Mississippi River

Happy Friday!  This has been a fun and productive week!  Today we took the really really long way from Jackson MS to Tupelo MS.  So long that we went through 2 other states to get there.  It was done intentionally just to have some family time and to add a few more states to our family scrapbook (we are one of those crazy families that gets out and takes pictures at state lines).

For shopping this week I made it out to Kroger and Walgreens.

Kroger:
Total Before Sales and Coupons: $66.18
Total Spent: $38.10
Total Saved: $28.08

I got a few Mega Event items and the rest was stocking up from that Half price Clearance Wine spot.  We don’t really need any but it will great for the holidays.  I also got a lot of rain checks since most of the great Mega Event deals were long gone.

Walgreens:
Total Before Sales and Coupons: $28.99
Total Spent: $8.44
Total Saved: $20.55

I stocked up on clearance makeup and got a few of the other weekly deals.   I also got some of the clearance expandable towels for our Operation Christmas Child Boxes.

How did you do this week?  Leave a link to your savings post or a comment.  If you don’t have a blog but want to share a picture you can post it in the community for everyone to see!
