        I don’t own a Blue Ray but both 4 disc combos come with a DVD version of the movies as well, so it’s a really good deal. You could either hold onto to the Blue Ray versions or give them to someone who has one. Just a thought.

          Just got home from Bestbuy(Harbison)! The sticker price for the UP 4-disc combo is $34.99. When the clerk scanned it, it showed $23.99. He took the $10.00 coupon I printed…so my cost was less than $16 w/ tax. I plan to break up the combo among christmas stockings. VERY PROUD of this deal. Thank you for telling us about this!!

        play the blu rays on reg. DVD player.

        Lisa, that is what Best Buy is advertising (the 4 disc combo pack) and it looks like the Target ad also shows the 4 disc combo pack in their ad, so just do a price-match at Target (take your Best Buy ad).

      I noticed the Best Buy ad also says “Save $10 wyb UP plus any of these items (Monsters Inc included). So if they take MQs it would seem like you could get the same price at Target OR Best Buy (with out the hassle of price matching at Target).

        OK,just read the fine print. The $18.99 price is AFTER you apply the $10 off… Bummer. Oh well, off to Target I guess. :)

      Has anyone else tried to do price match at Target? I tried and it was a PAIN. You had to go through the line and pay the Target price, THEN go to Guest Service with the ad and they would “match” or refund the price…however if you are using a Target coupon, it lowers the price on the item on the receipt so the “match” is useless….
      TOO HARD…
      Is there a better way, anyone?

        When you are doing a price match at Target, it works much better to check out at the Customer Service desk at the front of the store. They’ll do the price match and then apply any coupons that you have in addition to the match. Hope this is of some help.

          Same thing here! I was told to go to guest services with coupons in hand. Otherwise, you don’t get the full discount.

      I didnt know Target participated in price matching. How does it work? Do you just take the ad to the register?

        You have to take the ad and you purchase items to the Customer Service desk to check out. They apply the price match and then any coupons that you have. I’ve done it once before for Halloween candy and it wasn’t difficult at all.

      I just got back from Target and they would not let me use all three coupons. The Target coupon says limit one offer per transaction and they wouldn’t let me use it with the other coupons. I think they are wrong but they wouldn’t back down. Should I have said something else?

        The lady at the service desk at my Target said the same thing, but I made her call over a manager and he told her that it was ok to use all three coupons. He told her that you can use up to ONE Target and ONE Man. coupon on the same item.

      I went to Target and they would not price match because their Up pack contained a special “Adventure Journal” So I tried Best Buy but they would not let me use coupons with their ten dollars off. The ten dollars off is the price in the ad- it is not additional. Not a good morning!

      And when you print the $5 rebate for the Bird’s Eye Voila, you can also print a $1 off coupon wyb 2 meals and with Publix BOGO … that is a super deal! Two dinners and two movies for less then $10!!!

      Has anyone tried this? My UP coupon says not to be used in conjuction with any other coupon so will I have issues using it with the target coupon? My Target is a pain with coupons so I want to know before I fight them :)

        I just got back from Target and got a great deal. The Up Blu Ray combo pack rang up 19.99 (so no need to price match it to 23.99), but I did price match the Monsters Inc to $18.99. I used the target coupon along with the $10 off UP coupon…but the pack I got also had a $10 coupon on it (for buying both UP and Monsters Inc)…so I used that instead of the $8 printable coupon for Monsters Inc. My total for both of them was $8.98 plus tax!! That’s pretty darn awesome:)

          I had the same extra $10 off coupon and didn’t know what to do with it! I should have been smarter and used it instead of the $8 like you did. Oh well, I paid $12.74 for both of mine. My Target did not have any trouble price matching and honoring coupons (I am in MI), but my sister in KS couldn’t get the deal at her Target. Bummer!

      Monster’s Inc is not $18.99 at Best Buy unless you buy both UP and Monster’s Inc, because the deal is $10 off when you buy both. The price is $28.99. Will Target let you price match an offer?
      Best Buy should allow you to yse both coupons since they are manufacturers, I think you just got the wrong person to deal with unfortunately. I am going to Best Buy after lunch to try.

        I tried this deal yesterday at our Target…I had to go to guest servies for the price match. After much debating amongst the staff and them finally calling for a manager, they said they couldn’t price match on the Monsters, Inc movie because it was a “if you buy Up, then you can buy Monsters, Inc for $18.99″. I tried telling them that I was buying the same combo at Target, but they wouldn’t buy it. However, the Up Blu-Ray 4-disc set rang up at $19.99 at my Target.

      I did a price match at Target yesterday. Not for this particular deal but for the Barbie Three Muskateers DVD. It is $9.99 in the Toys R Us flyer. So when I was in line I told the girl up front that I had to price match the dvd. I showed her the ad and she did it at the register. Then I rang up 15 toddler disp. wipes, 3 Santa Mr. Potato Heads, Connect 4 game, and 15 bakery items that were $.99 each. Hubby was with me so he bought two pounds of Jelly Belly jelly beans too. I ended up spending $12 for everything! The cashier said to me ‘Now that’s the way to coupon!”. This was a first for Target! LOL Hubby liked that my transaction was $86 before coupons……….great savings!

      I only need the UP dvd, so I’m just going to go to Best Buy (I already have a $5 gift card). So I’ll only pay $8.99 before all of the rebates ($9 or $10)! Not bad for my daughter’s birthday present! I LOVE COUPONS!

      MINUS: MONTERS Inc coupon $10.00 -(This one is on the DVD-BD package so 10 instead of 8.00)
      MINUS: DISNEY coupon $10.00 on Up.

      Total before taxes is 8.98 for both!! Yippeeeeee!!

          Also, even if your store is out of MONSTERS INC, the Up combo pack is ringing up 19.99 – then minus the 10.00 disney coupon makes it 9.99 for just one or 8.98 for both.

      My husband just finished up at Target. They told him they would not allow coupons on top of price matching (which I don’t think is right, but I wasn’t with him to argue). However, he got UP and Monsters Inc at the Target prices and used the coupons and Got both bluray sets for a little over $21 with tax (you pay taxes on the total BEFORE coupons are applied).

      FYI…my Target would not let me price match and use ANY coupons on top of that- not even the Target coupon. However, Target’s price for UP is cheaper than Best Buy anyway ($19.99).

      I went to Target today, and had a little bit of trouble but it all worked out in the end. I got UP, Monster’s Inc, and a pack of gum for $13.99 after tax. I saved $51! The only problem I had is that I wanted to buy more but they only had one Monster’s Inc left. The guy said only three came in their shipment! Hopefully they will get more in tonight.

      Tried this today. My Target (M’boro, TN) had the UP Dvd for 19.99, so I was happy about that! However, they would not match the Monsters INC price because they said it was a “bundle deal” and even though I was buying UP like the ad says, they don’t match “bundle deals”. I still thought it was worth it at 26.99, since I saved $4 on the UP dvd. They did accept my coupons, so my total before tax was 18.98. Plus I will get the mail in rebates, so NOT BAD! Thanks again Jenny!!

      Went to Target in NE Columbia today…..got the deal….but SCRUTINIZED all the way. In the end, Customer Service says you can have the price match for UP, but NOT for Monsters Inc because Target’s price match policy is NOT for BOGO offers, etc (which is what the Best Buy deal technically is). They didn’t bat an eye, however, about using MFR coupons and Target q’s. Also, customer service says if you are ever price matching and have coupons, go STRAIGHT to customer service to avoid problems at checkout. Good Luck!

      What an amazing deal! At my Target (Greer, SC) the UP 4 disc combo rang up for $19.99 although the price tag on the shelf said $26.99! So after the coupon it was only $9.99! They were out of the Monsters Inc. blu ray combo pack, but it was supposed to come in on a truck tomorrow. I might go back and get it if they will rering it together so I can use the coupon. Even if not, still was a great deal after I mail in the rebates it will be FREE!

      Okay so I went to target with my best buy ad and all the coupons. First the UP DVD rand up at $19.99 not the $26.99 Woo hoo So I got the UP for $19.99 and the Monsters Inc for $18.99 than used all three coupons for a total of $13.01 than i had just recieved a $5.00 gift card for buying 5 glad candles so in total my out of pocket for these 2 DVDs was $8.01!!!!! I was so HAPPY!!!

      My Target was sold out of Monster’s Inc., so I went to Best Buy. They matched Target’s price of 19.99 for Up and then I got Monster’s Inc. for 18.99. I used both coupons and got them for 23.32. Not too bad. Wish I could have gotten that extra $10 off that Target is offering.

      Target in Greer, SC did the deal. Up was already $19.99. They matched Monsters Inc. at $18.99. -$18 of manu coups and the $10 Target coup gave me the total of about $11. I think I might go back tomorrow and do it one more time.

      Guys this deal actually is one of target’s exclusions as listed in their price match policy because this deal is actually a bundle deal @ Best Buy so anyone who is able to get it is lucky but others shouldn’t be angry/upset. ……

      Just got back from Target (Birmingham Target on 280) and had no problem getting this deal. Went straight to cust. service desk for price matching on the Monster’s Inc. and used Target $10 off and man Q’s –however because I price matched she lowered $10 man Q to 8.99??? But I was happy to get the deal regardless. Also picked up Santa potato head for 5.99 and used $5 off man Q.

      I went to my target – Madison, TN – they had the UP DVD, but were out of the Monsters, Inc. They gave me a rain check for both Monsters Inc and UP – I explained what I wanted to do with my transaction to the guy at customer service – he said he would have no problem with that – He also told me that they should be having a shipment come in tonight, so I’m going to try to get there first thing in the AM – Let’s hope the helpful man in customer service is still there!

      Who should you complain to about the bricks coupon printer? I first thought it didn’t work on my computer because we have a Mac but after talking to a few of my friends with window computers I have found this is not the case. It really stinks that we have to miss out on all the good coupons because of this glitch in their system. I have tired all the helps they offer and have even googled it and tried a few other things. In the end there is just no way to get it to work. Sigh…

      I tried to do this deal last night. After going to the closest target, and finding they were out of the Monsters Inc DVD, they called another target and had someone put the last DVD on hold for us at the Customer service desk. We drove over there, only to find that the guy in the electronics dept. had sold the copy on hold for us right before we got there. We were not happy, and talked to a manager. She called another store and put one on hold for us there, and gave us coupons for $9 off our next purchase at Target. While I’m not too happy at Targets’ customer service, I still hope to get this deal, and am happy the manager was kind enough to give us coupons for our trouble. I guess it pays to report your problems sometimes!

      Went to Best Buy last night and they took the manufacture coupons and they also took the Target coupon and I got both DVD’s for 14.98 at Best Buy. So if you are having a problem with Target. Talk to Customer Service at BB and they want your business so they will take the Target coupon.

      Don’t try Harbison Target. They only ordered THREE Blu-Ray Monsters Inc. copies! They said they didn’t know it was going to be so popular, so apparently they weren’t familiar with the coupon for buying both! They had no idea when there would be more copies in stock!

      I just went to the Target in McDonough, GA.. they had rain checks out for Monsters, Inc… but I went ahead and got UP.

      It rang up for $19.99, so after the $10 manufacturer coupon and the rebates it works out to $.99 or FREE! :)

      The Target in south Lakeland, FL, honored every part of this deal. I was able to price match Up to $19.99 as seen in a Wal-Mart ad, and used an additional $10 manufacturer’s coupon which was attached to Monsters, Inc. I ended up paying a total of $3 for both 4-disc sets without any of the rebates.

      I tried this at Target in Charlotte, and they would not allow me to do it. I went directly to Guest Services. First the lady told me that I could either price adjust to the Best Buy ad or use coupons, not both. They also would not allow me to use the both the Target coupon and the manufacturers’ coupons. The UP price is 19.99, and the Monsters, Inc. price is 26.99. She begrudgingly allowed me to use a 10$ coupon for the UP and the 10$ coupon off the box for the Monsters, Inc. So, I was able to get both for $ 26.99. Not a bad price, but not as good as I had hoped ! The lady said they had a store meeting this morning coaching them on how to handle this. She said they could not allow me to do it because I would not be paying anything for the 2 DVDs. (Actually not true) She also said they could not allow it because someone could return the DVDs and get a full refund, without having paid them anything. It sounds like a lot of others had much better luck than I did !!!

      Thanks Jenny,, Can’t wait to meet you tonight! I got this deal yesturday. I had trouble finding both and the same place so the nice Lady and Target off of 150 told me to buy the one in bessemer and come back to her and to buy the other and she would let me use all my coupons. I went to Bessemer to buy Up and it rung up for $19.99 cheaper than they advertised and Best Buy and I used the $10.00 coupon. Paid 11.79 and then went to Target on 150 and got Monster Inc and Price match and she took of the $8.00 manf and $10.00 target coupon for a grand total of 1.80,, So all together I paid 13.59… Yeah plus I can get the $5 rebate w/purchase of the Volia product from Publix.. YEAH!

      I went to my Target (Woodruff Rd, Greenville, SC) and they told me they do NOT price match Best Buy. A manager came and told me that they only price match their competetors- which consists of K-mart and Wal-mart and because Best Buy is an “electronics store” they won’t price match them. UGH. So I called the next closest Target (Fairview Rd, Simpsonville, SC) and the lady said they DO price match Best Buy…so my hubby and I headed there. We were told to go to Customer Service to check out…so we did. There was no problem with price matching Best Buy but the guy ringing it up got the price match backwards. UP rang up for $19.99 (instead of the advertised $26.99) and he price matched it to $18.99, which was Best Buy’s price for Monsters, Inc. Then, he rung up Monsters, Inc. for $26.99 (Target price) and price matched it to $23.99 (Best Buy’s price for UP). So he got the price match backwards! Ugh. However, he did take the 2 man. coupons and the $10 Target coupon so I got both combo packs for $14.98 plus tax, so I really can’t complain.

      I tried getting the two at Best Buy and use both manufacturers’ coupons but was told by customer service that I couldn’t “double dip”, get a sale price and use coupons (which I think is bogus). So I left and went to Target, got UP for $19.99 and used the $10 off coupon but MONSTERS’ INC was out and had to get a rain check. Customer service said to bring in my UP receipt and the $10 Target coupon when I purchase MONSTERS’ INC (when it’s back in stock) and I should be able to get the full deal.

      I had also tried to get this deal at Toys ‘R Us becuase I have a coupon for a $10 gift card when you spend $75 there. On the phone they said they match prices and take competitor coupons but when I got in the store they wouldn’t do it (it was a poor customer service experience).

      I went to the Target on White Bridge Rd. in Nashville last night and they price matched the Best Buy ad and took my 3 coupons with no problem! Also, the UP DVD was bundled with the journal for $19.99. I went to the customer service desk to price match for Monsters, Inc. and the CSM was so nice. She was trianing a new guy on how to price match, and also explained to him “she can use both a target coupon and a manufacturers coupon on each item”. I won’t be doing the rebate because I’m giving the DVDs as gifts, but still a great deal to get both movies for under $14 I think!

      I don’t know if anyone has been able to make this work at the Lexington, SC Target, but I have called three times and been to the store three times and still have not been able to find both DVDs in stock. Also, thee customer service desk folks there are rarely friendly or helpful, so I don’t expect to get this deal to work – even if they did manage to have both items in stock. Anyone else have a different experience with this store?

        I tried the deal on Wed and they didn’t have Monsters Inc, so then I went online and tried searched for it on their site. There is a button you can click that says find it in stores. Then you put in your zip and it gives lists the stores near you and the availablity. When I checked my stores on Wed, there were NONE, when I checked on Thursday all the stores said available. No use running to the store every day to check. So I hurried to the store and picked them up. They were very nice about it at customer service, they had to check about it and then decided to try it, said if all the coupons scanned they would take them. So it worked for me, but it seems like different stores are doing different things.

      All my targets were out of Monsters inc as well. I did mention the fact that my target coupon was only good if I bought both and was basically told oh well. I wish I would have thought to go to customer service and further push it.

      The coupons are all still good. (Target’s expires tuesday I think.) Walmart has UP for 19.99 this week. So I will continue to check on Monster’s Inc and see if anyone has it by then. If not, Walmart with the coupon then the rebates makes UP free. We already have Monster’s Inc and have watched it many many times. I only wanted it because it was going to be so cheap and I might could make it a present for someone.

      Wish me luck on finding both though.
