    • There is also a $1/1 Children's Tylenol Walgreens q in the Children's Activity book. If your store will let you use them on sale items, then the Tylenol deal you have posted, Jenny, would be free after rr.

      • Debbie33

Where do you get the Children's activity book?

        • SusanStauffer

The Children's activity book is usually found near the pharmacy. It is $.99, and has some great coupons. Some stores let you keep them, and just scan them when you use them, other stores make you turn them in.

        • Ours was in the children's section with the coloring books.

        • Bobbie

Just fyi the coupons in the children's activiy book will expire at the end of March. I've had mine for some time and really saved a lot of money using them.

          • Ann

Do you have the code for this coupon?

            • Shannon

The Childrens Tylenol coupon is 2033

    • Jenni T

I don't have a blog, so here's my totals for the week. 2 trips to Publix (I forgot my $5 off 20 coupon & had to go back)
total before sales and coupons: $161.67
      Total paid: $40.06
Total Savings: $121.61 (my absolute best week, ever!)
Thanks, Jenny for all you do!

    • jwhitley77

I've tried a couple different zip codes and can't find the Kleenex tissues. Anyone have a zip that works? Thanks in advance! :o)

      • kmoon

Can't find them either! Tried 90210 and 75101 no luck.

      • Erin

I saw Kleenex coupons in blinkies at Food Lion.

      • BB

        29646 worked for me.

    • Anonymous

At http://www.purex.com/promotions/ you can print a -$1 off Purex Laundry Sheets. Combine it with the BOGO coupon to makes them $1.25 each after RR.

There is also a MFC for Children’s Benedryl in the Walgreens ABC’s booklet if you happened to get it. Use 2 and combine them with the store coupon from the activity book and it makes them $.49 each after RR.

      • kim

ok get ready to get excited…I was in wags tonight and saw a sale tag for purex starting tomorrow (2/28 until 3/27) for bogo purex (liquid) which means we can use our bogo coupons on the purex for free purex. I was going to to ahead and get mine tonight but the sale wasn't in the computer and it would have caused a major headache so I will be back tomorrow to use my coupons and get my free purex. yippeeeee!

        • 2msanders

I was able to get the BOGO Purex liquid tonight. I bought two and had two BOGO q's. i got 4 for $6! It's a great deal!

          • kim

You actually should have gotten them for free if they are bogo at wags and you have the bogo coupon. I have 3 coupons and will get 6 for free tomorrow when I go back. For each coupon walgreens pays for one with their sale and purex pays for one with their coupon. I will have to pay for tax of course.

            • Joanne

My Walgreens did NOT let me use the coupon with the bogo deal. Even the manager came over and told me I had to choose which BOGO deal i wanted to use. I could not use both. I told them to void the purex. I then forgot to get my $4.00 in RR (from razors)because I was running late at this point. I was so mad when I left but I thanked the cashier for ringing me up. I told them I would go to another Walgreens. This is the closest one to me and I have to go out of my way to get the deal. UGh!

          • LaDora

My store is funny about using a bogo coupon on a bogo (they will only take off 1/2 if buying 2), however, I've worked it out to where I can get 4 and only use ONE Bogo coupon. Going to buy 4 (buy 2, get 2 free), and then they will have to take off $5.99 for the 2nd one I'm technically buying, so I will also get 4 for about $6, however, will only be using ONE coupon, so that works out great for me! Gonna use my other BOGO coupon on the sheets to try them out. Have wanted to for a while. Wish I had more BOGO coupons, but used 3 when HT had them $2.69 to get 2 for $2.69, which is a great price.

            • kim

Oh, well I guess I will have to cross my fingers and see what happens to me tomorrow. I hope I get 6 for free. By the way, I love the purex sheets. They are great for travel especially if you are flying and smell great!

            • dldorsey

Our Walgreens won't let you use BOGO Qs on BOGO sales. The first one rings up at full price and the second as free so they won't let you use it.

            • carolyn090

is it the cashier telling you this ? at the verry least you should be able to do as ladora says buy one get three.if your items ring at half price .i would not give up untill i had talked to a manager about it .if your not sure if your items will ring up then buy them .take the receipt and the coupon to the manager and have them show you just why you cant use it . and after all of this they still wont let you use it return it! and if at all possible go to another store . e- mail corp.you dont have to get nasty but this is not how things are done at any wags i have ever been to

        • denielle

where did you get the bogo q's?

          • kim

Last weeks coupons from the newspaper (not sure which coupon group). I did get them for FREE this afternoon. They rang up as BOGO and then my coupons took off the 5.99 for the remaining 3. Now I think we have enough detergent to wash the entire neighborhood's laundry!

        • irisfaith

In Athens they rang up 2.99 each, instead of actual BOGO. I was there at midnight for my first Walgreens trip in several years. Saved a lot of money and LOVE shopping in the middle of the night. Now if only Publix was open late for those of us on alternative sleep schedules… AND my Kroger recently stopped being a 24 hour store. What can ya do?!

        • carolyn090

the liquid is a b1g1? where is this at, im in fla.

        • gammaqueen

I got 4 BOGO Purex with my 2 BOGO coupons for NOTHING!!! It was great!!!

          • jhoran

How in the world did you get both for free? Did you use RR's?

            • gammaqueen

No, they were on sale for buy one get one free. At a drug store one rings up regular price (5.99) and the other rings up as free (0). I had 2 buy one get one free coupons for the same product (Purex). This means they wrote 5.99 on each coupon for the amount and deducted that from the price. All I had to pay was the sales tax. I love buy one get one coupons!

            • jhoran

I get it!!!! thanks for replying. Sweet deal!!! Now, I just have to make sure my cosmetic friend is working tomorrow.

            • kathipayne

I did use the BOGO at one Middle TN Walgreens no sweat – went to 2 different others and they would not accept the coupon. I called corporate and complained. They said the district manager said not to take them. But they have had several calls. I don't understand, if the manufacturer is giving them the $5.99 why not take the coupons!

        • deborahsdeals

I never got any B1G1 coupons for Purex in the paper. Bummer!! I guess they aren't in the middle TN area. That is the only detergent we use. I keep all the coupons I can find in those. Oh well.

There is a coupon for $1 off 2 Nestle NestEggs on coupons.com, would make them $1.50 per bag with Walgreens Q

    • Amber

I have a question.. Can an item really be a filler if you have to use a coupon with it?? I thought a filler @ Walgreens was because you can only have up to the number of coupons as the number of items you have per transaction.. Thanks!!

      • SusanStauffer

Wags store coupons do not count in your coupon total. :)

        • tinasc

actually, they do at my store, I dont know why.

      • Stephanie

There are actually 2 reasons you might need a filler item at Walgreens. You will either need it because the number of items is less than the number of coupons OR if the value of the RR exceeds the total value of the items.

      • marybpn

Will the store Qs be in the ad? Or do you have to sign up for something to get them. Thanks for any help!

        • justincase1031

Wag's comes out with a “saving's booklet” every month. They give them out at the registers. You can just go in and get them. And their ad will have “coupons” too, and these are also available when you walk in the door.

      • Yup – Wags store coupons plus gum/deodorant, etc. are the best fillers!

      • dee

i found the loop hole for fillers you get a walgreens gift card and tell them you want to put a dollar on it they will look at you like your crazy. but when its time to pay the gift card gets rejected and you dont have to pay for it anyway. i always keep 3 gift cards in my purse for that reason i just keep using them over and over.they get rejected because you are supposed to put a minimum of 10 dollars on it.
        gl dee

        • jennabows

ok so you get a gift card and you ask them to put a dollar onto your gift card. so does the amount just add up after awhile. is that ok to do use a gift card?

    • Noelle

What ZIP code do you use for the Kleenex printable coupon?

      • hsvmom

        Try 30003. Worked for me.

    • CHI

Be careful with the purex sheets i heard that they get stuck in your washing machine or sometimes clog your pipes. I haven't used them b/c of this, I went and bought two with my B1G1 Q but after reading online i decided not to use them. Also, they say that the sheets stain your dark clothes.

      • tarabj

I got a couple samples in the mail & used them for my last two loads. My husband loved the way they helped keep his shirts wrinkle free. He wants me to go buy more now. I will be very careful though, thanks to your warning.

      • LindaB

I got a lot of them really cheap with Q's when they first came out and decided to use them to wash my whites because of comments I have seen. I haven't had a problem after about 4 boxes of them…works great for me so far!

        • Esmelda

I've used them in my front-loader (he) washing machine and my mom used it in her top loader. My mom loved it, but I didn't think it cleaned quite as well as regular detergent. I have 3 kids so the cleaning requirements are somewhat higher at my house :-). That said, I think they are great to take along when you go on vacation – a whole lot less hassle than taking detergent, softener and dryer sheets separately. I didn't have any problems with it getting stuck, but maybe it has something to do with the size of the run-off water pipe? I also didn't have any issues with it staining dark clothes.

      • guest

If you're afraid of the sheet clogging your machine/pipes, you could try putting it inside one of those mesh lingerie bags – that should keep it from getting sucked up into any pipes…

    • Linda

Has anyone found the Lysol Healthy Touch Hand Soap coupon? I went to the site but couldn't find it.

      • David

There is a Lysol No-Touch Hand Soap System, any starter kit only – $3 off coupon(Expires 3-15-10)in the 1/24 Smart Source insert.

        • gammaqueen

There is also a 5.00 store coupon in the WAG March coupon book that you can stack with it. I used both today and got it for 6.99!

    • whit2001

I have a question about the Vicks deal ($10 RR wyb $20 of products). Can you use (4) $$$ off Vicks products plus (2) buy Vicks get Puffs? You're only showing that you can use (2) $$ off coupons and then (2) get Puffs coupons. Thanks!

    • Jenny

Hm. From 3/14-3/20 Purex liquid detergent will be BOGO @$5.99. I wonder if we can use our BOGO coupons on those for 2 free jugs?!

      • LelaK

My BOGO Purex coupons expire 3/06

      • Brooke82

At Bi-Lo this week the Purex liquid detergent is on sale $3 each. I used mine there and got two for $1.50 each. The coupon expires soon so take advantage of it while you can.

      • kim

see my post above about the sale starting tomorrow for the bogo

      • 2msanders

        I did that deal tonight since the q's expire 3/6. I got 4 for $6 using 2 BOGO q's.

      • elisa

I did this yesterday and got both free. Free laundry detergent made my day!

      • mpurcell

I just used two BOGO coupons on the BOGO Purex liquid detergent and got 4 free!!! I love Walgreens!

      • Beckett

Got 6 free purex's and 2 free motrin pm's! Thanks Jenny!

    • I'm excited for a good week at Wags!

How do you get that awesome printable icon on your posts? Is that a plug-in?

    • Wags store coupons do NOT count in your coupon total – you're right Susan. But that doesn't mean cashiers haven't had problems;)

      • tammynelson

I've always been told that Wags coupons do count. I'm so confused!

        • guest

Normally they do not count – be sure to use them LAST after your manufacturer's coupons. Sometimes I've had strange things happen if I forget and use them first, but normally if the cashier is patient and takes the coupons off to try manufacturer's coupons first and Wags coupons last, the problem resolves itself.

    • Angela

I also can not find the kleenex Qs! If there is a good zip for them, please share.

      • kim

I thought I was the only one. Hopefully someone has the magic zipcode

      • hsvmom

        Try 30003. Worked for me.

      • gabe

I found it on the CVS website under coupons. .50 off 3. Hope this helps

    • tarabj

Can anyone explain the filler items a bit for me? I want to go to Walgreens for the first time today or tomorrow & I don't want to do something wrong. I am an avid CVSer & the programs are very very different it seems.

Do RR count as coupons & do I need a filler item for each RR I intend to use?
If I get 4 Purex, will it print 2 RR, or do I need to do it in 2 transactions?

      • Mandy

        Hi, Tarabj!
Unlike CVS, Reward Bucks count as coupons, not cash. Therefore, you need to have an equal number of times to that of your coupons & reward bucks. Make sense? Jenny posts “fillers” that are low cost to help with this. So, if you buy 4 things, but have 5 coupons/RR bucks, you will need to purchase a “filler” to bring ur total number of items purchased to 5.
In regards to the Purex, I would complete 2 transactions to be safe. I tried this last week with a different item, & I only received the RR for the first item; not the second, even though it was the same item.

        • mandy

meant to say equal number of items, not “times,” LOL

        • tarabj

Thank you! I am very nervous to do Walgreens. I hope I do it right. Will let you know <3

          • I think of it this way – one UPC code for each coupon, buy what I want then use fillers to make the UPC numbers match the numbers of coupons. For filler items I check out the clearance rack and also the grocery section. There are often unadvertised manager's specials on pantry food products so you can find pantry items for less than 50 cents sometimes. I try to keep my filler items really really inexpensive so they don't eat away at my coupon savings. I have only combined store coupons with manu coupons at Wag's a couple of times so didn't know that I didn't have to count them in my UPC codes!

            • carolyn090

at wags kingsland ga. and amelia island fla. the wags coupon in most cases simply changes the price on an item and doesnt even show up on my receipt, this may be different if the coup. is going to take off a $$$ amount like a wags bogo coup. or a -$$$ coupon .those two type i havent used before so i cant say , its really hard sometimes to think like the register does

        • Tracy

Last week I had a terrible time doing the Revlon eyeshadow deal with two manufacture coupons and the walgreens store coupon. I handed the manuf. first then the Wags but the computer kept beeping I had to add two filler easter pencils before the register would stop beeping. Tomorrow I want to do some deals like the toothbrushes. I have 8 $1 off manuf and then the instore coupon, do I need fillers for each toothbrush or does the Walgreens coupon only count once?

          • carolyn090

you should not need them .take a look at your revlon receipt .did you use any rr if not i really dont know what the problem is .about the brushes there is a limit of three i have been told in the past that the 99 cent price changing wags. coup does not stop changing the price just bc you have reached the limit that it is up to the cashier to enforce limits where i shop i know this is absolutely true. on the same note i have also been told its bad manners not to follow the rules .so use your own judgement ,im just here to tell you what the register will or wont do where i shop .

            • Tracy

Thanks I didn't read the limit I will only get three. Hopefully this will work!

    • misskris

can u use rr on the children's tylenol in transaction 3?? i always thought it wouldn't work.

    • Brooke82

Can the Huggies deal only be done once? I know that I can't use the RR from the deal to buy more Huggies but I was wanting to work it into a scenario.

      • astridholliman11

As long as you don't use the RR from the previous deal you can do it again. Since they don't have a rewards program that keeps track of you, they can't keep you from doing the same deal over and over again. Crazy, I think. I wish they'd have a card or something, that would make it easier for them to keep things in stock.

    • kappie

Question: On the Purex site you can print a $1 off coupon. Can I use a $1 off and B1G1 at the same time?

    • CassandraK

I have 2 of the 2 dollars off one nyquil and i have a lot of 1.00 off the nyqil/dayquil coupons..do you think this would still be a good deal for me to get started on getting RR ?

    • hsvmom

Was at my Walgreen's in Huntsville, AL tonight and noticed they have the 5.25 oz boxes of Oreo's on sale for .99. I had some of the buy Oreo's 5oz or larger get a Oreo Cakesters 50oz or larger free. Got 2 Oreo's for .99 and got 2 Cakesters $3.50 each free! The coupon doesn't say they have to be the same size.

      • hsvmom

That should say 5oz or larger, NOT 50oz.

        • CassandraK

Hee this made me giggle and go yum to think of 50 oz of oreos :)

    • chattanoogacheapskate

Heads up guys – looks like Kleenex is a Kimberly-Clark product. Might not want to do any deals where you roll that into the Kotex/Huggies etc…. or vice-versa.

      • Marsha

I didn't realize this and today bought Kotex using a RR from the Kleenex and it printed out my new RR. Usually I remember to check…glad it worked! Maybe bc on the RR it says courtesy of Kleenex instead of Kimberly Clark

    • Val Sullivan

I saw on another blog that Purex liquid is on B1G1free, have not confirmed this, will go later today & will report back.

      • kim

It is, several of us further up on this lengthy discussion have done it with varying pricing success. I was able to get 6 for free using 3 coupons.

      • Sherry

Is this regional? I live in central AL and called up to my WAG. The lady said there wasn't a B1G1 sale on the Purex.

        • It is a monthly deal, started on 2/28, ends on 3/31?, (someone said 3/27), but I believe the tag said 3/31. Thing is, though, the coupon expires on 3/6, so if you are doing it, it has to be this week.

        • 3monkeysmom

I'm in Central AL too. The 32 Load bottles are BOGO at both stores I stopped at today (first store was sold out, had to go to another). 2 for $5.99, use the BOGO coupon to get them free :-)

    • Karen

I just came back from Walgreens. Bought 3 – 12pks of Cottonelle for $5.99 each and used 1 $1.00 coupon and 2 50 cent coupons and got the $5.00 register rewards. 36 rolls for $10.97. Also got 2 Starbucks Frappucinos for 25 cents after coupons and if you have the Ritz Crackers $2.00 off 2 boxes, you can use them for the $ .99 saltines and ritz that are on sale which make them FREE. They are a great size for my desk at work. I also got one tube of Colgate for $2.99 and used 75 cent coupon and got the $2 register rewards. So that was only a 24 cents after RR and Coupons. All in all a good trip. I'm happy.

    • ctclemson

I cannot find the printable aveeno coupons. Could someone direct me to a link for those?

    • Great! Thank for information, I'm looking for it for a long time,

    • Bobbie

Just tried to use the $1.50 off in the March Wag booklet for the MotrinPM and it would only take it off once for two bottles which I used the $3.00 coupon off of two. It did say limit one per transaction.

      • Andrea

I also just tried this & the manager insisted the instant coupon was a manufacturer's q… I didn't buy it because I have enough pain relievers LOL

      • Suemh

I had this problem the other day. I bought 4 bottles, using 2 $3 off Q's and the store Q.. It only took the store Q off 3 times. When I questioned it, a manager(?) tried. We finally came to the conclusion that it was because they were priced at 2.99 and the Q's added up to be 3.00 per bottle. I bought a candy bar but he still may have pushed it through. I paid 1.49 for 4 boxes Motrin and a candy bar.

    • Leigh

So, I have just a general question for you guys. I have been doing CVS and Wags for about 6 weeks. Wags frustrates me (just when i think I understand it, something new seems to pop up..i.e., on my last trip my “plan” didn't work out exactly as hoped b/c the cashier said that RRs won't cover tax. ANYWAY, my question is: do you guys find Wags to be worth the hassel on a regualr basis? Every time I leave I am thinking to myself “OK, that's it – I'm sticking to CVS from now on”, but I keep giving it another shot. Just wondering the opinions of more seasoned veterans. Thanks guys!

      • BB

I know what you mean. I always leave there having spent more money and more time than I ever intend to spend trying to get the sale items. CVS is so much easier.

      • tammynelson

I know how you feel, I just got home from a very frustrating trip to Wags. Unfortunately we don't have a CVS here, and our Rite Aid is small and only gets shipments every 2 weeks, so they tend to be out of a lot of the sale items. I do save a lot of money at Wags, so I will probably keep going. If I ever find a better alternative though i will stop. It seems like the “rules” change every time, and every cashier is trained differently. I will have to say that I always have the best luck at the cosmetic counter, but there was no one there today. :(

        • Leigh

i'm laughing to myself b/c i've decided to give it another shot tomorrow (wags, i mean!) haha. I will let you guys know if it's thumbs up or thumbs down for me!

          • leigh

So, returned from my trip. Not a bad experience, but of course I had to buy a filler even though I had planned not to. My store DOES count store coupons toward total. I know corporate policy is supposed to be corporate policy, but I have the same problems everytime. So, my decision for now is…if the have a great deal, I'm there and I'll give it a shot, always factoring in an extra $0.50 or $1.00 for fillers. If, even after $1 for fillers I still don't want to pass up the deal, then i will probably give it a shot. However, CVS will always be my #1 choice. To day at wags I spent about $10 and got 3 boxes of kotex liners, 3 starbucks drinks, 2 Red Baron pizzas, and a candy (filler). Not bad at all for $10.

      • Nicole_76705

I was just thinking the exact same thing this weekend. I feel like someone has to be a rock scientist to shop at Wags! I always spend more OOP and get completely flustered when the register won't take the stupid RR or when the register beeps. I think hubby and I have decided that we aren't messing with the RR anymore….

        • i used to be a walgreens manager.. if you have any questions about it you may email me if you would like. meaganrhenson@hotmail.com. its really not that hard, but i can see the confusion. So iff you want any help let me know

        • i used to be a walgreens manager.. if you have any questions about it you may email me if you would like. meaganrhenson@hotmail.com. its really not that hard, but i can see the confusion. So iff you want any help let me know

      • lucy2778

I feel the exact same way! Today's trip will probably be my last to Walgreens, it's not worth all the effort. I went today for the frappuccinos and olives. Ok, got those. Also bought a kid's toothbrush and some floss for hubby. The prices were marked $2.79 for a toothbrush and $1.59 for floss. Guess what? I get to my car, check the receipt, and they charged me $2.99 for a toothbrush and $1.79 for floss. Ok, 20 cents is not a big deal, but a mistake on two products?! I didn't care to go back, all the employees there are so rude, but will be sure to write to corporate. That cashier lady gave me attitude – again – and tried to make me buy candy, again! Ahhh I'm sticking with my favorite CVS that's right across the street by the way!

        • FORALLIDO

WOW!!! I hate to see all the bad experiences people are having @ Walgreens. I LOVE THEM.. Never a problem at my location. Employees friendly (for the most part, there is always 1 or 2 everywhere you stay away from). LOL If there is ever a problem with coupons, they call a manager and he takes care of it PRONTO. I have NOT had good experience at CVS and it's way out of my way to go there. I don't feel I get the best deals or they have the items on sale that I want (for the most part) of course there is an exception for everything.

      • Shauna

After 9 months of couponing I have concluded that Walgreens is only for those of us who have no where else to go.

I actually cringe when there is a great Walgreens week because that means I will probably get sucked back in the loop of beeping registers, unhelpful managers, clueless employees, encroaching register reward expiration dates. It never lasts long though, because once I go back it ALWAYS makes me never want to go there again! Especially compared to the ease, savings and enjoyment I get from shopping at Rite Aid, CVS and Publix.

The thing that bothered me the most in all of my experiences is that one time after I had become regular customer and always politely declined the candy that they push at the register. The cashier who had rung me up several times before asked me 4 times repeatedly to buy some candy. After the 4th time I just stopped responding. I mean, I know that no one in the store can work the finicky and beepy register but at least they could be polite!

        • Brooke82

If you have constantly had bad experiences in one particular store and you know it isn't on your part, you should call corporate and complain. The people that work at my Walgreen's are sooooooooo nice. I didn't like Walgreen's at first because the whole RR thing confused me. Now I go every week. Have you tried going at different times of the day? I used to go during the day but I found out the more easy going employees work at night and they are very helpful.

        • pschenck

Shauna, your post was so funny. I thought I was reading my mind. Walgreens is a joke. Ever since they went from the greattttt rebate system they used to have of going on line , punching in your receipt , waiting for a rebate check of alllll your money in the mail, to the new ..get a coupon from the register instant rebate thingy…I repeat myself COUPON THINGY…It is not a cash buck like CVS where you can buy other products with as many cashbucks and coupons as you would like….it is a COUPON and therefore cannot be combined with other coupons as you can only use 1 coupon per item ( with the exception of store coupons) unless you would like to buy something you don't want or need as a filler to be able to use the coupon thingy. They do expire in 2 weeks , so if you don't need something on sale the next 2 weeks, you'll have to make yourself buy something just so you don't loose the money you've already tied up. Should have just went in and bought something you did'nt want to start with. Most people forget about the coupon and loose their money anyway. I have been shopping with coupons for a long time, along with my 3 grown daughters and we all agree with you. You are on the right track,….Stay away from Walgreens….too many other great stores to shop at that will do you right!!! Happy shopping,…You made my day!!!

      • Peachy_Marietta

I grew up going to Wags and have a soft place for the company in my heart. However, Wags is no match to CVS and Rite Aid in terms of being coupon friendly. All Wags by my home is East Cobb have programed the cash registers to suppress the RR if you use an RR to pay. This is not just for an RR from the same manufacturer – it is for all RRs. I understand the system – probably too well. I went to Wags this week for two quick transactions and it was the usual hassle… If it is a REALLY great deal go – otherwise stay away.

    • carolyn090

i am sure most of you have thought of this well here it goes anyways if you are wanting to get the nevia lip care you can use it for your filler each tine you buy 2 there will be one item left bc the in ad coupon does not count , it only changes the price of the items depending on the cashier you may be able to do it once bc of the limit of three. i plan to get it , i really like the tinted one its just the perfect shade for me .

    • Meme

I did not find where to print the $3/2 Clorox wipes coupon. I went through all the steps as a parent, received a reply in my email, but still cannot figure out where to get the coupon from the website. Can someone help, pleeeease!?! Thanks so much, Meme

      • Meme

Sorry, it is the B2G1 clorox wipes coupon I am looking for.

        • Had the same problem, also had it the last time this promotion happened. Then suddenly, one day, the coupon as available again. Just keep checking back. Would have loved to combine it with a B1 get $1.50 off one coupon I had that was about to expire.

    • susan

Great day at Wags. Started with 3 RRs. Bought 3 pairs of sweat pants, 2 Motrin PM, 2 Reach tooth brushes, 2 post shredded wheat, and a News Paper for $4.93. Also I think it is the first time none of my coupons beeped.

    • karis

Does anyone know how much the Crest Advanced Seal 28 ct is running? Has anyone used the store coupon and manufact coupon to get the $20 off? I have lots of problems with my walgreens, and I just wanted to see if someone had used both of the coupons and how much it was.

    • LRachal

Just completed the Buy 3 Get 1 Free Ensure Shake Multipacks printable (register for 24 day challenge). So I didn't get a FREE pack, but my coupon printed out as Save up to $1.85 off one Ensure Single Bottle or Six-pack. I was able to print 2. Good – just not FREE. You have to fill out 2 forms, with a mailing address and an email address, but you can print your coupon on your printer right away.

    • tinasc

My walgreens ad does not have RR listed for the Kleenex. Plus, they were $2.69, not $1.99. bummer.

      • BB

Mine does not have the RR for the kleenex either. Wonder if they are printing even though it is not in our sale paper?

        • sundrop474

My ad didn't show the RR either but it printed. However, my Kleenex were B1G1 @2.19 not 1.99.

        • Rebecca

my Walgreens ad didn't have the RR listed for kleenex; (they were $2.19–bogo). The clerk said the store limit was 4, I was bummed b/c I had 2 q 50c/3. I only got four and used 1 q. $1 RR printed (courtesy of Kleenex). I wish I could have gotten 6 used both q's and got $3 RR. :( oh well

      • tammynelson

Ours were $1.99 but the second one rang up as $0.20 even thought the ad said it was supposed to be free. Will be going back later when the manager is there to try and straighten that out. The “lead” person they had today was so rude and unhelpful I gave up trying to reason with her.

        • guest

If regular price is $2.19, then your $1.99 plus $0.20 is basically the same thing as bogo b/c the 2 of them add up to the regular price of 1. Sometimes Walgreens has their registers do completely silly things. Check the regular price at your store and see if it's regularly $2.19, if so then the pricing was actually correct even if it looks crazy to see it ring up that way.

    • lorhop

I just returned from my Walgreen's in Nashville. I did the kleenex deal…I bought 6 and had 2 .50/3 coupons. The sale paper reads bogo…they had a sale sticker that read buy one @ 1.99 or two at 2.19. They made me pay 2.19 per two boxes instead of 1.99. The asst. mgr. said that alot of stores were going to this…something about trying to collect tax money up front. Anyone had this problem?

      • MS

Here in Greenville, SC they are charging the same price $2.19 for 2 boxes.

      • Sometimes stores will do like 2 for $5 or something and the two items will ring up at odd prices, or if it's a B1G1 one will ring up at a penny. But I don't know about rolling the tax into the price of the item upfront – how would they report taxes to the state? You can also deduct sales tax in Tennessee so they are messing up your deduction with improper detail. I think the manager might have misspoken.

Sorry if this is a repost, I don't have time to read down for a second time today to see if anybody else caught this.
Lysol wipes (the big tubs) are normally $5.49 apiece, but they have sets of 2 packaged by Lysol marked B1G1 free – but they rang up at $3.99 a set in the Spring Hill Tenn store. Then, the cashier accepted my coupon for $1 off 2! So 2 large tubs for $2.99! I ran home and got my second coupon and got another 4 pack. The coupons are with the Lysol coupons in Smart Source in the Tennessean – I got these from one of the inserts with a Valentine's Day header, don't recall the date but Lysol regularly prints $1/2 in the inserts. Make sure you look for the special B1G1 sets – on a different display Wag's was selling singles at full price.

I couldn't get the Clorox wipe coupon to print but had a $1.50 off 2 coupon so thought I got a good deal until I saw this one. We use a lot of these so this was a blessing. If you need to buy supplies for your child's school again this year this is a great way to do it!

    • tammy

can someone please explain the b1g1 q to me. if i buy product x i get product y for free… but can i also use a coupon for product y or x or both?? so lost here, thanks in advance!

    • ajrl

**Deal Alert** I went into Walgreens yesterday to buy some milk. They always have the cheapest milk ($2.69), so I always buy my milk at Wags. Right beside the milk was a Sara Lee bread display with a coupon for $1 off milk wyb any Sara Lee soft and smooth product. They have Sara Lee bread on sale 2/$3 and there's a $0.55/1 q for Sara Lee soft and smooth in the RP 2/21. I bought 2 loaves for $1.90 (that's $0.80 a loaf!!!!) and also got $1 off my milk which made it $1.69. So I got 2 loaves of bread and a gallon of milk for $3.59…not bad if I do say so myself! The q for $1 off milk expires either 3/4 or 3/6.

      • guest

        2 loaves for $1.90 is $0.95 a loaf. :)

        • ajrl

Sorry for my incompetent math skills at 6am…$0.95 a loaf is still a great buy in my opinion.

      • Brooke82

I meant to get milk there last night because I saw on the sign how cheap it was, but I forgot. I am going back today because I have the same coupons and I am going to look for the $1 off milk coupon. Thanks!!!!

    • Stephanie

Where do you see the RR for Kleenex? Was it a printable at Walgreen's at one time and the offer is still good? I wanted to buy the 6 but want the RR. It is not posted in my store either — just the bogo.

      • Amy

This is the same for our Walgreens. I looked at the Wags flyer Jenny posted and still don't see anything about RRs back. Can anyone help me know where this is listed?

        • Janene

I had the same problem. I couldn't find anything about RR for that Kleenex purchase.

      • jhoran

You know, I never questioned the RR's on that deal. You're right, its not in the flyer, but I got the 6 at 2.19 bogo, and also 2 free uprights – 1 on each 3 boxes. This q I had for the free upright was on a tearpad about a year ago and I grabbed a bunch. They expire at the end of 2010. Little did I suspect how handy they would come in. I paid .38 for the eight boxes.

    • Carolyn

Note that the package of Cottonelle at Walgreens is BIG rolls, not double rolls, so consider that in your pricing of the deal.

    • Athomemom

If I have 2 BOGO coupons for purex and 2 $1.00 off coupons, will Walgreens let me use all 4 if I am buying 4 purex's??

      • guest

If you are buying the ones that are on sale BOGO, then most likely no. You would only be able to use the bogo coupons to make it free (except for tax of course). If you are buying the sheets which are on sale 2/$9, then you may be able to combine the coupons depending on your store and cashier. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

      • socoupon

I only bought two – but this worked for me. I used the BOGO coupon with the $1/1 coupon.

      • cpnhottie

I bought 2 this morning using a BOGO coupon and a $1 off coupon. Had no problems with it. I would think you should be able to do it if you are buying 4 also.

    • casey728

I am very frustrated with Walgreens right now. I had ten dollars worth of walgreen rewards that expired on the 26th. I usually just buy my milk because I have had trouble with my register rewards in the past so I just try and go simple and just purchase my milk there. I went on the 26th and they were out. I asked the manager and she stated there truck did not come in. I asked her if they would still honor the coupons even if they were expired and she said yes!! So I went by the 27 no milk and on the 28th the manager said they could not take my coupon! I told her my situation and she said no. I would have bought other things on that day if they would not have told me that. I can honestly say I am done with Walgreen!! I never have these problems at CVS!!

      • My Wag's won't let me use RR for milk – the say that's part of an agreement between them and the vendor. Even though the first time I tried it went through. My Publix and Kroger will take RR for milk so I just use it for groceries.

If the manager kept telling me that he would extend the date so I could buy milk then turned around and said no, I would call corporate. He cost you money. If he told you up front then you could have used the RR before they expired. I would ask for a giftcard with store credit to replace my money.

        • And since they are manufacturer's coupons, a grocery store might still take them if they've only been expired less than a week. Worth asking!

          • casey728

That's a good idea I might try that. I have contacted corporate. I actually found the products that I had the register rewards from so I am seriously thinking about taking them back!! I would not have bought them without the register rewards I just don't know what their policy is on returning the items when you get register rewards. i am just so upset about losing ten dollars!! If it was 2 i would be over it. They have never said anything about the diary ever but I just saw where it says that. Has anyone ever returned anything you got register rewards on? Is it a problem? I can't deal with that manager to much longer!!

            • jhoran

You only have to have the receipt. RR's cannot be given back and in most cases, they don't even remember what got what RR's and even if they do, there's nothing they can do about it, since they're being issued by the catalina company. So, get back your money if that's what you want to do.

    • Lindsay

Ditto to everything negative said about Walgreens. I have had too many bad experiences there to even explain! I really WANT to like them but every time I go in there I come out frustrated saying I will never go back. Maybe I should just listen to myself ;)

    • ShannonStrader

Went to WAGS to do the Huggies deal. Brought my newly printed $2 off Huggies coupons, but when I got there, there was a whole stack of copied coupons placed in the rack with the Huggies. They were about the size of a half sheet of paper and expired on 5/31/10. They looked like those that were being copied in the past. Like the ones that come in the home mailers but larger. I thought maybe someone just sat them there, but there was a WAGS sign up with the coupons that said $6.99 after coupon. Anyone else seen this? Are these legit?

      • nfg

These coupons are legit. I use them all the time. I bought them on a ebay a while back for .99. It is a PDF file from Graco I believe. Anytime I need a coupon I just print the same one with no limit. I've used them in Wags and CVS. And yes, when they print, they are huge!

    • darkenmind1326

is this correct? Starting with NO RR's.
Kotex pads 14-24 ct $5 RR wyb 930

      -$2/2 pkgs of Kotex
      -$1/1 any Kotex product
      = $5.97 oop, getting $5 RR back
      =$0.97/3 or $0.33/1

Is it possible to do the same thing and get $10RR in the same transaction?

      • astridholliman11

You'd have to do 2 transactions. But you couldn't use the RR that you just got for the first one to buy the 2nd because you're only supposed to get one deal.

        • wolverinehokie

I just found out you can get a $4 mail in rebate from Kotex if you sign up for their challenge. You can make money doing this!

    • savysaver

My Walgreens ad doesn't have RR on the kleenex, is this something regional???

    • ShannonStrader

Two questions: Can I use the $1 off two Colorsilk and the 1.99 in-ad coupon?

Also, my WAGS has Venus Embrace razors on clearance for 5.79. Can I use the $2 off Q and the free bodywash coupon? Does WAGS allow both?

      • astridholliman11

Should be able to do both. 1 manufacturer Q and one store Q per item. It's my understanding that the free body wash Q would get applied to the body wash and doesn't count against the razors. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong:)

    • kimr74

Here's a deal I just found using another website that post Walgreen ad deals
Purex laundry det. is b1g1 at Walgreens, it you use the b1g1 coupon from RP 2/21 it makes it free (the coupon has a value up to $70 and the price is 5.99 for 2) . I did it yesterday and walked out with 2 bottles and also did a Revlon deal on single eyeshadows they are on sale for 1.99 so I used my $2 off from SS 2/28 and I only paid .69 cents for all 3 items.

    • Suemh

I went to Walgreens in Lexington, SC to do the Tylenol and the Kotex RR deals. However, none of these products were marked for the deal and I could not find them in the flyer. Are the deals regional or am I missing something?

      • socoupon

I always make sure I have the weekly ad in hand to check the products. All the Walgreens I go to in the Greenville area rarely ever have the shelf tags on the sale items. I don't understand why they do this – but if you have the ad in hand when you go, it helps you find what's actually on sale. It's not marked on the shelf, but will USUALLY ring up sale price – but always make sure of this as well since their register system is a bit kooky. WAGS RR system is definitely harder to do, but it can be rewarding if you get it right!

I didn't buy the Tylenol, but I got the Kotex deal this week!

    • loridavidson

Got two Purex and two cans of black olives, $2.06! YAH! Thanks!!!

    • asl

Didnt get my RRs for the Nyquil. My store had 12 oz bottles for the same price and im not sure but i think thats why, online it specifies 10 oz. I would take them back but am not sure how that would all play out with all of the Qs i used. I ended up paying $14 for 2 Nyquil, 2 Dayquil, 2 Puffs. It seems to me that I would get $14 back and have to pay 24.78 to get that same deal again for the $10 RRs but have no Qs now. I am correct?

    • kab0511

Our Walgreens has many items on closeout. Vaseline Sheer Infusion body lotion is marked down from 10 to 5 bucks and there is a coupon for1.50 off. Also Ambi skin care is marked down ALOT and there is a 3 dollors off Ambi coupon on Ambi.com. Also closeouts of Vanity Fair Plates, Airwick scented oil plug ins (just the plug), and much more so check your local Walgreens!!!!!

    • I got a pretty good deal on Cottonelle Toilet Paper today at Walgreens.

3 12pack Cottonelle Toilet Paper at 5.99 each
      -3 $1 off coupons

      Total OOP $14.97
      Plus I got back $5 in Register Rewards that makes it 9.97. That's 3.32 a 12-pack!!!

    • mas

Hi. I have a coupon for B1G1 for Purex laundry soap which I saw was already B1G1 this week at Walgreens for $5.99. How much would each one come out to?

      • guest

It will depend on your store. Some stores will allow you to purchase 2 bottles ($5.99 + $0.00) and use 1 b1g1 coupon, taking off $5.99 for the coupon and allowing you to pay only tax for the 2 bottles – that's the best possible scenario, with a store that actually understands that they are going to get reimbursed the full value for the coupon and that the store's b1g1 sale is giving you 1 free while the b1g1 coupon is giving you the other for free. If you get a store that tries to argue about you getting both items for free, you may attempt to point out to them that coupons are a *form of payment*, not a discount, and that they are going to be reimbursed the $5.99 for the coupon just as if you had paid in cash. Sometimes this will work and they'll suddenly 'get it', sometimes it won't. It is the truth, however they just may not 'get it'. Depends on the people working in the store.

Some stores will allow you to purchase 2 bottles ($5.99 + $0.00) but will only take off $2.99 or $3.00 for the bogo coupon (INSISTING that you are only entitled to half the value of 1 bottle for the coupon since the 2 bottles only add up to $5.99 – annoying), leaving you to pay approximately $3.00 plus tax for 2 bottles. At some stores the bottles may ring up as $2.99 and $3.00 instead of $5.99 and $0.00, and in some cases those stores will insist that you are only entitled to $2.99 or $3.00 off for the coupon b/c of the way they ring up, even though the signs in the store clearly say 'buy 1, get 1 free' and not 'half price'. Also annoying as that is NOT how the sale is advertised – the sale is advertised as 'buy 1 for $5.99, get 1 for free' but in some stores the bottles each ring up at half-price.

Some stores will allow you to purchase 3 bottles ($5.99 + $0.00 + $5.99) and use the b1g1 coupon to take off $5.99 so that you pay $5.99 plus tax for 3 bottles (this is at some stores where they INSIST that you must pay for at least 1 bottle – annoying). If you get one of those stores that INSISTS that you must pay for 1 bottle and they actually ring up $5.99 and $0.00 at that store, you are better off getting 4 bottles ($5.99 + $0.00 + $5.99 + $0.00) and using the bogo coupon to take off $5.99 so that you pay $5.99 plus tax for 4 bottles.

So basically, you really don't know what's going to happen until you get there and try it out. Be prepared for all possibilities, and be prepared to attempt to politely explain your coupon usage if they seem put-off by you getting it for free. If you have trouble getting them to let you get both items for free, but you are polite with them in your explanation, you may possibly win them over to your side. No guarantees though.

    • Mamastasia

So, I just learned that Walgreens doesn't require the customer to relinquish their store coupons! (Yes, I'm a little slow.) This means that I can use my $1 Huggies coupon from the Children's activity book over & over again this week. HOORAY!

    • joettebeelow

HELP PLease!! Listed under the Claritan in Walg. ad this week is a $4 off coupon supposedly in Smart Source Feb 21. I subscribe to three newspapers two of which are the State and The Post and Courier and none have this coupon . I even went back and looked in all the previous flyers I have . Can anyone give me advice on how to find the coupon? I have some BOGO Enfamil coupons and a few baby coupons I will trade for some Claritan ones or ROC or any Cosmetics

      • jhoran

I can send you mine since I don't use them. They expire on 3/20 and it will probably arrive too late for the sale, but you're welcomed to have them.

        • joettebeelow

I would like them anyway . My daughter has to use Claritan, so maybe another store will put them on sale.
Do I just give you my address? I am new to southern savers. Thanks

While we're Walgreens-bashing, I have attempted to get a rain check on RR items and been told by the store manager that I can only get the rain check for the sale price, but not the RR. [Comparatively, CVS will bend over backward to issue rain checks that include not only sale price but ECBs and even coupons that are about to expire.] Plus, the manager at my local Walgreen's is possibly the most sullen and uncooperative individual I have ever met. I try to avoid him whenever possible.

Actually, I have a hard time figuring out why this guy is in a position of such high public contact. I almost feel sorry for him because he is obviously unhappy dealing with customers. Thank goodness for the makeup counter lady!

Are all Walgreens the same: sullen managers but great cosmetic counter assistants? Maybe they should modify their management recruiting program . . .

    • DonnaSTN

Question if anyone could help. I'm going to buy the purex for 2/$9. I have a B1G1 coupon, can I use a $1 off with it as well or just the one? I'm thinking just the one but I figured since I'm buying 2…

      • DonnaSTN

Nevermind…saw someone already asked this question!

    • Yippee!!

I went to Walgreens this aftertoon and scored me 5 Walgreens brand diapers for 10.95 which were 2.19 each!! That's a steal if I say so myself!!

    • hhimommy

About the Reach Prevent Toothbrush and floss deal… The floss that is on “sale” with the store coupon for 0.99 is the Johnson and Johnson floss. But the mfc Q is for Reach floss. Also, my WAGS didn't have a Reach Prevent toothbrush, so I wasn't able to combine the store Q (0.99) and the mfc Q for $1/1. Just thought I'd point that out, since I was very confused about what covered what….

Also, all of the coupons in the March booklet have wording that says, “Manufacturer coupon good only at Walgreen's”. I was thrown off by that, but the manager said that they are STORE coupons and can be stacked with mfc coupons. I had NO PROBLEM at all at the checkout. But the mgr did say that his store was pretty liberal with coupons.

    • teda

I hope others are lucky and may have found these Q's.. back when Kroger had the Kleenex for $1 around Christmas'ish.. There was a tearpad display with Q's for B3G1 free which goes nicely with .55/3 Qs I have a few so I'm excited about roughly.23 Kleenex…. To bad bilo's not having a deal they double .55 Qs
But I agree Walgreens is more of a hassel than CVS.. I have one that I prefer though and the milk is price locked at 1.99, sure hope I can find the saralee and milk tearpad..

Okay, everyone. Time to feel really sorry for grandma. I concur with everyone that Wags is a headache. But I found a really nice staff at one in Anderson, SC. It is my poor brain that got me in trouble today. I didn't have my list made out to a T so I messed up from the beginning. The dumbest thing I did was to start putting all my filler items on the counter first. I think the cashier knew these were probably my filler items and even asked if I was sure I wanted to start with these items.

Then I paid for other things in transactions before I started getting things that gave me RR's. She asked me several times if I wanted to do that transaction next. I was so confused that I just said that was fine. She knew I was having a terrible time, but she did miss one thing herself. She had told me I didn't need to clip any store coupons. So I ended up paying full price for the cream soup minus a .40/4 coupon. I over spent terribly on that transaction.

This store even helps old ladies shop, pushing the cart and picking up items off the shelves for them. That is why I decided this would be my store of choice even though I pass several on my way to this one. Corner of Whitehall and Main Street.

The manager helped me straighten out my mess when I picked up the wrong toothpaste and didn't get my RR for it. Dug out the coupon and everything to start over again.

If the attitude of the staff is that nice I don't mind “trying” to do Wags, but I totally agree that CVS is much easier and I like Rite Aid's cash back even better.

Also, would like to share briefly the outcome of my Olay Regenerist Rebate debacle. I had dropped and broken one of the items for the rebate and the cashier picked up a Definity item by mistake. Well, I purchased about six Olay items so I wrote a letter to explain what happened hoping to get my rebate anyway. I received a reply from Olay today. My envelope, letter, receipt and rebate form were all enclosed along with a letter saying they were sorry they couldn't give me the rebate without the second Regenerist product but they were extending the rebate offer until March 31. They said to send all back after purchasing another Regenerist product. including their letter to me and they would gladly send me the $15 rebate. I thought it was a good gesture on their part. So I am looking for a good sale on Regenerist before that date.

Thanks for listening to one poor old grandma!

    • maryccc

this may have been mentioned but there was a new $1 kotex coupon on coupons.com this week.

    • dcj81172

My Walgreens was totally OUT of the Purex liquid for the $5.99 BOGO deal. I got a raincheck for 4 bottles since I also had 2 Purex BOGO coupons that expire tomorrow. I called my CVS this morning and talked to the manager about matching the Purex BOGO sale that Walgreens was having, explaining that they were out of the detergent and I had to get a raincheck. He AGREED to honor the WG sale!!! So, I happily purchased (or got FREE) four, 32-load bottles of Purex at CVS today!

      • guest

Wow that is really nice of your CVS store. And you're really lucky that you have a manager who will match a competitor's sale – it is not CVS policy so you've got a really nice manager there.

      • lisaharrell

The CVS on Main St in Summerville matches Walgreen's ads.

    • jennifr1966

Just found in the Red Plum 2/21 a BOGOF Purex Sheets! So that would be 4 for $9 plus $1 back in RR! expires today!
