I really feel like I have no idea what day it is!  We did little tiny shopping trips this week for a few things here and there.  I have everything ready for a big trip to Publix, Kroger and CVS next week.  I can’t wait to feel like I actually shopped again!!

Kroger

This was one of those trips that you dread.  It’s 10:30 at night and your husband calls you on your way home to say he just used the last diaper you brought on your out of town trip.  The only store open was Publix.  To make the trip less painful I used my Free Oreo Cookie Coupons that came from signing up on Facebook.    At least I got to feel like I saved 50% when really I grabbed house brand diapers and saved nothing on them.  I don’t like having to pay for diapers…

      I saved 44% total for Publix and CVS.
      Total before sales and coupons = $160
      Total Spent = $99
      Total Saved = $71

      I spent $69.23 out-of-pocket for $182.60 worth of groceries. I saved $59.45 on store sales & $53.92 with coupons. Saved 62%!!

      Target's diapers are awesome!!! I stopped buying pampers after i tried targets brand! They are the same as pampers i think even better!!! Hold very well, and they are even bigger so u can buy a size smaller to get more diapers!!! Compared to buying a box of pampers at 25.00 or more u can get a box of target diapers for 13.00!!! I have even tried the targets brand tylonol sinus and others and I think it works better than the brand name!!! I so love target!!!

        who pays $25 for a box of Pampers/ Huggies diapers? You can always get them much cheaper than that if you plan it right… and even if you don't plan very well Rite-Aid usually has them for $19.99.

      Trip #1 I bought 16 cans of Green Giant veggies and 5 packs of Buddig lunch meat and a 20 oz Mt. Dew (I was thirsty no coupon :( and paid $3.24 the dang Mt. Dew was 1.39 LOL
      Trip #2 I bought 20 cans of Green Giant veggies and 3 packs of Buddig lunch meat and paid ….are you ready?….35 CENTS!!!!!!!!!!

      On another trip I was able to score 2 of the 4 pack Frusions for 50 cents total so 25 cents a piece…a bought a bunch! Kids were happy as well as the 45 cent Uncrustables

      FYI Publix in Florida does not double coupons..I got so excited when I see your breakdown of prices and coupon final prices until I realize the prices are bc coupons have been doubled :(

        You can still do really well at Publix even here in FL, My bill before sales/coupons was 103.85 and after sales and coupons I ended up paying $26.49. Althought it would be awesome if Publix in FL DID double coupons, I would end up walking out with everything for free.

          Yes I still do very well at Publix I just wanted those that were new to the site to realize the prices listed are usually after they are doubled and unfortunately we don't have that luxury. Agreed I would walk out with stuff for free> Even without doubling one day I got 20 cans of Green Giant veggies and 3 packs of Buddig lunch meat for 35 cents! Another day was 16 cans of veggies and 5 packs of lunch meat for $1.85!

          Today I am going to get the men's Sure deodorant and women's Sure deodorant and before tax my total will be 28 cents!

      Sorry you had a bad diaper buy there… if it makes u feel any better I had what should have been a big savings day at Publix last week turn into a mediocre 50% savings because I decided to buy some deli meat and cheese.

      Lost my Publix receipt but it was somewhere around this:

      Spent: $17
      Saved: $17 (50%)

      Winn-Dixie:

      Spent $3.52 (before $1.35 tax)
      Saved: $24.43 (87.4%)

      But to be fair, I did have a $10 in baby rewards at Winn-Dixie that got used on this transaction, plus a free thing of Farm Rich Mozzarella sticks from forever ago that I finally managed to claim (because they did not have them in stock when the deal was going on).

      apparently i need to get better at the cvs-ing. i have only done one trip…and still have my ecb's to use by 3/7/10. it never seems like there is anything on their ad that i need. i may just use my $11 ecb's on a pack of diapers.
