I agree that Textbooks are way to expensive, it took me a few years when I was in college to realize I had options other than the school bookstore. If you have old textbooks you want to sell because they are just taking up space on your bookshelf, now is the time. I’ve sold 4 books on half.com this week!

My awesome husband works full time to support our family so I can stay at home homeschooling our 2 sweet girls. Last year he started to take classes at our local Tech school to complete his Associates. :o) He has 3 semesters left!!! I’m SOOO PROUD of his hard work and willingness to take it slow so he can still be an active Daddy and Hubby. I absolutely love this man!! :o)

My husband and I are both in college and our four year old just started preschool. We are both in the Pre-Med program and book expenses are crazy. My husband is a paramedic/firefighter for hall county in Georgia, so you know what his salary is like. This year is especially hard. They have to take mandatory furlows(days off without pay), they have lost their holiday pay, and they are not allowed to take any vacation time this year. Things have been really tough, but where there is a will there's a way. Maybe this is an answer to our prayers.

I'm an education major, and I'm currently looking for the best possible price for “Problem Solving Approach to Mathematics for Elementary School Teachers” and “America's Teachers: An Introduction to Education.” I tried ordering the older edition of the math book, but I have not gotten it in the mail yet and my teacher still has to approve it so I might still need to purchase the current edition. Until then, I plan on using the math book in our math lab. I really wish I could just afford to buy the current edition, but they are so darn expensive!

My oldest son just started a duel enrollment program that allow any junior or senior in high schhol with a qualifying score on their ACT and high enough GPA to take college coarses . He gets a credit at the high school for the class as a honors class as well as gets college credit. So with great honor he is enrolled. We went to orientation Monday night and got hit with tuition that thank God was covered by a grant we applied for as well as we got his total for three books of $282.00 I never knew how pricey these things would be until now. I know it could be worse but I would love to win this as I realize next semester will be here soon for another round of book.:)
