    • Does anyone know if Tide powder is included in the PG product deal?

      • Mommysauls

I have the ad already, which you have prolly already seen but just in case. It says Regular or HE 48-64 loads, it only shows the liquid in the pics :)

    • Queenjen

Hey, I have two $1 any 4oz colgate from the dentist. Sounds good to roll some ecbs and get a good donation freebie. Hope for a 5/30 buy two colgate, two purex, and the 15 2liters and a filler. Use 13 ecb, pay $4 get 10.98ecb. Total cost of $6 for everything +tax. Not bad.

      • Mommysauls

How did you figure this out ? love your Scenario but wouldn't the total be more than 17.00?? THANKS!

        • Freedomspradley1

You have to take off all her coupons which include 2 – .75 colgate, 2 – $3 purex, -$5/30 CVS q and she could have some b1g1 coupons on the soda.

          • Mommysauls

    • flower_mom

The link for the Revlon nail enamel ($2/2) coupon is still not working. :(

      • DonnaTN

It expired 9/30 so it's not valid anymore.

    • HockeytownGA

anyone got a deal to use 5 off 30 and not loose any ecb. Like for example if I use 8 ecb I want to get back that amount. like my out of pocket to be under 4 bucks. Thanks if you can help

      • Diane

        I am getting (2) colgate toothpaste @ $2.99 each, (2) quaker oatmeal @ 2 for $5, (2) dial body wash @ $4 each, (2) AZO itch relief @ $6.99 each =$32.96
        Use: $5 off $30, (2) $.75/1 colgate total, (2) $1/1 oatmeal, (2) $1/1 dial body wash, (2) $2/1 AZO itch relief. Total = $18.46 – $13 ECB = $5.46 oop
Get Back: (2) $2.99 ECB for colgate, $2 ECB for quaker, $2 ECB for body wash, and $10 ECB for AZO. That's a total of $19.98 ECB back.

      • Sean

I would utilize the Purex BOGO and the Dawn w/Olay if you have the coupons How many ECB are you starting with?

    • Crafty_cat_86

Okay, I'm kinda new at this and I'm still getting a feel for how mush I should pay for stuff. I have one ECB for $10 and another for $3. Here's my scenario: buy 2 total toothpastes, use $1 CVS q and (2) .75/1 qs, use the 3 ECB and pay a dollar or so and get 5.98 ECB back. Then buy 2 Tides, using $1 qs for each and one paper towel, using the .25 q. Use a $4/20 q, the 5.98 from before and $10 from the beginning and pay 6.70. The detergent (we are sort of brand loyal on this one) and paper towels with the toothpastes (that I'm gonna donate) are costing me $7 and 3 ECB. I'd think that was a good deal, but it seems like CVSing is a whole new ball game and if you didn't get it for free, you were taken…I don't know.

      • Kb

once you see what you can get for free or super cheap, over time, I believe you will slowly lose the “brand loyalty”. You can't be too picky when couponing…..if you want to really save. Although I am VERY loyal to Ovaltine…..and will shell out a couple extra for that vs nesquick. Remember, this is a VERY slow cvs week…wait til you really get going!

        • Bryarsmom

Totally agree Kb-brand loyalty flew out the window when Q'ing invaded our lives.

But think of all the new products you get to try out!

          • Diane

I have been using all sorts of really expensive (but free) shampoo and conditioner. I miss Pantene!

      • Sean

Sounds to me like a fantastic deal. You are putting out just over $7 and getting 2 Colgate, 2 Tide, and an 8 pack of bounty. Then you will have 10 ECB for next week too. That's not being taken. That's CVSing.

      • Lonestar9

Sounds like you have a good deal to me. However, do you expect everything to be free?? I don't see how you were 'taken' if you paid a few dollars for some good merchandise.

      • Crafty_cat_86

Thanks so much to all! Yeah, I'm hoping to give up brand loyalties, but hubby and I are having a hard time with it. Soon enough, though! I'm excited to get my detergent for ~$2.50

there is a coupon for $1 off 2 on Charmin and $1 off 1 on bounty….on mycouponhunter.com it seems it is from a new p&g flier…

Does anybody know if I can give my $4/$20 that I receved in my e-mail to my mom to use it if it is gonna work or it is attached to my card?

      • Caritob40

I tried that before…and didn't work..same thing with the ECB

      • Freedomspradley1

It's attached to your card so you can't give someone else the $/$$ cvs coupons.

      • Bryarsmom

Nope-just like Rite Aid-it's linked to your card number.

You can also check out recyclebank for CVS Q's-you recycle things like old cell phones, pc's & you can get Q's from them. They even provide the postage to send 'em in!

        • Susan

It IS tied to your card at CVS but not at Rite Aid….their Up rewards will work with anyone's card, no matter which one earned it. I know from experience!

    • Tanya

I'm LOVIN' the ideas and scenarios! Helps to make it make sense for us newbies. thank you!

    • Amy L.

What is the Because of You home mailer? Where did that come from? How can I get one??

    • Wickhamlee

I got the $20 Rebate form for Olay Pro off the website. However, there are two links, one above the description and one below. The one above works the one below does not.

    • dltn_kmiller

I cannot make the quaker instant link work??? Any ideas

      • Ashley

i havent figured it out either…

      • Luci

The Quaker link has never worked for me either. BUT today in the mail from Walmart, I got my free sample of Quaker Banana Walnut Bread bar with a $1 Quaker Life Soft Baked Nutrition Bars and a $1 on any 1 box of Quaker Hearty Medleys.

        • Luci

PS I found the free sample on the Walmarts site under “In Stores Now” then Free “Samples & Savings”. It's not there now, just checked, but check back for different samples and possibly coupons too.

    • Niblet

Does anyone know if the $10 ECB wyb $25 P&G products bought this week can be combined with the $10 ECB wyb $25 P&G products next week? It looks like they are running the add back to back, and just wondering if I need to make another trip to finish up my $25 purchases this week, or if I can wait until next week and finish up then.

      • Freedomspradley1

It's a different deal this week including different products.

    • natalie

Can anyone suggest what is a good price for paper towel/ t.p.? Just getting started. Normally bought the store brand/cheapest on the shelf. Can't seem to get a good feel for what is a good price for name brand/buying in bulk!!!

      • Svnaa

anything less than 50c for a roll of 60 sheets paper towel or 300 sheets toilet paper is a good deal..

      • kidsallgone

Well I probably should pay better attention to the cost of those items, but I usually just go ahead and do the “deal” if I end up with no OOP and get ECBs in return. Yesterday I got 2 Charmin for $20.00 and the batteries for $6 and a pair of Halloween socks for $2.50. Equalled about $29. I used (2) .50 Charmins and .75 for batteries, $5 for Halloween, $4/20, $18 ECBs = tax only and got $10 ECBs back. My math may be off and my brain also; but I was happy with not paying OOP and getting $10 for next week.

    • Sherryberry7570

cvs has another $5 off halloween coupon printing out!!!!

      • Smepperson

Great! I got 2 light up pumpkins 2/$5 with the first one! I'm going to have get 2 more!

        • Ashley

I got a second one also and got a bag of 50 tea lights free! woot.

      • Amy

The cashier pointed out to me that candy counts with the coupon. I got 2 bags of candy (Twix and Kit Kat) for free!

        • Clarkwoman

phooey!! I was told I couldn’t buy candy with it so I got a candle this time instead. (last week I got 5 trick or treat bags for free.) :)

      • helpmesave

I’ve used 2 so far. Got 3 fat glowsticks, 2 prs glowstick earrings(for costumes), 1 pack Halloween tattoos and a pack of 40 glowsticks in assorted colors. My kids love the glowsticks and tattoos and it was all FREE! Yeah!!

    • Ashley

I dont see how the math works out on “my scenario”… is it just wrong or am i missing something?

      • Deb

It works. She owes $5.98 for the 2 Colgates plus $7.99 for the 2 Purex. Spending a total of $13.97. She gives 2 .75 Colgate cpns ($1.50), 2 $3 Purex cpns ($6), & $6 ECB. Paying a total of $13.50. $13.97 minus $13.50 is the 47 cents she owes. Then she gets the ECBs back as indicated.

        • Ashley

thanks… i missed the whole B1G1 part on the purex… oops.

    • Mmleininger

Has anyone tried a deal like the B1G1 Purex sheets using two Manf Qpns? I had some mixed results using coupons at CVS so I emailed customer service for their general coupon policy. According to the rules I received you can only use 1 Manf Qpn if you a getting a B1G1 deal. So I'm not sure the Purex deal listed here will work. I'd like to know if anyone has had any success getting their CVS to accept the 2 Manf Qpns before I try it!

      • rebecca

I got the B1G1 kids vitamins this week and used a coupon for each of them with no problem at all. Hope that helps!

      • Mlg Cmg

my CVS will take one coupon per item – so on a BIGI I give two coupons – last time I got 12 Purex 3-1 for .49 each – I am so happy to see the $3 coupon again even though I dont need any right now- don't tell my wife. she checks the supply closet every week or so and tells me what I am Banned on buying for a while – right now I am banned from buying any more deoderant and body wash. every now and then I give a big box of stuff to the local Battered Women's Shelter just for good carma.

        • Darla

LOL!!! Your wife sounds like my husband :) I am currently banned from buying toothpaste, toothbrushes, laundry detergent, toilet paper, deodorant, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The only exception is if it's a money maker. Like you… I'm going to try to sneak in a couple packs of the Purex 3 in 1 laundry sheets. I LOVE them!!!

        • I’m gonna end up buying the purex to donate along with some extra razors for men and women. It was less than a year ago my mom and I were really close to homeless and being on that side I start to see stuff like this can be helpful to donate.

      • If you’re like me you could always check the price of one to see if it rings up half price..if it does then you can use 2..but I think you can anyways, since other people are saying so and they’ve had more experience.

    • Garciagm

I'm sure this has already been answered somewhere but I don't know how to search for it…when I use a $5 off $30 CVS coupon, is that $30 *before* tax or *after* tax? Does anyone know? Thanks!!

      • Luci

        Before tax and before coupons.

        • Garciagm

          Thanks Katkoupon, Kristen and Luci!!!

      • Kristen

        Before tax

      • Katkoupon

Before tax and coupons…just make sure to give the cashier the $5/$30 coupon first, before any other coupons. Also, at my store, the tax is calculated on the total amt, prior to any coupons. hth

      • Godot

If you live in Texas, it is after tax.

The max sales tax rate statewide is 8.25%. The state takes its cut, then leaves it up to the counties/cities to add on their share — up to .0825. Of course, all the urban centers (the places that will be home to most CVS's) charge the max, however, some of the smaller bedroom communities across a county line might be less (say perhaps 7.25% — just a guess).

In any event, here is an example of what this means — Let's say you have a $4/$20. When you walk up to the counter, you need only $18.48 in actual product and merchandise to be able to use that coupon. Call it $18.50 to be safe (for a total with tax of $20.03 rounding up).

From reading what others wrote, this appears to be unique to us. I cannot account for that, but it does come in handy.

    • Qponklink

The CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine has coupons for 1.00 off any Irish Spring body wash 15 – 18 oz and also one for 1.00 off Soft Soap body wash 15 – 18 oz.

    • Rstorey5

I have 2 CVS cards and scan both of them under the scanner. I got 2 of the $5 off halloween items. My family and I do a grave yard each year. My local store had the face mask for $4.99 each. Found 2 I wanted and took to cashier. Asked if I could use $5 off of $4.99. She said sure but do u mind if I adjust the price to 4.99. Ofcourse I dont. My total was 0 for $10 dollars worth of mask. I love my local CVS on Zebulon Road. They are awesome with coupons and patient. Which means the world to me since I go in typically stocked up with them.

      • Mandi

Wow! I'm surprised they actually support your having 2 cards. My CVS girls made it clear to me at the very beginning that they cannot stand people doing stuff like that…

        • Tjbyrd36

Mandi you should let the manager know what those girls told you. As a CVS manager, we love all the sales we can get and personally, I love watching you crazy couponers save all that money! You guys (at least at my store) are also very patient with us. The transactions take a lot longer than normal and ya'll will let the next customer in line go when you have multiple transactions. Or the cashier should call for back up!

Mandi, you should try another CVS!

          • Mandi

Seriously? I never looked at it that way. I ALWAYS go to the back of the line if I have more than 2 transactions and someone is behind me. :-) That is good to know.

      • di

oh i thought u could only have 1 card per house hold.

        • Zarate06

One per adult. =) She probably has a husband.

        • Guest

I called the CVS coporate. They recommend 1 card per household. the lady said “we can't keep anyone from having 2 per household, but we recommend 1 per household.

    • GingerT

I am new to this and need some help!

      I have $7.99 EBC and I need the Charmin 16pk. $9.99.

I would also like to get the $2.99 ECB WYB Colgate Total Advanced or Enamel Strength toothpaste 4oz $2.99 Limit 2 and $4 ECB WYB $10 any Revlon Cosmetics Limit 1 and $2 ECB WYB Family Size Aussie, Pantene, Herbal Essences or Head & Shoulders $6.49 Limit 1.

I would be willing to buy more if it meant saving more money. I am new to this and I don't understand how to plan the transactions. Plus, my ECBs are a large number and I can't figure out how to not lose any ECBs.

      Thanks guys!!!

      • Alyssa

        Hi Ginger…

I hope I can help you here. I don't know what coupons you have for these products so I am going to do my best. If it were me I would probably do three transactions

        Colgate Toothpaste 2.99 (- .75 Q)

        Colgate Toothpaste 2.99 (-.75 Q)

Herbal Essences 6.49 (- what ever Q you have)

Use 7.99 EBC (it should be around $3.00 OOP)

you should get back 8.00 in EBC (2.99/ 2.99/ 2.00)

        Transaction 2

        Revlon Deal 10.00

(If you do the deal she had use 6.00EBC 1.00 OOP Get back 4.00)

        EBC Remaining 6.00

        Transaction 3

        Charmin 9.99

        Use 6.00 EBC

Total OOP – around $8.00 depending on the Q's you have.

I would definately do the charmin last since it is not going to give you anything back.

        • GingerT

Thank you so much Alyssa! This is so much help. I hope I can learn to figure out these transactions soon without taking other people’s time, but I do appreciate you!

    • maharlika

I just would like to thank Jeanie for everything she does for us .

    • Sean

There are -$1 coupons in the Fall 2010 Diabetes and You magazine. You can usually find it in the pharmacy waiting area. While the coupon reads redeemable at Walgreens on one side of the coupon, the fine print reads redeemable at Food, Drug, Discount and other Stores accepting coupons. So, you should be able to use them at CVS without issue.

    • ATay

So, I have to share my exciting news! You remember the Schick Hydro rebate from this summer? Well I got a letter today with a Prepaid rewards card for $20 to participate in a survey for that rebate program! How absolutely cool! Not only did I get the razor for free with that rebate, but now I get an additional $20! Amazing! I love couponing. Thanks Jenny for changing my life!

      • Did they send you the card before you took the survey?

      • Holly

Awesome!! I did the rebate, too! I hope they send me the survey!! :-)

    • CVSmama

OK so Im very irritated that the $2/2 coupon link is still being posted for this new ad. Its not a valid link. . Someone please remove it or tell me how to find the right link! This is the messageIm getting:

      Invalid link.

The link you clicked to print this coupon was not valid. Please contact the site where the link was found for help.

      • Jrenee

Not to be ugly here, but you are getting this coupon/best price list as a FREE service. Should you really complain about something you didn't pay for? It's not the end of the world to have one wrong link…

        • guest

I agreed with you 100 % . We should appreciated what Jenny did for us .Even some time the link doesn’t work go find something else or do not buy this deal .

    • I cant get the revlon $2/2 coupon to show up- keeps saying incorrect link. Anyone have the correct link? Thanks so much!! :)

    • Jacknbeck

How do you get the Reinventing Beauty Magazine. I can't find it at my store

      • Darla

If your store has it in stock, it's usually in the magazine are underneath the checkout counter in the pharmacy. I picked up my first copy ever at CVS the other day and it was the last one they had. Prior to that I emailed CVS customer service online and asked them to contact my store and ship them these magazines because several shoppers wished to purchase them. Maybe this is why they had them in stock a couple weeks later? Try emailing CVS and see if that helps.

    • ChristyMy

Does anyone have a copy of the Aveeno rebate form for the rebate that was going on at the end of June? It had to do with purchasing $25 worth of product and receiving a $10 rebate. I had purchased over $25 worth of shampoo and conditioner at CVS but I just received a letter today saying I didn't purchase enough. I was just wondering if it actually said on the rebate form that the $25 had to be AFTER coupons (I did use coupons and that is the only thing that I can think of that would have made them reject me). I know now to make copies of everything before I send it! Thanks! :)

      • Zjqtcj

The rebate form clearly says “$25.00 worth of AVEENO product in a single purchase between 6/14/10-7/18/10. Purchase excleds tax, trial sizes, and ageless vitality products”. No mention about coupons at all. I have not receive my rebate or a letter yet. There is no phone number listed in the rebate form that we can call. If there is a phone number that is listed in the letter you got, could you please share with me? I'm going to call them to find out my rebate.

Honously, next time I guess I will skip such rebate if no phone number is provided since it is very possible that they will not send you the rebate check either purposely or accidentally. I have had many times that I had to make phone calls to get the rebates. It's too tricky and you can have too many reasons to not get the rebate and nowhere to find out how to get it back…..

        • ChristyMy

Thank you! I guess I'm going to have to start being more selective too about which rebates I do. There isn't a phone number on my letter either but there is an address. It's probably the same on that's on the rebate form but, just in case, it's
          P.O. Box 439
          Telford, PA 18969-0439
I guess if all else fails, there's always snail mail. Thanks again for your reply and I hope you are one of the lucky ones to actually get a check!

      • 3monkeysmom

I got a rejection letter too :-( But mine said I didn't make the purchase between the qualifying dates but I know that I did!! No phone # on the letter to call and dispute. I tried the link to the rebate form so I could find a phone # and it just took me to a page that said the rebate was over.

Are they making up reasons to deny people???

      • 3monkeysmom

I tried contacting them by email to find out who we need to call about this but I can't submit it b/c it won't accept my birthday on the form. It says “you have to be at least 13 to use this function of the website.” I'm 31.

        Getting really frustrated now :(

      • 3monkeysmom

I found an email address on their facebook page that specifically deals with rebates. Apparently this is happening to alot of people.

        • ChristyMy

Thanks! I'll give it a try. I kind of wonder if they are making up reasons because maybe they got a whole lot more submitted than they were expecting. :) I hope that you can get your rebate situation sorted out.
Did you, by any chance, do the Neutrogena rebate back in July for the free Clinical kit? I haven't seen that rebate check yet either and it's making me a little nervous. I read somewhere (either here or on one of the iheart websites) that that rebate is probably going to be messed up too. Grrr…Anyway, thanks for replying! I need all the help I can get!

          • Darla

Christy, I got my rebate check for the Neutrogena rebate but they deducted all the discounts I used such as $5 off $25 purchase. Plus, I bought other items and used coupons. They deducted those as well. I got my rebate within 2 weeks and called the number shown on the letter that came with the check. They wouldn't do anything so I filed a complaint with the FTC and the BBB. I got the balance of my rebate in one week. I've become very cautious with rebates for all brands this company sells. Plus I have to be prepared to put time and effort into getting what's owed to. No problems with any other rebates – just this parent company. Always keep copies of the completed rebate form, the receipt and the bar code. It will come in handy. One last thing… when I submit a rebate, I put a sticky note on the form that reads “the $3 off coupon was for your product. The remaining coupons have nothing to do with your product. It was for other items purchased. Plus here lately I list +UP Rewards as “cash earned from a previous purchase of a product that did not come from your company”. This seems to help as I'm getting my full purchase price back now. Hope this helps you.

            • Anonymous

Sorry to take so long to reply back. Thanks for the tips! I will definitely give them a try. Glad you got your full rebate in the end!

          • Lisa

I did get my Neutrogena rebate (minus the $5 coupon I used) but I haven't gotten the Aveeno rebate. If my kids hadn't already used some of it, I think I would take it back. I don't plan on dealing with that company again.

          • 3monkeysmom

Either that or the employees in their rebate dept are completely inept :( Either way, they need to straighten it out. Especially when we followed THEIR terms.

I didn't do the Neutrogena rebate. I hope it works out for you.

From now, I will definitely be making copies of everything I mail out!! When I first started doing rebates, I did. But I never had any trouble getting them back so I just stopped making copies. REGRET that big-time now :( I did pull up my bank statement and I made that purchase on 6/30, but they probably won't accept that as proof. Hopefully they'll respond to my email soon :) Good luck with yours!!

            • Jennifer

You can also call 1-866-428-3366 – this has been happening to a lot of people. The rebate center messed up in sending letters apparently.

      • tmdavis

You are correct, but it was supposed to be on one purchase.

        • beck

The same thing happened to me. I didn't even see that it had to be in one purchase. I did see that on their newest rebate form though, so I 'm sure it was on the other one and I just missed it. So bummed out. Let me know if anyone has any luck getting Aveeno to send the rebate anyway.

      • kristi

Christy, I think I have what you are looking for. $10 rebate WYB $25 of aveeno products in a single purchase between 6/14/10 – 7/18/10. You can email me your information and I’ll send it to you. kbscoupons10@gmail.com

      • Kristi

Christy, I have a copy of the rebate. It does not mention anything about using q's. It only says that it must be done in one purchase.

      • Jennifer

I received the same letter and called and they said that the rebate center was having issues and that they were working them out. She said for three says those were the only calls she got! I was giving an order number and gave them my address.

      • Jennifer

        I called 1-866-428-3366

    • Angie

What does it mean to have a filler item and why would you need one??

      • Alyssa

A filler item is something small a pencil, piece of candy something like that…. You need it because sometimes your transaction might be 6.78 and your EBC is for 7.00. it is just enought to get you to where you need to be without alot out of pocket.

    • jhh

After the frustration about the Rite Aid candy deal (the mistery UP stop printing this afternoon in CA), I want to CVS to see if I can score another $5 off holloween coupon. And guess what?? I got (7) $4off 20 coupons at the red coupon machine!!! It only printed this coupon for me today. The first time I got it today I was very surprised, and waited for 5 minutes to give it another try. It printed this coupon again!! And every 5 minutes it just printed another $4 off 20 coupon for me.

After getting 4 coupons in one CVS (I never got more than two printings in a day), I left and decided to stop by another CVS before going home. I thought I wouldnt get any more $4 off 20 coupon but I was wrong! The machine printed one for me again! So I got another 3 in the second CVS. I believed it would keep printing as long as I stay in CVS!!

      • Wow, that almost makes me want to get out of my pajamas & make a quick CVS run to see if it will work for me! I'm sorry you missed out on the RiteAid deal! :-( We don't have Rite-Aid here in FL, but it sounded like an awesome deal! Thanks for the info.

      • Ginger

Oh my gosh, I just posted this same thing! I got 5 yesterday before it stopped printing for me, and I'm also in CA. I wonder if it's a CA glitch? (I got mine at a CVS on Ventura in the San Fernando Valley. You?)

BUT, a word of advice for you: Check the numbers on the coupons! I compared mine, and two of the coupons had the exact same number, so I'd assume I can only use one of them. Hope yours don't have any duplicates!

        • jhh

I live in San Jose area. Actually this is the luckiest thing I got from CVS so far (knock the wood!!) Usually I dont have the luck to get good coupons at the red coupon machine.

I just checked all the coupons and they have different numbers. Hopefully everyone can get more than ONE $4 off 20 coupon this week!!

          • Ginger

Awesome luck! After my experience, I just sent a friend to CVS to get hers, and she didn't get ANY of the 4 off 20. The best she got was the 5$ Halloween Q, and then she got a bunch of little ones that were the same as I got earlier in the week. I wonder if it has to do with how many times in the week you hit the magic coupon machine? I'm going back today to see if I can get another 5$ Halloween– will let you know if lightning stikes again with the 4 off 20s. :)

    • Definitely a slow week compared to the last few, but I'm psyched about those Purex 3-in-1 laundry sheets. I got them a couple of months ago (on the last good CVS deal) and thought I would hate them (I am very picky about my laundry), and instead I think they are amazing! Stains come out with no problems (and with a 1 & 4 year old, we get a lot of stains), and it is so EASY! No messing with pouring in the detergent and then the fabric softener. It just goes to show that trying new products because of coupons can be a very good thing!

    • Gabriela

does anybody know if cvs doubles 25c coupons?

      • Maria

CVS doesnt double anything to my knowledge

    • Elaine

For those asking about the Quaker Oatmeal coupons, follow the link to their facebook page and it will send you to a $2 coupon at Redplum!

      • Packofwises

        Thank you!

    • Fallaya

Do expired CVS coupons beep (the coupons from the red kiosks)? I want to use a Colgate coupon that expired on 10/04…thank you.

    • Fallaya

This is the scenario I'm planning for Sunday:

      Quaker Oatmeal x 2 $5.00
      Dawn dish soap x 3 $2.91
      Colgate x 2 $5.98
      Chips Ahoy small boxes x 2 $2
      (scan green bag tag)

      Total due: $15.98

      – 2 oatmeal coupon x 2
      -1 dawn dish soap coupon x 3
      -1 Colgate manu coupon
      -1 Colgate CVS coupon
      -1 Nabisco coupon
      -5 EBC from last week

      Total oop: .89

      Will receive 7.98 in EBC's! (2.99, 2.99, 2, 1 from green bag tag)

      • Fallaya

oops I think that should be $8.98

    • di

on the Purex Ultra Concentrate Laundry Detergent or 3-in-1 Sheets B1G1 at 7.99 she has buy 2 use 2 q @ 3.00 each = 99 i think she meant to say 1.99 or am i just seeing things

      • di

oh i see duh .99 each sorry i need to read a little better sorry

      • Gabriela

She was right. You have to buy the first item to get the second free. If you substract 3 off coupon twice, you will have 1.99 left. If you divide by 2 you will see 99c per detergent. :-) Hope it helps!

    • Gabriela

does anybody know if I buy 2 oatmeal product would I get 4ecb? Or it has to be in different transactions?

      • Zarate06

Doesn't have to be separate transactions at CVS. But, you would have to buy 4 products since it's 2 ECB's wyb 2 Oatmeals.

        • Gabriela

          Great! Thanks!

    • Gabriela

does anybody know if cvs accept expired 4off purchase of 20.00 coupons?

      • guest

        Mine has. It's worth asking.

      • Clarkwoman

my store told me that they will accept them “if they aren't more than a couple of weeks expired” LOL

    • Gabriela

$2 ECB WYB (2) Quaker Products at $2.50 Limit 2

What does the limit means? I'm a little confused because I want to buy 4 packs of oat meal hoping I would get 4ECB back…..

the limit 2 means I can only buy 2 oat meal products?

      • Jbush27

You can do that. You get $2 wyb 2 and it says you can do it twice, so if you get 4 you will get back $4 ecb's.

    • Couponmom9876

The Got 2 B campain is over :-(

    • Sshoulders

This has nothing to do with this weeks ad, but has anyone received their neutrogena clinical rebate offered in July? I haven't and gonna call Monday. Just curious if this is only my problem or if anyone else has not received theirs.

      • Val

I haven't received mine yet either.

        • Ginger

          Me either.

      • Vwbug215

I haven't received mine either… starting to get worried bc I have heard other people were getting theirs a few weeks ago

      • Couponjems

        i haven't received mine either.

      • Mandy

No, and I called the customer service center & they said that the rebate center does not have a direct phone number. That they would have to submit the request for a call back. And, of course, I never heard back :(

      • Htk10210

I did 2 rebates one to my house and one to my parents, I got mine and the one I sent to my parents hasn't arrived yet. Good to know others haven't received theirs yet either.

      • Amyinatlanta

I have not gotten mine yet either…..and it is now past due. I am sad about this — I would not have bought it without the rebate!

      • Donna

Got mine the first week of Sept. They subtracted the ecbs that I paid with and sent me 7.99 instead of 34.99. Called and e-mailed the co. and they r supposed to send me the difference. They got a lot of flack about it. I would definitely contact them, u should have got your rebate by now.

        • guest

I got my rebate today and it was for only $4.00! Can you give me the number to call them?

          • Donna

The number I called was 800-582-4048. I think it was neutrogena clinical.com or maybe neutrogena.com that had a place at the bottom of the website where u could e-mail them. I got a check today too, it was for the difference that they owed me. Yayyyy Hope u get yours…

    • Ginger

OMG everyone! Yesterday I went to CVS to use my 5.00 Halloween Q. I went to a different store than I usually go. Went to the magic coupon machine, scanned, and got 1 coupon, for 4 off 20 purch. Woo-hoo, I though, now gonna get the others that come out. Scanned again, got another 4 off 20. Figured I'd scan again and get the “no coupons available” message, but instead, got another 4 off 20. Decided not to press my luck and started shopping, but had to pass back by to get to Revlon, so I scanned again. Another 4 off 20. Scanned again. ANOTHER 4 off 20. Scanned again, and finally hit the “no coupons available.”

So, altogether, I got FIVE 4$ off 20$. (After I looked at them all, I realized two of them have the same number, so I have to assume that I probably can't use both, but still.) What the heck? Has anyone ever heard of anyone getting that many?!?

      • jhh

I got (7) $4 off 20 coupons yesterday. All of them have different numbers. Hopefully my CVS stores take expired coupons because it's gonna take me quite a long time to use those coupons!

BTW, I got another $5 off holloween coupons again. This is the third one in this week!

        • guest

me too , coupon center gave me the 3rd $ 5 of halloween purch

      • guest

I also got 6 coupons for $5 off $ 25 purch . Some time it printed out 1 or 2 a day when I scan my card .

      • Rachel

        So jealous! Congrats!!!

    • Ashley

how do i know if the deals start on saturday at my cvs? Or do they start on sat at all cvs? thx.

      • Mandy

Usually it's only the regular hr stores (not the 24 hrs stores), and it varies when they start the deals. Some start as early as 3:00p on Sat, others later. They will usually already have the Sunday tags up, that's how you can tell. Or, if your CVS closes at 10:00, go in around 9:00p. Usually everything is up, and rolled over near closing time.

      • Ginger

You can ask, or you can just try it and see. At one of my stores, they knew that the deals started on Saturday night, at the other, they had no clue, until the cashier saw me do a deal that included both the current week and the upcoming week.

In some parts of the country, they say that the 24-hour stores don't start the deals on Saturday, but where I am, they do.

        • HockeytownGA

All the times very for stores. Some I go to start Friday at 1 pm. The way to check is price scan an item.

    • Clarkwoman

I just had the best CVS run EVER!!! I got 2 AZO, 2 colgate total toothpastes, 1 8ct wisp, 1 revlon lipstick, 1 revlon nail polish, a fall candle and a vaseline sheer fusion lotion. total oop was $3.64 and total saved was $58.09 AND I still have $12.50 in ECB's! If you have a $7 off $15 Revlon prited coupon AND the buy a lipstick, get a nail polish free this is the perfect week to use them. I also used a peelie that was on the lipstick and I got $4 ECB's back! That made it all a money maker!!

      • Clarkwoman

I forgot to add a pack of gum that needed to be added to use my first ECB. I guess if I had planned a little better I may not have needed to do that but oh well.

        • Amt1218

          I bought 4 nail polishs.

          and 1 Azo

          Used Revlon $7.00 off $15.00

Used the store coupon mailed to me for $4.00 off $20.00

Used $2.00 coupon for the Azo

for a total of $9.95 Used $8 in ECBs

Got back $12.00 for the nail polishes

          and $6.99 for the Azo

Turns out I actually made $7.04 profit on the nail polish! I got lucky on this one!! So excited it worked out! :)

With all my CVS purchases this week.. I started with $30. in ECB's and ended with $35. in ECBs. I ended up spending a total of $4 and something OOP. Things are finally starting to click! THANKS to Southern Saver! I tell EVERYONE about this website.. it is by far my favorite!!

          • helpmesave

You are so lucky! I tried to buy 4 nail polishes and some other things and they would not let me use $4/20 and $7/15 Revlon. After much scrutinizing of how I should rearrange my purchases to get the best deal the manager ended up taking off the nail polish but leaving the $4/20. I wasn't over $20 anymore. Then they rang up the nail polish separate and let me use the $7/15. In the end I got a slightly better deal by doing 2 transactions, but technically shouldn't have been able to use the $4/20. I don't know why they didn't push the Revlon Q thru. They still gave me both Q's and I didn't change anything:)

      • Marina115

Is AZO on sale? I didn't see it listed. Thanks

    • Ginger

Is the Coupon Center that Jenny refers to the same thing as the magic coupon machine?

Also, does anyone know, if I were to buy 3 of the Revlon polishes on Saturday night, would they generate the 3$ nail polish ECBS as well as the 4$ when you buy 10$ Revlon Cosmetic?

      • R Lester7901

No, it want. You can get Sunday's sale prices on Saturday but ECB will not start printing until Sunday.

      • Amy

No, the computer will automatically give you whichever deal it thinks it better. Bummer, huh?

    • Melissa

I cannot find the $3 off Purex 3-in-1 coupon anywhere! Can someone help me?

      • Ginger

        I believe that's in tomorrow's coupon inserts.

      • Simplysettled199

im having the same problem, i havent seen a revlon nail polish coupon anywhere!!!!

      • guest

this is the insert from RP 10/10

      • Shannon R.

I do not have this purex or revlon coupon either. perhaps they are regional coupons?

      • Mrg1205

so frustrated too!! I don't have either and I got my husband to buy me two papers for the purex deal… ahhh what a waste!

      • emily

ugh i had the same issue!! & i bought 4 newspapers today just to get the purex coupons! :( should have checked before i bought all 4. sad day.

    • kcreviews

It's late in the night, I know, but the deal I got is worth shouting about and maybe some of you late nighters can go to CVS and get PAID to buy things!

I went earlier this evening to shop part of tomorrow's ad. When I went to do the Revlon deal, I noticed that the nail polish (from this week's ad, I guess, but I missed it until now) was $3.99 with $3 ECB making them $.99 each LIMIT 6! I had already gotten a $7/15 Revlon purchase from the red machine which expires today, so I got 4 nail polishes and a Colgate Total Enamel toothpaste (from tomorrow's ad on sale for $2.99) for $11.72 with a $12 ECB and a $2.99 ECB back! I MADE $3.27 on my purchase! That's what I call CVS paying me to shop! So excited!

    • Ferdy0329

I dont see the get a free finger nail polish (revlon) coupon in the SS 9/12… can someone help me please!

      • Fallaya

It's what is known as a regional coupon. The coupon was available in select areas of the country.

    • gardengirl

I need some advice….for the clariten deal, I have a $3.00/1 clariten q that CVS mailed me, I also have 2 – 4.00/1 claritin q's from the red machine (with different numbers) and I have a mfg q for claritin. I know that I can use the mfg q, but I'm not sure if I can use the q they mailed me and the q's from the red machine or do I just use one of the q's from CVS? I'm thinking that I can just use one store q but I'm not sure. Thanks!

      • kidsallgone

I'm thinking that you can either use the $3/1 or the $4/1, along w/a man. coupon.

If you have a $/$$ coupon, I would also use that one ($3 or $10, etc).

As far as I know and have had experience with, you can only use 1 q from cvs (along w/their $/$$) and a man. q. HTH

        • gardengirl

Thanks! I do have a $5/$30 that I forgot about (it expires tomorrow)…thanks for saving me $5 more!

    • Simplysettled199

so today was my first trip to CVS to start my new adventures in savings since i have never used my ECB or shopped for extreme values until a friend introduced me to Southern Savers….so i started off by scanning my extra care card and one my husband used to have and ended up w/ 2 $5 off Halloween decor/costumes so I bought 2 softsoap foaming soap dispensers for $3.29 each, 2/.99 cent halloween treat bags for my niece/nephew, and a .99 cent basket for a total of $9.60 and they let me use both $5 off coupons so all that was free. Then I used 2/$1off Garnier shampoo/cond and got 1 of each for a total of $4, then I used a $1 ECB I had to get Gain dish liquid for .57cent (was $1.57) and also used 2/$2off Secret deoderant which was on sale for 2/$5 so i got 2 for $1! I also got the $5 ECB for the AZO…that was fun! cant wait til have some more ECB to use & my goal is to get to a point tha I pay little to nothing for anything from CVS!!!

      • ssh

That is a fun game. I love it when I get a whole bunch of CVS store coupons from the coupon machine. It is fun to see what stuff I can get for free without even using any ECBs- a lot of the time they include the travel size items. Last week I figured out that I could use the cold relief one on cough drops (I'm sure the veteran CVSers already knew this). I had been thinking it had to be cold medicine, but the cough drops worked fine. Fun stuff.

    • kidsallgone

Went to my favorite CVS today and the red machine was really good to me :)

      This is what I bought:

      2 boxes of oatmeal = $5

      2 Dial body wash = $8

      2 Colgate toothepaste = $6

      1 bag Halloween candy corn = $1

      Total $20

      $5 off $20

      $5 off Halloween item(s)

      $2 X 2 = $4 oatmeal

      $1 x 2 = $2 Colgate

      $1/2 Dial

$2 off body wash CVS q

      Total q's = $19

      Paid OOP = $1 + tax

      ECB's that printed on receipt:

      $2.99 X 2 = $6 (rounded up)

      $2 Oatmeal

      $2 Colgate

      Total ECBs = $10

      • Chasityc1984

How did you get the $5 off $20 coupon???

    • kcreviews

Thanks again, Jenny, for your wonderful site.

I love it when stores give us things for “free” after ECBs or what have you. My son's sophomore class is collecting items for military men and guess what was on the list? Toothpaste. I have about 8 of them in my cabinet right now that I've gotten free, and am so glad I finally have something worthwhile to donate to!

    • $avin'some$

do you all know if cvs takes coupons for free items?

      • Blink_11

        yes, they should.

        • $avin'some$

          thanks, blink!

      • macboy

and if you're talking about the Advil or Cottonelle samples, I'd wait to see if the drug stores do an ECB or RR sale with them to make a profit!

    • Sam

what is cvs coupon red book, could anyone please help?thanks

      • Queennana0725

Sam, it is actually “red box”. It is a coupon machine/price checker that is in the front of most CVS stores. It is red.

        • Sam

          thank you

    • kristi

Does anyone know where the tide q is in good housekeeping (oct)? I have looked thru both (prescription and store bought) issues and can not find it. thanks!

      • It is in mine. Hard-paper insert between pages 38 & 39.

    • Benjamin

$1.00/1 Colgate in this week's paper for me!

    • Amyrdh

They have candy corn for free after coupon that prints at the kiosk. Also, I got a $5 of $15 at the kiosk that they let me use @ Publix!

    • Ckfourth

Can anyone help me? When I print any printable coupons they only print halfway, making them unusable. I don't know why? Any ideas? I would be so appreciative. Thanks everyone, and happy couponing!

      • kidsallgone

Sounds like an issue with your printer.

Whenever things mess up for me, I shut down my computer and my printer and then turn both on again. Good luck.

    • Stef

Here was my Deal Scenario today. I think I made out like a bandit…

      2 Quaker Oatmeal = $5
      1 Brachs Candy Corn = $.99
      6 Renuzit Air Freshner = .88*6 = $5.28
      2 Purex 3 in 1 = $9.19 BOGO
      2 Gain Liquid Dish Soap = $1.57*2 = $3.14

      -4 (2) Quaker Coupons
      -2.64 = Buy 3 Get 3 Free Renuzit Coupon
      -2 (2) = Gain Liquid Dish Soap
-.99 = Candy Corn from the Magic Box
      -3 = Purex Coupon

-5 Halloween Stuff (For me as long as I bought SOMETHING Halloween it took off the full $5 even if the item was only .99 :)
      -4 off $20

      -4 EB
TOTAL OOP $.07 WHOOT WHOOT $2 EB from Quaker to use next week

      • Samples

that means we can use $5 halloween coupon on candy corn too? m a newbie pls help!

        • Stef

Yeah, it worked for me at least. I got the $5 off coupon yesterday and it expired today. Apparently at my CVS as long as I bought SOMETHING Halloween/Fall related the FULL $5 came off my bill saving me money on all the other things I purchased.

I am fairly new at the coupon game too and sometimes it takes just trying a coupon to see if it will work. It's amazing how much stuff I have gotten at CVS over the past several months!! :) YAY

        • Subohfam

I'm in Fl. n I tried 2 different times and it would not go thru 4 me.. The cashier's were so wonderful and tired. Not sure but you can always ask.

        • Lisa

I tried it for candy and it wouldn't go thru. and I also bought something for 4.99 and the cashier wouldn't push it thru either. I wasn't too surprised, I don't really like my local CVS. It's only about 2-3 miles from my house, but they are kinda picky about coupons and are always out of the deals. I know you can get a raincheck but if you have 2 or 3 scenerios planned and the stuff for the 1st is gone, you end of with more oop. So, I usually drive 15 miles to another one that usually has everything and they are much nicer towards couponers :)

    • Kristen

I am new to doing CVS…I went and bought 2 toothpaste today and would like to go back tomorrow to buy 2 more to get the Extra Care Bucks…it says limit 2…does that mean limit 2 per card? Or limit 2 per day?

      • Guest

        Two per card.

    • Amy J.

Had a nice CVS trip today….wish i'd have planned a scenario w/out one of the coupons since the register beeped and would not take it (item was on clearance for 27cents but had a $1.50 off coupon…..oh, well, I still did good!)…….

2 Colgate, 2 Purex 3-in-1 sheets, 2 Quaker oatmeal, 2 NeilMed saline nasal drops 15 pack (regular $10.99, clearanced for 27cents each), 2 Dawn hand renewal, 1 Dawn ultra, 2 gain dish soap……

Q's used: two $1 colgate, two $3 purex, two $2 quaker, two 50cents dawn hand renewal, one 25cents dawn ultra, two $1 gain dish soap……and used $7.99 ECB.

total before sales, taxes and coupons $62.37…..total OOP before tax $1.96, with tax $3.04! I got back $7.98 in ECB……I'm a happy camper :-)

      • Valeriems1

Hi, how much is the gain dish soap? Thanks

        • Amy J.

at one of my CVS stores, it is $1.39 (where i went today), but at the other one it is $1.59……only about 20 minutes from each other so i'm surprised at the price difference…..it will vary by store and location. HTH!

    • Donna

Thanks Jenny!! I had a good CVS trip today – you're right, a little slow week for what I was looking for, but some good buys still.

      I got:
2 Quaker instant oatmeals (used 2 $2/1 printable coupons from your other post)
3 Dawn dish liquid bottles (used 3 $0.25/1 coupons)
1 Garnier Herbashine color (used 1 $3/1 coupon)
1 Colgate Total Enamel toothpaste (used $0.75/1 coupon)
1 Mentos as a filler (should have gone back & gotten another Dawn!! Oops. lol)
      – $10 ECB from previous weeks

      total due = negative .62 + $0.98 taxes = $0.36 OOP and got $4.99 ECB

total retail value = $28.55! Woo hoo!! :)

    • Ashley Gatewood

CVS trip this am was pretty good…I bought one thing that wasn't on sale and no coupon. This is what I did…
      1 Gain
      1 Bounty
      1 Charmin
      1 Bounce
      1 excedrin (not on sale)
      Used :
      $9 ECB
      $5 off $15
Coupon for free Gain that I received from the manufacture
      .25 cents off Bounty
      .25 cents off Charmin
      $2.50 off Bounce
Total oop was $12.86 w/ tax. Got back $11 ECB ($10 for P&G and $1 for Green bag tag)
I plan to go back on Friday to pick up the toothpaste and a couple other items I missed.

    • Sam

is john freida root awakening in the ecb deal?

    • Rbarbrey

Stopped into CVS this morning to pick up some really cheap Dawn dish soap and left with $97 worth of merchandise for $7.47. As I walked in I was greeted with Hey check out our 90% sale…did not need any arm twisting for that!! I got 4 packs of socks, 4 large boxes of Rice Krispie Treats, tons of candy, rubbermaid containers, air freshners, candles…you get the idea. I felt like a stalker following the girl around but it was fun!! And my kids had a ball going through all the bags!!

    • Calistapatt

We don't get Red Plum where I live….so sad :o(

      • debi

you can buy the inserts on ebay. I have before

    • Eidiamonddot1

I'm so sad!! I bought extra papers without skimming through the red plum. No Purex coupons for me.. I love the 3-in-1's.. They are awesome… Good thing it was a guy selling the papers for .99 on the side of the road. I guess it wasn't a total loss since there were 3 ads in today's paper.

      • aville

        No Purex here either. BOO.

    • jrun

Here's my deals for the day.

      2 Total toothpaste

      1 Aim toothpaste

      1 Dawn Hand Renewal Soap

      2 Purex 3 in 1

      2 Boxes Quaker Oatmeal

      (2) $1 off Colgate

      $1 off Dawn Dish soap

      (2) $3 off Purex

      (2) $2 off Quaker oatmeal

$2 off $6 worth of toothpaste (cvs red machine printable)

$3.50 ecb (printed from red machine for summer savings..??..)

      =$2.46 + 8ecb printed

Both times I scanned my card I got the free candy corn coupons, but my store was all out:( I was bummed b/c we go through like a bag a day in my house!

    • guest

help i have a 4 off 20 expiring today…i have $8 ecbs to roll as well. Any suggestions?

      • Ashleyw81

The colgate toothpaste is a great deal, and I like the method laundry detergent. Both generate a good amount of ECBs. Why not try something like this:

        2 Colgate @ $2.99 each = $5.98

use 2 $1 off coupons from today's RP

        Method detergent @ $8.99

        Purex 3 in 1 sheets B1G1 @ $7.99

use 2 $3 off coupons from today's RP

This brings your before coupon total to $22.96.

        minus $4 off $20 coupon

        minus $3 Purex coupon

        minus $3 Purex coupon

        minus $1 Colgate coupon

        minus $1 Colgate coupon

        minus $8 in ECBs

Total is $2.96 (plus tax, of course) out of pocket and you will get $5.98 in ECBs for the Colgate and $5 for the Method wash, so a total of $10.98 in ECBs. Hope this helps!

So total before coupons would be

        • Ashleyw81

BTW, I have no idea why I typed that last line “So total before coupons would be”….not sure WHERE that came from? I guess it's b/c I was typing and watching TV and not concentrating. Wow…so random. I don't even remember typing that!

        • guest

      • DonnaTN

You can usually use it if its expired up to a week, ask your store to see what their policy is.

    • Is there a way to make the red coupon center generate that colgate coupon? Is it based on stuff i've bought in the past?
I'm starting to do CVS but never really shopped there before, walgreens has always been my place because we used to fill meds there.

      • Ginger

I don't think you caqn make it print anything. It seems like, most people all get the same “standard” coupons, like 1.00 off Aussie or .99 off candy corn, or the 5$ off Halloween from last week. It seems to be when you go in several times in a week, that's when people start getting lots of different random coupons. Like, I've gotten (6) 4 off 20s in the past week, when my friend who has been in fewer times has gotten exactly 0 of them. No colgate coupon for me, though.

        • Ahh ok! I thought maybe it was because of my lack of shopping there but i'll start going in even if it's just to scan the machine. My local cvs was so nice to me this morning and I look forward to going back.

          • Ginger

Good luck, I hope you get good coupons! I should point out, I have no real proof about why some people get better coupons than others– that's just my own little theory.

          • M_bruere

I go in a few times a week and never get th $$ off coupons anymore. I got maybe 4 back in feb and then that was it. :(

      • EB

I have not figured out why some people get better coupons than others. My sister and I usually shop together. She gets a $3 off $15 almost every time she scans her card. I have maybe gotten one in 6 months. Sometimes the machine even says it does not have any coupons for me and spits out 4 for her. We buy similar amounts and items. The only difference is she got her card several years ago and then almost never shopped there until we started CVSing this summer, which is when I got my newer card.

    • Kancyce

I can't get my coupons off of Red Plum to print. Any suggestions?

    • Juli

Does anyone know if the P&G $10 ECB wyb $25 is a weekly or a monthly deal? I did it last week, and don't want to get up there and pay and have it not print me out any ECB's!

      • Valeriems1

It is a new deal with new products

    • Guest

$20.64 out of pocket for the following:

2 packages of 32 rolls of charmin
1 package of 8 rolls of bounty
      1 box of cheerios
1 box of cinnamon toast crunch
      1 package of pampers cruisers
      2 purex 3 in 1
      1 brachs candy
2 bags of skittles fun size
      1 colgate toothpaste
      6 renuzit

This is my first time ever trying this…I think I did okay.

    • Kmanganaro

      I bought:

      2 Dial Body Wash

      1 Candy corn

      2 Colgate Toothpaste

      2 Purex 3 in 1

      Used $1 off Dial (2), .99 off Candy corn, $1 off Colgate(2), $3 off Purex (2) $5.98 ECB, $5.00 ECB and a $1.80 ECB

Total out of Pocket was .57 I have to say that was my best CVS trip yet!!

      Total oop was .57 Saved

    • TeacherSC

      I bought:

4 fun size M&M bags (used today's RP $1.50 coupon and the CVS $1.00 off 2 fun size bags that printed out when I printed my coupons today at the store)
2 Colgate toothpaste (used 2 $1.00 coupons from Walgreen's free diabetes magazine)
1 candy corn (used 99 cents off coupon that printed out today at the store)
also used a $3 off $15 coupon that printed out today
      had $8 ECBs to use
My out of pocket today was $.92 and I saved $23.85

Someone wrongly put the old 2/$5 and $3 ECB when you buy $10 on the M&Ms tag. When I did not get my $3 in ECB back, I asked about it. The cashier went and looked and saw it was dated for last week. She took the tag off the shelf and gave me the $3 in ECB.

So I have $8.98 ECB to roll over.

    • Denise

went to different CVS than I usually go to as I find things are all gone by Sunday morning prices higher though covergirl foundation is usually around 15.99 it was 17.49 on receipt so the 5 off coupon didnt make much differnce and the purex laundry sheets usually 7.99 they were 9.19!!!! anybody finding those toothbrushes that were a great deal the other week seems like they are not replenishing them!!

    • Sporttees

Definitly a good week at CVS for me I spent $10 for $53 worth of stuff and got back $9 in Bucks! Can't beat $53 worth of stuff for $1

    • klh1976

Does anyone know if the P&G deal has a limit of 2, instead of 1 as listed above? I bought $25+ worth of P&G to get my $10 ECB and at the bottom of my receipt it says that I am $24 away from my “reward”. So, can I do this deal again?

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. :)

      • Donna

if on your receipt it doesn't say “offer limit reached” then you can do it again!

    • Angela

1 bottle of Method detergent, 2 packages purex, 2 colgate total, 1 azo, 1 reach floss, 1 bottle advil, 1 bag candy corn, 2 boxes Quacker oatmeal, 1 sm bottle coke, all for $1.79 oop. I did this in 2 transactions and had two $4 off $20 coupons and a bunch of manu coupons. Started with $13 ECB and came out with $15.99 ECB….great day considering I didn't think there was anything in the ad for me this week! Saved $59.78.

      • guest

May I ask where you got the $4 off $20 coupons? Tks!

        • Amy

I had a $4 of $20 coupon emailed to me last week (maybe Thursday or Friday). I don't get them very often but it was a great surprise!

        • Sporttees

The more you use your card the more of them you get. At the coupon center I have gotten 3 in 2 weeks.

      • Crafty_cat_86

For the oatmeal deal, do you have to buy $5 of original price or $5 of sale price to get the 2 ECB? I looked at the shelf today and the instant oatmeal is $5.49 orig. and $2.50 on sale, so do I have to buy one to get the deal or two? It said “limit 2 per household,” so if it was the first, you would've gotten 4 ECBs on your receipt for the oatmeal and not 2 ECB. I just figured out through trial and success that those types of deals at Food Lion are on the original price and not the sale price. I'm wondering if it's the same for CVS.

    • Caity

Thanks for all you do Jenny! I went to CVS and spent $2.04 oop, saved $74.02 and still have almost $20 in ecb for next week! The cashier and manager were impressed and I told them to go to SouthernSavers! :-) You really help us keep our heads above water financially and we still have so much stuff we can donate! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

    • Vivianmarie244

Can anyone tell me if Align goes on sale often? My doc just suggested I try it. I'm not sure if this is a good price or if I should wait because there's supposed to be a $5 coupon in the 10/31 paper.

      • DALLAS-153

At Walgreens from 10/10/10 to 10/16/10 see the deal

$9 RR WYB Align Digestive Care, 28 ct., at $28.99

        -$5 off Align product

(makes it $14.99 with $9 RR)

        • Vivianmarie244

Where did you get the $5 coupon?

    • AKA

Can you use a catalina coupon at any store? If I got it at HT and it says Ht on it can I use it at Publix? How about at Drug stores, or target?

    • kay

Where are you all finding those 90% deals at. What city

      • Rbarbrey

I found mine at the Abercorn store in Savannah, GA.

    • DuncanMomof2

I stopped by CVS today & they have the Emblem 2 liter sodas on sale for $1 with a $1 ecb so technically free. 1 per household limit.

    • DuncanMomof2

I stopped by CVS & was able to get the Method detergent, 1 colgate toothpaste minus 75 cent q, and a 2 liter of soda @ $12.98 minus $2/$10 CVS q that they sent me minus $10 ecb= 23 cent oop, got $9 in ecb back ($5 for detergent, $8.99 for toothpaste, and $1 for soda)

    • Jaybird114blue

hello can you use the save $4.00 off $20.00 plus use coupons

can the price be $20.00 then take $4.00 off and then take off coupons

or does it have to be $20.00 after all coupons are used thanks

      • Alyssa

You use the 4.00 off of 20.00 first before the other coupons make the total less tahn 20.00…. So yes you can use both coupons just make sure you use the store coupon first for 4.00

        • Jaybird114blue

          thank you

      • guest

Where did you find the $4 off $20 coupon?

    • Verabelle

is donating a lot of my extra “stuff” to operation christmas child!!!

    • Simplysettled199

The Purex is not $7.99 its $9.19 @ my CVS, so i got 2 for $9.19 w/ 2/$3 off coupons for a total of $3.19 for 2 so still not shabby. I ended up w/ a total of $57 and paid $27 so I thought that was ok, still working towards not paying as much but im gettin better!

    • StuffCollectr

I didn't get the $3 off coupons for Purex!! I don't know that it's so good to get THIS upset about coupons!!! HMPH! I had my deals all laid out, so I could run in & out of CVS tomorrow! Drat!

      • Jenn

I am still new to this and really wanted to try the Purex and I didn't get the coupon either. I bought 4 papers just to get it (only 2 of those even had Red Plum inserts) and none of them had the coupon. So disappointed!!

      • Brookepicou

I have heard of people ordering coupon inserts from websites. You can even go to Ebay and order them. I did that for some inserts a few weeks back when I forgot to buy a paper and got them in two days. Just make sure to ask the seller if they have those certain q's that you want.

    • Ss310279

If I have (2) $1/2 coupons, can I just buy 2 of the item and still use 2 coupons or do I have to buy 4? Thanks!

      • ChrissyPunkin

You have to buy 4 to use 2-$1/2 coupons.

        • Ss310279

          thought so, just checking…Thanks!!

    • Jessica

CVS in my area (Loganville) had the Purex at B1G1 6.49! so I got an AWESOME deal on that! those of you that want the Purex coupons I would suggest to go to couponbeat.com she has them for .25 each and then you pay .50 shipping. The coupon is good till November so I would just get a rain check if CVS is out, their ad did not mention a limit on how many of those you could get either!

    • Zachzink

CVS has all of the back to school merchandise marked 75% off in Central Florida. I purchased a LExmark X2650 printer/scanner/copier for 14.99 marked down from 65.00

      • kashlea

        Wow…where is the store located?

        • Zachzink

This was the store in Lakeland, FL Bartow Rd

          • Subohfam

Wow …. That is amazing.. Im frm lakeland n I can never find any deals like that.. I think if I ever got a deal like that I would faint..

    • luci10

Would love to try the Purex 3-in-1 deals that many have mentioned. Never see the coupons in our inserts. I think someone suggested going to Redplum online. Looked there but I did see it there either. Is there a particular zip code that works?

Did have a good run at CVS yesterday. Got enough for the P&G coupon rebate with 2 transactions. Coupon printer was giving me what I needed that day too, with a some extras for another trip. :)

    • KeriD

Anyone have an extra set of coupons from yesterday by any chance? I had a bad reaction to some meds yesterday and couldn't get out to get any papers. :-(

      • Jessie

If you go this morning, you might be able to pick them up at Kroger if you can get there before the newspaper guy comes to pick up the extra ones….It really might be a good day to do this since it's a holiday. Good luck, and sorry you had a reaction!

      • DonnaTN

Most of the stores still have them on Mondays even the CVS's.

      • Brooke

Walgreen's and CVS will have them and even Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart and Walgreen's tend to have them all week while CVS will only have them for a few days.

    • Jessie

Does anyone know how much the Crest Whitestrips are? Thanks!

      • Jessie

Nevermind…I just went to CVS and saw them.

    • Jessie

I'm having a hard time getting past about $6 ECB's every week without paying a lot oop. I've only been doing CVS for a few weeks, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

      • Mcdowels

There are times that you can buy things that you don't necessarily need like the Baush and Lomb Contact solution from a week ago($7.99 with $7.99 ECB use with $1 Q ) , make $1 profit and then donate or give away. They really do begin to add up. Just go for the free stuff with ECB + overage and then use the ECBs for your own use. I bought $121 worth of merchandise last week and only spent $4.84. You can too – hang in there!

      • Freedomspradley1

Some weeks are better than others and the last couple weeks have been really slow at CVS. Just hang in there. Eventually you'll get a good week when you can earn ECB without too much out of pocket. My advice to new couponers is to only buy ECB deals at CVS and B1G1 deals when you are really getting a steal on a product. Otherwise, don't spend on regular “sale” items, even if you have a coupon for the item.

    • Rbryant1201

Wow I just had an excellent trip to CVS!

      (1) Colgate toothpaste- $2.99

      (4) Purex 3-in-1 (BOGO) – $15.98 total

      (2) Clean and Clear Foaming Facial cleanser 8oz – $2.70 total (clearance)

      Used coupons

$4/$20 CVS coupon I got in my e-mail (my store takes expired store coupons allll the time, I never knew that until recently)

      (4) $3 off Purex 3-in-1

      (2) $1 off Clean and Clear product (internet coupon)

      $1 ECB

Total 4.30 with tax ($2.67 before tax)

Got $2.99 ECB back for the toothpaste!

Fun trip, I won't pay full price for the Purex 3-in-1, but they sure are nice when they are that cheap!! ($0.38 per item before tax)

    • Jwilson1

Help please! I don't see the Pepsico deal that is mentioned above in my sales flyer, and it seems no one else has mentioned this. Are there different deals in different areas?

    • Jessiegirl

Thank you Southern Savers!!! Thanks to you my CVS run consisted of (3) Colgate Toothpastes, (1) Colgate Wisp, (2) Purex 3-in-1, (1) Recycle Tag (for filler), (2) Dawn Dish Detergent for a whopping total of .76 cent after q's and $10 ECB. I still have $16.50 in ECB!!!!

    • Dianne

I know this has been answered before, but I cannot find my $10 ECB from last week! I may have thrown it away. I really need it for this week. What can I do? Thanks!!!

      • Amy

I called the 800 number on the back of my card the one time I lost my ECBs. They asked me what item I got them for and after I told them, they checked to see if it had been used and reissued it. She said it would take a couple of days, but I just scanned by card at the red box the next day and they were there. That was a couple of months ago and I just found those ECB last week! They were in my coupon folder the whole time. Ugh!

        • Dianne

          Thanks so much!

        • Helenbarnes04

thats odd i called becouse my purese was stollen so i had to get a replacement card and they told me that they can only replace the quarterly spending ecb's. i almost cried becouse i had about 25.00 in ecb's. but i will call again to see if it was just the person not wanting to help me.

    • Kandbcobb

Went to our local CVS today and they did not offer the ECB on COlgate toothpaste. They had marked the price down from $2.99 to $1.99. I guess that is still a good buy when you add coupons but would have liked to have had the ECB.

      • Dianne

Are you sure you bought the correct kind and size of Colgate that was offering ECBs? Sometimes CVS and other drugstores have a sale on one type and size in addition to the type and size for ECBs.

        • Helenbarnes04

sorry this as for Amy!! dont know what happend

    • Donna

I'm in Fort Worth Tx. We didn't get the Purex 3-1 coupon this week. Anyone know where to print one?

      • Donna

For $3 not just for $1?

    • Vince5428

Thank you Jenny for this site! My wife and I went to Publix and Winn Dixie yesterday and bought just under $160 worth of groceries and got about half off with the b1g1″s and all the coupons,we saved $49 at Publix and $30 at Winn dixie we are on our way to saving money for good now!!!!

    • notwithoutacoupon

I went down a whole day's worth of comments, so if this has already been answered, I apologize. Has anyone done the 5 AZO wipes or cream deal? I'm just wondering if it's working b/c I've got a pretty large ECB that I need to roll before it expires. I don't want to get in there and it not work. Has anyone had success with this particular freebie?

      • AnitaT

YES! I bought 3 on Friday and the sale is good for the rest of the month for 5 Azo's.

I used my $2. coupons onn each one with no problem. :) Also, I figure this stuff should be good for any kind of itching….. I'm sure I can find some other uses for it! LOL!

        • notwithoutacoupon

          Thank you so much!

    • Donna

FYI I didn't know this and am just passing along. Two products will be bundled together with a price and it will say an ecb amount u will get with it. Bought a product yesterday and thought I was getting a l.00 ecb. I didn't get it and got to looking at the package and there are dates on them…U only get the ecb between certain dates. Was glad it was only a 1.00 and not a 3 or 4.00 one

      • macboy

I went to CVS armed with the $5 Halloween coupon. I saw a wreath that I thought was on sale for $3.99, so I bought the $.99 bag of soft peppermints (which I shouldn't be eating on my low-carb diet). When I got to the register, I was charged $1.07. After the cashier called someone to check the price, the person noticed that the sale sign was from September! Ugh. Whatever…it's just a dollar.

        • macboy

          The wreath was $4.99.

    • Firstbrownie

My RedPlum insert this week had TWO coupons plus lots of ads….the Folger's and the M&Ms/Mars coupon!!!! We don't have many couponers in our area, so my stores are never out of things, but I think we get the most pathetic inserts! Just sharing my frustration…… :)

      • luci10

I liked the $1 off any Folgers, so I did buy another 99 cent discount paper. We drink more coffee as the weather cools. We didn't get the M&M/Mars coupon, which you might be able to stack with a Target printable coupon to make a 12 oz Hershey's Kisses dark chocolate bag 39 cents. I think we had a sausage coupon then the rest were ads.

I go to Walmart where the papers are stacked on carts near the cashiers and check before I buy that each anticipated insert is there before I buy. Locally, RP and SS are often filled lots of ads. I peek at those before I buy too.

      • Kay Brooksok

Try Ebay. I have bought inserts on it many times.

    • Babydoll 1999

      Can I use 2 $3 off purex Q's and only buy 2 3-in-1 boxes?

      • Kimboone123

      • Denise

My CVS would only let me use 1 she would not even scan the second. She said it would beep.

        • JT

next time tell her to review CVS's coupon policy. It specifically says you can use two Q's on a BIGI b/c the register actually sees two items, so it'll take both. You were robbed!

    • Jacknbeck

I know I'v postd this before, so pardon the redundancy…I can't find my previous post! Can anyone tell me how to get the reinventing beauty magazine?

      • Sam

its available at cvs near the counters, you can ask them, its normally priced at 1$

    • Jen9277

Thank you, SS! Using only coupons and deals listed on this site I spent $29 and saved $51. I've only been at this a week, so I look forward to saving even more next time, but I felt that was a heck of a start!

I didn't have a SS in this Sunday's paper…SS 10/10 was not in there…???? anybody else have that problem?

      • Firstbrownie

Yes, my paper from my town didn't have it; another paper about an hour away did….who knows???? :)

    • Kendall

Anyone having trouble finding the free revlon nail enamel coupon in the 9/12 SS? I've looked through all 4 from that day several times and I can't find it. All I can find is the $1 off revlon color product

      • notwithoutacoupon

Those coupons were regional. They weren't in mine either (i'm in SC).

Rose…your CVS takes competitor coupons? I don't think mine does….or do all CVS' take competitor?

        • Rose

Most of them in my area take them… Huntsville, AL. However, only one (which is my preferred one) allows you to use a competitor, manufacturer, and CVS coupon (including ECBs) together. They all used to until a couple of months ago. Now at most CVS stores in the area, if you use a competitor you cannot use a CVS coupon (including ECBs) or a manufacturer coupon. I drive a little further to go to my favorite store… although the employees at all of them are exceptional.

          • Ashley

That's nice! I wish ours (Columbia, SC) took competitor coupons…maybe one day! Thanks for sharing =)

        • Rose

If this is a duplicate post… I apologize. I typed a response, but it did not seem to post.

Now, at most stores if you use a competitor coupon you cannot use a manufacturer or CVS (including ECBs) coupon with that transaction. So, I drive a little further to go to my favorite store, but the employees are exceptional at all of them.

          • Wendy

Hey Rose! I'm in Huntsville area also. Which one allows you to use all three? That would be awesome!

OK — new to this but maybe I am getting it. Went to CVS this morning — got my bag of candy corn, two Colgate toothpaste, sucker for my grandson and I basically made a 92 cent profit

      Candy Corn .99

      Colgate 2.99

      Colgate 2.99

      Sucker .88

      Colgate coupons (2) Less 2.00

      Candy Corn coupon Less .99

      $ 7.85 Total Purchase

      (2.99) Coupons listed above

      .20 Tax

      $ 5.06 out of pocket but….

I received 5.98 in CVS bucks so I made .92 and will use my bucks for other purchases!! Whoopeee

    • Lindseywarner

Tip for people with babies. I used a 4 off 20 coupon (always prints for me at coupon scaner) for the formula sale, it makes it 12.99 !!

    • Mandyscarroll

I went to CVS today and tried to use $1 off Dawn Hand Renewal. I was buying 2 plus a variety of other items. The first coupon scanned, but the next one would not. She told me that I could not use the coupon for $1 off when the product is only .97. Anyone have this problem? I'm not sure if this is not allowed or if I should try again.

    • mandy

They should adjust the value of the coupon down to 97 cents for you.

        • Mandy

I told the cashier that and she informed me that she had no idea how other stores would be able to do that. Thanks, I will just try a different store. There is one on every corner where I live.

          • macboy

You must live in Florida. :-)

            • mandy

Yes, South Florida, it is. I just wish the cashiers were more consistent.

      • Asmith

I did this on Sunday and they have to reduced the coupon to 97 cents

      • Ashley

weird! I used both of my $1 off hand renewal coupons. The 2nd one did beep but she keyed it in. I would try again.

        • Fallaya

My CVS gave me the full $1 off. They rarely adjust coupons.

      • Crystal

Same thing at Rite Aid yesterday you have to buy one more than you have a coupon for I got 6 bottles Gain Dish Detergent for .75 Cent

      • Juliea201

My CVS used my 1st $1 Dawn coupon, and then had to adjust the 2nd down to $0.94 (so the 3-cent overage from the 1st bottle applied to the 2nd bottle). I'm just happy to get stuff free so I usually just tell them to adjust the coupon down to whatever they need it to be.

used: .40 cents off Dial soap
.35 cents off Renuzit air freshener
      $1 off colgate
      $2.99 ECB
total oop: $1.53 got back $3.99 ecb

      Transaction #3
2 Dawn dish detergents @.97cents each
      used 2-1.00 off coupons
total oop: .14 and I still have $3.99 ecb left from previous transaction =)

    • Skahmad

the “diabetes and You” mag at walgreens pharm center has a colgate $1 off Q on page 43. other q's too, like splenda.

    • Jenn

Found a few “summer” food items 90% off at CVS today. Wyler's Italian Ice freezer pops 16pack for 19cents! Several other varieties available too.

    • Kristinlynne31

      got back 6 ecb!
      LOVE IT!

    • Crafty_cat_86

Okay, this worked at Food Lion, and I'm wondering if it's the same for CVS. When it says, $10 ECB wyb $25, is it talking about the sale price or the original price? Can I buy 2 Tides and get the $10 b/c they're 14.99 orig. (so ~$30) or do I need to add something more to get the total to $25 at the sale price? thx!

      • Brooke

You would have to buy something else from that list to total $25 with the sale prices.

    • Brooke

Heads up for anyone wanting free Gain Dish soap again this week. Dollar General has them for $1 still….well at least mine does in Texas. Use the $1 off q from this week's P&G Saver and it's free once again!

      • Brooke

Sorry, it's not in the P&G. The coupon is in the Redplum insert from this week :)

        • luci10

? Found Gain coupons in our P&G this week. I happened to get an extra P&G in our paper.

      • Subohfam

Or walmart has them 98 cents

    • Zicam also has an internet coupon for their Intense Sinus Relief Nasal Gel and Extreme Congestion Relief Nasal Gel. I’m working with Zicam, and just wanted to spread the word. Visit http://bit.ly/aZLzSy for $2 off!

    • Bets

is the $3 Purex coupon regional? Can't find it in my Red Plum.

      • Crystal

I live in N.C. and its not in any of mine either I have 5 Red Plums

        • luci10

Apparently, it is regional. Have never seen it in our RP.

          • luci10

Perhaps the coupon distribution is by city and the paper's company? Clarion-Ledger is which probably the largest paper in Mississippi and is operated by Gannett. Meridian Star is smaller and operated by CNHI from Alabama. Sun Herald (large coastal paper) is operated by the McClatchy Company. I've noticed very different coupons in the last two that I don't see in Gannett papers. Perhaps it's the same story in your area.

        • Mommysauls

I live in Rocky Mount NC & we didn't have it in our Rocky Mount Telegram only in the Raliegh paper.. News & observer.. There are always more q's in that paper! :)

        • Guest

We had it in the Courier Tribune in Asheboro

    • Crafty_cat_86

If anyone lives in or near Valdosta GA the CVS on Ashley St. just put a ton of awesome stuff on clearance- all around 75% off. It's on 2 end caps facing the wall where pens/pencils, etc. are. I went in for the toothpaste this week and came out spending $10 on:

2 colgate toothpastes (free after ecb this week)

1 Tide detergent, 1 Febreeze noticeables, 1 Glade twin oil warmer refills, 6 Oral-B toothbrushes (the good ones- Pulsar and Cross Action), a CVS foot care kit, set of 2 Aqua Globes, and 1 Green Works cleaner. I bought the toothpastes then used the $5.98 ECB and a few coupons on everything else and spent 10 bucks and some change total. I have $12 ECB left over from last week so I wasn't even sad about using my $5.98 one today ;) I promise I didn't buy them out of all the good stuff either!

      • Mistyrocks2003

Im from Thomasville,I so want to move back to Valdosta! You guys have all the awesome stores!!

      • Cloggersmama

Great job! My CVS in Conyers will not allow coupons on clearance items. :-(

    • tarheelpat

I think the Purex coupon may be just larger papers. We were in Asheville over the weekend and the Red Plum section was small and did not have the coupon. Came home to find a great big fat one in the Charlotte Observer with several extras including the Purex coupon, a Dial coupon, John Frieda hair products.

    • Carrol

Just got back from CVS. Free Gold Emblem Soda.

$1 ECB wyb Gold Emblem soda @ $1 each. Limit 1

$1 off lotion, CVS coupon printing at the kiosk machine, use it to buy a CVS Total Moisture Dry Skin Lotion, 3 FL OZ, on sale for $0.99.

Other CVS store coupons printing at the machine are: -$1.50/2 off Soft Soap,

-$1.00 off CVS Hand Sanitizer 8 oz.+, -$1/2 M&M Mars Fun Size Bags

-$1/2 off Gold Emblem Pretzels or nuts, and -$10 off Craig 13-inch HD LCD TV

    • Sarah

I have $14.99 ECB's that expired yesterday :( Does anyone know if I can still use them? Will the store take them?

      • Brownketch

The manager at my CVS told me to ASK if I ever had expired ECBs – there may be times when she can accept them. It was something to do with the timing of some report re: the ECBs – if she had not already done the report, she could add in the expired ECBs and the store get credit for them! Hope that makes sense – I don't think I'm explaining it too well! My rule is to always ask, and the manager of my CVS is great!

      • DonnaTN

Depends on your store. Just ask…some stores allow a week after it expires, some do 30 days and some only do a day or 2 after. So it's better to just ask the store you go to.

      • Joydale72800

I got to their website and tell them the ECB amounts and dates they expired. A few days later when I scan my card at the coupon machine, ECB print. Love CVS!!!!

        • Joydale72800

Go to contact customer service tab.

      • Sarah

Thanks for the help! I asked the cashier and she said they will take them as long are recently expired. I was glad that $15 did go to waste!!

    • Joyce

Did anyone actually see the $5 off 2 cover girl simply ageless products that listed as being in the 10-10 PG? I have called everyone I know and no one has it. I also emailed the company and they said they had no coupon in this mailer.

      • Phillips

Yes Joyce – I have it in mine – right next to a big picture of Ellen. It probably doesn't help though because I am a Northern Saver :) It's in the Rochester, NY P&G insert.

      • Kristy

It is also in my p&g insert and i got the AJC

      • DonnaTN

Yes, its on the 3rd to last page under the pantene one with ellen.

      • Colleen N

        We got it in Nashville

    • Rdwp43

I get a $5 off $25 coupon about every time I go to CVS and I have a friend who does not. Does anyone know why?

      • Fallaya

I don't get them anymore. I haven't received one in months! I tried contacting CVS about it, and they were no help.

      • Jbush27

That happens. They tease you with one every week for a few months. ANd then you will never get one again. It will happen to you one day.

        • Cloggersmama

Yep, I've recently stopped getting them after months of getting $5 off $25 and even $10 off $50. Don't understand why, but as a result I have been shopping Rite Aid more and doing very well there!

    • ASage

Great day at CVS – lots of free goodies. Got a great $5/$15 coupon when I scanned my card – so I changed my plan and got free mascara, eye shadow & lip gloss from Maybelline, 2 toothpastes, candy and 2 laundry detergent with CVS & man. coups + 6.99 back for next time. Love it when they pay me to shop!

    • Simplysettled199

I went to CVS today to get my $10ECB w/ a $25 purchase. I bought one pack of the charmin, one Gain, and one Bounce. the total was $26 & change and I had $6 in coupons which made my total under $25. The computer did not print the $10ECB…I was so disappointed….luckily the very nice sales lady there did something on the computer that made it print, winked at me and said…”i didnt just do that” LOL but anyway, I thought that it would give you the $10ECB before coupons but evidently it doesnt…FYI

      • auburncouponmama

It worked for me before coupons.

      • Amy

It's weird because the CVS I usually go to always prints the ECB before coupons. I stopped at a different CVS last week and used a bunch of coupons on candy & didn't get my 3 ECB. On the bottom of my receipt where it shows how much you have spent towards a deal, it gave what I paid after coupons. I have no idea why it would be different from store to store, but I just noticed that this one time.

      • Sunshine

I was really worried about this but I used tons of coupons of the P&G promotion and got the $10 ECB even though I paid very little out of pocket. :)

      • Jbush27

I have been CVSing for a long time and it has always printed when I use coupons. It should be the total before coupons.

    • Jessdare101

I have a question. I have BOGO coupons for zone perfect bars, I also have .55/1 coupons. Can I use both coupons?

      • Brooke

        Yes you can :)

      • Tiffany

you can use two coupons on bogo its saves more!

    • Bella

      what is ECB

      • Kbonnerbest

If you check out the “Learn to Coupon” section, you should find Jenny's helpful tips on learning to shop at CVS. She's got a lot of great information.

ECB stands for Extra Care Bucks- it's basically the CVS “money” you can earn.

    • Brooke

So apparently you have to go to cvs.com/email every week and register for emails if you want the $4/$20 coupon. They don't automatically send them. I have had to do this for two weeks now and I have gotten the coupon.

      • Brooke

BTW the coupon sent to my email last night expires on the 23rd!

    • Sunshine

Well, it was a good week for me at CVS mainly because I use Colgate and Gain HE! The other items are just bonus or donate items :)

      Transaction #1:

      (2) Colgate Totals at $2.99 each

      (2) Purex 3-in-1 Deteregent Sheets B1G1 at $7.99

      (2) Candy Corns (small bags) at .99 cents each

      (1) CVS Green bag tag at .99 cents

      Used the following coupons:

$3 off $15 from red coupon box

      (2) $1 off colgate

      (2) $3 off Purex

      (2) .99 cents off candy corn from red coupon box

      $4 Reward Bucks

Total Due: .66 cents out of pocket

Get Back: $5.98 ECB for Colgate

      Transaction #2

      (2) Gain detergents HE – 100 oz – $10.97 each

      (1) Downy Liquid – $5.97

      (2) Neil Med – $1.10 each (90% off sale! Originally $10.99 and had $1.50 peelie so Money Maker of .40 cents each!)

      Used the following coupons:

$3 off $15 from red coupon box

      (2) $1 off Gain

      (1) $2.50 off Downy (from Downy sampler on VocalPoint)

      (2) $1.50 off NeilMed (made this a MM of .80 cents!)

      (1) $9 ECB (rolled over from last week)

      (1) $6 ECB (rolled over from last week)

      (1) $5 ECB (rolled over from last week)

      Total Due: $2.65

Get Back: $10 ECB for P&G

So all that being said . . . I went in with $20 ECB's and left with $15.98 and paid a total of $3.31 out of pocket for all that stuff! So if you count the “lost” ECB's of $4.02 plus my OOP that equals $7.33 (or $3.67 for 2 100 ounce Gains)! I usually find them on sale for $9.75 (without using coupons) So woo hoo!!!! Good luck everyone!

    • Saving

Is the $25 P&G deal before or after taxes?

      (2) Bounty Paper Towels 8pk. $6.99

      (1) Charmin 16pk. $9.99

      Total before tax: 23.97

      Total after tax: >25.00

Would I still get the $25 ECB?

      • Westonadunlap

        I mean 10 ECB?

        • Leeerwin

our store manager said it was before tax…

        • akellyinva

Generally, no. Your total should be $25 before tax. I was within pennies once and it still printed, but your $1.03 off, so you'd probably need to buy another item.

    • Aslewis

Did anyone try the CoverGirl Olay foundation that was supposed to end up at $7.49 a piece. I think I'm missing something because that's not what mine ended up as…

      (2) Foundations @ 15.99 ea = 31.98

      Less: $5 coupon from P&G = 26.98

      Got back $6 ECB = 20.98

Makes them $10.49 each (no 7.49)

    • Leeerwin

P&G ECB question–I got the $10 P&G ECB on the sale that ended LAST Sat., it had a limit of 1. Is that just the limit for that sales week or is it for the month?

I would like to get the P&G $10 ECB for the sale this week before the sale ends tomorrow, but wasn't sure how the limits work…help please.

      • akellyinva

This is a new deal, it looks like. You should be able to do this again. The items are different this week than last. Generally these deals reset each week and are not month-long, so you when the new ad comes out, you can do the new deal. hth

    • Chasityc1984

Our CVS did not have the purex for 7.99. It was 9.19 and B1G1. Oh well it was still a great savings!! :)
