Did you know that you can put Coffee-Mate creamer in more than just your coffee?  If you’re not a coffee drinker, but you get great deals on creamer and you want to find something to do with it, you may want to try this.  There are lots of recipes for desserts like cheesecake, tiramimisu, cookies and so much more, all calling for creamer in replacement of milk or other dairy items.

Here’s one that sounds delicious (and healthy):

Ingredients:

1 container (15 oz) part-skim ricotta cheese
1 container (7 oz) plain lowfat Greek yogurt
1/2 cup Vanilla Flavor Coffee-Mate Natural Bliss
1 tablespoon honey
3 cups fresh berries and/or sliced fruit
6 sprigs fresh mint
Lowfat granola (optional)

Instructions:

Put ricotta cheese, yogurt, Coffee-mate and honey in blender; cover. Blend for 2 minutes or until completely smooth. Spoon into individual bowls; top with berries. Sprinkle with granola.

      2 cups crushed chocolate cookies
      1/2  cup granulated sugar (divided)
      1/3 cup of melted butter
      3 packages (24 ounces) cream cheese, softened
      1 cup French Vanilla flavored liquid coffee creamer
      6 teaspoons Vanilla Roast instant coffee
      4 large eggs
      1/3 cup all-purpose flour
      3/4 cup white baking chips
      2 cups (16 ounce pkg.) sour cream
      Preheat oven to 350 degrees
      Combine cookie crumbs and ¼ cup of the sugar in a bowl. Set the remaining sugar aside. Stir butter into cookie mixture. In an ungreased 9-inch make your crust. Press the mixture into the bottom and about 1 inch up the side. Bake for 5 minutes.

      In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and liquid creamer until creamy. In another bowl, combine the eggs and instant coffee. Stir until coffee has dissolved. Add the egg mixture, flour and remaining sugar to the cream cheese mixture. Beat until combined. Make your crust in a 9″ ungreased pan.  Pour mixture into the crust. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until the edges set with the center still able to move slightly.  My family loves this!!!

      When making Strawberry Shortcake, you could use the creamer over the strawberries to give it a Strawberries and creme taste. My family likes to use milk but if your looking for a bit of flavor the creme would be a variety.

      I use these to make ice cream in my Ice cream maker, just add a little bit of heavy cream to lessen the sweetness, turn it on for 60 min and when dinner is done the kids have a little dessert.  I picked these up the other day for .25 at the comm.  sure wish I would have had a coupon for some negative ice cream :)

Also, it is perfect for any recipe where your melting chocolate, instead of adding the milk, use the creamer for some added flavors for your chocolate. At Christmas time I make cookies for all of our family who I  won’t be able to see for the holidays, this makes my cookies stand out above the rest and everyone is constantly asking for my recipe.

      I love to use it in smoothies instead of milk! Although sometimes I use half milk, half creamer. If you’ve never made a smoothie at home, use a cup of your favorite fruity yogurt (you can even use Greek yogurt, although your smoothie will definitely end up thicker), a handful/about a cup of fruit (same or different; it’s up to you), and about a half cup milk and/or creamer. Use a blender or hand blender to mix it all up and enjoy! For a shake instead, just add a scoop of ice cream.

      I absolutely adore Natural Bliss in my coffee, so I guess I can’t really look beyond coffee creamer or perhaps a smoothie/milkshake.  Looking forward to reading these posts!

      I have a recipe for a cold strawberry soup that calls for 1/3 c. of milk and then vanilla.  It would probably be good with some vanilla creamer instead. I really never thought of this.       I’ve been using coffee mate creamer for years in different recipes.  My very favorite & easy way to make french toast is to add any of the creamers to an egg and milk mixture and dip your favorite bread.  The different flavors of creamer make for wonderful french toast.   My sons favorite is simply to add it to any type of milk to make vanilla milk.

      Apricot and Cream Cheese Bread Pudding 15 cups of bread (your choice)32 oz of creamer – any flavor4 tsps of cinnamon powder4 eggs4 tsps of vanilla1 can Apricot Pie Filling4 oz cream cheese (sliced)Raisins HandfulCut the bread into 1/2 to 1 inch pieces, and place in a very large bowl. In a separate 4 quart bowl add – creamer, cinnamon, vanilla, eggs. Use a mixer to blend the ingredients. Pour the liquid mixture over the dry. Mix well.Place mixture halfway up in the pan, then spread the apricots over the bread mixture, place sliced pieces of cream cheese next and finish the layers with raisins. Top off the pan or cup with the remaining mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.

      I am from Egypt and I make a vanilla creamer crepe we call it VCC 
      1 cup all-purpose flour2 eggs1/2 cup creamer 1/2 cup water1/4 teaspoon salt2 tablespoons butter, melted
      In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and the eggs. Gradually add in the creamer and water, stirring to combine. Add the salt and butter; beat until smooth.
      Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each crepe. Tilt the pan with a circular motion so that the batter coats the surface evenly.
      Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes, until the bottom is light brown. Loosen with a spatula, turn and cook the other side. Serve hot.then you fill them with fried bananas and ice cream or as desired

      I’ve used regular Coffeemate for making French toast.

      Bliss has a more subtle flavor so I’d probably toast the bread, then soak with Bliss without an egg, use less nutmeg and cinnamon, retoast under a broiler, cut into cubes and place the cubes in desert glass, sprinkle with a little sugar, then mix a little Bliss with a favorite liquor and drizzle it on top.

      I would make it into a donation to our local VA hospital.  {I drink my coffee black, so don’t know what I’d do to consume it myself.}  Their coffee budget ran dry and they need donations of coffee, creamer, sweeteners, etc. in large volumes for patients who are waiting in their lobby.

      Chocolate eclair.
      Line 13*9 dish with whole graham crackers. Mix together two cups bliss vanilla creamer two small boxes of french vanilla instant pudding n 16 oz cool whip. Pour half filling on crackers put another layer of whole graham crackers n rest of filling. Put final layer of graham crackers covering filling completely. Microwave a tub of chocolate frosting for one min. Stir to mix pour on top of graham crackers n spread evenly while warm. Refrigerate overnight. Cut into squares to serve or spoon it out.

      Keeping Kosher, I use Coffe-Mate when preparing meat dishes …I use it for example to my Mashed Potatoes whilst making “Cottage Pie” or Shepherd’s Pie…All the other ingredients stay the same..and this is just a non-dairy alternative..

      I actually use it when I make homemade banana pudding – just add about 1/8 to 1/4  cup  of the caramel flavor and it gives it a great flavor… I love this stuff and use it in a ton of recipes – it is very versatile – but banana  pudding is my favorite …. next time I might try the vanilla to see what flavor I get

      I am part of the CoffeeMate Brew crew and we are all the time trying new stuff with coffeemate in it!  I replace the liquids in a cake mix (specifically spice cake) and bake it….the cake comes out so moist it is falling apart so I then blend it up with vanilla pudding, heavy whipping cream, instant coffee and then top it with whip cream.  Everyone LOVES it!  IT is my version of coffee cake ;)

      I often purchase a lot of muffin mix because that’s something my toddler will eat.  I can add flax seed, granola, or pretty much anything to her muffins.  A little coffee creamer added to an already-easy mix would make for flavorful muffins.  Consider: a 1/4 cup hazelnut creamer mixed into a Betty Crocker bran muffin mix.  Yum!

      1 tbsp. baking powder

      1 tbsp. packed light brown sugarIn large bowl, combine flour, bran, sugar, baking powder, cloves, cinnamon, and salt. Add apples and apricots. Mix well with fork until apples and apricots are separated and well coated with flour. Set aside. In small bowl, combine egg, Coffee Mate creamer and oil. Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Spoon into 12 lined muffin cups, 3/4 cup full. Sprinkle Crunchy Bran Topping over batter. CRUNCHY BRAN TOPPING: In small bowl, combine bran flake cereal, crushed and brown sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

      So fun, I add it to my morning oatmeal, usually I have 1/2 cups oats 1 cup water 1/2 cup blueberries cooked in micro for 6 minutes, then I add about 1-2 tbs of the vanilla creamer…it is perfectly sweet and creamy, and since I have to watch my cholesterol, the transition to this perfect makes my morning so enjoyable,and ofcourse I have my coffee very creamy with it as well.

      First, let me say that I am a coffee drinker and the Natural Bliss creamer from Coffeemate is my new favorite.  I’ve been using it since I first saw it in the store.  Second, I’ve never even thought about using creamer in a recipie before, but that makes complete sense.

      I make my Banana Pudding with coffee creamer all the time and consider it my “secret ingredient.”
      Mix Banana Pudding Mix, Vanilla Natural Bliss Coffee Mate, Condensed Milk and regular milk together. In a large bowl layer Vanilla Wafers, Bananas, Your Bliss Pudding, and Cool Whip until the Bowl is full. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy! :-)

      In strawberry ice box cake.  You take a regular vanilla cake mix and bake in a 9 x 12 pan.  While it is warm you take the handle of a wooden spoon and poke holes down into the cake about half way.  You take strawberry jello that you have made only using HALF the required water and pour it down into the holes and across the top of the cake.  Put in fridge.  Slice fresh strawberries and lay all across the top of the cake and ‘frost’ with cool whip.  Put back in the fridge until time to eat it.  I wwould use the bliss in the cake mix itself to give more of a vanilla flavor.  Yum!

      what you will need:

      1 cup of salted butter
      3  teaspoons
      of vanilla
      4 cups of icing
      sugar
      4-5 tablespoons
      of  coffee cream (18% and up)how to mix:1.   
      Trust me on this one and use salted
      butter in this icing.

      Whip that butter, with a paddle
      beater if you have it, if not, don’t worry.

      3.   
      Add in the icing sugar. **I came
      back to edit this to say that fresh icing sugar makes all the difference. Icing
      sugar goes stale, and you can sure taste it when it does! Crack open a fresh
      bag for icings, you won’t be sorry!**

      4.   
      Add in the cream. Not milk, cream. I
      used 4 tablespoons for my preference, you adjust to what you want.

      5.   
      Stiffer icing = less cream.

      6.   
      Whippier icing = more cream.
      Vanilla…. I used 3 teaspoons, again, you can try a little more if you like.Then
      keep mixing it until fluffy and thoroughly combined

      Added in place of milk in my favorite Belgian Waffle recipe.  Sounds like a great idea to try!  Especially since my one child is allergic to milk…and the creamer I get is non-dairy.  I like this idea!!!

      I have used coffemate creamer to make a creamy soup base for seafood chowders and cheese based soups. If you are out of milk and want a box of mac and cheese, use about 3T of regualr flavored coffeemate and 5 T of water instead. It gives the mac n cheese a rich flavor. I have also added the sweetened flavored ones to make a shake like this:  put into a blender: icecream (your choice),
      as much coffee mate as you like, coffee ( the amount depends on how thick you like your shake, and about a cup of ice.  Blend and you have a delicious coffee drink!  To make a chocolate chip cheeseball: blend 8 oz cream cheese,1/2 C butter, 1/4 t vanilla extract, 3/4 C confectioners sugar, 2 T brown sugar, 1/2 C coffeemate coffee creamer flavor of your choice, 3/4 C miniature chocolate chips or caramel chips or whatever flavor chips you like. After you blend ingredients, refrigerate for 2 hours. Next form mixture into a ball and roll in more miniature chips or crushed nuts of your choice. Serve with ritz, graham crackers, animal crackers, or even cookies of your choice.

      I personally like the Vanilla falvored Coffee-Mate Natural Bliss in my oatmeal. By using the creamer I don’t have to add any sugar or milk. It is delicious.

      I just got a keurig coffee maker for Christmas and as a penny pincher I love making iced coffee in the morning for about .78 a cup versus spending almost $5 at Starbucks! I use the natural bliss creamer every morning with my k-cups and I couldn’t use anything else!

      Wow!  I hadn’t thought about using creamer in recipes before.  I had to give up coffee recently but still sneak a sip of creamer from my husband’s cup before pouring coffee over top of it.  I will definitely be using creamer to make French toast, mac and cheese and bread pudding.
