Store Logo

These deals start Sunday 11/14 at CVS. This is a pretty good ad compared to the past few weeks. I doubt highly that most of you will find the toothbrush, most stores never restocked from the last sale. So make plans to grab other things and be pleasantly surprised if you find it.

If you see any other deals or coupons leave a comment below.

      Slow week for me.

Have fun with the toothbrush fiasco. Got mine about two weeks after the first sale.

    • Joysews

The q for Lipton tea says the page is no longer available.

    • Angela

Assuming that they do have the toothbrush:

Buy 1 Oral B Toothbrush, 1 Blistex, and 1 Mentos for 25.58 before cupons. Use -5 off of 25 purchase (I got this in an email), Use -10.00 Oral B Toothbrush Cupon, -.55 Blistex cupon, and -1.00 Blistex Cupon for a new totaql of 10.03. Get 14.50 ECB and make 4.47 profit in ECB. I havent been doing this long but it sounds like it will work?

      • Melissa

I haven't gotten any $5/25 etc. coupons emailed to me in months! I used to get one every other week or so and now nothing. I wonder what happened? I miss them!!!

        • Fallaya

I haven't gotten one in almost 6 months.

        • Johne

I got one by swiping my card at the red box.

        • GinrunsL8

I also had not been getting them but I “updated” my info for the email list and now I get them every couple of weeks.

      • Vgwagoner

You should also be getting a holiday book in the mail soon that says spend 20 get 4 ecb. we got ours wednesday, be on the lookout!

    • Ashley

thinking of giving up on cvs their ads have been horrible these past few weeks, seems like rite aide has better sales these days…cvs better step it up otherwise they are gonna lose some customers :(

      • Fallaya

I agree…rolling extra care bucks is getting more and more difficult. What happened to the great ecb deals they used to have on diapers/wipes? The last few weeks, I've been rolling ecb's on stuff I don't use or need.

        • LoverlyStudio

I agree! I ended up using all of big stash of ECB's and $4 off of $20's that I had left for half price Halloween candy so sitting around eating that while I'm waiting for CVS to get their act together.
I can't even get a $4 off of $20 to save my life right now. They are being stingy I think. So been spending my money all at Rite Aid instead trying to get to 1,000 before Dec 31st!

          • wendyc33

waa waaa waaa. be glad you were able to get those 4/20 coupons. alot of people dont get them at all. all of these whining and griping is irratating. Please post your happiness for rite aid at rite aids site. this is a cvs post, write about a good deal on here or dont post at all please. im sorry but some of you are really way to spoiled..

      • tarheelbaby1

I had $23 in ECBs a few weeks ago. I had been rolling bucks for a good while, but over the past three weeks I've just spent them on odds and ends to get rid of them before they expire. I can't find anything in the sale ads that strikes me at all. Much bigger fan of Rite Aid these days.

      • Ceomisavings

Rite Aid just combined with ShopRite so they're trying to draw people in…take advantage for now and keep CVS in mind…

      • wendyc33

I cant believe all this griping on here. If you like them better go to rite aids post and post on them. this is a cvs posting site. post a good deal or get the heck out. I dont want to read all that griping on here. I want to read about a deal. I think some of u are just getting spoiled. I for one have been doing just fine rolling my ecbs, it hasnt been great weeks there, but heck im just glad we are able to do this and get any kind of deal.

        • Marina115

I didn't enjoy reading your post either.

    • Crawford86575

I wouldn't recommend buying the Progresso Soup at CVS, the price is usually $3.19 a can/2 = $1.59 a can,

Go to Harris Teeter and get it for $2.59 a can/2= $1.29 a can

plus, the selection is a lot better, and the shelves are better stocked at HT.

      • Rachel

Check your current local Walgreen's Ad. It is coupon days with a Progresso Soup coupon for 4/$5. Combine the two coupons. Sale ends 11/13.

      • Guest

but I can pay with ECBs at CVS.

    • Amy

Can anyone tell me if CVS lets you use a B1G1 coupon and another coupon for the same product. My CVS says that the B1G1 coupon is for two products and you can not use the other coupon with the one you buy.

      • tygirl13

Yes you can. Check out the “Almost Official Coupon Policy” link at the top right corner. It is an email from CVS customer service that explain their basic coupon policies. I wrote to CVS customer service my self a few months ago and got a similar response. I carry a copy of it with me in my coupon binder in case I have any problems. HTH.

      • shopchick

You CVS is right. You cannot use a B1G1 coupon along with say a dollar off amount coupon for the same product. The B1G1 coupon counts for both products and using another dollar off manufacturer would mean you are using two manufacturer coupons for one item and you cannot do that. And tygirl, no where in this unofficial coupon policy letter/email does it say you can do that. All it says is that if something is B1G1 you can use a B1g1 coupon or two dollar off manufactures but not using them together.

        • Mcleodsc

          Do you work for CVS?

          • shopchick

            nope sure don't

      • macboy

I have been able to use a BOGO coupon alone with ONE $X off coupon. The BOGO coupon attaches to free item and the $X off attaches to the one that you're paying for.

I've only done this once and it was at Walgreens. If I could do it at Walgreens….

      • Sarah

Wow, there is a lot of conflicting info on here. Check out The Krazy Coupon Lady, she explains it really well. Esentially, your BOGO applies to your FREE item (you are saving $x on the free item and saving NOTHING on the item it tells you to buy). Some are correct in saying you cannot use two manuf coupons on the FREE item, however you CAN use a $x/1 on the item that you are buying. HTH, again check out TKCL. This is the information I've read on all of the coupon blogs I've been to.

    • Johne

I have a questions regarding the coupon that says purchase one container of peanut butter when you purchase any 2 Rice Krispies Cereals(12 oz or larger). First of all is the Rice Krispies that is on sale this week 12 oz or larger. Also can I use a $1/2 Rice Krispies coupon for 2 boxes that I buy and use the $1 off peanut butter coupon also. Can I also use a .75/2 and .50/1 coupon for the Skippy peanut butter. I would also buy 3 Ragus and use the B2G1 coupon. This way I would buy 2 Rice Krispies,3 Skippys and 3 Ragus and pay 9.08 and get $4 ECB. I would combine this with a $5/$25 coupon I already have from the red box buying $11 more in merchandise(getting more ECB also hopefully). I know this is complicated but I was wondering how I can best use the $1 off peanut butter WYB 2 Rice Krispes coupon and get the best deal. Thank you for responding.

      • Diane

I'm not sure about your rice krispies ozs question, but you can definitely use the $1 off peanut butter WYB 2 rice krispies. You shouldn't use the other pb Q's because you've already used the $1 Q on it and you can only use 1 manu Q on each item.

    • Melynn

If you did the toothbrush deal last month, are you able to do it again this time?

    • shopchick

CVS on West Georgia Road got 6 toothbrushes in

      • Bryarsmom

        Must you rub it in???

    • shopchick

      • Brooke

All I have to say is that if Walgreen's lets us do it than CVS does as well. I have had several cashiers take the q's and never had a problem.

      • macboy

Ditto with Brooke. I did it at Wags. If I could do it there, I could do it anywhere…

        • Ilovekingmartin

      • Sillysnicks

Shopchick, I don't know why you are “yelling” (typing in all caps) but yes you can use a B1G1 coupon and a $1 off coupon together. We didn't just get away with it once, it is considered acceptable use of coupons. I am glad we worked that out! Please advise if you are in charge of writing the CVS coupon policy!

        • Bryarsmom

          You're a hoot! LOL

      • Lisa

This is what CVS emailed me about about this issue:

When an item is on sale for buy one, get one free and the customer has a buy one get one free coupon for that same product, the coupon will be accepted and both items will essentially become free (plus any applicable sales tax).

Also, two manufacturer coupons can be used on a buy one get one free purchase as long as two items are scanned at the register. The system logic sees two items scanned and will allow two coupons.

        • Raynesmw

Hey, I didn't know that!! I just never had tried to do that. I learned something this morning, thanks for that clarification. Yay!

      • None of the stores I shop at have ever had an issue with that either.

      • Sadaivey

It's not just CVS letting it slide as you yelled!

It is valued use of coupons at every store, yes even unfriendly coupon place Wal-Mart!

      • I emailed the corporate office about this same issue, because a manager told me this same thing. I got a call back form corporate that I was right, that the B1G1 can be used along with a $1.00/1 product. The only circumstance that it cant be is if the item is already on B1G1 at the store, then you can only use one. I also got a personal call from the manager of the store apologizing.

      • Bryarsmom

        Attn: shopchick-I you are wrong.

some of us have been Q'ing for years now and CVS has always honored both Q's on the BOGO.

        • Caritob40

I am sorry to so blind…but, which product are you all talking about>???…since the conversation is so heated and i enjoyed it very much, I would like which product it is…so I can go grab it…tnx :)

          • tina

i think it is just a general bogo issue, or at least some kind of issue ;)

            • Caritob40

              tnx tina :)

      • Shari R

I actually asked the manager about this and he handed me the “coupon” policy that was just emailed to him, and according to that policy you can use 1 manufacturer coupon per item unless the coupon state $1/2. I specifically asked about the B1G1 & for example .50 off the second item and he said yes I could do it.

      • Sam123

It is actually common knowledge among couponers and CVS stores that their policy allows for the use of a BOGO coupon and a dollar off coupon. I didn't realize it was even a “question.”

      • Ilovekingmartin

Ha ha! You are so wrong it is funny. LOL

      • Megortiz63

Too funny! And why are you SHOUTING at us??

It is well accepted “policy” that you can use a B1G1 and a $ off in the same transaction, at CVS and everywhere….

      • tina

        • shopchick

          yea seriously

      • med

Are you allowed to use more than one CVS card??? Pay for items with one card and then a second transaction with another Card??? Have my reasons for asking?????

    • Emma

most of our stores here in Horry cty. have those toothbrushes behind the cashier now. I have no reason to give you . but yesterday I was looking for dental floss and I noticed a sign that stated ask cashier. behind counter.

i also wanted to add. when you go to the dentist. ask them for coupons for toothpaste and dental floss. mine had plenty and cause you don't go but every 6 months they give you a hand full. and also on toothbrushes too. and the one I got the other day do not go out will 2012. sweet. and most of those are B1G1 and dental floss was 2 dollars off. HTH

    • Bholmes75

FYI I was able to get 2 of those toothbrushes but I had to get a raincheck for them get them at a later day. The cashier who also is able to order stuff and manages that aisle order a few of those specifically. I gave them to the girls and I must say that's a nice toothbrush. My husband even likes it now wants one for his own.

    • Becky

Last Friday I went to my FAVE CVS (Kingsland, GA) & the manager asked me if I still had my raincheck & coupon for the toothbrush because they had SIX in. I sadly said no, that I had thrown them away because the coupon had expired the weekend before. He said if I could find a coupon he'd write me another raincheck. I went to the car & found one!! I got my toothbrush!! They told me they accept expired coupons up to a week afterwards. Yay!! THAT is GREAT customer service!

    • katkoupon

I read on another site that the Ragu coupon was B2 ragu get 1 free pasta. Anybody know which is correct? Thanks!

    • Sunniskies111

Just wondering…. can ECBs (or for that matter, RRs at Walgreens or UP+ at Rite Aid) be used towards gift card purchases?

      • sarahcas

I don't know about RRs at Walgreens or UP+ at Rite Aid, but ECBs say on them they can't be used for the purchase of gift cards.

I went to CVS last night, for an urgent baby need, and I was pleased to get a $5 off $15 on the reciept!

    • wendyc33

i would like to know if you can purchase the freedom lite moniter deal again if you did this deal last week? Is this a month long deal? Im wondering cause it says its a limit 1. Also i wish they had a limit 2 on the herbal shampoo deal. You got to have conditioner too. lol.

How can I get a coupon for Gain Dishwashing liquid

      • macboy

coupon clipping website or trading forums.

    • Woodscloset

I have a coupon from the CVS pharmacy for $2.00 off any full size Bioluxe product. So I guess add that to the $2.00 ECB and it makes the shampoo $1.99. I was also emailed a coupon from CVS for $5 off $25 purchase…..good through Sunday.

    • Katkoupon

I read on another site that the Ragu coupon is B2 Ragu, get 1 pasta free, does anyone know which is correct? Thanks!

      • Trboggspt

The one I got in the Atlanta paper are buy 2 Ragu get a free pasta up to $1.25.

    • KNM

Random Q? For the 24 hour CVS – can you get the deals at 12:01 am? And for the non 24 hour CVS – you can get the deals at 6:00 pm Sat night. Is this correct? Or am i making this up?

      • Raynesmw

I think it must depend on the store. I was told at my CVS that the actual sales items start at 3pm (at a 24 hr store) on Sat, but that the ECB's don't print out until the next day. Now, whether that is 12:01 or not…not sure of. Maybe other people will know this.

      • Jbush27

Every store is different you have to ask. My store is a non 24 hour store and they start sales and ecb's Saturday at noon.

    • ChristinaB

Hello…I am new to couponing so forgive me if this is a ridiculous question…some of the deals about reference “RP 11/14”. I assume this means Red Plum circular that will be in the 11/14 Sunday paper. If the deals at CVS expire on Saturday, how can I use the 11/14 RP? Please help me to understand.

      • Jeri

These deals don't START until 11/14 and run through 11/20

        • ChristinaB

Well, now don't I feel ridiculous?! Thanks for setting me straight!

      • GS

This is the listing for the sale that begins Sunday..

      • jhoran1

We get the early sunday edition paper on Sat. and so we can catch the tail end of the saturday sale as well as the beginning of the new sunday sale on saturday also, since our cvs activates the new ad for the week at around 3.30 pm.

    • Caritob40

I am sorry to so blind…but, which product are you all talking about>.Which BOGO is it???>???…since the conversation is so heated and i enjoyed it very much, I would like which product it is…so I can go grab it…tnx :)

    • I know the toothbrush deal from several weeks ago was a bummer but several CVS locations in Tallahassee did eventually get them in. Keep your rain check and coupons, even if expired! Have the manager call you when the toothbrushes come in. I got mine on Monday!

    • moneysaved4disney

I got a big Christmas catalog in the mail from CVS today w/ a coupon inside for $4ecb when you spend $20. Keep an eye out.

      • pennywiseinasheville

I got mine too. I'm just waiting for a really good sale. These days for us are very lean and I am so grateful for every penny I can save. It kinda hurts to see all of the awesome bargins and here we are broke, but thanks to folks like Jenny and our fellow couponers posting their finds, I might be able to pull off a pretty good gift giving Holiday. Thank you so much to all who share in your finds, and happy couponing to everyone!!

      • Sokolsinga

In my store, they also have these catalogs for free right next to the papers…

    • Pam

I'm still new, so forgive me, but why is the above called a “scenario”, and why do you have to do it in different transactions? Thanks; that's been causing me some confusion for a few weeks…Pam

      • When you perform different transactions, you're able to roll your ECB's from one transaction to another. In this way, you spend less out of pocket. Does that make sense?

    • I have my two transactions ready. Blistex, Shampoo, Cereal, Deodorant, Gum and a Toothbrush for $1.47! Click on “Cleverly Simple” above to go to my blog to see the details.

Click on “CVS” in the menu bar. I hope this helps you simplify!

    • Motcmom

Pam, sorry, couldn't get this to post under your question, but to answer your question:

Scenarios are just “deal ideas”, giving you an example of a deal and how to get the best deal and spend the least out of pocket (OOP). The reason for doing them in separate transactions is you use the ECB (extra care bucks) from one transaction to “pay” for the next one, saving you more OOP.

      Happy couponing!!

Dear Fellow CVS Shoppers who Live in Small Towns,

Please remember that we only have one CVS store, and the truck only comes once a week on Tuesdays. It is so disheartening to not be able to shop till Friday night only to find that so many products have been cleaned out! Please just buy what you need, and leave some for the rest of us :)
And yes, I did get rain-checks on a couple things but still…..a lot of prep. goes into these trips.

      SAHM in Commerce

      • DonnaTN

I would like to add that although some stores may not have the items in stock when you go shopping (on Sunday) it is sometimes not “other shoppers”. I noticed that CVS runs some of the same products in the next week sale. I've talked to my cashiers about this a lot. So for example, last week the white strips were 23.99 with 10 ECBS back, well it's on sale again this week with no ecbs. I shop on Saturdays and I know the truck only comes in on Thursdays. There was only 1 left so therefore, when the ad starts up on Sunday, people only assume that “other shoppers” took them all or are just greedy when in fact that is not the case. It is sometimes just the way CVS is because even though they do inventory, CVS stores always gets the products in stock that they don't even order for. Hope that helps someone.

        • MD

I will agree with you on what you posted. I have wanted to purchase a product that was listed in the flyer and on sale and they had not even received it in the store yet. CVS said that does not happen often…I also know that you can get rain checks on things and still get them for the deal….My point with my post was the fact I was told by the cashier that there are people who are using 6 and 8 CVS cards to purchase deals….I have been told at 2 different stores where I live by CVS employees that this is an issue and usually why all the deals are gone…..

      • med

Went to my CVS today and was lucky to still find products on a Monday. The shelf is usually cleaned out on Sunday and here is why I think it happens…….I took my fathers CVS card with me today to buy him a couple things (hes elderly and I make trips for him) and I had his CVS card and MINE. In the past I asked CVS if I was allowed to make purchases using both and they allowed me to. This is not a common practice for me. I have taken his card a handful of times along with mine. Normally I shop with my card only. I went to the register and placed items for my card on the counter and paid. Then I placed his items up there and the cashier looked right at me and said “You CANNOT use more than ONE CVS card. I told her I had done so in the past and asked her if this was something CVS was getting ready to implement and she said YES. The cashier next to her said they were going to have to make a STOP t and she used the example that one shopper had EIGHT CVS cards!!!!! EIGHT CVS CARDS! and would use them to get the deals!!!! I find that quite rediculous and selfish of a person to do that. Granted I have heard many people say if you have different emails and addresses for each card that you are legal to use them. This to me is the reason why the shelf is cleaned out in a day and is also the reason why sometimes coupon shoppers are frowned upon or people think we are stealing! I have seen many people post transaction scenarios on here and based on the ECB’s they are getting and using in the next transaction you can see they have more than one card. Hint…one ECB per certain deals. Once again I understand that of right now there is no rule against doing this but I know they will find a way to make it stop. I look for CVS start wanting an ID with your card or something like that in the future. Now granted someone is going to fire back and say….You were purchasing for your father with his card so maybe that person was purchasing for 8 elderly people too…….Honestly????

    • Couponmom1322

I am new to this and really don't understand how CVS works. I went to Walgreens about 3 weeks, one of the cashiers helped me check out, I was lost…had to get a filler items for this so I could get the money back and don't buy that or I wouldn't get money back, I couldn't use a coupon for this in the same transaction and so on…. and then when I went back to spend my Walgreens money, I had to purchase 4 items because I had 4 different money coupons. I don't ever want to go back there.

I have heard that CVS is very easy to work with when couponing. I am planning on going tomorrow to get a few items. I received an e-mail coupon for $5 off of $25 spent from CVS. Can I still use other coupons? If so, is there a certian order that I need to use my coupons—the coupon above, then my cereal coupon, tissue coupon, etc?

Other than the Scenerios posted above how do you figure out how to check out so you make so much ECB to use on the next transaction? Can you not check out all at one time and get all the ECB back??

      • Nackle78

hey. Walgreens really isn't that complicated as long as you “plan everything in advance” even down to the filler items, which you can find for as low as 5-10 cents sometimes. Basically, yes, at Walgreens for every coupon or Walgreens buck you have per transaction you must have a product. 3 coupons = 3 products. 2 coupons and a $1 Walgreens buck? 2 razors and a piece of candy. Get it? I have enjoyed CVS more because you can have 3 coupons and 1 product and you're good as gold! for example, the kiosk spits out a $3/15 coupon and diapers are $20. You can use the $3/15 and the Huggies coupon and not need a filler. PLAN your shopping day in advance. I write everything out on paper, down to the cent after coupons and ECB's. Sometimes I buy it all at once and have a big stack of ECB's for the next week and sometimes I do 2, 3 or sometimes 4 transactions and the ECB's I get from each transaction I use on the next. Just depends if I need diapers or things that usually don't give back ECB's. Hope this helps!

    • Happy feet

Coupon Mom, CVS is eary to work with. I always use my $5 off $25 first. If you use you coupons first you have subtracted $'s . That means you will have to add $ to add up to make $25. So, best way to do this… Give $5/$25 first, next coupons, and then see what your balance is before you use your EB's. I have gotten “o” balance before but I have to pay tax. Also, don't get sucked into the spend so many dollars to get EB's . Unless you really need it. I wasted money there when I first began. This past week I got My finish with coupons and still saved a large amount. I just ignored the other stuff. Have fun. :o)

      • Ashley

If you figure out what your gonna buy before you go, you can use your EBs after the 5/25 and use your manuf. coupons Last and they can pay the taxes. I always had to pay taxes until someone told me about this. But you have to know exactly how many EBs you want to use so that it doesnt go like really negative..but even if it does, you can just add in a random item or two to bring up the total to zero.

        • Luci

I think the taxes depends on your local and state laws. To my knowledge, where we live, the customer has to pay the taxes.

Learned from a news article that in our state, any online purchases that were not taxed, should have been paid voluntarily during income tax time. I doubt many do this.

    • Jhansell

hey i got two of the lysol hand soap desenpers at wal-mart for three bucks by useing the 3 coupon and showing them the b1g1 walgreens ad thought i would share good luck shoppping

      • Guest

$3 each or both for $3? either way thats a good deal! congrats

        • guest

If your Walmart honors BIGIF that’s 2 for $3 but as someone else stated, they normally dont. Last week, I went to the HomeSolutionsNews website ( http://www.homesolutionsnews.us/offers.shtml), signed in and clicked on one of the tabs which gave me $3 off one No Touch Lysol hand soap dispenser. They are only $6 at Walmart, so with the coupon it was $3. Considering that CVS sells the same dispenser for $15.99, it is certainly a good deal!

      • Melissa

Wow! You got lucky. I don't think most Walmarts honor B1G1 competitor ads. They usually have to be a specific price.

    • Nona

last time i was in cvs they said that they would not take any coupon that beeped even if it is a cvs coupon and for the exact thing stated on the coupon!! and in fact when i checked out and handed over a $4 off $20 coupon that had just printed from the coupon machine it beeped and the cashier would not accept it!! im really frustrated and dont understand why they are saying this! i have been couponing at cvs for over 6 months with no problems and then all of a sudden….

has anyone else run into anything strange like this?

      • Kworkman

ensure that you give THAT coupon before you give any others…if you have used others it reduces your $20 and it won't work.

    • Swswift819

Where are you finding the $5 off $25.00 and $4 off $20.00 coupons?

      • Melissa

They are mailed to you if you've given your email address when you signed up for your CVS card. I used to get them at least twice a month and now I haven't gotten anything for the past three months. I have no idea why. Some people get 'em, some people don't. There's no guarantee.

      • msivory20

I just received a 5 off 25 in my email the other day. I have been signed up to receive their weekly ads, etc. for a few weeks now and that is the first discount I have received.

      • Rivera Kelli

I got a large CVS christmas catalog in the mail and in it was a tear out for 4 ECB's when you spend $20.

    • happyfeet

I need help… is there any over the counter liquid foundation like Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv?

I love how ppl get so worked up on here over coupons. makes my day reading yalls posts

      • dislikesstupidpeople

Love how you have nothing better to do if you're not couponing than to read our forum's helpful posts.

    • Shortygirl480

The B2G1 Ragu coupon is for pasta! It's not B2G1 sauce…thought I would share that!

      • Mandi

I got the same coupon. I was disappointed as well… I'm wondering if ours is just regional. Maybe others got B2G1 pasta sauce.

        • MD

It must be if CVS is taking them on 3 pasta sauces…

      • MD

I honestly dont understand why people are using this coupon on pasta SAUCE either and how the store is overlooking it….

      • MD

I shared that info too…..Doesnt seem to matter….I dont know why CVS is taking the coupons?? I see some people posting their scenarios and sure enough they are buying THREE sauces…..

THe oral b coupon is not in rp in today's paper…where can i find the coupon? pls help! Is it regional? I'm in central florida.

      • Jessdare101

I have multiples of this coupon and won’t use them. E-mail me at jjfrugalfriends@yahoo.com

      • Oblby

I found it in the Ocala paper this morning.

      • Michelle

There were 2 RP inserts in my paper but I'm in Atlanta. Good luck!

      • Zjqtcj

I’m in North FL and my Sunday paper has only one R&P insert with no oral b coupon either.

    • Spraymom

My RP didn't Skippy or Ragu coupons in it today. What area is this from? I'm in Chattanooga.

      • Starlagayle

There are 2 rps this week. Double check your paper. I am in chatt also and I got mine.

      • Christine

I'm in Chattanooga and I got 2 redplums. One had a 50/1 Skippy and 50/1 Hellmans. No Blitex in the SS though.

        • Luci

In one of the sets of RP Qs of Jackson, Miss, are .50/1 Skippy and Buy 2 Ragu get Free Pasta up to $1.25 value.

        • maggie503

I’m in Chatt too and I have a friend in Atlanta mail me 2 AJCs every week. Even when I buy the Chatt paper & compare, it’s always missing quite a few coupons.

    • kristen

My RP didn't have Skippy or Ragu coupons in it today. I'm in South Florida

      • Jessdare101

If you’re looking for Ragu coupons from 11/14 e-mail me at jjfrugalfriends@yahoo.com. I have extras

      • uknowyask

there are 2 RP's .Double check your papers! My weekly St Pete Times had not a single insert in them,so I had to run to the store and get the local paper.

      • Kathy

I am in Orland and there are 2 Red Plum inserts.1 has the couon for Skippy nd Ragu.

        • Jade21705

I would recommend getting the paper delivered, It is cheaper and will have all inserts. I bought two papers in publix and one was missing quite a few retail circulars and had different RP and smart source. Frustrating…glad I got two.

    • Ameeperrin

If your CVS doesn't have the toothbrush, grab a raincheck. I did that last time and was able to eventually get one before the coupon expired. You just have to check every time you go in to see if they got one in. The lady told me that they literally nly got one in a week so they go fast. Good luck!

    • Cmbwest

anyone see the blistex coupon in SS?? not in the ajc.

      • Gaylaljohnson

I haven't seen it either in The State newspaper ..

      • Barbara

could not find it in my insert either. Argggg

      • purwiggy

No. I couldn't find it in the AJC either.

      • Rivera Kelli

Oddly enough there are two different SS11/14 inserts. I bought a double paper and each had a different insert. To be specific the insert spine that says 11/14/10 FSI 162-1 has the blistex coupon. The other insert (thicker with more coupons) spine says FSI 161-1 does not. Bizarre and frustrating.

        • Luci

Ours is 11/14/10 FSI 242-1 in the Clarion Ledger, Jackson, MS.

      • Mommyto1cutie

I think there are 2 different SS inserts this Sunday. I don't have the blistex Q either. My paper is 161-1. The Q is in 162-1 I believe :(

    • Jennifer R

CVS in Duluth, GA at PIB and Pleasant Hill has none of the toothbrushes and refuse to write a rain check until Saturday. They suggested I check back daily to see if anyone returned theirs, seriously!?!?

Anyone else have issues getting a rain check at the beginning of the week rather than the end of the week?

      • momof3inATL

Jennifer R. the CVS at Lavista and N. Druid Hills has them. I just purchased mine. If you call them, they will hold them for you. They are very customer service oriented.

      • love2save

got a rain check today with no issues

      • alyw

They shouldve given you one..Hell I still have mine from the last time they ran this deal and still to this day no toothbrushes lol. I was surprised when they ran the deal again!

    • GS

I didn't find the Herbal Essences or Aussie Coupon either..

      • june

there is supposes to be 2 redplum inserts. I only got one and it was the one without the herb ess coupon. I called the paper and asked how many inserts there should be and they said 3. They are supposed to mail me the missing insert. Try calling your paper and see if you have a missing insert. I'm not holding my breath that they will mail me mine, but they have mailed 1 of the past 3 missing inserts. Can't hurt.

        • GS

          Thanks June!

    • Wulfsondz

Found the toothbrush. Right now I am lovin me some CVS!

    • uknowyask

Found all the q's but Blistex in the Ocala Star Banner. The Ragu q is b2 sauce g1 pasta free.

    • momof3inATL

Any thoughts on how to maximize my $26 ECB? Purchased both a toothbrush and the refills and received my ECB in a lump sum! ARGH! ;(

Now I need to figure out how I'm going to roll these over.

      • Sam

        wait for black friday

        • Ashley

i'd say thats probably the best advice. 26 ECBs are hard to roll on a normal week but black friday is a perfect opportunity!!

    • Godot

      Jenny or anyone —

Is Delsym (cough medicine) a monthly?

It showed up on my receipt today as “Buy 2 Get 5 ECB” and “Quantity needed to earn reward: 1.” So, I guess someone else on the card bought one last week — we have an illness going around so no surprise there. However, it is not listed in the weekly ad so far as I can tell. Perhaps an unadvertised special?

    • gretch

Yay, got my 2 toothbrushes. Makes me happy to get in on a good deal!!

    • New2coupons

can I buy a toothbrush, get the ECB then buy the second one using the ECB and get the ECB at the end? It says limit two so why wouldnt I be able to do that? (I dont think I can but I dont show CVS so I dont know)

      • Sam

yes,you can use ecbs from 1st toothbrush and get ecbs for 2nd tooth brush too

    • KNM

Hey everyone – if you purchase the blistex at the front of the store – it won't give you your extra bucks. I noticed before i left the store and brought it to my store's attention – they happily printed me out them – and this time it gave me $2 instead of $1.50 :)

And got my toothbrush – and refills today :) Got a $5 off $20 at the scanner machine . . .good day at CVS . . .

      • purwiggy

Same thing happened to me. Front of the store Blistex didn't automatically generate $1.50 ECB, but when the cashier did the print it gave me $2 instead of $1.50.

Also, got a toothbrush ($13 ECB back), so now I've got $15 ECB total. Hopefully next week's sale will have something great to make use of them.

Its not printing as its the wrong size. Also not on sale in every market too.

      • Juliea201

Yep, I saw the front of store BListex too but no tags, so I went to the medicine aisles, and that's where they are. Also, the Blistex there was $2.49. Still not bad if you have the coupon for it.

      • akellyinva

The blue round “tub” of Blistex Medex at the front of the store that is .25 oz was $1.59 at our store. It fits the .55 coupon AND fits the description in the ad but did NOT automatically give the $1.50 ECB. Our store kindly printed the ECB for us. There are several varieties and prices of Blistex, so just make sure your store honors the ad. We have a good store, so no problems when we showed the ad, I think CVS didn't think this one through before putting it on sale. hth

        • akellyinva

take that back after looking at it. we used the .55 coupon, but i’m not sure the cheap tub is specifically and assuredly covered by that Q. sorry.

    • Karen

I also noticed that my cvs did not give me my ecbs for the blistex and I pointed it out right away. The cashier wasn't sure about it, so she called to the back for a price check. She finally got the okay to print me some (I also got $2). When I got home, I noticed that I paid the regular price for the blistex, not the sale price. I paid with ecbs, so can I go back and show the girl the mistake and ask for a price adjustment, or is it not worth my time? I hate that I was charged an extra $1.70.

And one more thing, I was not able to buy the mentos with the coupon. She told me that because it was 99 cents and the coupon was a dollar, she would get in trouble for accepting it. She told me that they were really cracking down on coupons. :(

      • Michelle

Double check on this…the sales paper says “$1.59 ECB on Blistex” but no price listed. I think Jenny may have listed the cheapest price for Blistex (she may have checked her store or website prior to the sale starting for a price) which was not one of the ones printing an ECB according to the sales paper.

        • mary10114

When I looked on the CVS website, CVS had several varieties of Blistex. I checked what was listed on the Insert previews & what CVSs add said was on sale with the ECBS attached. The blue blistex container for $1.59 was not in a package in the picture on the website.

The Ad said, “:Blistex Five Star, DCT, Complete Moisture, Blistex LIP MEDEX, Herbal Answer or medicated ointment 0.15-0.38 oz”

The coupon preview said. “.25/1 Blistex lip care (exp 1/31/11)

.55/1 Blistex Complete Moisture, Lip Ointment, or Five Star Lip (exp 1/31/11)”.

With the first coupon, $0.25, it would seem you could use this with any variety, the 2nd only with the five star, complete moisture. I dont know if this helps, but I hope so: )

    • Rivera Kelli

Oddly enough there are two different SS11/14 inserts for the AJC. I bought a double paper and each had a different insert. To be specific the insert spine that says 11/14/10 FSI 162-1 has the blistex coupon. The other insert (thicker with more coupons) spine says FSI 161-1 does not. Bizarre and frustrating. Not sure of all the other differences.

    • Barkleybabe_4

i cant find the $1 off of sure deodorant in the 10/17 ss insert. anyone find it in theirs? im just curious if maybe the date is wrong or something…. there isnt even like a different value coupon for sure deodorant in that insert… just curious, thanks!

    • Brooke 99

Freestyle Lite 14.99 get $5.00 EBC

is this new deal or same deal last week ? I didn't know should I get or not.

      • Walker

same as last week-if you purchased 2 last week then you will NOT get a ECB this week

    • wendyc33

at my cvs today they had some makeup 75% off. They had the loreal true match foundation, and powder. also some maybelline items. I bought the true match foundation for just over 3.00 a bottle. wish i had coupons but i didnt. also still had candy for 75% too, and they are the big bags. i bought a big bag of candy for 1.49.

that true match was on sale in the ad for 8.00, but its ringing up the 3.00 price.

      • wendyc33

and there is a 2.00/ loreal foundation coupon on red plum that i just found.

ughhh. well someone can get foundation for just over 1.00 with the coupon.

i also saw a 3.00/1 maybelline foundation coupon too, they had maybelline foundation also 75% off. Those might end up being free.

    • It was so nice to see the deals back at CVS–I think I was having withdrawals after skipping the past few weeks! :-) The staff at both stores I shop at are SO friendly that my “quick” shopping trip ended up taking forever because everyone (including me) was so chatty! My husband was a little mad because I had told him I'd only be gone a half-hour, but it was still a good day & he couldn't stay too mad when he saw what I got. ($101 worth of stuff for $10!)

Click on my name link for detailed transaction & coupon info!

    • Mel

i went today to CVS and found out that the axe shower gel is regular price at 5.79 each but there's a coupon of b1g1 in the 10/24/10 RP and the deal is if you buy 2 you get 2 EBT

      so it's like

2 axe shower gel 5.79 minus 2 extra bucks 3.79 (1.90) no bad

      • momof3inATL

I did the same scenario but paired it with a $3 off of $10 purchase. Paid 2.79 OOP and got 2 ECB. :)

    • Elizabeth

I went to CVS and signed up for the extra care card today for the first time. I did pretty well except I didn't realize/forgot about the limits on items for the ECB so I have to bring one item back but that's okay. I will start shopping there more often. My CVS was out of the tootbrushes but I got a rain check for them. Guess we will see when they come in…. Thanks again Jenny for all the postings!

    • Caity

Can't believe I found a CVS that still had 3 of the toothbrushes at 5pm! Made my night! :-D

    • Kathy

CVS says in their ad that there is a coupon in today's paper for Libby's pumpkin and I can't find it. Has anyone seen it?

      • Couponingburdettes

I saw that too! I looked back through my coupons and cannot find it anywhere.

        • Luci

Didn't see Libby's canned pumpkin, but did see Libby's pumpkin bread kit Q, which won't work for that scenario. (Jackson, MS).

    • Michelle

SUPER excited after my trip today! My store got in a large shipment of the toothbrushes so even tho I wasn't super excited prior to (figuring my scenario wouldn't work)…it did!

      TX 1

      1 Oral B TB $23, 1 Aussie hairspray $2.99; used $5/25, $10 Oral B Q, $0.50 Aussie Q and $9 EBs from previous weeks TX. OOP $1.49

      TX 2

      2 Dry Idea Deos at $2.99 each, 1 Fiber One bars $3.99, 2 boxes Rice Krispies $2 each, 1 Blistex $2.39; used $5/15, B1G1 Dry Idea Q, $1 Dry Idea Q, $0.50 Fiber One Q, $1/2 Kelloggs cereals Q and $5 ecbs from tx 1. OOP $0.97!

    • Juliea201

Forgot to check my paper for the Blistex coupon (and the tagged ones at my store were all $2.49, not $1.69?) but otherwise a great trip. I'd originally planned to just grab the bars and lip ointment, but then I ended up visiting the Minute Clinic for the $5/$15 coupon, AND I found a CVS coupon from the machine for $3 off Almay Cosmetics that I'd gotten weeks ago which expired tomorrow. So…

      1 Blistex Lip Care – $2.49

      1 Fiber One Chewy Bars – $3.99

      1 Almay Bronzer – $10.29

-$5/$15 CVS coupon (met the Minute Clinic practitioner – she was very nice!)

-$3 off Almay Cosmetics (CVS Coupon machine)

      -$0.50/1 Fiber One bars

      -$4 ECB

      Total OOP w/ tax: $5.17 — Got back in ECBS $1.50, $3, $4

I'm probably going to take my $8.50 and roll those into the contact lens solution this week also since we always need that. Thanks Jenny!

    • Matt

Couldn't find the Blistex coupon in SS today…………anyone find it?

      • Amy J.

Some coupons are only available in certain regions. I'm in the southeast, and my SS today did have the Blistex Q's.

        • Lori

What zip code are you in? I am in Birmingham & didn't have the blistex, maybe with your zip code I can get it on line. Thanks for the help.

      • Amanda

We're 3 weeks without SS here in SW Florida. I'm about sick of it.

    • Amy J.

My RP today has Skippy Peanut Butter Q .60/1, 15oz or larger. I'm sure not all regions got this, but it was a nice surprise for the CVS deal.

    • momof3inATL

@Jenny, et al. There is a $1 off 2 Mars products in this weeks RP. You can use that for the M&M's deal. (IK.. haven't we had enough candy from Halloween?)

    • Elaine

      What are Q's

      • momto2boys

        Q's = coupons

    • SaverEK

In the toothbrush/replacement heads ECB deal, be aware of which variety of the replacement heads you are getting them instead of the toothbrush. The Precision Clean replacement heads pictured in the ad was the only product that was on sale w/$13 ECB. I thought the ad meant you could buy any of the replacement heads. There were no sale tags in the store that I went to. However, I was able to find the correct toothbrush and get my ECBs.

      • Beth

I was able to get the Dual Clean replacement heads which work on the Vitality toothbrush and it still printed my ECB's.

    • Mikeandmarcieblack

the freestyle glucometers i bought today had rebates in them. i got 2, so it ended up being a $30 profit.

    • Stephanie M.

My CVS got 4 cases of the toothbrushes in. I went down first thing this morning and they had them all out on the shelf. I couldn't believe it!

      • Jenn

Which CVS? i have been to 4 different ones and none of them have them. They all 4 said that they only get 1 every 5-6 trucks which is about every 5-6 weeks. i was really looking forward to getting two for my son but I can't find them!

    • eyeshadow17

love how your so much of a BITCH that you felt you needed to write a useless comment like that. i believe your comment is no better than mine :) oh and FYI how the hell would you know if im couponing or not. im on the southern savers website and trust me i wouldnt be here if i didnt coupon. how fun would it be to read about sale items.

    • mel

To eyeshadow17, I for one did not like the first comment you posted (the one with a little sarcasime) but not a huge issue, atleast for me anyway. BUT I am very offended with the second comment,(the one with PROFANITY). Keep in mind that probably offended alot more people than you may realize. Maybe in the future you could respond without using PROFANITY and still get your point across. I hope your 2nd comment is FLAGGED AND REMOVED! Please try to make better judgements in the future, after all this is a family site and some of us do have children! Thanks!

    • Kay

I am so MAD at my News Paper People. I go to a convenient store every Sunday and buy 8 papers. I always looked through each one to make sure the right coupons are in them. And yesterday I went through 19 PAPERS before I found the 8 I bought. There is something major wrong with this. People are getting ripped off. If you live in Burlington NC and buy the paper and don’t find all your coupons… COMPLAIN. I have wrote to the editorial and also am making a point to email them today. We have a right. Here is their site.

and here is my complaint on my site with picture. Scroll down to see

      • MD

I have had this happen in Charleston SC…..I always figured that coupon inserts were placed inside sort of at random and if you didnt get any you were out of luck. I have had many papers without said coupon inserts and like you I have checked the 2 papers (occassionally 4) while waiting in line but normally just go with whatever I get. It is frustrating when you know what was listed to be in there IS NOT in there when you open the paper up.

      • macboy

I've never had any missing inserts (at least when I've started paying attention to this website over the summer), but I've gotten an extra insert every now and then. I got two SS inserts on 11/7.

      • Stacey0216

The AJC coupons get stolen ALL the time. I called and talked to Customer Service and she said that they were trying to clean the situation up. It happens like once a month if I dont watch it.

    • Sheila

Ohhh Wooo is me! I made an unexpected CVS run Sunday morning and of course I didn't have any of my coupons! There was ONE toothbrush left (but me with no coupons), only 2 boxes of Fiber One bars and plenty of Herbal Essence shampoos. I still ended up buying the shampoo and the bars, but I walked out with a sinking feeling because I know that I could have gotten a better deal on what I bought and I could have finally gotten my hands on a CVS toothbrush for me! (I got one using the Rite Aid deal for my hubby last week.)

    • kristen

      Just went back to CVS..

      (2) Aquafresh Toothpastes

Just had to go back and get more of the toothpaste..that is a great deal!!

BTW..I got the last 2 toothbrushes in my store yesterday!!! Did not get 1 last promo. Had to take advantage!

      • kristen

Oh yeah..and got back $9 ECB!!!

      • MD

How did your CVS take the B1G1 coupon for the Ragu??? It is for buy 2 sauces and get a box of pasta free???????

        • Cargrease79

Maybe your coupon is different? Like Kristen, I also received a B2G1 Free Ragu sauce. Nothing about pasta there.

        • Qqueen

my Q's are also for free noodles, but you always need them.

    • Sheila

Is anyone still getting in-store $$off coupons by email any more? I haven't gotten one in months!

      • Ashley

I get them every week. not sure why but it works for me! i've been getting them every week for about a month and a half now

      • PaulaB

Hardly ever. And it used to be weekly. I don't even get anything good out of the kiosk. I'll be with a friend who gets crazy coupons out of the thing, and I just get $1 off candy or something!

        • MD

Me too PaulaB…..I dont know why this is happening to us…:(

    • Diane

I went to CVS yesterday and bought got the Skippy that was on sale. I couldnt find the coupons, but later found them at home. Will they give me the money if I take them my coupons and reciept?

      • Guest

I know publix does..i'd just call so that way you dont make a trip there for nothing.

        • Amt1218

Most stores will not give you the difference back for the coupon. But they will let you return it and then re ring it and use your coupon. I get so agravated at Walmart, if I am not paying really close attention they will hit the done button before I have time to hand them my coupons. I used to always swipe my debit card and then turn and start helping put my bags into the cart. Not anymore, because once they have hit the final button they then cannot subract you coupons. They will tell you take it to the front customer service counter and they will fix it! PAIN IN THE BUTT!

      • Natalie559

My friend did this once, forgot to use her diaper coupon at cvs, she returned later that day when she found it and they gave her the money at the register for the coupon value. So worth a try.

      • Dianne

I have never had a problem at any CVS, Rite Aid, Publix or Kroger when I have taken coupons later that I forgot to use. Walgreens is always a different story. :)

    • Meganclaycohen

wow last night I went to cvs to get my cvsing on and i went ahead and brought my coupon(Free One Touch Delica Lancing Device, max $19.99, SS 10/31) the delica was on sale for 9.99, I was also able to use the 5 off 15 healthy coupon, sounds crazy but i had to go back and get 4 bags of chips and a drink so that the store didnt owe me money!!!! my coupon took off 19.99 !! go try it out its like 10-15 dollars free!!!! so i got the delica, blistex, herbal essence shampoo, 4 bags of chips 2 sodas, candy and i still got 3.50 in ecbs…

      • Aberrier2002

I went today and my coupon only took off 9.99 which was the sale price, but I did get a toothbrush because I called a store and she said she only had one and she saved it for me because I was only 10 min away!!! Thanks to that nice lady at cvs I finally got the toothbrush!!:)

      • wendyc33

i didnt think cvs would allow the overage.

        • Laura

cvs here in augusta doesnt allow overage

    • Owensnmb

I went to CVS yesterday, of course, NO toothbrushes!! But I did scan my card and get a -5/25 q. So I took advantage of the Scott paper towels and TP, Skippy peanut butter, and Spaghetti sauce. Got $4 ECB back. Not too bad.

      • Be sure to get a raincheck! :-)

    • Chelmert0927

I went to CVS today, and tried to use a Smart Source printable coupon for the Fiber One bars. Cashier said I couldn't use it. Asked for a mgr., got asst. mgr. said I couldn't use it (and also pointed out she had been in retail for ten years, so she knows what she's doing). When asked why they didn't take them, she said that they don't get reimbursed for them because they are fraudulent. I asked if there was anyone else I could talk to about it. Got the mgr. He said no go, and when I asked him who said they were fraudulent, he pulled out an email from June that was concerning SS and coke coupons. It said that there were fraudulent coupons for Coke circulating, and to watch for them. I guess they interpreted that to mean not to take the SS's at all. I asked for a copy of it. he refused, and he wanted to know why. I said, so that when I call corporate, I will have from you, in writing the reason you won't take my manufacturers coupon. He at first refused, then when I asked him to personally put it in writing for me, he said okay he'd make the copy. Then the District Mgr. came over and said I could use it. When I asked if it was CVS's policy, he said that they would need to do some further checking into the situation, and that I should call back and ask the mgr. what they figured out. I explained to them that I understood about the fraud, but that my coupon had the watermark “S,” and didn't even really look like the ones from the email. Anyway, I'm writing to corporate and I'll see what they say. Anyone else have problems with the printable SS coupons?

      • Guest

I havent had this problem but wow what a headache. I cant understand about the Coke coupons but yours wasnt even for coke or anything lol Sorry you had such a problem and hopefully corporate gives you answers!

      • I've never had a single problem with ANY coupons, Smart Source or otherwise at CVS. At the two stores I shop, every single cashier and manager is super nice & helpful, to the point that I just don't go if I am in a hurry because I know I'll end up chatting for a half-hour. They even accept expired Qs! I just used the SmartSource Fiber One Q yesterday with no problems. I think CVS as a chain really pushes customer service, so you should definitely follow up with the store or district manager. Sorry you had a bad experience–that always sucks the joy out of Qing! :-)

      • liz

Yes! My CVS told me the same thing. I didn't have time to wait and talk to all the managers like you did. Mine were for two $2 off Revlon coupons from SS. So, I just came home, mailed them out to the address on the coupon and told them what happened. About 3 weeks later, I received a $5 gift certificate for ANY Revlon product from the manufacturer apologizing because they cannot override certain companies' policies. Soo, if you ever run into that problem again, just mail the coupons they wouldn't take with a copy of your receipt to the address on the coupon, and more than likely, they'll make up for it! :)

        • Chelmert0927

Thanks for the tip, Liz! All of this hassle was for a $.50 coupon! To me it was the principle. I just asked them to explain why they would accept SS coupons from the newspaper, and also other printable coupons, but not the SS printables. I think after awhile and after looking at the email (which only said about the Coke fraud), they knew they were wrong, but wouldn’t say so.

    • PaulaB

They didn't have the toothbrushes, but you can get 3 replacement heads for $5 after the coupon. Considering the heads are normally $15 – $20 for a 3 pack, you're still doing pretty good.

    • Jjohnsoncoupons

Anybody in the Birmingham area been able to find the toothbrushes? I have a raincheck from the last time & I keep calling several stores before I go in to see if they have it. NONE of them ever seem to have it.

    • Misscoup

There was a $2.00 off Cover Girl & Olay products on the back page of the Parade magazine insert from the Oct-24 AJC.

    • Brittany

Went in to get the truematch L'Oréal makeup for $8 each and used the $5 off two products coupon (wasn't going to be a great deal but I'm loyal to that product) and they rang up at 75% off. So got foundation and powder for $.98. Might go back tomorrow and get more! At the Summerville SC location

      • Sunshine

I just did the same thing, because of your comment! Thanks for saving me a bundle :-). I price checked each of the items, I got foundation, powder, and two lipsticks and used 2 $5 off Loreal coupons. I paid less that $4 for all of it!! I also found two toothbrushes!! Fun day at CVS.

        • wendyc33

i posted this deal earlier, and they also have maybelline foundation too on sale. there is make up coupons on redplum.com.

      • KNM

Thanks for the heads up :) I just went in and got foundation, powder, and 2 blushes and used the coupons – made it super cheap!

      • momof3inATL

Thanks for the head's up. Read my thread above re: Beauty Club Rewards, if it applies.

      • Dianne

Where did you get the $5 off 2 L'Oreal coupons? Thanks!

    • Cclips

Just got back from my not so great CVS trip. The Aquafresh deal of $5.00 ECB on $10 is AFTER Coupons! When I got 2 @3.00 and 1@4.89 for a total of $10.89, used $3.00 in Q’s, it still says I need $3.97 to earn reward??? Mgr. said it now rings up on total spent after Q’s, but it still didn’t add up?? Confused–and they are out of toothbrushes.

    • Kimberly

My CVS wouldn't let me use both Q's for the dry idea. They said I had to use one or the other. Just a heads up…

    • Tsu

On B1G1 deals at CVS do I have to get both items for the B1G1 price or can I just purchase one and get it for half price. Thanks for any help you all can give.

      • Rhonda

It's a true B1G1. You have to pay full price for 1 and get 1 free.

        • Tsu

          Thank you!

      • ChrissyPunkin

I noticed a cool thing yesterday at Rite Aid, though, and I wonder if it applies at CVS. If I'm trying to use a $5 off $25 coupon, I need the subtotal to be at least $25. But, if I've bought things that are B1G1, the free one counts toward the subtotal. Has anyone noticed this at CVS?

        • Dianne

No, I haven't had that happen to me at CVS—or at Rite Aid! You got a deal!

    • Sonya

Suprisingly I was able to purchase two of the toothbrushes on Sunday in Orlando. I couldn't find them anywhere the last time they were on sale. A cashier previously told me CVS was not ever getting anymore. I was quite suprised to see them back on sale.

    • Amanda28j

So I went to my local CVS (moncks cornor,sc) to get the toothbrushes.. I asked the manager if they would be getting more in. He proceed to tell me that they had 23 and it went to only 4 customers. so I ask him how this happen when it is 2 per household. He tells me that they pull out 6 yes 6 rewards card Yes that means 12. Because she puts them in her uncle, brother, dog,cat names. I ask him why he lets them do this because that is just wrong.. The tells me he asked her to save some for the rest of the customers. and you see that they did not. He tells me does this every sunday she is there before they open the door. I understand this is a great deal but really lady… So Im asking Jenny maybe you can make a big announcment on coupon etiquette so others can shop too. you know we all are tring to save money ! THIS IS JUST CROOKED THANKS

      • Guest

People in here do it all the time. They buy 15 packs of diapers, 10 bottles of Gain dish soap, etc. They are also the ones that use 5 different computers to get coupons that have a limit of 2 coupons per printer, meaning they snag all the great printable coupons before anyone else can get them.

      • Barkleybabe_4

Im suprised that the manager let her do that. although i guess he probably doesnt care because he makes money either way. I only have 1 card but sometimes i use my moms if theres a good deal on toothpaste or something because I donate stuff like that. but this is a bit ridiculous!! Some people are so greedy! Its sad

      • love2Q

I am with you on this…

      • CVSJAX

I have seen a lady pull out eight cards….please people stop the greed!

        • I agree! Being thrifty does not mean the same as being greedy! Please stop the greed, indeed!

      • sickofthosewhoabusethesystem

I AGREE! I am so tired of people who ruin things for everyone else and this type of action cause the rules to change. It also causes the stores and their employees to hate couponers!!!!

      • sickofthosewhoabusethesystem

Sounds like the Ladson Rd. CVS…..As a matter of fact Im sure this person has more toothbruses than they can shake a stick at. I have seen certain people take pictures of their purchases. I saw one lady post a pic with like 16 bottles of tide detergent all bought in the same day……This person posts pics often and there is always more than 10 (sometimes 20) of two or three items in the picture. Once again I understand their are no rules as long as you have the coupons to do this but I could never take every last bottle of something off of a shelf unless there were only the 2 I was purchasing…….This is also why stores implement limits on how many to buy but if you have more than one card you can abuse those limits. AND abuse those limits many times over at more than ONE store…..(Hint…Pics people post of tons of same item). I have been couponing for less than a year and I see the changes stores have made and also the coupon companies because of the abuse and greed of a select few…….

    • Rlmorin3

Anybody in Myrtle Beach or surrounding area who takes the Sun nes? If sowhat coupons did you have for the Ragu?

    • donna

Hey – on the ad, i noticed that you can trade your old Christmas lights in for $3

on LED lights. Has anyone tried this?

      Price? thanks, donna in Georgia

Let me make a good point here. i know i have ruffled a couple feathers on here and i apologize, but i think it is RIDICULOUS AND UNNECESSARY for someone to have numerous CVS cards like 8 +. There are plenty of people out there who would also like to get the deals that CVS offers and people with numerous cards don't allow that to happen. There is no reason why your dog needs a CVS card. They don't come in to shop and if they did they wouldn't be allowed, can't have dogs in CVS :) Why has the world become so greedy like really how many Vitality toothbrushes does one person need, you only have so many teeth in your mouth to brush. I'm sure many of you agree with my point. By people doing that it only ruins the rewards for everyone else.

      • love2save

        im with you

    • Abby 2

      • ALL5

        I couldn't find them either??

      • Tjlady1227

I had two inserts from that date one of them had them one did not.

      • msivory20

I received them in the mail this week in a Smart Source flyer type thing.

    • momof3inATL

Beauty Club Rewards: All.. I used my $5.00 off of $10.00 Wet n Wild cosmetics coupled with a $3 off of $10 q. My subtotal was $2.93 before ECBs. The point is, I managed to increase my Beauty Club Rewards balance by approximately $26 dollars. If you couple this with the L'Oreal q's (see Brittany's thread below), you may find yourself very close to the $50 mark to receive $5 ECBS with very little OOP. HTH

      • momof3inATL

Sorry! I should mention that the WnW is buy 1 get one for 50% off. I ended up with 6 bottles of nail polish and 1 lip gloss for my tween and niece. If you need to gift these, find your local battered woman's shelter. These ladies would enjoy any pampering type luxury!

    • Missglitzsc

Can’t wait for the Black Friday Add, I just got a sneak peek at it from http://www.blackfriday.net! Lots of free stuff at CVS! YaYYYYY!

    • Mandyinfl

Has anyone been able to get an ECB if you are .01 short of a deal? I want to buy the Pro-X eye cream (planning too anyways) its 24.99 and you need to spend $25 for the $10 ecb?? Anyone know?

      • Amy

Yes, usually if it is within a few cents you will still get the ECB.

    • momof3inATL

Did any one receive their CVS q's today? I purchased the peanut butter deal today… ARGH!

      • Dianne

What cvs q's are you talking about?

        • momof3inATL

I received two flyers from CVS today. One had a variety of qs including one for 75C off peanut butter. Most of them are CVS qs. I was so excited I failed to look through the remainder of my mail which had another CVS mailer for $4 off of 60ct Tums. The is a CVS q and not an mfg q.

    • Jenn

Just and FYI I just got a coupon book mailed from cvs ( not the Christmas book one) and it has more store coupons in it. There is an unilever one that can be used this week.

      • Jlhiggins1527

I received a CVS coupon book too!! It had one for Dove Bodywash for Men and there's a coupon out there too..it's on sale this week for $3.99, I think. So that made it $1.99..yea!!

        • Jlhiggins1527

          Pantene hairspray…$2 ECB…

    • Guest

Just made a great trip to CVS…bought 1 Herbal Essences Conditioner and 1 Fiber one bar pack. Used $50 off Fiber one and $2 off “One Clairol Family” coupon for the shampoo. The register didn't beep and accepted the clairol coupon no problem. Used $5 ECB and wound up with a -.21 cent balance. Had to buy a 33 cent piece of candy to make up for the difference and walked out paying 15 cents…and $5 ECB!

      • All4kristina

where is the $2 off “One Clairol Family” cpn? I have 6 girls in the house and could really use that deal.

        • Suzanne

I believe it is from the 10/31 PG insert.

    • Susan

Went to my CVS (Abingdon, VA) and guess what they were out of the Oral B vitality floss action toothbrush. I got a rain check just hope they get it before the $10.00 coupon expires.

      • guest

I've had that happen and I kept checking every week for the items to be in stock to use my rain check with my coupon. I asked the manager about coupons expiring before they get items back in stock, and she told me they will still take the coupon because “its not your fault we don't have them in stock.” So you might want to ask the manager.

    • Meggiemoo

I am new to Q shopping at CVS, how does the ECB part work? I don't get the X amount of ECB back right then for that purchase, do I? Is it like I have to shop there a bit to get ECB credit first?

      • Cecilia

the ECB for the item(s) you purchase print off on the reciept for that transaction.

        • Meggiemoo

          thanks :)

    • love2Q

where did you get the buy two get one free ragu

    • love2Q

Meggiemoo, You only get the ECB on certain products… not on every item. Look at your add… Example: You get $two Extra Bucks Awards back on Aussie Shampoo or conditioner… notice at the bottom of this… offer one per family… Look to the left… Dial or Tone… you can use 2 coupons for this sale but there are no EB rewards… Make Sense?

      • love2Q

      • Meggiemoo

        got it! thanks! :)

    • Jparker142

I went to CVS and bought a bunch of the Loreal Makeup that was 75% off. (Only way I can afford it :) and used ALL my Loreal cupons, even face wash and moisturizer Qs will work!!! I used like 9 coupons, I Saved over $176 on this trip. And I finally got a toothbrush. Yay!

      • mary10114

        I got 3) compact foundations, 2) lipsticks, 1) blush for $4.03, over $2.00 of that was TAX! Used 2 $5.00 q's & 2 $2.00 qs Yippie!

      • Imousework

How much was your oop? Thanks!

    • Jparker142

      Live in PC, FL and didn't get a Q for Ragu… :(

      • Vince5428

        me either ;(

    • Sara

Question: Can anyone tell me what RP and SS stand for and where to find those coupons? Thanks!

      • Mary10114

RP = Red plum, SS = Smart Source

        • Sara

are these online printable coupons? If so, can you only find them on the date listed?

          • Amy J.

If it is printable, Jenny will usually have a link that says “printable” by it.

The dates you see after the RP or the SS are the week the coupon was in the Sunday paper, which is listed in small print on the binding of the insert. HTH

      • Mary10114

At my local CVS only certain Loreal products were 75% off, some did ring up a a little less than $4.00. but a great deal with the coupons, I got 3 compact fondations, 1 blush & two lipsticks for $4.03 chaching! lol

      • Imousework

      • Amy J.

Thanks so much for the heads-up on the Loreal at 75% off!!!

I just got back from CVS and got 3 Loreal cleansers (used one $3/2 Q and a $1/1 Q) and 2 Glade diffusers (on clearance for $2.75 each, used my B1G1 Q)……paid $5.76 including tax :-)

      • Shauntae

Where did you get the coupons?

    • blatylcas

I went to CVS for the first time tonight and was disappointed!

I went to check out and the guy rang up all my items and told me that I could use only 1 coupon for the BOGO items!

I thought I could use a coupon for both items? I am thinking about calling the 800 number tomorrow and asking about it…what do ya'll think??

      • Barkleybabe_4

I use 2 coupons on BOGO items all the time. Ive never had a problem so im guessing that its ok to do so. I'd give the 800 number a call. I believe the cashier was wrong. HTH

    • Tfwsaver

I scanned my CVS card today and got $3 off purchase of $15…..When my ECB printed, I got another $3 off of $15!

    • Ladybugpam

      • Jessie

I am new to CVSing – do they have special deals on black friday???

        • Dianne

Yes. The deals should be in their flyer next week.

        • FreedomSpradley1

You can see the ad now by going to www dot iheartcvs dot com.

      • Dianne

Where did you get a 3/15 coupon?

        • Shauntae

I may have typed it wrong. I meant to say I used 3 of the $3 dollars off of $15. I alaways get them. I get them from the machine before shopping and they print on my receipts whe nI finish shopping. Hope that helps.

          • Mary10114

I thought you could only use one x / xx coupon?

            • Shauntae

No you can use as many as your total will take. For example a $50.00 dollar order. You can use a 5/25- which makes it $45.00 – then use 3/15 say you have 4 – so that will subtract 12.00 – making the total $33.00- and this is all before coupons – you want to use these when the total is at certain point. I hope this helps.

            • Jwcanada21

Actually, I am a cvs employee, your only allowed to use 1 x/xx coupon. If you read the bottom of the receipt it will say limit of 1 of something like that. Most stores will “make it work” if you are spending over $75, but some stores will not.

    • Melanie

Cordele, GA CVS manager ROCKS!!! We got lots of Oral B Toothbrushes!!!! Thank you James!!!

    • DavidR

Does anyone know why this deal idea did not work for me. When I purchased the items, it took the coupons off the products so I saved the three dollars from manufacturer coupons, but I was not able to get the $5.00 ECB because the total of the products went down to 7.99, I am new at this so if anyone understands why it didn't go as planned let me know.
      **Deal Idea**
      (2) Aquafresh Toothpastes $3 ea
      (1) Aquafresh Iso-Active $4.99
      (2) -$1 off Aquafresh printable
      -$1 off Aquafresh Iso-Active
      Total Due: $7.99
Get Back: $5 ECB, makes it $1 ea

      • Mamaberry

The deal should have printed. The total of $10 is BEFORE coupons. So if they told you differently, they were mistaken. In fact, you will often see “see Sun newspaper for coupons” sitting right in the ad by the sale items. So, they are aware you will be using coupons on your transactions. Ask for a mgr if that happens….

If you don't get an ECB printed, they can force one at the register. Always know what will print. If it doesn't, hand them the ad, show them you purchased the correct items and they should be very courteous about correcting it right then.

If you miss it (like this one) you can do one of two things, call the CVS customer service and they will get one to you. Or stop by the store and point it out. They can fix it right then and there for you.

CVS is SUPER about making it right. hth!!!

      • Emornout

This happened to my. take your iso-active and your receipt to cvs and they should be able to print the ecb

    • amber

Bummed…I just found $7.99 ECB (expired 11/3) in bottom of my purse….anyone know if CVS will accept it or replace it??

      • jamie

I've been told several times by cashiers at CVS that ECB's never expire. And that they will take their store coupons that print at the bottom of your receipt and from the coupon machine till one month after they say they expire. I love it!

        • Earnjr8fan

The stores near me wouldn't even take them one day expired!!! I wish I was as lucky as some of you are. I even emailed customer service and they were pretty much rude in their reply. I wasn't very happy about that.

      • Ginnywade

They will accept it. I have used several that were expired. No problem.

      • Kevinstacy

They will accept a store or ECB 30 days past the expiration – or that's what my CVS told me. …and more than one person has said that to me. Good luck!

      • tori729

Each store has their own policy so please ask your store before assuming. All the stores closest to me don't take them expired, then one takes them a month expired and another a week expired. So every store is different! And sometimes their policies change too. :(

        • Melanieplynch

Very true. I have quite a few CVS stores near me and all of them are really rigid about taking expired ECBs. However, the CVS closest to me is REALLY relaxed about it. There was a time when I had a TON of unused, expired $/$$ coupons that I didn't know what to do with. As the manager was checking me out, he saw them in my binder and asked what they were, so I told him. He shrugged and then used each and every one of them on my current purchase. I questioned him about it and told him I thought we were only allowed to use one $/$$ on each purchase. He said “We can do whatever we want for customers….just as long as we don't do it for store employees.” I ended up paying $3 for a pretty big purchase which included paper towels, a toy car, Pantene s&c, toilet paper, dish soap, Toy Story 3, etc! So, getting to know the cashiers at your local store really helps.

    • Imousework

An extra care coupon printed on a recent CVS receipt: $5.00 off $15.00; it expired 11/14/10. Will CVS still accept it?

      • Dianne

    • Imousework

I'm unable to locate the B2G1 Ragu from the 11/14 RP insert. I have found a q for B2 get free pasta.

    • fitz

my store gave me a raincheck on the toothbrush. :)

    • Kevinstacy

Some stores are replacing it with another nice toothbrush AND letting you use the coupon along with still getting the ECB. Mine did! :) If you don't ask you probably wouldn't know.

    • Imousework

Tell me about your Loreal deals. My CVS (corner of Hwy 8 and 324 in Auburn, GA) had it 75% off. I got 75% off a lipstick, but my Truematch powder, blush and foundation did not ring up 75%. I wonder if it rang up wrong.

      • Alissa Thompson

I just got the same deal! I picked up $80 worth of foundation and blush and spent 6 and change. I'm ecstatic!

    • Imousework

Oh, I also went to eight CVS stores; none had the toothbrush. Boo hoo!!!

      • Jwcanada21

i work at a cvs, and the toothbrush that was in the ad was never sent to our store, nor is it in our planagram. In fact, only 1 store in our district received any of them and that was two weeks ago and they got 3. I'm sorry for that, but for whatever reason, sometimes the ad has stuff that most of our stores won't carry.

      • Bonnie Tuggle

Last time they had the toothbrush on sale I got a raincheck for it and finally on Oct. 30th (the last coupon expired on the 31st) I found a store that had 3 of the toothbrushes. I probably went into 15 stores though with no luck. Every store told me they didn't carry them.

I did have one store that let me substitute a different one other than the floss action. Luckily that day I got a manager at the register. Good luck!

      • FreedomSpradley1

I called about 8 stores looking for the toothbrushes a couple weeks back and finally found one that had some in stock. The manager said she had been requesting them since the original sale and she finally got a bunch in. I called back around lunch today to see if by chance they still had any and she said they only had two left. Lucky me got the last two!

      • Melanie

Cordele, GA store still has lots!!!! Our manager ordered lots when he saw that they were gonna be on sale again!!!! Yay!!!!

    • Rachel797

Hit the magic coupon machine yesterday and got a coupon for $1 off palmolive dish soap- it was on sale for $0.99!

    • Chrisandcaryl

Hi! I am new to the CVS system. I went today and did the aquafresh scenario. The cashier told me to get the ECBs my total had to be $10 AFTER my coupons not before. In that case the scenarios do not work like they are listed. Any suggestions?????

      • Melanieplynch

Wrong! What a terrible first CVS experience. I'm so sorry! Sounds like you didn't get a very good cashier. The ECBs should print out automatically if you've purchased the correct amount of items. Did you go through with the purchase? If so, what does the bottom of your receipt say? It keeps track of your purchases, so it should tell you how much you need to spend in order to get the ECBs.

Don't get discouraged. Everyone has a couple bad trips when they're first starting out. Just do the math before you go and try to be as prepared as possible with all of your coupons to decrease the possibility of any unpleasant surprises at the register.

      • Kassiaowens

The same thing happened to me today :( Sad for my first day of CVSing….I should have said something, but I was nervous!

    • I had a great trip this week to cvs.. with my total cost only being $0.81!! Plus I ended up with a $4 off $20 purchase coupon that printed on my receipt!! Sweeeeet :) You can check out my website because I have a picture of my purchase!

    • Lgraves

I want to pay for my purchase with ECB's and coupons-which do I give the cashier first? Lou

      • dculick

        Coupons for sure.

    • dculick

Went in tonight and a CVS coupon for $1 off Godiva Gems came out of the CVS coupon machine. Then I went and found a tiny box (3 pcs. of choc.) of Godiva Gems for $1.50…so, I got a fancy choc. fix for .50! This didn't print out yesterday when I went in, so it must be new today.

    • ASage

Can't believe I scored an Oral B Vitality toothbrush & replacement heads tonight at a CVS I just happened to be near (and had my coups)~ Also got $5 off from the Minuteclinic lady and $5 off when I swiped my CVS card ~in all just had to pay tax for these items – can you say STOCKING STUFFERS!

      • ASage

Oh yeah – called ahead and the saleslady said they only had one. I asked if she would hold for me and she did – what service!!!

    • Livserge331

I went to the newest CVS in town today and like others have said, there wasn't even a spot for the Vitality electric toothbrush. Which is weird, because my usual store, which is a remodeled Revco in a strip, has had the toothbrush for both the deals (and more than just one or two.) I would have thought a brand new store would be more on the ball than that – and it's not like they don't have room as that place was almost twice as big as the old Revco. Oh well – I already got two on my card; I was just trying to score another on my husband's seldom used card since I had 3 of the $10 coupons.

I did get some great deals on L'oreal makeup, though. Thanks to the people here who mentioned it! Got over $80 worth for less than $6. Only certain shades and kinds are marked down, so make sure you check each item at the coupon center scanner. I got one True Match super blendable compact makeup in shade C1 (alabaster), three Feel Naturale Light softening one-step makeup (which I assume is a cream powder) in shade 227 (soft ivory), and two Feel Naturale powder blushes in shades 289 and 287 (mauvelous and rustica). I used the $5 off 2 face product coupons from last week's RP. I had three so I got 6 items. I did have a bunch of $2 off 1 coupons I also clipped, but I pretty much wiped out all the shades that were suitable for me. They had more shades of blushes, and lots of the True Match super blendable in darker shades. They also said all HIP eyeliner was 75% off but the black one I checked wasn't on clearance. They had HIP shocking eyeshadows on markdown too, but they were the loose powder kind in a little jar with a brush. I like the packed powder kinds better as they seem to stay on. Also, I don't like single shade eyeshadows – I always get the triple ones with a dark, medium, and light color in the same tones as that makes a better effect.

      • The Starr

I went to CVS Saturday arond 6pm and the cashier told me the L'oreal makeup was on sale 75% off. She knows I love coupons. I went home to clip the 5.00 off and 2.00 off any L'oreal item. I returned at 8:30 and she said the sale was not coming up on the register, so she honored the 75% off sale. I got over 300.00 worth of true touch blend, lipstick, lip liner for less than 8.00! I called another store early this morning and the sale person said it was on sale last week for one week, I guess this was not posted in the ad? It really pays to get to know the cashiers, I was only in the store to check the coupon machine. My gut instinct told me to go back that night because my shade may not be there in the morning, and most sales go from Sun- Sat. The sales on under neath the makeup said good until 12/27. The cashier said the makeup is getting a new line so it may be on clearance? I will check another store to see if it is 75%. Great timing….Awesome sale!!!!

    • macboy

As of 3:30pm EST, there are still 2 Oral-B Vitality Toothbrushes left in stock at 3212 Curry Ford Road. I just walked out with two. Great and inexpensive Christmas presents. The other CVS's in that neighborhood didn't have any. Let me know if you're the winner!

    • Kwkcoupons

I was able to use the toothbrush ECBs twice over this past week! I also used a coupon from the in-store printer for a $25 gift card with a new prescription, and $10 off a $50 purchase. After stocking up on deodorant and toothpaste, pencils and crayola (on sale) for my OCC boxes, my total went from $102 down to $30!! I can't believe coupons saved me so much money. The cashier was dumbfounded and other people in line started making comments. I'm so thankful to live in a world full of coupons & discounts! You can bet I'm sharing this technique with everyone I know.

    • Caritob40

FYI, I am not sure if you all know, but, the Q for the carmex you can use both even though is not the same item pictured. Also, the mars(snickers, m&ms, etc) does not have to be holiday candy…I was able to use it with no problem….that and a bunch of expired coupons :) LOVE CVS
