    • Savannah

Thanks Jenny! I have been waiting all afternoon for your post. :)

    • Grace

Jenny, I’m wondering if you visit the Kroger on St. Andrews in Cola. A few weeks ago I went and the coupon faerie had already been there; I found coupons stuck in-between or on top of products on nearly every row… Thank you to whoever you are Coupon Faerie! And thank you Jenny for keeping up with such a wonderful site:)

    • Lynn

when i used the kraft cheese coupon the cashier just put it in as $0.75 off so maybe others will put it in for free

    • Lela

I like the thoughts you include on selected deals so, no, I hope you won’t keep your thoughts to yourself. I would love to see a post that lists the best deals by item. For instance if you need to stock up on flour, this week’s best deal is found at Kroger or whatever the case may be. Of course this might be a blogger’s nightmare…

I love your site & very much appreciate all your hard work. Thanks

    • MelRae

Hey Jenny! Happy Birthday to your youngest!

I have $1 off the Carl Budding Deli Lunch Meats coupons from the 1/18 Red Plum, I think. Check me on that. It is for the 12oz, which is on sale, so it should work. My ad says “save $4.39 on 2”. So that should make each pack about $1.20 with coupon!

    • Stacy

Jenny I am also in the southeastern region sales zone. When I went shopping today I noticed quite a few 10/$10 sales in the store. Here are a few deals that I was able to coupon match with.

Betty Crocker Boxed Potatoes 10/$10 (various coupons out that make them .20-.50 each)

Hunts 8oz Tomato sauce .48 ( -.40/2 coupon from a conagra coupon booklet that was at Kroger last month for super bowl – these doubles make each can .08)

Campbells Tomato and Chicken Noodle Soup .64 (-.40/2 coupon from one of the recent inserts makes each can .24)

There were many other 10/$10 items that did not have coupons to match up with but they might be of interest to some, so be on the lookout when heading to the store.

    • Samantha

Thanks for the list as always – great job!

I found a couple more to add to the list:

Progresso Soup – 2 Shortcuts coupons for .50/2 cans.
Fiber One Yogurt – $1.00/1 coupon on Cellfire and Shortcuts
Green Giant Bagged Veggies – .50/1 coupon on Shortcuts – there is a Green Giant coupon for $1.00/1 in the Pillsbury home mailer, so would make it .50 for the bag.

    • Ellie

On the Smartsource printable link, I saw no Cottonelle coupon. Is it gone?

    • Bonnie

Today I shopped at Kroger in Columbia on St Andrews road. I had 6 printed Cottonelle coupons and two printed Progresso coupons and the cashier would only take total of three printed coupons. When I asked the cashier she replied that this was a new store policy.
      Anyone else had this problem??

    • Misty

Is it only my kroger that has a new internet coupon policy? You can only use 2 coupons from the same manufacturer and only one if they are exactly the same coupon. And last time I went my 50 cent cottonelle coupon didn’t double?!

    • Bonnie

I shopped at Kroger today in cola at St Andrews Road. I tried to use 6 internet coupons for Cottonelle and two internet coupons on progresso soup and the cashier would only take three internet coupons total.. She said that was the new policy???

    • I had a problem at the Kroger on St Andrews Road, Cashier would only take 3 internet coupons total. Has anyone else had this problem?

    • Kimberly

      Dial Liquid Soap .88¢ ea
-.35/1 Dial Soap (will not double) SS 01/04 (makes it .53¢ ea)

Why won’t this coupon double? Still a great deal….

    • Jenny

It won’t double because the bar code starts with a 9. Any coupon that starts with a 9 will never double, the computer is set to double coupons that start with 5 only.

    • Gwen

Was at Kroger (St Andrews Rd) yesterday and they had half gal of milk for 99 cents!! Of course, I had just left Wal-Mart and paid $2.89 a gal. Still a good deal, but not as good.

My first trip to Kroger and I had a question about the cell fire and the CSR looked at me like I was crazy.

I had 4 internet coupons (2 for Cottonelle, 2 for Progresso)and had no problems. I used the self checkout.

    • Hi Jenny – I received some coupons from Kroger today – they are $5/$45 and $6/$60 – Woo-hoo! The large print on the coupon states that they are good on a single purchase of $45 or $60 AFTER deduction of Plus card savings and mfr coupons. The fine print says “Purchase requirement met before tax & discounts.” Is this saying two different things, or am I reading it wrong? Help!

    • Jenny

They are saying 2 different things. I would go with the fine print which is to your advantage and just hand over that coupon first. I doubt they will give you a problem but if they do point them to the fine print.

    • Thanks Jenny! I’ll do a post later with today’s trip – I copied and pasted your Publix and Kroger lists and did very well!

    • Beth

I got a letter from P&G today saying the products circled on my receipt were not P&G products. I bought $52.00 worth of P&G products before coupons to get the $5 off twice from Krogers. I know all the products were P&G or I wouldn’t have gotten the money off from Krogers. I think it’s the way Krogers lists the items. They don’t say P&G or even the name of the item in some cases. I sent in my reciept without making a copy so I guess I’m out of luck with the $120 in coupons. This is a lesson learned! Does any body have any idea how to communicate with these people? I’m writting a letter to return with the letter they sent me but I have NO PROOF. I don’t think I will participate in any more of these deals! I feel cheated!

    • Gen

To Beth: I have had problems with P&G as well. They refused to give me a rebate so I politely wrote them back and explained the error. I did not make copies of the receipt that I sent either( since then I have been smarter). I later received the rebate- sometimes it pays to be polite. Try to write them and explain that Kroger is not labelling their items correctly in the computer and that is not your error –that is a computer error that people can rectify.

    • Beth

Thanks Gen! I was upset earlier. I have calmed down, and I’m now writing a very polite letter! I hope it works. :>)

    • Michelle T.

I am new to your site, thanks to my sister telling me about you. I can not tell you how much you have helped me. I am a mother of 4 and on a VERY tight budget right now and sooo appreciate your extra time and energy to help out so many people! Believe me that it is NOT unnoticed! Thank you so much!

    • Margrett

I went to the Kroger on Forest Drive in Columbia on 2/17 and the cashier would not take my printable because it was not in color. New store policy she said.

    • crystal

Does your Kroger ad run Sunday to Sunday? Mine is running Wednesday to Tuesday. I have to wait several days for yours to catch up so that I know which coupons to match with my items. Frustrating.

    • susan

I am in Plano,Texas and our Kroger has never accepted ANY printable coupons!!! Wish I was in your town!!!

    • Jenny

Our ad does run Sunday to Sunday. Normally our ad is out before yours though. Is your store running these deals last week?

    • crystal

Yes, Jenny, these were last week’s deals. New deals came out today. I just wait until Sunday or Monday to do my Kroger shopping. Thanks.

    • Our ad runs from Wed. to Thurs. too here in North Texas but we have the ad that Jenny has already put up… so I have three days to put together my coupons before hitting the store on Wed. It is super nice, so thanks Jenny!

    • Gabby

Random question about using coupons: I have a “Save $1.50 on 1 bag of Birds Eye steamfresh meals for 2”, and then I have a “Buy one steamfresh meals for 2” get a free “steamfresh” veggies or rice. Can I use these together???

    • Jenny

Yes, you can as long you have two steamfresh items in your buggy you can use two coupons!!

    • Keely

I shop at the St. Andrews Kroger in Irmo (intersection of Woodrow St & Lake Murray Blvd) and have NEVER encountered a problem with my printable coupons, ecoupons, or paper coupons. The managers there are phenomenal and greet me every time I am there (which is more than once a week). I only run into the St. Andrews Kroger on occasion, but even still I have yet to have a problem there and actually just bought 5 cottenelle tp using printable coupons at both stores… no problem! Hope that helps. if you mean the Irmo store, Mr. Gainey (the bald manager) is really helpful so you might want to ask him if you have the problem again.

    • Amanda

stupid question…. How do you know if the e coupons work? I get an error when I select the coupon but then it says it’s attached to my card… I don’t get it. When/where, in the transaction in store, do the e coupons show up?

    • Jenny

You will see them on your receipt next to the item you bought, sometimes if you look at the right time you will see them on the screen, but it is fast when the screen does all the final adjustments to price.

After you load some on the card you can log out and then log back in and see the list of what is loaded.

    • i’m having a problem with my p&g coupons on my krogers card most of the time they never come of at the cash resgister is it just me

    • Kim

Well, I went to Kroger in Acworth, GA (off 92) this evening with a good list and coupons in hand. I was informed at the register though that they no longer accepted printables in B&W – they had to be in color. I asked the cashier when this policy started since I had used some last Saturday and he said it had been that way for awhile. I tried pointing out that not only did they all have different numbers (not copies!!!), but it also clearly stated on the coupon that it may appear in black and white or color. No go. I suppose some bad apples have spoiled the bunch.

    • Ellie

I’m not sure I’ve seen it advertised anywhere, but our Kroger(near Cincinnati) had Healthy Choice Soup cans on sale for $1(reg. $2.49). They also had a dispenser providing 45 cents off two coupons(does not double). They’re 78 cents each.
