save $2.00 on any 12 oz Renu Fresh or Sensitive multi-purpose solution. Expries 8 -31-11

    • Just4yall

Cant Use $1 Crest Rinse to get it free. The one on sale is 250ml and coupon is for 440ml+

      • Margoren

I wouldn't do that. It's not the right coupon.

        • Allison

That would be coupon fraud, and therefore illegal. Also,

          • Kissingvampires

And causes cashiers to get fired. and yes, they do get caught.

      • Ilovecoupons

If all you you that are making comments to this post would read it before being SOOOO judgmental – it says “CAN”T USE.”

I have decided everyone on here that is quick to make comments are the ones that use coupons wrong and feel guilty…just saying.

        • Margoren

Ups, sorry about that. I thought it said CanI use. I am glad you pointed this out. I need to read more carefully and I also need my eyes checked, no kidding.
I'm so sorry just4yall, I was not trying to be judgmental….

        • Just4yall

Lol Ty, All good though. I just commented on it becuase above it says Use $1 makes it Free. Except I dont think For Me is on sale and you can use the Crest Rinse coupon, so none of it is free.

    • And8203

I need some help on the Schick deal option 1: how can you use a coupon for the razors after using a b1g1 for them? Can you use one on the free pack?

      • Bamabobbie

Yes you can use the b1g1 and also mfg on the one you paid for.

        • Just4yall

Question is Can you use 4 coupons on 2 items when using a BOGO coupon? 1BOGO ,1 $1off, and 2 $2 CVS coupons.

          • Bamasaver

That should work because you're buying two items, using two manuf. Qs and two store Qs…unless the B1G1 Q attaches to both items (in that case you wouldn't be able to use the other manuf. Q).

          • Kissingvampires

A B1B1 coupon covers 2 items, not one. You can use 1 manf. and 1 store coupon per item but the B1G1 Free counts towards 2 items and the cashier is not supposed to take it because it's doubling. A cashier may override it BUT are not supposed to since 90% of coupons do not allow doubling and can get in trouble.

    • Marlamae

do all cvs' start their sale the saturday before. if so does the ecb/sale start at a certain time?

      • Kaela

The register starts at 6 but my cashier usually will manually do mine anytime after 5.

        • Marlamae

K, thanks ya'll! I'm going to try to go to mine around 7 saturday night, ours is really popluar and run out of the ecb's really fast!

      • Missy

At our CVS the sales start at 5 p.m. the Saturday before.  And it will start printing those new ECBs that are advertised for the following day.  Does that make sense?

        • Kissingvampires

yes. when starting the next sale early, all the registers/computers are set to run that ad as if it's already next week. there's ALOT more to it than just putting up sale signs.

      • ireneY

From what Ive heard, yes, except for the 24 hour stores.

      • Kissingvampires

NO! (sorry, setting the record straight). CVS is not “supposed” to start the next weeks ad until 6pm the saturday before. However, some stores may start it before depending work flow but putting up next weeks ad means taking down the old ad which means sales signs are taken down while the sale is still going on and that confuses last minute shoppers so some stores actually wait until sunday. it's up to the store manager to make the call.

    • Katblue1987

If you are doing the 20/50 Olay rebate you will also get a 5.00 ECB if you are signed up for the beauty club. Lots of things count on this and for every 50.00 you spend (before coupons) you get 5.00 ECB. I have earned several this year.

    • Brenda

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet or not but there is a CVS coupon on their website for 2.00 of Schick Disposables!!  You can use this with a manufacturers coupon to make the Schick deal a little sweeter!!

      • bee09

Yep. I just printed it out. Hope this will work.

        • Couponj

what zip?  I can't find it!

          • I found it under 35758

            • JLorch

I think the coupon may be gone now because I can't find it under the above zip or any other zip that I have tried.  Thanks for the info. though.

            • Dholler

I just printed it under 30016

            • Anna

I found it under this zip but it was tricky b/c the large print says Energizer and the small print says Schick.

      • raz

        • Brownketch

thanks!  the others posted didn't work.

    • Frugal4life

Everytime I had tried to use a B1G1 Q at CVS they will not accept an additional Q. Im always told that Q's are attached. It's this right?

      • EB

It usually works if you give them the $/1 coupon first and then the B1G1

        • Kissingvampires

A B1G1 Q covers 2 products. To use an addition Q on those 2 specific items is doubling and the register will flag it or the cashier can refuse it ahead of time. Cashiers can be terminated for not handling coupons correctly and as specified. They do have people go back and review their transactions. Believe me, I would know.

          • FreedomSpradley1

I disagree.  If you call CVS corporate they will confirm the ability to use a second $/1 coupon with a B1G1 coupon.  It has been my experience that the register does NOT beep if the cashier scans the $/1 coupon first and then the B1G1.  No cheating here so no reason for cashiers being terminated!!  It's not like the cashiers are pushing the coupon through, all they are doing is reversing the order in which they are scanned.

    • Lorri

The 3 major grocery stores in my area had such terrible ads this week.  CVS saves the day!

    • Lmb072

The shave cream is 3.99 not 2.19, just FYI.

      • Couponj

I keep seeing posts like this but I don’t know why.  At CVS.com the sneak preview ad is up and it states the Shave Gel or Cream sale price is 2.19.

      • Amber

The ad scan says, “Edge, Skintamate shave gel or cream, SALE $2.19”

      • My ad says $2.19

** But prices WILL vary from place to place

    • Tamika

I have a B1G1 coupon for Schick for anyone who wants to trade for huggies pull up coupons. Please respond with your email and I will respond back.  I live in Montgomery County, MD

      • Zee

zeegirl84       yahoo email.  I've got plenty.

    • newbie

For the herbal essence deal can you use both $1 herbal essence product and $3 off a stylant when you buy shampoo or conditioner???

      • Jen

        Should be able to, yes.

      • Zee

Actually no you can't.. The $3 q is a 3/2 products. It would beep.

      • Sarah

In order to use both coupons you would have to buy 3 products the $3 coupon is off of two products. Happy shopping :)

      • You cant… as Zee stated, it's $3 wyb 2 prods (a styler & another prod) so it would beep.

    • Try Me Free product at CVS, Its After Shave Gel At $7.99, check for more information

      • Hi Guys, for this Cremo Cream Try Me Free, I just get an update from the CEO, i just post the CVS store lists that carry this  Cremo Cream Try Me Free. Check them out, to find your store

    • Janell

ok, so I just printed the $2 off Schick CVS coupon. Can I use two of those along with all the other coupons mentioned since 2 are CVS coupons and the rest are MQ?? I guess I am asking if you can combine CVS and MQ for one item?

      • Yes, you should be able to use one CVS coupon and one manufacturer coupon per item!!

    • Moulstock

I have a ? I received a %25 off entire purchase coupon. I am planning on buying 9 skintimate shaving gel for 22.41 if this 25% comes off will it affect the spend 20 amount i need? or will it work like the rest of the coupons and come off after i earn it? Has anyone ever done this? I assume I use it then give them the rest of my coupons.

      • Most of the 25% off entire purchase coupons from CVS exclude sale items, so double check the bottom of your coupon before you shop!  Also, the $20 amount you need is before any coupons.

        • Debbiesc

Yes, check, had that happen to me the first time I got one and saved $.06 cents!

      • I don't 'think' the razors are on sale, so teh 25% 'should' work on that part of the deal, then coupons.  I have done this before at CVS, just be sure to hand them the % coupon BEFORE the M Q for maximum savings.

      • Sheila

I think the Skintimate is listed as being a sale price, so I think that you would not get the 25% of it.  If it is not on sale, then the price you pay before the coupon counts towards the deal.

      • katie

even if its not a “sale price” being that you get ECB, it is an advertised “sale”  — your 25% coupon will most likely not work on any of them.  Its only for something thats truly regular price- you wont find any sale, clearance, or ECB tag hanging off the shelf!

    • Moneymaker at Olay PRoducts… check this out, if this gonna work for you…

    • Htc19942

I have 2 questions about CVS….if something says get $4 ECB WYB $10.00 worth of product is that before coupons of after. Also is there a limit meaning if I go into the store and buy diapers and get $5.00 ECB can I go back later in the week and purchase diapers again and get $5.00 more ECB?

      • Debbiesc

The items where you earn ECB back, it will tell you the limit underneath the add.  Coupons do not matter as long as you meet the required amount on the product.  Example:  2 Pantene for $6.97, with $2.00 ECB's back, making it $4.97.  I used a $3.00 off of 2 coupon and got the $2.00 ECB's back, so in the end they will have cost me $1.97 for the 2 before tax.  Does that make sense?  Your receipt will also tell you that you have or have not earned all that applies to that deal.

        • Htc19942

Well I bought a case of diapers 2 weeks ago and got back $5 ECB…..so I would not be able to get this deal again this week? And alot of times I see buy 10.00 worth of Noxema products get $5.00 ECB…..would that be before coupons?

          • ChrissyPunkin

The limits are for that week only, unless it's a month-long deal.  So you could get more diapers. :-)  Totals are always before coupons.

          • Allie

Normally it is before coupons. And always use store, manufacture coupons first.  Then ECB's last in your transaction.

    • another high value $2 off any VISINE, you could score them for FREE at CVS.

    • Why do people complain when Jenny does the ad and coupon matching if there are coupon links where coupons are no longer available or coupons posted that cannot be used due to size, volume, quantity, item specifics?  Jenny does a lot here and shares some amazing deals with us, the least we can do is NOT complain about the little things.  It's up to us to read the coupons!!  Please, some of you, have a little respect.

      • Troop949

I absolutely agree!  Jenny does so much of the work for us, but we (shoppers) need to “dot the i's and cross the t's”, so to speak.  Let's thank her for what she does and keep the complaints to ourselves.  The fact is, she saves us all money and time, and we can pass those savings on to others.  I'm a huge fan of this site and everything it stands for.

      • Shelly

And don't forget, she does all of this for FREE!!

    • Msmith

This is as lame as the crap your complaining about

    • karen

      thanks jenny

    • Jennamariescoupons

I have an extra B1G1 Schick Q if someone is able to trade for 2 Lumene Qs
      Email me at jennamariescoupons@gmail.com

      • Jennamariescoupons

I also would be willing to trade the B1G1 for a Baush and Lomb $4 Q

        • Stacyannw

I don't have the Lumene coupon but i have at least 1 maybe a couple of the Bausch + Lomb coupons $4.00 off and $2.00 off, i will send all the ones i can find if you want to trade, the only thing is the $4.00 off one states that it is for the 2pack, but even with the $2.00 off its still a money maker just let me know, you can email me at stacyannw@hotmail.com

        • Mel

The Baushe and Lomb q cant not be used for the ecb offer. It clearly stated for the double pack.

    • Zee

Okay…my CVS marked the cheapest Lumene down to 3.69 (used to be 4.19) so the $4 q can't be used. The next cheapest thing is 6.99 I think. But if you scan your card at the Red machine, you should get a 5 off of 20 skin care.

Also I think the Garnier deal is allowed more than one.Because I did it once this week and it says I need to spend about $13 to get it again

      • Mcleodsc

You can still use the coupon! The register will beep on the last cpn and the cashier will adjust it down !

      • You can still use it. The overage will go towards another Lumene product. (CVS only allows coupon overage to go towards the same brand))

    • Leigh Varnedore

GO TO CVS NOW! For all you ladies who color your hair, like me, you know how important a sulfate free shampoo is to maintaining color (why pay $100 to get your “hair did” and then make it brassy from bad shampoo). Well, i walked into my CVS yesterday to browse the clearance and there were cvs brand sulfate free shampoo and conditioners (like the new loreal sulfate free line) in the clearance cart for $1.24. With the $2 off 2 shampoo coupon at the kiosk I got 2 bottles for .48! That is $10 worth of shampoo for .48, no ecb or manufacture coupons needed. A great pick me up to my day:)

      • Zee

Yes even look at the shelves. I saw some brand, not sure but it was those of you with Blonde hair, definitely a good deal. Also I saw plenty of makeup on sale for less than $2.
Caution***- check the clearance makeup to make sure it hasn't already been opened. I mistakenly bought 2 lip glossess that were already open

        • Breezycamacho

Treseme shampoo for blondes cleance for 1.75 ish ( I forgot already) BIG bottle too! A score!

    • Mama23babygirls

Why does it say the shaving cream is $2.49 in one place and $2.19 under scenarios? Which one is it???

      • Prices will vary from store to store.

      • Shirley

I think the $2.49 is just a typo. The ad says it's on sale for $2.19.

      • DianaY19

The ad on i heart cvs dot com shows $2.49

    • Hi Guys, grab newest $1 off any Sally Hansen pedicure products, this often on clearance at drug stores, and products starting at $2.49 regular price, … grab yours now

    • Samantha

Does anyone know how much the Neutrogena wave is and the Neutrogena pads?  TIA!

      • CouponSaverSally

I couldn't fine Schick Hydro Shave Gel in a travel size.  Do you know if CVS actually carries it?  If not, are you sure it exists?

    • Hsnipes

the link for the 2.00/1 artificial nailes is printing out saying “1.00/1″…I tried twice and still came out with the 1.00 off coupon.

      • That happened to me last week. I was disappointed.

    • Nikki0086

I just went to CVS and scanned my ExtraCare card and the kiosk center and it printed out 4 coupons. They were $3 off a purchase of $15 or more ( I used this with last weeks Huggies special $18.99 for a box of 96 size 3 diapers $3.00 huggies manufacturer coupon+ $3.00 CVS store coupon=$12.99!!), $2 off 2 shampoo, conditioner or styling products (excludes salon), $5 off any $20 Revlon or Maybelline Cosmetic purchase, and $5 off Facial Skin Care Purchase of $20 or more. I hope this helps someone. Everyone have a Blessed day :)

      • Mcleodsc

You can get VO-5 shampoo and conditioner free with the shampoo coupon! Plus it counts toward the Beauty Club ECB.

      • Marlamae

Sounds like some good coupons! Do u know what the expiration date is for the $3 off $15 is?

    • Kristen S.

Does anyone know if I can use a coupon for a free product (hair dye) + a CVS coupon for $4 off same?  That would give me a $4 profit if I'm allowed to do that, but I wasn't sure.  Thanks for any help…

      • You can use the CVS coupon but why would you use it on a free product? I think it's a waste.

        • Because it gives you overage! That's free money!

      • I used a $4 CVS coupon along with a free product coupon a while back. It created $4 overage!

      • Yes, they will allow you, but remember CVS won't give you an overage (like walmart do, they give you cash back). So if you want to grab others item thats worth $4 that maybe a good idea.

    • Nikki0086

The expiration date for the $3 off $15 is 08/05/2011.

      • Marlamae

        • Nikki0086

          Your so very welcome :)

    • Jackie

If anyone was interested there is a $2.00 off coupon on the Fiber Choice website, looking forward to that deal more than the shaving one – it's the only fiber supplement that doesn't upset my stomach and I hardly ever notice it being on sale. :)

      • i found them often on sale at walgreen (and yeah, not a good sale still). the only thing you can do to cover up this FIber choice expenses is to structure your transaction. Get items that on sale or for free, find the coupon for that item, and when you get reward back from this free item, you can use those rewards to pay for your Fiber Choice.

    • Tori_rn

So for the Schick razor deal… I found a CVS coupon for $2.00 off any disposable razor… so that makes the deal even better b/c it can be used w/ the manufacturers coupons as well…. it can be found in the coupon database…

      • Olemissmoss

Is it truly a CVS coupon. Most of the coupons listed on the CVS website are actually manufacturers coupons that come from coupons.com. If it does not show a red CVS logo on the coupon when you look in the database, then it is NOT a true CVS store coupon. Just dont want you to get your hopes up.

      • Dpur

        how do i get that?

    • Hollymh83

My CVS in Summerville, SC doesn't have the Brita filters on sale. I'm just getting started with Qing is this typical that not all the items listed are on sale at our store.

      • Paige

        This ad starts Sunday.

    • Rac531

I know the sale starts on Sunday but I have seen comments in the past where people have gone in on Saturday night and gotten the sale for the new ad?  Is this true for all stores or just certain ones?

      • HS

You can shop Saturday night at CVS stores that are not open 24 hours

        • Rac531

Ours is not open 24 hour……..is there a certain time that it switches to the new sale?

          • My nearest CVS starts the Sunday sale around 6pm Saturday nights

      • Meg's mom

My CVS store in IN is not a24 hr store, & just recently stopped allowing you to shop on Sat. for next weeks sale. Better check w your store.

      • If your store is not open  24 hours, then It should work, the only way to find out is buying those item, if you ask the cashier, they will probably answer not today but tomorrow. Plus, you want to make sure you get the correct items, since CVS has not change the sale label yet for the new ads

    • Juneandarb

A few of our stores in the Greenville, SC area have stopped allowing us to do Sunday deals on Saturday night.    The one on Laurens Rd. still allows it,though.

      • Walker

When I asked why they said “too many issues with coupons”!

      • Lonestar9

Which stores stopped? I'm in Greer but shop at some of the Greenville stores at times.

    • ddshockley

I am really excited about his weeks ad coming up, but I know by the time I make to my CVS EVERYTHING will be gone especially the Lumene.  I am 6 more Lumene coupons and can't get seen to find any of the products to purchase without spending a lot OOP.  I hope my stores around me with make sure people stick to there limits.  I was behind a lady this week that used 3 different CVS cards.  It makes me soooooo mad.  Not so mention I have $25 ECB to spend and it makes it all so aggravating

      • Beth

I purchased a number of the Lumene Qs online.  Sometimes I have used them with no problem on the smaller facecreams.  The last two times, I've been told by two different clerks that the small size jars are trail size and CVS will not get reimbursed for those coupons. What has been your experience?  I don't want to steal from CVS.  Wish I knew what was true on this one.

        • Shannon

When I purchased them last week there were two kinds of face creams at $4.19. One had a label that indicated it was trial size and the other didn't. I ended up just getting the ones that didn't have the label in the hopes that CVS will get reimbursed. I would check the labels under the products and go from there.

    • Brooke

So I have a question about the razor deal. If i buy 2 razors and 2 shaving cremes for the deal, then use the b1g1 coupon for the razors and the 1.00/1 coupon, I know I can stack with a CVS coupon I have (2.00 off any disposable razor) but am I allowed to use 2 of these? I know you can't use two of the 1.00/1 manufacture's coupon because one item is free but since the 2.00/1 is a CVS coupon can I use 2? THANKS, I just don't want to do it wrong and rip anyone off because I know my CVS will probabaly override it if the computer won't take it and i'd feel bad if this wasn't allowed.

      • Suzanne

often they will only take 1 cvs q per transaction

    • Redbull2689

For the strangest reason whenever I go to CVS I get the same coupons. It's almost always for a Dove Bar or Licorice. Anybody know how to not get the same coupons over and over? Different stores, different days of the week, different purchases, yet I still get those same 2 coupons everytime. Any ideas?

      • Are you shopping at the same times? I've had the best luck early in the morning. Maybe they reset the coupons overnight? Works for me. :) I noticed that if I shop in the afternoon (haven't tried night yet) I will get those same two coupons too! lol

      • I got the same coupons like yours, the only way to stop them , i think if you buy those items… It's been 3 months printed for me

    • Lorri

I think this is the best CVS ad I've seen yet. I don't even know where to begin.  Wish I could've gotten the softsoap coupon; I never get those and always have to pay full price.  In any case, lots of good stuff to be had this week.  Who doesn't love CVS?

      • Kristin S.

I've given up on getting free softsoap anymore, so I just put bodywash in my soap dispensers.  Always seem to get free bodywash.  =)

    • paravel43

If anyone got the Crest sample recently (I got it yesterday) it has a $1 coupon off floss, which makes it free!!!

    • Maddin

For the Schick Deal #2 why is the example showing to use 4 of each coupon. Can I not use 8 of the $1.50 off Skintimate shave cream?? does CVS has any limits on online coupons?? I do have enough computers to print them all

      • Coupongal18

You can only use four “like” coupons at once…..

    • AnotherRebecca

lotrimin prints at the bottom fyi!

    • confused

if the sunday sale starts on saturday at some locations, how does the register decide what price to charge? for example, the schick extreme 3 razors are on sale this week buy one get one 50% off, but starting tomorrow, they aren't. they will be part of the 10 ecb when spending 20 offer. so how will they ring up today?

      • Annaforcoupons

Usually if the same item is part of a sale for 2 weeks – the register will pick up the current weeks pricing and you have to wait till Sun. for the 10 ecb deal

        • confused

          thank you!

    • candy

      will this schick deal work?

buy 2 razors and 2 shave creams
      Use 2 $3/1 manufacturer razor q
             2 $2/1 cvs razor q
             2 $1/1 shave cream

    • Nita

For anyone doing the gas card deal that is interested, there is a printable q for $2 off any Tinactin product (at tinactin.com). It’s also on sale B1G1@50% Hubby spends alot of time in workboots and uses up a can every 3 weeks so I plan on stocking up. 4 cans of Tinactin spray + 1 bag M&M’s or 1 tube of Colgate = free gas

    • couponing rocks!

I just got back from a wonderful Saturday evening shopping trip at CVS.  Basically, CVS paid me $8.00 for everything I bought.  I also found out that even though the Skintimate Cream is more than the regular Skintimate shaving cream it IS part of the 2.19 deal, so it is 50% off & then add the $1.50 coupon made for a great deal.  Here's what happened

      2 – Skintimate Cream @ 2.19 each = 4.38
      2 – Schick Disposable Razors B1g1 50% = 8.39 + 4.19 = 12.58
      6 Mars Candy Bars @ 1.19 B2G1 = 4.76
      1 Renu Sensitive Contact Solution = 7.89
      1 Bengay = 5.99
      Tax = 3.28
      Total before coupons & ECB's = $38.88

      (2) – 2.00 off Schick Disposable Razor CVS coupon (4.00)
B1G1 Free Schick Razor (13.99) I don't know why but the manager said it took off this
      (2) – .50/2 3 Musketeers (1.00)
      Bengay (5.00)
      Contact Solution (2.00)
      (2) – 1.50 off Schick Cream (3.00)
      ECB's (6.00)
      Total Due = $3.74

      Received $18.00 back in ECB's

      Total OOP:
      Cash Paid 3.74
      + ECB's Used 6.00
      – ECB's Received (18.00)
      = Total OOP (Total Made) = (8.26)

I realized after I started ringing up that I wouldn't hit the 20.00 in Schick because of the razors being B1G1 50% this week.  I was going back to buy something else & the manager said to look at my receipt to see how much I was short.  Well, something was wrong because it said I had only spent 4.38.  The manager just took my receipt and forced the 10.00 ECB since it was all messed up.  I love my manager & CVS!

      • Nchoping

I did this same schick deal just now and the same thing happened with the ECB not printing-said I'd only gotten $4.59 towards it. She also pushed it through anyway. Awesome deal!

They would not allow the $5 ECB for the neutrogena facial bars though…I'm not too happy about that as they are cleansers and it doesn't exclude them. oh well

        • Charliepud69

Same thing happened to me. I planned on cashing out so I went back and purchased some more items.  I purchase a couple more shave gels and the register printed another $10 ECB!  I told the cashier and she just laughed and said it must be your lucky day!

          • Kaela

Same thing happened to me in Ky- It was only showing the skintimate shave gel so the cashier manually printed mine as well.

        • couponing rocks!

The only thing i can figure is since the razors were B1G1Free this week, the register was attaching them to that deal & not the 20.00 deal???  I'm glad to here others had great experiences with employees giving you the ECB without any hassles.

          • couponing rocks!

I mean B1G1 50% off on the razors

      • Kaela

How did you use shick cream coupons if you didn't buy them? Is the shick shaving cream good towards the skintimate?

        • couponing rocks!

I'm sorry I called it the Schick Cream coupon but it was for the new Skintimate Cream that I bought.

        • couponing rocks!

and yes, the skintimate counts towards the 20.00 schick deal.

    • Crywalt

Is the Schick disposable $2.00 coupon from the Cvs website a MF or store coupon?

      • Lucinda

I'm wondering the same thing! :)

        • Kaela

It is a CVS Q and it worked just fine I just used it on my order with the bogo and manufacture's coupon too and the cashier told me it was fine b.c. the bogo gave me 1 pack for free then I used the $2 cvs q plus a $1 manufacture coupon.

      • walli

it is a cvs Q from the website

    • Coupongal18

Just got back from a Saturday night shopping trip at CVS! I had to spend a little more OOP than I expected to because of not having the coupons that come out tomorrow but, I still think I did ok – let me know what you think:

      Transaction 1:
      (1) PaperMate Pens
      (1) Kotex Pads – didn't have the $1.00 coupon that comes out tomorrow
      (1) B&L Solution
      (1) -$2.00/Renu Solution
      -$2 ECB (last week)
      -$3 ECB (last week)
      Total: $6.76
Got back: $1.99 ECB, $6 ECB, $2 ECB

      Transaction 2:
      (1) Bengay Cream
I was going to do the Neutrogena deal but nothing was under $8.00 plus I only had a $1.00 off coupon so it wasn't that great of a deal so I decided to not get it!!!
      (1) -$3.00/Bengay
      -$2.00 ECB (Trans 1)
      Total: $1.37
      Got back: $2 ECB

      Transaction 3:
      (2) Crest Pro Health Mouthwash
Heads up – the coupon from PG won't work because it requires a 440mL bottle and the ones on sale with the ECB attached are only 250 mL but I still go it anyway!!!
      -$6.00 ECB (Trans one)
Total: $0.00 – I LOVE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS :)
      Got back :$4 ECB

      Transaction 4:
      (6) Skintimate Shave Gels
      (1) Hydro 3 Razor
      (1) -$3.00/Schick Razor
      (3) -$1.50/Skintimate Shave Cream
      (3) -$1.00/Skintimate Shave Gel
      -$4 ECB (Trans 3)
      -$1.99 (trans 1)
      -$2.00 (Trans 2)
      Total: $2.80
Got back $10 ECB for next week!!!!!!

      Total OOP: $10.93
ECB for next week – $10
So, I paid 93 cents for EVERYTHING :)

      • Kaela

Good Job! There was a printable coupon for the Kotex too that I printed for my weekly Saturday trip.

      • Xtiffx1218

how do u get the sale items on saturday? I thought the deals didnt start until Sunday morning?

        • couponing rocks!

A lot of stores (non-24 hours) will actually reset the computer to start the sale Saturday evening (usually between 4 – 6 pm).  Next time you are in your CVS just ask the manager.  You can also test it if you don't get a good answer by going on Saturday night & scanning one of the new weeks sale items at the redbox.  If the sale has been activated, it will show the sale price / ECB deal.  I usually do this a lot (scan items at the redbox) since I shop on Saturday night & they don't have the sales tags up  or the out so i can make sure I am picking up the correct sale items.

          • Xtiffx1218

            wow…. thanks so much!

    • ab

Random: Can anyone tell me where I can find a cheap Sunday paper in the Charleston area? I have tried Walgreens and Dollar Tree to no avail. TiA.

      • Mel

There going to be $2.00 no matter where you go.

      • Jacketfan24

try walmart…in the greenville area they are .98 and everywhere else is 1.25 to 1.50

    • Casey

Just got back from CVS. heads up the Neutrogena face bars are NOT included in the deal. Cheapest items they had included at my store was 7.99. But what a great week! Cheapest Brita Filters ever!

      • HI Casey, I did get the $5 ECb for the Neutrogena Bar.. Did you ask why?

        • SouthMSmom

I purchased the bars and did NOT get the $5 ECB. I plan on going back and having them manually print it or get my money back. The ad doesn't say a specific price min.- only that you must purchase 2. No clue what's going on. All of my other ECB's printed fine.

    • Brooke

      Best week at CVS ever!!

      Heres what I did:
      (2) Schick Slimtwin 8.49 for one, 4.24 for one (the cashier told me I got last weeks sale to, so I had to buy 4 shaving cremes to get the deal, but it actually turned out better.. never had this happen before!)
      (4) Skintimate Shave Creme 2.19 each
      (4) Nabisco Cookies 1.25 each
      (1) Bengay Cooling Gel 5.99
      (1) Papermate Grip Pens 1.99
      (1) Crest Pro Health Toothpaste 2.99
      (1) Kotex U tampons 3.49
      (3) Softsoap Pampered Hands 2.00 each

      TOTAL (after tax): 50.59
      FIRST I handed over a 3/15 making it 47.59.
      Then 21 ECB'S making it 26.59
      Coupons Used:
B1G1 Schick (4.24 since one was half off)
      2.00/1 Schick (STORE coupon)
      1.00/1 Schick (man. coupon)
      (4) 1.50/1 Skintimate Shave Creme
      (2) 1/2 Nabisco Cookies
      (1) 5.00/1 Bengay
      1.00/1 Kotex U
      (3) 1.00/1 Softsoap

TOTAL: 2.35 OOP!! YAY FOR CVS!
      Oh and I got back ECB's (10-schick, 1-nabisco, 2-bengay, 1.99-papermate, 2- crest, 2-kotex, 3-softsoap=21.99 ECB'S!)

    • KristaGA

So the $1.50 off Skintimate Cream Shave coupons worked with the Shave gel at 2.19 or was the Cream Shave on sale for 2.19 as well? This is the only thing I have been unsure on while I am mapping out my shopping trip.

      • CouponSaverSally

Both the gel and the cream are $2.19! :)

        • KristaGA

That is awesome, I am so excited to go to CVS tomorrow!

    • aria

I used my BOGO raincheck for this weeks deal. bought 3 hydro at $7.99, used 3 $4.00 coupon which expires today, paid $3.98 and got back $10.00 ECB.  :)))

    • CouponSaverSally

Just got back from 2 different CVS's…1st store I had issues with the Schick deal (luckily my cashier manually gave me the $10) but now that I think about it, I believe it's because I did not buy the razors pictured.  I got the women's disposable Schick Quatro.  I still made out pretty well and was able to get the $10 gas card as well from buying my Aussie supplies, Scott's toilet paper, and some Snickers.

    • katy

A lot of people that posted went to CVS today, does the deal start earlier? I always go to CVS as soon as they open tomorrow, but I have noticed a lot of deals are already gone…Can u tell me something I dont know? Thanks :)

      • Emily

see the earlier post from couponing rocks! (2 hrs ago)

        • katy

          Wow thank you!

      • Glenda

The ad starts on Sunday.  And yes its unfortunate that alot of the items are already gone first thing Sunday morning.  I personally dont think CVS should allow or push through sales early that are supposed to start on Sunday.

      • Bclark20

Katy The sale starts eairly beacause they need toget the sale signs out for sundays add and if they have the sale signs out they have to activate the add  and push the sale early. its not ment to frustrate anyone, you can always get a raincheck you will recive the eb when you buy the item.

    • Carolayers7

So frustrated with CVS!  I went tonight to get the deals and the register didn't print out the ECB for Schick razors/ Skintimate shave gel.  The manager said I must not have spent enough money because of the coupons and so I purchase one more set of razors (without a coupon b/c I didn't have them with me!) and it still didn't print.  After much figuring, the manager finally force printed the ECB when I pointed out the deal included everything I purchased.  I bought my other items and the ECB printed for those, but I am still upset that I had to spend $10 extra because the manager wouldn't budge.  She told me that she will no longer put the ECB signs out on Saturday night because they just caused problems and that I should just shop on Sunday. (even though I got the last packs of razors!)  UGH!!

      • Toni

PLease report what the manager said to corporate.  The stores are not supposed to tell you to “shop on Sunday” instead of Saturday night.  I know from speaking to corporate about this. The ECBs didn’t print,  but that was due to a glitch in the system for this product,  NOT due to your shopping Saturday night.

    • Julianne

I did still do the deal, with the CORRECT coupon for $.55 off, still a great deal when these are normally $3.59 to $3.99 each.

      • couponing rocks!

Mine worked fine used on the shave cream…at my CVS it was also on sale for 2.19 along with the save gel.

        • Jjfdv

The $1.50 coupon worked for me also.

      • I was able to do it. My price was 2.49 though, I am used to higher prices show here I am in Michigan :)

      • Jenney

Mine worked. Sometimes cashier register has to cover half of the bar code to scan.

      • Glenda

Mine worked.  I bought two shave creams and used 2 of the $1.50 shave cream coupon.  I also got 2 packs of the disposable razors and used a B1G1 Q and a 1.00 MQ, as well as two of the CVS $2.00 Q's.  Great morning at CVS!

      • Brooke

The 1.50/1 coupon worked fine for me. The cream AND gel were both included in my sale for 2.19 each. Which made the cream an even better deal because it usually 4.49 each where as the gel is only 3.49!

      • Bamasaver

The $1.50 for shave CREAM is not supposed to work for the shave GEL–different product, different coupon.  My local store had both the creams & gels tagged as $2.19, but they didn’t have any of the creams so I got gels instead.

    • Tanya

Just got back form CVS, I too just had a bad experience with the $10 ECB printing out. The $10 would not print, the reason they gave me was that skintimate is not a schick or playtex product, the ad says playtex or schick. Well after much complaining that it is considered false advertisement because they put the skintimate shave cream within the same box, my husband just asked for the whole transaction to be refunded ECBs and coupons included. We paid $4.00 out of pocket originally, but they ended up giving us a $22.00 gift card. Which actually worked out better.

    • guest

my 10ecb didnt' print out but the cashier printed out manually for me. for some reason the razors didn't show up as part of the deal on the bottom of the receipt, I don't know what is going on this week at cvs but thankfully I had a great cashier and got a ton of stuff for hardly nothing!

      • Brooke

the same thing happened to me. But my cashier also manually did it after I showed her that it said ANY playtex or schick product and I clearly purchased 2 packs of schick razors.

    • Nidalohmud

I think the reason why 10eb dosn't print because in the adds say buy any playtex AND! schick products. Maybe its mean you have to buy both product to get the deal. Am I right?

      • Mimi

Yes, for this deal you have to purchase $20 worth of both products.

        • I purchased 2 disposable razors, 9.29 each, and the Cream shave 2.49 and the ECB printed.  My store was not yet signed the cashier said it was only the mens razors that qualified.

I was able to use the following coupons.

25% off non sale items, worked on BOTH razoros = 4.65 off
          B1G1 Disposable razor = 9.29 off
          $1.00 manuf Q razor
          $2.00 store Q razor
1.50 manuf Q for shave cream

          Total before Q: 21.07
          Coupon totaal: 18.44

I got the 10.00 ECB only spending out of pocket about 2.00 including tax.

          • Sheila

            The women's razors qualify too.

        • Jenney

I bought 2 schick hydro 5 $7.99 each and 2 skintimate cream shave $2.19 and $10 ecb printed without problem…

        • susan

I did the schick razors and the skintimate shaving cream. Printed no problem.

        • Jjfdv

I did not purchase the playtex and the deal worked for me. 2 schick hydro and 2 cream shaves.  Printed my $10 ECB.

      • Cathy

Hmm. I went this morning and did NOT purchase any Playtex and I still the $10 ECB's printed no problem. I found a CVS store coupon on their website for $2 off an Schick disposable razor that I was able to combine with the manufacture.

    • Robyn

I am having a hard time figuring out how to get the Brita replacement coupon. I registered but can't find the spot where I can print the coupon.  Can anyone tell me how they got one.

    • Cndcouponing

Does anyone know where the scenario breakdown for the Herbal Essence/Aussie products is? I saw it on here yesterday, but now it's nowwhere to be found!

      • Jennifer

Nevermind…I found it in my emails!

      • Kylee

Here's what I did as I only had 4 aussie coupons
        Purchased 4 shampoos/ conditioners
        Purchased 4 styling products
        purchased 2 pretzel m&m's
purchased 2 bags snickers fun size

        used 4 $3 off aussie/HE styling products wyb shampoo/cond
        used 4 $1 any aussie/HE product
        used 2 $1 pretzel m&m's
        used 1 $1/2 snickers

total before q's 30.88 before tax
        total after q's 11.88
        received $10 gas card  :D
        hope this helps :)

        • Jennifer

I wish I would have saw this before my cvs trip! I only had 2 of each of the aussie coupons, so I didn’t even try to meet the $30. But I think I did pretty good.. here is what I did…

          Purchased 3 Aussie Shampoo/Conditioners
          Purchased 1 Herbal Essence Gel
          Purchased 2 Skintimate Cream Shaves
Purchased 2 Packs of Schick diposable razors

Used 2 $3 off Aussie wyb product
          Used 2 $2 off Aussie/Hebal Essence
          Used 1 B1G1 Schick razors
Used 1 $1 off Schick product
Used 2 $1 off Skintimate Shave Cream

          OOP was $16.57
          Received $10 in ECB’s
Total Cost $6.57- Not too shabby, I think. :-)

PS- I was starting to get really discouraged with CVS couponing. Everytime I would go in, it would be too late and the shelves would be cleared. But this past Sunday I made it a point to be there right when they opened. And I was able to get everything on my list! It was a rebooster, that I needed!

    • Jenney

Just done shopping. The nuetrogena facial bar doesn't participate the $5 ECB and I had to return them. The coupon machine printed $5 off 25 coupon again which means it'll print that for me for the week and not like the ones from email, these are good for 3 weeks usually.

    • Cooky

I just had the most painful experience in my CVS shopping today at the Mableton Pkway branch in Mableton, GA  The asociate named Kienya does not even want to swipe my coupon for ” crest pro health for me” as I took a crest that is only pro health.  she said it has to be verbatim.  i politely said that just scan the coupon and see if the machine will take it, she said it is coupon fraud. ans she did that for my neutrogena facial wash.  she sais it has to be “verbatim” and cannot use the neutrogena naturals coupon.  I just voided my whole transaction as I felt so bad!

      • Troop949

She was right, actually.  You have to purchase the exact type/variety/size stated on the coupons.

      • MJ

I agree with Troop949, she was right you do have to purchase exactly what the coupon states…. however, I have been to the same store and had the same associate and have had many a painful experience when using any printable coupon, B1G1 coupon, or anything higher in value that makes the item “free”.

        • Cooky

But I was not re-inventing stuff, I followed what was said on this website.  oh well…..i will not let this spoil my coupon high!  lol

          • Tina Sue

You are right! Why is the coupon even listed here if it is not for the product on sale?

            • Jjfdv

Jenny lists all the coupons available for products.  Some sales will vary by region.  It is our job to gather the coupons and match them to the correct product on sale.

    • Ashley

Just wondering… I did the schick deal and my total was actually 19.97 and the 10 eb printed anyways…on my reciept it says amount needed to earn reward .03…. i wonder if another one will print if i buy a cheap shaving cream or something? any thoughts?

      • Guest

That's odd because my CVS prints ECB with .05 off. You can always by some cheacp item and if that doesn't work just return it.

        • Ashley

well mine did print.. I got the 10 extra bucks but on my reciept it still says i can earn 3 cents toward the reward instead of saying my limit was reached so i was curious if i spent the 3 cents..if another would print.. im gonna test it out lol

          • Walker

No it will not print another ECB.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

No, it will not print from my experience. Dont go on that trap.

      • Alexia_murdock

nope, i have tried this it’s going easy on you for only being a few cents off. now you have to spend $20.03 to get the EB again

    • Tmfloves

COUPON TRADE OFF!!! I have 3 coupons for $1 off any U Kotex Product, 3 coupons for $2 off a 12oz bottle of renu fresh or sensitive, 6 cvs coupons for $2 off any schick disposable (excludes 2 ct), 6 coupons for $3 off one schick xtreme 3 disposable razor pack, and 6 coupons for $3 off any one schick hydro 3 0r 5 razor, 1 coupon for $1.50 off skintimate cream shave, and 4 coupons for $1 off skintimate cream shave.

All I am looking for is 4 coupons for $4 off any Lumene product for the SS 6/19 insert. I would need them mailed out as soon as possible and I can drop any of the coupons I have in the mail first thing tomorrow morning. Thank You

      • Tmfloves

I also need 4 coupons for $1 off crest pro health for me from the PG 6/5 insert

    • Bekahbekah7

My cvs will accept expired MFQ's but does anyone know if they will accept expired red machine coupons??

    • Jacketfan24

Just did the gas deal for the first time today, but the only gas cards they had were for Exxon or Shell.  I am in the Greenville area and do not know where either one of those stations are located here.  Does anyone else know?  I don't really want to waste a tank of gas driving clear across town to get to a gas station just to replace the gas I used to get there!  Or if there is a CVS that has different cards?  She said some had other gas cards than those two, so I didn't get the card yet.  Thanks for any help!

      • Shirley

My mother-in-law said she got one for BP. It was at the CVS in Duncan. You could also call CVSs closer to you and see what they have. HTH!

      • Deecheers4rv

There is a Shell in Easley and they also do fuelperks from bilo if you have any from there

      • Appleshell

You can go to MapQuest and type in “Shell Station, Greenville SC” (or Exxon) and it will show you the locations.

      • Mcgraw811

you can look online to see but I do believe there is a shell station on stone ave in greenville and I think there is one in simpsonville.  Not aware of any exxons

    • Zebbie

Went out to 3 different CVS first thing this morning.  All of them were wiped out of the cream shave. :(  Guess everyone got to it last night.  Wish I could go Sat night, but I have to work.  Boo CVS for starting sale early.

      • Margoren

Same at mine. I only have one CVS close to me :(  But they had plenty of the gel and even though the coupons were only $.55, it was still a good deal, especially after using the $5.00 off $25.

      • Brooke

I went last night around 8 and the first CVS I went to was already wiped clear. The problem is they only had like 8 of them to begin with. The second one I went to I got the last 2 from the shelf. I wish they'd stay better stocked!!

      • Rainchecks!!!

    • Margoren

Does anyone know if the CVS coupons $ off $ ($5 off $25) are supposed to be used before or after coupons? I know they will go through if given before coupons but today the manager was telling a customer that it was after coupons. I read my coupon while checking out and it did not say anything either way.
What is the right way to use this coupon?

      • Beth

you can use it either way….but it is really best to hand it to the cashier first.  that way you are sure you have a total high enough to take the Q.  Then give her the rest of your Qs.  My CVS clerk will sometimes ask me if I have a $ off Q so she can ring it first.  sounds like you just got a clerk that is not coupon friendly.

        • Margoren

Yes, I know that is the way to do it and I always do it that way. But since the manager said that it could NOT be scanned BEFORE coupons, I was wondering what is the “legal” way to use this coupon. I do not what to be doing something wrong….

          • Autumn

I've never had an employee tell me they couldn't scan the $5/20 first….sounds like you had a grouchy manager….?  I've done it TONS of times like that!  Sorry!

          • Mysterious_Mentalist

no need to cringe because manager said so. I have taught managers how things work. Store $ off coupons can be used before other coupon use as long as subtotal is right for the coupon.  Manuf Qs work as mode pf payment as if you were paying with credit or check.

      • Mandyward67

you have to make sure that you give that to them first, then hand your coupons and it will work just fine.

      • Margoren

Well I just hope that the manager doesn't tell the cashiers they can't scan them before coupons any longer… I don't have another CVS close by… (that I know of)
        Thanks everyone….

    • Mooseimus

Anyone know if the playtex bottle liners will work with the playtex deal? Ad says any playtex product?

    • Vk21

the facebook schick coupon is already gone

      • Mama23babygirls

I just tried it too! UGH

    • Crywalt

Just came back from Cvs, got some good deals today.  I had a rain check for
a pulsar tooth brush.  The cashier at the end did not give me the extra bucks.  I told her
and then she printed them out. I noticed the extra care bucks number on the bottom does not match my card number, will that be a problem?

      • sc couponer

It prints 4 of the last 5 numbers on your card when they force ECBs, so the last number does not print. Looks strange, but works fine.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Yeah, for some reasons, when ecbs are generated manually, they always missed the very last digit. This makes the end card number look different. If anything happens, point out that 4 digits correspon to your card.

    • Mary_washburn

Where do you find Sweetbay Booklet?

      • Jen

at Sweetbay (grocery in Tampa FL area)

    • JennOnTheGo

No flags were on the sale/ECB items at my CVS this morning – felt like a treasure hunt – thank goodness for the red box price checker!

      • Jjfdv

No tags at my store either!

    • Godot

On the Neutragena deal, the lowest priced facial cleaner at my store is a Bar Soap for $3.19.  Can anyone confirm these bar soap worked for them with the coupons and towards the ECBs?   The bar soap does say “facial” on the box, but I did not try it this time as my cart was already brimming over by then.

      • Godot

OK, I read a comment below about this, sorry for clogging up the comments.  (ps — bar soap apparently does NOT count).  Thanks ;-)

        • Juneandarb

it didn't work for me either but after I showed her the ad she over rode it and gave me the ECB”S on  it.   Laurens Rd. CVS is the BEST!!

      • VP22

This may or may not help you. I did buy two of those face soaps and when I looked at my receipt I realized that an ECB did not print, however, I told the manager, showed him the ad and he manually pushed it through.

        • Juneandarb

Same thing happened to me at the Greenville SC store

      • guest

no, it did  not  work  with  soap. HTH

      • Olivia

It worked for me! It automatically printed.

    • Dtcox

just got back from cvs in v a shelfs about empty but got all i wanted thank you jenny got 119.73 for17.46 got back in x b 22.00 next got 49.33 for 6.08  stocked up for a while

    • Mama23babygirls

So you dont need to buy all the items for the schick/playtex deal in one transaction do you?

      • Jjfdv

No, just during the same week.

    • Chasoe

I am getting super frustrated with the CVS in Morehead City and in Beaufort NC. I can never get any of the ECB deals I need because the shelves are bare and I get there a little after they open. I made out like a champ at Walgreens though,so I think I will hand CVS up and become a Register Rewards diva! (plus I can use them as Harris Teeter!

      • Rclay18

Have you tried getting rainchecks? I always get rain checks at CVS. They never expire and they give you the ECBs with them when you buy the product. Walreens, however, will not give you register rewards with their rainchecks.

        • Mandyward67

yes…my store hardly ever has stuff in stock..but I get the rain check that never expires and get it later…i can wait as long as i need until another coupon comes out too!

      • Chasoe

I never realized they gave rainchecks. I will have to check it out!  Thanks

        • Prsol

and their Rain Check never expire! ;-)

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Go later in the week. The frst day or two more people jump the bandwagon to clear the sales items; By midweek, the euphoria is over and you are left to find a deal for your self

        • Prsol

Also, find out when the next truck is arriving with more merchandise. It may be possible, like Mysterious_Mentalist said, that you may have better chances toward the end of the week.

      • Dawn

Live in New Bern and our paper had very little coupons. Only one that I can use for this weeks ad! What paper do you buy and did you have the ones for the Skintimate, Softsoap, Loreal? Thanks!

    • Traci

My CVS store (in north Georgia) gave me serious grief today when I asked for a raincheck.  The clerk (who has checked me out before) said that their management wanted the employees to “push” another product on the customer instead of issuing rainchecks because they were a hassle.  I asked her when this had changed and she said they had never wanted to give rainchecks and customers needed to learn to be happy with a similar products.  When I pointed out that my coupons wouldn't work on a similar products she said that wasn't CVS's problem.  ???  Anyone else hearing this from their store?

      • Brian

I heard this also, they said Corporate was cracking down on rainchecks because people were abusing them by clearing the shelves on Sat. then getting rainchecks daily. The stores were told to offer the CVS brand instead of rainchecks.

        • Peggy

If the rainchecks include ECB's, there is usually a limit of 1 or 2, so even if people got a raincheck daily, they could only get the specified limited number of ECB's.  For instance, the Bengay is not on sale this week but it has a limit of 1 $2 ECB.  So if someone got a raincheck daily, they could only get one of the $2 ECB's.  Therefore, only 1 raincheck would be of any value.

          • Brian

They use the raincheck AFTER the sale ends so the cashier prints the ECB plus they are using multiple cards.

      • That is a definite issue to contact their corporate office about!!!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

The word was probably to offer alternatives/brands for customers so that they may get what they might need right away. Employees tend to exaggerate and pull the knot too tight and take out on people if they know they have some kind of backup for their behavior.  It does not mean that they can refuse it altogeter if you insisted.  Once, a female employee, in a store made her policy one could not use b1g1 on store b1g1 sales and that the limit of coupon was “one per purchase” (by purchase she meant the whole transaction). All I needed to contact corporate to correct their misunderstanding.  Some employees tend to have personal vandetta that they take out on people using coupons.

      • Appleshell

Wow. That was SUPER rude! The folks at the two CVS stores I frequent have never acted like that! I'm usually the one who is apologetic that I even have to ASK for a raincheck, even though it's their JOB to give them to me. They tell me, “Oh, don't worry about it. It's no trouble!”. I mean, seriously, it's not like they're having to write a journal. It's the product information with the sale price. Whoop dee doo. I guess if someone is in there asking for 10 rainchecks at one time, I could understand. But how hard is it to write out a couple of rainchecks? Then again, I rarely ask for rainchecks, so that might be why they're so nice about it. I've even had them ask ME if I wanted a raincheck a couple times. You need to report that behavior. I wouldn't stand for any kind of attitude when I'm spending my hard earned money there.

      • Prsol

I would report the incident to headquarters and let the store know [I'm kinda fantasizing about calling HQ in front of the cashier and manager… LOL].

They may or may not like issuing Rain Checks, but it's not up to each individual Manager to change the company's policy! Really rude!

        • Alexia_murdock

the actual policy is to offer a like product BEFORE issuing a rain check but issue a rain check if that’s what the customer would rather have. yeah, something was really wrong there. maybe the clerk misunderstood?

      • Alexia_murdock

Wow. Sorry to hear about that one. While CVS should offer a like product before giving a raincheck, they should not give you any problems if you would rather have a rain check. Call 1800SHOPCVS and report that because that isn’t right.

    • Tmfloves

Are you able to buy 2 Aussie/Herbal Essence stylers and use both the $3 and $1 coupon?

    • Jbowman3

      Palmolive, 10 oz, 99¢ LIMIT 5
.25/1 in todays SS makes it .75 ea

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Dawn is much much better and sometimes comes down to 50 cents or less with coupons.

      • Jjfdv

I paid zero for Dawn at cvs last time it was on sale.  It costs $1.  I had $1 coupons.  The grocery store also had it on sale for $1 and I had .50 coupons that doubled. .75 seems like alot.  LOL

    • Heathbcs

Jenny:  at least in my region…the creat pro health mouthwash 8.4oz is NOT on sale for 2.99.  That price is for the 4.5oz.  Just thought I would let you know in case you need to double check that one. :)

      • Cathy

My store had the 16.9 oz marked for $2.99 with the $2.00 ECB. I didn't realize I had the wrong size, just went by the tag on the shelf. They pulled the tag but gave me the deal on the larger bottle. ;)

    • Shelly

Had an awesome trip to CVS today.  I used the $3.00 off Aussie/Herbal coupon.  Got 12 bottles of shampoo, conditioner and styling products which were about $91.00 in retail value.  Paid ZERO out of pocket and used about $4.00 in ECB which qualified me for a $10.00 gas card!!  LOVE IT!!!

    • Ylevans1982

I had a good trip at CVS today.
Transaction #1:: Kotex U Pantyliners $3.49-$1 mfg cpn-$2 ecb total paid .53 and got back 2ecb
Transaction #2: 2 electrosol power tabs, 1 crest prohealth for me toothpaste, 4 packs of ivory soap. Had coupons for all of these items and $5 ecb…out of pocket price…$3!!!!

Also been matching the Covergirl $2.50/2 coupon and Publix $1.50/1 coupon to get eyeshadows for .15!!

      • Lauren

Very nice! I can't find the toothpaste that says 'Crest Prohealth For Me'. Did you just buy one that said 'Crest Prohealth'? The coupon I have says 'For Me' on it. Thanks for your help!

        • Nshdwashington

Hi! The crest pro-health for me is in the kids toothpaste section…it's the kids version of the pro-health.

          • Lauren

            Thank you!

            • Dudezy82

I bought the pro health for me and was not part of the ECB deal. I wound up having to return them, they were 2.69 a piece.

            • Lauren

I just noticed that. I think I'm going to use the .75 cents off the regular Pro Health. Thanks for the help!

            • Janell

I bought 2 of the Crest Pro-Health For Me today at Walgreens. They were part of the sale 2/ $4.98 get back $3 RR so its like getting 2/ $1.98. Use (2) $1 off Pro- Health For Me from the P&G and they are free. Just something to consider :)

            • Gatorginger

I got three of the pro health for me  yesterday and they were part of the deal I got a $3 ecb and a $2 ecb back after purchasing them

            • Gatorginger

The deal is at walgreens not CVS

        • Ylevans1982

No, we buy the Pro health for me for my daughter. I found it in the clearance bin for 1.56 and I used my 1.00 off cpn :)

      • Prsol

How are you using the Publix coupon? Do they let you take it at CVS? or Does your local Publix considers CVS a competitor? I'm kinda confused… :S

        • Ylevans1982

No, I'm sorry…I meant to post that publix savings under the publix link! Sorry for the confusion :)

    • Margoren

Well I just hope that the manager doesn't tell the cashiers they can't scan them before coupons any longer… I don't have another CVS close by… (that I know of)
      Thanks everyone….

    • Juneandarb

Same thing happened to me at the Greenville SC store

    • RobinS.

Just left my local CVS.  If we had another within 20 miles I would definitely shop elsewhere.  Second week in a row that NONE of the shelf tags indicating the items on the Gas Card promotion were out.  Did score a nice $2.00 off 2 hair care products (no specified brands).  Got my two Aussie hairsprays, and got the ECB!  So I considered this a plus.  But when I got to the register, they were OUT of Gas cards…..so I will have to make another trip to CVS this week for the gas card.  UGH!!!

      • Angelascoupons1

My stores are always still putting out tags when I get there on Sunday – same with Wags.  I think this is the norm…so don't be too hard on them.  As long as you have the ad with you, they cannot dispute the sale.  As well, it can work in your favor…if the sale items aren't tagged, then the general public (who hasn't read their paper or seen this site) doesn't know about the great deals.  It should leave more product on the shelf for everyone else!

      • Alexia_murdock

alot of stores had to stop putting out the next weeks sales tags early and start only on sunday because many customers were upset the tags for the sale still running were pulled down and they couldn’t tell what was still on sale (last minute shoppers). :(

    • Lynn

The CVS stores in my area need to step up. Me and a friend went to 2 stores this morning at 1am to find the free after ECB sales. We were hoping we could get them before the shelves were cleared. They only had four mouthwash, 8 pens, ect… So I don't think we are clearing the shelves, I think they are not putting out enough stock. So make sure to get your rainchecks…

      • Prsol

My local CVS always seems to be out of stuff too, however, sometimes the manager surprises me by bringing more merchandise from their storage. I guess it;s his way of controlling the number of items per card (I'm talking about those annoying people that use more than 1 card and wipe off all the shelves) …

Anyways, as much as I like getting Rain Checks it's a shame when I can't use them on time, before coupons expire. Stores should stock up and prepare better for their sale ads!

        • Krissyhampton

We have a new CVS and I was talking to the manager and he said they have to order inventory for the sales 10 weeks in advance. So they were learning how to order but it's difficult because of the people who come in and clear the shelves.

        • Guest

Many stores will still honor the expired coupons if you have the raincheck.  Just not too far expired…

      • Alexia_murdock

maybe your store doesn’t get their truck in til wednesday or something like that. always ask when their truck day is. hopefully that will help some. my store gets theirs on monday. it used to be thursdays. ew.

    • Cheryl Smith

Could you use the b1g1 Schick disposable coupon AND $3/2 together?

      • NitaRoyal

No, since each of them would require the purchase of 2, you'd have to buy 4 to use both coupons.

      • dccouponer

you can use bogo and $ off 1 if you have another Q …the packs i bought today had $1Q's on them

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

You can not. Please don't do this. It will cause more problems and unpleasant shopping experience for everyone. They are already offering a great deal and I would'nt go too far stretching every penny.  In the same insert, there is $1/1 Q that you can use with bogo Q. I think that should do a miracle.

    • Lauren

I just noticed that. I think I'm going to use the .75 cents off the regular Pro Health. Thanks for the help!

    • Stephanie

Today was my first time with Cvs and I think I did pretty good.
I ended spending OOP  $26.66 after coupons and ECB's I got
      3 boxes of cereal
      2 colgate max
      4 dish soap
      2 2pk pilot pens
      2 shaving creams
      1 hydro razor
      1 shick intuition
      1 renu sensitive.
Do you think that's pretty good for a first timer?  I think I am hooked.

      • Nancy

What did u get back in ecb's?

        • Stephanie

          I had got $16 in ECB's

          • Jjfdv

Good start.  Now next week try to “roll” your ECB.  Only use them to buy items that will produce more ECB.  Try not to spend more than tax OOP. Do that every week and your stockpile will grow.  Have fun CVSing!

    • Monique

Thank you sooo much Jenny.  I'm still new at this but I had a good shopping week spending just $4.14 before tax for $48.00 worth of product.  Picked up all the goodies; schick razors, skintimate, crest pro health, kotex u, pens and renu.  I know I'm hooked.

    • Enggrenj

It had a rain check from a couple of weeks ago 5 ecb wyb 15 dove body wash
      I bought:
1 dove visible care body wash $6  used a $2Q
2 dove men $5 each TRIED to used B1G1 Q and 3.75 off men body wash wyb dove visible care body wash
I was told at my CVS that when using a B1G1 Q you can't use another $Q on the second item since they where both used in the B1G1 Q.
That he had just spoke with Corporate about it recently
I had to get a third men body wash to use the 3.75Q. Is this true about the B1G1 Q's because I see one of the Deals above using a B1G1 and $Q?

      • You can use a BIGI and $Q, BUT they have to scan the $Q first THEN the b1G1. I do this all the time with no issues.

        • Guest

That does not work all the time.  I now do the B1G1 coupons first since they wind up being better value due to the system not allowing the B1G1 Q after scanning the $Q.  I work at a CVS and see this all the time with people trying to use both Qs.  I know it works sometimes, but at my store, I see it rarely take both Qs.

      • Alexia_murdock

Actually, the cashier isn't supposed to take the the $Q with the B1G1Q. our store was having the same issue. so many stores were doing it differently so we ended up asking corporate about it too. But if you go to a store that does take them, the cashier most likely isn't paying attention and can get in trouble. i've had crest strip coupons work on tissue. It's the cashier job to read the coupons before scanning them because sometimes the register just registers how much the coupon is worth and not what it is for and the same goes with what order you use them.

    • Deecheers4rv

The 3 stores in my area had stocked alot for this sale. I was able to get the pens, bengay, handsoap, kotex with nothing OOP. I also got 12 HE shampoos and conditioners(spread out between stores) for free and the 10 dollar gas card! Pretty awesome day!!!

    • tucksmommy

Did my shopping today. Total OOP $20 for $130 worth of stuff. 86% savings on my birthday!!! :)

      • Lzbacnik

Happy Birthday and you had a good day.

    • Jennifer

Does CVS usually get in more stock?  They were out of EVERYTHING when  I went to day.  It was so sad and not worth my time.  I got a rain check on the skintimate but I honestly don't think it will work because I didn't get one for every single product in the deal.

      • guest

Don't be sad, just  go back  and  get the  rain check for the whole  deal, not  just shaving cream.  Ask them to list  the items you intend  to buy and  the  amount  of ECB  you  are  to get.  Just make  sure   to  keep their  flyer for that  week  with  the  pictured  deal! You can  always  go  back couple  of  weeks  later  and  get  your  deal with  no  problem  after  the  rush  is over.  I  learnt  to  do  that  if  i  can't  make  to the  store  right  at  8 am  on Sunday!  Good luck!

      • Alexia_murdock

Some of the stores have bad truck days that come later in the week. the store you ususally visit, find out their truck day. Sorry about that. Oh, and something I've noticed at our store when we are usually out of stock on sale items (and no one please take this the wrong way), but the customers who do the couponing and have a store that starts the new sale early (saturday) will actually come in saturday and buy all the sale items so the next day when people know the new sale has started (sunday) and come in we are out and it's so crazy because we really try to order as many sale items as possible. We were actually talking about that at our store today because it happens all the time. we've had to stop starting our sales early to be fair to everyone. ya'll are working against each other it sounds like. ironic huh? but you can get a raincheck for the majority of items in the deal. the raincheck does not always have to list every single product. just keep the flyer as the person before me stated. :)

    • dawn

My girlfriend and i went shopping today – together we bought
      2 re-nu contact solution
      2 kotex
      4 skintimate
      4 schick xtreme 3
      6 softsoap
      2 bengay
      2 papermate
2 brita water filter – this alone made it well worth the trip
      11 notebooks
and a pack of cough drops
Regular CVS value $185.46 our combined totals before tax after coupons and ECBs collected today $3.76 a savings of 98% …we paid about $11 total OOP
Great trip! Maybe the best yet

    • Br Coupons

For a newbie, I've caught on pretty quick (I think).  Hubby now sees the savings and he's talking about extended our pantry & putting up additional shelves for our stock.  Here's my trip to CVS tonight: **I had a $5.00 off $25.00 ECB from a previous trip and .50 cent ECB**And I scanned my ECB card at the red kiosk and got another $5.00 off $25.00 ECB**So….here we go shopping!

      1st transaction:
      (2) Skintimate Shave Gels @ $2.19 each = $4.38
      (2) Schick Disposable Razors @ $9.29 each = $18.58
      (1) Mentos Gum for $4.39
      TOTAL $27.35 before taxes
      I used my (1) $5.00 off $25.00 ECB first and a .50 cent ECB / (1) Schick BIGIF cpn,
      (1) $1.50 off Schick disposable razor cpn, (2) $1.50 off Skintmate cpns for a total of
-$19.79 off, leaving my OOP including sales taxes $8.88  (about a 69% savings) AND I GOT $10.00 ECB  from this purchase!

      2nd transaction:
      (2) Veet at $6.99 each = $13.98
      (4) 3pk Ivory soap .99 cents each = $3.96
      (1) KY Intrigue $19.99
      TOTAL OF $37.93 before taxes… I used:
      (1) $5.00 off $25.00
      (1) $10.00 EBC from 1st transaction
      (2) $2.00 Veet cpns (-$4.00)
      (4) .50 cent cpn Ivory soap (-$2.00)
      (1) $5.00 KY internet cpn
TOTAL of ECB/Cpns: $26.00 leaving my OOP including taxes $13.91 (about 63% savings)

    • Angelascoupons1

I had a great shopping day at CVS…but my store struggled to find the razors that were in the gillette deal.  They had the Hydros but not the Xtreme 3 (which was the coupon series I was planning to use).  The assistant at my store was so nice that she let me use it on the women's razors (which I need more of at the moment), so my deal worked out.  I also had $5 in ECB that I printed online (didn't know you could do this until recently), plus used manuf. qs, CVS printable qs and some $1.99 in ECB.  For about $11 OOP I got:

      2 packs of razors
      2 Skintimates
      1 pack of pens
      7 Sobe waters
      4 Newtwon Fruit Thins
      3 boxes of Kleenex

      • Br Coupons

OMG, you can print internet ECB??  I'm going to search the CVS website, but would you please post where/how to print internet ECB?  :-)  TY

        • woooooo

I'm pretty sure your only supposed to print them if you lose them

        • Sofia

The only ones u can print online are the ones earned for other spending. Not your regular ECBs. For example the $5 earned for spending $50 in beauty products. the ones earned as per the ad you will get only in the store, some u will get only online, they are not the same ones.

          • Jjfdv

Actually you can print any of your ECB.  If you look at your summary page, they are all there. The ECB are tied to your card so it does't matter if you print them online or get them in the store.  Once they are used you can't reuse them.

    • Shelli Richard

What do you do when your trip didn't go as planned?  I bought:
      3 Skintimate cream shaves $2.19
      1 Hydro 5 Razor $7.99
2 Schick Shave Gel $3.99 full price
So that's $22.54 in Schick and Playtex products.

      After coupons, ECB's and a 25% coupons, I paid a nickel!!

HOWEVER, the register indicated I only $14.56 in qualifying products, so it didn't print out the $10 ECB.  It didn't count the two Schick Shave Gels toward the deal.  Why not?
The cashier wasn't very helpful either.  He told me it was because the Skintimate shaving creams don't count toward the $20.  We walked over to the shelves together and he saw that the little tag indicated that it does.  He just sort of shrugged his shoulders and said that he can't do much about it.

What action do you take at that point?  Should I have called over a manger?  Be persistent about it and get them to change it in their computer system?

      • Sesb

That Schick DShave gel at full price didn't coun because it wasn't part of the deal.  the Edge and Skintimate was, though.  Return the Schick gel and get the Edge gel.

        • Shellirichard

The ad says “any Schick or Playtex” product. Is that not right?

          • Jacki

I had a problem with a product on a shelf not showing the sale price. I took the ad to the cashier and showed it to her. She told me that as long as it says the sale in the ad they will got by that. I started grabbing the ad when I walk in so if there was any issues I had the hard copy right there. If you are ever unsure of something call for a manager. Be poliet in explaining what you feel was done wrong. Its true that most times as long as you are nice execptions will be made, You just have to talk to the right person.

            Hope this helps.

            • pf

I grab a salespaper for this reason too and also to make sure I’m grabbing the correct product also.

      • syndilew

Mine counted the shave creams but not the razors.  LOL  My cashier manually printed it out for me.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Schick shave gel and some Schick disposable razors were not part of the deal. The only way I knew is from deal tag on shelves.  From your total, it is clear that 3 Skintimate and 1 Hydro went towards your total purchase, but the shick gel did not-It was not a part of the deal. Return the shave gel, and buy something for about 5.50 or so to bring the total up. (Shave gel in my area are 2.49, not 2.19)

        • Tamara

Our ad in NC stated ANY Schick or Playtex product.

        • Connie

at my store there was a sign in front of the schick disposable razors stating they were in the deal so i bought 2 of these as well  plus the ad says when you buy any schick product. I didn’t get the reward either so i called the company

      • Maryosmith312

I had the same problem. It didn't count my razors. I had her call the manager over and she looked at it and gave me the 10 ECB anyway. I didn't get the exact razors in the picture but it didn't specify- it just said Schick disposable razors so she gave it to me. My CVS usually is very helpful and they can make it print ECB's no matter what so I would definitely fight it for 10 ECB's!!!!

      • Mandyward67

you totally call over the manager!

      • Alexia_murdock

As a cvs employee, let me tell you the proper way to handle it. If there is a tag on that specific product and it's for that product, it should be honored. If the tag is in the wrong place (maybe it should have been on the next item over and the employee made the mistake) or an old tag, the cashier should honor the sale stated on the tag still and then take down the tag so it does not happen again. Alot of cashiers don't learn how to handle a situation properly until they're put in that certain situation. So the best thing to do when in doubt is call a manager. The manager can fix the problem, show the cashier how to properly handle the situation if it happens again, and you get the help you need. Managers are there to help you just like the cashiers. Mistakes do happen (take old sale tags for example, there are hundreds of sales tags around the store we have to pull off the shelves by hand. sometimes we might overlook one that is ending in the rush of taking them down to get the new sale tags up). But the sale should be honored. When looking at the ad, sometimes it might list only a certain count or size. If this is not the case with your product and you're sure you should have gotten the sale, don't hesitate to call a manager to sort it out. We're pretty understanding (smiles). However, sometimes a customer may put the item in a wrong spot (decide not to get the item and randomly put it somewhere) or misread the sign (i've had customers look at a Buy 1 Get 1 50% tag and thought it said 50% off). That we really can't help. We try hard to straighten our aisles through out the day but this literally happens every few minutes so please be understanding of that. However if it is a mistake we made (old tag as an example) the manager on duty should and will be willing to help fix the problem. But call a manager over if you ever need help or are in doubt and the cashier isn't sure. We want to help the best we can so you have a great shopping experience.

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

I have a serious question. Once a shift manager at a coupon unfriendly CVS store,  was literally showing teeth to a customer with a transaction full of coupons. He scrutinized each and every coupon one by one and not even a single one could be rejected for obvious reasons. The manager was again visibly unhappy when extrabucks were used for remainder of balance bringing the amount to pennies. These websites are evidence that so many people make such transactions million times around the country. So why would you have problems with such marketing? Wouldn't it be better if such employees call the marketing and tell them not to issue extrabucks or coupon?

Why would some employees be so mean and disrespectful when they have a job because of such sales?  What happnes to those employees when they are reported to your corporate? What good does the DM do?

Nothing against you-I have met wonderful people in thousands of retail stores I have been to. (I like to think that the manager I mentioned above had possibly some cultural conflict as many are either new to this country or refuse to learn and they think smart shopping is a cheating)

          • Alexia_murdock

All I can say is he was in the wrong (obviously). I can't see why someone would act like that. I guess they forget how lucky they are to have a job and forget their role as a manager is to be helpful. I can't say how every DM or shift will act but from what I have seen, our district manager actually does care alot, takes it seriously, and he has the authority to see to it that the attitude of that supervisor changes quickly if they'd like to keep that job. The DM has a boss to that he has to make happy (area managers). There are plenty of nice/helpful/smart employees able to take that position so that supervisor may want to think hard about their attitude because I'd imagine the DM would know that as well. And let me say this (I'm not allowed to talk about our company's financial standing) but every company I know have seen or know of has had to cut back in some way (lay offs, hours, budget cuts, ect) because of the economy. Companies can't afford to lose business with bad customer service and we are aware of that. If you like the way extra bucks and all that works, you shouldn't have to stop shopping at CVS because of a bad cashier so I figure it would be better to go to a DM about your concerns. It could provide you with a better shopping experience. As a shift supervisor myself, I can tell you that great customer service is a goal we strive for. If our customer service surveys scores are not great, we know to expect a visit from the DM AND the area manager and better have a plan to bring it up. Our company has flaws but those flaws are addressed and confronted. It is a big topic for CVS from my experiences over the last few years. I personally don't want a customer to not approach us (managers) if there's a chance we can make them happy and that chance won't happen at all if you don't reach out. But that's coming from me and my experiences as a CVS employee. And unless I'm working for another company that also goes by CVS, my experiences shouldn't be that different from other employees. I'm just trying to be helpful and that's my advice. I hope no one gets that kind of treatment again from that store. As for the coupon use, I use coupons like crazy myself so maybe my store is used to it because our own employees do it too. I have to use coupons and plan out my shopping trips or I wouldn't be able to survive and I learned how from watching our customers do it so I actually enjoy it when a coupon smart customer come in.

Anyone know why you wouldn't just buy 10 skintimate shave gels, use 10 $1.50 off coupons, and make a huge profit? I reread the coupon policy and didn't see anything about a limit, and in deal two, they used 4 1.50s and 4 .75s.  Just wondering why you wouldn't use the 1.50 coupons all the way

      • ireneY

You would need access to 5 computers. Besides, the IPs aren't available anymore.

        • jnschuler

I just printed mine about 2 min ago

      • syndilew

Good luck finding a CVS that has 10 shave creams.  This is a fairly new product and most of the CVS only have a few.

      • dccouponer

you can make more with 2 skintimate and 2 xtreme3 razors if you use the right qs

      • Mandyward67

I'm sure she doesn't post that because you would have to use 5 computers and she probably feels that to be fair and give everyone a chance at the coupons, they should only print 4.

      • Lea

Plus the shave gel q is for  $.75, the cream shave has the $1.50 q and is much more expensive.

    • Sesb

$13 today out of pocket for $90 something dollars worth of goods…and, $10 ECB left over.  Only paid tax on everything but my 3 razors (which were $8 with 10 ECB back).  Best trip in a long time!

    • ireneY

Slightly disappointed with my CVS today. Asked to get a Nature Made vitamin for half off since there were not two bottles for BOGO. Had to wait for clerk to check the shelves, then the back stockroom first to confirm. At checkout, she scrutinized every single Q and ECB. Out of five Qs, two were rejected. Then, I realized $4 worth of ECBs had expired two days ago and they absolutely would not accommodate. Manager next to her commented that coupon fraud was rampant and that two employees had gotten fired because of it. I am an honest shopper and they've known me for years. The same store was much more lenient just months before. The same manager even said out loud that they took Qs 30 days past expiration. No more.
At a second store just a mile away, they accepted the expired ECBs gladly. What gives?!

      • Alexia_murdock

Accepting expired coupons is up to each store manager. They must use their own judgement when doing this and they are taking a risk by accepting them. They are not supposed to take them. Stores that do take them can find themselves in deep trouble. I work for a CVS and let me tell you that it is true, coupon fraud is becoming a HUGE issue. CVS has no choice but to crack down on coupons because we no longer get credit for accepting them if the conditions are not met as stated on the coupon. Our store alone in a week was losing hundreds of dollars because we treat our customers fairly and if we accept it for one customer it's only fair we do it for others (we have many loyal customers) and then there's word of mouth of what we're doing. One customer tells another and one customer doing it quickly turns into MANY. And yes, many cashiers are getting in trouble/fired for not properly taking coupons as the coupons states it should be taken (experation date, ect). We have to turn our coupons in to our warehouse to show why x-amount of money is being taken off a purchase order and it gets reviewed by people we hire to monitor our cashiers (the register records every thing the cashier does) to ensure our cashiers are properly handling transactions AND being honest employees. Also, when we turn in those coupons, we are also seeking credit. (example, extra bucks from buying pepsi products is a sale pepsi pays us back for). Using a coupon other than what is stated (experation date included) is fraud so by us taking an expired coupon and then trying to recieve credit back from the company whom allowed us the sale puts us in the bad and could ruin our dealings with these companies I imagine (why offer sales to a company (CVS) if they are cheating you?) I would just like you to know as an employee we are not suspicious of you and I'm sorry if that store came across that way. We just have to be more careful. Let's say I take expired coupons and it ended in CVS being fined (and when a corporation gets fined, it's a pretty penny). CVS has to make sure the problem doesn't happen again. So it puts me in a spot to be terminated. And seeing that scares the other cashiers into being super careful and may come across as being suspicous of you… but again, I promise, it's just that cashier trying to keep their job. I once took a bad check for a large amount of money. It was an accident. So now I literally study every check that comes my way because the bad check was disguised very well and even worse I was tricked by a little old man walking with a cane whom was so sweet. And I've seen fake coupons that could pass as the real thing and recently we had ALOT of fake coca cola coupons being passed around and it got so bad that Coke was offering a reward for any information leading up to an arrest of whoever started it. The scary part, many of our loyal customers were bringing them in with no idea they were fake internet coupons. It was an aweful mess. Sorry for my rambling, but I just wanted to shed some light on the topic. Believe me when I say, we love happy customers. When you work an 8 hour shift handling customers all day (and many of these customers we have a friendly relationship with because they are loyal customers) the last thing we want to do is upset you. We appreciate your business. After all, I wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for your business. :) We have no reason to intentionally disappoint you. And we also want to continue providing you with great deals. We apologize the coupons rules are changing and have changed quickly but we've been pushed into a corner by law. I hope things change back to the way they were. If you ever do have any questions, don't hesitate to ask a manager (that's what they're for) or call the 1800SHOPCVS line. ;)

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

          A)  It is hard for me to believe that CVS would get heavy fine or even any fine for accepting expired coupons. The worst it can get is not getting reimbursed for few dollars (not many people use expired coupons and also in most cases, cashiers glimpse at expiration dates as they scan). For manufacturers, retail stores like CVS are customers. So they definitely would not annoy such big retilers for petty things since big retailers are selling their products.

          B) So many legit deals and coupons are already available so widely, and should be because that is what marketing is, and this website is a good example that gives all possible deal scenarios that any coupon fraud would be unnecessary.

          C)  Basically, there is also a hype and so called coupon fraud is being blown out of proportion. There has always been fraud in any imaginable way of life forever, and just b;aming it on coupon use is just finding a scapegoat.

I think that there are so many deals people can have and as common man is realizing them and using those deals to benefit themselves, many employees are just taking it out on people using any coupons thinking fraud is “rampant” because there is such a widespread use now. I have witnessed several incidents in multiple stores where employees were being vigilantes and just taking out on even legit coupon users. I am not pulling a trigger on you, but if the coupon says b1g1 free, then that is what it means “free”. If it beeps, you should know what to do.

          • Alexia_murdock

I will agree with watching cashiers sometimes become vigilantes about coupons and I do not support that. I love coupons and as soon as I'm off the clock Sunday you can bet I'm at the register with my own coupons and we have other employees do it too. And you're right about there being so many legit deals and coupons and websites available to show you how to attain those deals. I'm not sure if maybe not enough people know about it in my area or what the deal is, but right now CVS is really having problems with coupon fraud (our store anyways). People really are losing their jobs for it and I'm not making up the amount my store loses in a week due to expired coupons (not that you are saying I am). Maybe my store is a rare case with how much of it we see, but I'm only telling you what i see at my own store. And yes, if a coupon says B1G1 free, then it is free. The question that goes back and forth is can you use another manf. coupon when already using a B1G1 Free coupon that covers the one being bought the the one that is free. I've served under many managers and I've always been told no. Possibly I've had a string of bad luck? It wouldn't be the first time. :( I'm open to ways to improve coupon use in stores and my store's employees are too. We actually take expired coupons as long as we get them in time to send in with the rest of our coupons for that week. Our store manager is super nice about it. Hopefully things will change so we can take them even a few weeks expired. I'd personally like to see that happen again. :)

            • Mysterious_Mentalist

Thanks for your response. When I said b1g1 coupon beeps, I was tryng to say that cashiers and surrounding employees get suspicious and start looking at the coupon as if it were from another planet. B1g1 Qs always beep and prompts you to enter the price of your item as the coupon is not coded to detect your store price. But employees make me uncomfortable by reading  the Q over and over again when it says in bold b1g1; all they need to so is to jump to the register key and process in a second and get over it.

Also, $ off Q can be used with b1g1 Q because you are still buying the item A and item B is for free with that Q.

Exception is some PG b1g1 Qs.

              A)  If PG b1g1 Q says b1 Gillette bw, and get 1 Gillette bw free (meaning same exact product), then b1g1 Q can not be coupled with any other Q on the same number of items-That is what PG wants it.  If you scan $off Q with b1g1, then your register will say something like coupon number exceeded. However, I liked CVS because they would override it anyway but lately, some employees are snippy about it.

              B) However, if PG b1g1 Q is for something like buy 1 Gillette deo and g1 Gill. bw free (two dofferent products) then you can couple b1g1 Q with $ off and your register should not beep because of “coupon number exceeded”

I have noticed the same with other manuf also. For scenario A above Qs code would end in “14” which prompts the computer system not to couple it with $ coupons for the same number f items.

The problem is if you tell employees that above A is what one coupon should be accepted, they will start rejecting for legit cases that fall under scenario B I presented above.  Pleas let us know if you have any different experience or if I have any wrong information. Thanks!

Did anyone have trouble with the register not accepting some coupons for the Schick deal? I had two of my razor coupons beep and I am thinking maybe I just presented them in the wrong order?? I bought 2 of the Skintimate Creams and 2 packs Schick disposable woman's razors. I intended to use (2) $1.50 off Skintimate Cream Shave, (2) CVS coupons for $2 off Schick disposable razors, (1) BOGO Schick Razors, and (1) $1 off Schick Razors. However, I was only able to use the coupons for the Cream Shave, (1) CVS Schick coupon and the BOGO Schick. The register, and thus the cashier, rejected the other CVS Schick coupon and the $1 off citing that since one of my razors was free, I didnt have product to support the other coupons. How should I have presented these to get them to work?

      • Blackvelvet49

I had a problem with 2 of my coupons. I bought 8 cream shaves – one of the 1.00 coupons didn't work and I bought 2 shave gel – 1 of my 0.75 coupons didnt work. Not sure why as I had a coupon for each item. Oh well, still an awesome deal!

      • Syndilew

It wasn't you, it was the register.  It only wanted to take one CVS q but their is nothing in their policy stating that you can only use one so my cashier manually put mine through. HTH

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

You presented 2 CVS $2 coupons, which should have been one because you are only buying one and the other one is free from bogo Q.  However, that was not the sole reason it was beeping though.  I did the same deal and used the right coupons,1)  $1 manuf Q, 1) $2 CVS Q, and 1) manu bogo. The register would not take bogo after the other two had been scanned. The cashier could not push it thru. The manager had to overwrite it. I dont know why it was beeping. I am guessing the register was looking at CVS Q as one manuf Q that could not be combined with another manuf Q.

        • sally1986

It did the same to me. I had all the right Q my CVS coupon would not work the register beeped and the manager at my store has been told not to overwrite anymore.

      • Jacki

My problem was with the B1G1 coupon. The cashier told me that they were told by mangement not to override if the register shows that it won't accept it for some reason. I probably should have called for a manager to actually override it but I let it go because the cashier was alittle highstrung so I just subsittute the B1G1 for 2 $1 off qs. It made it a little more then I originally expected but I didn't mind. OOP 20.56 with 16 EXBs after everything I bought.

I also found items on the shelf that didn't have the discount marked but it wasd in the ad. I asked the cashier and she told me that as long as it was in the ad they will make sure the right price comes up.I am now double checking all my items with the circular I pick up as soon as I walk in. I already have my list  made up when I walk in but I doule check is cause the CVS I shoip at doesn't seem to be on top of their game all the time.

      • Ucfmissy

I had the same problem with the razors today. I bought the shave cream with no problem, but the coupons for the razors gave me a problem. It would only accept the $1.00 off razors, and not the BOGO coupons. I had the cashier call the manager since I was sure I was using the correct coupons. She told me that CVS is really clamping down on coupons with the BOGO items. I asked if they had posted anywhere and she said no that it was just programmed into the cash registers. Does anyone know how to contact Jenni and double check this??

        • Twirlly

I experienced the same thing. I need CVS to clarify that you can no longer stack store and manufacturers if this is the case. It was somewhat frustrating, but only affected my total by $2, and still a MM, but we couponers know that $2 can get alot.

          • Tamara

I only had a problem with using two CVS coupons.  The second one beeped and the cashier said she couldn't take it.  I still got a great deal though.  I got a $3/1 coupon from facebook (in the coupon database) for schick xtreme 3 fitstyle disposable razors.  I used one BOGO, the $3/1, and one $2/1 CVS coupon.

      • I had no problem with my transaction today, except that the cashier had to push the second CVS coupon through. I seem to recall that, some time back, CVS would not accept 2 identical coupons in the same transaction. However, you can stack a CVS coupon with a free product or BOGO coupon. I did it a while back when I had the coupon for free John Frieda Hair Color and a $4 coupon from the scanner.

      • Cypressmom

I had the same issue.  The cashier would accept the BOGO, but not the $1 off on the Schick disposables.  She said the BOGO cvered both items, and that I could not use an additional Manufacturer coupon for them.

I later discovered that there is a store coupon on CVS's website for $2 off Schick disposablable razors, I wonder if those would work, since they are store coupons.

      • Kricket Mills

2 of my Schick coupons wouldn't work. I had 3 Total- 1 for get and 2 for cream shave. It only took one cream shave, and beeped at the others. We even tried to take it off, and ring it up separately and it wouldn't go through. She tried manually too.

Disappointing, but still got my $10 ECB :)

    • Sav$

$50.00 rebate on Organix hair care products at organixhair.com  good thru Jan 2012

    • Swimnchick1234

I registered on the Brita site to get the $2 off coupon.  After I registered it never took me to the website.  Does anyone know how to get the coupon?

      • Almoore

The link will show up in your email!

        • alondra

I also registered and tried to get the coupon off my email and doesn't show up.  can you help?

    • tmswink

Can someone tell me, if I purchase 2 items in the same transaction that I'm supposed to get ECB's for, will they both print out? Like if I purchase razors that are supposed to give $4 ECB and soap that is supposed to give $2 ECB will both the $4 and $2 ECB's print out in the same transaction, giving me a total of $6 ECB from one purchase? Just curious if I would need to purchase them separately to get the full amount of ECB back.

      • Walli

      • Marlamae

You'll get both ECB's, but make sure they both show up on that receipt. I bought the renu contact solution and the kotex on the same transaction and it only printed out the kotex ECB. The cashier just rescanned the receipt and printed the ECB for the contact solution.

        • tmswink

Are they usually pretty good about reprinting them for you? Last week I got the fusion razor and refills. One was supposed to give 2 ECB and the other was supposed to give 4 ECB and it only printed the 4 ECB. I have only done this for 2 weeks or so, so I wasn't sure about the policies. I thought maybe it just printed the higher one if you combined the transactions. Next time I will know to ask!!! Thanks!!

          • Jlaleonard

you may want to call the CVS 800 number they know what has printed from your card.

          • Marlamae

I wouldn't know, this was my first cvs coupon trip, haha. I just happened to have a similar situation….

    • SiameseKrazy

My CVS store was out of the ReNu in the add that pays $6 back, but they let me buy the Sensitive for that deal. I also used the $4 dollar off coupon for the twin pack of ReNu and it worked. Total paid, $3.89 and $6 towards other deals! Yay!

    • SiameseKrazy

If it the coupon was for a twin pack and you bought a single bottle, that is using the coupon incorrectly and constitutes as fraud…

        • SiameseKrazy

Thank you Olivia. I thought if the system honored the coupon, it was okay to do that.

    • Mcgraw811

not sure if it has been posted but Bi Lo has peelies on their 24pk of pepsi that are good for $1 off a 24pk or 2 12pk

I am new to CVSing and would like to say that I am sold!  I have never really shopped there before, so I did a little experiment today.  I came home with 3 bottles of body wash, 2 tubes of toothpastes, 2 boxes of kotex, and a bottle of vitamins.  Total before savings $24.71 Total spent: $10.89 with $9.00 in ECB!  I would have done even better with a few more body wash coupons. Not bad for a first try!!

    • Christinabrunk

Had an interesting experience at CVS today. Went in for soda (Pepsi product 12-packs are 4/$10). Bought 3 12-packs – total purchase of $8.01 – and got FOUR DOLLARS in ECBs!

      • What does it say that it is for?

    • Bamasaver

        • Bamasaver

I bought the ones on sale at CVS this week (listed by Jenny above)–regular, 8-pk, $7.99 w/ $1ECB back (limit 4).  I'm in the Anniston area.

    • Kim

Hey Everyone! I was just wondering if the CVS beauty Club has a list on what they consider to be Beauty, bc I bought the Gillette Fusion razor last week and on the reciept the amount of $ i spent for the beauty bucks didnt change so I figured it was bc it was a mens razor? but than i just bought shampoo and conditioner and that still didnt add any $ in the Beauty program..is there anything I can do? I just realized this so I dont even know how long this has been going on… thanks for any help! =)

      • Jlaleonard

Mine was the same way. I had to call and they issued credit. The fusion razor was shown on the site under men's skin care for the beauty club. All shampoo's should count too.

      • Melissa

I read somewhere that it takes a few days for it to update — unlike the report on ECB deals that you've done. Just like the milk deal.  Right after I bought the 5th gallon, it didn't register….then about 2 days later, my coupon for a free milk printed out.

      • NewMommy2

I was wondering the same thing, bc I was only 3 dollars away from the $50 mark, and I bought $15 worth of Loreal today and only got the $5 ECB  for the Loreal, I should have gotten another one for the the Beauty Club offer. hmmm???

        • Lisa

My $5 ECB came from the kiosk machine when I reached my $50.00.  I scanned my card and it was one of my coupons.

    • Kayla Floyd

I did the schick & playtex deal this week and did the following:
      Purchase Six Edge shave creams.
4 Skintimate shave gels (use 0.75 off coupon, 2 1.00 coupons and 1.00 coupon).
Use 5.00 ECB (I used mine from the Clean & Clear deal last week)
Use 3.00 ECB  (this came from the irish spring and softsoap deal I did for this week).
Use $1.00 ECB (Used from Green bag tag scans)
I paid $10.33 as total, and with $10.00 ECB's coming back to me I only paid 33 cents!
For everything I purchased today I spent a total of $14.96 after manufacturer coupons and ECB's

    • jess

I did my first cvs trip today! pretty excited.
I bought sensitive renu on my first transaction for 7 something and got $6 ecb.
      then 2nd trans. I bought 4 dove mens deodorants, which are 2/$7 and used 2/$2.00 off q's. (twice)= $6 for 4 deo's
Then 3 herbal shampoos and 3 aussie styler products. on sale for 2/ $4.97… used 3/3.00 off wyb 2
which made it 1.97 for two products.
      2nd transaction=around 13.00-6ecb=paid 7 dollars for everything! yay!
      PLUS i got a 10 gas card!

      • Kathy

Hey.  I would like to try to duplicate your post.  However, new at this and not sure what “used 2/$2.00 off q's.  What are q's?  and is the 3/3.00 off for the herbal sh and aussie stuff a sale or do i need a coupon for it?  Thanks!

        • Christinescoupon

q=coupon so she used two $2 off coupons and the 3/3.00 she used three 3.00 off herbal essance/aussie product coupons that where in the paper a couple weeks ago hope that helps :-)

    • guest

people that are using coupons incorrectly are going to ruin couponing for all the honest people out there.  because of incorrect use already certain manufacturers are starting  to decrease the value of their coupons and the rules at stores are beginning to get stricter.  is it so hard to use coupons the honest and legal way!!!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

This is just a hype that coupons are being used incorrectly, from my real experience.  Coupon/Rewards use has increased and some people are not taking the change and shopping norm too easily, so they just blame scapegoats and make blanket statements. There are so many legit deals out there in so many stores that you do not need any incorrect use to score high-This website is a good example with so many scenario deals given.

Possibly, websites where they post “profit” are just making them think that deals are just too good and that they need to shrink it a little bit. And even shrinking a bit will not change much in terms of getting deals. It is the marketers themselves that have started a revolution by offering rewards and extrabucks, and coupons. Honestly, if they had any problem they would simply not offer their coupons and store rewards coupled together at the same time. Shrinking deals just mean that instead of your storage full of 50 body washes will now be only down to 25-not bad at all!

      • This is my theory.

When a manufacturer offers a coupon, they are prepared, financially, for X% of those coupons to be redeemed. In the last few months, the percentage of redeemed coupons has exceeded that expectation, therefore, the manufacturers are lowering the face value in order to accommodate the growing popularity.

And, technically, we all use them incorrectly. Coupons are a form of advertising, intended to get us to try their product, like it, and pay full price for it next time. Instead, we use them to get their item at a greatly discounted rate, on a regular basis. Usually, when a retailer has a product on sale, it is because the manufacturer has offered them a promotional price. So when we use a coupon on it, the manufacturer is taking a double hit. And, if you shop the way I do, they gain nothing, because, as long as there are sales and coupons, I will not pay full price.

        • ireneY

I agree. When we buy multiples with Qs on sale, it's not what retailers intended. (Not saying it's wrong either) The “loss leaders” are supposed to bring you in the store so you will buy other things at regular price as well. Now that they've caught on, we'll probably see less sale and Q matchups.

          • Jenny

I worked for two very large consumer products companies and worked in sales and marketing. Trust me when I say that couponers are hardly making any dent in profits, as the majority of people do not use them. If anything, they help increase market share over competition, which is highly sought after, since they drive trial especially for new products. So coupon away, people, I doubt things will change drastically even with more people couponing.

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

Coupon users are still a tiny minority. Your theory is exactly what coupons were intended for in good old days. But now, it has changed. Manuf. use couponers to promote their products. For example, you may have bought several Gillette Proglide razors on coupns/deals for almost pennies; but you would probably give them away to others or even if you sell them, you are still spreading their product to more population. So people would have to buy cartridges for those razors and those cartridges almost never go on sale/coupons. Firthermore, manufacturers routinely send out free samples/products to people to try out; so you are saving them that cost at least.  So basically, couponers are salesmen for the manufacturers.

furthermore is spelled with a u not an i. You seem to hold yourself in such high regard you might want to check your spelling next time.

Thank you! I have my head up on whatever I do and am proud of it. Next time, enjoy the priceless substance of my posts to educate yourself so you could hold your head up; and do not worry about my new difficult keyboard that can not keep up with me (Hint: Notice that u and i are side by side on your keyboard)

    • Cypressmom

I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned, but for the Schick deal idea, there is a $2 CVS store coupon on their website for Schick disposable razors. I think this link will get you there.  Happy Shopping!!!

    • Staceyf

Got a $4 off $20 when I scanned at the kiosk this morning! WOOT!

    • Connie

Where do I get the get more from your pharmacy coupon book?

      • Dianne L

I have never seen it! I have looked for months. It was supposed to have been at Kroger pharmacies. Probably long gone.

        • Danielle

Long gone….I think they were out in Jan

    • Karen

Questions: This will be my first week shopping at CVS. Should I buy all my ECB items in one purchase? & also for the U by Kotex deal it is a limit of 1 per household. This Sunday's ad had coupons for liners, pads, and tampons. So since they are each different items could I buy all 3 & expect to get my $2 in ECBs 3 times? Again, they are different products. Or is the $2 ECB for Kotex a 1 time thing and I have to choose tampons, liners, or pads?

      • Bamasaver

The advantage to doing multiple transactions vs a single transaction is that you can “roll” the ECBs earned from one transaction to the next transaction & this can help lower your out-of-pocket cost.  It's really just personal preference–I, myself, am not one to do more than a couple of transactions at the most.  As for the Kotex deal, you'll have to choose between the various products included in the deal.  The limit is one ECB reward regardless of how many products you purchase.  If the limit were three, then you could purchase each type of product and expect to receive three $2 ECBs in return.  CVS usually limits deals to one, but some (like the Bounty paper towels this week) have a larger limit where you can get the reward more than once.  HTH

      • Danyeln

Personally, I only do 1 transaction.  I was out a little more out of pocket my first time but after that I have a larger amount of ECBs to use.  For instance; if your total ECBs earned this week was 12 you could do multiple transaction and only have 1 or 2 left over for next week and have spent only a few bucks out of pocket.  Or you can spend 10 to 15 OOP and have all 12 left over for next week when you will pay very little OOP because you have all 12 ECBs.  Basically they all work out the same in the long run you just have to stick to one method or the other.

      • Dccouponer

you have to choose – you can only get one 2ecb for kotex

    • Juanita

Finally!  I went to CVS, not a regular trip, for my sister who has many pain disorders.  I brought (1) Precise cream $8.29 and (1) Colgate $2.50…I used a $10ecb and $2.50 in total coupons…O.O.P $1.00(just the taxes)….I am feeling so good right now.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

you are probably new. You still lost 10 ecb that you had earned. I wouldn't be excited unless I get all my ecb back or even higher amount, called “rolling” and “profit”

        • Danielle

What you do and what she does/did are two different things.  Let her enjoy her happiness, not everyone only uses ECB's to get more.  If it comes down to it I wouldrather purchase something and save the money then to waste the ECB's waiting for something to come along that I need!

          • Nicky

I agree!  I went to CVS tonight, bought (2) 12-packs of Pepsi for $5.33–used $5.00 ECB and it took away the tax–so, (2) 12-packs for free!!

    • Donna091960

I know this blog  is for CVS, but just wanted to share.  I went to Dollar General and bought Reynolds Aluminum Foil at $1 used 75 cent off coupons made them 25 cent a peice.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

75 cents Q was one for large size 75 sq ft or over, and the other one was for a “new” variety soething like non-stick. I do not think any of those two types would be $1

        • Donna091960

They are!! They are on a “Dollar” shelf, along with 3 Ivory bar soap, Irish Springs 3 bar soap, and alot of other product. Check it out for yourself!

          • Danielle

Donna thanks for the info I will have to check it out.  That is a great price either way

        • chas

My Dollar General has the special $1.00 shelf with these same deals. It is great!

    • Acreeplumbing

went to CVS7-25-11 bought 12 aussie shampoo $2.48 and lysol spray $4. Used $5 off $20 purchase and $3 off WYB ,PG 7/3.With tax paid $12.05 and got $10 Gas card

    • Rjpsaves

Last night my CVS cashier told me they were doing away with ECB's soon. Has anyone heard about this?

      • Coupongal18

I'm hoping that isn't true because that is what gives them an edge….if they do that, I think they will lose a lot of business…not just couponers but business in general!

      • Alexia_murdock

I work for CVS as a shift supervisor and I haven't heard anything like that. If I do I'll make a post.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

It might be that they would introduce a gift card like the one Wags is working on, I think; or else, it might just be gossip

      • This is probably her misunderstanding of the revamping of how the ExtraBucks appear on your receipt/printout from the coupon center.  The old ExtraBucks were somewhat hard to spot before, so they're changing the format to call more attention to the value.  ExtraBucks will still be around, don't worry!

    • Emily

I let a $10 ECB exprire.. the date was 7/25/11. Does CVS do any kind of reimbursement for expired ECB? Thanks in advance for any advice on this! $10 is a lot of $$$ for me to lose!

      • Chele17rene

Call ur local stores and ask if the will still take them. Some will, some won't! If that doesnt happen call corp.

      • Firstbrownie

Most of the stores in my area take them 30 days past expiration! I hope they do that for you too!

    • Stef

Android/iPhone users- there's a free app called checkpoints that allows you to earn free CVS gift cards. Use the code stefanie28 when you download, and you'll be half way to your first $2 gift card! Happy couponing!

    • JO

Does anyone know where I can find RoC Coupons. I cant get any to come up on the database. I find this hard to believe. It seems that they are always offered in  some place!

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

Since there are CVs employees here; I have few questions that I am curious about. I have always loved CVs for their “top-notch” attitude. I have literally spent at least 12,000 in sales each year at CVs and am still cosy with the employees there but  until severeal months ago when I noticed change in employees attitude. Understandably, they had some work related issues; but I felt they were getting unfriendly and suspicious when it came to coupons although I have always used legit transactions and I did it as a hobby for fun. So I tried WAGS in my area and I was pleasantly surprised how friendly and accommodating they are contrary to what many had spoken against them here on these posts. So, I am now sold to WAGs and my sales with CVS is hardly over 1000 this year.

Is CVS reversing the course and going down?  (While WAGS is taking its place and improving its customer relations dramatically and is on the rise).  Is Wags going to be new CVS?

(I do some customer relation work and have been to hundreds and hundreds of retail stores and I know what I am talking about)

      • Sb

About a month ago CVS invited a bunch of bloggers to their headquarters (Jenny included) to discuss coupon policies, stock, and other areas where cvs could improve. They have recently changed the look of the ECBs so, more people would notice and redeem them and have kept a broad coupon policy so, that individual managers can make policies that best fit their store. I've never had a bad experience at any of the CVS' I have visited in my area.

        • Sofia

I agree. CVS is my favorite place to shop. If they had food I'd never go anywhere else!

      • I'm confused. If you know what you're talking about, then why are you asking us? ;-)

To answer your question: I would say “no”. I'm sure that opinions will vary from person to person and town to town, but I don't think that Walgreens is going to be the new CVS. Personally, I have found my local Walgreens to be far less tolerant of couponing than my local CVS. I won't pretend to know for sure that this is how it is everywhere, but most coupon-savvy people I talk to seem to agree that CVS is an easier place to shop for deals. So, who knows?

    • Lauren

My friend received two $5 off $25 coupons from the redbox. She gave me one, but I'm wondering if I can use it? It has her name and ECB number on the coupon, but it doesn't really say that is has to be used by her. Thanks!

      • ruthsmartshopper2010

I think your answer is no. Those coupons are printed from your CVS Savings Card number. Log in and print your own.

      • guest

        nope you can't, sorry

    • Valarie P.

Are there any coupons for new prescriptions out there?

    • Kfhammock

Where do I find the Get More From Your Pharmacy booklet?

    • connie

My second cvs trip didn't go well. I bought two of the skintimate cream shave-2.19 and two of the schick slim twin razor-8.49. Total after coupons was 8.37. Didn't not get the 10 ecb

      • DianeD

I think that's because its a limit of one ECB per ECB card or customer…

    • DianeD

Good trip to CVS last night, did the Skintimate and Schick razor deal. But a lady who checked out before me pointed out that there is a free hispanic newspaper on their newspaper stand with coupon inserts. However, they seem to run a few weeks behind — they held Redplum inserts for 7/10. Not complaining though, extra coupons are always good! Anyone know of other “free” coupons like this?

    • ab

Two CVSs that I went to yesterday and today had Papers Swaddlers Sensitive and Huggies Pure and Natural on clearance for either 50 or 75% off, depending on store. There are $1.50 off Pampers coupons out that expire 7/31. Might help if you didn't get the other diaper deals. :)

    • JO

I know this has been answered before , but I have never done the gas deal before., If I have manufacturer coupons for some of the items, do I have to spend $30 before coupons or after coupon total? Thanks

      • deecheers4rv

        30 before coupons

    • busy mom

my mother in law gave me her ECB   can i use them????

      • Lzbacnik

No, because the ECB is tied to your card.   The register will beep.

    • Jas

So I have a ??? I read the coupon policy that jenny has posted for cvs and didnt see the answer to my questions. Today I went to cvs, (one that I dont usually go to btw) and purchased 3 lumene wipes each priced at 2.89. I handed over my 3 coupons for $4 each and at first didn't want to accept them because the amount of my items were less than the coupon amount. She did scan one coupon and accepted it but the other two beeped and she gave them back to me. My questions are, is overage not allowed and was I wrong? Should she have accepted my coupons? and should she have just adjusted the coupons down? I am thinking about returning the wipes and trying a better way to work out this deal though, so any suggestions would be helpful, with that said other than the wipes the next priced item was 6.89. I'm new to couponing and don't want to be one of those labeled as messing up couponing for everyone else, so I appreciate the help.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

I have answered this before but here how it goes technically. CVS register is programmed to take manuf Q upto the amount of those product only and does not allow overage to be applied to any other items or subtotal.

You bought 3 items @ 2.89 each and the total for those products was 8.67
Therefore, coupons up to that amount could be used. Therefore, 2 Qs for $4 each should have scanned without any beep (I dont know why the second one would beep-you still had higher product price than Q values by that point). Therefore, after the second Q, your balance remaining would have been 0.67 and your third $4 Q would have beeped and should have been adjusted to 67 cents (if you wanted to use it or save the Q for another purchase). An open-minded employee could have pushed the Q for full value so you could have benefited the most.

However, I have noticed lately that clearance items now scan at clearance price regardless of card scanned or not. (It used to scan full price if you did not scan card and then would show new clearance price after the card scan-at least at stores I have been to). From one of my experiences, the above technical analysis did not apply to clearance items that I bought at two different stores. In such cases, each coupon would be beeping even for the first item in your case and the cashier should be adjusting the price to 2.89 for each one.

The above was true at least until few weeks ago. I am not sure if CVS has reprogrammed the register to detect new discrepancies.

Remember, manuf Q can still be used if the store price wether sale or not is less than the Q price. All they need to do is to adjust the price. Remind the employee that the manuf did not say you could not use the Q if the price of the item was less; neither doe sthe coupon say or suggest that the price should be something before the Q could be used. This is generally accepted policy by manuf and retailers alike-so no argument about it.

        • Jas

Thank you very much! I will just return the items and have them adjust my coupons!

    • Aria

Red box gave me $4 off of huggies Jean diaper coupon and $5 off of $25 today. They sell diapers for $8.99 so it is pretty good deal even without mq. Wanted to share.

    • Amanda

I love CVS.  I went today and spent $14.86 out of pocket and got a total of $30 ECB back to use later.

    • Kristen

Ahh, I love CVS. I did the schick deal this week… Yay! Anyway, when I checked out I bought 2 packages of razors. I had a B1G1 and a $1/1, but for some reason the dollar off just wouldn't work. I didn't really push it because I was pretty much getting them for free with or without that out the extra dollar off… But it SHOULD have worked, right? I'm 90% sure I've done this before. CVS didn't recently change their coupon policy or anything… Did they?? Because that would be lame. lol

      • Vtwithers

They did change the policy regarding bogo coupons at the beginning of this month. No more cents off when you are also using a bogo coupon. I have also heard that they are not allowing two coupons to be used on a bogo sale. The best thing to do is to call CVS corporate and ask them for their policy. They do not publish it but will most likely mail you their stance on certain questions.

    • gg

If i have a bogo coupon- i know i can use another cents off coupons with that but can i use to cvs coupons with that aswell since i am getting two items and they are cvs coupons

      • Bamasaver

If the CVS Qs say “one per customer” (or something similar), they probably won't let you use two at the same time.

    • Kdfowler84

      just got a $5 off $25 email…woohoo!!!!!

      • Angelascoupons1

Me too!  But my girlfriend did not get one.  What do you think is the rhyme or reason?

        • ab

I used to get them every week but haven't gotten one in a few months. I can't figure it out.

          • Sara Kathryn

I have realized that if you do not print one one week then they don't send you one for weeks. HTH!

    • Question–I got a $10 Shell card back today, and I went to the gas station to use it and it wouldn't work.  The lady at the station was super nice and she called the number on back of the card and found it did have a $10 balance.  She even called her manager, but nothing worked.  What should I do?

      • Gatorginger

take it back to the cvs you got it from maybe they forgot to activate it

      • Did they try running it as credit?

      • iluvcoupons

the guy at the shell I stopped at said it had to be used on a $10.00 sale, no more than that. So I stopped in later and only put 10.00 in and it worked fine!

    • Savingmoney11

Ok so quick question. On Saturday evening I bought 4 of the schick razors where it wad b1g1 half off and used two b1g1 coupons. Because the deals for Sunday had downloaded I got 10ecb's. Can I do another one of the $10 ecb deals wyb $20 of merchandise this week or not because I did it on Saturday night? Does it count toward this weeks deals or last weeks?

      • It will count toward this week's deals. To verify, compare the offer number on your ECB and in the ad.

    • Lesli

I have a question about the deal  $5 ECB WYB (2) L’Oreal EverPure, EverStrong or EverSleek Shampoo.  I got an extracare coupon on my receipt that says $2 off shampoo, conditioner or styling purchase.  I also got the 2 coupons from the paper- $2 off L’Oreal EverSleek, EverPure or EverStrong treatment, RP 7/24and -$2 off L’Oreal EverSleek, EverPure or EverStrong shampoo or conditioner.

Can I buy a shampooo and a treatment and use the $2 off shampoo, conditioner or treatment extracare coupon plus the two coupons from the paper (one towards the shampoo and the other for the treatment)?

    • Lesli

I just posted a question but I am adding on.  So you have to buy 2 L'Oreal products to get $5ECBs (shampoo, conditioner or treatment).  I want to buy a shampoo and a treatment.  I have 2 manufacter coupons- one for $2 off L'Oreal shampoo, the other for $2 off L'Oreal treatment.  I got a coupon on my CVS receipt for $2 off any shampoo, conditioner, or treatment.  Can I use a manufacter coupon in conjunction with a register tape coupon?  I also got a $4 off purchase of $20 in my email.  Can I use that as well towards the purchase?

      • Yes, you can use all of these coupons.

      • Carrieluvsgreg

Make sure that you give them the $4 off $20 first~otherwise it won't work when your subtotal drops below $20.

    • Almsw119

I did well yesterday! I purchased 3 boxes of cereal, 3 bottles of SS Body wash (my husband's fav, and he is VERY brand loyal), PM pens, and Crest toothpaste for $4.30 (including tax)!  I was very proud of my self!  Also, I wound up with 6.99 in ECB.  It landed me $1 away from the beauty $5 ECB's.

    • Car0413

I had a problem with skintimate would not take $1.50 coupon because picture on coupon is plastic bottle of cream shave not can of shave cream

      • Carrieluvsgreg

The cream shave is also on sale for the same price, which is a much better deal so most stores are sold out.  You can get a raincheck for it to get it at that price when it does come in.  The cream shave and shave cream are totally different products.

    • Ari

FYI if you like to get Scotties 1000s.  The gas deal included 12 pack of Scotties 1000 sheet for 7.49.  Four = 29.96.  CVS ad says $30, but the receipt only requires 29.95, so 4 of these will get you the $10 in gas.

    • Carrieluvsgreg

Had an amazing day at CVS!!!  First I went in to use a $5 off $25 that was going to expire on 7/31…
I also had $5.00 ECB reward for Beauty Club plus $5.00 ECB from my previous purchase… so it seems easy enough that I would get out for under $10.
Well, as it turned out, my store had a Banana Boat deal that I have not seen advertised anywhere.  $10 ECB wyb $20. in Banana Boat products.  They were also on sale for $6.99 and had $2 q's on each.  I combined that with the Olay Reginerest cleanser that was $6.79 (also had $3 Q), so initial purchase was $5.17 for over $28.00 retail, and I got back $10 ECB, with which I purchased one Loreal single eye shadow for $4.99 and one Loreal Double Extend Mascara for $10.99.  That made the $15 minimum necessary for the $5 ECB and I had a  $2 Q for the shadow, $3 Q for the mascara… bringing my oop $1.81!!!!!!!!!!!!
So~total retail is $43, total paid $7 and $5 ECB for next time!
      I LOVE CVS!!

    • Angela

I got a $4 coupon off Huggies jeans diapers at the red coupon machine today. They're already on sale for $8.99 so this is a great deal, esp. if you have man. coupons!

    • Ladygabz

Hey has anyone tried the Dove Shampoo and treatment Gas Card deal, if so can you explain how you did it, I know there problems with finding treaments and many people have been buying hairspray to make it work. I not so sure, so if you could help I would like that alot.
