Publix Weekly Ad 3/23 or 3/24

Here are all the deals that start at Publix on 3/23 or 3/24. There are a number of great deals this week and two new booklets to keep an eye out for (PG Future Friendly and Conagra Slam Dunk Savings).  I’ve told you all that “Surprisingly Low Price” usually means its not a great deal and there is a funny example this week:

Santa Rita Wine is regularly priced at $5, but advertised at a surprisingly low price of 2 for $10.  (Interestingly, the same wine is B1G1 in Florida but at an inflated price of $7.99!)  It pays to keep track of the sale price so you can tell when an advertised deal isn’t as good as it sounds.  That’s why I only list the good deals that are at least 40% off here!

If you find any other coupons or deals in the store, leave a comment and I’ll add them to the list!

      • Priscilla

Ask the customer service staff. Sometimes they keep them behind their counter or just haven't displayed them yet.

      • Jenn

My Publix never has them either. Is there any other way to get them?

    • Msmelmag

Surprising low price….funny! I love Kroger but last week saw a “new lower price” sign of 3.00 and the regular price was 2.99!

      • justme

LOL and a big smile……..It does not surprise me. I always look under the sale tag for the regular price and I have been surprised in the past.

Here I come…. lolololol!!!! I ordered 100 bags, lololol. 400lbs for about $55 with tax. That is a GREAT deal!!!!

      • Madbeachin1

Hahaha….well I guess your dog(s) will be assured meals for the next several months!

        • Yes they will I have four that LOVE to eat… some of it's for my neighbor though, They both lost there jobs and have a dog that is last on the list… I'll put a bow around them. lol

      • Laura

I did the same thing! I'm stopping at one of the animal shelters on the way home and donating about half of it.

      • Cmcobra66

how did you order 100 bags? most bogo's have a limit

        • My store is Great they will do anything I guess to please us. But there has never been a limit when I have bought stuff

          • Cmcobra66

my store always ays 4 deals per customer

      • BLG

My store said they didn't know if they could order 24 bags for me!!!! I think I should call a different store :)

        • biskit0323

Did you ask to speak to the grocery manager?

      • puppy luv

Please leave some for the rest of us our doggies deserve 49 cent food 2!! please?!

        • Sb

She said she ordered it. She's not clearing the shelves.

          • Yes No clearing of selves here, I did order mine…. :)

          • Tj

But are they clearing the warehouse?

        • happymom

Actually, I'm impressed that she ordered it- she's not taking it all off the shelf and leaving you with none. Thanks Christie for being considerate!

          • Awww! thanks. Trust me it annoys me also when some one comes and cleans stuff out. This is actually my 1st big order like this…

            • marie

A cashier at our Walgreen’s says a couple is there first thing Sunday morning to buy the deals and take to the flea market…I don;t even bother trying there any more… :(

            • marie

A cashier at our Walgreen’s says a couple is there first thing Sunday morning to buy the deals and take to the flea market…I don;t even bother trying there any more… :(

            • biskit0323

Yes it is true. I went to Rite-Aid this past Sunday and they thought I was getting alot of pull-ups. I only bought 5 packs to reach the $40 to get my reward for it. Plus I have a 2 1/ 2 yr old in pull-ups and a 3 month old baby. I need all the diaper deals I can get. My son was down to his last pack of pull-ups. I explained this to them and she said oh that's great. But, one lady comes in here every sale that is good on diapers and wipes us out. She said alot of Rite-Aid store managers are talking about doing a limit based on the product in stock because they have already been told that the products are getting sold at flea markets. She said they hate it for the families that really need the items but they have to stop it some how because they have customers chew them out and say they will never shop there again because someone come and cleaned the shelf. It's sad!

            • I agree, this is true. I went to the flea market a couple of weeks ago and saw several tables with the same stuff that I had bought on sale that week.

            • same here…There are about 10 tables total in our local Market. We always walk buy and my DH will says I guess that was all on sale last week… haha!! what I don’t get is they sell it sometimes for more then what the store sells it for…

        • Key words being “ordered it.” She's not clearing the shelves. I'll be stopping by my Publix this afternoon to order my 13 bags. I have a typical hyperactive Jack Russell… if she's awake she's moving so she eats A LOT.

        • they special ordered 240 bags for me

      • Freemn4

That is awesome! Either you have a lot of 4 legged friends at your house or you are stocked for a long time!

        • ordered 240 bags, i have 4 doggies and my mother has 4 too:)

      • biskit0323

Wow….I wish I had a place to store 100 bags. :) But, I don't blame you at all for NOT passing it up. I only have one small dog and Kibbles n' Bits is the only food he can eat without digestion problems. So, I'm pretty excited also. I only ordered 10 bags but I still gotta figure out where to put it. LOL. With a family of 6, it's easy to run out of places. I sooooo need a garage. :)

      • woo hoo !!!!!!!!!!!!! gettin my 240 bags in the am !!!!

    • Brandie

I'm new to this & trying to figure out the B1G1 pretzel Crisps. They're B1G1 and I have the B1G1 coupon. How does the coupon work? Do you buy pay for 1 and get 3 free?

      • Alyson

If you live in FL, prices ring up as BOGO, and then use the BOGO coupon and you get 2 for free (one from store, one from manufacturer). But if not if FL, then BOGO rings up as 1/2 price. So with a coupon you would get one for 1/2 price and one for free.

        • Brandie

I do live in FL. So I get 3 bags for the price of 1? Sound good to me! Yeah!

          • guest

just get 2 and they will both be free

        • kristenk

so… in GA, say there's an item BOGO regular price $2 so each rings up for $1. if I use a mf bogo coupon, that would make one free, so I'd pay a total of $1… is that right?

          • jennaj81

      • emj

I don't think those Pretzel Crisps are a Nabisco product. Nabisco's Pretzel Crisps are Munchables. Anyone else notice this??

      • malou

You will pay $1.89 for one bag and get one other for free. Note it says one coupon per transaction.

      • Rebeccarichardso

It would be buy 2 for the price of half of one, or $1.89. Is that right everyone?

    • Anyone know the zip code for the $1/2 Quaker breakfast product or is it an older coupon?

    • karen

This week will be a good week for me!! Wills stock up on soap (especially the palmolive one with the target coupons!), fruit snack, and other few items!!

    • emj

Don't forget about the Target Nabisco cookies $1/2 coupon!

      • Madbeachin1

Got that one but cant seem to find the printable manu. q on coupons.com…..does any one know a good zip code to try?

    • Krystal

My publix told me Saturday that they no longer accepted Target coupons :(

      • Madbeachin1

It all depends on your area……which is a bummer for some.

    • CLK

There is also a Target .50/2 coupon for the fruit snacks.

      • Alcwindsor

When I printed it out (the Target coupon) it says Manufacturers! :-(

    • mommyhero

How do I find the Zatarans printables? My zipcode isn't pulling them up.

      • kjackson

Same problem here! Please let us know how to get this coupon.

i didn't see anyone else post this but there is a target store coupon for $1.50 off 2 kraft cheeses shredded or block. 7 or 8 oz.

Thanks for reminding me about the Target match for Weight Watchers goodies~I wouldn't have thought of this. I know I have it b/c I just pulled some other Target coupons this morning.

    • Skdoss76

Hmmm…not a lot to get me excited, although I may stop by for a Key Lime Pie, LOL! Thanks to this site, I've got a pretty good stockpile of groceries and don't need to replenish much at this point.

      • alishasue

Ha ha…me too! I have more green beans, pasta, and pasta sauce than I know what to do with. Everything else I’ve learned to stock up on for about a month at a time. The only thing I run out of now is milk, butter, sugar, meat, and produce. A Mango Key Lime Pie and a cold glass of milk sounds really good about now…

There is a .75 off Target Coupon for Clorox Wipes.

      • Hey there, its actually lysol wipes that are on sale, so this coupon won’t work. Thanks for being on the lookout!

    • FreedomSpradley1

Slow week for me besides dog food.

    • Kirstenjanderson

Has anyone found the $1/2 Oscar Meyer hot dog Target coupon? If so what zip code? Thanks!

      • ChrissyPunkin

I think that's an old one. I remember using one a while back.

      • Proleary2004

No just the buy 3 get 1 free

      • Stefluvs2sign

it is no longer available. now they have the B3G1

    • Davidstahl614

how does the Conagra Products Slam Dunk Savings Mail in Rebate work?

    • Tina 72

walgreens has 2.00 off 2 kotex U tampons. I bought 2 boxes last week used 2 1$ /1box, 2.50 off /2 and 2.00 off walgreens. total OOP was 66 cents!

    • Syndilew

Does anyone know where the 4c q came from. I can't seem to find that one. Thanks

      • AutLynn

It said it's on the breadcrumbs…I don't usually have much luck finding those!

    • Thanks for all the updates on the Target Coupons, I added them up top.

Also, as Lucy pointed out, the Pretzel Crisps are in fact a different product, so hang onto those B1G1 coupons for another sale.

      • Kat

So, are the pretzel rounds in the ad or the crisps, cause you still have the crisps listed and if so, the b1g1 would still be good, just not the nabisco pretzel rounds coupon. Or am i just really tired and getting confused….

        • Kat

I’m sorry, I see that its the wrong size.

    • Cami White

Are the Yoplait kids yogurt cups still on sale in the Yellow Advantage buy flyer? It seems that it's the same still as last week (with the friendship products on sale with coupons) but the Yoplait isn't listed….

      • denise

        yes, until the 25th!

      • ChrissyPunkin

The Yellow flyer coupons expire on Friday. I don't think they were on sale, but you can stack the yellow flyer coupon with the manu. coupon to make them free.

    • Just wondering but what were the Gortons printable coupons for. Are they going on sale a different week?

      • Sis2

Gorton's is on sale this coming week. It's listed in the BOGO section. Look again, you probably just overlooked it.

    • Eric Stoquert

I'm a new couponer. I was wondering can I use a food lion coupon at my publix in Florida. They accept other stores coupons but I don't think there are any food lions in Florida. Does that matter? Also, thanks for what you do, it makes this easy and fun!

      • biskit0323

My mom lives in FL and she has a Food Lion. I think your best option is to call the store and ask. My store only accepts 1 other store's coupons. That way you know you get the right answer. HTH!

      • ChrissyPunkin

If Food Lion is not competition for your Publix, then I doubt they would take the coupons. You can always ask, though.

      • Hbecky25

I live in jax fl and my publix takes food lion as long as its with in 10 miles of the store

      • Jody

I live in southwest FL and we have a Food LIon and Publix accepts them.

    • Liz30420

At walmart today, I discovered $1/1 Oscar Mayer Meat Wieners.

      • Liz30420

        • Sunshine

Aren't peelies the coupons that are attached to products and are meant for the customer who buys that item(s) from that store?

    • Schwartzkim36

Speaking of Kibbles N Bits…does anyone know what type of food expiration is usuall on the bag? Is it good for a year or so??

    • Heather

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but… My Publix (Jax, Fl) informed me last week they changed their B1G1 policy. Now instead of being able to buy only one product or an odd number of products on the B1G1 sale, you MUST buy BOTH items to get the sale. They no longer ring up at half price each. They ring up at full price for both items, then the full price for 1 is deducted. So it's basically a true B1G1 deal now.

      • LindaB

My store in Plant City, FL has always been that way. Most stores in Florida are true B1G1. Guess it was nice while it lasted for you.

        • Heather

It was nice. I found out by mistake when I purchased only 1 box of cereal that was B1G1. When I checked my receipt I saw I was charged the full price for the one. The store manger told me it was a brand new change that I had to get both items now.

          • Mrspurplepeopleeater

The up side of that is whenever you have a “free” item coupon you can get 2 for the price of one…. I always save my “free” coupons in hopes of that, plus, if you store does not allow overage (like mine), then you can use a higher value coupon and it goes toward the one you are paying for. My Publix is no overage, true Bogo, no doubling coupons, and only Winn Dixie as a competitor, so I have to find the bright side when I can :)

            • Kat

I was wondering about that with the pretzel crisps b1g1 coupon. It will be free for both right?

      • kimana517

My Jax, FL Publix stores (I've couponed at Roosevelt, Normandy, 103rd and Youngerman) have always had true BOGO deals – at least for the past two years!

        • Heather

This was the Publix at Duval Station. Could it have only been this one that the B1G1 items rang at half price? The manager and 3 other emplyees confirmed it was a new policy change that just went into effect. Weird.

          • Anonymous

That is so odd. If you tell me they also double coupons, I’m going to drive all the way there each week! LOL. Seriously, I hate that FL is ripped off when it comes to double coupons, and often coupons period. Jenny mentions so many coupons, supposedly in inserts, that I did not get!

    • Martins4music

Anybody get the Oreos printable coupon? Maybe I need a different zip?

      • Proleary2004

        not me.

    • Shogan422

Is smart balance milk EVER going on sale again?!?!?!?

      • katie

I'm glad I was reading these posts b/c I was going to post the same thing!!! All my prinable Q's just expired and I wanted to know if I should buy more q's off the internet. They expire 4/20…so I don't want to waste my $ if they will end up expirig too!!! I bet they aren't wanting to put it on sale b/c so many people were getting it almost free w/ q's.

    • melly*

the $1.50 off the kraft shredded cheese printed as a retailer coupon, so if i use a manufacturer coupon (1/2 shredded cheese) also it makes them both free.

      • Jessica

It says retailer coupon, but it has 2 barcodes & redemption instructions, so it is actually a manufacturer Q & cannot be stacked with another mfr Q.

        • melly*

oh. okay thanks. i am still a little bit new to this.

        • My Publix takes these as store coupons. I was afraid that it would be an issue yesterday when I had the Kraft Cooking Creme q and the insert q, and my regular cashier was not there. When the young lady who was checking me out came to those, she told me that I could not use them all. I was buying 2 and had 2 of each coupon. I pointed out to her that they had “Publix” and “retailer coupon” on them, so she went to the office for instructions. When she came back, she said it was fine and I was right, and accepted them all. However, I was in a store in Columbia, SC a while back, and the CS told me they were mfg q's. So I think it depends on your store.

      • melly*

        sorry i made a mistake, it $1.00 a bag.

    • Oneplustwins

      anyone found the zatarain's coupon?

    • Valerie

I'm having trouble finding the printable Clorox Toilet Bowl cleaner coupon. Anyone have success and want to share how?

      • Proleary2004

        I couldn't find it either.

    • Goodbadbogo

For those that are buying the Kibbles to donate before you go thru the trouble of ordering extra and or clearing the shelves call your local shelter. Kibbles is not considered a high quality food and most shelters will only use Science Diet, which is listed by someone else I see, and also Purina/Pedigree. My sister just adopted a shelter dog and was asking about it. the Hamilton County shelter uses Purina/Pedigree and if someone donates other than that they try to give it out to someone when they adopt but they prefer not to because changing your dogs food a lot can mess up their digestion and they are really big about giving you the healthiest dog possible when you adopt. Just wanted to forewarn everyone. As always a little research goes along way. I'm not even bothering with this deal as I know some crazy person will wipe the shelves at my local store.

      • Ashleyw81

It always strikes me as funny that shelters and some vets always push the overpriced Science Diet. Dog Food Ratings.com (a third party scientific dog food reviewer) says it is “below average” and gives it 2 stars out of 5. Kibbles n Bits gets a 1 star out of 5, but really neither brand should be considered a high quality dog food.

      • mc

Great advice! I haven't really figured out why more people haven't taken advantage of the Kroger Pedigree deal. The 3.5 lb bags are 3.99 when you do a mega deal and there are $3 off coupons. The shelves at my Kroger have stayed full. I guess 99 cents for dog food is too much? I got 8 bags and am soooo happy!. Last week I was able to use the ecoupon for $3 as well as the paper q, but today no ecoupons worked with paper coupons so if someone was holding out for that, it probably won't work anymore.

        • Jessica

I would actually rather have the Pedigree deal, but don't really go to Kroger anymore as the Krogers in my area are NOT coupon friendly.

          • Guest

Publix has the 4.4# bag of regular dog food and puppy food for $3.99 until the 25th (?). It's in the Advantage flier.

        • Sandra

Did your paper coupons beep? or did the cashier say you couldnt do it?

          • mc

the paper coupons wouldn't go through. The cashier was great and would have done whatever, but the computer beeped and said i didn't have enough items even though i did. The ecoupons had already attached i guess.

    • guest

Not having much luck with the quaker oats coupon that Jenny listed for a $1.00 off. What zipcode should I use? Thanks.

      • Proleary2004

        Couldn't get it either.

    • I can understand buying one or two of a product to donate, but I do not believe in buying an excessive amount for that purpose. I am hoping to buy 10-12 bags for my dog, but I will probably only be able to get however many is allowed with a raincheck. I shop on Mondays, and its not likely there will be any left when I get there. I drive 50 miles one way and can not check daily. If I don't get it on my one day or with a raincheck, I don't get it.

      • Sandra

Maybe a phone call to the store and let them know how far you are going to drive and ask them to set them aside!!

      • Tangela

I got the store that I shop at to special order me 26 bags of the B1G1 dog food. I want it at that price with the coupon, but I didn't want to wipe out the store. They gladly did it for me. Maybe that would work for you as well.

    • Kate

you can get a $5.99 pack of Huggies wipes for $1, if you use the $5.00 off coupon in the weekly ad! Great deal…bought some yesterday. Am going back again today for some more!

      • Godlymom71

Can you buy two wipes or one wipe and one diapers? How did you do it?

        • Kate

I just bought wipes. I've done it twice now. The coupon does say diapers and wipes…but I read it wrong and thought it said diapers OR wipes. But they haven't said anything and I've been to two different publix and have used it twice with just wipes.

          • Ozkid

YOU read it wrong and then did it over and over? I'm sure your conscience will catch up with you eventually, don't misuse coupons and ruin the name of couponers for the rest of us!

            • Beth

I almost bought a few, but then went back to read the sign again thinking too good of a deal to be true! I think that if we try to use coupons incorrectly, that our friendly Publix will tighten their coupon policy, resulting in higher prices overall. While you may be saving on the wipes, or other product, you pay more in the long run.

      • malou

I thought you had to buy both the diapers and wipes.

        • Kate

The q is for $5 off and the wipe refills are $5.99 each. how does it come to a $1?

            • Kate

It comes to $0.99…I just said $1

          • Lucy

You are knowingly using a coupon fraudulently and trying to get others to do the same. The coupon requires you to purchase wipes AND diapers. It’s coupon abuse like this that ruins couponing in the long run for us honest couponers.

    • Tindall

Can you use the $4 off 4 coupon on the betty crocker fruit snacks that we were able to print a week a so ago?

      • malou

I was wondering that too. I would be a happy camper ,although I didn't noticed it on her list.

      • grace

I used one of mine in Bilo so as to get the cantalina and it worked fine so I guess it will work fine in Publix

      • Maimaie

I printed that Q too, and I just read the “fine print” it says when you buy four 6 oz or larger. So if the fruit snacks are over 6 oz you should be able to. :) Makes me excited about shopping this week!

    • Don't forget about the $1 off Nabisco Facebook coupon wyb milk.

    • Anne

Last week they told me in Publix that if you are buying a lot of something they prefer that you make a special order for it, you still get the sales price. They are glad to make the sale and that leaves enough product on the shelves for their other customers. It seemed to be no problem, didn't know if you all knew about this.

      • MD

I tried to special order at Publix the other day and they said they don't take pre-orders. How does it work? I've been trying to buy some of the Propel waters for like the past five shopping trips but they neeevvvver have any on the shelves.

Decided it'd be a good idea to try placing a special order but customer service didn't seem to know what I was talking about. I'm wondering if it was just that one person who didn't know what they were talking about or if pre-orders only work a specific way or maybe I didn't explain myself clearly. I've been meaning to go back and ask again but if anyone here has some pointers in the meantime I'd greatly appreciate it.

        Anyone? Thanks a bunch!!

        • Anne

We have two publix in my area, one is great, one is not so good. Hopefully you didn't get a bad one. I would ask for the manager, before I gave up. They still get the sale and it helps them keep the shelves stocked, so maybe if they don't do it they will think about starting.

        • Nicolesheffield07

they wouldnt do it for me either because they said the propel was too popular….

        • Sandy

Because the Propels worked out to be free after coupons during this sales cycle, Publix has not been able to keep up with the demand. I tried to buy them numerous times and they never had any and they wouldn't issue a raincheck because it the deal ran through Mar 25th. Although it was frustrating, I maintained a good attitude about it with the cs folks at my Publix. Finally, today the mgr agreed to give me a raincheck, but I really have no idea if it was because it is toward the end of the sale or if it is because he is a nice guy. I guess the moral of the story is to be persistent yet always pleasant.

          • Carrie

I'm not sure where you're at but fyi I went to the publix off of Baker Road in Acworth, GA today and they were COMPLETELY stocked with the Propel Water (this has been my third attempt at getting it but my first time shopping at that particular Publix) I was thrilled.

          • mfammom

Just got home from Publix on Glynn in Fayetteville, GA – CS person said they WILL give a raincheck on Propel if it the LAST day of the cycle – it is an advantage buy deal so this one ends tomorrow where I am. I will go back tomorrow to get my RC!!!

        • Guest

I had ordered the puppy food and there was a stack of Propel that someone else had ordered. The manager said that ALL of the warehouses were out of the Propel, along with the dog food, and that they had just gotten it back in stock. He said that one someone had ordered 1000 bottles and they had just come in. CS should know how to 'special order' something. They do it all of the time. When they special order a normally stocked item, the manager just has to add that quantity to what they would normally order. The manager was EXTREMELY nice about it. He said that he didn't mind if people used A TON of coupons, he just wanted them to be respectful of other shoppers. He said the 1000 bottles of Propel would be free once the other shopper used her coupons and that he thought she was really smart for being “such a savy shopper”!!! :)

        • Heather

Publix “specializes” in special orders! You probably got a cs person that may be new or something. I would try again, providing it's a different person. If they aren't helpful either, you can always ask for a manager. I used to work at Publix for years and most managers are super kind to customers and bend over backwards to keep them happy.

    • Godlymom71

Hey everyone, I had an experience today at Publix, last year I asked CS if they accepted Target q's they said no. So I never asked again, always thought it was funny because Super Target is in the same street. Well today I decided to be bold and ask again and they said “Yes” they do. So all this time I could have been saving tons of money, with Target Q's. Well the moral of the story is not to take one persons words as fact. Always confirm with a second person. Had a great trip!

      • Beth

I actually stopped shopping at my local Publix because a cashier told me that they did not take Target coupons because the store had to be five miles away or less, but the other Publix in town (which, was further away from Target) will take them. So for about two months I was driving 20 minutes away to a super coupon friendly store, then one day I decided to try Target Q's again, and low and behold they accepted them again. Same thing happened with RiteAid coupons. So, if they ever tell me, well we dont take those, I will ask again on my next visit or have them verify with a manager.

    • Funlady68

I haven't been able to find the Kibbles and Bits or the Pedigree q. Can anyone help me with this?

    • Cfeathers1

I'm kind of disappointed! Can't find the BBQ sauce coupon at target!

      • Akers72900

        me neither

      • Proleary2004

        Me either!

      • Jill

It shows Kraft mayo for the photo, but lists Kraft BBQ sauce as one of the items that the coupon is good for. Items included on the coupon are: Grey Poupon, Salad dressing, Miracle Whip, Mayo, BBQ sauce, or A1. So just look for the $1 off 2 Kraft items

    • mary4c

I also have $1 off Cakesters from Target that hasn't expired.

    • emj

There is a $1/1 Oreo Cakesters Target coupon still available to print.

    • an m

anyone find the 4C bread crumbs coupon?

      • April

        It's not a coupon. It's a rebate for a free tote when you buy 2 4C products

        • Syndilew

But it says that there is a .50 q for it well so that is what an m is referring to I believe.

    • Couponlacey

I'm new to all of this! So when you say tearpad coupon…does that mean somewhere in the store? Because I've seen a few things that had tearpad coupon listed under them. Does that mean it should be in the store somewhere nOw? Or something we should of saved up from before. Powerade is on sale for .50 at kroger and supposedly there's a tearpad for 1.00 off when you buy 3! Where would I find this? Do all stores vary on tearpads?

Sorry for my long drawn out question! I'm still figuring all this out!

      • JoR

It depends on your store- but the tearpad should be with the product or close to it. My store does not put out any tearpads but they do occasionally have blinkies (those little coupon machines attached to the shelf).

      • 3monkeysmom

I found the Powerade tearpad coupon at CVS a couple of weeks ago :)

      • Crstnashppd

A tearpad coupon is when you see sometimes see a little cardboard thing hooked to a shelf or something and and the coupons are attached to the cardboard by the top and you just tear one off. (Kinda like how post-it notes work). I find it them rarely in stores. Sometimes that are attached to one of the cardboard display just sitting randomly in the store. Peelies are the coupons attached to a product that you have to peel off, and blinkies are the coupons that come out of the smartsouce dispenser that blinks its little red light at you when you walk by it. Hope that helps.

If anyone is insterested in trading Publix Huggies diapers Q's for manf.diapers Q's or Target Q' I have several $3 off one box exp 3/31/11. Im in Florida. Also have $1/4 hunts tomatoes Q's. My email Godlymom71@gmail.com. thx

    • Marglenna

You all might already have known this, but there are two new booklets in my Publix store called “Money Saving Coupons” and “Congratulations! It's a Bargain!” Both are Publix coupons and have some good stuff in them!

      • TinaS

If I give you my address, is it possible for you to send me 2 of each. I have never been able to find any publix booklets except for the yeloow or green advatage buy. Your kindness would be so much appreciated.

    • Kangas

So can I use a Target coupon with a publix coupon with a manufacturer's coupon??

      • malou

It's one store (publix or target) coupon and one manufactures coupon per item.

        • KAW

Some stores allow three coupons on an item — mine does.

          • Cindylou

the stores in Charleston, Sc allow three q 's per item.. one Publix, one competitor and one mfg. coupon yay!! just ask at your store!

      • KAW

Yes, in some stores — ask at the one you shop at.

      • Sue

    • Themimb

Wow! I WISH the Santa Rita was always $5 here! It's usually $8-9 a bottle in our Publix (Mt Pleasant) so $5 is a pretty good deal for me. Also, last week they had $1 off coupons on the the bottle so a got a bunch of them for $4 each. That's the price you pay in Chile. I've been to the winery. It's pretty good wine by the way :)

    • Quaker Coupon???

Anyone ever find the Quaker Oatmeal/Breakfast coupon?????

    • Alyssa

HELP!! I cant find the Kibbles and Bits Q from RP 2/20…. Anyone know if it is anywhere else?

I missed it the first time through — it was on the inside of the front cover of the AJC (Atlanta) RP

    • Mclawrence

Excited. Stopped by my public and they have plenty of Kibbles and bits. They have 20 bags waiting for me at customer service to buy first thing Wednesday. Woo hoo 80 lbs of dog food for $10 plus tax.

      • Melissa

When does your Kibbles and Bits coupon expire? The $2 one I have from 2/20 RP expired on 3/19. Thanks!

        • couponnut

There was another one in a later paper that expires in April. I don't have it in front of me but I know I have some.

        • Lawremc

Mine had an April 16 expiration date.

      • Imousework

That's some cheap dog food, isn't it? I also got 20 bags today; however, I went to two stores. Tomorrow, I plan on hitting Gwinnett County because I have 30 more coupons to use. Hopefully, I'll be able to get my 30 more spread out over three stores. My doggies, I hope, will like Kibbles n Bits. Usually, they eat Ole Roy from Walmart!!!

        • MCLawrence

Bought my 20 bags this am total was $13.80 for 80 lbs of Kibble. Wish I had bought more coupons.

        • Susanizanurse

I am betting they'll love K&B if they are use to Ol Roy. We fed Ol Roy for years when we had more dogs than now. I called my store & ordered 20 bags that I'll pick up Monday. We have one Jack Russell so she'll be set for quite a while. I'm not worried about her liking the K&B since she's been gobbling up the Purina One cat food I bought on sale at Publix from a few months ago! LOL

    • Carolyn

Glad to see jelly finally on sale- been waiting for a while! I just left Publix to get the few things from the last ad I needed, and I was sooo excited to see they are beginning to carry my brother's BBQ sauce- Carolina Gold!! He got the contract a while ago and we've been on the lookout! So proud of him! Hopefully it'll go on sale soon so all you Southern Savers can try it! ;)

      • Tparker323

Sorry…didnt see the jelly on sale. Which jelly is on sale. I need some! Thanks

        • Carolyn

It's the Smuckers. for 2.50. 2nd or so under the grocery section :)

    • Shayequackenbush

The Bertolli Pasta Sauce that is in b1g1 in Red Plum 2-20 there is a $1.50 off of 2

      • Heather

        I think that expired 3/20.

      • Unfortunately, that coupon expired on 3/20.

    • deb

Just a reminder, the Boy Scouts are selling Camp Cards with $5 off $50 at Publix. The card is $5 to buy so you get your money back and all the other deals on the card are free. Helps both you and the scouts.

      • Cmemily

Is this everywhere or just in a certain area? I'll have to check with one of my scouts!

        • Geminirym

The cards will differ based on the location of the scouts troop. Im in Orlando, FL and my sons troop cards are valid in Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties.

      • Bradyfigueroa

Yes, is this just good in a certain area? I don't know any boy scounts but I'll find one if this is good in Athens, AL area. Thanks!

        • deb

The back of the coupons says:
Valid in North and Central Georgia, Tennessee and Birmingham area stores only. Not valid in Savannah, South Georgia, Florida and Costal Alabama.
          Valid until 9/30/11.

    • Curliecue16

Sweet! Just FYI for anyone else…. Poise printable for 2/2 is actually 2/1 which makes free if your publix accepts store, competitor and manufacturer coupons

      • Are you talking about the one that says “sign in”? Mine printed $2/2

    • Trapanizoo

Yellow Advantage buy deal paper has Caribou Coffee on sale for $5.99 (woodstock,ga)… there is a $2 off 1 coupon I found in SS 2/27. that makes for a decent coffee deal! stocked up on a nice stash with this deal!

    • Patti2082

I don understand how the woceshire sauce is free? It says 99 c and 50./1??? I'm noticing a lot of items that don't add up. Is it bad to just look at the prices she posts?

      • It is free if you shop at a store that doubles coupons. But good luck finding it. I've been trying to buy it since 2 days after the yellow flyer came out, and it has been out of stock every time.

        • Bradyfigueroa

It has been out of stock in Athens, AL too…..and they do not write rain checks for advantage flyer items.

          • Msmelmag

I think it will be back in stock as soon as the yellow flyer expires the 25th! In Hsv, AL, no Publix has any and I have looked since the ad started….even stopping at other Publixes that I am passing by! None…..

            • katie

If you really want something that was free in the yellow flyer try going the afternoon or evening of the day the sale ends. I was trying to get the really good deal on scott's towels a month ago and had been in multiple times for the several weeks the ad ran and the shelf was always empty, until the evening of the last day of the sale! I think they hold them in the back so they don't loose so much $ w/ stuff that would be free!

          • My Publix (Lexington, SC) writes rain checks for advantage flyers, and will even endorse the advantage flyer store coupon based deals to allow you to use them after the expiration.

      • Jenny lives in an area that doubles coupons up to 50 cents. So her 50 cents coupon will double to 1.00 off, making it free. I live in the same area so it is fine for me, but if your store does not double then you might want to watch the price matches.

      • Nanleigh10

Publix here in Lexington, SC doubles coupons up to .50. Bilo doubles up to .60

      • lisa

publix doubles coupons, so if is on sale for 99 cents and the coupon is 50 cents after the coupon is doubled it makes it free

    • Amanda

anyone know the zip for Udi's bread? I'd like to try gluten-free…

    • ywardlaw

Zip code for the poise coupons? I'm not finding it?

      • deb

Click on the coupons Jenny has listed that is $2/2. Sign up at the Poise site and mine printed a $2/1!! Hope this helps.

    • rgb

I looked through the “Learn to Coupon” links and couldn't find the answer….probably overlooked it! For the Gorton's B1G1, there are links to $1/1 and $1/2 coupons. Can you use all 3 coupons for 2 items?

      • Rachel

No you would have to get 3 items to use both of those. You could get 2 items and use 2 of the $1/1 coupons. You follow the wording on how many it states you need to buy.

      • Guest

You would have to buy three unless one of those coupons are a store coupon.

      • rgb

Thanks! I thought that, but just wanted to be sure. So, what would the final price be if I bought 3? I live in AL…
        (1.00) $1/1
        (1.00) $1/1
        (1.00) $1/2
$5.22 TOTAL — Is that right?

I'm still new and learning, so I really appreciate your help!

        • Benjamin

You wouldn't be able to use those three coupons. A $1/1 coupon requires purchasing one product. A $1/2 coupon requires purchasing two. So, you're using two $1/1s and a $1/2. That means you need to buy *four* to be able to use the three coupons. Basically, you can't attach more than one manufacturer coupon to one item.

    • Lrae17

Looks like a mistake on the Q match up for Canada Dry, 7-Up, etc. 12 oz, B3G1 at $4

The Free Pop Secret popcorn Q is only WYB 2 L bottles, not 12 oz. can boxes. I didn't look up the Q itself to see if you could also use it for the 12 oz, but thought I'd pass it on in case anyone had their heart set on using this deal. :-)

    • Hlbball34

if i have a publix coupon for a B1g1 oscar myer hot dogs and they are on sale this week can i use the coupon and get them free?

      • Beth

I think if you live in Florida it works that way, not certain. In other states, the BOGOs ring up at half price, so you could buy two at $1.74 each, and using the BOGO coupon the price for two would be $1.74, or 87 cents each.

Dont forget about the printable for $1 off produce wyb oscar mayer and if your store accepts Target at a competitor to use the $1 off 2 or Buy 3 get one free to save even more.

      • Mlg Cmg

Use the buy one get the turkey dogs free coupon and use the buy three get one free target coupon as well as the $1 off two and you can get four packs for little to no money. I did it last week with the beef dogs- we dont eat the turkey dogs but the church uses them.

    • Lrae17

I'm on the hunt for any of the $1 Quaker Qs. I have several baby product Qs to trade…

$7/2 Enfamil large powdered items, 23.4 oz. (several)
-$2 off Pampers diapers or pants PG 2/27
-$2.50 off Pampers diapers or pants, PG 2/27

You can reach me at lrae17@gmail.com if interested.

    • luv2shop

My sis just left Publix. She likes to shop end of cycle. She did well with her total dropping from 94 to 54, but it was funny because after she checked out, the cashiers were admiring her. One of them told her that when she came in they were pointing her out as that lady who bought all that salad dressing. She is getting the attention of the employees! We got a kick out of it.

      • Maimaie

I live in Tallahassee, FL and although it's the state capital it's predominately a “college town”. I shop at the Publix closest to my house, which happens to be the “student side” of town. Every time I go the cashiers (a.k.a. starving college students) watch me in amazement.

I have also noticed that when the line starts to back-up behind me there are only two type of people in it. Those who are angry that it takes a few extra minutes to ring in the coupons or those who are completely amazed and can't believe your total just went from $100+ to $40.

        • Shon

I've been to that store a few times, yet generally avoid it like the plague because of all the students and the aggitation I get from the customers behind me and some of the cashiers as soon as they see the coupons. Yet I absolutely LOVE the Lake Ellas Publix

          • Maimaie

I've never had a serious problem at either. They each have there pros and cons. The “Ocala Corners” Publix is closer to my home; however, it is much easier to navigate and find what I'm looking for at Lake Ella.

    • Katie3smith

I'm new to this and I'm attempting to print coupons from Target's website. I've repeatedly done what it's asked me to and it says that I've successfully installed the coupon printer but the coupons will not print. I am able to print coupons from all of the other websites. Any help? Thanks

      • E'smom

A lot of people have had trouble with Target. You have to lower your security settings on your firewall in order for it to fully install correctly.

      • Wendy M

I just did this. #1 turn off your pop up blocker. And f=go in under Internet Explorer, I was going under chrome and it would not work. And then when I went to print I had to be under explorer as well. When all else fails, ask a teenager, that is who helped me:)

        • Mckinnonwendy

oops sorry about the f=go…not actually a word:) Should have said “then”

      • Chrisandjolind

After going through the installation process again, try closing out of every open window (including the target ones). That’s what worked for me after trying a zillion times to reinstall without success!

      • Caitlin_rice

I had trouble with Target's coupon installer for months and thankfully my husband figured it out! For us, it would not work with Internet Explorer but did work after we downloaded Mozilla Firefox. We were missing out on a lot of savings without the Target coupons!

    • Meg162008

Anyone know how to figure out when Fiber One cereal goes on sale again?

    • Nursejek

      How well does yogurt freeze?

      • Beth

To me, it freezes very well. The consistency changes just a bit, but once you stir the yogurt I cannot tell a difference. My toddler will actually eat frozen yogurt partially thawed as a soft serve “ice cream” Freeze a container or small amount and see how you like it. Yogurt should keep for up to two months I think, just like frozen milk.

      • emj

I Googled it to see if I could freeze it last time I stocked up and most people seemed to indicate that you could freeze it. However, I found it disgusting after the texture/consistency changed. I had to throw a ton away. I will not be freezing it again!

      • Moodymae

I think it depends on the brand. The yo-plus freezes well as long as you eat it frozen but once it defrosts the texture is funky. The go-gurts are awesome frozen.

      • Dittob

        Greek yogurt freezes very well

    • Nursejek

okay thank you i wanted to buy up some extra i have lots of extra coupons for this week

      • Beth

NP, there are actually a TON of things that you can freeze (Bread, milk, cheese, fruit for smoothies etc etc) Look up Once a month cooking or freezer cooking its a great time saving technique!

    • Michelle81066

      HEY!!! Coupons.com has a Q for $2.50 off Kibbles n Bits!!! WOOHOO!!! I used 30064 zip…GOOD LUCK!!! Can’t wait until tomorrow…neither can our puppies!!!

    • Pam1021

      Cologate Coupons are out.

    • Shannon

Typically does Publix consider CVS and Walgreens competition? I'll need to ask my own when I go today but didn't know if I should bother cutting the coupons just yet.

      • Mine doesn't, but it seems some areas do.

      • Christine

Just recently my Publix only aceepts coupons from its 'major competitors'–Target, Kroger and Walmart (no drug stores). My Publix (Hickory Flat) is very coupon friendly and the people are great.

        • Tjmj9801

          You have Walmart coupons?

    • Ab 7418

I can't find the -.50/1 4C product coupon in any of my searches. Any ideas ?

    • Ab 7418

Sorry -.50/1 4C Bread Crumbs product coupon in any of my searches. Any ideas ?

      • Benjamin

They're peelies (coupons physically attached) on the actual product in the stores.

        • Ab 7418

    • Mandie3721

I have a coupon for B1G1 Pretzel Crisps, since they are BOGO this week at Publix, if I use my BOGO coupon does that make them free? I have TONS of these coupons.

      • Wendy M

Can you mail me a few? I would send you a stamp?

        • Mandie3721

yes i could, i got them off the pretzel crisps face book page, so if you cant get them, i would be more than happy to mail you some :) The facebook page let you print as many as you wanted!

          • Debko

The coupons are still available on Pretzel Crisps facebook page. Thanks for the tip!!!

        • Mckinnonwendy

Okay I found it thank you

      • angela

It will not make them free. You B1G1 coupon will apply to the discounted price. So if you buy two they will be 95 cents each.

      • Are you sure these coupons are for the same thing. They are for Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps. Aren't the ones on BOGO made by Nabisco?

      • Lucy

The B1G1 coupon that you have IS NOT for the Nabisco Pretzel Crisps. It is for Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps. The Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps are NOT on sale. You'll have to wait until Publix puts them on sale to be able to use that coupon.

    • Polly

My publix in florida does not double coupons, is this just in certain areas? I did have a manufacture and a target coupon for the worchestershire sauce so they paid me 25 cents even still.

      • Jill

Most stores in Florida do not double.

      • AKAISAN10

Hmm…that's strange. I thought all Publix stores doubled coupons. I live in GA and they definitely double them here.

        • Lavie Marshall

Valdosta Publix in GA does not double.

      • newbie100

Click the Link at top right of page for COUPON POLICY and print this out. It tells most of the policies for Florida versus other Publix and includes the drug stores and others. It also offers the policy in detail which I haven't checked out.

      • Ashez121203

none of the FL stores i went to double and i live by the fl/ga border and even the ones in GA that are a close distance dont double coupons

    • Maeghansmom

Target has a coupon for the Kraft Salad Dressing 16 oz bottle, B2G1 :)

    • annie

Publix in Greenville would not accept the Family Dollar coupons on KRAFT

      • Caity

Thanks for the heads up-I've found that the Greenville Publix don't seem to take much of anything by way of competitors…That's so hard for me because I moved from an area that took everything-Target/pharmacy…you name it!

        • Anonymous

Yeah Greenville Publixes will only take grocery store comp coupons – Bi-Lo, Bloom, Ingles (if you ever have store coupons from them!). I *think* they still take the printable Whole Foods and Earthfare coupons as long as they are located close to them. They won’t take the free w/ $5 purchase EF ones anymore though. :( Think they were losing too much money w/ those.

      • Gail

My Publix in Hueytown, Al. does not take any Family Dollar Q's. and it is only about 1 mile away.

    • CrazyCouponClipperChris

The Albertson's ad in the Orlando Sentinel had a $4/4 Store coupon (expires 3/29/11) for participating General Mills cereals, Fiber One bars, and Betty Crocker fruit snacks. If you are able to use this coupon along with the 50¢/2 Manufacturer coupon (not doubled), this would make 4 boxes of Betty Crocker fruit snacks just 58¢ (only 15¢ a box) at Publix this week.

      • CrazyCouponClipperChris

To sweeten this deal, if you have the $4/4 Manufacturer coupon for the Betty Crocker fruit snacks that was previously (not currently) available, 4 boxes becomes a money maker to the tune of $2.42.

Can anyone tell me where to get the Slam Dunk Savings Mail in Rebate offer. Looked on web site and asked at my store no luck

      • Danyeln

It is a booklet that just came out. It also has some coupons in it I believe. Your store may have not gotten it ye. I know mine is sometimes late to get the booklets.

      • newbie100

At my store (Lebanon), turn right at front door toward bakery/produce (about 40 feet) there was a display case with a BIG sign on top that said SLAM DUNK. The savings guide and the mail-in rebate slips were on that display on the back side.
New at this, I posted above this reply (didn't notice the reply button.

        • Ds143ms

where or i should say which lebanon? tenn?

    • kjackson

I can't find the Zataran's rice coupon. Can someone please tell me the zip code to use?

      • Brittmcollins

        I cant either!!

    • 3monkeysmom

Wow…I've always taken the “to each his own” approach to couponing. If you clear a shelf, whatever..I'll get a raincheck. If you take a peelie, I'm not going to cry over it. (Mind you, I don't do either of these things…I just don't get too fussed when someone else does). BUT, hiding items has got to be the funniest thing ever :-P
I was looking for the Weight Watcher's ice cream sandwiches…there weren't any in front but from my line of vision, I couldn't see the back of the shelf so I bent down to see if there were any in the back. I found 1 and then glanced to the right and saw that someone had shoved 3 boxes of them behind the bins of single serve ice creams. The hubby and I got the biggest laugh out of that!!
And YEP, I bought them :-P

      • Busbee10

Maybe the stock person was careless? I can't figure out why a shopper would hide things.

        • 3monkeysmom

Anything's possible but the way they were shoved back there, it looked purposeful.

          • happymom

I have found items hidden at CVS before. Maybe people hide them to go get more coupons or something? I'm with you, though… getting bent out of shape about it just ruins my day. You've gotta laugh at people instead!

            • 3monkeysmom

My thoughts exactly :) Yeah, we found it hilarious! My husband even dragged me back to the cracker aisle…they were out of Ritz Munchables and he wanted to check behind the other crackers for more hidden treasure :-P

            • Emmycat

More than once I have found the good advertized deals a bit hard to find at my CVS. Not sure if this is deliberate or not . . . Not too long ago, the Purex on sale were displayed behind something else with no sign and just the tops peeking up! : ) But I knew exactly what to look for and what it would cost because of this site. Thanks Jenny!

      • disappointed

I have a story too, but mine is not so funny. Normally, I don't complain about the antics of other couponers, but this is lower than low.

I called several days ahead and ordered a case (6 bags) of Kibbles and Bits dog food. The manager had my name and when I got to the store after work, I discovered that someone had impersonated me. Apparently, she had a cart stuffed full of dog food, and the manager asked if she was the lady who special ordered a case, and this horrible person said “yes.” I'm trying to laugh, but actually, this person has done a lot of damage to the reputation of couponers.

Somewhere, this greedy person is probably bragging. Maybe she will see this post. Shame on you. Maybe one of her friends will see this post. Hope you don't trust her too much. How you behave regarding little things says a lot about how you approach big things. Just sayin.

And by the way, Publix came through. I got a special, just-for-me deal. But the look on the NEW manager's face will stick with me. He was a nice man who was terribly disappointed about what happened, too. Thank goodness most couponers are honest people. this happened in Mt Juliet, TN

        • 3monkeysmom

Some people have no shame. You reap what you sow and eventually that will come back to her. I'm sorry that happened to you and I'm glad it worked out in the end for you :)

        • amieQ

I had this happen to me this morning too! Went to get my Kibbles and Bits that I had special ordered, and someone had already taken it. Appearantly the manager asked the woman if she special ordered K&B because she had it in her cart, and she said yes! The manager was very apologetic, but still! I don't understand why she didn't special order her own if she knew she was going to do this!
The crazy part…I'm in Mt Juliet too!
Luckily, they had enough for me to get what I needed…hope you did the same!

          • disappointed

Sounds like both of us were scooped by the same bad shopper!

They were all out when I got there. But I got a different deal, and my dog has plenty of food for a while

Seriously though, my work schedule means that I can never get to the store when it opens. I have to find other ways of getting some of the good deals, and this kind of trickery just makes it harder for me to save $. I don't begrudge someone a good haul . . . but this lack of consideration is extreme. Have to say, the customer service crew at the Providence store can't be beat!

            • Donna

I'm just curious but if something was special ordered then how was it accessible to other customers?

            • Emmycat

According to the manager, he asked if she had placed the order, she said yes, and she was given the product.

            • amieQ

I'm glad you were still able to get a good deal…I usually don't go early in the morning, but I was able to get all my coupons ready early, so I just went ahead, and I'm glad I did! I did'nt clear the shelves, but they were almost completely bare by the time I left! I also went to the other publix in Mt Juliet later (looking for something else that Providence was already out of), and they didn't have hardly any either!
I, like you, have always had great service at Publix. I never have trouble using coupons, and when I check out the cashiers usually ask me how I do it! The manager did say he wished he knew when sales like this would happen, so he can order more, so I may try to give them a heads up if this ever happens again! Happy couponing!

      • Kabowers

It does irritate me when people lose their heads and just get greedy. They are really fooling themselves if they buy a bunch of stuff they otherwise would never buy just so they can brag about it on facebook. Sometimes the best bargain is the one you don't buy at all. And clearing shelves just because you can isn't fair to other couponers because it irritates managers and gives the rest of us a bad name. I understand stockpiling, but come on people – who will ever use 26 bottles of worchestershire sauce? These are groceries not trophies.

    • Caity

anyone have a zip on the kashi berry blossoms? Thanks :)

    • Geminirym

The cards will differ based on the location of the scouts troop. Im in Orlando, FL and my sons troop cards are valid in Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties.

    • Kiriah82

Where can I find the green or yellow advantage buy fliers? I live in FL. Thanks!

      • Emmycat

I don't live in Fla, but the stores probably handle the flyers in a similar manner. My Publix stores usually have them in a display by the front door, or maybe held at the customer service desk. In fact, I have noticed my Publix keeping other coupons at the desk more and more as a way to foil those who will take too many at once. So if something else comes up missing, check the desk! Happy shopping!

      • guest

i live in fla, they are on the stand near the front doors.

    • Rebell40

My Publix even took a 5.00 off coupon from K-mart. It was a cash register receipt that was 5 off 50 groceries beauty or pharmacy….I <3 my Publix…I live in Florida….

    • Dalaforte

where do u get the slam dunk savings book? i asked at my publix in palm bay fl today and they said no coupon books were out now

    • MommyL

Theres also a 50c off horizons organic milk on the earthfare website you can print out.

    • newbie100

      Bev37 (concerning Slam Dunk)

At my store (Lebanon), turn right at front door toward bakery/produce (about 40 feet) there was a display case with a BIG sign on top that said SLAM DUNK. The savings guide and the mail-in rebate slips were on that display on the back side. The P&G Future Friendly handout was at the service desk.

      • newbie100

ADMINISTRATOR – PLEASE REMOVE ABOVE POST. Being new, I posted this incorrectly instead of using the reply button. Thanks

      • bev 37

Their was no display their. Manager said it was removed.

    • newbie100

Gorton Grilled (Salmon, etc) are not on sale 1BG1 at my store (Lebanon). They are not labeled as being on sale. I purchased 1 just in case since I had 3 coupons. I don't know if the $1 Grilled coupon will work on the Gorton Fish fillets and sticks. This might have been already posted – I'm having trouble getting all the comments. All I get is the first 87.

      • Cheryl

A few weeks ago when the Gortons were on B1G1 I believe this web site listed the Grilled coupon as a matchup, but the grilled were not actually included in the sale when people checked in the store. Same thing is probably happening again. I think Jenny does her best to try and make the matchups, but they are occasionally incorrect because she is guessing that those specific items are included but then it ends up they're not. It's probably very hard to know what's included and what's not since many brands have dozens of different products that could potentially be included. I fgure, you win some, you lose some. They don't always work out, especially if they appear to be “speciality” types of items (i.e. the special “Grilled” version when most Gortons are fried/breaded).

    • Couponclipper1986

Can anyone tell me if you are able to use the “$2.00 off any 4 lb. bag or larger” coupon that has a picture of Kibble Select Complete on it?? I purchased 20+ of these because they said they were Kibbles N Bits, and of course wanted them for the sale this week. But they do not actually say Kibbles N Bits anywhere.

      Thanks for any advise! :)

      • Amy

I don't really have an answer for your question. If you don't mind sharing, where did you purchase the coupons? I am considering buying coupons in the future and would like to feedback on which coupon clipping sites are best (or worst). Thanks.

        • karen

coupon clipper, the answer is yes! I am stocking up on these tomorrow.
Amy, I use e-bay, and I have heard of people buying a coupon things by dede.. look it up :)

        • biskit0323

I have only ordered coupons one time. I leave in the smaller region of coupons. And I needed some last week for a sale and I read around for advice on coupon sites. I have read that alot of people use Ebay. But, I used www . coupondede . com and I got my order quickly. She does have a $3 minimum order though. But, there was a couple other coupons, I knew I didn't get so I just ordered some of them too. HTH!

        • Grapeape9

I used CouponCarryout.com…They were great spent $15.00 on $175 worth of coupons had them in 2 days. I bought 10 Kibbles and bits coupons, had 2 so I pre-ordered the dog food from my local Publix. Will pick-up Saturday as I only go to town once a week and with it BOGO and $2.00 off each bag and a Dollar General $5.00 off $25.00 or more makes it $0.88 for 48lbs of dog food…………Love It

      • biskit0323

My coupon actually states SAVE $2.00 on any ONE (1) bag of Kibbles n' Bits brand dry dog food. The picture is of 3 bags of food. One is origanl, one is Bistro Meal, and one is Homestyle. I am not sure about the coupon you have. I looked the coupon that I think you have up on Ebay and I do not think that is the same thing. http: //www . kibblesnbits . com/varieties/ (without the spaces of course) This shows the different varieties of Kibbles n' Bits dog food. HTH!

      • Don't look at the picture that is on the coupon. Read the words. That's more important than the picture and the words are what you should really go by. And yes, that coupon is good for the dog food.

        • CrazyCouponClipperChris

A good piece of advice. At least a couple times a month, I have to point out what the words on the coupon says because the cashier is simply looking at the picture on it and it doesn't match with the item I am purchasing.

      • Emmycat

My advice has nothing to do with the look of the coupon. It's GO EARLY if you can. Yesterday, while talking to my store's manager, he said that they would get one more small shipment of this dog food today, and after that getting more would be hard for a little while because the warehouse was under such demand. This was in Mt Juliet, TN. Not sure if this is all Publix, but seems possible due to the huge savings involved on this particular item, the advance warning we had (extra time to plan big buys), and the number of interested ladies.

So . . . don't forget about rain checks. This is a regular sale flyer item, so they should give you a rain check with no trouble. Good luck!

      • Bsajanderson2

I have used two already on just regular old Kibbles-n-Bits with no problems.

      • guest

NOT worth it!!! anything with the word “kibble” in it is not good for pets. Please read the ingredients.

    • foximoxie

Wondering if the Glad Tall Kitchen Bags, 65-78 ct. for $8.99 is a good deal if I use my $2.00 off Glad Bags manf coupon making it $6.99? Or would it be a better deal at Wal-Mart or somewhere like that? If the starting price were lower than $8.99 then using my $2 coupon there would be better but I have no clue what the price of Glad bags 65-78 ct is at Wal-Mart on average. Would appreciate any help with this..thanks!

      • biskit0323

At my Wal-mart, the Glad 13 gallon with drawstrings, 78ct is $10 and some change. HTH!

        • foximoxie

Well then Publix wins yet AGAIN..lol…thanks so much!

          • biskit0323

            You're welcome! :)

    • amieQ

Have a quick question for my fellow couponers….Has anyone gotten the .49 Crunch N Clean deal? I went to my pubilx, and they were marked 2.99 (regualr price). WIth the Q, that only makes them 1.49, so I didn't get any. Was I missing something, or were they just not on sale at my Pubilx? Thanks for any help!

      • Carmen

look online at your local Publix sales paper (or look thru the sales paper, if you have one on hand). If it is in there, then you get the sales price. You will just have to show the paper to the cashier. That has happened to me several times while shopping (items not marked) and they honor it as long as you show them the paper.

        • amieQ

Thanks for the help, I'll definitely give it a try (hopefully they'll still have some in stock (-: )

          • Grumpy991

if they do not have it in stock, ask them for a rain check for the sale price and they will give it to you. i have ha to do that a few times

      • LindaB

They are not in my Central Florida Publix ad. So we will not get that deal here. But as a former Publix employee, I do know that if an item is marked wrong they give you that item free in Florida. I don't know if that is true in other states but it is here…

    • I found a Publix new pet coupon book on the pet aisle @ the East Lake Publix yesterday. I don't know if this was listed yet!

      • denise

that's the same publix i go to! i take my 2 kids with me when i go (they're 19m and 8m very flirtacious boys!) and they always hand over the coupon booklets at the checkout for me…or they'll hold them at the customer service desk in my name if there's one i really want :) love that publix!

    • SYS

I am having a tough time finding the dole fruit cup coupons. Do I need to use a different zipcode?

    • Tammirb

Publix in Anderson SC doesn't accept Rite Aid or Walgreens coupons. :( I was under the impression they did.

    • guest

not sure why people are going crazy over the kibbles n bits…its SO BAD for you dogs…I'd rather get the purina or the iams thats on sale, and make sure my dog is actually getting some nutrition. but, to each their own….i saw a lady coming out of publix with a cart full of bags….i almost don't even want to bother with trying to get the good deals because everything is always gone. to all those people who clear the shelves…thank you for supporting your fellow couponers and making it difficult for everyone else.

      • guest2

I ordered the number of bags I wanted to keep from clearing the shelves, to allow others a chance at the good deal. :)

      • Honestly, Now a days supposedly everything is “bad”. Everytime I turn on the news there is a news report about how ? is bad for you… I lived on horse farm and had plenty of Animals. They all lived a lot of years and we never gave them “special” food.
        And I also ordered mine…

      • foximoxie

I appreciate your thoughts but even if you'd prefer not to give certain kibble to your own dogs you could donate it to your local shelters. They are in desperate need of any kind of food usually. Just a thought…

      • biskit0323

To each their own…exactly. And my dog has digestive problems if he eats certain foods and Kibbles n' Bits are the only one we have found so far that works. And if it was SO BAD, his vet would say to stop feeding it to him. Also, I ordered my bags of food like a few people here did.

        • guest

your vet needs to have his credentials checked…both my parents, my brother, two uncles, and my cousin are all vets or in the field. wheat is one of the hardest grains for any digestive system.

      • FreedomSpradley1

Dog food ingredients are listed in order of most used. I don't think Iams or Purina are much better than Kibbles in Bits. I've listed the top 5 ingredients for each brand below. I agree kibbles n bits is the least attractive but not everyone can afford top of the line dog food and I've fed my dogs cheap stuff all their life and they are very healthy for their age. All brands use “meal” and “by-products.”

Purina One: Lamb, brewers rice, corn gluten meal, whole grain corn, poultry by-product meal
Iams ProActive: Chicken, Corn Meal, Ground Whole Grain Sorghum, Chicken By-Product Meal, Dried Beet Pulp, Chicken Flavor
Kibbles N Bits: corn, soybean meal, beef and bone meal, ground wheat flour, animal fat

        • guest

cool, but if you can't afford your pet, you shouldn't have one. good luck everyone.

      • Gatorginger

All you have to do is ask for a raincheck when they are out

    • Oneplustwins

Has anyone found the Quaker printable coupon? Tried 30328 & 30064 zips and can't find it.

I was happy to find $1 off coupons on the Oscar Myer Angus Hot Dogs. I ended up paying 20 cents for 4 packages of hot dogs!

    • Susan

I'm new to couponing and I don't understand certain prices. When it says buy one get one do you use two coupons? For instance Kraft BBQ Sauce $1.49 BOGO do I print two coupon from Dollar store and publix will accept both coupons for that one tranaction?

      • Yes, you can use one coupon per item – even when it is a B1G1 sale.

      • Nicky

You are right! Since you are buying two items, you can use two coupons! That's why we get such good deals from B1G1 sales!! Happy couponing :)

    • April Floyd

There is a coupon on Smart Source for free Visine Soothing Eye Wipes when you purchase a 1/2 oucnce visine product. There is another coupon on Smart Souce for $2.00 off Visine 1/2 ounce or larger product. The Visine A.C. is $3.45, Print 2 of each coupon, buy 2 Visine A.C, and 2 Visine Total Eye Soothing Wipes, pay $2.90 plus tax.

    • sharon60

Kennesaw Publix is no longer taking drug store coupons but still taking Target coupons – THANK GOODNESS!!! Found out today when I tried to use the Rite Aid $5/3 on Dixie Plates.

    • khw

Yoplait Kids yogurt 4 packs are 2/$4 – $2/2 Q in either Yellow or Green Adv Buy Flyer plus $.50 Q from coupon inserts from paper (sorry I don't remember specifics!) – anyway, made it $1 for 8 cups of Yoplait Kids Yogurt.

    • Flyin71443

can i use my CVS buy $15 and $5 off coupon in publix also?

      • KAW

If your Publix takes CVS coupons.

    • Amy

Are you able to pair the .50/1 Yoplait Fiber One MQ that came in the newspaper inserts awhile back with the 1.50/3 TQ? I noticed the Yoplait MQ said it cannot be used with another coupon, so I wasn't sure if anyone has tried the two together?

      • sharon60

I did that yesterday on the kids yogurt b/c I didn't have any Fiber One coupons left.

    • KAW

If your Publix takes CVS coupons.

    • I LOVE PUBLIX! Last night I went in to tell them that I was over charged for the Silk Milk. It was on sale for 2/$5 but I was charged $3.49 for one and $2.50 for the other. The girl at customer service looked at my receipt (she was on the phone helping another customer too) and refunded me $3.! She said she was so sorry. I only paid $3.46 for the entire order. So I basically got it for free. So I went and bought 3 packs of fiber one yogurt and 1 Kraft BBQ sauce (I had also went for some Worcestershire sauce but they were gone again). Oh well. I was not going to complain. I paid .98 for both orders! I was so happy.

      • honestcouponer

Cool, so you basically stole $2.01.

        • foximoxie

that's not nice…she had to deal with going back to get her money so who in their right mind would try to refuse extra money?

        • i thought Publix policy was if they get it wrong, you get if Free. in which case, nothing was stolen, it was given.

          • Meghan

You are correct. So really, they should have refunded her $3.49 per their policy. (Or I guess $3.46 since that was the total of her order :) ). So she didn't cheat them at all. She actually got LESS money back than their policy states.

I was at publix last week, and they had pork chops or something mismarked, and the lady baside me got her $15.00 porkchops totally free. She didn't even ask for it – the cashier noticed. Publix is so nice. Truly a pleasure ;-)

        • I was going to tell her that I used a coupon but she was on the phone. She had already gave me my money back. And this happened to a friend of mine too. They refunded her the money AND gave her a free milk because it was their mistake.

And who hasn't walked out making a profit off of items they by at a store?

          • Couponj

Indeed… and Publix will still get the money from the coupon.

        • anotherhonestcouponer

Stole? Did Publix give her back her coupon to use again? No. . .they were going to make their money on it when they sent it to the manufacturer, so there was nothing stolen. This was explained to me at Target when I did a return once. They don't give you back your coupon, so they give you back the full price because they are being reimbursed. No need to be accusatory “honestcouponer”.

        • Amy B.

Its called publix promise. If it rings up wrong, you get it free.

      • Mel

You probably grabbed a pure silk milk and those were not 2 for 5. I did that too but noticed as soon as it rang up and so I went and grabbed the correct one.

    • Momof3boys

Could you tell me where the Capri Sun coupon is? What is the Maxwell house booklet?

      • Laura

The Maxwell house booklet was on their coffee cans around Christmas. It was a small like 2×2 size foldout book with several coupons for various products. I don't know if any are still in store now.

    • Grnacrz

Where do you find the M coupon for the 4C Bread Crumbs? It doesn't say. Thanks

    • Grnacrz

My Publix in Spartanburg, SC would not take my Kashi coupon for $1 off the granola bars because it said for use at Earthfare at the bottom. Is this normal? Do any of the other Publix take them?

      • bev 37

My publix in Duncan sc will only take coupons from stores that are on the same corner

      • Earth Fare is a competitor for my Publix in Huntsville so they accept their Q’s w/ no problems

    • Jackie

The coupons in the Publix/P&G flyer “Future Friendly”. Are they store coupons? can I use my $1manufacturers coupon from the P&G Everyday Savings book as well as the $1 charmin coupon in the Future Friendly booklet?

      • sharon60

The Future Friendly are all store coupons, so YES, you can stack with your P & G manufacturer coupons! :)

    • Hi Frances I generally buy my wipes and diapers from AMAZON.com… I can get very good deals when I use the subscribe and save program… plus there are also 10 off coupons or even 20% coupons when buy baby items or diapers… I can get a pack of 720 Pampers Wipes for like 13 bucks…Diapers: Pampers 140 for (depending the size)around 21 dollars, PLUS you get free shipping and returns, you might want to check it out.

      • Jessicahurff

Amazon absolutely rocks for diapers and for formula. If you sign up for “Amazon Mom” you can get a free trial membership of Amazon Prime (free 2 day shipping), and each time you make a purchase from the baby store they will extend the free trial for a month (up to one year). Free returns are also fabulous!

    • Frances

Where can I find the ” Get More From Your Pharmacy ” booklet?

Generally where are the best deals on diapers and wipes? The stores in this area are Publix, Target, Walmart, Kmart, CVS, Walgreens, Sam's Club and Costco. BJ's is further away. Does the double stacking beat out the Sam's Club and Costco Deals? What is a good guideline ? cents per diaper or $? per box of wipes? I would like to pass the info along to one new mom and 2 expecting moms. Thank you in advance for the advice!

Don't forget about the free Propel Zero 2/$1 sale in the yellow advantage buys flyer that ends Friday 3/25 . $1/2 mft q in the 2/13 smart source

      • Emmycat

        Hi Frances,

No one has answered you yet, so I will try to help. I don't buy diapers or wipes personally, but I can offer advice on comparing “club” prices with the prices at normal stores. Since the quantities at the club stores are often jumbo size, you must calculate cost per diaper, cost per wipe, etc. Write this down. When at a regular grocery store, do the math by dividing #of wipes by cost and compare. Keep in mind that a great sale price at Publix combined with coupons can make an absolutely huge difference in your price.

The price calculations I have described are a “price book.” You can read about these several places on the web, but they are time consuming to maintain. I used one for a while until I learned where to shop for what. Now I have a short “buy price list” and I have confidence in the 1 drug store and 2 grocery stores I frequent. I almost never shop the clubs or supercenters anymore.

There is an article here on SouthernSavers on how couponing at a regular grocery store beats superstore prices. Look at the top of the home page and click LEARN TO COUPON. Scroll down to the very bottom of the page. Under FURTHER READING in the right hand column, there is a link to an article called “Why not just shop at a supercenter?”

I hope this helps a little. I know there are lots of moms on this site. I'm sure someone has specifics on dipes and wipes. Good luck.

    • Manda

Does anyone know how the UPromise coupons work since there is no bar code on them when you print them out?

      • Marinka115

These are not printable coupons. Once you register all your cards online, you'll get the coupon amount automatically deposited into your upromise account. But it does take sometimes a few weeks for that money to process. Read Jenny's upromise posts. You can search for them in the “search” box.

    • Kbirberick

I also am wondering where you can find the 4C -.50/1 coupon? Didn't see it today when I checked on the breadcrumbs product…..

      • I've looked for 2 days now, and NOTHING! Not sure, but these are unavailable in my area!

    • Tamarie

I can't find the Glad bags coupon do I need a different zip or am I blind

    • foximoxie

I verified with my local Publix that they do in fact double competitor coupons if they state “manufacturer coupon” but a nearby Publix said the register will double it only if it's a “true” manufacturer coupon and that they could not manually punch it in so my question is has anyone had any experience with competitor coupons doubling such as Target and Walgreens which state that they are manufacturer coupons? Maybe this is a well known topic but I'm still in the dark on some thing :) Thanks!

      • mc

If it is a true Manufacturer coupon like a catalina type coupon that prints from Target and has the Target logo, but says manufacturer on the top, I have never had issues with them doubling. If it says Target coupon on the top, it does not double. We don't do drugstores as competitors here, so I don't know about Walgreens coupons, sorry.

      • Marinka115

No, the competitor coupons are just like store coupons, they don't double.

    • Mamick6012

anyone know the zip code for the Zatarans?

    • Susan

someone please tell me what Vocal Point coupons are.

      • Mandy

It's a website where you give your opinions about products, get coupons, etc. Signing up is free – just go to the website. Jenny usually tells us when coupons & freebies are available…

    • Msmelmag

I found a few French's Worcestershire at the Publix on Whitesburg Dr in Huntsville today….only a few so they may be out again by now…..I think the Yellow Advantage q expires tomorrow. Also had the 1.00 size of Frank's hot sauce and the Friendship buttership.

      • Msmelmag

        That would be buttermilk!!!

        • Amy B.

          Buttership was funnier :)

      • Sheshopsalot

At Publix, being out of stock on a sale item with a coupon about to expire is not a problem.

What I do is take the coupon to customer service, I “prepay” for the item they are out of stock on and they use the coupon. They call me when the item comes in. Usually 2 days max.

I also prepay if I want a lot of something, like the BOGO peanut butter, which may be limited to 4 or 6 items off the shelf. I'll order a case or two. Why not, the stuff lasts a good long time. If

If an item ever comes in and the expiration date is close, I simply ask for a refund on the spot. My Publix likes me doing this becuase I like to order big volume and that in creases their sales – plus they are very friendly.

I shop at the Publix on Lithia Pinecrest in Valrico, Florida.

        • Ultrabextr

i have utilized rain checks, but never once considered prepaying for items!!!!!!! great idea!!!

    • Missy

Went to publix to get BBQ sauce and few other items and found out they do NOT take Family Dollar coupons. Only coupons from other grocery stores is what I was told.

      • Grapeape9

You need to speak to the store manager. It all depends on the store.

    • Ultrabextr

One of the recommended coupons Jenny suggested us Publix shoppers print was for “Pretzel Crisps” bogo. Looking over the sale ad & both adv flyers… can someone inform me as to why I needed to print it?

      • Meghan

It was a mistake. There was a brand mismatch. The coupon we printed was not for nabisco pretzel crisps, but those are the ones on sale.

      • Mandy

I was just thinking the same thing. I think that she confused the Nabisco Pretzel Crisps that are B1G1 this week, with the Pretzel Crisps “brand.” I don't think our coupon is related to Nabisco in any way, therefore, not on sale :(

    • Tiff

where do you find Kraft Food & Family booklet?

    • Leaz

You can stack the $1/2 kraft shredded cheese with the $1.50/2 publix printable store cpn. That makes it .75 a bag! Yay!

      • Love

        Yep, a great deal. I stacked the $1.50/2 Target q with the $1.50/2 manufacturer's q, so a measly .50 a bag, unheard of to me. I loooove cheese :)

    • Rebekah

Does anybody know how long the Propel will be 2/$1? I ordered some coupons and hope I will be able to use them while it's still on sale. I LOVE that stuff! :)

      • Phillis

I think only until tomorrow the 25th. Most stores have been out so get rain checks.

        • Ultrabextr

i have 3 in the house that go through a box in 2 or 3 days, so i grabbed as many as i could!!!!!!!! (no where NEAR as many as i needed!!!)

    • AnnFL

? for those that special order or get rainchecks. My Publix will only allow 4 deals, so if something is bogo I can only walk away with a total of 8 items. How do you work around that? I have found that they never stop me from purchasing more than 8 at a time if it's in my normal shopping, but they always write “max 4 deals” on rainchecks.

      • Coupons090

really sorry your store is like that.kinda weird my stores almost compete to see who can sell the most of the on sale items, and if they know in advanced they will order lots extra. try to go in on a different shift to get another one or have someone else get one for you.

      • couponsforme

one thought that i have done for the crunchy nut cereal a few weeks ago was went in 3 times that week and when they still did not have any, ask for a rain check…. got 3 rain checks and my store limits you to one per varity of each deal

example. 10 for $10 CAN ONLY GET 10/ B1G1 can only get 2 but if it has 3 or 4 flavors you can get a RC for each flavor. just an idea.

    • V7nik

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not. There are some $2/1 TGI Friday skillet meal peelies stuck on the smaller TGI Friday appetizers.Makes for a great deal! Got 3 skillet meals yesterday for $3.

    • Lolly

Hey everyone two deal I just yesterday!

The weight watcher bakery items are on sale for B1G1! for $1.75 and my publix had coupons out for $1 off 2! so brought them down to a little over a $1 each!

Also the Kashi TLC cereal bars are on sale $2.99 and there were coupons for $1 off and if your store takes whole foods coupons they have a $1 off coupon too online. Brings the bars down to 99cents. Great deal for some healthy food :)

      • Natalie559

Thanks for letting us know the cereal bars are included- they are so good! And there is also an Earthfare $1 off 2 kashi products that could be used.

        • Maimaie

Thanks for the heads up on the earth fare q. I tried printing the q from Whole foods, but it didn't print the barcode or any numbers :(

      • emj

        Thanks for the heads up!

However, if the TLC bars cost $2.99 each and you buy two and use a $1/2 and two $1/1, that makes them $1.50 each, not $1.

        • Lolly

Both the coupons used for the TLC bars are for $1 off.

the $1 off 2 is for the weight watchers :)

    • Natalie559

My slam dunk booklet is buy $30 worth or groceries including $15 of participating conagra products get $10 publix gift card- it is listed above as buy $30 worth of conagra products.

    • Barneysgrl1

If i have a b1g1 free coupon and a 3.00 off coupon can i use both of them since technically im purchasing two items?

      • emj

      • Barneysgrl1

Today i went to the pooler publix, I purchased 4 kids boost essentials and tried to use (2) b1g1 free coupons and then (2) 3.00 off coupons. I was told by the manager that i an not allowed to do this. I have never had a problem with coupons there before but i just wanted to find out if i was really able to do this or not.

        • Barneysgrl1

Also i had a 1.00 off Athenos yogurt that clearly stated Redeemable and Publix and said Retailer Coupon (not manufactures) and they wouldn't allow me to double it with a manufactures coupon because they said it was a manufacturers coupon even though it clearly stated RETAILER coupon. The cashier said he doesn't know why they say retailer but i couldn't use it. I was gonna double it with the b2b1 free manufacturers coupon. Anyone have this problem?

          • Gatorginger

Even though it says retailer if you notice on the coupon they are instructed to send the coupon to the manfacture for reimbursement. A publix coupon will always have a LU number somewhere on the coupon so the one you wanted to use was acutally a manufacture coupon

          • tina

if it starts with a 5 then it is a manuf. coupon even if it says reatiler at the top.

        • tina

no the 3.00 id for the first item and the B1g1 is for the second item so you could not use a 3.00 off the second item since it there is a coupon attached to it already.

    • Andrea Cooper25

Does anyone know if the $1.00 off 2 Quaker breakfast items can be used on Granola bars? Are granola bars considered breakfast?

      • Lisa

I was wondering the same thing…

      • Jessicahurff

I THINK that they are considered breakfast items. i asked customer service about this at the Publix close to my home. and they said they were covered by that coupon.

      • Lisa

I tried it today and it worked!

    • TRP

Another idea for the dog food deals… Meals on Wheels! Check with your local area Meals On Wheels, but in Greenville, SC they are always in need of dog food and have drop-off locations. Always good to give where the need is.

    • jenn

Kibbles-n-Bits question: Do your coupons state “LIMIT ONE COUPON PER PURCHASE?” If so, how are any one you FL coupon-ers handling this?

      • aly

one per person…and they dont scan! the manager allowed me to use 2 but because it was a pdf file its the same barcode so they consider it being copied!

        • What coupon are you referring to? I must have missed it.

        • jenn

Yes, I'm not sure what pdf coupon you're referring to. Mine was clipped from an insert.

          • tina

yes i got mine from the insert too, but don't all the coupons for the same item (same coupon) coupons have the same barcode?

      • “LIMIT ONE PER PURCHASE” means limit one per item purchased. It does not say “Limit one per transaction”. Most coupons do say “Limit one per purchase”.

        • jenn

Thanks for clearing that up. I know that I've read one coupon per transaction before and I guess I just went there in my head when reading “LIMIT ONE COUPON PER PURCHASE.” I'm going to go ahead with the rest of my purchases then. whew…

    • Jeep0904

FYI: Rite Aid coupons are Manufacturer's coupons, NOT store coupons.

      • Ipreferpublix

No, they're not. They say manuq on them, but if you look at the bar code, it is a Rite Aid specific bar code.

A manufacturer coupon is a coupon with a barcode (beginning with a 5 or 9) that is programmed to scan and be accepted at any store that accepts manufacturer coupons.

If you tried to take that coupon to publix and have them scan it, it will NOT scan. NOT a manufacturer coupon.

These can be stacked with manuq's at Rite Aid, which is also a clear sign it is a store coupon.

      • Ipreferpublix

The mailman just brought the latest Kroger coupon magazine called pamper yourself. It has lots of MQ's that can stack with the Publix green flyer store Q's:

hawaain tropic $1.50 to go with publix $2.00
cover girl $2.00 to go with publix 1.50
Dove body wash or bar $1 to go with publix .55
Dove shampoo or cond $2/2 to go with 2 publix .55's
Lever 2000 body wash or bar $.50 to go with publix .75
vaseline body lotion $1.50 to go with publix 1.00
Degree deodorant $1.00 to go with publix .55

He also brought the Target beauty sample pack they offered a few weeks ago. It has a book of health & beauty store coupons that can be saved to go with future sales or publix store Q's. Many of them are the exact ones on Targets website right now so I was happy to save my printer ink!

    • Momof3boys

Where did you find the Slam Dunk booklet? My Publix looked at me crazy when I asked for it yesterday.

      • Jessicahurff

At the Publix i shop at, it was located in a “Slam Dunk” stand up display just next to the produce section. The display was four sided and about 4 feet tall.

    • Ssalabarria

My Publix will not accept the Oscar Mayer B3G1, unless you buy 6… they say you have to actually pay for 3… Go figure, can't wait for the coupon policy to come out, I'm tired of looking like an idiot in front of the cashiers!

      • JS

Why would you have to buy six when the Q says by 3 and get the 4th free????

    • Ava

      Does CVS accept Publix coupons?

      • Shannon

      • Emily

        Mine does.

    • Guest

FYI, my Publix also had the Oscar Meyer Deli Subs on the BOGO sale, so $2.50 for 2. There are also printable coupons out there for these sandwiches, just don't remember how much right now. We LOVE these at my house!

    • Shannon

VERY excited! I live in Florida and just found out my Publix took Albertson's coupons! They let me use the meat coupon from the front of the Albertson's ad St. Louis style ribs B1g2 free WOW!!! Also the petite sirloin steaks!!! I walked out with 3 St. Louis style ribs,3packs with 2 in each of the petite sirloin steaks and 2 kraft barbque sauce, and a small pack of gum for 20 dollars and change!!!! I also had a 5 dollar off winn-dixie coupon and a 2 dollar general coupon YAY!!!

      • Sean

        which store do you shop?

        • Shannon

      • joaniec

Shannon THANK YOU for posting this deal. Just went to Publix meat dept. they cut 3 pkgs St Louis style ribs came to aprox. $20.00 ea. got $40.00 off with 1st Albertsons coupon and $5.00 off with the 5 off of 50 purchase coupon. Paid $15.00 for $60 of awesome ribs!

        • Shannon

No problem! I was so excited and am glad you were able to get a great deal also!

    • Jaclyn Cremisi

Does anyone know if the Hartz dog treat deal is good in Middle TN? I went to the store and I did not see it listed as $1.99, it was around $2.99 I believe.

      • joanna00

I just returned from my store (Pooler), and the shelf tag read $2.99, also. The treats rang up as $1.99, though, and all of the boxes had $1 peelies on them! Good luck!

      • Elizabethggolden

Same here. I couldn't find very many of the bogo deals listed here. Odd as the ads are usually the same.

    • Couponing Rocks!

I'm trying to figure out how to spend as little out of pocket as possible to get my $30.00 spent in order to get the $10.00 Publix card on the slam dunk savings. When I read it only $15.00 has to be the specific ConAgra products. Can anyone help me with a scenario to get my $15.00 Conagra products with as little OOP as possible? I have no trouble coming up with the other $15.00 in any products, just need help with the Conagra part. Thanks in advance!

      • Guest

if you buy six peter pan peanut butters…that covers the 15.00 of con agra products…and they are buty onoe get one free this week…you can use two 1.00/3 that are in the slam dunk savings booklet and that will bring it down even more. HTH

        • Weebles200

The peanut butter was only $1.09 at half price at my store in Tyrone, GA. I bought 9, used 3 $1 coupons, bought 2 poppycock popcorn at $2.50 each with 2 $1 coupons and 1 can of hunts toms at $.67. I believe that was $10.48 OOP. Maybe not the best but still a great deal on PB which doesn't expire for almost a year and a half!

          • Kdc7703

How does this work? Is it 30 dollars before or after coupons and the same with the 15 dollar conagra?

            • Lane

I'd love to know the answer to this question, too. I just bought 12 peanut butters, thinking I had to buy $15 worth of Con Agra after the sale price (hoping before coupons). Don't want to send in for the rebate and not qualify!

    • Lishab_23

Where can I find the Kraft food and family booklet?

      • joanna00

This is a quarterly magazine that you subscribe to.

    • Felicek

The Murfreesboro, TN Kennsington Place Publix would not take the Family Dollar Q's.

      • bichelle

Smyrna wouldn't either. Said it was not a competitor

    • foximoxie

Has anyone had an issue with using more than one Target coupon per transaction?..not per item, but per transaction? I was told yesterday that I could only use ONE Target coupon for my WHOLE order…that is a very strange rule if it's true..thanks for your help :)

      • TRRAD

I live in summerville SC and the Goose Creek Publix has no limit on coupons from TARGET, Family Dollar if your not sure call customer service to the store before you go shopping with those coupons!

        • foximoxie

Thanks so much for replying and letting me know that because coincidentally I live in Summerville too! lol Then Knightsville Publix is the one that wouldn't let me use more than one Target coupon..and I was almost certain I had used several during a recent trip to the Goose Creek location and I guess I was right. It's a relief to know that the Goose Creek location will allow unlimited use of them because I have a huge shopping trip planned. So GC Publix accepts Family Dollar coupons also? I was wondering about that..that's great! Do you know if they accept Dollar General? Thanks!

          • Dtgriffin

I was at the Knightsville Publix today and they do not accept Family Dollar coupons. I had to find out the hard way.

            • foximoxie

Oh that's a bummer but I shopped at Goose Creek Publix last night and they took my Family Dollar and Dollar General coupons no problem..yay!

      • Holly

I use many Target coupons in my orders at the Knightsville Publix. I've never had any issues using more than one. Sounds like you had a cashier that wasn't sure of the policy. You can always go to customer service and ask, they are usually very nice at that store. In fact, that is the store I prefer to shop at!

        • foximoxie

I had a strong feeling she didn't know their policy. I would've asked her to get a manager to be sure but it was right at closing time so I didn't want to hold anyone up. That's really good to know though because Knightville Publix is the one closest to me..BUT it's unfortunate that they don't accept Family Dollar or Dollar General coupons :( …oh well we can't have everything we want

    • HLL

FYI I opened my Perdue chicken breasts and inside was a $2 coupon for Perdue chicken. I will be going back to get more before the sale ends since the coupon expires 3/31!

      • While you are there glance at the Publix chicken nearby. Ours had some $1.50 off chicken when buying Kraft Cooking Creme peelies which will stack great with the $1.50 off Kraft Cooking Creme products coupons in a blinkie by them.

    • Ban Roll-On Deodorant, 3.5 the full size is bogo this week with a $1.00 of peelie on each bottle in my store in Auburn Al, making each bottle 1.50! That is cheap….War Eagle…….

      • haha

        roll tide..

    • Ok, fellow Publix shoppers- HEEELP! I'm kinda new to couponing and would say that 4 out of the last 5 times I've done a “big shop” (lots of items and many Q's), After getting home, I've noticed that multiple q's that I handed to the cashier weren't scanned- these are legit q's, some of them store ones. Has anyone else had this problem? I LOVE my Publix, but am sooo annoyed at the amount of care I take in pulling the q's each week and then having them overlooked.

Any advice would be much appreciated. I do have a young child (3) that is an occasional distraction, but those Publix checkers are so laser sharp in their speed!

      • tina

i add up the number of coupons i have and the total amount of the coupons, i count the doubled amount as i am adding. before i leave the store i make sure that the total at the botton, store + vendor coupons add up to my total. or if you can add up the number of coupons that are listed. if you find one missing go to cust service and tell them that you think a coupon did not scan and they will fix it if you did not get credit for it. i have had that happen a couple times and it is a little frustrating. hope that helps a little.

        • Thanks, Tina! That's a good idea. I'm goona have to use some new tricks!

          • Kdc7703

It is hard with little one's but you can do it .I have my two year old with me and he is distracting but I do the same, count your coupons before you leave that saved me 3 dollars the other day when they didn't scan my coupon.

        • CouponPatsy

Pay attention to your coupons and if they give you beef ask for management, I was just given a $25 gift card because a cashier told me my coupon was photocopied and she crumbled it up and threw it in the trash. I came home and email corp and the Store Mgr. called me personally to apologized.

          • foximoxie

I can't believe someone would be so rude as to tear up your coupon without being certain about that accusation! I was recently at Wal-Mart (ugh)..and the cashier, who I'm certain was on a mission to eliminate all coupon usage, looked at my coupons and proceeded to practically announce to the whole store that she “knew without doubt ” that my coupons were photocopied! I was standing their in complete disbelief that someone could be that unprofessional and all out ugly. I calmly and politely told her that they were indeed legitimate/legal coupons and that I printed them myself and never would even consider to copy a coupon. Even after she had her manager to verify that they were legitimate she STILL kept looking them over and saying they were copies! I got firm and tiffy about my innocence at that point though! After my transaction was finally completed I assured her she'd be reported to her store manager and corporate. And that's exactly what I'm doing today. I'll take a lot from cashiers on a mission to do anything but help, but that was just unacceptable behavior.

          • Stefluvs2sign

FYI websites like SS and RP have little dots almost like bullseyes that print in the area where the expiration date is (if in color these are yellow if in B/W they are grey) and that is how stores know they are legit. HOWEVER most sites do not use this such as Publix, Target, and the PDF coupon printables like the Tena, Muellers, FB coupons, etc. So a lot of stores are getting hip to this and if you use a q that does not use the bullseyes they think they are photocopies GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

      • The store coupons (Publix/ competitor) do NOT double. I found that out the heard way lol. The manu coupons 50 cents and below do however. Even the manu ones that say do no double at the top, as long as the first number under the bar code is a 5, then the register will automatically double those. Hope this helps! Keep at it!

      • Shannon

I try my best to pay attention to the screen as they're scanning if I even think they didn't get one I point it out lol! Not in a mean way just ask if it went through or not? I have 3 children under 4 so I know all to well how much of a distraction they can be!

If it happens again count your coupons before you go in and when you get done count how many were used. if it does not match go straight to customer service and they will more then likely get your coupons from the cashier and go back through them and give you money back! I have had to do that at first I was worried I would be annoying but like you I spend ALOT of time on this so I feel like I am entitled to get it back and have never had an issue! My publix is AWESOME and I have even forgotten coupons and went back the next day and they gave me the money back no big deal! Hope that helps!

        • Thanks, Shannon! I will be brave an attempt to get my money! There is also something to be said for sticking with your favorite cashier! :)

          • I always separate them for the cashier , it makes it easier , and I closely watch as she is doing it. Most of the time it is human error. So just keep an eye out… A Lot of my coupons stick together so I can understand missing a few… :)

      • Stefluvs2sign

I know EXACTLY what coupons and their value I use on each shopping trip (lucky photographic memory) so when I get in my car I take a moment and check off each product and each coupon to make sure they were deducted. Only once did they forget and it was for $10! I went back to CS and they gave me my $10 in cash.

    • Niccibh

If you live in the Charleston area, beware of the Harvey's Supermarket coupons. They will no longer accept them because we don't have that chain of stores in our area. Just a heads-up!

    • Amanda P

Has anyone found a coupon for the trop orange juice?

50% off Quaker Cereal, Oatmeal, Granola Bars, & Trop 50 Juices

      • amanda

I believe that there is a coupon in the April All You magazine…not positive if it applies to the orange juice

I had a $1 off catalina from Winn Dixie I used on the OJ…SCORE 89 cents is all I paid!

      • joanna00

I found a $0.50 Trop50 manufacturer coupon from Kroger in one of the mailings they sent me. It is one with the maroon edges (the personalized coupons they occasionally send).

    • wendyc33

has anyone done the quaker deal? or how much the oatmeal or granola bars were? I want to do this deal today, but might not if the prices are not that good. thanks.

      • joanna00

The Quaker Soft-Baked Life Bars were $1.59 each with the sale, and the Quaker Squares cereal was around $2.20 or so.

      • Brooke

I got a box of the Quaker Chewy Dips (same price as the regular granola bars) for $1.49 (saved 1.50).

      • Stefluvs2sign

Two of the links for Lindsay Olives are actually links for Wholly Guacamole coupons.

      • Danyeln

Actually during football season they were teh Hmegating site. It is owned by Wholly but it HAD Qs for Lindsay Olives, some charcoal, BBQ Sauce all sorts of tailgate type foods. SO not crazy mistake just out of date. It will be back up coem Fall though.

    • Yuniklinder

Hey guys Yuni from Fountain Inn sc here!

Publix – Spring Into savings Yellow advantage flier has a BOGOF Trident Vitality Gum!

    • Brooke

Just got back from Publix a few hours ago, and have a few notes! There is a coupon stuck to the side of some of the Pillsbury Crescent rolls (can of 8) for 40cents off two any Grands items. Doubled it makes 80cents off of the two which were priced at 1.67 eac). So that ended up being $2.54 for two cans. Then, I used the $1.00 off of 2 printable coupon as well. $1.54 for two cans instead of $1.74 for 2 (the .87 each mentioned above). I was hoping to use this $1 off coupon on the yellow advantage buy 4ct. crescent rolls but they were out (priced at $1 each)…but this ended up being a better price per roll :).

Also, there is the Nutella coupon in the paper today, and just want to throw this out there that my Publix had Nutella priced at $3 ea (2 for $6)… wereas Target had it priced at $3.29 (I bought it at Target but I could have saved 29cents by waiting for Publix).

Also, about the Zone Perfect Bars… you can get them individually for free because there are some $1.00/off each coupons floating around. I keep getting them in my weird packets of baby/maternity coupons from places like A Pea in the Pod and in a package of formula samples my mom ordered for me. However, if you go to Kroger, they are 99cents each there, and they won't let you use the coupon because of the 1 penny difference. :)

    • Sduerk

OK, I am a fairly new couponer. I attended Jenny's workshop and started out pretty well. However, lately I have been very frustrated with it. The coupons that she lists as in the SS and RP I am not finding anymore! Has something changed? Occasionally, I will find one that she says is there, but most of the time they are not. I am in Greenville, SC so I know there will be a few discrepancies, but it seems like lately the coupons are not there. Any advise would be most appreciated!!

      • Morgzack

I am in your area as well. I am a member of a couponing community (not sure if I am allowed to list the web address here) and I have a w/l for a coupon train that I am on, or any trading I do. Each week, I check about 4 or 5 different websites for the coupon previews, as well as checking the site I mentioned above for Qs listed in various areas. I compare the ones I find that come out each week with the inserts we get in the Greenville News. Anything that we don't get that I think I could use, I add to my w/l with hopes of getting those Qs in a train envie, or I go to Ebay or a coupon clipping service to purchase them. There are some Qs that are just NEVER released in our area. The Yakisobe noodle Qs that everyone gets overages with at Publix never come out here, but I always purchase a bunch of them. We never seem to get Garnier qs, very few Glad brand, etc. I really pays to look around and see what regional Qs are out there!

      • Arat1986

Most of the Publixes in Greenville carry the Sunday edition of the Charlotte Observer. Since Charlotte is a bigger city they get more coupons. It's worth checking out – I normally pick one up on my way to church.

      • Coooolbabe

Yes, Iam having the same problem. I live in Summerville SC near Charleston and I am not finding any of the coupons they say are listed in ss or rp. Why?

      • The coupon vary from region to region. I'm in Greenville Also and noticed a bunch missing. But we also got most that other regions didn't get. Some were different amounts as well.. It happens all over and every week. You should have got 3 inserts this past weekend.

I have Wal-greens rewards and attempted to used them at Publix. One store informed me that they didn't take Wal-greens coupons. Another store told me that I could use my RR rewards and upon checking out she said I could only use one on a two hundred dollar order. Has Publix stopped taking Wal-greens rewards?

      • Roehrigk

I don't know what Publix you go to but in Atlanta area, they take Walgreen's coupons and register rewards (which are used like cash). Never had I heard what you have mentioned!

      • Stefluvs2sign

Yes they take them bc they are manufacturer and I have never been given an amount I must spend or a limit on how many I can use. I like to take an expired coupon from Walgreens that looks like a RR. Ex: I have an expired coupon that printed from Wags for $1 off orange juice. If I have a cashier or manager that gives me a hard time I ask them if they will take that. They say yes bc it is a manufacturer q. So I then show them the RR and say “so tell me what is the difference and why can't you take this?” That usually shuts them up.

    • Roehrigk

My bill was 30.00 at Publix today and I spent 3 cents OOP!! Hooray!

    • Godlymom71

I have 2 of the WinnDixie $5/30 does anyone knows if I can use both Q's at Publix if I buy $60 worth?

      • Mamaberry

They recently changed their policy in most stores. One $/$$ q per transaction. But you can 1 – ask if they allow it before shopping. or 2 – break it up in two transactions (which is what I have to do) hth!

    • Mccrited

My Publix cashier was so rude to me yesterday. I shop at the one in McDonough, Ga on Hwy 20. She knows me as this is my home store and I know just about the staff. While I was checking out, a lady and her husband behind were buying 5 Sunday papers. All of a sudden, my cashier says, “It is because of people like you that Publix is closing stores. We closed 5 stores this year because of couponers, as we do not get reimbursed for all of your competitor coupons”. She went on how my total was over $150 and after coupons came down to $42 and that the store was losing money because of me. I just smiled, paid my tab and left. I thought about reporting her, but I have a good relationship with the manager and assistants and I do not want to rock the boat and also with all the talk of Publix getting a new coupon policy, it may be best to let it be.

      • Kristy

Wow… if that were true don't you think they would just change the competitor part of the coupon policy? I can't believe she said that to you. My Publix is usually great even though I do prefer certain cashiers. I shop at Publix bc it is truly a pleasure, if it wasn't I would go somewhere else.

      • seaching4deals

She should have informed you that they opened many more stores then they closed. She make feel that it is because of coupons. Her job is a cashier. She was not hired for public relations or to manage the store.

      • Tesla154

I have also had so many problems at Publix. I even had a cashier make an odd comment while looking at my receipt. She didn't seem to like how much I saved. I didn't even use competitor coupons or anything unusual. They kind of act like you are taking the savings from their own pockets. I shop at several Publix stores and the attitude is very unfriendly with most of the staff. Their managers are the worst I've ever dealt with. I once asked about a price of something and the manager ripped my shopping list from my hand and told me in a very loud and condescending tone “Publix does not endorse the 'Southern Savers' website!” I really avoid Publix at all costs now because I hate the stress of it. I used to LOVE Publix.

    • Simply82

Publix on Fairview Rd in Simpsonville,SC won't take Target coupons because they are not a grocery competitor. :( Still came out great. I have to learn to shop the ad in the first couple of days so that I don't have to do rainchecks on anything. Guess there will be some lunch-hour grocery shopping in my future.

    • Hi Guys :), if your store allows triple stacking you can get the “vaseline intensive rescue” for $0.21-$0.24 (-$1 off Vaseline lotion, RP 3/27)

    • Laura

The new yellow advantage flyer has a store Q for $1.00 off Lays chips you can stack with the newspaper .55. Only the Lays kettle variety are on bogo right now, so the stack makes those only .45

Do I get the Future Friendly book at Publix?

      • The location I went to didn't have them in the store (Cust svc or at the register). I have the clipping from the coupon insert and I'm going to take it with me and ask the manager. With the coupon, you can get a free shopping bag with purchase of two of the products in the booklet.

    • Amie

I just got back from Publix and I would just like to put out there that greedy people are renewing it for everyone!!! I could NOT use my $5 off $30 Winn-Dixie or my $5 off $25 Save-A-Lot because the manager (who I didn't ask for but was already at my register) said they can only accept them now if your total after coupons is more than the coupon value. i.e. To use the Winn-Dixe coupon my total after coupons would have to be at least $30, then they would take another $5 off my total. I've been using these coupons for a long time and have never had any issues. The cashier always takes them off right at the beginning. But the manager said there are so many people abusing the coupons now and a lot of people are photo copying them! This is very frustrating for those of us who legitimately coupon and spends hours putting our shopping list together and gathering LEGAL coupons. I knew it would just be a matter of time before moralless people renewed it for everyone!

p.s. The cashier also told me a story where one lady spent $40 for $900 worth of groceries and used eight of the $5 off $25 Save-A-Lot coupons that were photo copies.
Also, I'm where the Publix corporate offices are, so it'll just be a matter of time before a new policy is in effect for all Publix stores.

      • Amie

Oops, I meant moralless people ruined it for everyone, not renewed it haha :-)

      • TEAMECHO

I think you should report them to corporate. The coupons from Winn Dixie are clearly off of their flyers, and could not be duplicated. I have had problems with some Publix stores, while others are awesome. That manager can't implement his own rules while there is a corporate policy on the matter. I can understand if they can't validate the authenticity of the coupon (ie, if it doesn;t scan, it's a copy) However, MY Winn Dixie $5 off $30 was right off their flyer. I wish you well. I have filed complaints when not treated well at Publix, and they don't like that. Maybe your complaint would fall on sympathetic ears and they might send you a coupon to compensate! :)

        • Amie

It was frustrating because the WinnDixie Q expires today so I made sure I went but I wouldn't complain to corporate about it. They are doing us a service in the first place by taking competitor Qs and I'm thankful for the savings Publix allows with stacking Qs. I just wish those few people wouldn't ruin it for everyone.

      • Godlymom71

Im sorry about your experience. I just got back from Publix myself and used 2 Winn Dixie $5/30 in the same transation. And yes they informed me that a new coupon policy will be effective on April 1. Also would not let me stack Target/Publix/Manf together which they allowed me yesterday. So yes this are going to be changing for all soon.

        • Godlymom71

Meant there are going to be changes for all soon. :-)

      • Jenni P

Whenever I get told a story of “you would not believe what this ONE person did” detailing the misuse of legal coupons, or the use of fraudlent ones, I always point out to them “Why did the manager/cashier LET them use them in that bad way?” I'm sick on store employees (at ANY store) complaining to me about what someone else “got away” with. Why was the woman LET to use 8 Sav-A-Lot coupons that were photocopies? They COULD have stopped her, but instead did NOT, and are taking it out on YOU, a person that wanted to use ONE non-photocopied one. That's their fault almost as much as the lady that used the 8 fraudulent coupons.

    • Mandy

Where are you'all getting the Winn-Dixie $5.00 off $30.00 coupons?

    • Kkbrobst

Thank you to whomever posted that CVS had the Hoest tea on sale for $.99!! I was able to use my recyclebank coupons with no problem there and it was a sweeter deal! Also, I had no problems using the Target Q's for the carefree for $.01 it was the manny Q's that the cashier had an issue with taking. i would not have been bothered if it were the target Q's that she had an issue with. that I can understand. Oh well. it is over and I got my tea for free today and I am happy! Spent $3 at CVS today and got back $8 in ECBs. It was $50 worth of stuff I got and made $5 off the whole thing. not too shabby!
