    • Yeah, a Mega Sale. Mine won't start till Wednesday, I think the 1.00/1 Nabisco Cracker coupon expires the 15th, so I better hurry. Thanks for the match-up

    • Mendy

I noticed this in the ad:

Bone-In Wings 24 ct or Boneless Wings 35 ct at $7.99 ea
-$3 wyb (2) Coke 2 liter or (1) Twin Pack AND Chicken Wings (instant savings)

I found a tearpad manufacturer q in my Kroger last week for the same thing ($3 off wyb wings 20 ct + and two Coca Cola 2-liters. I assume I can use both and get a 35 ct. wings and 2 2-liters (on sale for $0.79) for $2.58? Or can the instant savings not be combined with the manufacturer coupon?

      • Mendy

Or is the $3 instant savings already included in the price? I couldn't tell by looking at the ad…

        • TMoney

The prices listed includes the $4 instant savings. So if you buy 8 cokes, it would be $6.32

      • carolyn090

me too. i was wandering if i could buy 8 2-liter cokes and if there is a limit ? im a complete coke-a- halic! that would be about 2.30 for 8 cokes.is the entire list included?

        • kara

I checked out the Ad… Jenny listed the price after the $4.00 discount. The original price for Coke is $1.29 but it takes $.50 each if you get eight. So, the price for 8 cokes is $.79 each (6.32 for all). You could get all eight coke products or mix and match with other items in the sale.

          • carolyn090

thanks sooo much, the listed prices did seem to low to be before the
discount , i was prepaired to try and order cases of them, but if you have
coupons you can really save a bunch on other things.

I understand you have to buy 8 cokes to get the $0.79 price–I'm asking about the price of the hot wings. Has anyone gone and checked this deal out? Is the $3 savings included in the $7.99 price or will the final price be $4.99 for the wings (wyb two cokes)?

If so, and if your store has the tearpad, you can buy 35 wings and two cokes for $3.57 (assuming you are purchasing 6 other items to get the $4 mega sale discount). Or, use four tearpad qs, buy 8 cokes and 4 wing trays and get 8 2-liters and 140 boneless wings for $14.28.

    • Barb

Wow many of the sale items match up with stuff I need and/or have good coupons for.

Although I would have liked a better price on the Coke 12-packs.:)

    • Is this one going to last 2 weeks like they usually do?

      • Yes!

        • itismedia

Happy Birthday Jenny! I hope it was a great one!

    • 1MiniMom

I just played the March to Savings game and got $5 off my next purchase. That makes this sale even better.

      • JennyU

Thanks for sharing, I only won a King Size Reese's cup. Hey, something is better than nothing though.

        • 1MiniMom

I didn't realize you could play the game more than one time. I think you can play it one time a day. The first time I played I won a bag of Kraft cheese then the next time I didn't win at all.

          • itismedia

You can win twice and then they wont ontinue to load the prizes. You can however, continue to play once a day and they will enter you into the sweepstakes.

            • Lori1029

I played a few times. Won $5off the first time and then three or four days later, won $5 off again. The second time, it didn't load for me and I emailed Kroger and they added it to my card. They did mention that you could only win twice and further plays were just going to be entries in the sweepstakes. But all in all, I got $10 off my groceries!

            • waymire

i won three times, planters peanuts, a lunchable, and a pack of peanut butter cups. i have not won since then though…. i was wondering what was going on.

      • jennae

I can't find this game. Where is it?

        • Shirley

go to Kroger.com. A banner will be on the page that switches three times, one of the times will say March to Madness. Click on it and it will take you to the game.

          • jennae

            Thank you!

    • My ad pictures the Ronzoni Healthy Harvest AND the Smart Taste

      Free PASTA!!!

      • bunchofpants

I was just at my kroger, and it judging by the slef tags it looks like ALL the Ronzonis are included.

        • Mrssmith

Smart Taste was marked at mine. Maybe ask at customer service?

      • Sherry

        Mine didn't include either.

    • savysaver

Why would you not get two of something if it is B1G1??? It seems you would be losing out except for getting the sale price. If I remeber correctly, they do not split the price between the two items but one comes off as a free item.

      • ireneY

some areas, like mine, ring up 50% instead.

      • amysanders

you can buy one at 50% off at kroger. so you don't have to buy two to get the deal. :)

      • Rose

Kroger actually gives you each item at a 50% discount. So you could just buy one product and get it 50% off. It's not like the drugstore where you have to buy two and one is full price and the other is free.

      • Kim

Not all Krogers do the 50% – just fyi. I live in Ohio and mine charges you full price if you only buy one. Maybe in the south they are all the same. Just a heads up before you spend too much.

    • Martha

Where can I get the Kroger My Magazine

      • Andrea

I wasn't getting it for ages. Go to their website and make sure you are signed up there and that your Kroger card number is correct, etc. I did that and one day I started getting them. It's kind of unpredictable. Hope that helps.

    • Jan

Does Kroger accept Publix Store coupons?

      • amysanders

they don't accept competitor's coupons. hope that helps.

      • Most Kroger stores do not accept competitor coupons, but there are several that I know of that do- so it never hurts to ask!

      • renee06

my kroger will accept competitor coupons…as long as they have a barcode and most publix q's don't. i always just call and ask customer service before i go into the store if i have a question about which coupons they will take.

    • michelenock

      What a terrible sale week!!!!

    • kathy1949

How can I get the Kroger Home flyer and the Kroger My MAgazine?

      • Anonymous

You need to register on Kroger.com
You can enter your kroger card number and they will send you special coupons “just for you” and the coupon booklets from time to time.

    • amy

just wanted to let everyone know that today is JENNY'S BIRTHDAY! :)

      • Andrea

Happy Birthday Jenny! I hope you don't see this message because you are too busy enjoying your birthday with family and good friends. Far, far away from the nearest computer!! Thanks for everything!

      • AKLLHOLL

Happy Birthday!!! Thank you for all you do for us!

      • Georgia

Happy Birthday Jenny!!!You Are The Best!!!

      • SoniaT

Happy Birthday Jenny! Thanks for all you do!

      • Lori

Happy Birthday! I hope you have had a great day! Thanks so much for all that you put into this site.

      • Happy Belated Birthday! You and my son's b-day is the same day! He turned 7 this year :)

    • ireneY

Jenny, your matchups are always appreciated! As for the Kroger prices, they seem high for an actual sale. My guess on the Morningstar is $3.29. Let's play “The Price is Right!” (California prices!!)
At least we have the freebie prizes. Bumble Bee tuna and Del Monte tomatoes are good buys.

    • Barb

The good buys I see that I have written down to get:

12 packs and Ritz (have $2 off so $3.74 for a 12 pack + pack of crackers)

CHEESE!! Have $2/2 so mine will be free

Tyson Anytizers (lots of good Q's out there)

Of course, Coke 2 liters which I have coupons for as well

Dial Soap (Have $1 off so $2 for a multipack)

Ore-Ida fries (have $1.50/2 so $1.04 per bag)

      Bumblebee pouches

      Ken's Dressing

Great sale, especially if you've been shopping the other sale for the past 2 weeks.

Not to mention I am building up to my next cheap Shell fill-up!!

      • kelli

where did you fine the $2/2 kraft coupon????? I would love some of those!!!

        • Dianne

I found mine in a dispenser at Publix by the cheese a couple of weeks ago. Not sure they are still there.

          • kelli

I don't have publix here anyway, so I never would've found them. I've got some $1/2 though, so still a good deal… just not as good as free.

        • Jessica

I just came home from my publix and they have the coupons!!! (Marietta, Ga)

        • ncangel

I also found some B1G1 free blinkies at Food Lion as well. They are only good on the shredded cheese. Hope that helps

      • kristine

hi there, on the prices listed here, Jenny said she listed the price AFTER the $4 off of 8, so the Oreda would be 1.54 a bag, etc..right?

    • Laura

I found a tearpad at CVS for $1/2 Vitamin waters. That will make them $.25 each with mega sale. My CVS has had a bunch of Manufacture coupon tearpads recently.

      • Mrssmith

Walgreens had those coupon tearpads, too! At my Kroger the vitamin waters are .49 after sale-so free after coupon!

    • $SavinMom

There is a coupon for $1 off coupon for Tyson Any'tizer Bag Snacks and a $0.55 cent off coupon for Tyson Any'tizer Box Snacks in the 3/7 SmartSource!

    • Phillis

Any Kroger stores in the Middle Tennessee area have the Kraft cheese for $.99? My store's price is $1.67 after mega savings…bummer…really wanted some free cheese after coupons.

      • Jules

The Maryville, tn ad has Kraft for .99 cents. Hope that helps.

      • Stephanie

In Murfreesboro, they are ringing up 1.67

      • Barb

I guess they are going on demographics since Middle TN is a wealthier area than East TN

      • Middle Tennessee is NOT Southeast region so we have different pricing!! We are in the Louisville region.

See my blog for a complete listing of the Louisville region Mega sale with prices. (click on my name)

        • Stephanie

Thanks! This explains so much. I always wondered why my store's prices were so different than what's listed here.

          • NP! It took me a while to figure it out too. None of the “big blogs” are in our region so when I went to the store I was always disappointed.

However, our coke and lunchables are cheaper than SE region prices. ;)

    • Megan

Does anyone know how many times the $4 will come off per transaction (like if you buy 16 items will $8 come off your total?)

      • There is no limit to the number you can do in one transaction so if you buy 64 items you will get $32 off (8x $4)!

    • KimBuckeyeFan

Can you get $4 off twice if you purchase 16 of the participating items in the same transaction or do you have to do it separately-anyone know??

      • Kristin

You can do it all in one transaction. I went these morning and did 4 of the deals and $16 came off my order.

        • KimBuckeyeFan

Thanks so much Kristin!! This is really awesome!!

    • Christine

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENNYY !!!!!! Is the Kroger deal the usual 4$ of every 8 items(should I attempt to buy in multiples of 8)?? Christine

    • Kathy

If you have a coupon that has printed out from Kroger register for an item to spend only at Kroger can you use it and another coupon on that same item when you check out at the register.

      • Mary

I have done this for Prevacid. For an example I get $6 off Prevacid (Kroger coupon) and pair it with a $4 IP coupon. Hope this helps :)

        • Kathy

Thanks Mary that is what I was talking about specifically, I bought Prevacid and it printed a coupon for it to use at Kroger and I was needing more and wondered if I could use the Kroger coupon plus the MF coupon, so thanks I will try later today and see if my Kroger will allow it.

      • AKLLHOLL

Depends on what it is. Our Kroger will not let us when it is the B1G1 Enfamil and you try to use another MC to take money off the one that we are purchasing. We too have had luck with it when it prints a retailer coupon (like the Oscar Mayer ones that are stacked next to the packs in the lunch meats section). Those you can pair with a MC to take off more money. HTH.

    • DeAnn

There is a $1.00/3 for Coca-Cola 2-liter bottles in the Kroger March to Savings home mailer.

    • DeAnn

Also, Kellogg Pop Tarts $1/2 packages of 12 count in the Kroger home mailer Speeding Toward Race Day. Not sure what size box is on sale.

    • alleyopal

upromise has snyders pretzel coupons too!

    • Happy Birthday Jenny! Thanks for all your helpful info!

    • If anyone is looking for pricing and deals in the Louisville region (Nashville area), I found a bunch of different pricing/deals. I have a (mostly) comprehensive list of Mega deals on my blog, with pricing. (Click on my name)

    • Andrea

HaPpY BiRtHdAy JeNnY!!! Hope you have a wonderful Day!! We appreciate all of your hard work more than words can say!

    • Stephanie

I am totally confused. Do you have to buy 8 of each different item to get the $4 off? Or can you mix and match like 2 cheese, 3 cokes and so on to get the $4 off. Please help before I make my grocery list.

      • Barb

You can mix/match. All their mega sales have worked this way.

      • Darla

You can mix and match any of the participating items.

      • sdavisva

Stephanie, It's mix and match – for every 8 participating items you buy, they take $4 instantly at the register. It helps if you know when you get to the register how many $4 instant savings you should get. If you have any issues, say if you are short making the 8 by 1 or 2 – go to customer service. They will let you buy one more (or 2 more – whatever you need to get to the next level) and give you the $4 back. On your receipt each mega items will be marked with a small plus symbol.

Someone on this site recommended putting items in reusable bags – it has really helped me so I'm not neurotically counting multiples of 10 (or 8 in the case of this sale) all throughout the store. HTH!

        • Tanya

That is a good idea. I usually pile everything in a cart. The when I am done, I go get another cart and count as I trasnsfer them over.

    • Happy Birthday Jenny!!! Thanks so much for all you do.

    • oconeegirl

      What is Kroger My Magazine?

    • Bridget

Had a great trip to Kroger! I even got a really friendly cashier, who said that couponing was an art form :) For mega sale, I got: 8 Kraft cheese using 4 $1/2 coupons, 4 Bumble Bee tuna (Free with 55 cent coupons), 4 Ronzoni pasta (free with $1/2 peelies), 8 cans Del Monte tomatoes using $1/4 coupons. I found some great non-mega sale deals too: a huge bottle of Tide Stain Release marked down from $10 to $4.99 which I used with a $3 coupon. Also, some of the Reach toothbrushes were marked down to $1 – bought 6 using $1 coupons (free!) and then used 6 buy 1 get 1 free coupons for Reach toothbrushes which were full price at $3.79 and got those free too! All told, I spent $12 (including a pound of butter) and saved $92!!! The only time I go to Kroger is for the mega sale, and was it ever worth it today!

      • Sherry

Way to go! I am going back to get more cheese with the $2/2 blinkie coupons I pulled from Publix. Love Kroger when they do these sales.

    • dillard_christina

My store had Snickers bars at the checkouts for 2/$1. The $.50/2 coupon from the 2/21 RP doubles to make two free.

    • Jennifer

My kroger now stopped taking competitor coupons :(

    • maedae93

What a great day to have a birthday Jenny! It's my daughter's 8th birthday today! Happy Birthday!

    • sharon60

Happy Birthday Jenny! Thanks for everything you do. There's a mfg Q on Target for $1.50/1 Anytizer in case anybody needs one.

    • Donna

Be sure to check your receipt before you leave the store. I was just at Kroger and purchased 16 items, but only got $4 off. They quickly refunded my money at the service desk, but I had to wait at the service desk to correct the error.

      • Caroline

I had the same thing happen to me. I knew I had counted 24 items but the Snyder's pretzels didn't ring up. Turns out the whole bunch of them was in the wrong place b/c they were marked for the savings. I was able to go to Customer Service and switch bags and get the $4 back in cash. Wondering now though if I lost money b/c that $4 off would have saved me in taxes?

    • Lynn

Happy Birthday to my new best friend!!! Jenny, you're the greatest!!

    • christie_b

If you register for the Annie's coupon, you can access a number of printables for organic products. Included in this e-centives offer is $1 off any R.W. Knudsen Juice (min price $1.99). Combine this Q with the B1G1 at $4.49 right now and you can have delicious organic juice for only $1.49 per.

    • triciaj

Any one shop at a Kroger Marketplace? I saw in their ad that they have card games B2G1 and there was also a coupon in the paper for B2G1 on hasbro card games. Do you know if these will work in conjunction or would I have to buy more than 3 games?

    • msuweather

Hi! Thank you for such a great website. I appreciate all the hard work that goes into this site.

I have a question about this ad. I shop at the Starkville, MS Kroger and according to my weekly ad we are still in the cart buster ad, not the mega savings ad. I saw where someone else mentioned that they were in a different region. Would that be the same for me? Just a little confused.

      Thanks for any replies :)

      • I live in MS as well! Our ad changes midweek on Wednesdays…so I am assuming the mega sale will start up for us then. Hope that helps!

    • Elizabeth

Does anyone know if Kroger takes Walgreens RR since it's actually a manufacture coupon?

      • Steve

        No They Don't.

    • carolyn090

so is it one ad for two weeks, or is there going to be different items next week?i ask bc i cant make it this week but i was hoping to get my coupons ready early to go in week two.

    • jcspence

Does anyone know how you go about getting the Kroger Home Mailer or the Kroger My Magazine?? I have looked all over their website but can't find a sign up anywhere. Your input is greatly appreciated.

      • itismedia

Register on kroger's website. You can set up and account and add your Kroger card to it. They should come within a few months of that. If you have already done that e-mail them. That is what I had todo. Now I get all kinds of things, including flylers, coupns and $$ off coupons

    • jcspence

Does anyone know how or where you can get the Kroger Home Mailer and/or the Kroger My Magazine?? I have looked on their website but can't seem to find them anywhere! Thanks for you help

    • Mrssmith

Also at my Kroger in Knoxville, Tn there is a catalina deal running for the California Pizza Kitchen Pizzas (which are included in the mega sale)-buy 2 get $1, buy 3 get $2, buy 4 get $3. This makes for a great price on these!

    • Julie

I am new to couponing, about 2 months. I live in an area where there are 2 Krogers, 2 Publix, Foofd Lion, a CVS, Walgreens and Target. I have only been able to achieve overall about 45% savings on our total monthly grocery bill. I have been shopping at Kroger, Publix, CVS and sometimes I pick up a couple things at Food Lion. Is 45% overall good? Should I be doing better? I feel extremely fortunate to have saved this much, I just want to ensure I am doing all the right things? or should I be limiting my purchases to just one grocery store? Will this make a difference. I wish we had a Rite Aid close by….seems like some of the biggest savings come from there.

      • In the beginning I was getting around 50% savings. As you are doing this longer, you'll gather more coupons from different sources and be able to get better deals. Plus once you start using moneymakers/overage items to reduce your total oop you'll really see the savings. I now save between 95-99% all the time! :) (Been doing this almost 2 years)

        Good Luck!

        • Oh, I also wanted to say that I mostly shop at Publix but I follow the deals. I also shop at Kroger, Food Lion, CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid (ocassionally Target and Wal-Mart). If you click on my name, you can see the deals I highlight on my blog. :

      • itismedia

That's great when you are getting started. When I started I aimed for 50%. One thing you will find is that when you get your stock pile good and stocked you will find your savings going up. I don't shop by a weekly meal list, but rather make meals from what I have or have bought. This way if I buy a bunch of meat one week and veggies the next and so on I can put them together to make meals. This gets me to about 75% to 80%. It usually takes about 3 months to be able to get the most from your coupons and the sales. Keep it up, your on the right track!

    • tonya

Not too impressed with this mega event. Always look forward to these…looks like I get a week off. not a bad thing. THanks for all you do Jenny. You have saved my family a bundle.

      • kelli

I agree, I don't think that this one is as good as paste mega events. I am excited about free tuna, free sponges, and free pasta though! :)

    • sdavisva

Kroger has an ecoupon for $1/3 coke 2 liters. So, save an extra .33 per 2 liter when you buy 3! I loaded this about 2 weeks ago, so I hope it's still available.

    • augustagirl

Kroger also had Strawberries on sale for $1.98/lb!

      • Caroline

They were $1.88/lb in Harrisonburg, VA!!

    • renee06

I am so excited about this week! There seems to be some great deals…I've also added some items from last weeks cart buster sale to my list and many of the items i'm getting this week will be FREE!

    • tonya

My Kroger had $2/2 tear pad on the glass case for Digiorno pizzas. Makes them $2.97. Great deal for Digiorno!

    • kelli

I can't get the ore-ida coupon to print. It keeps telling me that I don't qualify… is there a trick to getting it?

I did have a great trip to Kroger today, actually 2 trips… I had to go to both of them in my town to find the bumble bee tuna. I bought 56 items, 48 of them were mega sale items. I spent $1.92 and saved $101.38!!

      • How were you able to accomplish this? What exactly did you buy… I can NEVER get my oop that low at a grocery store!

        • kelli

I've been trying to get the bumble bee tuna since sunday. both stores in my town were sold out every time I was in there. I had a bunch of coupons that printed at the register months ago that were expiring every day. I couldn't use 4 of them because they'd expired earlier in the week but I did get to use the other's that I had. I really just bought what was free:

bumble bee tuna .49 (after mega sale savings)
          – .55 off from insert or – .50 from register = free+

Ronzoni Smart Taste or Healthy Harvest .49 (after mega sale savings)
          – $1 off 2 ip or from insert = free+

Scotch Brite single sponges .50 (after mega sale savings)
          – $1 off 2 ip = free

          Snickers .50 each
          – .50 off 2 (doubled) = free

I also bought 4 bags of Kraft cheese .99 (after mega sale savings)
          – $1/2 blinkie = .98 for 2

          • jen

Anybody know about the scotch brite ip? the one I found was a pdf and I'm always leery about how legit those are… that being said.. if it is legit, how many per computer is allowed?

            • kelli

the one that I printed and used is the one that Jenny posted. it's a pdf but it's from scotch brites website, so I assume it's legit.

            • jen

for some reason I'm not seeing the link on this page, but I went to scotch brite's website and saw it. thanks! I'm just wondering how many I can print from each printer??

            • kelli

since it's a pdf, you could technically print as many as you want. it's the same for everyone.

    • soymilk30

Sunny D Punches are on sale for $1.00 each this week. There were coupons for $.25 that expire in April. The coupons make the punches $.50 each.

      Pretty good deal!

    • Ann

I just saw that all the Krogers brand bulk spices are marked down. Prices varied, but they looked like pretty good prices

    • JenniferB

After ringing up all the groceries, cashier starts scanning coupons. she got halfway through and the register beeped. She said I had too many GG steamers coupons. “Store policy is only 2 coupons per item.” I pointed out that she had just scanned 5 GG coupons. So why did the register accept 5 if the store policy is 2. She then said I couldn't use the 6 cheese coupons I could only use 2. I asked for their written coupon policy so she called customer service over. She said she didn't have the written policy, but the store has the right to limit any coupons, and she wouldn'r budge. I made them take back everything they wouldn't let me use coupons on. I then asked if this policy is per customer per day or transaction. I though maybe I could just get back in line with the other items, but she said no it was per day. I went home and emailed corporate because a coupon limit of 2 per item seemed a bit too restrictive. Any way, worst trip ever!!!
Oh yeah, this was the Kroger in Garden City, SC
will update if I ever hear from corporate.

      • holly

I emailed corporate when Kroger refused to take two coupons for the BOGO sale on disney vitamins. They emailed me their coupon policy, which is pretty vague… but it does say that the store manager can change the policy or do what they want regarding coupons- even if it contradicts their corporate policy. Hope you have better luck than I did.

      • amy

Kroger's new policy is ONLY 2 OF SAME COUPON per transaction! BOO! This is new to me (Katy, TX). Found Imperial powered sugar – free w/coupon. Domino organic sugar is also under $1 w/coupon. Closeout sales. Recycled Reynolds aluminum foil close out too under $1 w/coupon. Dixie bathroom cups (counts towards rebate), closeout <$1 w/ coupon. Whiskas cat treats free. Listerine pocket pacs, reach toothbrushes, Fiber One yogurt w/ ecoupon and paper. research these items

      • Sherry

I have not had this problem with my Kroger in SE Alabama. 2 coupon limit is RIDICULOUS!

Sargento Cheese was $1.69 after 8 items at the Lebanon, TN Kroger. I was so bummed. They didn't have hardly anything I went after today. Killed my coupon high :(

    • I seem to be missing the majority of the coupons required for this weeks deals… bummer. No tuna or pasta for me… and for some reason all my nabisco coupons are missing as well. Something strage is afoot in my coupon stash

I went to my N. Macon Kroger on yesterday and was loaded in the buggy with all my little free goodies (Irish Spring Soap, Kraft cheese, etc..). When I checked out I was watching the screen on my coupons and noticed that not all the coupons doubled. I asked the clerk if all of the .50 cent coupons doubled on this order and she tells me; due to the high volume of coupons Kroger has decided to only double your first coupon on numerous items of the same product! So if you have 8 packs of Irish Spring soap and 8 .50 cent off coupons only the first one is going to double the others will stay at face value. All the Kroger stores were to receive this memo from Corporate saying that this is in effect immediately! I tried to reason with them but she said their hands are tied and that Kroger doubles for our convenience and can stop that program completely if they wanted to all together. I just wanted to give you heads up if your heading to do your bargains the cashier also asked that I pass this along everyone so your not surprised at the checkup as I was!

      • Which N. Macon Kroger is that? Zebulon Road? I was in the Zebulon Road Kroger a couple of weeks ago. I noticed on my receipt that my .40 and .50 coupons did not double. I went back a couple of days later and asked why they did not double. They said if the internet coupon says “do not double” then they won't double it. Each cashier is supposed to look at the coupon and notice whether to double or not. I showed her 2 receipts from the Tom Hill Road Kroger that doubled every one of my .50 coupons. She said they had a big meeting with all of their Zebulon Road cashiers about coupons and doubling and the Tom Hill Kroger was not supposed to be doubling if it says “do not double”. She was going to bring it to their attention at Tom Hill Road. I have been in Tom Hill Kroger since and they haven't stopped doubling, so I am going to keep going there until they change. I really like Publix better!

        • Oh yeah, they also said Kroger will not accept any coupons for free items. I just went across the street and got my free item at Walmart!

I think we are going to start to see major coupon policy changes at Kroger nation wide.

          • Oh no!!! I'm not liking any of this information, I really hope this isn't the case across the nation, that would really suck. I've loved Kroger because they double and take coupons for free stuff.

Good day at Kroger. Found wine tags for $1 off 2 Diet Coke at wags. Therefore after the Mega Deal, the 2 liter of coke was 27 cents each. I got 20!!! And I got 20 BB tuna with $1 off 2 pouches as well FREE. I bought $120 worth of groceries for $26!!!!

I was in Food Lion today to buy cheap sour cream and I noticed that there was a blinkie with the Kradt shredded cheese. I expected it to be the $1/2 that Kroger had as well, but they were BOGO! This should make 2 free at Kroger this week!!! :)

      • kelli

I realized I had this wrong earlier when I was telling someone else about it. 2 would be 49 cents. I was thinking that they were 99 cents BEFORE mega savings, not after. Still, 2 for 49 cents is an amazing deal. :)

Does anyone know if this sale will continue next week like it did the last time there was a sale like this? My nearest Kroger is a little over an hour away. I've already been twice this week, but I missed some things on my last trip. Not wanting to go back again this week!

      • kelli

I've never known of a mega sale that didn't last for 2 weeks but I don't know for sure…

I just got back from shopping at Kroger and I did pretty well. I did find a few deals that were not metioned.
Snickers bars (regular size) 2/$1.00 – .50 coupon off on two which made them free!
Gatorade – $1.10 each – .50 coupon off on one which made them .10 each!
I also got lucky and found a coupon $12.00 coupon book attached to the top of Maxwell House Coffee that I purchased.
My total before my Kroger card and coupons was $60.00 and after the cashier took both off I ended up spending $32.00. I was very pleased!
All in all it was a great trip!

I just went to Kroger and saved $99! This is fun. In Allen, TX the Oscar Meyer Hot Dogs were on sale for $1.49 (after mega-saver price), and you get a $2 catalina coupon when you buy 2! I couldn't find the $1/2 coupons for the hot dogs, so I ended up paying $0.49 per pack. Still a great deal!
Unfortunately, with so many mega-savers and no one to help bag my groceries, I made the mistake of helping with the bagging. This caused me to lose track of how many mega-saver items showed up. I figured I had counted very carefully (3 times!) and read all the labels and tags very carefully, so it wouldn't be a problem. There were 5 items that should have been mega-savers that didn't ring up that way. Customer service was closed, so I have to go back tomorrow to have it fixed. Lesson learned: always watch the register!

      • Do you have the self checkout there in your kroger? Thats the way i shop now if i am buying items strictly with coupons/deals and then you can just watch all items yourself and so on. Just an idea. I do it since i have had times where my ecoupons did not come off and i felt embarrassed not to complete purchase anyway.
