Has anyone found the Carmex coupon?  If so, what zip?

    • Lucy

Thanks for the list!  The coupons will really help with the budget.

Jenny, is there any way to do a sanity check on the coupons before listing
the them?  I know you’re really busy but it seems lately that more and more
coupons are being listed that haven’t been available for some time (for example
in this case, the Cheerios and in the Walgreens thread the Estroven coupon) or
if they are available, they’re might not be a suitable coupon (for example in
the Walgreens thread a Estroven printable that’s “redeemable only at Earth
Fare”)  or they’re for the wrong size or for a different product within the
brand.  I realize that the coupon database doesn’t always distinguish so it’s
very easy to include a coupon in the listing that might not be applicable.  A
sanity check of the coupons would help to weed out the questionable coupons
      before the list is published.

I know it’s an extra step in your very busy day but it might help with the
frustration of folks finding coupons gone or keep them wasting ink on coupons
that they can’t use or it might even help prevent coupon fraud by keeping folks
from using the wrong coupons.  And maybe it will help keep all of the “where’s
the coupon?” or “I can’t believe it’s already gone” posts from the comment

Or if you can’t do a sanity check, would you please go back to the posts to
check the comments and update the posts to remove the links to the bad coupons?
That might help alleviate some of the problems.

Thanks again for your hard work!

How about you take the time to pay someone to do that little job, or better yet try doing it yourself. Please just be thankful for this site and all the saving it provides to all of us.

        • Lucy

I think you missed the two “thanks” within my post itself and the very
          appreciative gist overall.

Jenny is staunchly against coupon fraud but when coupon links for
inappropriate coupons are left in coupon match-up threads, it leads to coupon
fraud (whether intentional or unintentional).  Since I’m definitely not a member
of Jenny’s staff and I don’t have the ability to edit anything on her website
I’m unable to change any content on her website.

Jenny receives compensation through ads, affiliate links and the like so it’s
in her best interest to keep the site info current and the link info the most
up-to-date as possible.   By users posting about coupon match-ups and new
printable coupons in the discussions which Jenny can add to the post, she can
ultimately earn more affiliate link $.  It’s a win-win:  We get the best sale
match-up and coupon listings and Jenny gets the most user
participation/affiliate click throughs.   But with outdated links/coupons that
always seem to be long gone before they are posted here, users will start to
look at other sites first and click through there.  That’s not a good $$
          situation for Jenny at all…

          • Frugal4life

Since you have so much time to write and find flaws; you should start your own post. I’m sure it will be perfect.

            • Anonymous

You are obviously missing her point…

            • cindyrella

She said what she said in a very nice way and you come across as less than nice, and I don’t know either of you.

        • Anonymous

That wasn’t necessary… We are all thankful to Jenny but she has a right to voice her opinion.   While we are on the topic: I am very thankful that these sites exist but I wish people would stop acting like the creator of these sites are spending all these hrs putting together these list out of the kindness of their hearts. I’m not saying Jenny and the others don’t care but it is still their JOB that they choose to do and we are customers of the sites.  So, Lucy and anyone else has the right to voice their opinion or comment.
