I’m excited to say that the South Beach Bars printable coupon is back!!  They are FREE this week at Walgreens after register rewards, so pair this with the deal and you will technically make $1 to buy them.

The Deal:

Get $6 RR wyb South Beach Snack or Meal Bars 5 ct., at $5.99

Buy the bars, use the $1 off coupon, and then pay $4.99.  They will then hand you $6 to use on your next purchase!!

At that price I’m up for trying them out.

Check out all the deals at Walgreens this week.

Some of these are good, though I was very unimpressed with the smore’s variety!

I got the Peanut Butter yesterday, and it was very tasty and a satisfying little substitute for lunch today.

    • Zarate06

The S’mores Fiber Fit bars are amazingly good!

    • Theresa

Almost bought these, but read the label first! They don’t work on Atkins, too much sugar!  :-(

    • Kim

Bought 3 boxes of these in the past 2 days wish I had had the coupon then, but very happy I have now so I can buy more!

    • Lynn Kramer

The peanut butter ones are awesome!  Been a fan of them since they first came out.  Noticed the last time there were coupons that Publix and Bi-Lo weren’t carrying them so thanks for letting me know where I should look.  And thanks for the coupon!

      • JustMe

I saw them at Publix (3.19) yesterday in the “diet” or supplement section, not with the other breakfast bars.  I eat them for breakfast and cinnamon raisin is my favorite.

Thanks for posting this deal! Though I wish I had known ahead of time that the RR can not be used on the same product that was purchased to get the RR with. So I couldn’t buy one box, use the coupon, pay 5.05, get the 6$RR and then use the 6$RR on the next box purchase.
It is (my) Walgreens policy that a second RR would NOT print if the first was used in this manner. Thankfully the cashier let me know, and I got my $12 RR anyways.

It is the Walgreens policy, not just your Walgreens policy.  Walgreens is pretty complicated.  Read their policy and look at Jenny’s scenarios and commentary about Walgreens before you try next time.  It will decrease the confusion.

Just read an article attached to another post that Wags is being sured for coupon fraud.

Thanks SO much for this.  I have already bought several boxes.  Free is good, but making a buck every time I buy is even better!  I will be buying even more now.  I have one for breakfast every morning and they are so yummy and now I do not have to whip up egg whites!

Woo hoo! Thanks so much! I start phase 2 of south beach tomorrow and was NEEDING these bars! I bought two packs with coupons spent $10 and got $12 in RR!

I am normally a CVS or Kroger couponer. But a fellow couponer likes Walgreens over CVS. So I decided to try it today. This was my plan:
      1st transaction: 1 South Beach bar ($1 Q)= pay $5 get $6RR

      2nd : 2 wheat thins ($1 Q=$3for both), 2 Neutrogena bars (2 $1.50 off Q=$1for both), 1 box South beach bar ($1Q=$5) total $9 -$6RR = pay 3 get $6RR

      3rd: 1 Venus razor $9.99, 1 venus refill $14.99, ($5 Qfor both), 1 gillette deodarant ($1off)= total $29.97-$6Q-$6RR= pay $18 get $10RR.

4th: Repeat above but now with $10RR= pay $14 get $10RR

Only the first transaction worked. When I did the 2nd, I was told I would not get the RR because you cant use RR to rebuy same item. DIDNT know that! So I said no problem….I will just switch trans #3 & 4. So she rang up the razors….NO RR were printed because it has to be $30 at checkout which means after coupons. DIDNT know that either! So now the razor deal is not worth it at all.  So I went back to trans #2.

I left Walgreens with $6RR but not happy. While CVS limits how many times you can earn a RR deal at least you have complete freedom to get the price down. I think I will stick with CVS for now….

I had a similar experience today and yesterday at Walgreens. I didn’t much like the fact that I should have gotten (2) $5 rewards and a $6 reward and I only got (1) $5 reward today. Yesterday, I gave up a $1 coupon because I didn’t want to argue with the manager after trying to reason with her and explain several times.

Forgot to mention. My final trip was:
      1st: SB bars= pay 5.42 get 6RR

      2nd: 2 wheat thins, 2 neutrogena bars, 2 colgate (had 2 $1Q), 33cent filler= paid 3.63 get 2RR

      3rd: SB bars, 33cent filler= pay 3.84 get 6RR for future use.

Not bad but I felt limited.

      Neutrogena bars

My Walgreens was out of South Beach Bars.  They gave me a rain check but said they would not honor the Register Rewards with the rain check.  Is this common at Walgreens?
