Darn…the $2 and the $1 coupons in the above scenario are already gone. bummer.

      • Gingiraffe

Try again. They worked for me. It doesn’t say in big bold print that they are $1 and $2 off. They are the coupons that say FREE AFTER REBATE and coupon.

      • They are still there, look for the ones that say FREE after rebate. Hope it helps!

    • SarahJ

Jenny, Thanks for all that you do, I have been reading your blog for years and you have saved my family so much money! I wondered if Staples still honors competitor coupons? There is a $5 off $25 coupon for Office Max so if you just needed the paper and then got some of the .25 or .50 items to get to $25 I think you could get a pretty good deal? Thanks again.

    • Jessica Anderson

does anyone know if you can use the $5 off $30 on the
packs of quilted northern that are $14.99 (plus a filler item or two)?

      • Mike

not sure BUT I do know they have an even better deal on Charmin which is $6.99 while it last

      • Yes, you should be able to.

    • southerngal24-7

Regarding the above staples deal idea….the $5 off in store purchase of $30 or more states that it cannot be combined with any other coupons. SO without the other 2 coupons, this “deal” wouldn’t work? Am I reading this wrong, or can you use all 3 coupons to make the above deal work?

    • Couponlady123

Does reward $$ that I have effect any of this deal?? Can I still use the coupons?

    • sheila

I stopped after work and this deal worked perfectly! Thanks so much Jenny.

    • kathy

I shopped at Staples and bought the paper that was 6.99 with a rebate of 6.97. Does this go on my staples card and acts like a gift card or do I need to do something on my side to get money? Also, where do I find this information on staples website.

      • Trysha

You need to submit the rebate either online or by mail (online is super easy, there should be direction on your receipt). Once that is done, they will mail you a check, or you can have it put into a paypal account.

        • kathy

I thought so to. But when I tried there was no rebate listed. I went back to staples and spoke with cashier and he said it will take about a month to show up on my card. It just does not make since to me. I am pretty sure I bought the right paper.

      • Mark

Follow instructions that came with printouts at the register to get the rebate

      • Hey there, if you still have your receipt you can find the rebate at http://www.stapleseasyrebates.com.

    • CaYaCoup

The coupons don’t lower your rebate amount??

      • No, they only lower the Staples Rewards amounts.

    • dino

can I use my Staples rewards to buy this deal?

    • Dawn-Don Blanchard

Do I need more than one coupon for the multi items?

    • jennifer w.

Must the printable coupons be printed? Or can I have the coupon code available to give to cashier? For example on a mobile device. There doesn’t seem to be a barcode to scan anyway.
      Thank you,

    • esyke623

I stopped at Staples today and bought 2 of the free reams of paper. I couldn’t find a $1 off coupon, so I just figured I’d do the rebate, as $1 for paper is still pretty good. But when she scanned the coupon for the rebate printout, it took off $1 automatically! Yay! So apparently the rebate and coupon come up with the same code. HTH!

    • MC

Thank you! I saved a bundle with this. The $5 off $30 worked great and then I added several other coupons on top. Plus I found a $1.50/2 BIC products coupon online.
