Has anyone ever used these? Any problems? Any advice would be appreciated!

      • Mom_4_Him

We have used these successfully. At first, I was very skeptical, but we have found our favorite restaurants through here. They are also great for travel and gifts. My family is all out of state, so this is what they get for CHRISTmas :-)

      • Deshaine

Read teh fine print. I didn't realize I had to use the entire “gift certificate” in one visit, so I bought more than I had planned thinking I would be able to come back another day. Plus there are minimum purchase requirements; for example: on my $50 gift certificate, I have to have a total bill of $100.00. That's going to be difficult for me and my family of 3, even at THIS swanky restaurant. :

Never again – we bought one and the place went out of business before we could use it. Non-refundable, non-transferable, absolutely no customer service.

      • Audrey_sheldon

yes we just used ours at chattanooga choo choo station house they took every one we had as long as you spend 45 .00 per tickets although rest.com said only one is allowed per table go for the gusto it depends all on your server i guess ours liked us pretty well good luck Audrey

Thank you everyone for your replies. :-)

How do you get the certificates after you purchase them?

    • Laura B

We used one for the first time, and it worked great! You can only use one per table, and do have to use it all at one time. Read your fine print before you buy. The one we bought, I paid $3 for a $25 certificate, minimum purchase $35. Our bill would have been $43, so for $20 my husband and I were able to have a nice dinner. And if the place goes out of business, they're only a dollar or two, so not like you're losing a lot of money.

    • Coupacoupon

Where is the fine print? Trying to buy a gift certificate and I can't find the restrictions anywhere.

    • Mindi

We have used two of these certificates and it works out great. Yes if the restaurant goes out of business I would be out $.60 instead of saving 9.40 on our meal. I was happy with both restaurants and the restaurants did not hesitate to accept them. Remember that most will add in 18% gratuity as per the coupon. I'm buying again.

    • confused????

Okay…I hate to be dense, but I am confused about this. I am going to a restaurant crawl tomorrow and thought I might try one of these in Greenville. Once I choose the restaurant, then I use the code as I am checking out?

    • Nadirah

If a restaurant goes out of business, doesn't want to honor the gift certificate, or if you change your mind about the restaurant call restaurant.com customer service and they will give you credit for the value of the gift certificate. You can then use it on another restaurant.

    • Jeanne

when it says one per party does that mean one per check or one per table. My sister is getting married and we will be eating out a lot. Wondering if her family and my family can use one or if we can each use one since we are paying separate.

    • Angela

Just FYI… We eat out a lot and my husband wanted to get a couple of certificates to try it out. One thing that is notable is you can only use one certificate per month. We were hoping for more lol! But a $25 certificate for $3… We'll still definately use it!

    • Ella S

Angela…it is one PER restaurant PER Month…not one per month. My husband use these several times a month in our area, and have nothing but great luck with these. Also, one of the ones I bought the restaurant is no longer accepting them….However, I received an e-mail from restaurant.com notifying me of this, and is letting me swap the certificate for another one. The customer service has been excellent.
